18 Best Castle Clash Heroes (2022 Updated)

It’s a great looking castle which our 4yo son was very happy to receive and help build. BUT. it appears to have been designed without any actual game-play in mind – The “defence features” (catapult and drop-holes) shoot sideways; and the catapult blocks access to the internal dungeon door; and the trap-door cannot be reset without opening the dungeon, from the door on the OUTSIDE which is below a completely open side to the tower?? Very disappointing.

I bought this for my 7 year old son for his birthday and he loves it. A adult definitely needs to help build it as there are some parts to it. But once built is very sturdy. Comes with loads of pieces.

Wouldn’t expect anything less from play Mobil. Would definitely recommend.

Fun castle, my son loves playmobil Novelmore and this size castle is compatible with wall extensions we found out saving us space currently as he has a lot of Novelmore Playmobil to setup.

First of all, this Mega Construx set is huge. I knew from the piece count that it would be large, but the box is about two feet by a little over one foot. The presentation when you open it is beautiful.

There’s full color art on the inside of the lid, and a manual that’s nearly as big as the box. The pieces are separated into four numbered interior boxes that also have some nice black and white artwork.

The manual has huge pictures and more full color artwork. The instructions are pretty clear and use colored dots to help you align pieces where it might not otherwise be clear. Though I chose this mostly for my oldest child (11 1/2), it is such a big project that there was plenty to do for everyone.

In fact, the instructions are divided into five sections that can be built independently of each other, so I was able to give each kid a section to work on independently. (Anyone who has built any building block sets before knows that it’s often hard for more than one person to really build at the same time usually.

) There were a couple of places where the pieces were harder to attach for the littler girls, but considering the age rating, that seems completely expected, and it makes it more of a family project anyway.

There was good use of some rounded blocks mixed in with the squarer ones to give the walls texture, so that the lack of range in the appropriate wall colors (It is Castle Grayskull after all. ) didn’t feel too bland.

There were neat features to build (like a prison cell and a cannon on top of a tower) and lots of little details (plenty of weapons on racks and a very toothy drawbridge). The figures are colorful and detailed.

The quality has been solid. Bricks stick together as they should and the build is solid. Things don’t fall apart when you pick them up. You can safely carry it from one room to another without worrying about losing bits.

We’ve had the set for a couple of weeks now and still are not completely done building it. (I’d guess we’re about halfway. ) The kids keep going back to it, not getting bored with it as they sometimes do once the newness of a thing wears off.

They keep excitedly showing me the next neat thing they discover as they put it all together and make up stories to go along with the figures. They’ve enjoyed it immensely and I’m glad we chose it.

The good – Amazing details; Great presence; Long build; Gimmicks and Exclusive figures are really cool! The bad – Smaller than expected; Many (many!) tiny pieces to hit 3500; Some pieces missing (customer service sending replacements); This kit took me (adult collector) almost 2 weeks to build! It’s a fun built, and amazing to see how much detail MEGA managed to work in.

The nostalgia factor is great, duplicating all the cool stuff from the 80’s Grayskull set. The front gate on mine works great when the sword is used as a key. I like the selection of figures included, but wish they could all be a little more unique (He-Man & Skeletor look like all their other releases).

My big gripe – the product photos deliberately mislead – the brown roofs shown on the right are actually the BACK of the castle – the pictures show the castle ‘opened’, trying to make it look deeper than it is.

In the configuration shown, the castle forms an ‘L’ shape (hollow in the back). The overall built size is about 14″ wide by 9″ deep! (closed up), and about 13″ tall. And to get the details, MEGA used a myriad of tiny 1×1 pieces – which is how the part count is so high.

This is a really phenomenal set; the detail is incredible, and the way that it is constructed is very clever. The assembled playset has a lot of cool action features, and the pieces are of very high quality (lots of printed pieces, and no stickers).

The build itself was quite challenging — I would not recommend this for unassisted kids, as this is definitely targeting adult collectors. Grayskull is made of a LOT of small pieces, the sub-assembly instructions require a lot of attention to detail, and the tightness of the fit means that, occasionally, a fair amount of strength is needed to snap the pieces together.

