20 Best Catfish Noodle Design (2022 Updated)

Nice size flat noodle. I wish they sold these in a longer version. I am still very satisfied with the quality and color of the noodle. There is even a hole in one end to allow you to hang them up, or add a rope to them.

Bought these before our pool is finished, so cannot say if they are good in the pool. I have 3 grandchildren under 8, and these look like they will be much fun.

Bought some of these pool noodles last year and they were a hit for young and old. Would also be great at the beach. Very lightweight yet durable. Highly recommend!!

We aren’t really “packaged food” people, but since (during the pandemic) we aren’t presently eating at restaurants or ordering takeout, we put some of these in our carts for those moments when you need a quick meal between ZOOM meetings/events.

I was not sure about it (because we don’t order food from China for food safety reasons and a lot of brands are produced in China. ) However Target allows you to see the packages which is an awesome feature and ask questions.

We found these were US-made. Honestly, we were pleasantly surprised. The flavor is really good for something quick. I would definitely suggest it. Add a tablespoonful of peanut butter in when you add the water (trust me!!) before microwaving the noodles for the pad Thai.

Mix it all up in a different larger bowl if you have the extra minute. This is delicious.

These are handy to have in the house as a base for what becomes a delicious meal once I get through with majorly doctoring them, i. e. , adding chicken I’ve cooked in advance as well as boneless spareribs we always make sure to order a couple of nights before when we have that evening’s dinner delivered from a Chinese restaurant.

I also add scallions. So, basically, what I’m getting in this extremely easy-to-prepare kit (90 secs in the microwave) are the noodles, sauce and chopped peanuts. There are a few dried, minced, paper-thin bits of carrot and something else that are nothing like the veggies pictured and that bring nothing to the party.

I wouldn’t enjoy this dish on its own–the sauce would be too dense and intense–but with the mix-ins we end up with a great meal–one of my husband’s favorites–after very little time spent in the kitchen.

With the old school cup-O-noodles I would eat like 2 or three per meal. These guys, one and some fruit will do me right! TRY IT SUCKA! YEAH!!😁.

An alternative wothout tasting like compromise. Rinsed and microwaved covered with water, then drained i then add garlic powder and knorr chicken gel and dry for further minute or so to acheive a chicken noodle like taste.

For cabonara, prep a crisp rasher of bacon, cook noodles in stove in bit of water, drain, then cracking an egg in the second stage adding dash of thick almond milk and grated parmeasan. Other quick meals include cooking in microwave, drain and adding sweet chilli sauce/ soy, steamed veg, and baked crispy chicken or white fish Ideally reduction in price to sustain including Barenaked Noodles as a weeknight staple.

These noodles are super low in calories, but are really quite nice, with a good texture. Konjac is an amazing ingredient. We often have these with a seafood stirfry. It would be nice if they also came in a flat noodle, or udon noodle shape!.

I was really impressed with how similar these konjac noodles are to regular noodles. They definitely hit the spot when I was missing noodles and rice on my keto diet. I prefer the taste and texture of these over courgette noodles, any day of the week.

I am not a fan of these. I like Maruchan’s Cup Ramen (it’s a cult icon, basically) as a basic, super cheap ramen, so I thought I’d try their yakisoba considering I absolutely LOVE yakisoba from street vendors at the festivals in Japan.

Boy, this sure was an abysmal disappointment. I’m not sure what’s “yaki” about it, considering “yaki/yaku” means “grill/grilled”, and that’s the part that gives the noodles the texture I love in real yakisoba.

But this is. microwaved. so the noodles are just kind of soft and. not great. So I guess it’s just the flavor? And the added vegetables? But the flavor isn’t right, either. This isn’t what yakisoba tastes like.

This tastes artificial and just very different, very wrong. I know it won’t be like real yakisoba, of course, but this. I wouldn’t even dare to call this yakisoba. It’s an insult to yakisoba, and people who eat this and hate it will think they hate all yakisoba, which would be so sad! The spicy version of this same flavor isn’t too bad, I’d give that one three stars just because of how spicy it is (it’s quite spicy, so it masks the bad flavor well).

