20 Best Cases For S7 (2022 Updated)

I’ve always used Otterbox Defender cases. They work great to protect your phone from all kinds of stuff. But, get this! I’m walking my dog listening to a podcast with my wireless earbuds, and I have to cross a busy street where I need to jog across.

I didn’t realize until my ear buds beeped that I was out of range of my phone. It had fallen out of my pocket on that busy street! I just knew it was toast. I see it in the road, face down, run to grab it, and it looks.

fine. Maybe a car didn’t run over it. But then I see dusty tire tread marks on the back and realize it did get run over! And the phone still worked!! Not a scratch on it and the only marks on the case were on the front edges of the interior plastic part of the case where the car had pushed it into the pavement.

And you can barely even see those. Long story long. this case is UNREAL! It survived a car running over it! Buy it. If you have a phone, buy it. Your phone will never be safe without it.

I’m very disappointed with this purchase. When I originally purchased an Otterbox case for my cellphone it included an outer rubber protector which had tabs enabling pressure on the corresponding tabs on the phone.

When this purchase arrived I was stunned to find that I cannot use the phone in the case because the outer protector was not included. At the price, it was ridiculous to omit this indispensable component, and I can’t find the necessary item among products offered on Otterbox’s website.

Without it, the purchase is useless and a complete waste of money. Otterbox absolutely should have disclosed the necessity of having the missing component. I regret this purchase.

I really like this case over all, though dust sometimes gets in and onto the screen under the screen cover through the gabs over the sound/front-facing camera/ LED light window. Otherwise, I have no issues with this case.

It’s much lighter and less bulky than previous defender cases I used on past phones and I like the colors (they’re true to the online colors). The screen cover is not glass, but feels like something between a glass and very high-quality non-glass screen protector.

I think because it is not attached directly to the screen and is attached to the case, it is a bit more durable. Previous models have made it impossible to use most wires and plugs, as the design was not conducive to allowing easy charging or access to headphones (remember the ones that had a screw-in cap?).

I also believe that the previous versions had thinner material connection between the case itself and the attached cap covering the charging port. This version has fixed both those problems. There are fewer detachable parts and better, thicker connections between the caps/covers and the case which leads me to believe this one doesn’t run the risk of losing pieces.

I also like how much easier it is to press the buttons, as formerly these types of cases would require a long fingernail and/or a hammer to change the volume. I do worry slightly that the soft portion of the case will come loose at the bottom and flap about over time, as after a week it is already slightly separated from the hard portion of the case.

However, this is to be expected with the caps at the bottom messing with the rigidity of the form. Will update in a few months. Overall, it is a very intelligently designed, highly-improved, protective case.

Not waterproof, but my phone is, supposedly and I don’t plan on swimming with it. 🙂 I recommend it to anyone worried about their screen breaking and don’t want to keep replacing glass screen protectors.

This case is really crystal clear. Fits perfectly, keeps phone safe and you can barely see it. Doesn’t make the phone really thick either, like most cases. Don’t hesitate. Buy one. You won’t be disappointed.

Love this case, but what would make this case absolutely perfect would be a little kickstand to set it up while i watch videos. I can do without the stand, because the quality of this case is worth every penny! It came with a built in screen protector, which was nice, but made it look smudgey with my already installed screen protector, and didnt cover the area where the front camera and ear speaker were.

Not a problem, the screen protector comes off with careful hands, and i was able to use my own. However, i dont know if it would be possible to install this case if you have a glass screen protector, if youre into that sorta thing.

You wouldnt need it anyway with this case though. Would def buy again, for the price, cant beat it.

Very nice case. Came earlier than expected. If you ask a question they are very quick on responding. The only thing is a little difficult to get phone out of belt clip due to its slim design but extremely nice case would highly recommend I would buy again from them.

The case is very slim, solid, and easy to hold. The holster also seems to be well made. However, it would have been better if the top and bottom pieces weren’t already put together in the box (hard to get them apart without being attached to a phone).

Also, there is no built in kick stand on either the case or the holster (and it is too slick to prop up against other objects). Lastly, even though the up and down volume buttons work well, the power button is very difficult to depress (possibly designed to avoid accidental activation).

