20 Best Cat Self Groomer (2022 Updated)

About a year and a half ago, I had to have my 20-year-old cat shaved because her fur had become so matted. Bad cat caregiver me, I didn’t understand that she wasn’t able to groom herself as she used to, and since she had always hated for me to groom her, I didn’t realize what was happening with her undercoat until it was too late.

Her fur is short but soft and luxurious, almost like a rabbit’s—at least until it developed all these deranged tufts. Nothing worked to detangle it, and the vet felt shaving was the best option. Since then, she has seemed to enjoy having me groom her—I guess she finally got the point.

As her fur was first growing back, I used a very soft baby’s hairbrush made of goat hair, but once her fur got thicker, it started tufting again. This brush, used gently, completely resolves the issue.

And the mechanism for pressing out the collected hair is absolute magic! I use the soft brush for soothing daily grooming, but I am amazed at how effective this slicker brush is. I have rarely been so delighted at the efficacy of any product.

I have a Ragdoll cat and many who know the breed *know* that they have a thick, super fluffy long coat that needs regular maintenance despite having a cat that grooms well. I had another slicker brush that had the little dots on the tips- I bought that one thinking it would be gentler than this type- turns out I was wrong.

My guy hated that one. But this one! He loves it! I pull it out and he paws at me to hurry up and start brushing him!! He loves rubbing his face on it and having his chin and neck brushed with it the most.

And he tolerates and even enjoys (if his rolling over and loud purring is any indicator) having the rest of his body brushed now too, thanks to this brush. I love that it has a “cleaning” mechanism too.

Makes it convenient for me so this bad boy is a double whammy. I’ve had it for months now and it’s held up well and does a good job at really working through the coat whilst being gentle on their skin and ensuring there are no tangles/matts & also pulling away loose hair.

Nice tool! My kitter friend loves it! Although she loves being brushed and combed in general, I have been using a regular comb and hair brush. at times a fork of all things to gently “scratch” her. The ones I was using did not fully grab that fine undercoat of her short fur; however, this does the trick and really does a good job.

This brush is a good design that is very easy to clean by push of a button. I never thought I would get that much fur from her short coat. It appears to satisfy the gentle scratching she likes with more coverage.

I noticed this slicker helped release little bits of dander as I brushed it all down to the nap of her tail end to collect it/wipe it off with a warm wet wash cloth. Her response is elevated from the usual love to a total gush, purrs and all.

almost to the point of overstimulation – she rubs all over it and gets engaged in the action and will even play and love bite it.

So ive tried a few different brushes for my short hair super shredder that gets hairballs. This cat never runs out of fluff. Most of his shedding is from his undercoat. I tried this, and VERY gently cause it is sharp and has blades.

It did work! Atleast way better than my regular comb and slicker brush. I got 5 times the undercoat fur off than I normally do and I wasnt brushing hard at all. If my boy would just try to enjoy the brushing I would probably get even more.

Try it out if you cant seem to get the undercoat with other brushes. Im happy with my purchase.

I have a large fairly hairy (thick!) Siamese cat, who never washes / cleans herself! Never had a cat who didn’t, but do now. She sheds something terrible, year-round. I’ve tried other brushes with not much result.

This too is so cool! She absolutely loves it when I brush her with it and I get so much hair off her. I don’t use the push button I just remove the hair with my hand as I go. Her coat is now shiny and I got most of the shed hair gone.

I also bought the rinse free Furminator deshedding shampoo and gave her her first shower/bath! She has an obsession with water to begin with so it was no big deal. She didn’t like it but didn’t give me much problem.

I wanted to wet her down good this first time since she’s bound to be quite dirty under the hairs. Both products are great. I’ll use the de-shedding tool on my dogs too.

I have two short-haired cats who shed a decent amount. I’ve tried many rubber brushes (like the hand mitt one) because I didn’t think they’d need a metal brush (being short-haired – thought it would be too much).

The thing with rubber brushes is they seem to get hair everywhere as you are brushing them. I wanted a brush that would aid in their grooming while eliminating fly-away fur. I read the reviews and decided to try this brush.

When it arrived I was worried it would be too hard/rough, but as long as you are gentle while brushing there are no issues. I LOVE THIS BRUSH! Picture is from our first use. There were zero fly-away hairs and this brush grabbed so much off of their coats.

