20 Best Cases Galaxy S6 (2022 Updated)

The weak point is the grip clasp. It sticks out a little and can get snagged. I’ve lost 3 to this quirk, but in all fairness the snags were pretty hard. I’ve also had my phone several years, and and the cases seem to last about a year.

I have no complaints for the price. The case is rugged and unobtrusive. Not an attention-getter but very functional. I love the built-in screen protector and wish more cases offered this. No issues with touch or visibility due to the protective film.

I swore by Otterbox until I found this one, and cannot say I’m disappointed. I actually like it better because it’s slimmer and the price is a no-brainer for the quality.

There are plenty of phone cases on the market these days. For all I know, it could be the very industry that’s driving the economy. So no matter what your taste and budget, there’s a case that’s just perfect for your phone.

For some phones, designing the perfect case isn’t particularly difficult. Choose a level of complexity. defender type multi layer, hard polycarbonate shell with rubberized finish, TPU skin. fabricate your parts and voila’, youre in the phone case business.

This seems to be especially true for iPhone and Samsung products; pretty much anything from the exotic to the mundane will get you where you want to go. But a VERY few phones are. well, different! The Edge would look stupid in an Otter Defender, whose clunky lines would entirely conceal the Edge’s sexy curved screen and case lines.

On the other side of the market, The Galaxy S6 Active, a uniquely stylish heavy duty ‘military grade’ phone with its vaultlike caseback, reinforcing rivets, shockprotecting corners, and side grip enhancements deserves something with a lot more panache than a matte black TPU skin.

It deserves a case that enhances its battlefield ready aura even further, accenting ALL of its original design and contours. It deserves a case that almost doesn’t look like a case at all, but the macho MIL-STD-810 shock hammer tested, waterproof, immersion proof, weather , sand, and mud proof beast underneath.

It deserves THIS case!.

I am a contractor and need better than average protection for my phone without it becoming much bulkier and this fits the bill. I have had it for about a month now and am very pleased. It is made exactly for the note 5 and the front and back pieces of the case fit so well together I have difficulty getting them apart.

The front piece is hard plastic with a clear plastic screen protector, the back has a stiff rubber rim that wraps up around the front piece and mates it perfectly, you cant tell it isn’t one piece. The phone then mounts in the clip with the screen facing the holster to give it the protection you are looking for.

I have had a similar set up with the otter box which is ok but in my opinion this is nicer because it does not have the bulk. it makes your phone about twice as thick and 5/16″ larger width and height, much less than the otter box.

Don’t get me wrong the otter box will likely give you better protection if you like to throw you phone but if you are looking for good protection and a way to carry you phone so it isn’t falling out of your pockets or getting sat on this is the way to go.

It is well worth the money. the holster is also made very well and I believe it will last a long time. the clip rotates firmly and keeps the phone in whatever position you wish. I suspect the plastic screen protector is what will cause a problem first as over time it will likely get marred up but when it does I just plan on removing it from the front piece and let the glass protector I have on the phone do the work it was meant to.

Go ahead and buy it! you wont be disappointed, it is quality!.

I purchased this case at a local store when I first bought my phone around 2 years ago, and was very skeptical at first. Most pretty cases don’t offer a lot of protection but I can say that this case has been fantastic.

Having a 3 year old, my phone has been chewed on, drooled on, dropped, and thrown down the isles at the grocery store but it’s still in perfect condition. I really can’t say enough about the quality of case mate! Of course there are some scratches and wear along the edges but they’re hard to see and the case has held up so well considering everything it’s been through.

I just recently upgraded to the 12 pro max and ordered one of the rifle paper company cases. Here’s to hoping it holds up as well as this one has!.

The case broke in one fall from 3 feet. I had one week. The plastic is cheap around edges of the phone. This almost seems like a fake. I had the same style case before. And was made much better. With silicone insert and durable shell.

This was not as nice. Dont recommend this case.

I love this case!! I had the original one that I bought when I got my phone 3 years ago and I never really liked it, but it sufficed. I recently took the case off my phone and realized that my case of 3 years had a crack in it.