I wouldn’t even try the parmesan cheese one or whatever it was, that one sounds absolutely disgusting. O. OMaruchan as a company is OK if you don’t have a lot of money to spend but you want cheap, and cheap-tasting instant ramen.

But I wouldn’t even bother with this yakisoba. Now, if you want GOOD instant ramen, try Nissin’s “Raoh” brand which uses really different and delicious noodles! They come in Tonkotsu (pork bone), shoyu (soy sauce), and miso (fermented soy bean) flavors, and they are ALL amazing! Dress them up with a soft-boiled egg, a few slices of chashyu (braised) pork, some wakame (seaweed), kombu (kelp), shiitake, corn, and bean sprouts, and you’re good to go!.

I bought this at Big Lots for $. 90. I wanna start by saying these are not that healthy. I didn’t really care for this at all. I normally like regular ramen but I was not impressed with this one. The flavor wasn’t really that great and the veggies weren’t that appealing.

They were soggy and lacking in the amount I expected to be in the package. The noodle consistency is what I would expect it to be since it is microwavable. There is nothing really spectacular about these noodles.

It is a quick and easy meal to fix but it’s not one I will purchase again. I also do not like that the plastic container is not recyclable. Yeah I know that’s the chance I took buying something in plastic but I think it’s something that they can change along with improving the veggies that come in a little pack and adding a little more flavoring.

If you like hot noodles and I mean HOT ! You will LOVE these. These are the hottest noodles I’ve eaten. I eat hot stuff on the REGULAR and these had my nose running. But I love it super hot. And it has a nice flavor.

Not nasty hot but yummy hot. I gave only 4 stars because it could have been a little more flavor and a tad (Itty bitty) less burn mouth. But I digress. I love hot food. I always drain the water if my noodles before adding seasoning.

I keep stored ahead in my emergency food supply these long expiry date bags of instant moist cold or hot satisfying vegetable carbohydrates with plant extract “essential oils”/spices especially healthful Lemongrass, Star Anise, and Garlic.

This flavor packs the least “heat” of those I’ve tasted which Vitacost carries. For a meal, with complete protein essential amino acids, I add wild-caught salmon (lower in mercury than many fish). Or coconut milk to dilute the spicy “heat” with appetite-satisfying MCT (Medium Chain Trigliceride) healthy fat, for a milder flavor like a creamy Thai soup.

The texture of the meal noodles seems more tender than the plain ones. The sauced noodles can be microwaved in the pouch but I put them in a bowl to heat. That makes it easier to add a personal touch with Italian seasoning, protein, cooked veggies or grated cheese.

Very nice for a quick snack.

My family and I absolutely love these noodles! They can go with just about anything. I add butter, salt, pepper, parmesan cheese, and added a little gravy from the Salisbury steak. We prefer the “extra wide” so they are easier to pick up with a fork.

Quick and tasty. So light and fluffy it makes angels cry because they can’t eat noodles and play the harp at the same time. The plain noodles have a nice nutty flavor, sort of. I love noodles and these are great.

They hold their shape when cooked. You know how some cheap noodles break apart in the water? Not these. Nope, probably the lightness or fluffiness that keeps them together. Gluten filled goodness, come get on my plate.

My go to for home made chicken noodle soup, butter noodles and home made beef stroganoff. One bag goes a long way! Not expressive. Fast And easy to cook. Tasty with the perfect recipe! It’s getting to be winter yall, go ahead and stock up on these bad boys and make some tasty home made dishes.

An amazing product. To avoid them all sticking together, you must rinse buckwheat first in warm water before you even cook it. Once rinsed simply drop into a pot of boiling water (DO NOT ADD ANY SALT) Then immediately reduce the heat to medium.

Leave for 10min. Finally drain it under a cold tap until cooled down and then add salt and a little oil to stop it all sticking. You can then use it to stir fry with or drop it into an Italian sauce to bring it back up to heat.

(If you already have the Italian sauce ready then there is no need to cook the noodles down. Just use them straight away. Only stir fry noodles from cold. Bon appetit.

pretty happy with this. package said cook 5-6 mins but i took before 5 mins and its already soft. might boil a bit shorter for more aldente texture.

I’ve tried a few different types of soba and this is by far my favourite – great taste and chewiness/texture. You definitely need to rinse after boiling them though.

