20 Best Cataract Eye Drops (2022 Updated)

It cleared up the blurriness of my left eye. My right eye is still very blurry. I can now see that there is printing on the TV screen ib the commercials. My right eye is a lot better than it was before using these eye drops every 8 hours.

I recommend this seller. At least I can read the letters on my keyboard again.

However, even though my eyes seem a tad more ‘brilliant’ after two weeks I wouldn’t say the cloudiness in my right eye looks any less cloudy. Of course, that is only 2 weeks. Also, in no way are there 400 drops in the vials.

First vial lasted the first week. I used one drop in each eye, four times per day. That is 8 drops per day. There are two vials. If they are meaning there are 200 drops per vial? 8 x 10 is 80, not 200.

Two vials. 160 drops, not 400. Also, seems to dry up so won’t squeeze out as a drop and drip straight down. Sometimes won’t come out at all. Sometimes drips out and misses my eye even though bottle is straight above my eye.

Even the way the bottle is punctured is wierd. You need to remove a collar, screw it down so an internal nail punctures a hole, then replace the collar. This means, if you try putting bottle in your pocket to use it at work, it must leak out of hole into area inside spout.

Thought that might be why it went down so fast, so second bottle, I never tipped. Still disappeared fast. But I still reordered. I believe my eyes are clearer than they were before I started using these drops.

Time will tell, though. It has only been 2 weeks, so far. I think, if I keep using them, that my cataracts will end-up being clearer than they had been. Willdefinitely be able to tell ;so if they don’t improve it should be obvious.

My dog had thick cloudy cataracts. Her eyes looked completely white. The vet said she was blind and surgery wouldn’t make much of a difference because the cataracts destroyed the blood vessels that fed the eye blood and oxygen.

But I did my own research and found this product. It took about a year, giving her drops 4 times a day. One eye is clear but the other has a bit more to go. It is a great feeling to see her looking around again.

I can tell she is so much happier being able to see. Her eyesight isn’t perfect, but it has made a dramatic difference. She now goes around things instead of bumping into them. I will continue to use this product and highly recommend it.

I have been using this Repairian stuff for over a half year now to try and get rid of cataracts in my mini schnauzer’s eyes, and all I can say about them is that it keeps them from progressing even more, and that would end in her being totally blind.

I tried other similar products that “claimed” similar results or even claim that cataracts would be gone after a couple months. They didn’t work at all. Repairan is supposed to have one of the highest amounts of N-Acetyl-Carnosine @ 4.

2%, and that seems to be what is needed to keep chronic cases of cataracts from getting worse, or even get them to diminish or even disappear in some cases; but so far, in my case, it is my opinion that Repairan is the best on Ebay to do what it says.

I can only point out that without using Repairan my dogs eyes would be way worse than they are, so I will continue its use and see what happens.

My 11yo Yorkie was getting more and more hesitant about jumping up or down, either to get on or off the sofa or the porch steps for potty. Blue cataracts filled almost both irises and while I was adding Eyebright herbal remedy to her food, there was no improvement.

After Can-C was recommended to me by a friend who had used it successfully on her old Chihuahua, I decided to buy the lubricant formula. Within days of applying 1 drop in each eye at bedtime, my fur baby’s eyes were noticeably brighter and clearer.

I’ve been using the drops for two weeks and I’ve noticed a major difference. My eye doesn’t get cloudy anymore; also when I wake up from a night’s sleep my eye doesn’t feel like there’s matter in there.

I definitely recommend this fine product if you’d like to rid yourself cataracts without surgery.

Have used bright eyes a few times as have cataracts on both eyes. over a three year period ,have had three boxes in total. Had an eye test last week and have been told left eye cataract is barely visible.

so I’m now using them on my right eye as I’m blind in this eye. the optician couldn’t See past this cataract to see inside. Can see a lot clearer at night i. e. Lights don’t have a fuzzy halo around them anymore would recommend anyone that doesn’t want to risk surgery like me to try it.

Just be cautious on initial use (try it on your poorest eye first) to see if you have a reaction. not that I’ve heard of anyone having one.

