20 Best Case Note 7 (2022 Updated)

We have given the otterbox shell and slip-cover about a month now and it is a great case overall, with some notable flaws. The case is comfortable and provides built in screen protection, which we really enjoy because of how difficult those things are to put on.

The case seems incredibly durable and though they advertise water resistance, I don’t know how that is possible given that the speakers on the phone are exposed to open air. Here are the flaws: First, because of the design of the charging/headphone port covers, it pushes the screen protector face of the case out a little bit and allows dirt and grit to get trapped in there.

This is incredibly inconvenient as we have to take apart our phones every few days to clean both the phone and the case. If I am pushing grit into the screen, that would just defeat the purpose of the protector in the first place.

To avoid this, we invested in a wireless charger which works with our Galaxy S7s. The second flaw is registering taps, swipes, etc. on the phone itself because of the screen protector. Trying to swipe down the utility menu from the top of the phone is finnicky at best and trying to type at a specific point in a document is an effort in frustration sometimes.

The case itself is so good at protection, I can forgive that. My wife has a harder time with her phone (we have the same phone and case, just different colors) as she doesn’t tap very hard and her phone barely registers her light touches, again because of the screen protector.

To make sure we didn’t just have a bad batch, we called Otterbox (more on that in the good points section below) and they issues us replacements which had the exact same issues, so it’s just some issues with the general design.

Here are the good points: The phone is SAFE. We are careful with our phones so we haven’t dropped them yet, but we are both confident our phones would survive quite a bit of rough-handling. The button covers make the buttons much easier to press which is satisfying.

Last, the colors are outstanding. I LOVE the Orange on Black cover I have and my wife really likes her White on Red cover. When we called Otterbox, we talked to a human which is always a plus, and she was very courteous and sent us replacements with no shipping charge.

Super fast and easy, which is how it should be. Recommendations: 1. ) Rework the design of the Charger/Headphone Port Covers so they don’t bunch up and allow grit inside the screen protector. 2. ) Never charge shipping for a warranty replacement.

3. ) Lower the price of these covers/cases. $60 to protect a two-year old phone? Seems high given the issues. 4. ) Why an increase in cost to mix/match the case and slip cover? They came in simple plastic baggies and not legit packaging which should save Otterbox money.

We got charged more to have the colors we wanted. 5. ) If you do buy this case and slip cover, invest in a wireless charger so the charger port cover never needs to be opened. Good case overall, despite the issues.

All in all, the cases are good, but for $60 a case.

My sport/pastime is long distance cross country trekking, so accurate map reading is essential. I use the OS live mapping/tracking app, but can now upgrade from iPhone to iPad mini – great since my 76-year-old eyes need all the help they can get! I already have a case by the same maker for my iPhone, which has been soak tested (not intentionally!) on two or three occasions, with no leakage.

So I was especially pleased to get an identical, larger case from the same maker. I’ve taken it out to play three times so far, including in the recent snow, and it’s been perfect. Photo images are excellent, and touch screen still works fine.

And the wide, sturdy lanyard is excellent for map reading on the move. Only one little niggle, since I’m usually viewing and using the camera with the iPad camera-down and home button up, a second camera aperture opposite end would be useful.

No issue with the mapping, of course, as the screen auto-rotates. But aside from that, brilliant.

Really pleased with this cover. Comes with shoulder strap and will keep my I pad safe when travelling and on the beach.

Ideal for outside use. My only grip is that I wish the camera window was at the opposite end as you would then be able to just to lift the iPad up and take a picture without having to invert the bag and also the strap is too wide and short.

This product doesn’t stands up to its name, it does not protect the cell like is announce it would. The cell screen and camera are completely exposed is to all the elements, scratches, bumps and so fort.

The material the cover is made of feel great and looks good but thas all.

I like this case. Lightweight and stylish but yet very practical. It protects the phone well. If I would add anything it would be attached dust and moisture plugs for the ports.

Excellent design, very convenient. Protects the phone, easy to hold.

Note 8 has screen sensitivity issues. This screen does not help that. Works perfectly with the S pen but otherwise, you will lose screen swiping funcionality. Leave the screen alone or put the thinnest possible screen protector you can get.