Nothing wrong with these! Easy to prepare, tasty and although the price has crept up nearly 20% over 5 months they are currently on Rollback and fairly priced.

I’m old skool and usually stick to the classic curry pot noodle but gave this a try when on offer and was pleasantly surprised. Have ordered more for camping trips.

I’ve tried a lot of Naked Noodle products and this is a favourite, particularly if you don’t like hot spice. Really tasty and good when on offer at 75p. I also love the Thai green curry (more hot spice but authentic flavours) and Singapore noodles.

It’s perfect for chicken & noodles! The whole family was happy with the meal. Kluskis are the best!

I was asked about butter but couldn’t go back and choose the right brand. I haven’t actually tried these but couldn’t go back and couldn’t make another selection.

These are, hands down, the BEST noodles for homemade chicken noodle soup. They do not get soggy or break up. They stay in one piece which to me, makes a big difference in many dishes.

I tried several of the cup o noodle flavor. The seafood one taste like a half shrimp in it but it doesn’t have any shrimp in it I was surprised to see the amount of stuff that was in there because usually these cheap soups don’t have anything in them.

So that was a nice change. The problem with that soup it’s the price if you go to the Walmart website it’s like $4. 71 for one of them if you go to their app it’s $1. 46 for one of them if you try to buy a big bundle pack like six of them they want to charge you almost 30 bucks they don’t even know what to charge for that particular soup so it’s listed for all different prices all over and I’ve checked other websites and it’s the same thing on all these different websites nobody can figure out how much the price it for.

Do wish it had that old school cheap shrimp in it though. Ended up using the app and ordering them individually because it was cheaper that way. I’m sure as heck not going to give them $5 for 2 oz of dehydrated noodles.

Although this one does have a few pieces of seafood meats in them. Which even at $1. 46 it’s already more than a standard cup and I think that’s fair pricing but the problem is these people can’t figure out how to price that particular soup it is delicious for seafood lovers that don’t mind if it’s dehydrated or not.

You get real onions, green onions, eggs and I think they put squid, crab in there too. It is flavorful. I would be careful if you have a high blood pressure problem because it is a bit salty.

Normally the cup noodle is a pretty decent quick meal. I take them to work as they are fast to make and usually pretty good. However, these were so bland I ended up tossing the two I made. What’s worse is that if you buy through Sam’s pickup option, you are forced to buy 2 boxes of them.

I have no idea what to do with it now as I no longer have the email and was not given a physical receipt. They taste like nothing and the noodles were even worse. I would absolutely not reccomend this product.

I finally could get Curry Noodle in the USA, thanks Nissin. Since Nissin now produces more curry noodle ever in the USA ( people in city such as LA and NY could get it, but couldn’t for people who reside in small town) , I don’t need to ask my parents to send Curry Noddle from Japan anymore.

So far Bokksu offers this item for the cheapest price. It took only 4 days to be shipped!! I appreciate Nissin and Bokksu.

It’s amazing that the little ‘nothing special’ looking super soft stick bait catches so well. The elaztech material from Z-man is different than conventional soft plastics – super stretchy and close to floating.

Other sellers charge too much for the exact same product. Caution: keep these in a separate bag than other soft plastics. If in the same bag you’ll wind up with a partially dissolved gooey mess. I usually rig these on drop shot.

The bottoms of my area ponds have so much gloppy mud/weeds that pulling on the bottom doesn’t catch fish for me. I have also caught smallmouth in clear rivers with these with a 1/32 oz bullet weight.

A tiny nail weight could work, but the elaztech resists pressing in or screwing in a weight.

Buy some TRD’s and you will NOT be disappointed. Simply stated, they CATCH fish! I love fishing them weedless around structure and in thick cover. I have found the mushroom head jigs will snag pretty frequently in obstacles.

No worries. Make sure you get some Z-Man BULLET Z jigs (1/5 or 1/6). voila–problem solved! My experience is the bullet jigs get hung up much LESS compared to the mushroom head. The only thing you have to lose is the FISH you would have caught.

I don’t think color is super important. I’ve caught countless smallies on yoga pants, green pumpkin, green pumpkin goby, and canada craw. Lastly, as numerous other reviews have stated the z-man elaztech baits LAST ALL DAY! It truly is a no brainer.

