20 Best Case Nexus 6 (2022 Updated)

What attracted me to this particular case was the design and the appearance. The case did arrive earlier than expected, which was convenient considering I had just bought my phone and could not find a case for it anywhere.

Anyway, when the case arrived in the mail, it just wasn’t what I had expected. The built in screen protector feels pretty flimsy and I just don’t feel very comfortable with that being the only thing protecting my screen.

The fingerprint reader is much more difficult to use with that type of screen protector and probably works 3 out of 10 times. There isn’t an option for a pop-socket on the back because of the kickstand.

The kickstand is nice, and substitutes for what you would use a pop-socket for, but the area in which the kickstand is located and where you would put your hands to use it as a pop-socket sit just a little too low, which makes it somewhat uncomfortable to use as one.

So, if you’re wanting a case you can use a pop-socket on, I wouldn’t recommend this phone case. Overall, it seems alright but I’ve decided to buy a different case and an actual screen protector just so I know my phone is safe.

I would recommend this phone case to someone that maybe is either gentle, or a little older.

I got this case in the mail today. I was very surprised by the quality. I honestly thought it would be cheaper plastic but this is very durable and thicker plastic/kevlar material. I definitely feel comfortable knowing that if I drop my phone on either side or corner it will be protected.

Its slick and doesn’t have slip resistant backing that sticks in your pockets and hard to get out. Its perfect and fits my s10e like a glove. Worth the money! Hope this helps someone.

I preferred the older cases of this model. There are several issues. The back can no longer be used by itself, so you are stuck with the see through screen provided. The quality of the screen is not good and smudges instantly.

I prefer to provide my own screens and trade them out as needed which was possible with the old I-Blason models. Am I correct that Supcase bought their company and toyed with the design? The placement of the kickstand is now very close to the bottom.

It is very tight (which is not good or bad), but it’s placement causes the phone to sit up almost straight and difficult to use in the vertical position. It’s fine in the horizontal position. It’s also much more slippery on any surface than the older model.

I won’t be ordering these any more.

Just received this on Feb 27th! It fits my S20 FE perfectly. I thought it was going to have a really hard plastic feel to it, but it’s a sturdy rubbery plastic that will definitely help with shock absorption if it’s dropped.

It also has a smooth finish to it (I didn’t realize the lines were flush with the design). The front screen cover fits perfectly. I use my fingerprint on this case and it’s on point! So far have i had no issues using the touchscreen with this case on.

Overall, I love it! Great purchase! :).

The description for the product I viewed was for a Marble coloured Samsung S20 FE phone case with a screen protector that was promised to work with the fingerprint ID reader. This phone case refuses to allow my fingerprints to work, even after trying to add new ones in with the screen protector.

My phone won’t recognize that I’m using my finger correctly. This isn’t an issue normally. It’s also clear, not marble as described. I will not be ordering from this marketplace seller again, this phone case has disappointed all around.

This case does the basic job very well. But I’m torn on the texture/coating used. Build quality is above average, easily providing better finish, cleaner edges than my other, more expensive Pixel 6 case.

On the other hand, it is certainly grippier than my other Pixel 6 case, but it also leaves a “dirty” feeling on the hand. Like it got something sticky spilled on it, but can’t be cleaned. For now, I’ll continue using it, and hope that it doesn’t start attracting dirt/grime.

this case was perfect for the Pixel 6 Pro. If you’re familiar with Spigen cases, it’s more of the same high quality product you can expect. I’ve used Spigen for my previous 3 phones and they haven’t let me down yet.

It does feel a bit thicker than some of their other cases but if it helps protect my phone, i’m all for it. It’s also nice that it doesn’t interfere with my screen protector. It does not push up the edges at all.

The case was as expected, super thin and very pleasing to the touch. I actually returned this case not because of aesthetics or quality concerns, but because of I also purchased the Tough Armor and it fulfilled my needs in a case.

The Thin For is still a great case if you are going for minimalism.

Good protection. Sleek and stealthy design. Only problem is that the rubbery coating on the hard shell wears off too soon. SIX months to a year. But, they’re so inexpensive that you could buy a handful for the price of most cases and be good to go for a long while.

I think the case is beautiful and has great coloration and protection. My only slight issue is there is no rubberization or grips. It’s shiny slick plastic that makes me feel insecure that I may drop it.

I’m going to find a YouTube video for a DIY to address this issue. I know I’ve seen one with using a glue gun to build ridges.

This case is snug and slim, but plenty rugged. I looks great on the phone, and the lines where the two parts meet are virtually seamless. I try out a lot of phone cases looking for just the right fit, and this one is it.