I bought this iPhone 13 Pro Max otter box case with the built in pop socket about 2 weeks ago. What I have found so far about what I do not like about this case is that this case is way too slippery on the sides, with my man fingers the pop socket is hard to get my fingers wedged on to pull it out, and the pop socket I feel is already getting loosened.

What drew me to purchase this is Otterbox’s reputation from my iPhone 11Pro+(now called max) which Otterbox made a very nice sturdy and rubber edged case with a clear back that was perfect and this just is not the case anymore and otterbox doesn’t make this same case for the 13 which is a huge disappointment! The main thing that drew me to this case was the way it looked.

So if you want a case that looks bad “cool” only, then this is your case. But if you are like me and I use my phone about 7 hours a day for my business as a Realtor, then the “use” or practicality is just not here with this case.

Oh and when using it in my car attachment, the pop socket sticks out a bit and I don’t have a firm hold on my car clip. This case is way too slippery in my hand and when setting it down. This case makes the phone slide like it’s on ICE.

Overall I would rate this a 5 out of 10 because it is a hard case so you have that protection and as I said it looks cool (I used a word for butt to describe its coolness factor but your system flagged it for profanity and just wow now how crappy you are now by not allowing us to tell how we feel and you hounding us for a review, now I’m OFFENDED!) now I’ll give your company a 2 out of 10 for this restriction as well as I was going to offer you my willingness to help you design a better case but no, I hope you go out of business for these policies you are putting in place and not wanting the TRUE FEEDBACK from your loyal customers, how weak and sad that you can’t handle our feedback) but the $60 price tag, no rubber sides for gripping, and oh it’s very difficult to get the phone in and out of the case it simply is not what I was looking for in a case for my thousand dollar phone.

Added to which the sad fact that Apple and Otterbox do not work together and do not have sufficient cases in store to chose from and now a subpar product is absolutely what I feel will put Otterbox out of business soon and make a lot of past and loyal customers such as myself no longer loyal and simply that, a past client.

Hey Otterbox who is designing your garbage now? This is just absolutely horrible that I had to order this from you and wait about 10 days until the case arrived and had an unprotected phone. To avoid the rigamaroll of a return it will be easier for me to just sell this to someone else and get a more practical cheaper rubber coated siding case.

I have used an Otterbox case since I got my first phone in 2013 and have never looked back. My most recent purchase was a case for my iPhone 12 in 2021 when I upgraded from my iPhone X where I also had an Otterbox case.

This specific case is one that I enjoy because it is not as bulky, and it can fit in my pocket nicely. Even though the case is not as big, it is still protective and holds great on my phone. Something else I enjoy about the case is that no matter the design of the case, it does not affect how protective the case is.

The same level of protection is shown throughout the designs and with so many options, there is something for everyone. I drop my phone a lot and it sometimes will fall off my bed, but no matter how many times it falls, there is never a scratch or crack on my phone and case.

I have had the case since I bought the phone and over time the sides started to turn black, but I do not mind it because of how protective the case has been. I recently had to replace the original case that I bought because the bottom rubber started to come off, but I went online and was able to replace it and only pay the cost of shipping.

I love that the cases have a warranty on them because not everything is going to last forever even a phone case. I would recommend the product because of the wide variety of options that they have. Even though the price is a lot for a phone case, the price shows in the final product.

The case is protected and when I had a different branded case and dropped my phone once, it shattered the back screen, and ever since then, I have not taken off my otterbox case. I would recommend any Otterbox case to anyone who is looking for a new case that is protective and not too heavy where it feels like you are caring a brink in your pocket.

I ordered this case because it was literally the only one available in the store and there were only two left and it was a holiday sale weekend. So I wanted to beat the rush to get a good price so I placed an order online for store pick up.

The sale price was about the only decent thing about it. I definitely would’ve picked up something else had there been anything that fit my phone and featured MagSafe. So the good is that it fits decently well.

The volume buttons are very tactile however the power button is a little mushy and soft. It has MagSafe. That’s the end of the good points. Now the bad points. Even without a screen protector there is very little screen lip.