Thus, the new case. I love it. It fits my Google Pixel 2 XL perfectly. I like the gripso much better than the old case and it is so much prettier, making my phone look brand new. I accidentally dropped my phone today while I was shopping.

It landed on the cement flooring. When I picked it up it was as if it had never fallen.

Fits (almost) perfectly. The bottom holes are just a tiny bit off, but they are ok. They do have flip open covers on the bottom holes which aren’t necessary and actually get in the way, but I cut it off and now it’s fine.

There are button covers for the power switch and volume control and they work very well. I had a more expensive similar cover from another brand I bought at bestbuy and the button covers were so stiff, they didn’t really work, and I ended up having to cut them out, which was a real pain.

This cover is excellent, and the price can’t be beat. I’m glad I got this.

Very happy with this protective case for my phone, it’s very durable.

Obviously less protection offered than the full fledged defender case, but, the alpha glass provides a nice protection for the phone’s face. Pros: Cheap. Strong. Slim. Overall a great product for the price.

Cons: Hard to press buttons (could prevent mispressing at least). Screen protector will not cover the very edges of the screen like the defender’s plastic shield would. No dust protection.

I love love love Otterbox brand! Yes, they are a little pricier than others but they stand the test of time. They keep your phone in mint condition, no matter how many times you’ve dropped your phone, threw it, flushed it, etc.

Their phone cases are heavy duty and are super effective at keeping your phone in one piece w/o any cracks, so they’re definitely worth every penny. They come in many different colors, sizes styles and have cases available that will fit/match mostly all androids iphones.

I had the exact same case before and after several years was looking for a replacement. I bought the exact same case. I love it. I’ve dropped my phone several times over the years and have no damage to my phone.

I purchased my phone case five years ago and it’s still keeping my phone safe. I dropped my phone shortly after purchasing it and cracked the entire back of the phone. Soon after, this case was in the mail and I haven’t had any new cracks since.

When my phone falls, I don’t panic; I don’t even flinch. It’s kept my phone from inevitable death on several occasions and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. I’d spend the money for this brand and style time and again for all of my future phones.

I had another Ballistic Case previously for another smart phone, and it provided two and a half years of protection. When I saw the same style case, but with a belt clip, it could only be better. So far, one drop from waist high, all is well.

It is rated to 7ft, but I don’t think that I want to test fate.

This is my second case from ballistic, and my second phone with a ballistic case. Tough and durable. Period. The holster beaking is my only complaint. Needs to be tougher.

Easy to place in the phone and so beautiful it seems as if it could be the phones casing. It doesnt cover the screen which would take away the view from the Samsung Edges screen. Great purchase.

I purchased this case maybe two months ago and half of the gold lettering has already fallen off the case. Now it looks like I use a fake and cheaply made Kate Spade phone holder. Not sure if this is authentic or not.

I have had Speck Candy Shells on my previous phones and I LOVE THEM. I drop my phone all the time on pavement, tile, hardwood, you name it I have probably dropped my phone on it. The candy shell has always protected it.

I just received my galaxy 6 and I wanted to make sure it was really safe ( no insurance on it) so I decided to try the new Mighty Shell. I was worried because I had not seen one in person. The case is not really that much larger than the candy shell (good).

It has a really nice feel to it. The back has a matte feel and looks like it will not get scratched up as the smoother shells. The rubber on the sides has a satin feel and is not sticky feeling (good).

The lip on the front protects the screen and the case on the back makes it so the camera on the S6 does not protrude. The phone feels really well protected and it looks great. I am really glad I purchased this case.

I will update my review after a few drops. I hope they come out with some more colors. I would definitely buy this case again.

To start, the phone case was everything I wished for. I bought this for my dad for Christmas and he loves it so much. I’ve always had a speck on my own phone and he needed one as well since it’s the one brand I trust.

Anyways the color and design is perfect, nice and smooth but not easily drop-able. Its also very slim so it doesn’t make the phone feel bulky whatsoever. The keys are all easy access and easily pushed, and the faceplate just makes it even better and more durable.

