I bought this product because someone on YouTube said that she had been using it for six years for eyelash growth, and she did indeed have exceptionally long and beautiful eyelashes. (She has written her own review, and as of my writing this, it is the top review here).

I knew going in that this would be a long-term project and I would have to be patient to see results, so I wasn’t discouraged when I wasn’t noticing any difference after one month. I should mention at this point that I was not only using the castor oil on my eyelashes, but also on my eyebrows, as well as around my hairline (especially at my temples).

For my eyelashes, I put one good-sized drop on my fingertip, press my other fingertip to it, so that I have half a drop per hand, and then massage it into the roots of my top and bottom lashes. Then I apply another drop to my finger, redistribute it as before, and massage it into the roots of my eyebrows.

I do this before bed, because it does make your eyes feel sticky and weird. For my hair, I follow this procedure on nights before I’m going to wash my hair the next morning, which for me is twice a week: I put about two half dropperfuls of castor oil in the palm of one hand, add 14-16 drops of rosemary essential oil (which has been shown to be AS EFFECTIVE as Rogaine for hairloss, with none of the side effects, and at a fraction of the cost), and mix them together with a fingertip.

Then I use that fingertip to rub it in all around my hairline, going farthest back at my temples where the hair is thinnest. Now I’ll tell you my results. I’ve been doing this for 110 days, not missing a single night for the eyelashes and eyebrows, and doing it consistently before every washing for my hair.

The difference that I noticed first was in my eyebrows. They began to fill in and darken up at around the two-month mark. By three months, it was very clear that they were much more defined and full and healthy than before I started.

I don’t pluck my eyebrows, so I think their thinning and lightening was due to a family history of hypothyroidism, plus just getting older (I’m 38). At around this time I noticed an undeniable difference in my eyelashes too, but it was subtle.

Now it’s been nearly four months, and my eyelashes are definitely both longer and fuller. This, for me, hasn’t been as noticeable as the change to my eyebrows, because my eyelashes are very light-colored at the tips.

But I caught a view of them from the side in direct sunlight a few days ago, and I was shocked! They are much longer than ever before. I don’t like to wear mascara (because it irritates my eyes) but now I’m tempted to try again, just to let the world appreciate how long my eyelashes are! I feel like a beautiful camel!As for my hair, I’m not really sure what’s going on there.

I wanted something to help my hair grow, because the hairs around my face are always much shorter and wispier than the rest of my hair (and not in a cute, “baby hairs” kind of way, but in a way that makes me look haggard and unkempt, because of how they stick out and make me look like a mad scientist).

These wisps seem to have gotten a bit longer, which is good, but they’re still much too short to match the rest of my hair, or stay contained by any hairdo, so for now I’m left looking even rougher than before.

I’m going to keep doing what I’m doing, and hope that what I’m seeing is progress, and eventually the wisps will catch up to my other hair. TL;DR – Will this make your eyelashes longer and fuller?YES.

You people out there who use lash serum to grow your lashes. Do you know what the main ingredient is? Yes Caster oil!!! It’s cheap you can buy it in a big bottle for under ten bucks. I had breast cancer and after surgery I went on chemo for almost a year.

I’ve only used this oil 4 times in the last week. I can’t say anything concrete about the product stimulating hair growth yet as it’s too early to tell, but it’s definitely given my hair its softness and shine back! Even my husband commented saying my hair looks “glossy”.

It felt a bit weird putting the oil in my hair at first as it’s thicker than other oils I’ve tried in the past, but I think that actually helps control where the oil goes. For context, I’ve got thin straight (Caucasian) hair.

I have also been dealing with postpartum alopecia on and off, and after the 4th application I’ve noticed a lot less hair falling out during brushing and washing, so that’s a great plus. Overall I recommend this product and I’ll be looking at purchasing some of the brand’s other oils.

This is a classic I didn’t read the description properly and bought this by accident purchase. What I was looking for was an oil to work into my damp or dry lengths in between washes to keep it manageable and hydrated.

My OGX oil had run out and I was on here for something else so I thought might as well get an argan hair oil here. Found this product, sounded good, didn’t read the descrition properly (it was late, I was tired).