The only downsides that I can think of are the paint on the figures, which is not great (looking at you, Beast Man), and the one or two places where pieces were so similar that it was very, very easy to confuse them, leading to some backtracking.

Still, these are minor issues considering that this was probably the most fun I’ve ever had assembling a construction set. Absolutely a must-buy! More like this, please!.

I remember seeing the Advanced Dungeons & Dragons advertised in comics back in the 90’s and thinking how awesome it looked. When I actually got the opportunity to play the game, I was a bit disappointed to find out that most of the game was pencil and paper work.

While this is great for people who had the time and imagination to come up with amazing scenarios, I wanted something a lot more visual and interactive. Enter the D&D Board Game series. These sets (including this one) take parts of the D&D world and put a board-game twist on them.

The game is a co-op game where it’s the players versus the game itself (so no more need for one player to always act as a DM). The game never plays the same way! There are several scenarios (and some new ones available online) that give you a different objective each time you play.

In addition, as you play the game, you place random dungeon tiles in the way you choose to customize your dungeon layout. Monster spawns are also random (though some are specified in the game for scenario objectives).

The game is not a pushover either, as it is very easy to have your team wiped out and fail the objective. Overall, it’s a great game that can be played solo, but is best played with a group of friends (gameplay usually lasts 1-2 hours) that will not get old anytime soon.

If you’re looking to capture that D&D fun without writing campaigns, designing dungeons, and coming up with the back-stories, then this game is for you.

Fantastic game! So addictive. I started playing solo to get the hang of it before playing with friends but I haven’t been able to stop adventuring. Absolutely love it.

This item is very fun and easy to play for people that like board games of any kind. Whether you want to kill a few hours or just spend a little time gathered around with your friends this game will do the trick.

The miniatures that come with the game are all color coded and represent the characters that they are sculpted after very well, both enemies and heroes alike. Mechanics in this game take only a little bit of reading and set up for a game is about five minutes.

When I first played with four other friends I read up on the rules and then walked them through their first turn. After getting comfortable with things the game took off and it was very laid back, team oriented and provided us a great way to spend an evening.

I would say this is a great buy for anyone that likes board games, regardless of if they are interested in other Wizards of the Coast products.

Legendary Marvel deck builder came out in 2012. Back then many Deckbuilding games came out. But this one was themed with the Marvel franchise. It stood out from the traditional Deckbuilding games by having Schemes.

Which work similar to objectives and revealing a certain number of twist cards made bad things happen. Your goal ultimately is to work as a team and prevent the Main Villain from completing his scheme.

The core box has a couple of each of the popular teams like xmen, avengers, shield and good starting villains like Red skull, Magneto, Dr doom and loki. The good: A solid Deckbuilding experience Cooperative Objective based scheme allows for different wining conditions A decent roster of heroes, henchmen, villains.

Lots of expansions. The bad: The art is mediocre. As a comic fan, with many purchases of Marvel fan items, I believe they could do so much better. Seeing 1 version of a card in 3 different background colours to distinguish them apart other than cost is very unappealing.

In other words plain and boring. Every game set up involves mixing what heroes you want to play, the villains you want to face, henchmen groups etc. So you got to shuffle all these in various decks. If you don’t shuffle well, well you can get the same hero, villain repeating the line up.

While set up is not as bad, the tear down is bad. For all the heroes, henchmen groups, etc, you will have to separate the cards into their respective group and then store away inbox. This takes the majority of time.

Although the core box has many heroes, the synergy is having cards that work well with each other. E. g. xmen only or avengers only. But if you randomly choose random heroes, this works against you as none of their abilites can help other cards or players and it will make the game difficult vs picking all xmen makes it fun and not too challenging.

I believe there was 8 schemes which provides some replability but not all are great and you 0ay just play 5 in rotation. The price is still expensive after 8 years roughly $50-55 off a retail of $60 Overall.

There is still no better deck building Marvel game. Other than Marvel Championships but that’s more of a card management since the deck is pre made so I won’t compare. Lots of replability with expansions and a good cooperative game.

I purchased this game based on all the positive reviews and since I like deck-building and the Alien movies. Note that I play the game solo. I played the first mission (of 4 missions, 1 for each Alien movie) 2-handed and absolutely loved it, even though I lost twice.