Throw on a screen protector and it’s almost flush with the screen. Same thing with the cameras. The amount of space between the screen and cameras and a flat surface is literally the thickness of a sheet of notebook paper.

A decent size grain of sand would make contact with either surface. There is absolutely no grip on the back of this case. It is literally a slick piece of plastic. The fingernail-thick groove that goes around the edge of the case is not a grip.

The bottom rubber area near the charging port, speakers and mic is somewhat floppy. I see that deforming in a matter of weeks. Outside of that it’s just your basic black unattractive no personality plastic case with minimal protection on the front and rear and very little protection on the corners.

You can see that from how tightly it fits on the corners of the phone, that there are no air pockets. I highly doubt this is a very protective case outside of scratches from inside your pocket. I can definitely say that the full price for this case is insane.

This is going to go back immediately as I sit here in the parking lot writing this review. I’ll hit up the five and dime store for a temporary five dollar case until I can find a suitable case in value and quality.

This is the second one of this exact protective cover that I’ve purchased. The first one faithfully protected my phone for years. While wearing it, my phone was dropped on a hard gravel road in freezing temperatures.

My friend knocked my phone out of a top locker at Kings Island and let it fall 6 feet to the pavement. It was dropped a couple times on the hard garage floor and at least one other time I can remember on pavement.

I know there were some other minor drops on grass/dirt. The phone was never harmed. Eventually the case was damaged, but it had done its job. It was not available to purchase again in this design when I bought the next cover for my phone so I got same cover in blah white.

Still great protection. But, I was so happy to see this awesome pattern available again that I had to get it. Love it!!!!.

i’ve bought speck cases for the last 2-3 phones i’ve had. they’re consistently durable, reasonably priced (especially when on sale), and come in fun colors. i have this case for my current phone, the samsung s7.

for my previous phone, the s6, the case came with a matching screen protector that i liked; however, the candyshell cases for the s7 don’t seem to have the matching screen protector, which bummed me out.

regardless, the case is fun, slim but durable, and holds up well. there’s scratches on it after a while, but better the case than the phone! after all, that’s what it’s there for, right? will continue to buy speck cases so long as the quality doesn’t change.

This is the third speck case that I’ve owned and the only one that has let me down. I got this case because it looked really pretty with my gold s7 and because my other speck cases lasted for years. It has successfully protected my phone when it has fallen, but after having the case for less than 6 months the hard plastic is cracked in two places and the rubber edges around the screen of the phone are starting to peel away from the plastic shell.

The thing is falling apart! I’m going to need to replace it soon because I don’t trust the integrity of this product. My other cases lasted me years, but for this one to fall apart in such a short amount of time is seriously disappointing.

I give it 2 stars because it has done its job so far, but I don’t trust it to continue doing its job given its obviously inferior construction.

I cannot live without an otterbox for my phone, I can drop my phone multiples times in 1 week, I don’t know how people survive without it. I buy them when I purchase a phone religiously and have purchased them for family members, as much as phones cost these days and the cost to get insurance, the Otterbox is well worth every penny.

I have had my last cell phone for just under 5 years thanks to Otterbox. My cell phone still looks brand new when I take it out of the case. You will not regret purchasing the Otterbox, also love the holster clip that comes with it.

So convenient to clip to your jeans, visor or seat belt to make it hands free in the car. This one was especially great as it included a plastic screen protector that was attached to the otter box negating the need for a screen protector and worked so well since it was attached.

Wish they would not have changed the design on the newer models, but still will always purchase one with any phone.

This is a very good quality case, I’m quite pleased with it. I love the fact that the case does not prevent it from being used on a wireless charger, it also works with Samsung pay. This may seem like a common feature however, I’ve had cases in the past that were not Samsung products and I would have to remove the case anytime I wanted to use Samsung pay or charge it wirelessly.

Another thing I like is that of course, it fulfills it’s main purpose of protecting your galaxy but it also does not take away from the beautiful look of the phone, in fact, it adds to it’s beauty. The chrome-like gold color on the edge really adds a final touch of elegance.

On top of that, it is not cheap paint that easily chips away which is a huge plus. Overall, as stated previously, this is a very good quality case, I highly recommend this.