It’s actually a very thick oil that is supposed to be massaged into a dry scalp. Now, I don’t have a dry scalp but moderately oily one which is why I don’t wanna apply thick oils on there. Hence, I haven’t used this the intended way but tried it on my dry lenghts instead.

The first time I used way too much and my hair was pretty greasy. The second time I used only a tiny amount, spread it on my hands then gently worked and crunched it into my slightly damp hair. And it works well.

Gives my dry, thirsty strands a nice shine and it smell good, too. So, I can’t really comment on the intended use but I’m loving this anyway and it will probably last me a loooooong time. Plus, lesson learned: read descriptions more carefully and don’t shop online late when you’re too tired.

I am unsure why the peppermint jbco is on sale, as I used to use the regular mango & lime jbco and this one is SO much better! I literally bought 5 more bottles after initially buying 2 on whim during a haul! By itself, my scalp feels tingly and like it is responding to the oil.

However I’ve recently began mixing this oil with Dabur alma oil (I mix them in a bottle 50/50) and on top of my scalp responding to the oil and feeling stimulated from the peppermint oil, my hair has GROWN SO MUCH! So many baby hairs on my edges (more than I’ve ever seen before, to the point where I never knew I was suppose to have hair there)! If you’re using a jbco to stimulate hair growth, this is by far the best option (for quick results)!.

I love this multipurpose oil! I originally bought it because I read a review that said it helps grow your eyelashes! I’ve used popular lash growing serums in the past, but this oil works so much quicker for a quarter of the price! I have never seen my lashes this long before! I put the oil in an old clear mascara container and use the mascara spoolie to apply it at night as often as I remember.

I also use it on my eyebrows and my eyebrow hair started growing in sparse areas. I’ve used it on the base of my feet before bed after exfoliating them. This winter, my scalp became drier than usual and none of the products I usually use for my dry scalp were working, so I used this oil as a hair/scalp mask for at least 15 minutes before I wash my hair and now the dry patches have gone away! I’ve also used this oil with my gua sha before and it works well! This bottle lasts a long time and goes a long way.

I have heard that castor oil also works well with fading scars. I have yet to try this consistently, but look forward to trying it soon!.

I’ve used Heritage Store Castor Oil for years and absolutely love it! It’s my daily oil to use on my scalp along with Heritage Store Rosewater Vinegar spray. I mix the castor oil with either an essential oil or another lighter oil.

Spraying the scalp first helps to seal the oil to your scalp. I’ve had issues with hair growth since menopause but recently had success with applying the spray before adding the oil. Of course consuming dark green leafy vegetables is a must.

Holy moly! I took an emergency trip to my mom’s and I’ve been here (unexpectedly) for 3 months. Because I needed to buy all new things, I wanted to try it on a budget. I have eczema so I usually top off my routine with a face oil or salve for extra hydration.

I wanted to try a castor oil for my hair, and saw it could be used on the face as well and WOW what a game changer. It’s way thicker than I thought it would be, which made me nervous. I thought for sure it would leave a residue but NO, my face absorbs all of it! Thought it would be to thick on my hair and make it feel greasy, but my hair looks so soft and feels great.

My skin has been in such a good mood!.

Read mixed reviews before purchasing but decided to bite the billet since it is Organic & Cold-pressed 100% Castor Oil. Glad I tried it because it works. Bought it for specific purpose of regrowing my eyelashes and eyebrows after meno depleted my natural lush supply.

The consistency is exactly what I expected. Comparable to The Ordinary Rosehip Seed Oil. It’s not thick but it’s not watery, in between. It does take time to “sink in” and sits on top of my lashes and brows but I don’t mind that if I am only going to sleep.

The scent I can’t smell at all so others have commented on that but it isn’t an issue for me whatsoever. I work remotely from home and do not wear cosmetics on my eyes like I did daily before. My eye area is extremely sensitive and this doesn’t irritate them either which is another huge bonus otherwise it would be impossible to get results. It is a container that will last for a decent amount of time and the pump easily dispenses the oil nicely without clogging.