If you are looking for solid protection without a lot of bulk, this is the case for you.

This was my only choice for a durable defender style case for the Nexus 6 since OtterBox doesn’t make one. The phone goes into a hard shell, the screen protector is separate which is held on by the lip of the silicone cover that wraps around the hard case.

It works fine. If you put it in a tight pocket, occasionally the edge of the silicone cover will wanna lip up and you gotta press it back over the screen protector. This doesn’t happen to defect or from just sitting anywhere so it’s not that big of a deal.

Other then that it’s your best option. Holster works good and clip is strong.

I’ve had ballistic phone cases before. It is well designed to protect the phone from being dropped and everyday wear n’ tear. The lack of a screen protector means that you will have to buy one separately, which is the only thing I don’t like about the case.

The case is still slim enough to fit in my pocket, and the case does an amazing job of keeping the slippery phone from sliding around (like in your car while you drive).

This is the third differnt ballistic case I’ve owned. They’re the best thing I’ve ever used. I alway recommend them. I just bought a nexus 6, and the case looks great on the phone. Only thing I wish they would do is add a little color to them.

Like this one has the white. Really looks cool. But me personally would love to see it in black with green. The white is still bad ass tho. I love it.

This is the second Supcase I’ve bought. The first was for my fiance’s phone. I’ve had numerous types of cases in the past. I always gravitated towards the Otterboxes but I think I’ve found a new brand that I will continue to use.

I’ve dropped this thing down a flight of stairs on three separate occasions with no damage to the case or my phone. I’ve dropped it in the street 5 times with no damage to the phone or damage to the case.

Many of those drops the phone landed screen side down and no damage. So as far as durability, it gets my seal of approval for sure. As far as usage goes, it annihilates the Otterboxes I’ve used in one main area.

Pulling down the menu from the top of my screen. This phone is shaped so you can easily pull down your notification bar. On Otterboxes and a few other brands I’ve used, they have a hard edge that it never registers my finger trying to pull down.

This case has a taper to it and I’ve yet to have an issue pulling down. The screen protector is barely even noticeable to me. As far as screen protection goes, I’ve used Invisishield since their inception.

I always preferred the old style that went on like window tint. I more recently had used their glass style which I’ve been through 4 of them with this phone. Thankfully the replacements were always warrantied.

When I got this case I decided to forego the screen protector and this protector definitely seems adequate considering the amount of drops I’ve had with no damage so far. I definitely recommend this brand.

My fiance loves her case too, albeit not the same model, still just as good quality.

I like it a lot better than the Otterbox Defender case I had for it. This case seems like it will protect it a lot better too. The built-in screen protector extends over the entire front of the case, so it even covers and protects the front camera.

There is a tight metal mesh over the speaker and microphone holes to cover and protect them as much as possible as well and there is an additional built-in screen protector on the back to cover and protect the rear camera.

I was worried that the interchangeable covers might fall off, but once you put one on, it clips in really well. The only thing I don’t like is how slick the interchangeable plastic cover is, but I plan to spray the ugly gold colored interchangeable cover with some black textured spray paint to give it some grip and if I ever decide I don’t like it, I can just change it back to the silver interchangeable cover that I like.

The clip on the top can become stuck in jackets or sweaters or clothing when removing them and accidentally un-clip and fall off. The phone on/off and volume controls are on the bottom are not covered by the clip on case and can become pressed (happened a few times).

Instructions say to clip in softly as clipping it in fast and/or hard may damage or break the snap in part. The phone charger plug in is covered by a rubber stopper (attached to the case) which you have to pull back when trying to charge and makes it very difficult to plug in.

When I bought my Moto G6 and learned of it having a glass back with many reviewers saying how their phone had shattered falling short distances, some falls onto carpet, I knew I needed a very good case.

I decided on the Supcase, and it has not failed. I have dropped my phone multiple times. Hiking on the Appalachian Trail, I have missed my pocket when sliding the phone back into my pants cargo pocket; picking my phone back up off the trail with no damage at all, what a great relief.

In the Wal-Mart parking lot, I got out of our SUV, and as I rounded the vehicle I checked my pocket for my phone and it was not there. Thinking I had left the phone in the Envoy, I went back to the passenger side to get my phone.

to find it laying on the asphalt. Not a scratch or crack; perfectly, perfect. On our last hike, I took a pretty hard fall. I must have tripped on a rock or root. I went down on rocks. My phone slid out of my pocket onto the rocks.

My knee felt intense pain. I rolled over onto my back in pain. I was helped back up onto my feet and was handed my phone being told the phone was okay. Maybe Supcase should make knee cases. My phone took the fall better than me.