The theme comes through in a very strong way in this game. I am eagerly anticipating beating the mission and progressing to the next 3 movies. If you like the movies, and you like deck-building, I absolutely recommend it.

There is a random element to the setup and card shuffle and there are many characters to choose from, so i can imagine good replay value. Only negative is that you will need 2-3 hours sorting the cards once you open the box.

I recommend you put on your favorite Alien movie to get you in the mood while you sort the cards.

Marvel Legendary is quite fun, introducing simple but effective mechanics and I enjoyed the different scheme scenarios that come with the base. The characters in the base are also known characters, so I feel like that helps people who aren’t as familiar with Marvel get into the game.

That being said, the base game is what it is: a base game. Its not going to be crazy hard or made to be complicated initially. I appreciated the simplicity of the base game because it lets you get used to the basic mechanics of the game: how to combine hero abilities, how to get good synergy in your deck, and the concept of schemes/scheme twists/master strikes.

We lost a few times playing some of the scenarios in the base so it definitely is not a walk in the park by any means. Marvel Legendary at its core is a coop game between players (so if you have friends that prefer coop over competitive, give this a try!).

There is a victory point mechanic where you get points as you defeat villains/henchmen/a version of the mastermind and there are certain cards where you can force other players to draw or discard a card.

However, this doesn’t feel like a central mechanic strictly in terms of the base game plus a few expansions. (Other expansions will add the option of a player playing the mastermind with its own set of rules/mechanics).

Set-up is quick and easy, but the initial unboxing of the game was a bit tedious. My big complaint of the game itself is that the insert that it comes with isn’t very useful in helping you organize the cards.

They give you dividers that you can use to separate classes, but you don’t get any additional ones when you purchase the expansions. So for uniformity sake, I ended up just setting the dividers aside and trimming some index cards.

Once you get a system going though, set up and tear down go by quick. The artwork is awesome on all of the cards, I don’t really have any complaints there. Quality of the cards themselves are great too for the price.

That being said, we purchased the X-Men expansion and the Secret Wars Vol. 1 expansion and those added a ton of new heroes (got them both within a few days of each other, couldn’t help myself), a lot of new mechanics, masterminds, and schemes with new twists added! You also have the option to face an “Epic” version of certain masterminds if you want to up the difficulty even more.

We used the base game box to store the basic cards (troopers, agents, officers, schemes, masterminds, etc. ) and used one of the expansion boxes to store our heroes, villains and henchmen. The foam blocks came in handy as dividers between each set.

tl;dr: Fun base game with known heroes. Easy to learn, tedious to set up at first but quick after you organize. Schemes are fun, some are easier than others. Buy the expansions for more difficult schemes/masterminds.

Art is great, card quality is great. Box insert for game storage is not great. Worth picking up for an intro to deck builder games or if you know you will be interested in added mechanics from expansions.

The base game itself is a ton of fun. But in my opinion this expansion is a must have for any Marvel fan! Not only do you get the Fantastic 4 but you also get Silver Surfer which is a perfect set comic-wise.

We’ve played with just these heroes and then again with a mix of other heroes. We had a blast seeing what types of combos would come out as a result. Galactus is also a big challenge and so satisfying whenever you are able to defeat him.

The first small box expansion, this offers 5 new Heroes and 2 new Masterminds/Villains groups. PROS: – The play style on Mr. Fantastic (draw a bunch of cards). – Surfer is also fun to play with, with a lot of star generation that can then be turned into fight.

– Focus is a nice flexible mechanic, wouldn’t be surprised if we saw it again. – Galactus is one of the coolest Masterminds, period. This is another rare case where they made a Mastermind whos hard but you dont even mind because the effect is so cool.

Cons: – Not really any, though Invisible Woman has a thing where all of her cards except the ultimate cost exactly 4 and sometimes your HQ just feels like its full of 4s, so I dont love that. Masterminds don’t get any cooler than Galactus, so his presence alone is worth picking this up.

All of the Heroes are well-designed, and the “spare” Hero, Silver Surfer, isn’t even a throwaway character. Highly recommend.