The cap did crack immediately which was weird cause I didn’t drop it or handle it roughly or tug at it. Maybe the suction cracked it which they should look into. Over all, I’m SUPER impressed with the way it has transformed my lashes in only 1 week.

I applied mascara for the first time yesterday and I was blown away by the fact that I now have more than 7 lifeless lashes thanks to this! I am 50 yrs old and aging can take away your natural, bountiful assets that Mother Nature gave you that you take for granted.

As someone suffering from autoimmune induced hair loss, I can say that this product is top notch – I’ve even purchased additional bottles out of fear that it will be discontinued. I’ve tried other organic, cold-pressed castor oils purchased from Amazon and while the ingredients are the same, this is the only one that provided any results.

I saw absolutely no change when using the other brands, and major regrowth after a month of consistent use with this one. I also prefer the consistency of this one as it is much less sticky and like that it has a pump dispenser as opposed to a dropper top like the others.

I’m able to pump it directly onto my scalp wherever needed and massage it in with my fingertips. I absolutely love and recommend this product to anyone suffering from hair loss.

The four stars are for what this oil has done for my nails, not my hair. I climb, and live in an arid environment, and my toenails have been cracking and breaking a bit from being in my tight climbing shoes.

This castor oil was super effective in moisturizing and curbing mail breakage – I use it at night, and within just a few uses I could see a difference. I originally was using it on my hairline – blonde highlighted, super thin, fine, breakage etc – to see if I could get more hair growth.

I think it kind of worked??? Maybe a tiny bit of baby hair growth?? Really hard to say though. I stopped using it in my hair because whatever tiny amount of babyhair growth happened wasn’t worth the greasiness it caused in my ultra fine hair, even when I used a tiny amount.

I’ll probably keep re-purchasing as a nail conditioner though, as it’s fantastic at that.

Love this product. I have always had lash extensions, and for the last 3-4 years had them continuously. So when the pandemic hit and all the salons were closed, I finally gave my lashes a break and really noticed how short and brittle they looked.

This product has definitely helped make my lashes grow longer, darker and somewhat thicker. I also use it on my eyebrows, but i haven’t noticed any new hair growth yet. Would definitely recomment this product to anyone that would like to lengthen their natural lashes.

I will still continue to use this and try to get my lashes as long as I would like them too. Now i just need to find an awesome mascara for my natural lashes!!!!.

I’m sure since there are so many positive reviews this must work for some people. However I can’t even use it long enough to see any difference. It’s really thick and gloopy and the applicators are not precise enough.

It also is so messy that it made me break out around my eyes which is unheard of. Who gets zits under their eyebrows?? Not me! But this product made it happen. I hope you have better luck than me. It may be great for some people, but not for me.

Great product. I have been using on my eyebrows and after few months I noticed my eyebrows got fuller. I am using it every night right before I go to bed. Just received my second bottle. Also start using on my eyelashes too.

This product is affordable compared to other castor oil/hair growth oils on sights like Amazon. I personally like the scent of oil as well. I apply to my part and massage into a scalp and roots 2 hours before washing hair.

There is many good uses for the castor oil. However, as any oil if it gets on your phone or hands you have to make sure you wash it.

I am so glad I came across this product at Marshall’s as it was only $4. 99. This product has benefited my hair greatly as I have itchy dry scalp and trying to grow out my hair. Peppermint oil will help reduce dry scalp by hydrating the hair and stimulating hair growth.

I have more finer straight Asian hair and I find using a lot of this product can make it greasy so I just use a small amount on the roots and tip of my hair. It makes a great de-tangler as I am combing out my locks.

My curly hair is very difficult to control, after many research and about to spend many dollars in fancy oils I got to this and OMG!!! As soon as I applied my hair loved it! The smell is very neutral, the feeling is very neutral and the results fantastic! I don’t understand why this is not viral 😳.

I was getting some hair-loss with a dry/flaky scalp and while this product doesn’t seem to be working for the hair-loss, it’s doing wonders for other things! I work the caster oil into my scalp twice a week.

I start from the back of the head and work my way to the front, slowly massaging it into the scalp as I go. I leave it on for anywhere from 5 minutes to 3 hours (I find the longer the better). Then I wash it off.

