20 Best Cd Bluetooth Player (2022 Updated)

We are enjoying the newest addition to our AV family, the Denon DN-300ZB Media Player. We swapped out our stand alone CD player to add the capability to use a single player for all the media we can use to listen to music.

Set up was simple (or so I thought). Once I had it connected, I could listen to the AM/FM tuner, but could not get other media to play. Manual said that when the CD was inserted it would automatically switch to CD.

No luck. Went through the manual multiple times including trouble shooting–no luck. When I googled the problem, the first thing that came up was that there are two dedicated outputs–one for the tuner and one for other media.

Sure enough, when I swapped over I was able to play other media. Nowhere in the manual is it clear that this is how the player is set up. The fact that this immediately appeared on a Google search suggests I wasn’t the only one to experience this.

The challenge is that the player will account for two input slots on the receiver and inputs on the receiver will have to be switched as needed. Another minor annoyance is that the remote doesn’t have a power on/off, and doesn’t have a display, so if I want to see what the input I’m selecting, I have to get up close enough to read the unit’s display.

Still, all in all it’s a very handy device with good sound quality and aesthetics at a good price.

This is pretty cool and very vestal. I think this piece of equipment also has a rinse cycle but I’m still learning it. LOL very nice product and worth every penny. I love the rack mount. Thank for making such a nice product.

I’m in a brick building and I get clear FM. Wow, this is very cool. as an old Rodie i really like this and I wish I had this back in the 80’s but this rack mount ROCKS. Thanks a bunch!!!.

The unit really shines as a CD player. I am a bit of an audiophile and I was able to conduct a comparison between this unit and other decks. The DN-300ZB was the clear winner in my CD testing. This unit is also an AM/FM tuner and has descent sound quality for a digital tuner.

I compared to a Pioneer TX-9500 II analog tuner and the 40 year old Pioneer was the clear winner. I believe this to be the norm as digital tuner are designed for user convenience and manufacturing efficiency — analog tuners were designed for sound quality and distant signal acquisition.

Furthermore, I used a dipole directional and a dipole omni-directional antenna for the testing. The DN-300ZB will play. mp3 and. wav files from a USB or SD card. I haven’t had a chance to compare the sound quality here, but I would assume the same A/D converter is employed and it should as good as CD playback for lossless file formats.

My complaint with the USB/SD playback is the method of finding songs within the folder hierarchy is a bit confusing and inefficient. I think a much better user interface is needed here. BlueTooth functions worked as they should.

I would not expect to find audiophile quality playback on this or any BlueTooth/wifi device with the current technology. Lastly, the unit has a very nice build quality for the professional market. Overall I am impressed with it’s apparent durability, functionality, and sound quality.

I gave it 4 out 5 stars instead of 5 out 5 due to the USB/SD user interface.

Opened and tested. Sounds great, but I will be returning this. I bought this for my mother to keep on her counter, basically as an alternative to a Bose Wave radio or a simple boom box style. The problem is that there was no detailed description and pictures of the unit to show that you need to mount the AM loop antenna and connect the wire, as well as the FM wire antenna, which also needs to be mounted or strung up.

Instead of being an item you can just place on a counter, now there are wires to string up, not difficult, but unsightly, and it cannot easily be moved. The buttons and features are also a little challenging for older people.

If pictures were shown of each angle, contents of the box, etc. I would not have purchased.

The sound is good, but the functionality is poorly designed. It feels like this is a good prototype. And after the designers try to use it for a while, the v2 will be a lot better. The remote is needed to do many everyday functions.

The clock only appears when the appropriate button is pushed on the remote, and the time is visible only for 10 seconds or so.

It’s a good speaker that will play CDs and most of my burned mixes too. That’s the real value of this mini system: nostalgia. I was one of those that wanted to hear a thousand dollar sound but pay as little as possible.

But real world use sound is good enough to get lost in the past.

I recently bought a McIntosh MA252 Tube/Hybrid because I loved the sound and 160 watts/4ohm nominal was more than enough to drive my speakers (KEF LS50 Metas). However, the MA252 has only 4 total inputs including a MM phono and balanced–this leaves only 2 RCA/unbalanced inputs and no streaming or digital inputs.

Not to worry the ND8006 has optical, Bluetooth and WiFi connections too. Used one of the inputs on the MA252 and had a complete set-up. Used the other unbalanced for a NAD Tuner, and the Phono for my Planar 8 TT (with an Ortofon ST-6 step up transformer for the Moving Coil Ania MC cartridge).

