16 Best Cat Puzzle Toys (2022 Updated)

Bought this jigsaw puzzle as a family ‘lockdown’ Christmas activity because my 5 year old son is crazy about cats. We found the design to be fun, bold and modern which we loved. It became a great talking point and very educational too as we googled all the cat names and learned even more.

Excellent quality also.

Muduppy comes up with some very clever puzzles and this is one of their best. Clever takeoffs on famous artists as cats. (I especially like the Khalo one). This puzzle is challenging enough to be worth your time and clever enough to keep you amused.

(The van Gogh cat is missing an ear). Interesting, educational and fun. HIGHLY recommended!.

We love mudpuppy puzzles. The pictures on the puzzle make it fun the whole way through. The shape of the pieces make it easy enough that our whole family can put it together. Having 1000 pieces makes it just challenging enough.

I bought these nibblers for Snoopy because he loves the canvas catnip toys but chews through them within a couple of days. Since these are quite a bit cheaper it seemed like a more cost effective solution.

Although I have yet to see if they’re more durable since they’re made to be chewed, snoopy seems to be loving this toy! Not only can he chew it but unlike the canvas toys he can also bat them around since they’re much lighter and smaller.

So far he seems quite happy with this as a replacement for his favorite toy!.

My cats love these. They toss them around and hit them. They like it that the toys “fly” across the room. I think they are a little expensive for what you get, but they are pretty durable. I have ordered several packs and none have broken apart yet.

I also like it that they come in an enclosed package. It keeps the catnip fresher, and it doesn’t spread to other places. Shelby (for Kitty and Princess).

Another stocking stuffer and an extremely successful one at that. I was looking for something good for their teeth and this kept them busy for a bit as soon as I gave it to them. I think they only stopped playing with them because they got lost under the furniture after time.

Durable so far! Will be buying more.

I really appreciate the quality of these puzzles. The pieces are thick and the boxes are so nice I would buy them separately. Just like the puzzles, they’re colorful with attractive designs!

Can’t get better than these. I’ve enjoyed doing them, especially as an in-between longer more time consuming puzzles of 1000 pieces. These are so. much. fun.

After completing the “artsy cats” puzzle, I purchased several more. I gave the music cats puzzle to a friend as a birthday gift. She loved it! It is so unique and has great colors.

This plush toy arrived via USPS later than expected but once I received it it is exactly what I expected. I ordered this as a gift for myself and it arrived Valentine’s Weekend. This plush kitten looks as close as I could find to a cat I recently lost.

Oreo was my 3 year old male cat. He was a very energetic and sweet boy. Unfortunately, he was always too curious and into everything. We now suspect he succumbed to antifreeze poisoning. This kitten plush toy at least is a positive reminder of Oreo.

The product and price were excellent. So pet owners out there and others, please be careful with your antifreeze around pets and kids. Remember even diluted it is still toxic unless you are using Sierra.

Even then, I would advise being cautious.

I purchased this toy for my puppy and brought it with me when I went to pick up my puppy so she and her sister could play with it together and it would have her sister’s scent on it when I brought her home, hoping to comfort her.

Even though it isn’t a dog toy, she never ruined it and while it did show wear after 15 years of daily play, it was her favorite toy. It was the only toy she wouldn’t let any other dog play with. I highly recommend it but only if your dog is not a destroyer of toys.

I have now purchased a new one for the new puppy that is arriving to give her the same special baby. The stuffed dog on the left is the original toy, the one on the right is the new toy.

Patch is an adorable little raccoon! He’s so soft and cuddly, and looks like his real life counterparts! He’s small, at only about 6-8 inches, but that’s the perfect size to take on adventures and he’s very soft and cuddly! He’s quite durable as well! If you have a Raccoon lover in your life of any age, or if you or someone you love simply loves wildlife, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you get Patch the plush Raccoon today! You won’t be disappointed!.

Compartments are _so_ good for sharing the work. Slightly harder than Artsy Cats, only slightly less creative in design. High quality feel & fit of pieces, low dust, as always with Galison. PS with a general comment: Also as always, Galison is good in including a sheet with a high-resolution, full-screen, copy of the puzzle’s picture.

That’s a big plus, especially for two or more solvers. Routinely obscuring parts of puzzles with boxtop “stickers” and other display gimmicks are a minus. Galison is nearly unique in making up for this with their inserts.

This was my first puzzle in a very long time of not doing any and it was very easy and fun! I love the adorable concept of cute cats and zodiac signs. Unique, easy to match up but with fun little challenges! Can’t wait to hang this one in a frame on my wall to proudly show off.