I’ve dropped my phone numerous times with this case. I even have a chunk out of the bottom right corner of the case because of the drops. It’s been dropped face down, on the side, and on it’s back. My phone is still in perfect condition.

Best case you can own when comparing the cost, lightweight, and durableness of cases. The only con is the backside of the case will scratch easily and it will show since it’s a clear case. But not a big deal.

This case for the Galaxy S7 Edge fits perfectly. It still shows the gold color of my phone and there is no problem accessing the edge feature. It’s easy to take off and on and will also work with a screen protector.

It seems pretty durable. The gold one I got is clear with gold edges. It’s definitely worth the money to get a case that fits so well and will protect your phone. I’m so glad I bought it. I don’t have anything bad to say about it.

The protective case is great and gives me confidence. The in built screen protector,whilst not preventing touch screen functioning,is slightly opaque outdoors and not entirely flat which reduces screen visability.

This gives the productca slightly cheaper feel to what is otherwise a robust case.

I really like it, i always go with the otter box. But wanted to go with something smaller. It has great full protection and is noticeably slimmer in every dimension. I prefer it over the otter box. The back plate is a little slick.

But overall i will buy another one. Definitely recommend. Only paid like $15.

Two family members purchased these cases and have really good luck with them. My wife decided to get this instead of the otterbox due to the fact that the skin of the otterbox stains easily cause of the pink rubber excepting dark pigments.

She got the blue one and is really excited about the protection and the durability it offers. I am an otterbox believer and am thinking on ordering one for my next case.

Case seems to be of the same quality as the previous case that I had on my previous phone for 3 years. Fits just as tight and it looks like the only change is where the power and volume buttons ate easier to push since they now have two slots and are not solid like before.

I like this but time will tell if this new design will hold up to years of use. Got lucky that I did not accidentally order the “+” version of this case as it would not have worked with the mounts that I already have without an adapter I would not have know I needed.

I would say that is would be better if that was better described for those of us who are familiar with the old cases and just order a new one, not knowing there was a change. Likewise if I knew there was a new version I may have explored that option and may have gone that way and bought a few of the other accessories.

The issue is that when I am on a ride I like to remove the phone several times to take photos. The issue that happens constantly is that the attachment piece on the phone will rotate after a one elease.

This renders the connection useless for the rest of the ride until I can get back to the house and use their 3 prong device to rotate it back. I should not be expected to bring this device on short rides nor stop to fix a re-occurring error.

This is not a user error but a product flaw. I reached out to SP connect about this and they told me to use the 3 prong device and they sent me a new case that does the same thing as the last. I do not feel like they listened to the actual issue.

This does not solve the problem and because of this flaw I cannot recommend the product.

I have three SP connect phone cases: one for an Samsung S10E, one for Apple iPhone 8, and one for my brand new Samsung S22 Ultra. With a stem mount on my bicycle I was riding with my new Samsung phone connected and had a fall in which my phone was ejected from the holder and hit the concrete.

It hit a corner of the SP connect case and a large gouge went through the case and left the phone corner damaged quite a bit. I will never put a phone on a mount like this again when phones cost over $1k.

My phone will go in a sealed cargo pack with padding. I invested a lot in SP Connect and without a small accident I would have assumed I made the right decision. My “insurance policy” failed. At least my phone still works.

Basic protection but well built and in line with the design style of the s7. Only gripe is the top and bottom surfaces and edges are a little unprotected. Looks and feels nice.

Provides a good front lip so that if laid screen down it stands off from surface. Corners are good and buttons unhindered. Recommended.

This is the best case for s7 edge, fit is tight and look and feel is high grade. If you were iphone user before, this is the case just like a apple genuine leather case at the apple store. Shipping was also not bad.

This case gives a bit of protection to your phone ,not as a flip case of course. I am not a fun of glass backing so this case gives a nice , premium feel and look to the s7edge. The corners at the bottom of the phone aren’t rise up as the top ones so the bottom is not protected.

Overall I am happy with this case.

The protective case is thin, lightweight and a perfect fit for the phone. I particularly like that they cutout the volume and on-off buttons instead of covering them.