I am extremely pleased with this case. I believe my phone would be shattered by now if I did not have this case. Every fall this phone has had has been without the full face cover being on. Only the screen protector and back case have been on during the falls.

I am glad I invested in this case.

This was purchased as a gift to my sister. She has dropped her newly purchased Motto G6 several times with this case fully protecting it from damage. The only complaint that she has is the case limits her charging options.

The phone sits deeply in the case along with the dust cover for the charging/data port making it difficult to use her magnetic charging cable. I have suggested modifying the case to accommodate her magnetic button and charger end but she likes the fact that the case has a closable cover for the port.

Btw the phone will not sit securely in the case without the screen cover/protector snapped in. So you must use the included screen protector with the case.

I had been frustrated for some time with my Maytag French door refrigerator which was accumulating water and ice under the freezer drawer. It was tedious to have to remove the door and then remove the ice every couple of weeks to prevent it from leaking onto my floor.

However, I am retired and couldn’t afford an expensive appliance repair call. I checked on the Internet and found that these refrigerators had a design flaw that kept condensation from flowing into the drip pan.

A replacement part was readily available. I found the genuine Maytag part on eBay at the best price with free shipping. Using a YouTube video and the enclosed instructions, fixing the problem was fast and easy and saved me at least $100.

I am extremely pleased with this product and even recommended it to my daughter who has the same refrigerator.

I’m not usually one to write reviews, but I felt I just had to on this one. I am a long time OtterBox fan and their cases have been my go-to for almost ten year now. When I upgraded to the Pixel 6 Pro, I got the Symmetry Series case in Clear Glitter from the Verizon store and was so excited.

After TWO days of standard use, I noticed it starting to yellow around the edges. By day five, the border was completely yellow, and now two weeks later, the whole case is this horrible urine color. I’m so upset that a $50 case went from looking brand new to disgusting in such a short amount of time.

I’ve seen $10 no-name brand clear cases that hold up better than this. What’s even more frustrating is that the only cases available for the Pixel 6 Pro are these clear Symmetry cases or the Defender series cases, and I don’t like the Defender cases because they don’t fit in my pockets.

If OtterBox made Symmetry cases in a different color, or had some Commuter series cases, I would buy one in a heartbeat. To add insult to injury, OtterBox just released Commuter series cases for the Pixel 6a, which isn’t even out yet.

Clearly there’s a demand for a wider range of Pixel products, so why aren’t they giving consumers more options? It’s so frustrating and I’m deeply disappointed in a company I once regarded so highly.

I’ve had OtterBox cases for as long as I’ve had smartphones. Before I purchased my Google Pixel 6, I first checked OtterBox’s website to find out which lines of cases would be available. I’ve always purchased the Commuter in the past (because I felt it was a protective case without the bulk of the Defender), so I was disappointed to see that there wasn’t a Commuter case offered for the Pixel 6.

I checked the specs for the Symmetry, and decided to give it a try–despite the lack of “port covers” and a “secure grip,” two features listed for the Commuter. My husband has since purchased an OtterBox Commuter case for his new Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, and the side surfaces of his Commuter definitely offer a better grip surface than the side surfaces of my Symmetry.

However, for those of you who are familiar with the older Commuter, the sides of the newest version do not have a large rubbery surface area for grip as they once did. Instead, there are deep grooves in the surface.

I feel that, out of the two choices available to me, I made the best decision–and the Stardust is a fun change (without being too glitzy) from my former cases which were black. Most importantly, it matches the Commuter’s drop protection.

I like to personalize my phone so while I wish OtterBox made more styles in their symmetry line. I will continue to use it. Why? Because years ago I had this same case on one of my older phones (clear sparkle symmetry case).

I was trying to climb over a barrier in a parking garage to exit faster, but my phone slipped out of my pocket and it fell through the narrow gap between two parts of the barrier. My phone dropped a good 2-3 stories and hit concrete/asphalt right on the corner before landing face-down.

I know OtterBox is built for impact but due to the height I thought it was gone and I Was going to have to buy a new phone. I quickly went down to retrieve it and discovered that both this style of OtterBox AND my tempered glass screen protector had prevented the screen from cracking, as well as preserving the operation and functionality of my phone.

I didn’t notice anything wrong with it, and it continued to work fine until I opted to upgrade my phone. Well worth the price, and I’m a fan for life because of that one (unintentional and panic-inducing) demonstration.

I haven’t actually had the opportunity to use the phone / case yet but it looks like it is well made and should protect phone. Normally I am more concerned with function and quality than looks, but I have to say I really like the bold red case that could also be functional because it’s harder to loose track of something that stands out like this one does.