I had sight-saving surgery 10 years ago, then developed a cataract. Reluctant to risk another procedure, I gave these eye drops a try and have never regretted it. Have the patience to persist, then continue on a maintenance dose, as I do.

I have used this product for some time now and find it keeps the cateracts at a reasonable level enough to avoid surgery. Although I have said the drops are good value, they are expensive but appear to do the job they promise.

It would probably be less expensive to just have the surgery (private) but I want to avoid it so do not have a choice.

Vision clearer after one week of use. Time will tell if it eradicates my cataract. Fingers crossed, looks good so far.

Just to let you all know the product doesn’t sting eyes. I put it in my own eye before I would even consider using it on my Fur Babies. So I can assure you it doesn’t hurt at all. But I have used it on my Pup and she had a Cataract about the size of a BB and I am noticing that Cataract looks like it’s starting to break up.

The hardest part now is catching my Pup off guard to put drops in. I do suggest you put drops in when your pet is calm and try to keep them calm. If you chase them down and force drops you will loose the pets trust and we never want such a thing to happen.

I do believe that these drops work and I suggest that you buy the two pack of drops. We are almost through are first bottle but we are seeing it start to work. I hope this helps with your decision in helping your best friend see clearly again.

I have used Can-eye drops for one and half years. I started using Can- c capsules ten months ago from April 2019. I have seen improvement in my vision. The progress is slow but nevertheless very good.

I believe that I can avoid surgery. I have a problem with my eye doctor. In my last visit, she suggested surgery saying that my cataracts is getting worse. I personally don’t believe her because I know that my vision today is better than one and half years ago.

I suspect that some eye doctors has personal financial benefit from Cataracts surgery. Do not be forced or tricked to do cataracts surgery. Don’t give all your trust to eye doctors.

Awesome eye drops. It works and work fast. I use it for 3 months and see a positive result. My dry eyes symptoms disappeared and my cat cataracts gone as well. Corneal sequestrom in right eye of my cat just faded and moving ups and downs, but not eliminated yet.

I am going to continue to use eye drops up to 11 months.

I have been using Can-C for several years for my 18year old poodle and they have helped keep his vision from totally going blind. Because of the Can-C drops, Jake can still play and run up our 300ft mountaintop driveway.

I only wish there was something to actually “melt” the cataracs ! then Jake would be like a puppy -again.

Price seems to be fixed. No real competition. But, drops reportedly can reverse the growth of cataracts, and don’t seem to have adverse side-effects. Worth it if true. As to the little, plastic “drop guide”, found it to be of little help.

I found the built-in dropper to be more effective and easier to use. Just tilt your head back, position the dropper end of the bottle exactly above your eye, and gently squeeze the bottle for a single drop.

Our nearly 10 year old yorkie was having trouble seeing. She had a milky foam ( cataracts ) in both eyes. She was running into things, getting lost in the house cause she couldn’t see where she was going, falling, etc.

We started carrying her cause she just couldn’t see well. Our son found Can-C and we read the reviews and decided to try it. My son gives her 1 drop in each eye twice a day. Possibly this product will work for some people, mine being a stage 3 cataract with stage 4 being the worst, mine was pretty far advanced, and I simply could not make up my mind whether it helped or not.

Initially I thought maybe it did, then as the halos around lights continued to grow I started to feel it wan’t doing very much. I was also taking the caplets that accompany this product to maximise effect.

As a slightly expensive eye wetting product that was easily usable with soft contact lenses it was worth the experiment. My chief gripe would be the unpredictability of the drop delivery. Sometimes you had to squeeze and squeeze, other times it would almost gush out.

The slight sting on application is no biggy. If you have early stage cataracts it is certainly worth spending a few bucks to see if it will slow things down at the very least. Having now had one cataract removed I could not believe the improvement in clarity of vision.

Due to my location mine was done on a volunteer basis by Doctors visiting from the USA, and I can only express my gratitude for their efforts. Those who might have pay large sums for the operation might find this product worth the expense, but I am under the impression it is an ongoing expense as I have read other users reports that stopping itsuse allows the cataract to return.

