20 Best Catch Seafood Market (2022 Updated)

Tasty salmon. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t say I can taste dill or lemon, it tastes mostly of black pepper. Still great, just not what I expected. The pepper does add a bit of heat. Comparing this to a similar product, I am surprised away the difference in calories/ nutritional values, this one had more protein and fat compared to the same quantity of the other product.

I prefer this one, the other one is dry compared to this. I would buy again. If this is useful, please give a thumbs-up. Thank you.

I finally got around to trying one of the sample packs sent to me in an earlier order. I didn’t think I was going to like them. The packets are quite easy to open, no scissors needed. I used one packet of the citrus dill salmon on a large bed of mixed fresh greens seasoned only with salt, pepper, olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

It was just the right amount of protein to add in my salad. And it was delicious!! I ate the 2nd packet the very next evening.

I see this more as a marketing gimmick than anything else. Packaging-wise, this product mimics how products like Ortiz Ventresca looks, though the Ventresca is, admittedly, 3 times the price. Due to the similar packaging, I was expecting similar or “close to” quality.

In my opinion, Natural Catch does not come anywhere close to Ortiz Ventresca, though, reading the reviews, one would think it did. Back to content size. It’s only 3 ounces of tuna and that tuna, while it is packaged nicely, does not taste much better than any store bought tuna.

Even the smallest cans of tuna I have bought contain 4 ounces of fish, some even more. The company also claims its tuna is lower in mercury than other brands and claims this is so due to the fish being line caught in shallower waters and not net caught at greater depths.

There are many other brands that line catch their tuna, so I do not think this claim can be substantiated on any broad spectrum. Plus, if I have read their product line in full, it appears that Natural Catch offers only Albacore and Yellowfin tuna options.

It is my understanding that Skipjack tuna is much lower in mercury regardless of how it is caught. I appreciate the “filet” look of the serving but, due to the small actual fish amount and only marginal (if that) better taste, I will not be purchasing again.

I spent a good chunk of time standing in local grocery stores looking at all the canned seafood like tune, oysters, sardines, etc. I was completely shocked when I saw all the ingredients in store bought tuna and where they were sourced from, i.

e. China, Turkey, etc. I saw an advertisement for Natural Catch and as I started my research into them, I was totally shocked by the ingredients used compared to store bought tuna. I compared prices with store bought versus Natural Catch and I was paying around $0.

40 – $0. 50 more for Natural Catch but the quality is what I was seeking overall. The shipping was very quick and Natural Catch covered shipping costs because of the quantity I ordered. The package actually arrived on my birthday and that was one of the best birthday presents I had ever purchased for myself.

The taste was absolutely amazing and probably the best canned tuna, maybe tuna period, I had ever tasted!!! After it’s all said and done, I truly don’t think I will ever purchase store bought tuna again and will probably only purchase from Natural Catch for my canned tuna needs.

I like the philosophy that “Health is Wealth” and even though it’s food in a can, what was put in that can and how it was prepared is what matters most in my opinion, Natural Catch definitely hits the mark when it comes to quality, thank you!.

Every time I open a can I still do not believe that it’s actually cheaper than bumblebee and starkish gold cans or whatever their top tuna is. I have come across a little treat that I would like to share with you.

Use whatever you like but I use the Walmart Cali flower and broccoli Frozen package 5 minutes in the microwave microwave and while it’s cooking it’s cooking i chop up celery carrot’s pepper’s jicama cucumbers or whatever’s crunchy and 90% water.

Then when the microwave grows off I pour the veggies in a bowl I pour the tuna and the oil on top add some seasonings, braggs and hot sauce and start chopping away. together it is the best snack, A plate of crunchy veggies and a bowl Of tuna, broccoli, caulilower.

With healthy Olive oil and I use hot sauce season pepper and brags liquid aminos. One last thing does anybody ever made tuna salad out of this out of this? I’d like to give it a try on my way is it’s so much easier and faster.

I wanted to place my cats on a healthy food and I expected to pay more for it, but I’m not sure how long I can afford the $2 per can price which seems to have gone up. My 2 cats go through 1 can in the am and one in the pm, but I may be switching them to one in the am only and dry food in the evening b/c this is getting pricey and the point of getting them online is to get a better deal than pet supplies plus which they sell it there also.

I counted the amount of cans that arrived dented and more than half of them were dented last time – not sure what’s going on with that but you would think with a high quality product that it would be safe to eat.

in the meantime, I’ll be looking for another brand that has healthy ingredients, clean eating for my cats. if I could learn how to process chicken with nutrients for them, I’d start doing it myself b/c the price is getting ridiculous and they have teeth problems as well that I need to take them to the dentist about.

Wow, I am soooo glad I went to my local pet supply store because I’ve been wanting to change from Hills Science Diet Urinary/Hairball canned food, but couldn’t find the right product for my sensitive tummy cats.

The staff said Science Diet was their least favorite product due to all of the fillers, even in canned, and this brand is one of their favorites. SOLD! My two senior cats beg for this food! It’s so nice seeing them want food, vs leaving some in their bowl to dry up.