This holster and case combo is substantial but it is difficult to extract the phone from the holster and tricky to get it back, especially if the locking plate at the top of the phone slides out of place, as often happens.

It is a good thing that the case is drop-proof, since the phone is likely to fall out.

This is a strong case and does a good job protecting the phone. It is large (thick) though and takes up room. Eventually, the spring clip broke off the rear cover and made it useless to me.

These reiko holsters used to be great till they started putting holes in the bottom clip in area so that you could charge it while in the holster. Now they break after only a few days.

I have had this brand of case for my last three (3) Samsung Galaxy phones. They are easy to put on/take off, easy to holster, and the flip stand on the back is a nice feature. As long as you don’t drop it, you should be fine.

This case is more about functionality for carry than it is for protection. On the S7 edge, the rounded glass edge is exposed to a drop. There is no way around it. Drop it on its face and it WILL be cracked.

But overall it is a great case for everyday carry.

I wanted the holster to be top loading not on the side. I didnt2 pay close enough attention because it looks exactly like my top loader so i glued my old holster together and only use the case from this one.

Fits well. Versatile. Can be used with or without holster. Very pleased. Great price.

I really like this case, phone is completely protected, but is not water proof. Very stylish, gives phone a whole new look. Screen protector works great, no issue with touch screen, all buttons work perfect too.

So far case has been durable, does not come apart when dropped, finish is holding up as well. The back panel does have to be removed for wireless charging, not a big deal though, snaps on/off real easy.

Good quality material. Product is sturdy. Its definitely built to protect your phone. Product is considerable more expensive versus other protective cases but you get your money’s worth. Ask yourself is a $5 or $10 stylish cheap case worth the cost of fixing a cracked screen because your phone was dropped and your cheap case failed and cracked along with your screen.

I have a Samsung Galaxy 7 Edge. I hate the rounded edges for only one reason, the screen protector does not fit securely around the edges leaving debris under the lifted sides of the protector. Gross! I bought this case to get rid of the unsightly screen protector and have a phone that I love again.

I love the case. Fits snug and secure as well. Would highly recommend!.

This cover is great! It keeps you phone completely dry while still allowing full functionality. It also seems to prevent glare even in bright sunshine. We summer on an island with lots of foggy mornings, so I got this to keep the moisture out.

I really challenged it when my husband and I got caught in a downpour on a long bike ride. My phone was fine and his got wet and he had trouble charging it when we got home. He immediately ordered one for his phone.

The fit on his phone was fine even though he doesn’t have the SP connect case. My one small quibble is that the case muffles the sound on my phone.

Fits phone very snugly. Buttons easy to press. Face ID works and screen is mostly responsive to touch. Pattern of raised clear dots keeps cover raised off of phone touch screen for clarity and can only been seen when looking at white screen.

There are no holes for side buttons, ear speaker or microphone or for charging. Qi wireless charging doesn’t work through SP Connect case. Still happy with the purchase. It will keep phone dry and that is the purpose.

Easy to put in and take off before and after use in wet, or dusty weather.

Two things, love the SP case and mounting system. This rain weather cover traps water even in light rain. I had one S21 ruined, got the dreaded wet warning with access to USB charging blocked. My second phone was saved as I tried the case again and spotted water build up.

Still got the warning on the phone but fortunately it dried out. Most phones shed light rain well, you’re better off without this cover or placement of you phone elsewhere if things get really wet. I might just remove some material or punch so holes in the bottom or corners to stop water from pooling in the case.

This is my second Sahara case for a Samsung Tablet. The last one did thrill me but did it’s job, mostly drop protection. The buttons over the tablets volume controls never matched up. The new one is awesome, the buttons match up extremely well.

Everything fit, clicked together easily. Makes it easy to hold. Use the kickstand constantly to watch St. Louis Cardinals games. I like this case a lot. Only draw back for me, and the cover for the power port is extremely well done, absolutely covers the port, but it makes it hard to plug the power cord in.

May cut it off? Other than that, this thing is awesome!.