I have been using this preparation for about two months now, and it appears to be having a beneficial effect. This stuff is expensive, and the little bottles it comes in do not make it easy to administer the required number of drops to each eye of a 70 pound Labrador retriever.

There needs to be a more reliable method to measure the dose into some kind of applicator, and a positive method to activate it. Trying to squeeze these little bottles to apply a single drop at a time to a struggling animal is not easy, and waste occurs.

A separate old-style medicine dropper marked in milliliters, with a soft rubber bulb, would enable you to draw up the required dose and then apply it with a positive squeeze, instead of struggling with a stiff plastic bottle.

I do believe I see improvement in my dog’s eyes, and in his behavior (noticing things he did not see before) and I plan to continue using this product (currently on my second set of two bottles) for at least a few more months.

It is a slow process, but well worth it. My buddy is 14 years old, and still scampers like a puppy when he’s happy, so giving him the best life I can is the goal. PLEASE find a way to offer this in a bottle with a clear glass medicine dropper.

My dog just turned 17 and her cataracts were severe. They looked almost solid white and appeared to be swelling. She constantly had tears running because of them. After looking up non surgical remedies for her cataracts, I came across this product.

About 23 or so years ago I had accidentally & mistakenly gotten bleach in my eyes by rubbing my eyes with my hands that had a strong solution of bleach water on them. I was rushed to an eye doctor as the outer layer of my eyeballs had protruded and were sticking out.

NAC reversed damage in eyes.

I have been using this product since it first entered the market. It has been effective in clearing cataracts in my cats during this time. I recently had a kitten who became infected during the opening of her eyes.

At first she was just beautiful. Great big copper eyes. then a couple of days later they were closed with infection. The infection was treated and cleared but there was damage to the cornea. Knowing that eye surgery could not be done until she was older I began using the drops 2-3 times a day.

It does not happen right away. Takes a lot of time and patience. The kitten was completely blind. Now the kitten has vision and clear eyes. Undersized, but considering.

Our old (17 years old) Yorkie developed very cloudy eyes & thick leathery senile cataracts. He became blind, confused, falling in the swimming pool almost daily and generally listless. Our vet determined he is not a candidate for cataract surgery and his vision is severely impaired.

I am almost through the first vial and my cat’s eyes are looking better. He is less squinty, his eyes are clearer and he has less discharge. The applicator is easy to use as it restricts the amount dispensed to a single drop at a time.

These are okay and not much different from every other allergy eye drop I have tried. All the eyedrops all mediocre. I have not found an allergy eyedrop that I would give five stars..

Our dog had cataract surgery in October; his vet recommended these drops for antiinflammatory effects. Best price I found, when I could find it! Tried other sites but did not have, including Amazon, Pet Meds ad Chewy pharmacy.

This product Diclofenaco eye drops seems to do the trick for my 15 year old Pom. She just recently was diagnosed Diabetic and she went blind. These drops seem to ease the eye irritation and keep the pressure under control The way customer service handled my order by not following up with my Vet to get the prescription was a little disconcerting.

Even after I called the vet and they sent the form over – it came in with no prescription info on they still didn’t check until I had made a number of calls. I called on afternoon and was dropped a couple of times the last call I was put on hold – that went to a drop of the call and when I called back they were closed.

This medicine was used for my Sharpei dog who had been scheduled weeks ahead for operation for Entropia on both of her lower eyelids. Entropia is when the eyelid folds into the eye and causes irritation.

For some dogs it could be both lids on both eyes. One eye was worse than the other on her. Her eyelashes would scratch her eye so she would wince it closed all the time and it would cry. My dog asked for the ointment after her meals as she knew it would help.

The only thing that scared me was that it is a steroid and I know from medicines for humans that it causes thinning of the skin so I would add a small amount and other times I would give her a big enough glob to coat a bit thicker if we were going to be out for a long while.

I was told by the doctor no more medicine after the operation, so a small tube can go a long way (3weeks) with liberal applications. The customer service at VetRxDirect was wonderful.