Hero Realms is another great deckbuilder from the same company that produced Star Realms, and if you have played Star Realms its super easy to pickup this game. Unlike Star Realms this box plays 2-4 as opposed to just 2.

Gameplay is fairly simple, you use card values and powers to buy more cards from the market and work to dispatch your opponent with attacks. While there can be a lot of text and iconography with a little patience its fairly easy to pick up.

Winning on the other hand well that can be tough for some people, especially me. The art is very good but can be a bit on the creepy side, the card quality is excellent and the the packaging is thick and heavy.

All in a all a really nice game.

Hero Realms is extremely fun and surprisingly easy to get the hang of. I find that it is pretty much Hearthstone but with actual cards and I really like that. It requires you to think a few turns ahead and consider what your opponent may do, but with luck thrown in as well.

Even my mum loves this game.

This is a fantastic deck builder, along the same lines as Star Realms. I enjoyed the hero fantasy theme much more than the sci fi and the art is amazing. Again in hero realms, I prefer the layout of the cards and the iconography.

Its not that star realms was bad but hero realms felt easier on the eye. Almost identical game play, this is a fantastic quick deck builder for two.

DO NOT let the lack of power name heroes in this expansion discourage you. The villains and masterminds alone make this small box well worth. Mysterio and Carnage are the biggest breathes of fresh air as they don’t need really high damage numbers to be difficult like Apocalypse.

Instead, they either do a lot of damage to your deck (Carnage) or they just won’t die (Mysterio). Combine with some of the included schemes and you get some nasty combinations that either the douche bag will win as he’s the only one playing for points, he’ll make everyone lose (as he was only playing for points), or you’ll throw in the towel and just play co-operatively.

The “Wall-Crawl” mechanic isn’t too bad. It allows you to purchase hero cards with that keyword to the top of your deck versus to your discard pile. With a handful of those cards also involving card draw/deck manipulation as part of their standard play, you can come up with some interesting turns.

Keep in mind, you are also flipping over new hero cards when you buy those so you can really “stack you deck” next turn or even your current turn. I feel several of the other small box expansions get more credit then they deserve due to the name recognition attached (Looking at you Guardians of the Galaxy and Fantastic Four).

If you are more into interesting play and don’t mind having second string but competent heroes on the table, this is the small box for you. Note for older fans: The villains get the feel for old Maximum Carnage environment, but they didn’t exactly go for the heroes involved there.

You’ll have to mix and match from all sorts of sets if you are wanting to put that hero roster together.

YES!!! legendary has so many add ons and different iterations that its easy to brush it off as a game that has been pushed into monotony. however, you would be wrong. the deck building game isn’t only fun to play, but its definitely one where you need some skills to be able to actuality beat it.

once you get this game, be warned that you’ll want to get expansions for it.

This is a must have expansion for fans of the Spiderverse. Adding new heroes such as Moon Knight, Symbiote Spiderman, The Scarlet Spider (yay! Ben Reilly is awesome), Spiderwoman, and Black Cat with their super helpful “wall-crawl” ability (when they are recruited they go on top of your deck instead of into your discard pile, meaning you can get them quickly).

It also adds two masterminds: Mystery who, although is fairly weak, is a supreme nuisance because his masterstrike ability can mean you’ll have to defeat him 9+ times; and Carnage, whose masterstrike ability automatically KOs the top card of every player’s deck.

This Expansion is going to change how you build your Rebellion and Resistance lists for X-Wing. The new “Force Awakens” style Falcon features a new Han Solo, new Chewbacca, and introduces Rey to the game.

Han allows for early game deploy shenanigans, Chewie allows you a free attack if a friendly ship is destroyed, and Rey is just bonkers good by giving you two free re-rolls if your target is inside your firing arc.

The expansion also features a repainted T-70 X-Wing in Poe Dameron’s Black Leader paint scheme. And also brings four more X-Wing jockeys into the fray: Skill 9 Poe Dameron, Nien Nunb, Snap Wexley, and Jess Pava.

Each with useful skills and tricks that will pair nicely with previous pilots and upgrades. In summary, you get 10 new pilots, 2 Ships, and 13 Upgrade cards featuring Finn, Rey, and a new title card for the Millennium Falcon.