You will find loads of Note 8’s with screen cracks and marks. The screen sensitivity issue is the reason, where in the end, users got so annoyed, they ripped them off!! Otherwise, Zagg is superb in every other way – but don’t buy it – it will annoy you.

Overall it’s a great phone case cover. Very durable and long lasting, however, when it comes to being a wallet for your credit it far short. Its extremely difficult to remove your card from the cover.

I damaged my credit card when trying to purchase an item at my local store. After 20min, I was approached by a women with tweezers, I used it to remove the card, but it scratch the card and now the card it’s not being detected by any card scanner.

Overall the case is better use as a great case to protect your phone, but not as a wallet.

I just got a new S8 and needed a great case. I had a Tech21 on my S5 and dropped it a million times with no issues — 10 foot drop rating. This “returned/used” Tech21 Evo Go is like new and just what I was looking for — leather back and easily holds an ID and credit card (I actually just slipped a third card in just to see, and the magnets snap shut like a dream).

It’s a breeze to slide the cards right back out too. A new one of these cases would have cost me over $50 more. For top notch protection and a concealed card holder, this is the answer.

My son purchased a tablet about a year ago and didn’t purchase a case for it. Unfortunately, I picked up the wrong one but that is my fault. Having a quality case on any device is a must. I’m always afraid of accidentally dropping and breaking my devices so I always look for a case that is designed to protect my tablets or phones.

This case does that job, it provides protection around the edges and it is rugged to cushion an accidental drop. The price is a bit of a set back but it is still a good investment. Overall, I highly recommend this case to protect your Samsung Galaxy Tab S7.

One word: impressive. My last iPad had a life proof case that I paid $75 for. This case seems as sturdy as my living proof. I like the mint green color. I am impressed by the Velcro handpiece on the back, it rotates 360 so you can hold your iPad landscape or portrait.

I’ve had an SP Connect case for about 6 different phones now, mostly all iPhones. Every case I’ve had has been exceptionally great until now. I just received the iPhone 12 Pro Max case. First off, the case was by itself, unwrapped, thrown into a padded envelope, with the kickstand in a small bag inside the envelope as well.

If i do recall correctly, all my other cases arrived in it’s own box that was inside the package. The case itself is extremely flimsy compared to all the previous models. The sides of the case where you would usually grab your phone actually bow out.

It’s not touching or grabbing the phone. When I grab my phone, I’m literally squeezing the case and “closing” it. The phone does not feel safe or secure in the case. I can pop the phone out of the case with so much ease I find it had to believe it would stay within it’s case when attached to my bike or car.

I’m very disappointed in the quality of the new cases. Maybe mine is a fluke? A bad batch? I usually love all the SP Connect products, but this one has me questioning how they would even release a product like this.

I have sent them an email regarding the issue, but as of right now, I cannot give the iPhone 12 Pro Max case 5 stars like I wanted to.

I picked up a motorcycle kit at the IMS show in 2019, and now have 3 kits and 2 different phones and just picked up the anti-vibration mounts. Every one of the mounts I use is of the highest quality and very secure.

Confidence is necessary when you clip a $1300 phone on a bar and hit the highway and these deliver in spades. I originally balked at the pricing, but I don’t have a drawer full of junk e-bay ones, nor have I every lost a phone because I decided to buy the best.

Once. No regrets! I do wish they were compatible with magnet mounts I use in the car but the case is (necessarily) too thick for it to work well.

I’m a truck driver. I did my research on cell phone cases. I’m really really hard on my electronics. I don’t handle an $800 cellphone with gentleness, I treat it like it’s an air impact gun. I don’t set them down, I toss them across the truck bunk without a care in the world.

So I had to really find out which cell phone case could handle my abuse. I figured why not look up what cell phone cases police or security guards use, lord knows they probably dont treat their cell phones nice either.

Well Rokform is the name of the brand that popped up first on my Google search. So it happens that my wife and I with the kids are on a little outing for the day and my youngest son decides to turn around an swat my cell phone out of my hand.

With horror I watched as it flew through the air and landed flat on its screen area, on the concrete floor. Lucky for me, I had just put my new case on my new S22 earlier that day. The phone case didn’t even have a scratch or indent in the hard plastic, the phone didn’t have a scratch on the screen because it is recessed in its housing.