The puzzle design itself is super fun and easy–like doing 12 mini puzzles. Quite a few pieces in mine were bent, however, which made the puzzle difficult to fit together at times (you’d have to bend them back the other way to try to flatten them) and resulted in the puzzle not lying completely flat.

A wavy puzzle is harder to put together than I thought!.

Once again another high quality puzzle by Ravensburger. They never disappoint with high quality pieces and great designs.

Puzzle is of high quality all pieces cut properly and image very clear.

Love your puzzles. Great pictures to choose from and a great way to unplug from electronic lifestyle and relax. They are a wonderful blast from the past when times were simpler and provide great unplugged family time.

Galison brand are very nice quality and I like that you use recycled materials.

Got this to do with my elementary aged granddaughter. She enjoyed it, though frustrated at times. A patience and perseverance lesson in disquise – for the WIN, without electronics or grandma having to work too hard.

I bought 3 1 time as they were reduced. 5+ years later 2 are filthy & almost flat but over a dozen cats have gone NUTZ for them! They have to “get their carrot on” at least a few times a week even if formerly feral & they don’t know what it is or know how to play.

1 is tied to a chair so they have a different challenge (& it doesn’t end up under a cabinet like many balls). Costs a little more but I would never have expected to see old & young cats chomp it, bunny-kick & try to rip it open (1 is ripped after 5+ years).

You will get your moneys worth!.

This little toy is wonderful for cats. The only criticism I have would be to cut the feathers from the carrot because our cat loves to chew them off and try and eat them. So if you cut it off, problem solved.

This has become our cat’s favorite toy ever. They do not go anywhere without this toy. Catnip has amazing qualities. I highly recommend to cat owners.

Tia loves this carrot. Very good size, I checked B4 removing feathers & they are in the carrot tightly, so I didn’t have to remove them B4 giving the carrot to her. She likes to put the carrot between her front paws & utilize her “ancestral” predatory instincts & bite into it over & over.

Regardless of bite marks, the carrot seems to be holding up well. Good price for this large carrot & fast delivery.

As soon as I opened the box my cats were pawing & chewing on this unopened pack. They knew right away what these were. I couldn’t get the sticks out fast enough. When I finally did they were rolling all over the floor with them! I couldn’t take them away last night for them for later.

Greatest buy ever!.

Occasionally I’ll take my almost 3 yr old cat Starr to my mom’s so she can babysit her if I’m working a long day. Starr loved throwing it around and playing with it. My mom has a 15 yr old cat who isn’t about the life style.

But I left one at my mom’s for Starr. My mom said her cat actually started playing with it when Starr left.

The description and the reviews are right on. The younger and grown cat both love this toy, one bouncing or chewing on the plush part while the other races the balls around. The pieces assemble solidly, and the wire connector attaches so firmly to the base that it’s never going to come out during play.

The wire is stiff yet flexible, holding the plush toy up and making it rebound. This toy isn’t very big, maybe the size of a dinner plate, but the cats don’t mind, and it doesn’t flip over. I like that it’s cute and doesn’t take up a lot of space in the living room.

I’ve had this toy for about a month or so. My kittens love batting the plastic balls around and it easily keeps them entertained. It took maybe 10-15 minutes to assemble, the hardest part being just making sure the pieces snapped together.

The balls stay in their tracks and haven’t popped out. I haven’t had to replace the toy on top yet and the kittens have been pretty rough with it. I also have an 11-month cat, the kittens’ mama, that does play with this toy as well but she’ll often knock it over and move it around the room so I think this toy is more suitable for younger cats/kittens.

After reading previous reviews which weren’t positive, I decided to try it anyway. We have a kitten and really didn’t know what he would play with. The price was good so we took a chance. If you snap the parts together correctly it is very sturdy.

Our little guy loves it. We put it away and bring it out when he’s very active, usually before bedtime. Also we found ping pong balls fit the tracks for extra fun. I did recommend it to a friend who has a new kitten also.

I guess my cats like to choose their own burrowing spots. I was thinking that they would run from one end out the hole on the top but they didn’t so they initially played with it cautiously. Since I’ve cut a hole at the end of the other side, they love to run through it, particularly when I dangle their feather toys at one end.

It’s a real hoot to watch them!.

While this is well made the small size makes it difficult for my larger cats to squeeze inside. This would be great for kittens and ferrets. Its also kinda strange that one side is closed. My cat’s are still managing to squeeze inside it and play so it’s not a total loss.

I can’t say enough good things about this tunnel. It’s my cat’s favorite thing. She rips through it and loops back around for more. She loves the crinkle on the inside and batting around the attached beaver toy.