It actually LOOKS like shredded chicken and doesn’t stink, whereas Science Diet smelled gross and was brown mush. It’s been 4 days and NO pukies! Winning! I think they like me even more now too 😉 Wish I had made this switch sooner.

I’ve also ordered the green can with chicken and potatoes, so we’ll see how welcomed that one is. This can is chicken and liver, ew. But, they ARE cats. Moral of this review is, even with “sensitive tummies,” this could be the product your cats are needing (I even tried the raw frozen nuggets – nope, pukies).

It’s holistic, simple, well priced, and not gross – nailed it! (My girl cat must be allergic to fish, so I stick with chicken; there are several varieties in this brand) Hopefully some kitties out there will benefit from this review, because don’t we all want happy and healthy fur babes?.

My cats love Earthborn and normally we feed them the blue can. I picked up some other varieties at a local pet shop to see if they liked any other flavors. They loved the orange one so I decided to order a case from Chewy.

Well suddenly they will no longer eat it. I dont know what the difference is between the cans at my local pet shop versus the cans from Chewy but it is very strange. As others have said these ones also have a lot more liquid in them.

Some of the fish is in huge chunks and my cats struggle when trying to eat it. Huge waste of money since this stuff is not cheap. Will stick with the green cans.

Very satisfied with this purchase. I’m a fan of canned sardines, and tuna. However, if you’re following a AIP or Paleo lifestyle, then you know grabbing one off the shelf of your average grocery store is a no go.

So I was pleasantly surprised to see this brand of sardines and to find they were safe to consume on AIP/Paleo. Even better, is that they are already “cleaned” so no bones of skin to remove before cooking up.

It’s also pretty full! A lot comes in the can so it’s completely worth the price. And the taste is really good! I will be buying a lot more in the future.

Excellent quality and flavour. On the ‘tuna spectrum,’ it’s closer to high-end restaurant tuna steak than deli tuna salad. It seems more expensive than other brands, but actually, this is how much tuna should cost: Tuna isn’t the ‘chicken of the sea’ or a limitless resource, and over-fishing tuna has been disastrous for our ocean ecosystems.

We should pay for and treat tuna like what it really is: an occasional treat to splurge on, not a ubiquitous staple.

I like that this is low-sodium and mercury tested. Also love the small size can (some salmon comes in way too big amounts). and the flip-top lid is convenient. I would just say it had a slightly metallic taste, but I have a few more cans so maybe it was just that one batch.

Or the way I mashed it with a fork to mix up with yogurt? Either way, I will give it another try because it’s hard to find low-sodium salmon at the grocery store.

I am pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste of the salmon. Fish has not been my favorite protein but it is pretty easy to find ways to prepare this that are very enjoyable. I also noticed that the protein and omega-3s really seem to help my recovery after hard training days which speaks to the quality.

It is also a great portion size and very convenient for a fast and portable source of protein.

MMMMMMM this is best canned salmon I’ve had, though I’ve primarily had Great Value and Double Q (which are very good value, but much drier and also slightly fishier). What I really like about this is how tender it is, not too fishy but distinctly salmon (yes, it is arguably fishier than tuna), but in my opinion, very close to cooked, uncanned salmon.

It’s also very juicy; Safe catch tuna are quite dry. I made some delicious onigiri (rice balls) with this and loved it. Definitely going to buy more of Safe Catch’s salmon from now on!!! This was also very hard to find at local stores — my nearby Safeway, Whole Foods carried the tuna products but not the salmon, when the salmon is definitely my fav, far better than the tuna since it’s so moist, and worth every penny! I am an associate of Walmart.

Read great reviews and bought 2 cans. I was very disappointed and called the number on the can to complain. Nobody was there to answer so I left a message with my phone number and never heard back. I tried the first can only to find a milky broth with only the slightest specks of what I thought were clam bits and a couple specks of corn.

I returned the unopened can to the Market Basket where I bought them without a problem. Bar Harbor chowder is a complete and total rip-off. Never again !.

Look, I know that Walmart isn’t a Wegmans or, a Whole Foods. But this trend of buying canned Clam Chowder and finding out it’s really just crumbly potatoes and bits of jerky, is starting wear on me. As for the look of the soup….

it’s uhh, unpleasant at first, but after boiling or microwaving it it should look better. The taste isn’t too bad, I added crackers to it a d I thought it was fine. Still though It’s mostly potatoes.

Okay so I know this is probably a bit overly dramatic sounding but I’m a Mainer and I ordered the New England style clam chowder, I really did not like this Rhode Island kind, it’s so different, I feel like you could’ve at least substituted for another brand’s version of the N.

E. style, they’re like completely different types of chowder, different taste and texture entirely, my mom who also loves chowder also hated it, if you like this stuff good for you but where I’m from we only really eat N.

E. style, obviously home made is the best but canned N. E style is also acceptable, but this stuff is just completely nasty to us.