Bought this for my wife’s S6. She loves the colors and the feel. Not so much for the orange framing on the faceguard, because it interferes with pulling down items from the very top of the screen. I offered to cut it off, but she likes the color too much! I’ll be looking at these again when we get new phones.

The Evocel case for my Samsung G-6 fits perfectly. The plastic backing and clip attachment work flawlessly. The only problem (and it really is not a problem) is that the rubber casing is a just too soft.

When getting the phone out of pocket or off the clip holder the rubber just flexes and stretches out like a rubber band. Personally, I feel that the rubber should be a bit harder in consistency so as to prevent it from stretching every time one removes the phone from a pocket or the belt clip.

It is solid enough to protect my Phone. But I am not sure if it will tear with time. So far so good (after a couple of weeks). The card pocket is of no use for me, because I have about 20 Cards. The Colour is a bit pale.

I don’t dislike it, yet I cannot say that it is stylish. But I can live with it. For the price I have paid, it does serve its purpose. Overall, I am happy with it.

The s6 active stock white camo is ok, but this dotted grey and black case professionally gives it a boost of style & protection. Easy to slide on too. Nothing not to like. Maybe add fancy mettalic like colors as dots, but maybe that is just getting greedy.

I bought this case to replace the one of the exact same model that I bought when I bought the S6 phone 3 years ago. It has done an admirable job of protecting that phone ever since. However, it finally got damaged when I dropped the phone but it did its job and protected the phone.

The phone was not damaged at all, but the case was damaged. I liked this case so much that I wanted another one just like it.

It holds the phone snug and seems to protect it from everyday gentile use. I can wireless charge my phone without any problem and the case is fairly strong enough to hold up the phone with one hand. I love the wallet type of case, this was my first one.

The slot is just barely big enough to fit 1 credit card or a drivers ID. I tried putting in 2 items and the case didn’t close. I’ve had it for 2 weeks and so far the only part that is wearing is the fabric material around the ear piece, its getting fuzzy.

I love the clearance all the way around the phone and when you fold it back the phone looks like it is floating right on top of the case.

Arrived safe and pristine. My original one was worn out after years of use and shoving too many cards in the card slot, and I couldn’t find any replacement that fit the phone, had a card slot, and was a flip case without a closure (and also turned the screen off and on when opened and closed).

This is nice because it covers the screen of the phone to help prevent damage. It gets in the way of trying to turn up/down the volume buttons on the left side. It doesn’t stay closed and would nice if there was some sort of closure device: magnetic tab.

I love these cases! Got both colors during a sale and I think I am keeping both. The gold one you can see your phone logo through and the darker case you cannot see the logo through. They are both glittery but completely smooth to the touch like the clear cases; both are very sparkly in low light and sunlight.

They are classy without being loud and obnoxious. They also feel very secure on the phone and feel like they will protect the phone just fine. The other thing I love about speck cases is there is a nice buffered edge on the case where you rest your palms while typing with your thumbs.

This is super important with the edge phone because of the sensitivity of the edge screen. This phone case gives you someplace to rest your hands and I completely appreciate that. I have tried 4 other brands of cases and none worked like the speck cases.

Also, the case is very lightweight and doesn’t add any bulk to the phone. Now with this new glitter design, I have found the perfect case. The only thing I am waiting to try out is a temepered glass screen protector made by zedge.

I hope it will fit with this case. But if not, I can keep using my liquid application screen protector that this case works perfectly with and doesn’t lift the edges up. Very happy with the overall design! If they made more color options in the glitter I would buy them all!.

This is my first time buying a product from this company, so I was not sure what to expect. I have a few friends who own cases from this company and recommended them but they own iphones and not android phones.

Pros: Great clear case, the material seems very durable and I’ve already dropped it a few times and my phone is still okay. Its a good design and I specifically chose clear to be able to see the lovely blue coral color.

Cons: Two of the ten speaker holes are covered and may be a hindrance to those who actually use their speakers. The glue to the curved stylus plastic part of bottom right side somehow came out of place quite a bit since I got the case.

It’s yellowing in that corner and dirt is getting trapped underneath the corner in the glue and I’m quite unhappy about that. I am not sure what happened to cause that issue, whether its dropping the phone on that corner or whether the plastic somehow got pierced by something while shifting in my purse.