Both of my cats were wanting to be brushed by it so they love it as well! If you have a very short-haired cat, I would not recommend this. I can’t say how this would be for long-haired cats, but for standard short-haired cats this brush is worth the price.

There is a button you can click for fur release but I find it doesn’t work that well. I don’t mind this because I just grab the fur directly off of the brush and add it to the pile as I go along, but if you’re wanting the brush for that feature please note it’s not super functional.

FURminator Long Hair Cat Deshedding Tool — This is amazing. The amount of hair it removes is astounding, yet it leaves the over coat intact. We use it outside because the cat hair floats everywhere even though most is caught in the brush.

It looks like it would cut hair, but does not. The over/guard hair passes through the comb and the under coat is gathered. It will take several brushings to cover the whole cat. Our cats get tired of the process and move on.

They don’t mind the tool any more than a regular brush. It is very easy to use on a medium/short haired cat, especially if they like to be brushed. Our LONG haired cat is more work. The tool works easily on long hair as well.

There is a slight resistance as you brush. It does not snag or pull unless there is a tangle or mat. We ordered this one because of the design. I don’t know if other less expensive models would be as effective, but if we order a second, we’d probably try one.

We have not used the hair ejector, so I don’t know if that works. You don’t really need it though.

We have 4 short hair orange cats who have incredibly thick fur and it gets everywhere, plus 2 other cats! I used wire slicker brushes and a fine-toothed metal comb in the past. The slicker brush didn’t really get the undercoat and they didn’t have a lot of patience for it.

The FURminator removes HUGE amounts of hair and undercoat! I sit on the floor and they flop down by me, with the others coming to stand in line for their turn! Cats who have never let me near them with a brush have lined up for me to use this after watching the others enjoying it so much.

I do use the slicker brush to gather the loose hair off of the cats while using the FURminator. Several of ours like to be vacuumed so I also keep that handy to frequently clean up the massive amounts of hair that is coming out.

I’m finally making some progress and seeing less fur sticking to the furniture, etc. >^. ^<.

I wanted to get something I use to help with my dobermans shedding. My black doberman sheds like crazy and my red doberman sheds a little. I debated between this and the “Furminator” for a few days. I thought that the “Furminator” was just too expensive, in my opinion.

But what if this “Furblaster” doesnt work at all, and then I end up having to buy the Furminator anyway. But then what if the “Furblaster” works great?! I would save money! So I decided to just go with the “Furblaster” and see what happens.

Wanna know what happened? Of course you do! A WHOLE LOT OF DESHEDDED HAIR!! Like an INSANE amount! I kept asking my dogs “how are you not bald yet?!?!” and they were like “We don’t know, and we don’t care! Just don’t stop brushing us because we are LOVING this!” At least I’m 100% positive that’s what they would have said.

ya know. if they could talk. Anyhoo. I am super impressed with this brush. I notice WAY less hair laying around the house, collecting in the corners, decorating my outfit of the day, permanently stuck to the interior seats of my truck like their glued onto the upholstery, floating in my coffee and somehow ending up in my mouth at the most random of times.

(Looking at you black doberman). NOW, I will say, the very first time I used this brush, even though I was floored by the amount of hair coming off of my dogs, it did stir up a massive amount of dander.

HOWER- both of my dogs struggled with flakey/dandruff-y shampoo and I had just bathed them with a new (super, phenomenally awesome) shampoo (from 4-Legger, totes recommend, not sponsored). So the fact that they both looked like I had just sprinkled table salt on them, wasn’t their best look.

But the more I used the brush, the better and better there coats got! It may gave been a double play between the brush and shampoo, but who knows. Either way, my dobermans are looking MAJESTIC AF, and I have way less dog hair around my house and in my truck.

The brush itself is super sturdy, good quality, doesnt feel cheap or like it’s going to fall apart. I love that the comb part comes off for easy cleaning as well. And even though the main structure of the brush is plastic, I definitely expect it to last a VERY long time as long as one of the dogs stops thinking it’s the worlds greatest toy and trying to run away with it in his mouth.

This is a decent tool for brushing my American Bulldog. He has straight, short hair that is almost like quills. He sheds a decent amount and when he itches or shakes it is noticeable especially in the spring time when losing that winter coat.

