20 Best Catching Pokemon Bdsp (2022 Updated)

I first found Unplugged when I had a general search return that they had Battle Styles booster packs in-stock for less than MSRP. I was naturally a tiny bit skeptical, but they definitely seemed legit so I took a shot and placed an order.

Long story short, they’ve easily become my go-to shop to get legitimate “sealed product” for an extremely fair price. I’ve placed so many orders with the folks now, and I can absolutely vouch for their legitimacy and integrity; you are 100% safe going with anything that comes from Unplugged.

In a time where being a long-time casual collector has become increasingly more difficult, it’s truly enlightening to find a smaller shop that’s able to regularly get stock in, and still sell it for some of the fairest prices I’ve seen, even compared to my local shops! All of my orders have been promptly fulfilled, and have been packaged with great care.

I don’t even want to count how many Shining Fates ETB’s I had opened with no Shiny Charizard prior to finding Unplugged, and then I finally land him with my very first ETB from Unplugged. We love it. Plenty of these trainer boxes now at Walmart but once their in stock. Their gone at the end of the day. If you manage to see one, just get 1 or 2. Expect mini holo and plenty of reverse holo.

Couple V cards and other great pulls. There is a chance on getting a charizard but don’t expect it. Just be happy of what you get. I ended up getting another one and keeping it sealed. Worth the $49 for an etb and the sword n shield etb , the blue and red , are now $40 so those are good.

Really disappointed with this pack. Especially considering the high price tag. Yes you get the Mewtwo and melmetal cards but the rest is just dud. In the Mewtwo side we got 16 of the same energy card! Then Barry trainer card 5 times.

And then lots of duplicates with Pokémon too. Really disappointing and my son was gutted.

Was slightly disappointed with this purchase. As a collector I had ordered this mostly to display the tin and it had a deep cut in the middle of the tin. It looks like someone had accidentally cut it with a box cutter.

Everything else was great though and I got really good pulls from the included packs including 2 V cards, a holo rare, and 2 non holo rares.

My son received this for Christmas and he is a big fan of Pikachu and Charizard so it was perfect. He was excited for the cards but the extras really made this great. He really liked the notepad, stickers, and mini card holder for favorites.

I personally think Pokemon stuff is overpriced in general but we were lucky enough to get this on sale so it felt like decent value.

To anyone saying “I didn’t pull a single rare!”. um, every single pack comes with a “Rare”. regardless if it’s holo or not. but don’t give people false information. These are great buys for kids and collectors of all.

This case came with stickers, two blister packets (12 cards), two sparkly coins, a mini folder to hold the cards and a note pad. Needless to say a winner for any Pokémon fan. Although I purchased this on sale.

9 year old boy loved it. It had so many goodies inside and is a nice sturdy tin to carry it all around in. Would definitely recommend for any child who loves Pokemon.

The pack is super worth it and I got 3 v cards out of the packs and over all it’s a great way to grow your collection and it even comes with a bit tin box to store all your cards in so over I say it’s worth it.

Wow! No matter how many opening videos I have watched on YouTube it did not prepare me for how shiningly beautiful this Shining Fate Pikach V box would be in person! In hand the box feels smaller but more special and shiny! I was blinded by the light! So pretty.

The promo card and jumbo card is so electrifying! On the downside though, I was sent a slightly ripped damaged box. So kinda bummed about that. Honestly where can I get some properly packaged and shipped Pokémon products? I have been having the worst luck getting them in good condition! I have yet to open the packs as they look too pretty to open right now.

There’s an overwhelming amount of Pikachu boxes/collections on the market right now and most I would not bother with but this one I went ahead and grabbed to tuck away in my sealed collection. The cross between Pikachu as well as the shining fates set itself makes it worth picking up.

It’s not the BEST collection on the market, but its a good one to have. Just wish there were more packs inside.