Definitely impressed. Also I love the magnetic backing on it. Great for hanging it on the fridge.

I like the “idea” of the OtterBox Defender, but it’s way too bulky for my liking. However, I am paranoid about not having a protective enough case around my phone! Then I stumbled upon a YouTube video showcasing the Rokform Rugged case – in which the guy was throwing it all over his garage and driveway, phone unscathed – and I knew this was “the one.

” Fast forward to receiving the case in the mail, and I was surprised… I was expecting a more bulky case, but this thing is pretty streamlined, while still being super protective looking. And the magnets? I can’t stop sticking my phone onto metal objects – the refrigerator, the range hood above the stove, the metal cubicle walls at work – it’s strong! And I didn’t even install the added magnet middle piece! This is the case I was looking for. I was using a magbak case for my 12 pro and I loved it but wanted to try something new. I owned a few of these cases back when I had an iPhone 7 and like them. I was looking for something stylish, comfortable in the hand, and with the magnetic capability to hook up to a mount in my truck.

The magback only cases just weren’t strong enough. When I got the phone I got a speck and a Belkin vent mount. The phone held on fine but several times it came off while hitting a bump or the phone turned when I was going around a corner.

I also wanted something that was grippy enough to hold in one hand and not feel like I was going to drop it. I decided on this case and the vent mount for rhe magback. What a combo!! I now want the all black one just to switch it up a little bit! I’ve been recommending this case to everyone that I’ve talked to about it.

And received lots of compliments in the one day I’ve owned it.

A must for anyone who wants a very durable case. Fits like a glove on my Note 7. Looks better than an Otterbox, and feels better also. Does not have a screen protector but I take them out of my cases anyway because of the air gap.

And half the price of the top name brand. Will never go back to Otter as long as Supcase keeps making these cases. Get thus product!.

I have this same style case on my Samsung tablet. So i knew it would be a perfect fit. In my opinion, it’s than an otter box. Do your phone a favor and buy this.

Case came in before estimated time, case seems durable only drawback is the lack of a built in screen protector but i bought a tempered glass screen for my note 7 and fixed the issue. Overall it is worth the money.

Got for my grand daughters Samsung tablet. It’s a good fit and I love the carrying handle which holds the pencil for the tablet

Purchased for the tablet but it didn’t fit. It is of good quality and will be exchanging for the correct one.

This is a great product, when I received it I was worried about it digging into my stomach or lap. And was surprised that, that was not the case I don’t even notice that it’s on my belt Great buy and orange I’ll recommend 10/10 times.

I recommend the Case and Eleven-10 Gen 7 Tourniquet. Looks as the picture and fits on my duty belt. Comfortable and easy to deploy and use.

Well made and provides a nice rubber protection all the way around the Tablet + screen protection that doesn’t cause any problems with the touch display. Also like it holds the pen where it’s supposed to.

Only complaint is there is no opening for the extra memory card slot so you have to remove the case if you want to insert or remove a memory card. Not a big deal, but rubber around speaker holes is thick and slightly muffles sound.

Great protection and perfect for GPS but you can no longer talk on your phone. Because the cover completely covers your speaker and mic, your phone is disabled. You can listen to a caller but they won’t hear you because the microphone (bottom edge) is completely covered up with clear plastic.

If you want to have a 2-way conversation, you’re gonna have to remove the weather cover and put it aside then reinstall it on the phone when you’re done talking. I thought about cutting the bottom edge off to solve this problem but then it would no longer be protected from rain.

If you know of any other workaround, please tell us about it. I still recommend this cover but just know you can no longer have a conversation, don’t bother answering the phone when it rings.

All my previous quad lock cases for iPhones have been great and this one is no exception. Great protection while allowing me to have phone readily accessible on my motorcycle.

Great case, it offers quite nice protection to the back and also to screen. After applying this protector, the issue with accidental touches to curve edges is also solved. Lastly I used to always order from bol.

com but also noticed gmspunt. nl website (and they sell via bol. com) for which I was skeptical originally. I’d have to say the parcel arrived on time as promised and was well protected. I would definitely recommend this case and gsmpunt!.