This tool helps get rid of that loose hair.

i wasn’t sure it was working at first, it seemed so light but after a little while of my cat arching her back and shaking her tail (she’s picked up some doggy traits, tail wagging is joy for her) while I brushed her, there was a good amount of shedding collected.

it’s easy on my hand and so slick it doesn’t pull any hair. it went smoothly with the grain, no need to really work at it, an angle helps but it’s quick to figure out. i think we’re both happy with it and i noticed compared to similar tools on here it’s alot less expensive.

on top of that there’s a card with an easy warranty, a free training ebook talking about behaviours as well, and even a discount on your next purchase. i’m glad i picked this one and i feel like the company is great too.

I’ve been using my ZoomGroom brush for many years now, and it’s one of my favorite gifts to special friends. The shape fits right into the palm of your hand, and the whole brush is made out of soft rubbery stuff, might be silicone.

The soft, pliable bristles pick up the loose undercoat hairs that cause all those icky nasty hairballs, while providing an enjoyable massage for your fur baby. And because they are so soft and pliable, they won’t scratch or tear your baby’s very thin and delicate skin.

I find ZoomGroom especially good for older cats who have lost weight and muscle mass due to renal failure or other ailments. My 16-year-old has lost so much weight that it has become difficult to provide a good scratching over her bony back.

This brush gives her a safe and gentle massage that she just loves. I especially like to treat her to a good brushing after I’ve given her meds or fluids. It’s so nice to be able to do something for her that makes her so happy.

My kitties, and I, as well, love this brush. It is soft enough to not irritate the skin, I don’t worry about damaging the eye or mouth area, and it is excellent at grabbing and trapping loose hair. My “mature” cat has short, thick hair and he loves the massage factor.

My long-haired kitten would sit still for seemingly hours while I pamper him. They each get a daily grooming session to prevent those pesky hairballs. I had one of these, I just purchased two more. Another one for me and one for my friend who also has a long-haired kitty friend.

This is a the last pet brush you will buy for your cat/ kitten!! It picks up every strand of loose hair, without it being on you, or your clothes, up your nose, dander in your eyes, you all get what am saying.

And getting the small kitten that has now formed out of the cat hair in brush is easy and stays together. The “rubber ” like material it is made of its soft and there is no possible way, unless intended, that this comb will hurt your baby.

Worth every penny. And extremely durable, especially against pointy teeth that like to naw and rub their faces and chins (with long fangs, no not my fiance!), in the comb since it feels good!!.

Stuck it on a corner by their room, they like it but it would be a bit better for them it if was a bit longer/taller to allow them to rub against it easier. It came with a small catnip bag which is nice touch.

Catnip is a bit old/dry appearing, but if you rub it to crush it a bit it helps with releasing the smell for the cats. Overall – it was a good buy.

Sparky uses it everyday. He wanted me to tell you that he enjoys grooming himself instead of having to wait for me to come home from work. He also said the catnip does not make a difference, that he would use it even if it did not have catnip in it.

I like it because now he does not leave a brown spot on the corner of the kitchen wall — ugh!.

I thought for sure this was going to be just another product that is garbage. I was so wrong. My cats cannot stay away from it!! They love it! Yeeet

This grooming kit is a God sent. Both my cats have long hair. I love cats but I am also allergic to them. Hair management is important and this grooming kit has a tool to thin out the undercoat (the one that sheds).

I could not believe how much it takes off. Both Dexter & Phoebe are relaxed during their grooming. I live in an air conditioned environment in the north of Thailand and both are kept cool until we go for a walk.

I have noticed that they now are more comfortable since I started removing their undercoat and I can keep the indoor temperature a little bit warmer. I save money too. Seriously, great quality product but would you expect any less from CatIt?.

Good price for all the different pieces, solid brushes and case. very nice quality. The cat approved very much of all the included brushes. Container to store it all in is also very nice. Would recommend.

I am very happy with the grooming kit it’s very well made and everything that’s needed for your cat. The only thing there are no scissors in the kit.

I have a very, very spoiled kitty, so I decided to get this for her since she loves being brushed by hand. At first, she would just chew on it, but once she learned how to actually use it she went crazy for it! The packaging looked brand new, the item was in great condition, and it shipped quickly.

I’m also surprised shipping was so cheap, because this is kind of a heavier item (because of the bottom, carpeted post). These usually run around $10-15 in the store, and I got this one for $12 and didn’t even have to leave my house.