Was suggested this site by a friend. Buying packs on places like am*z*n always makes me nervous, as they aren’t always honest about resealing packs. Didn’t have to worry about that here though! I had some great pulls out of the packs I got.

I mostly buy sealed packs for the gacha factor, and I got my fair share of shinies and full arts from these packs! Will be buying from here again in the future!.

The product arrived with all my other ones in a giant box that had been well taken care of, so not a single one of them had a single scratch. Since it was online shopping and I’ve sadly seen frauds about pokemon cards, I was a bit sceptical, but everything was fine.

No re-closed packets, no missing cards, actually had a great pull! So 100% satisfied!!.

Not happy, but I have a very valid reason. I ordered 2x “TCG Dragonite & Hoopa V Box” and only received 2x “Hoopa V Box”. Page does not clearly indicate (is misleading) that you will only receive one of the two boxes pictured (it doesn’t state anywhere in any clear fashion that you will only be receiving one).

Myer has not been helpful unfortunately in resolving the issue (have not received any response). To be clear, it is against the law to mislead buyers like this.

Hard to get single packs of Pokémon Go since they don’t sell them individually but these are perfect! Comes with a cute replica of Pokémon balls and a few packs. Love it!

Came in great condition. Lots of stuff to be gotten and I got 4 legendary/ holo and shiny cards in only 2 of the packs! The other packs were still great and I had few repeats surprisingly. Would buy again.

Plus I love using the box tin for storing my cards and other items like the coins. I would recommend for young collectors. You now have a small lunch box, a note pad and pencils to write with. Along with a small binder to hold your new cards in.

When they announced Pokemon Lets Go! I was skeptical at first, with all the forums and such explaining what it might be and how the game would be like. It is a completely different game from the mainline ones that we are all so fond of for sure.

Some hate it and some love it, I have grown to love it just as much as the others in the mainline. There are many very noticeable differences including no wild encounters when in tall grass, caves and floating on the water with your pokemon.

That alone made some people hate Lets Go. For Let’s Go there are two games just like the mainline games 1-8, Pikachu and Eevee are your choices for the starters. In Lets Go your buddy Pokemon Stand on your head (Eevee) or on your shoulder (Pikachu) and you can have another Pokemon from your party follow you around when you take them out of their pokeball.

Pokemon Lets Go is a Gen 1 game that can also connect to your Pokemon Go game on your phone or tablets. You can trade from your PoGo game to Let’s Go but not the other way around. Surprisingly the two, Pikachu and Eevee, have some major differences in themselves.

In Let’s go Pikachu and Eevee there are game specific Pokemon you can get in each version. In order to get the ones from the game you have to trade with someone who has the other or trade them from your PoGo account if you have them.

(Mentioned in photo attached) On top of that the only way to get the legendary Mew is by purchasing the Pokeball controller which is $50 in USA and to trade it from the pokeball when you purchase it new.

Pikachu and Eevee both also have special moves that they can learn too. Pikachu for its special moves can learn electric and water moves where Eevee can learn a vast majority of move types because of the many evolutions it has.

Unlike the mainline games you can NOT evolve your buddy (starter) Pokemon at all unless you hack it which is not recommended if you plan on playing online mode. The great thing about this game being on the Nintendo switch is that you can play in TV mode or in handheld where in the previous mainline games you could only play in handheld with the gameboy or DS systems.

On the handheld you can play with your buddy and change its hairstyles! In handhelds when you catch Pokemon you use the tilt sensor instead of dock mode where you have to use one switch controller like the old Wii Systems.

I would highly recommend this game for someone waiting on the Gen 8 coming out later in 2019 or for someone looking for something slightly different from the mainline.

Loved the return to generation 1 Pokémon. The catch mechanics aren’t my favourite but they didn’t cause me not to enjoy the game. I think all wild Pokémon battles should be like the Snorlax or legendary battles.

You should have to faint the Pokémon before being allowed to catch them. But scrap the Pokémon go mechanics the sensors aren’t that great for aiming so it would just be frustrating. A generation 2 expansion would be the icing on the cake.