Overall, I’d still recommend this case. I think I just got unlucky with one of my corners :(.

First – it doesn’t fit. But maybe it was my mistake. We need cover for Galaxy S6 Edge +(!). A “plus” probably very important. Second – it wasn’t new.

It is very stylish & surprisingly durable. Of course given the style it would not do much protecting if I dropped my phone on its face with the flap open. But it’s doing pretty good guarding against scratches, spills & soft drops.

I really like it and it has good feaures. Protection is not bad but it get scratches so easy and makes it look terrible so its not durable.

Great case! Ordered during COVID and the holidays and expected huge delays. NOPE. They were on it and got it out the door super quick. The USPS on the other hand. grrr. They bounced it all over the country for over a week.

Luckily it came at the perfect time! An hr after putting it on my tablet, my cats got in a fight and knocked my tablet off our bar top. My heart was in my throat as I went to retrieve it. It was perfectly safe! No damage at all! Will definitely shop this company for future device cases!.

I found case assembly was easy. I like how the case holds the S Pen-very secure. I think if I drop my tablet it will be safe. I wish the screen protector laid more flush against the tablet glass. I would like it better if the velcro strap in the back was removable.

Throw it, kick it or shoot it from the balcony and this will protect your device. A very good value for such a tough cover.

I just purchased my new symmetry case for my new edge +. I have to say for the most part, it was exactly the quality that I was expecting from Otterbox. I would have preferred if there had been a front piece on the phone, like some of your other cover options for other phones, like the defender series, though I realize it may be due to the design of the phone and I have noticed that Otterbox is one of the few cases out on the market for this particular phone so far.

I just liked the added protection of a wrap around case, as it also helps keep the screen clean. But this is more preferential, than what I consider to be a design flaw. As far as the buttons go, I don’t seem to be having the same issue that some others are having regarding the buttons being hard to push with the case on.

I also appreciate that the case does not make the phone feel a lot bigger or more bulky. I recently switched from being an Iphone user to this phone, and the size, (not the bulk) has been a bit awkward to adjust to.

I am really happy that the case does not make the phone feel bigger or more bulky, as adding a case to a handset sometimes can. Otherwise, I think this is a get effort. Though, if you are able to develop something in the future, which would encompass the whole phone that would be great.

This is overall my 4 or 5 otterbox and I love how well they protect my handsets!.

I bought a new phone about a month ago and have been a Otter Box customer for years. I didn’t think twice about getting an Otter Box case for my new device. They’re expensive (especially when converted to CDN dollars) but worth every dime.

Ordering was easy and within a few weeks it was here. The case is great. Solid construction provides excellent coverage of the back and sides but NOTHING over the screen. There is nothing to stop the screen from getting scratched and that’s the most important part.

The case is designed so that if you drop your phone the screen stays off the ground but that only works on flat, level surfaces. In the end, it’s an expensive case that only covers half the phone. I’ve tried installing 3rd party screen protectors but the Otter Box fits so tight that they don’t really work.

It is what it is.

I’ve had a number of Otterbox cases, and thought I’d give this a shot with my new S6 Edge+ phone. Sadly, after using it for 2 days, I’m returning it to Verizon. It offers great protection, no doubt about it.

However, it makes the buttons nearly impossible to use (both power and volume buttons). It takes so much effort just to press them, that I found myself using my phone less. It is also very slippery and is difficult to hang on to.

I’ve actually dropped my phone more with this case on than when I had nothing on. It’s big, and makes the barely one-handed phone now a definitely two-handed affair. I use Swype (one finger texting), and it’s impossible with this case on.

Lastly, $50 for a case is just crazy. I realize it offers good protection, but when most other cases made (Spigen, etc. ) are $20, it’s hard to justify the premium. I like the idea of protection on an $800 phone, but I hated this case.

I went with Spigen, and am much happier. Maybe next time Otterbox – you still make good products. Just not for this particular phone!.