I haven’t had it long. Maybe it’s better for kittens. My cats are over 13 and the big fellow (18 pounds) who doesn’t chew on things really likes this. His stomach of course does not. The little girl who loves to have her face brushed I was really hoping would love it.

Maybe in time. For now they lost it because of the “surprises” left on the floor. Hey, it’s a good deal and worth giving it some time.

My cat is over 18 years old, and health isn’t that great, but she’s okay. She loves for me to brush along side her mouth, so I thought this would be perfect for her to rub where ever she wanted. Maybe the bristles aren’t stiff enough or something, but she tried to use it once, and hasn’t tried again.

She prefers me brushing her. So it’s a little hard to rate this. I do think however, for a young, active cat, they would probably enjoy this!.

I have a lab that sheds and the brush and deshed tool work effortlessly. The coolest product out there and so glad I bought it. Also used on my friends Frenchie and she hates vacuums (barks and bites at them) he didn’t say a word to this and sat/stood nicely while we gave him a brush down.

The machine comes apart easy for cleaning and goes back together. There is a bag to keep all the attachments for easy storage. If you need something that you can use daily to brush and keep hair at bay.

I have a hard time paying a groomer to hundreds of dollars when all I want is to take a little hair off from time to time. I have a GSD that must be muzzled, and takes days to get over grooming (hugest baby).

These scissors are professional grade and since I do a lot of needle work I can appreciate a good pair of scissors. Many different attachments allows me comfort of how close I want to get. These are very sharp! There is a guard to assist with not hurting your dog.

The direction have pictures and really helped me to get my dog to be calm on my first try. Okay. I am not a groomer but she is my protector/companion not in a beauty show. She is gorgeous and very thankful for a product that has helped us be more comfortable.

This kit cuts our dog’s fine fur well and quietly with its variety of length spacers. I am glad to have purchased it and will use it often. The customer service of Chewy was, as always, excellent. I recommend both Chewy and the kit.

The kit certainly beats trying to trim our dog with an electric trimmer.

Pro: I never nicked or cut the little guy when I used it. Wiggly guy at times, and I’m glad the plastic guards kept him from injury. I was able to safely snip out matted areas. Con: I couldn’t produce any type of even haircut.

I was a bit skeptical that this tool would be much different than the brush and comb I’d been using on my heavy shedder. He has a low tolerance level for grooming tactics from his humans and you just watch the hair float around (and stick to hands, clothes, everything).

Well he loves his daily furminator sessions to the point he will come and remind me if we miss one. And after a week of grooming about 15 minutes per day I noticed he is shedding significantly less and his fur is silky.

After two weeks, the amount of fur coming out is much less and he doesn’t seem to itch all the time like he had. I have only tried it on dry fur (I don’t own enough bandaids to shampoo him :). But it has exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend.

One note, take your time to find their comfort zone on the way you use the tool and don’t try to over do it on the first session. Let you and your kitty get use to it.

I used to have this very fat cat with thick coarse hair. Due to her size hair type, it was hard to clean everywhere enough so she would end up having these big clumps of hair that were the size of golf balls on her fur.

Brushing didn’t even make a dent, so i used to cut them down as much as possible but the skin would be so delicate in that area it knew it was hurting her just to touch it, I had to find a new way to help her.

I tried regular brushes hair removing gloves but they either didn’t work at all or they only worked by removing the loose hair already on the surface. For Christmas, years back, my brother gave me the shed magic deshedder.

He actually used it for his dogs who had long hair said it worked well. I tried it out the next day it removed so much bulk of her hair seriously cut down those clumps to manageable pieces where I could then cut them off easily.

It works great but it would be even better for smaller breeds and shorter fuzzy undercoated dogs if the blades were a little closer together. Other than that this has been my best go to for deshedding dogs.

I really like this Shed Magic tool. There are two different ones, one with the little teeth and one with just the rake. I like the one with the little teeth.

Thank heavens for this thing! Why oh why did I struggle so long with other sucky dog nail trimmers/grinders before getting this? This is the quiet yet powerful dog nail grinder I needed for my beloved-yet-curmudgeonly older dog, who has gotten us kicked out of vet and groomer nail trimming sessions because he just wouldn’t have it.

Sure, it still makes noise, it is a power tool after all, but it’s much more quiet compared to other, less powerful products of this type. I tried less powerful grinder tools because they were battery powered but they didn’t do the job at all.