Well worth it.

I haven’t had a chance to play these ships yet, but I have faced the. It’s a great buy for the price (1 medium ship, 1 small ship). There’s a few interesting cards here which make for some fun play. Rey/Finn with the Millennium Falcon title makes the YT-1300 an agile and more powerful ship.

Looking at the x-wings, Jess Pava has an interesting ability that makes her great in a swarm of x-wings or A-wings. If you are looking to add some punch to your line-up and you fly rebels, I highly recommend buying this expansion.

The shipping time was outstanding, I received the miniatures well ahead of the estimated shipping time. The miniatures were in great shape and well packaged.

This is quite a good game, but not really an RPG. Gone is the weapon skill system and any need for any strategy as it is now more of a button masher. I suspect this is aimed at a younger audience than what the Cursed King was aimed at (which I think was a much better game).

Still a decent sized game with good graphics and character interactions.

I loved this game! Lots of game play side quests and what not. It was actually quite fun! And the character selection was pretty cool too. I would recommend this for sure.

The maps are copy paste which is a con, this the repetitive part. But the game is spoon fed to help you wrap your head around it easily and the colourful action sequences don’t disappoint, even if playable characters are slightly OP.

Long time Legendary players aren’t likely to forget the great Legendary drought that happened during the shipping crisis about a year into the pandemic. This expansion was scheduled for an end of February 2020 release and didn’t actuallty get released until the end of September 2020.

Glad to see the long hiatus had no effect on the quality. The two Masterminds are Annihilus and Kang, both longtime fan favorotes of comic readers. Annihilus has been a favorite of mine for many years, long before the Annihilation Wave storyline which put him more into the public eye.

And Kang. he has just been introduced into the MCU, likely as the next new ultimate baddie after Thanos, so he’s getting plenty of buzz not too. I found Annihilus to be a bit disappointing, likely because I had already set the bar too high in my head.

He’s mechanically sound with his Momentum keyword and the Annihilation Wave villain group, but I just wasn’t feeling ANNIHILUS. Players will probably really enjoy one card in that Annihilation Wave villain group, Weaponized Galactus.

It’s essentially a gigantic bomb that wants to race through the city so that when it escapes, it destroys a city space and then re-enters the villain deck. THAT’S going to be a problem over time! Speaking of which, there’s Kang.

Again, not feeling KANG, but mechanically sound. All four of the schemes are just fine, but nothing I found outstanding. That’s actually praise though, because I have found a few schemes in the sets over time to be complete duds and that matters more to me than getting a scheme that’s totally fascinating and new.

Brainstorm has worked fine as a hero so far, with little to comment on from me. Psi-Lord is neat to play and he provides a useful utility function, but he’s not all that great for dishing out damage.

That’s okay though and he’s a welcome addition to the team. Heralds of Galactus really isn’t a set I wanted, but it plays fine. It includes a Galactus card which functions similar to the Sentry and Phoenix rares of the past where you get a monumentally large effect but risk paying a terrible cost.

Fantastic Four United is the stinker of the set. Mechanically, it’s fine, but I just hate having a little hero set with four charcters that I already have FULL hero sets of. Why? Why did they bother even creating this when they could have come up with some other Fantastic Four character to use? Super-Skrull is more fun that I had thought he would be.

I like the character and it was cute the way they made his cards somewhat of an opposite to the Fantastic Four cards since those are the powers he stole.

Marvel Legendary is the best board game I have ever played. It is the perfect mix of simple gameplay and deep strategy. As for this expansion, it is alright. Overall the expansion as a whole is nothing special.

Anything that adds more cards to Legendary however is also good, so I’d still recommend this expansion. Note however this is an expansion and requires one of the base games to play.

I have a tendency to like the not quite so famous characters, especially when it comes to Marvel. This expansion offers just that. Legendary Marvel is still one of my favorite LCG’s, so I love when they give me more underrated characters to choose from.

Sometimes you have to color outside of the lines.

Good little expansion for an already good base game. If you feel that you already know the great combos for the base game, this game can rejuvenate your experience with new heroes and schemes and Master Mind cards.