When the fishing gets tough, my go to lure is the zman finesse trd. The action is supreme the durability is superb and the fish can’t resist. It has amazing hoping action and unlike other plastics that sink when you put them on a trd hook, the zman finesse trd floats hence standing up perfectly strait.

Its great for all predatory species, from large to smallmouth bass to snakeheads and Mayans this lure works amazingly for beginner anglers and anglers who’ve been fishing their whole life this lure catches fish no matter what.

In pressured water or your private pond this lure is always what their eating. It catches fish of all sizes from dinks to trophy sized fish. This lure never has and I dont think it ever will let me down.

Every time I eat a Pot Noodle Im embarrassed. It wasnt meant to be like this 33 years old living in a shared flat a dog that isnt even mine still eating Pot Noodles every now and then. I was meant to be something of worth by now.

Successful, yet still ambitious. Handsome, with an expensive haircut. Clothed, but not in bin bags like I currently am. Instead Ive ended up circling the drain for the past two decades, eking out something of an existence a subsistence as I try to figure out just what it is Im supposed to be doing in life, where Im supposed to be going, or what the point of it all is.

And so I go on with my life, struggling through, trying to manage this mess crikey, just trying to make a more orderly mess out of this catastrophe that is existence. I take it a day at a time, just as we all have to, but as I soldier on it becomes increasingly apparent there isnt much going for the way Im currently tackling my lot.

I need to make changes, man. I need to amp up move things further and become the man I promised myself when a tiny child that I would be. That change will come, and the storm will follow. Oh and Chicken and Mushroom Pot Noodles are the best of the bunch.

Theyre still not actual food though.

I love these curry pot noodles. I think I’m addicted because I have one every day. I love the subtle flavour and sweetness. I usually fill to level then top up just a smidgen. They become quite weak if too mu h water added.

I found my own way of preparing to my liking. Lovely with a hot cup of tea. Can’t praise them enough. It’s the only one I like.

I love these they taste so yummy when I add in extra soy sauce flavour from the bottle as there’s never enough in the little packet they give you. I’m always buying them and won’t stop they are very simple and easy to make takes less that 5 minutes.

Some tips to make the perfect pop noodle that works for me! 1) Don’t tear off all the foil lip on the top of the noodle tear it half way (you’ll see why later) 2) Boil the kettle and slowly add in water at a time so the water soaks up all the noodles (Don’t put the water in all at once) once water has reached the first line stop.

3) Close the foil and cover up the pop noodle (so it looks like you’ve just brought it) then place the flavour sachet on top of the pop noodle foil (Don’t open it) so it warms up the sauce and more comes out of it.

4) Open the foil back up and add the flavour in and mix it around. 5) Then close the foil again just like tip number 3. 6) Open back up mix it around and tear off the foil and start eating. Only takes 5 minutes! This is the best way to make a pop noodle! Try it.

The flavor is on a somewhat sweet and savory side. If you’ve had nongshim instant noodles before, you should know how their noodles are. Depending on how long you cook it, it’s either chewy and al dente or a bit on the mushy side if you let it sit too long.

Either way it’s good, and the amouny of noodles is plenty for one. I don’t think this tastes anything like lobster, maybe more like imitation crab meat. It’s good, but nothing fantastic. Not spicy at all, and how.

This is absolutely the best flavor of Ramen I’ve ever eaten. I’m not a fan of spicy food and, although this flavor has a little heat to it, it’s tolerable. So if you’re like me and do not like a lot of heat, but can handle a small amount, you’ll probably love this.

The broth is rich and savory and so delicious and the portion size is perfect. Add some extra goodies, like shrimp, peas, egg, etc, and you’ve got a meal.

Typically, I can go several years without having an “instant” product like this – not because I dislike them, but because they tend to be (very) unhealthy, and I’m not necessarily in the position to be able ignore this.

Recently, though, I’ve found myself eating the odd instant snack/meal, finding that some of them are actually reasonably healthy (or at least not horrendously unhealthy). Though I wouldn’t say that this is a healthy instant product, personally, it is the best instant noodle pot that I have ever had.