The folding back prop does look a bit weak, but time will tell. The case fits very snugly making it a bit harder to install & remove phone than my Otter-Box, but one doesn’t need to R&R cover every day so that’s not a big deal.

The design does include a small notch in the lower left corner of rubber case to get a fingernail started for peeling the back portion off – much easier than doing it without the notch (I tried). The folding back prop does look a bit weak, but time will tell.

Over=all a good value I think.

I don’t usually write reviews, but decided to do one after seeing the 1-star rating, which I feel is undeserved for this case. I’ve had my PRIV for about 2 years, and it’s been living inside the Seidio SURFACE case since the first week of purchase.

Most of the time the phone is either in my pocket, my desk, or car holder and I use it daily. The case is made in 2 parts to accommodate PRIV’s sliding keyboard – there is a hard bottom “shell” that has the buttons and snugly fits around the phone.

Then there’s a slim bezel that wraps around the screen and snaps into the bottom shell. It has taken me a little time to “break in” the case, so that it doesn’t interfere with the phone’s sliding action.

It was a bit tight in the beginning, but has significantly improved since, so that now it’s barely noticeable. The case also offers a good amount of room around the power & audio jacks. I’ve had no issues plugging in earbuds, studio headphones or aux-in cords, though some wide audio plugs (like those hexagonal-shaped plugs you get at Radio Shack or large, all-metal connectors) do not work.

Over the years, the phone took a few spills onto hard ground (asphalt or concrete) from about waist height and this case protected it well during those unfortunate events. There is no damage to the phone, and the case itself only has a hairline crack in the upper left corner of the top bezel.

Over the years, there are no other noticeable scratches, or dents on the case or the phone, so I think the case does its job remarkably well and is able to absorb a good amount of daily wear and tear.

Of the things that could be improved are the power & volume buttons and ability to access the SD slot without removing the case. The buttons are made of plastic and are separate from the hard shell of the case.

Although I’ve never had issues with buttons not connecting to the phone like other reviewers, one of my volume buttons had fallen out is now missing. It’s not a big issue, really, since I can still use the Vol Dn button to bring up the volume on screen, then use phone’s volume slider on screen to adjust the volume, as needed.

Overall, I’m very happy with the case, and would buy the same exact one if mine ever broke.

I love my Seidio cell phone case every day except for the day I dropped my phone and bobbled into the air and in trying to catch it propelled the corner of it straight down onto my pinky toe and broke my toe.

It was also the day I was moving two households into one household 200 miles away from our home to a new home in a new city. I have to say. I dropped my phone a lot during that move and it broke everything it hit.

except for my phone itself. This case is awesome and even has a little kickstand to set it up to watch videos or take pictures. Best case I have every had also because it us lightweight and low profile.

This is the second Seidio cell phone case I have owned (I had a different phone last time and so had a different Seidio case). I will also buy again if I have to get a different phone. I have already recommended it to others (including my foot doctor, lol).

I have been using Seidio holsters and cases for the past 8 years. They holsters have yet to break and that’s over the course of 10 different cell phones. From the droid 3 to the new Droid Turbo (well 2014 version there is now a droid turbo 2 ,2015 same specs just 810 processor vs 805 and 500$ more ) Also an LG G3 which are both about 5.

5 “s so almost a tablet (well when a tablet was 7” standard ) Point being is they are far easier that otter box and look 100x better (otter box has that loose oversized plastic screen protector that looks horrible , this does not like I stated in the title it just slides half on top and the other half on the bottom then they snap together and done.

Super easy ON, and easy to remove as well if you have an sd card or a reason you want the case off. Another thing they are all laced with a smooth velvet like material not just the case but the holster as well.

Durability : I have accidently dropped phones on their side , to face and the minimal bezel of the case has prevented the phone any scratches or damage (external and internal by absorbing the shock ), I also use screen protectors designed for the phones not just generic ones being that all phones have front cameras , sensors , and front flash now so you can not cover them.

I would Highlyrecommend this BRAND SEIDIO TO EVERY ONE IF YOU TRY IT 1X YOU WILL NEVER GO ANY OTHER ROUTE AGAIN. Also I need a Holster , which made this very appealing you can get just the case or just the holster.

some of us still carry phones in our pockets and destroy them but to each is own. The holster makes /and protects the phone from every angle ,when also in a case that’s made as a combo. Try it you will love it I have a 4to 5 year old droid 3 still in a SEIDIO CASE AND HOLSTER THAT LOOKS NEW and I used used it daily for over a year.

I love it it’s super protective and very convenient when you’re going out to have drinks and dinner you don’t have to carry as much ish because your ID,visa and ect. Is rite at hand.