I bought this simply to have Ultron as a Master Mind. There are some schemes I like, and the new keyword Size Changing (buy/fight a card for two-less resources) is a good new ability. I’m not a big fan of Ant-Man or the other heroes, which is why I don’t give it 5-stars, but I having Ultron and those schemes really pack a punch.

The other review for Ant Man here is very thorough and accurate, but I thought I’d contribute my two cents and a more subjective outlook. Okay, so Marvel Legendary at this point is getting on in years.

If you are like me, and this is still one of your favorite solo/2-3 player games and you are still interested in expanding your set, here are some thoughts after one set-only and one mixed playthrough.

Mechanics/Gameplay: Size changing is back with a vengeance, and the ability to compound it into the negative is pretty neat, although it didn’t happen a lot in my games. I didn’t like size changing that much in Civil War, but somehow I think it works a little better here.

Empowerment is pretty good mechanic, and one that finally combos with HQ related heroes like Kitty Pryde and Falcon. The Team: Overall, I think this is the most essential small set outside of Fantastic Four and maybe Guardians in terms of the team you get.

All five are brand new (not reboots like Cap 1945 or Symbiotic Spidey); Ant Man and Wasp are two huge Avenger holdouts from the MCU movies we haven’t seen yet. The only ones missing now are Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver.

Wonder Man and Black Knight were always favorites of mine when it came to the second-tier Avengers lineup, much more so than those in the Civil War expansion like Tigra and Hercules. I wish another choice had been made instead of Jocasta but oh well.

The cards are pretty well themed, I’d say pretty balanced in terms of power, though perhaps a little on the lower end. Ant Man: focus on size changing, tech and card draw. Great set, strong. Wasp: focus on size changing, covert.

Good set although it is hard to team with Ant Man ironically. Wonder Man: Enpowerment with strength and range. Good theming. Black Knight: Catch-all set. A little weak, but the cards are beautiful. Jocasta: Discard pile based strategy, kind of like Shang Chi.

Definitely the afterthought in this set for me. Villains and schemes: It is worth noting that both villain sets are ALL unique cards, which is very nice. I hope they continue doing that in the future.

Ultron is a great mastermind addition, and again much more concurrent to the MCU feel than having him as that minor villain card in the core set. Vanilla version is on the easy side, but the epic version presents a strong challenge.

Morgan Le Fay is a strange addition thematically, and seems only there to utilize the new chivalrous duel mechanic. It’s a good one, and mixes up the usual strategies, but it seems odd that it is only present when dealing with the villain and minion set.

Schemes are good, but there isn’t much new. I dislike that one of them (Age Of Ultron) is only for large games, which I never play. Final thoughts: I love the art for this set. Black Knight’s and Ant Man’s cards in particular are the best I’ve seen in the game in some time and the rest are still very good.

The power level is a bit low but that is actually kind of nice too, as it seems to have been creeping up of late. Ultron is in my opinion an essential mastermind, and the epic version is a suitable challenge to veteran players while still being doable for a random hero game.

Ant Man, Wasp, 2 West Coast Avengers, Ultron, and great art made this a worthy purchase for me. If you buy it too I hope you agree! My Marvel Legendary Small Box Essential Ranking (out of the ones I own) 1.

Fantastic Four 2. Guardians Of The Galaxy 3. ANT MAN 4. Paint The Town Red 5. Captain America 75 Anniversary.

This is such an odd, yet beautifully executed figures. It’s distinct enough to stand out as a unique variant of a xenomorph, yet it has enough of the aesthetic to clearly belong to the franchise. It has a long (very long) tail with a bendy wire meaning it can stand upright like a cobra, or coil around all sorts of other things (tree branches, indoor lamp posts, other figures, etc).

One minor complaint is one of the inner jaws (there are two) is fairly loose, meaning it slides out by itself when positioned at certain angles.

Once again the Rules Committee have delivered a considered update which keeps Kings of War at the forefront of balanced game design. The new spells and formations keep the game fresh, while the long-awaited siege rules offer fascinating new game play options.

A must have for all fans of the game.

Not only does this book add new units and rules to Kings of War, but it also provides the annual FAQ to the game itself. This book is heavily recommended for competitive players especially, as 2019 tournaments will use the contents of these books.