My hair is noticeably softer, has a little more body, and is definitely healthier looking! My scalp is health as well and I have noticed about a 80% reduction in flakes. If I use the product consistently (which is hard for me to do sometimes), I have no flakes.

I highly recommend this oil.

I’m in love with this pure virgin oil set from Pura D’or. The set comes with a big bottle for your hair, a mascara tube and one for your eyebrows. I haven’t used it for my eyebrows but I did use the mascara and I have to say that it significantly improved my eyelashes after using it everyday before bed for a month.

As for my hair, I rubbed a small amount on my scalp once a week before bed and it significantly improved the density of my thin hair.

Absolutely in LOVE and very happy I purchased this. My hair is thin and very curly but very dry and brittle. Since moving from the North West to the deep south, the humidity has frizzed my hair and caused very bad breakage.

I mainly bought this for my eyebrows and eyelashes since do my makeup a lot so wearing fake lash kinda damage my real one. So i need something to balance it out, my roommate bought a smaller version of this so i was intrigued about it and bought a bigger version instead.

Castor oil is clear, and has no noticeable odor, it’s good quality product. I separate 2 bottom. one is for my eye, I place just a drop on clean finger tip, then smearing across eye lid at night before bedtime, helping with my dry eye.

Finding the right products for hair can be a lifelong battle for some, and I am one of those people. My hair is mixed textured and gets tired of products very easily, and in turn, I get irritated of having to change my hair routine very couple of months.

My mom gave me this to try, and while my lashes and brows are thriving (though they didn’t need to be doing anything extra to begin with), for my actual hair crown, I would say that this castor oil is BETTER, not GREAT.

It maintains what I have, but there’s no drastic improvement. The smell can be very strong, seemingly depending on what batch you get. I’ve purchased some bottles where the smell is faint where others I’ve had to return because it smells like a chimney.

I hope that their attempt at pump-action top will be changed because they are absolute trash, especially when you near the bottom of the bottle. A little of the oil goes a long way, as it is very concentrated, and lasts a while from my use.

I wait until there’s a sale promotion to purchase again as I don’t think it needs to be ten dollars for a tiny bottle.

The bottles comes in a pump now which I personally like better. I have coarse hair and saw something about this helping maintain frizz and help with hair growth. I started using this the night before I wash my hair (1x a week) and it’s changed my hair in so many ways.

My hair looks and feels so much healthier. I apply it all over my scalp and ends and sleep with it. (Yes it makes a little bit of a mess) but you could also wrap your hair if that worries you. It’s never stained any of my items.

This oil is perfect if you are searching a product that help your lashes growing, this is the one. I haven’t used it for hair growth, but I can garantee you that on your lashes will make wonders. Now the key is to be consistant, you can’t think that you apply the oil 3 times in a month and the lashes will be long and thick, you have to be really consistant.

I apply the oil 2 times a day, everyday. I apply it in the morning and before going to bed. I think the results depend on the person, someone can see a diffrence in the thickness, or in the lenght of the lashes.

The oil will for sure strenght you eyelashes, I experienced eyelashe loss because I used to wear make up everyday so my lashes were tortured everyday by the mascara, but the oil made this magic and I can see my lashes have a more full look.

The oil has to be used within 24 months once you opened it, but I’m still using it and I haven’t experienced any coleteral results.

I love castor oil! I use it for cysts on my ovaries. I also use it for hair growth. I use this to also grow my eyelashes as well as my hair. It has a thick consistency and is very sticky. After several hours on even more than a day my hair is very soft and is thicker and filled in the spaces well.

I put it on my roots and scalp and the strands either at separate times or all at once. I a man putting a towel on your pillow to prevent staining your pillowcase or blankets. I highly recommend this to anyone in need.

As a huge fan of the oil cleansing method, I am constantly on the lookout for better and different brands of each oil to use, especially since I know they can all be produced differently and some brands you never know what you’re getting.