It is best for small cats. My Luna is only 8 pounds and it is perfect for her. If you have a larger cat, I wouldn’t get it. It’s very sturdy and well built and looks cute, too. The tunnel collapses down for storage if you need it to.

I usually just pick it up and it’s small enough to put on top of my refrigerator for the night while I’m not awake to supervise.

I really enjoyed this puzzle! It was my first 1,000-piece puzzle, and I was happy that I was able to complete it in a reasonable amount of time. It was challenging, but not overly impossible to figure out.

Things I asked myself a thousand times during the puzzle: Who’s eye is this? Who’s missing an ear? Seriously, who still needs an eye?! Hours of entertainment. I would definitely recommend!.

I started it last night. Got up early this morning and went to the puzzle. Haven’t gotten much else done today. I keep going back to the puzzle. I am really enjoying it. It is challenging enough to keep it interesting and rewarding because you can usually find a piece that goes in the section you are working on without hours passing by.

Topic is great because I love cars.

As an avid puzzler, finding them hard to locate during shutdown was a frustration. The only thing more frustrating is getting jigsaw puzzles with flimsy and poorly-cut pieces. I’m so glad I took a chance on the Lang puzzles at Staples! They are excellent quality with pieces that snap together seamlessly.

I’ve ordered several more – and when it comes to puzzle quality, you might say that I’m as finicky as. well. as a cat!.

I have one of these that I have had for years. I set it aside when my older cats became less interested in play, but I got it out again recently to play with my newest feline kid. He is an extremely shy rescue who is terrified of being touched but does love to play.

With this toy, I can play with him and then use it to very gently stroke him to show him that touch actually feels good. It seems to be working–he will now sometimes allow me to pet him. My strategy relies on this toy, and I was afraid that if it finally wore out (it hasn’t yet), I would not be able to find a new one, so I was thrilled to find it is still available! I ordered two, just to have spares on hand, but my original one is still usable, although it has started shedding feather bits–not surprising since it gets a lot of use.

It is a durable, high quality toy.

My 2 cats have GOBS of toys so why do I keep buying them more? The teaser they have like this one has taken a beating & Kong has been a good source of cat stuff, but this one is too long and awkward to shimmy around, making one cat disinterested & the other bored with how easy it is to catch.

So, I cut it off by several inches. It’s an improvement. But the handle/wand is too short, limiting the distance of the “play field” (big range on distance and things to maneuver around). All in all, considerably not worth the price.

Maybe this will teach me to not buy more toys. at least until the next time.

My cat loves to lay and catch these soft toys in his arms. He then likes to lick and groom them. He loves the soft fuzzy boa feathers and doesn’t try to pull them out and eat them like “big” feathers, so that’s a win fir me too.

It’s so adorable to see him grooming his fluffy toy. And he loves it’s lightweight and nothing on the end to bang him in the face when we are playing. I get these often fir him and see his face lights up when I take it out of the box.

My cat gets bored of it sometimes (who can blame them?), but this is the one toy I purchased a long time ago, and he still enjoys playing with it. The best part is that it’s a wand toy, so it gives your cat the time to interact with you at a *cat-appropriate* distance – but it’s not just that.

Here’s what I observed – 1. He loves the feathers at the bottom because he’s an “air hunter,” 2. Once caught, the caterpillar can be wiggled around to make it look like an actual struggling prey which my cat LOVES! and 3.

It has sufficient string length on the top that my cat can chew on if he needs to. This is the ONE toy he keeps carrying like an ACTUAL prey and goes crazy for! (When he can be bothered to play, ofc!) No other wand toy compares – get this!.

This is such a pretty and colorful wand toy. It looks like a cute scarf on my cat. We have like 3 or 4 of these already in our home. He loves this wand toy sooo much. Some of the older wands had a part of the bottom black feather fall off fast or got wear and tear to the point one eye would fall off eventually.

He absolutely goes crazy for this and he thinks it’s an actual prey he caught. He drags it around while meowing sometimes–it’s the cutest and funniest thing to witness.

My cat absolutely LOVES this toy. I don’t know what it is about this toy, but it has ruined all other dangly toys for him. I’ve had to re-buy this toy several times because he severs the string from the pole and will just drag it around.

The only reason I give it a 3 instead of a 5 is because I discovered I have to ‘prep’ this toy before I give it to him. He has thrown up the eyeballs. I don’t know what it is about this toy, but I now have to cut off the eyes and antenna before I give this toy to my cat because he will chew on it and eat it.

I hate to not buy this toy for him again, but it is starting to become a safety issue.