It’s simple to prepare, with any warnings and instructions available on the packaging (With the exception of warning you to be careful opening the sachet, preferably inside of the cup. I did not do this and the contents squirted out, landing on a really inconvenient surface, LOL.

). You also get a surprisingly decent amount of product when prepared – cooked, the noodles fill the pot basically up to the bottom of the gray, ridged rim. Of course, the noodles themselves are really nice – it actually is somewhat like what you see in the picture, with bits of greens and pepper.

Speaking of pepper, this pot is definitely a bit spicy, with the kind of heat that lingers on your tongue. I honestly kind of resent not taking advantage of the promotion that they currently have going when I purchased this! A few tweaks to the recipe and it would definitely be a 5 from me.

I love noodles, and was excited to try these, but unfortunately I had difficulty eating them. The flavour was pleasant, but a little weak, even with the sauce sachet added. They were fast and easy to prepare, but although I prepared them exactly as instructed, I found the noodles very straw-like and I choked on just a small amount, which was quite scary.

Also, I appreciate the convenience, and I actually got this product as a ‘freebie’, but I think they are very over-priced, especially against comparable noodles available. I also didn’t like that you drained the water from the noodles.

Made a mess in the sink, and TBH, I usually like the water, as after it’s soaked into the noodles, and other sauces are added, in preparation, it gives, in my humble opinion, a better flavour. I was so excited to try this product, but was very disappointed.

I wouldn’t buy these, not when there are some much better alternatives, at a much better price.

The the translation from of the Japanese word ‘Yakisoba’ is ‘fried noodle’. ‘Soba’ means buckwheat, but the noodles in yakisoba refers to Chinese-style noodles made from wheat flour. I agree with Mrsdparis.

I too prefer to not drain the water after steeping the noodles and before adding the sauce. Retaining the liquid leads to making a really delicious broth, which like you, I love! My son drains, I don’t – so we are both happy! You can do it either way, whichever you prefer… We love all of the ‘Nissin Cup Noodles Soba Wok Style’, so convenient for a quick late night snack! 🙂 Enjoy!.

This basket has pros and cons. The con is that the base is kind of small which makes it top heavy along with having a slightly rounded bottom means that if you do not get it hooked on the side of the pot it will tip over and the noodles spill out.

The pro is it strains all the water out of the basket quickly unlike many others I have used. Another pro is that it doesn’t have a plastic handle that can melt in the high heat of a sauté station. I have been on the fence about if I would order this again but then one of my cooks came and asked me to buy him another one for his station so it looks like the pros did outweigh the one con.

This pasta strainer is excellent quality and works great in my kitchen. Whenever I am making small batches of pasta at a time, this makes it easy. I can easily cook the pasta, strain it, and pour it into a pan with sauce.

It is built extremely well and I would highly recommend it.

I love these baskets. They are well made and easy to use. They have a nice hook to keep them from falling in the pot. Only complaint is that the basket is round and fairly large so it’s hard to get two baskets in a pot unless you’re using a bigger pot like a 20 quart.

Definitely recommend though.

You can’t go wrong with the original Eppinger spoons. There are some other good spoons out there, and some are better situational ones, but when it comes to chasing pike and pickerel, you just can’t go wrong with the Daredevle.

The smaller 1/16 and 1/32oz ones are also excellent trout and yellow perch hunters. The only downside is snags. You have to know your structure, because you WILL snag up any stick or weed within 6 feet of these things 😉 That just is part of the territory with spoons though.

These things are more expensive than the competition, but in general, they are worth every penny.

I grew up in the great state of Michigan where I was taught fishing at an early age. My father gave me my first Daredevles and I can say that I’ve tried MANY other spoons on the market not only in the U.

S. but in Canada. Hands down Daredevles give me more strikes on a consistent basis. They’ve got the best action on the market and slay pretty much any species of fish to ever swim in a body of water.

I live in Canada now and I can get spoons from Canadian manufacturers for much less than I can get Daredevles, yet my tackle box is still stuffed with Dearborn brass n’ copper. No better spoon on the market.

I am 74 years old and I used Eppinger five of diamonds and red/white daredevils for northern pike as a child in Canada with huge success. I now live in Colorado and fish with them at high elevation lakes with the same success.

Excellent product. I use it for making pasta dishes as well as in soup.