Much like how silver and gold added this region to thier games an expansion the other way so we can have this great experience with generation 2 would mean I probably would have my perfect Pokémon game.

Oh. AV training sucks. For adults anyway. Seems like a way to make the game easier for kids. Adding 200 per stat with no consideration for the spread like with EVs means AVs do nothing for competitive play but do make single player easier.

I run the game without AV berries for a more challenging experience which isn’t that hard.

As great or better than the original. The new catching mechanic, based on Pokmon GO, is a new addition that takes a little getting used to, but I found myself starting to prefer it once I git the hang of it.

The graphics have been upgraded to 3D and looks as sharp as ever, and the battle animations look great too. The musical score has also been upgraded with modern remakes of the originals. Integration with Pokmon GO, Home, and the Pokball Plus accessory are all welcome additions and each add additional ways to catch, trade, or power up your Pokmon.

The main negatives are some UI and quality of life features that could use upgrades, such as making it easiet to check the affection levels of multiple Pokmon at once or to have the extra controller buttons (e.

g. zL/zR and L/R) as shortcuts to useful features like the map or Candy Jar. Still not enough to really detract from an excellent upgrade to a great classic.

Very good value for the price. I bought 3 of these just because it’s actually cheaper to buy this then booster packs. But I didn’t get a single good pull from 24 booster packs total. So that was a bummer.

With every pokemon packet it’s always a gamble. You never know what you’re gonna get. But the price made it easier. My son pulled a couple of decent cards out of these packs and was happy. For the price you couldn’t beat it.

Good price for 4 packs plus you get the collectors cards. I ordered this and an arcus box and had better pulls from this one. The box arrived beat up but the cards were fine.

I was very surprised on what I got. I got more than one v and a lot of rare cards. It is also at very cheap price.I recommend this to any Pokémon collector.

While initially cheaper than everywhere else this products prices are now more expensive than other stores.

Loved the game! Only concern is, just four things. I found it quite out of place to suddenly introduce the villain of the game towards the very end of the game. It’s much more fun when the villain has already appeared ages ago in the game and the player strives to beat them throughout the journey, alongside a group of lackeys that stop you with an actual evil goal — different to Team Yell since they didn’t exactly have a very “evil” goal.

The post-game story is usually what I am excited and satisfied with after beating the main story, but this time it was not exactly satisfying as it usually was for me. Long-time fans in particular usually look forward to seeing the Looker in the game and it was disappointing to not see him again.

Apart from that in particular, the post game story was too short and could have used some more activities and a storyline that emotionally pulls the player in — I didn’t really feel that when I was playing and trying to beat the two villains in the Post-Game story.

As well as that, it would have been nice to see an introduction of a new character to aid you in the Post game story or a character (that has some loveable traits) who you go up against (rather than the two we got, as to be honest, their designs were.

not likeable. and their personalities weren’t so unique. )And finally, it would have been nice to have had more extras after beating the main story and the post-game story — mainly with npc interactions as many players do enjoy interacting with NPCs after beating the game and completing their various given tasks or talking to them about something interesting.

We did get this in the game but not so much that would have been more fun. And the last thing is — I’d LOVE to be able to bring out my Pokémon out of the ball again, it was an enjoyable feature in Heart Gold and Soul Silver, as well as in Let’s Go! Pikachu and Eevee — it seems to realistically bring one closer with their Pokémon partner.

The Camp feature was fun but this is something I’d like to see making a comeback. Overall though, apart from these, I loved the game, the characters and the gameplay. Only thing is after the Dex Cut, lots more things could have been included that would have perfected the game.

Alright so I’ll admit; after coming from Pokemon: Sword/Shield to Let’s Go: Eevee, it was an adjustment and I was not super into the game at first. The throwing style threw me off which also encouraged me to never play with the switch connected to the TV and only play handheld.