I thought I would mind the cord on this one but I don’t. It’s long enough, it’s fine, and it gives you the power! Plus it has the guard, which is good. Because it is so powerful, you really have to be sure to only use it for a second or two on each nail before moving on to another nail, otherwise it heats the nail up and it’s actually painful for your dog.

IF you’re not careful, you can actually burn the quick (toes) from the inside as the friction heats up the nail, so I just touch the grinder to each nail for a few seconds at a time and make my way down the line of nails, doing a little bit each day.

Even in just a few seconds, you can see the nail getting shorter — this thing really works. Also be sure to trim the fur around the nails first, so that this powerful grinder doesn’t catch it up and pull the hair.

My dog is so frightened of having his nails done that I had to use treats for 2-3 weeks to get him used to the grinder, first with it powered off, letting me just touch the grinder to his paws without turning it on.

Then I turned it on and held it up to the nails without touching them, so that he could get used to the sound, and gave him treats. 5 minutes at a time, 2-3x day, with this training. Now he lets me do his nails no problem.

I can’t believe it. Who knows what my dog is really thinking, but I could swear he feels much more comfortable and happy to finally have his nails trimmed down.

I received these products for free from @ConairPro and @Influenster in exchange for my honest review. I received (3) different products from ConairPro Pet but I tested 2 items on both Dogs and Cats This opinion is strictly for the Conair Pro Small Soft Slicker Brush.

The ConairPro brush says it’s for dogs under 30lbs but I say the ConairPro Pet Brush is meant for dogs under 20lbs. The brush head was perfect for brushing my cats but the head was too small for brushing my dog of 20 lbs.

The ConairPro Pet ergonomic brush handle is made of gel and very comfortable to hold. The brush handle was a perfect fit for my small hands so if you have large hands you will want to check the handle and head of the larger brushes before you make the purchase.

I thought It was the most comfortable handle I have used on a pet brush. I wish my personal hairbrush had the same handle. The head of the brush has small comfort tips so not to injure your pets skin or pull its hair.

I recommend the ConairPro Soft Slicker Brush to others but suggest people pay close attention to the size for your pet and check the size of the handle. I enjoyed this brush and would purchase it in the future.

This ConairPro Pet Brush is easy to use and did a great job brushing my pets fur without pulling or scratching their skin. My only complaint on the ConairPro Pet Small Brush is the size of the brush head.

I absolutely love this brush and so do ny pets. They get really excited when its time to brush them! I love the soft grip memory gel handle as it gives me good control and makes it difficult to drop when my animals are moving around.

It removes all tangles and any mat my animals coat with ease. The little sift black plastic pins don’t scratch or hurt ny animals like some of the other metal ones I’ve used. When used regularly, I’ve noticed it significantly reduces shedding on both my cats and dogs.

The brushes small design makes it perfect for animals under 35-35 lbs. My pets actually enjoy grooming now, all thanks to the Conaiir Pet Pro line! I received this product free from Influenster and Conair Pro Pet in exchange for my honest opinion.

I purchased this Dremel Nail Grinder because I did not like the last one I ordered. This one really needs a guard. I’m actually a bit scared to use this one because 2 out of 3 times that I’ve used it, the nail kept slipping off.

One time, the nail slipped off and went under the grinder making it grind the top part of the nail. It could be that I just need more experience with it, but it is hard to get experience when I’m scared I will hurt my dogs and my dogs are now scared of it.

Since using this nail grinder, the grooming training has needed to take several steps back. One of my dogs was at the point where I could get through one paw, before needing to take a break, and now I can’t even get through one nail without a break.

The other dog, I was able to get 2 paws done without a break, and now she starts shaking and drooling when she sees the tool. This is probably a great tool for a lot of people, but does not work for me.

I was really hoping this would be the last one I would have to purchase.

We use this at my grooming salon, i highly recommend! I read a few comments about some issues, when the sand paper strip comes off when in use it means its not tightened all the way and you just need to tighten it to keep it on! The assembly may be a bit confusing, just try to keep everything in order when taking apart 🙂 also not every dog likes a grind! Its loud, puts pressure on the nail, and vibrates their leg, i wouldnt like it either.