Delivery came a few days ahead of schedule. +++ Wasn’t aware the back side has a clear plastic sheet, I thought this only covered the edges of the device. Overall great product. Shows off the back color of my device.

Not Otterbox defender level but if I do drop it and it lands on the edge from a reasonable distance, I believe my device won’t take notable damage or none at all. Pair this with a plastic front cover for overall added protection.

I like this cover, its slim and protective while letting the back of phone show. I have the blue s10e with black cover and it looks awesome. No issues with wireless charging or usability of phone. If I had to complain, my only complaint would be the thin front part of the case near fingerprint reader, Im curious how well it will hold up with time.

I purchased the white candyshell grip case for my white Note 5 and the fit and color are on point. The case feels well constructed and has smooth and precise molding and cutouts. The one piece fused design is one of my favorite features of Speck’s cases and the grip version of the candyshell is much appreciated! Oodles of times better than the slippery glass back of the Note 5.

I don’t see myself loosing grip of my phone now. The color of this case and quality of materials are great compliments to the premium feel of my white Note 5. The raised lip to protect the phone face down is deep enough for me to install a tempered glass protector and still have plenty of room to lie my phone face down.

I recommend the candyshell grip to everyone in the market for a functional, stylish and slim phone case with plenty of grip for their Note 5. P. S. : I read a review where the reviewer mentioned the cutout for one of the two microphones (the one at the bottom) is covered by the case, but I can testify it is not covered.

There is a channel cut into the molding where the speaker is that allows the mic to remain operational and videos still record in stereo just fine.

I don’t normally bother with reviews (got too many other things to keep me busy) but felt that this product was so good I was compelled to write this one. After making the bold decision to jump in & buy the best value for money smartphone available anywhere in the OnePlus 3, protection was high on my agenda so after researching my options this Nillkin case seemed an okay purchase but after matching the phone & case together I have to admit that I am seriously impressed.

The case is really well made, robust & snaps on with a fitment that feels like the two products came from the same factory. It is genuinely a perfect fit but at the same time minimalistic so adds no real bulk.

Access to all the ports & buttons is spot on & their is no danger of it falling off or becoming loose because it is so well engineered. Oh & it looks really good too! I have bough this case twice now. The first time after a couple of months, the second time after a couple of weeks the buttons on the side of the case to be able to block the phone / change the volume break off, very annoying- This basically makes the case useless.

So let’s say don’t buy this.

My one previous encounter with Nilkin occurred when I needed a cover for my Kindle Paperwhite. The solution was light, stylish, minimal yet protective. I wanted something similar for my new phone. Given the slim design of the handset, many covers don’t appear to preserve this, going for bulky bumpers or unwanted functionality (e.

g. flip cover). The Nilkin case was the perfect solution: protection without a compromise in looks. I got a more expensive Spigen cover at the same time and haven’t used it, which is testament to the quality of this product.

My only complaint is that it seems to trap pocket lint and dust along the edges, but this is easily shifted. Recommended.

I got this for my girlfriend since her Otterbox just fell apart. This is nicely comparable to my UAG case, although I doubt it will perform as well with falls. The case does give a bit when you press the sides without the phone in it and the rubber does show some separation which worries me about fall protection over time.

The buttons are easy to press with this case and the rear stand is great for those who enjoy watching videos on their phone.

Nice case and I like how slim it is compared to other cases. Where it falls short is how it protects the outer edge of the screen. The top and bottom stick up slightly above the screen which is good because it keeps the screen from touching when you set it on counters and stuff.

However, this is not the case on the sides and if you set the phone on something more narrow than the length of the phone you will not have coverage. This is also the case if you it on something that can hit the side edge of the screen.

Had it had the same protection all around the case I would be keeping this case.

I returned it. I like the color, but the case started losing color on the corner and you could see white. This case sells for $30, but found similar ones for half the price. It did fit the phone nicely.

I like the feature of the metal ring as a stand, but leaves your phone imbalanced since it’s raised past the actual cover and sits on center of phone. Also, because of the ring, phone is not able to charge wirelessly which means having to plug it in instead of laying it on charging pad in car.