The storyline seemed more meant for children but after beating the first two gyms, I got more into it. I loved the classic 150 Pokemon that you’re able to catch (even though about 20 of those you have to find someone online to trade with you because they’re only exclusive to the Pikachu version, I suggest Reddit), and the graphics were amazing especially on the OLED switch.

I loved the close relationship that you develop with Eevee and that you can pet it and give it treats. The gyms get especially harder so you do need to know your types and what they are weak/strong against.

I loved being able to catch Mewtwo in the end but wish that Poke Ball Plus(es) that originally came with the game weren’t such a rare item and so expensive to come by these days because you can’t obtain Mew as a mystery gift anymore.

There is a solid storyline after beating the Elite Four and I ESPECIALLY love that you can ride around on Charizard/Dragonite/Aerodactyl, it’s loads of fun and makes traveling way quicker. Overall, once you get into the game it is loads of fun and I can honestly say that I enjoyed this game as much as Sword and Shield.

Now to wait for Gen. 9 to come out at the end of 2022.

Had great fun playing this game. This was my first experience playing Pokemon on the Switch and it was much more enjoyable than my Nintendo 3DS experience. I enjoyed being able to see the Pokemon in the wild rather than just tripping over them suddenly.

It made picking and choosing which ones to go after much more enjoyable. I also loved that the Pokemon were “actual size”, as in Onyx was HUGE compared to a smaller Pokemon. Sound quality was well made and even sounded good through small in-ear headphones.

Just playing for a few hours here and there in the evenings, I was able to complete the game in about a month. Not including the “after game” extras. Overall a very laidback game to play.

This is by far my sons most favorite Pokémon game for the Nintendo Switch console! Great game for all ages and adults too! Did you know you can transfer Pokémon from different platforms to the Pokémon Go game on your phone.

Only allows you to do one Pokémon once, not the same type multiple times. Things I learn from my kiddo. This Nintendo switch game is affordable and found at most retailers around. I purchase this one online at Walmart for $49.

Hidden Fates is one of the best Pokemon TCG sets out in recent years, and this tin looks fantastic. While the expense of buying one of these is significantly higher than when it came out, finding them in factory-sealed condition at the price I paid is wonderful.

Gyarados is a great Pokemon, and getting one of these was a boon. Very happy w/ my purchase.

Not gonna lie, it was my first time buying Hidden Fates online because Im very afraid of getting scammed. However, I was very happy with this purchase, it got here 4 days earlier than expected and the product was sealed perfectly and I even got some good pulls out of it.

Nice packs. 4 brilliant stars. 4 astral radiance. 4 fusion strike. 2 evolving skies. $2.86/pack. Can’t beat that. Plus a jumbo card, 4 coins, 2 V cards and 2 holos as a bonus (non-promos), pshh.

Box was shipped quickly and arrived quickly with decent packaging. Still haven’t opened it, but everything checks out and looks good. Would recommend the product to others based on it’s relatively fair price-to-pack ratio value.

Would make a good Christmas gift idea.

The product itself is good. What you get for what you pay is great. Basically 14 packs for $2. 80 when they are normally $4 ea. the problem is that I got no significant card in those 14 packs… and I opened 2 of these boxes.

Unplugged Gaming has been my go to website ever for the past two months. I’ve already ordered many booster boxes in the past, including Vivid Voltage, Battle Styles, and Chilling Reign and it’s been fun collecting all these new cards at a reasonable or cheaper price compared to Retail or scalper pricing.

This time around, I’ve ordered this tin only because there was a promotion involving golden cards and I got the golden Venasaur card. Not only that but I got a couple of shinies I didn’t have and I luckily managed to pull the shiny Charizard VMax card.

Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase and I will continue to buy from this website.

Shining Fates is an incredible set – exciting to open packs and there’s so much variety with the Shiny Vault having 122 cards too. These tins are good value with 6 packs and the price Target is selling them for is cheaper than anywhere else.

Recommended for any Pokemon lover.