Because of the versatility of the ND8006 I still have the balanced input for future growth. An amazing combination. However, in order to maximize the utility of this unit, spend time reading the full manual as well as familiarizing yourself with the various options.

Well worth the $1,500 price point, this unit also has the guts of the $800 CD8007 built inside so CDs sound beautiful especially though the analog tube preamp of the MA252. Buy an amplifier/intergrated with fewer inputs and buy this unit as a compliment to same.

Add a turntable and you have the entire music universe at your fingertips. Another A + effort from the folks at Marantz.

The Marantz ND8006 is a 4 plus Star in terms of the actual unit. It is solid, looks great, and from a feature-set perspective it was exactly what I was looking for. A good quality CD transport with network/streaming capabilities.

I wasn’t interested in having a unit that rips CDs (more effectively accomplished on a PC) and this unit is one of the few out there that accomplish the necessary tasks at a mid price range. However the HEOS streaming software from Marantz/Denon is a ONE STAR and probably less than that.

In order to stream TIDAL for increased bandwidth you have to go through HEOS. And HEOS sucks. The software is buggy and worse, the ability to easily shuffle and simply play tracks off of an album or from an artist is nearly impossible.

There are a lot of complaints about HEOS that I hadn’t read prior to purchasing this unit. While I think I would have purchased the Marantz anyway, it gives me real pause. It seems that Marantz/Denon has been pretty unresponsive in terms of providing needed updates to their software.

Not surprising really. They are an old school audio manufacturer. not a technology company.

I bought this unit to replace a Marantz CD 6005 player. After some shopping errors (a TEAC P650CD player that produced a harsh, metallic sound), I considered the Marantz CD6006 (a good player from what I read) and the ND8006.

But given the ability to stream music from multiple sources through the high end DAC in the ND8006, in addition to an excellent CD player, this magic box seemed to do it all in one unit. – What shall I say ? Setting it up was super easy (the instructions were easy to follow, even for non engineers), and the sound from any source I tested was outstanding.

Especially from the CD player, a transparent, detail-rich and warm sound (Marantz sound) that lets me enjoy my classic CD collection again. The wireless streaming from mobile Apple devices may not be at par with a CD, but still very good and super convenient.

I have not tried hard-wiring the ND8006 with the router yet, but chances are this will improve the streaming quality. Overall, given the quality of the CD player in this unit and the additional network capabilities, the price of the magic box is ok.

I would absolutely recommend this CD/Network player (esp if you have already a Marantz amplifier ).

I purchased this to replace a very, very old inherited player that was beyond repair. I love the compact size and the plethora of features. I love that not only can I play my records, but I can also play my CD collection which has been gathering dust since they stopped putting disc players in vehicles.

I haven’t tested the USB Mp3 conversion feature yet, but I like that the option is there. Sound quality is really great, and it has a decent volume range. Setup was a breeze with just a plug n play Setup.

The remote is easy to use, and we discovered that our Vizio TV remote works on it too. Overall, very happy with the overall quality and price point. Definitely recommend.

I rarely leave less than 5 star reviews. Unfortunately in this case I couldn’t leave a 5. The concept is great! It has a great look! I ordered it for my husband who loves old cars, especially in that aqua shade and he has a large collection of old 45’s and LP’s.

I took a chance in it hoping that even though I didn’t see any mention of the sound, it might be ok. Especially in this era of Bose and other great brands with great sound in small speakers. Well that wasn’t the case.

The sound wasn’t bad but in this particular one, it was crackly. It also took a while for the light to get bright fir the radio stations. However it was very cold when I brought it in off the porch and unpacked it.

That may have contributed to it. My husband is spoiled. He loves good quality sound. For someone who’s just looking for a fun way to hear some music and they’re not as particular, it’s great! It’s a cool item.

Just wish they’d upgrade the sound. I’d pay for the upgrade!.

I spent a long time looking for something like this as a gift. I had previously purchased another item, but discovered it did not have AM radio so I returned it. I like that this has a record player as well as a CD player and radio, but the description is wrong.

There is no AM radio on this. Other than that, it is nice. I’m trying to decide whether or not to continue my search for the elusive AM.

For what has become my permanent WFH space, this little unit is just about perfect. I’ve been able to de-clutter and shrink the amount of audio gear even more than expected. The FM tuner, SD/USB media player and CD player features were expected going in, but I was pleasantly surprised that the headphone output drives my 250-ohm Beyerdynamic DT-880 Pro headphones just as well as my dedicated amp, and sounds excellent too.

I also have the CD-400U going to a set of Audioengine speakers and the sound quality is very satisfying. I’m curious as to what DAC hardware Tascam has built into this thing, but I’m pleased with the output quality regardless.