This case is great. My tablet is able to survive the destruction of a 6 yr old and 9 month. They have dropped it from the kitchen island, yettted the thing off the couch, and to my surprise this Galaxy Tab S7 FE has lasted this long including the case.

Nothing is broken and works fine. Aslo i took a heat gun to the protective screen cover on the case because i have a glass screen protector, and the two just didn’t feel good.

Exchanged for case without strap. Even though it’s much more rugged, trying to install it nearly earned anyone within striking distance a throat punch. 😉 Plan on having Geek Squad put it on before leaving the store.

Also, identical cases are available for 1/3 the price.

I’m not happy with the built in screen protection. It’s plastic. and it’s not taught. It’s bubbled up from the screen. I bought the bundle package with the glass screen protector, not knowing the case has a flimsy plastic screen protector built in, that I can’t remove.

I haven’t put on the glass yet, but did open the box to use the wipe before installing the case, to ensure proper fit. The box is fairly oversized for the glass screen protector, which allows it to bounce around in the box.

The advertisement that came in the box, also shows many different colors and a shoulder strap version. when I wasn’t offered, nor saw any other color than black on the website. Would of loved to have actually been able to choose a different color.

The hand strap is. ok. It has to be loosened up quite a bit, in order to use the kickstand. I was given a small booklet of instructions for iPad installation. when I have a Galaxy Tab S7 plus. The blue tool that looks like a guitar pick, has no placement anywhere, which makes it easy to lose.

Overall outer shell is much like an oversized otter box and makes the power and volume buttons easier to press, which I absolutely love. Just heavily disappointed in no color choice, strap option, and the flimsy built in screen protector that isn’t removable, so I can just use the tempered glass instead.

Well its got its few pluses and a few more major fails. I like the outside hard plastic case covering the back and sides. Little difficult to get the case locked in place but once I got it was easier after that.

Also loved the 360 rotating design it makes holding the A7 do-able for reading without making you holding it with both hands which is really a downside for me because I purchased mainly for reading. Now for the fails – The outside “dust protector” which covers your screen is blue which makes it as though your using the blue light constantly.

It also has a grainy look to the screen now which is DEFINATELY a loss especially after it takes away from the better resolution of the Tab A7. There are fingerprints on dust protector and a black speck right in the center of the screen that I can not remove.

The dust protector also has a small space between the screen and it which causes a tapping sound when you hit the keys. Also in the directions it mentions how to put on shoulder straps but apparently this is b bought separately because it wasn’t anywhere in my packaging.

I’m Extremely disappointed in both this case and my Tab A7 I really hate to make another return but either are what I expected.

Not too good. There are striations in the protective glass. You see a prismatic rainbow hued glare, looks like translucent wallpaper design. Makes it tough to enjoy an old movie without reminding me of those plastic vacuum tube screen covers they used to make for black and white (from many years ago) to give the illusion of color TV.

It is not clinging flush to the screen just like those screen covers of old. if you, like me, keyboard using the screen instead of a tablet wireless keyboard, it totally can compromise your touch. Careful keying stuff in.

slows one down. It is rugged only in the back. Very rugged. Good for if you have to use it up a mountain somewhere.

Had 2 different cases break on me within the span of a month, both in the same spot where the hard plastic is thin near the volume button on the S22. The only reason I didn’t go with a single star is because I found the customer support to be very helpful after the first case broke, which they had replaced for free.

Unfortunately though, I think the designers/engineers need to go back to the drawing board and I’ll be switching to a different brand.

Pros – The clear cover Really shows off the phone and adds a glimmer and shine. I have had a few drops and it has protected the phone as expected. Love the metal buttons, much easier to press then the normal molded plastic.

Would buy again and would recommend to a friend. Very good buy. Cons – Shows the super tiny dust partials under the cover.

The case itself has a decent design so it reveals the design of your phone. The problem is getting the case off withoughy breaking it. I tried removing it to clean the back of my phone and it completely cracked.

Plus, the screen protector doesn’t cover the whole screen :(.

Doesn’t add a lot of size to the phone but it is a good solid case and it wont slip out. I got the clear/clear and it lets the color of the phone show through. It has rubber corners to soften the blow if its dropped.