This protector covers the corners and the back of the phone. It will do a good job in stopping screen contact if your phone hits on a corner or on the back. It will not protect the screen if the phone were to land directly on the screen side.

Love the clear case. The phone has a nice look and the clear case allows you to see the phone. It doesn’t cover it up. It protects the phone just enough and isn’t bulky. I’m definitely happy with my decision.

Nice light weight minimalist cover, but scratches very easily and because of the type of material the scratches are very visible. Of course the idea of a clear cover is to show off the beauty of the device, but that does not happen here.

I originally had a very expensive, plastic case (paid $35 at T=Mobile). I dropped it once, and a corner of the case broke off. I was hunting for a replacement case, and found this on Ebay. I had one similar to this in red for my Galaxy II Note, which I really liked, so I decided to purchase this one.

The price was so reasonable, I figured if it wasn’t very durable, I wouldn’t be out much money. I am so pleased with this. It is strong, durable, has hard rubber corners, and provides excellent protection for my phone.

I was surprised at the quality of the case, and would have gladly paid 3-4 times the amount charged. My more expensive case felt kind of flimsy & slick in my hand, but this case gives my phone a real feeling protection and strength.

It makes holding my phone feel much more secure in my hand. The red color is a dark red, and very elegant looking. I am way beyond pleased!! I think I will order another one in a different color. You will not be disappointed.

The first shipment went to the wrong state. It’s 2020, the shipment could have went to the wrong planet! This company made it right. A new case was received at the correct address. Case is easy to install.

Fits great! I highly recommend this seller!!! Battery life has nothing to do with this product.

In terms of protection, I’ve tried several different brands and models. Most were mediocre, huge or real garbage. This is the only one that offered good protection without enlarging the exterior dimensions of the phone X 2.

Vulnerable corners are well padded and protected. Outer hard shell distributes shock loads to a wide area of the inner, soft shell, thus reducing point of impact damage. Phone screen is recessed enough into the shell to be protected but without offering interference; note camera lens cut-out and front screen periphery.

Comparable to Otterbox Commuter at a fraction of the cost but offers prettier colors. My police buddies and I like the roses.

Tuff Hybrid cases hold up extremely well to unforeseen drops. This is the 2nd case I got with this style – I LOVE the textured back of this case. Didn’t expect it the 1st time I ordered it, but it was a grand surprise – I find it gives you more hold on your phone.

These cases can take a lot of damage and impact – totally worth the price.

I love the look of this protective case. I have a tendency to drop things. This is my second case, ordered exactly as the first one. I love the brushed metallic blue finish. It minimizes fingerprints and smears, and the color scheme looks very sophisticated and sharp.

The first case earned it’s value from the amount of times I dropped my phone. I cracked it, finally at the point where you plug it into the charger. But I love this case so much, I got another one and am happy about it.

After researching cases for the Galaxy s6 Active, discovered that there aren’t many cases available yet for this model. Purchased this one based on the fact that it had the protective screen built-in, seemed sturdy and the price was definitely good, compared to buying other cases and separate screen protection.

The fit is good & tight, went on easily. The color is really a really bright, coral-y pink rather than a true pink. That’s ok, because the color saved the phone within the first week, it fell out of a pocket.

We were able to find it right away because of the case. The phone and case survived a drop on a tile floor without a mark. The phone has a slim profile and was somewhat hard for me to hold on to. This case has some texture on the sides and does make it beefier, providing durability and protection.

The black rubber on the sides is hard, and doesn’t feel squishy or soft. The case is somewhat bulky, so it does not fit most ladies wallets and cell phone cases. Some review comments were made that the buttons were harder to press, which is true, but they’re also covered and protected, and the case does break in, so they become easier to push.

There is also a cover over the charging port, which keeps it clean and protected. If one is using earbuds, one would want to make sure the jack will fit completely into the port area. some do not. The screen protector openings fit the buttons of the phone very well.

Owned case for 6 months. Wishing I’d ordered two, since the pretty colors are out of stock now.

I bought this case because I got a new Galaxy S6 & I wanted to be able to protect it. So far, it has been really great. I love the color blue that I picked. I also put it to the test accidentally when it dropped onto the floor.