I ordered this as a side thought with other products I was getting from Pharmaca and figured for the price it couldn’t hurt. Upon using it, I was extremely impressed. It had the same smell, color, and consistency of other castor oils I’ve used and the dark bottle made me feel like they were actually trying to protect the product inside.

I have had no adverse effects after 2 weeks of using this in my oil cleansing method and in fact, I think it does an even better job of unclogging pores and smoothing over the skin. While it is thick, it is not sticky, which is a plus.

My number one love of this product though is. the cap! Castor oil is too thick to use with a dropper tube and if you pour it, it’s constantly making a mess. This bottle utilizes a plastic drip top– I really don’t know what to call it–that is simply amazing! No muss, no fuss, a little squeeze and you get about a teaspoon, which is all I need.

I almost always add a hair serum or oil to my conditioner. And it’s almost always this one. This is my hair holy grail. I always add it to my conditioner, and then apply the mixture directly to my scalp and roots, (then I add conditioner to the rest of my hair with or without the oil).

I let it sit for maybe 10 minutes, then I rinse it out. My roots are never oily because my scalp absorbs it all my the morning. I have SO MUCH HAIR since I started using this in my conditioner. And not only ‘so much,’ but SUPER THICK strands.

Adding it to my hair this way, there are several benefits- there is NO lingering strong smell, a little goes a long way & covers the whole scalp, and is more efficient being added to an emollient like conditioner so the bottle lasts A LOOONG TIME.

Every now and then I “oil” my hair with this alone and let it sit for a few hours, then wash it out. But I honestly always see it work more, best, and have much more incredible results by adding it to my roots in my conditioner every time I wash my hair.

That way my hair gets “fed” a growing hair serum every day to every few days directly to my scalp. BEST stuff out there! 100% recommend.

After reading that castor oil and rosemary both have strong hair growth benefits, I bought this oil. It is thick like honey, and smells like minty tobacco. It’s subtle but really nice and spa like. It spreads easily through my hairline where most of my hair loss happened.

Because I have fine, straight hair, I have to use it at night the day before I plan to wash my hair. Then, in the morning, I run some through my ends and wait 10 minutes before wetting and shampooing.

I use to use Shea moisture castor oil. BUT my scalp begin to have issues NOT from Shea moisture. it started peeling but not like dandruff, itching and I started getting sores in my front head area. I tried everything, Shea moisture castor oil daily, washing with Paul Mitchell tea tree oil, deep conditioning, hot oil treatments, like everything but nothing helped.

I used it in the temples where my hair is much thinner almost bare, but this stuff has has made me feel so good about my decision to try! I am so pleased! It does have an odor that i had to get used to (plain), but it passes.

I used it at night to begin but figured i could use in the day time too, so I put a little on during the AM and comb thru the hair. It makes my hair appear like i just took a shower and have wet hair (maybe using too much, lol, don’t know).

But i have only been using a small dime size for each side. it is thick oil, but not sticky. It just takes time to absorb it. And what i like is if i do wet it it seems to make my hair nice and soft and still manageable.

This product is really good for your hair. This castor oil is really wet and oily which makes it a good product. I wouldn’t recommend using it by itself because it won’t be as effective. However, I would recommend mixing it with something.

For example, a custom avocado hair mask with this oil would be great for your hair. Therefore, I would recommend this item.

First thing is that this smells heavenly. I love this product so much, it is not only very affordable but it is also very effective in moisturising my hair. I love adding this throughout the week to my ends for that extra moisture and right before a protective style so that I have a lot of moisture locked in.

They lied, they lied! I’m not listening to these natural girls and boys no more. I used all the natural oils and butters and all it lead to was breakage and dry hair. No more dry hair this leaves my hair soft and moisturized for at least two weeks.

Use it on my scalp and hair. My hair still grows contrary to popular belief and I retain more length. Love this!.

I used black castor oil before I learned that it opens the cuticle so it best for scalp use. this castor oil is best to close the cuticle and seal hair which is a must for high porosity hair. Best sealing oil that i have discovered.

Very versatile and has many uses both as Supplement and to treat physical ailments.

Very nourishing on the skin. A little goes a long way.

I mix it with coconut oil and use it as hot treatment for my hair. Makes it grow fast.