These tuna steaks are a godsend. It is Lent and so they make the perfect addition to a Friday supper of either a hearty casserole or a lunch sandwich and salad. I love having these in the pantry to pull out and have something quick and easy to eat.

They are also easy to take to work for a tasty lunch at my desk. I like the packaging too. Yellow is very noticeable and easy to locate in the store aisles. The tuna blends well with other ingredients and the health benefits are outstanding as they provide healthy fish oil for the body.

I highly recommend these tuna steaks and plan to buy more.

Wow this ahi tuna is the best tuna I’ve ever had. I can no longer buy any other brand. I originally saw in shark tank so I looked where to buy and it’s basically available at any grocery store even Costco which is the best deal.

Not only is this tuna sustainably caught, it is lowest in mercury and they test each can to make sure it’s safe (highly recommended for children and pregnant nursing mamas). They add no fillers or oils and slow cook each can which ensures it has a tender texture and so delicious.

Each can has 26 grams of protein which is amazing! I will continue to buy this for my family knowing it is the lowest in Mercury on the market.

I fed this Friskies Salmon Dinner Pate to my 4 year old female tabby, who is an indoor only cat. She began mewing as soon as I opened the can and quickly sprinted to the bowl and began devouring as soon as I placed it down.

Just by happenstance as she was enjoying this product, her automated feeder went off. Usually she runs towards the bowl when she hears that unmistakable sound. But she was enjoying this Friskies pate so much, she did not even budge when the other food was dispensed.

That is a sure attestation that she thoroughly enjoyed the flavor of this product. I am a label reader, and I am pleased with the guaranteed analysis on the label and meat and meat products as the primary first ingredients.

My cats always enjoy Friskies and I know I can always count on Friskies and this was no exception. We tried Friskies Shreds Turkey & Giblets Gravy. My cats enjoyed the shreds which surprised me/ I have 3 cats between the ages of 3 to 9.

Their ages made no difference in how much they liked the Turkey & Giblets Shreds. They are all 3 different breeds and have different personalities, but I could feed them the Turkey & Giblets Shreds and they all ate and enjoyed it.

It is nice to find flavors and type of food that all 3 cats can enjoy, because sometimes they can get finicky and turn up their nose at the food. When they got finicky they started licking the gravy and then went on the enjoy the rest of the meal.

I am sure I will be buying Turkey & Giblets Shreds since I know they all like it. I will also be buying other flavors to see if they enjoy them as much, which I am sure they will. “I received this product for free for the purpose of my review.

When this flavor was available at the pet store my cats couldn’t get enough of it the cheese bits was a huge hit. Now, months later the store no longer carries this flavor amongst a list of others. Getting my babies to eat something else was a challenge.

There was a bit of inconsistency with each can of this flavor. Some cans upon opening will carry an equal amount of sauce to balance off the larger pieces of filets and others would have no sauce at at and when that happened my cats would look at me as if to imply.

”Where’s the sauce!” Friskies is the only brand my older cats would eat. I have 5 beautiful babies each with their own preference of flavor and whether it’s filet, pate, shredded or chunks or bits. It’s hard enough with their finicky palette getting them to eat, but once they fall in love with a flavor such as chicken and tuna with cheese tasty treasures and not having it consistent each time or not being able to find the product has oftentimes creates another problem in itself.

Have used this variety Shrimp Salmon Eggs for years,and works wonders to catch Trout but this year the eggs are all shriveled up(deformed). The jar I bought I returned to Dicks. I have bought from other retailers and they have same issues.

After purchasing 4 jars now and seeing the same things upon opening, I will no longer buy this product. The company down-sized the jar product size from 1. 6 oz to 1. 1 oz, and arent cheap at $4. 29 a jar plus tax.

Either they all are left-overs from last year or the company has a production problem. Steer clear of this item or call manufacture to get answers like I will be doing.

I use these eggs with a marshmallow or redworms and have so far caught trout, crappie, and even a channel cat! I chose the pink color of these very fragrant and sturdy eggs.

The eggs themselves work well. They have, over the last 10 years, in both Pennsylvania and Maryland, have been the best eggs I’ve ever used. the product rating is 5 stars. the ONLY issue i have is the shipping method.

These are glass jars. Imagine if and when, they throw two of these jars into a small box and ship. Package arrives with oil soaked corners. The small plastic bag they put them in, to prevent leakage, doesnt work so well with glass.

but, the product works well. I just move them into another jar, add gulp oil and im happy.

I had this last night and was rather dumbfounded because I have had it so many times before. The so called shrimp was mostly breaded and appeared to be much smaller shrimp than I recall. Hard to trust anything anymore because it seems many foods that were once quality have cheapened up.

This appears to be just another one. I will not buy this product again.

Very good like restaurant quality. Used air fryer. Crispy right amount of shrimp and right texture. I bought the other brand they carry and it was awful. From the first bite I knew it was good.

I love these! I use them to make quick shrimp tacos. I make these in the air fryer and they get super crunchy. Just the right amount of breading and the shrimp size are decent. I can eat them multiple times throughout the week for a quick no hassle meal.