It takes time to get them used to it and some dogs just simply dont like it no matter how much theyre exposed to it. Also the battery life! This has one of the batteries where if you charge it constantly or keep it charged after it reaches 100% it will destroy the battery life, just take it off the charger as soon as you notice its done.

All in all i highly recommend this grinder, its better than some of the others ive used.

I bought this a while back for my old dog who has since passed away. She had black nails and it seemed like I cut the quick, every time I cut her nails. If you have done this, you know how traumatized you and your dog get while trying to stop the bleeding.

I thought this tool was the answer for this issue. It seemed alright for the one time that I used it. I recently charged it up to use on my puppy and it would not fully charge. The green light just keeps blinking and never turns to solid green.

I believe it has something to do with the contacts on the battery and the charger. I don’t understand it because it was stored away in it’s original box. So now, it’s pretty much useless!.

Absolutely loving this brush. I have bought so many trying to get rid of all the loose hair on my Rottie x Staffy and this is the only one that works. It loosens the hair and also pulls it together so I can easily pick it up and throw it in the bin.

Throw everything else out, this is all you need!.

My cat usually only let me brush him with my fingers but still not for long, and hides whenever he sees a brush. Not anymore, he enjoyed being brush by this brush and I can brush him longer than using my fingers, hair comes out easily & brush easy to clean, very happy!.

Finn my cat can’t get enough of this brush, he goes into complete bliss mode purring and contented, will actually try and cut in on the dog being brushed. The amount of hair this gets out is unbelievable, and it’s great on carpets and clothes to remove hair using the back side.

Definitely recommend this one.

I have three outdoor cats, and I wasn’t really concerned about helping them groom until I got my long-haired cat. He has very thick fur, so he gets mats, tangles, and hairballs. I thought I would help him out and got this brush.

I like the wood, eco-friendly handle, but the reason this got 4 stars instead of 5 was the bristles. They are rather sharp and I was nervous about hurting him, so I brushed rather lightly. I know this is to penetrate the undercoat better but I’d rather play it safe.

This didn’t catch as much fur as I thought it would, but it was surprisingly good at catching loose ticks. I pulled THREE off of him in our first brushing session. If they revised this brush to have the penetrating but softer bristles, I would get it.

I ordered this because I liked that the handle was not plastic. Unfortunately the brush has sharp, straight metal bristles. I don’t think our two cats (one long hair and the other one has short hair) will like the feeling.

There may be some cats who will have no issue with the stiffness. There were no good photos so I didn’t know what to expect. I’ve seen some metal bristle brushes slightly bent and softer to the touch.

I gave it two stars because the bamboo handle is nice.

My long hair cat LOVES her new brush. She purrs and purrs while she is being brushed, and we are doing it at least once, if not twice a day. Great at detangling/loosening matted areas and then removing loose/shedding hair to prevent future matting.

Bristles are “pointy” against my skin, so I fully get why others with shorthair cats don’t like it. Would not use on my shorthairs.

This is the only brush that my cats have ever genuinely liked – and all of them like it, even though they each have very different coats. It’s also perfect for synthetic fur, since it organizes any pile length without being rough on the backer.

I have one copy for textiles, and one copy for my cats. I swear by this brush, and this brush alone.

I have two cats, one who will swiftly slap my hand if I dare try to bring this within arms length of her. The second cat on the other hand LOVES this thing. He’s a very touchy cat and loves to be the center of the world, and this is apparently the most amazing thing, over chin scratches or butt scratches.

He’s rendered almost useless and immobile by the mere sight of this brush and what is about to come. My only beef is that this bad boy loosens sooooo much hair, but doesn’t collect almost any of it, so I need a second brush to gather all the extra hair that’s coming out with.

Just received this today. My kitty loved it. Purred the whole time, rubbed her cheek against it, snuggled up to me so I could brush her some more, etc. Despite already being brushed this morning, she produced a furball the size of a hamster, and she’s not an excessively furry cat.

As a fun bonus, she didn’t try to eat it. Weird, but she’s obsessed with bristly things. She’s tried to eat all three of her other brushes and my Christmas tree.

i have a short haired cat who i brush almost every day, but this brush strangely seems to loosen up even MORE hair kinda like a furminator. cat likes it ok not any more than any other brush. my only complaint is that since the bristles are so big and far apart that it doesnt capture any of the hair, just pulls it out and then it goes flying everywhere like a hair blizzard lol.