Perfect for my needs and exactly as expected quality wise from mantic. Perfectly wrapped and fast delivery with excellent service from Goblin Gaming.

I love a fourth wall break as much as the next Deadpool fan, but the parasitic mechanics and the repeated choice to favor comedy over clarity make this one of the weakest expansions to Marvel Legendary.

A great example of the problems with this expansion are the 1/2 points of attack and recruit. At first this seemed funny and novel, but after repeated playthroughs I found the constant need to double check minor arithmetic more annoying than anything else.

Add to that the indecipherable rules sheet and frankly unplayable “Deadpool Writes a Scheme” and I found it harder and harder to grab any of these heroes, masterminds, or schemes when putting together a game.

I’m a completionist, so I still consider it a must own, but its definitely a necessary evil.

Me and a friend are huge Deadpool fans and we were excited to give this a go. The new rules for Deadpool’s friends/enemies made it more of a challenge but we like playing tactically. The artwork is of the same quality as the main game and reinforces the comic book feel.

This is a definite recommendation for Marvel Legendary fans.

This expansion is everything that a Deadpool fan could want. The cards feel and play as if you were in the Deadpool universe. The 1/2 power is a little odd, but isn’t difficult to play with. Excessive Violence is a really cool mechanic in itself.

The schemes. The schemes are really flavorful, and zaney in their own respect. The “Deadpool Makes a Scheme” card is very fun to play with as it doesn’t scale the difficulty gradually but at random intervals up and down.

I love this expansion so much. I’d buy another Deadpool themed expansion if they made one in a heartbeat.

This is the first large-scale LEGO kit I have had the pleasure to handle and build. I am truly impressed with the quality of the components and the thoughtful design that has gone into it. Not a single piece or component fit poorly! The molding quality was top-notch.

A number of the sub-assemblies in this kit would not be easily completed without good instructions, and the builder of this kit does indeed obtain useful and concise instructions with completely graphic diagrams.

The thematic content of the kit shows a real appreciation for small details and the fun side of supernatural characters. I can’t think of a single bad thing to say about my experience with this kit.

It has been awhile since I have ‘helped’ put a Lego together. Not since my 26 yr old did Technic projects. I bought this for my 10 year old granddaughter for her birthday. Now the bags of pieces are numbered and you only open one bag at a time, making it easier to find and assemble, especially with over 900 pieces.

(well, I wasn’t there and my older grandson was working on it and they opened all the bags looking for a ‘missing’ part) Meanwhile my youngest grandson who had never done Legos with directions was putting together the City Garbage Truck (3 bags/208 pieces) at my house while I held the directions.

He was done in 50 minutes. This is fantastic! Love the separate bag idea!! Later, we separated all the pieces by color on the castle to help assemble. Not done yet. Hopefully next week we will work on it.

My granddaughter loves it, but I have a feeling her brothers will be putting it together. She asked for this gift. I was happy to get it at Walmart at a much better price.

All things considered – pretty good price for rad, discontinued LEGO. Havent built yet, but trust that pieces are all there – apart from stated missing pieces in listing. We have some severe allergies in our house and the package smelled strongly of fragrance.

It will have to air out for a few days before it can be brought in the house.

In the words of the 5 1/2 year-old who selected and for whom it was purchased – Cool – he immediately started to work on it. He hates to sort the pieces – I did that – he built the Robot. As he was building, he was commenting on the pieces and what they did; the Kryptonite and its effect on Superman, joints which are click balls for strength, the characters, and of course the robot.

This is a winner in every way; he had told the doorman it was going to arrive Thursday, when the postman arrived at the door, he yelled out, it’s early. It took him about an hour, it is now finished and he is pleased.

He read this and had me make changes.

Absolutely love the product! Only problem is mine came with a few missing pieces. Still, nothing my spare pieces can’t mostly fix. Would recommend for a cheap alternative to buying new.

I bought this item for my 6 year old Booger Bear. It was easy to put together and came with plenty of extra pieces. He’s 6. We lost a piece before we even opened the directions. The “Super Jumper” works exceptional well, and is a lot of fun.