Great looking case, its hard to argue with that. My issue isn’t with its looks, but rather with its durability. A little history: Ive had plenty of Spigen cases on a few phone and apple watches ive had.

All have been good except for the Neo hybrid apparently. Story: Not to long ago I purchased another Neo Hybrid case because mine cracked unexpectedly. Im not rough on my cases at all and now the new one has cracked as well (same place each time-around the ringer/silent switch-iPhone 7).

Ultimately its held together by the soft portion of the case and probably wont get much worse but its still broke, twice! Im hesitant to buy another Spigen case or even refer them to friends now. Im hoping that Spigen Customer service will contact me and let me know what my options are.

Case fits great. Translucent color allows original case color through (in my case, Chalk White). Sounds seems to come through, though there doesn’t appear to be an opening at the top of the phone for the speaker at the top of the phone.

The controls seem to work well right through the case. It’s rather floppy rather than rigid, so not sure how well it will protect the phone if dropped, though it claims to do so. Maybe the rubbery feel does more than might be expected.

Edges of the case are just slightly higher than the edges of the phone, which probably resists scratches when placed on a surface. Same thing for the back, protecting the cameras. Case has a rubbery feel, but is sometimes almost slippery, perhaps based on humidity of something else that affects the skin.

I do find the edges a little scratchy at times when scrolling, but other than that it seems to work well.

The case is nice fitting and has a good feel to it, as one would expect from a first-party accessory. However, after a few months of use, the portion of the case near the buttons and charging port started warping and peeling away from the phone.

This is a common issue with these cases with plenty of examples online. Google warranty replacement is hit or miss and it’s just going to happen again with the same case. For $40 there are plenty of other options that will actually keep their shape.

This case fits the Pixel 6a very well. It provides a raised lip around the screen and around the camera bar. However it is smooth, there are no ridges or cross-hatching to improve your grip. The material is not slippery but I would have preferred a rougher surface.

There are several other cases with improved anti-slip features that are cheaper.

Good tough silicone case,. Feels very solid and I like the bumper type edges because it provides a super good grip. So glad I found this to protect my ancient nexus 7 tablet. Do you have one for a Galaxy Tab E 9.

6 ” tablet?.

These covers are the best we’ve tried. Both my husband and my son are hard on their electronics and these cases are the only ones that we use now. They protect not only the back but also the front and corners.

After many drops tablets and phones still no cracks! Also tight fitting and easy to get on/off. Highly recommended, also nice looking.

I absolutely LOVE this case. I have seen MANY silicone cases and none of them even come close to the level of protection this case gives to my tablet. I use my device with so much more confidence because of the excellent quality of the bumper styling and durability of this case.

Very impressed with this case – it’s very quiet indeed even with an extra fan installed. The front switch to adjust the internal fans’ speed is useful. My only niggle is that removing the front and top were a bit tricky, but other than that.

It looks good too, which is always a bonus, even if it does spend its life under my desk. It’s a darn sight better looking than the previous monstrosity I had!.

When I upgraded to a Pixel 6a phone, I looked for the corresponding case that would protect my lighter weight phone without being too bulky. The nice feature about this platform is that Google makes a very nice translucent case for its 6a that handles well, nice to the touch, and accommodates the bar on the back of the phone perfectly.

For me, this case was a win-win for my new phone!.

My pixel 6a is the light green, so I picked the case in the tinted green. It’s clear with a hint of seafoam green so it looks great. The case is a thick, soft rubber material. I keep rubbing the back of my phone because it’s so soft.

My phone snapped in perfectly, it’s super snug & durable. I wouldn’t want any other case, & I’m picky.

Nexus 6 is improved by this non-slip clear case. Button function is improved by larger size and easier tactile ID. Case makes the phone a thing of beauty. Slight lip above screen protects but does not interfere with swiping.

This rubber cover seems good enough. While basic, it does the job. And most of the time, those basic rubber covers are better than the fancy ones. Good price.

Good product and great price. A low profile case that protects your beloved Shamu. Case does extend out past the screen, adding protection from scratches as well.

At less than a fiver it was a cracking good buy! The clear cover for the screen was vital because I often have other things in my pocket that could cause scratches and I like that it isn’t stuck to the screen like most screen protectors (I don’t have a great track record for applying them).

It works Ok with my wireless charger. My only negative is that the screen protector does reduce touch sensitivity, but I’ve got used to it and since it’s only a mild irritation, it seems a fair trade off for great protection.

Go sub for otterbox at a fraction of the would be price. Otterbox does not make a case for this model phone.