I haven’t even touched the Bluetooth or dubbing capabilities yet. If there were anything I would add to it, it would be a S/PDIF or TOSlink digital out. But overall, zero complaints.

This retro style radio will be perfect in our granddaughter’s aqua and lavender bedroom. Simple enough for a 9 year old to program, because she loves waking up and going to sleep with music. It’s good quality for the price.

The time display could be a little larger, but we bought one for ourselves in black, also. Would recommend.

After lots of research I decided to purchase this amp as I like the look of it and its features as I had set myself a budget. I’m not disappointed. Bought online as part of a bundle with the equivalent cd player and Qacoustics 3020i speakers.

I am really impressed with the sound quality and listening to my cd collection has been a joy. If you are not able to spend a fortune but want a quality system I recommend this and Richer sounds. One downside however would be the lack of any interconnects.

This was not apparent on the website when I bought the system and only when delivered did the lack of an interconnect come to light as it is written on the box. After a phone call to Richer sounds this was rectified by the very helpful staff who ensured I received a quality connector next day.

Richer sounds please make it clear for non audiophiles like myself that cables etc need to be purchased separately (hence, only 4 stars, sorry). Thanks again Richer sounds.

Recently purchased Cambridge Audio package from Richer Sounds which included AXA35 amp, AXC35 CD player and Wharfdale Dimond 220 speakers. Quality of amp and CD player is very good. It feels solid unlike some other makes and looks unfussy.

Controls are what you would expect, nothing fancy just practical. Wiring speakers to the amp was no problem, just remember to remove the dust caps from the banana sockets. At 35 watts per channel, its not going to break any records or unduly annoy the neighbours.

Paired with the Wharfdale Dimond 220 speakers the clarity of sound is hard to fault. It does however suffer, in my opinion, from a lack of bass especially when at low volume. May be that’s just me? If you’re after a budget entry unit I couldn’t recommend this highly enough.

I recently bought a Cambridge Audio amp to replace an aged Technics amp that I’d thought was well past its best. I was so pleased with it that I couldn’t wait to upgrade my stop gap Denon CD player. I like my HiFi to match.

Both items look cool and understated by together they sound amazing. I’m no audiophile but I know that when I play a favourite album and I hear things I never knew were there. On all accounts this is a five star recommendation.

The only minor gripe is that the remote controls for both only work with their associated unit. I might be missing something but I can’t get the amp with all the CD buttons to work on the CD player. FOR: Looks, sound, value.

AGAINST: Remotes not interchangeable.

Excellent for our very specific purpose. My elderly mother-in-law has some cognitive deficit, and required the simplest possible radio to replace an older but still nice Bose Soundwave that she had. The Bose worked fine, but she had trouble with the alarm (somehow she was activating the alarm inadvertently, then music would ‘mysteriously’ blast her awake in the middle of the night when it went off).

This works great. We set it to her preferred station (and set all of the pre-sets to that station), and put a small bright red sticker at the power button, telling her just to push that button to get her radio.

So far so good. Quality is decent, simplicity is ideal (especially the lack of an alarm, which helps in this situation), and the retro look is comfortable for her, too.

I usually listen to my CDs in my car, but since I don’t drive too often, I figured I should get a CD player. Most other players were kind of ugly but this one looks nice on a shelf. It also has a lot of other features I didn’t necessarily need like radio stations and Bluetooth, but they were a great addition! Very easy to set up and use, it even comes with a handy dandy remote.

Sound quality is good however I haven’t tried listening to music on max yet. Rating the product 5 five because it met all my expectations and I am satisfied, nothing to complain about.

The receiver is terrible and doesn’t pick up 1/10 of the FM stations the prior set picked up in the exact same location. It doesn’t have a AM selection and the controls are insufficient for an office set.

Seriously considering returning it! Absolutely terrible unit. It wasn’t in the store on display but highly recommended by the sales rep so I purchased it. Will not do that again.

I purchased the Denon CEOL entertainment system to replace another Denon product. Its predecessor first failed with its CD, not unexpected, and then it’s analog controls began to fail. That should have been sufficient warning not to purchase another Denon product.

My new CEOL was purchased 9 months ago. Upon first using it, I found it more complicated for what should be a simple machine with menus upon menus upon menus. The remote control is poorly designed. I learned and put up with that.

After 9 months I decided to use the USB port to play my favorite music. Although the control for the USB is masterly complicated, what I didn’t expect was that the player paused and skipped sections of music as it read from the USB.

Totally unacceptable. Never again buy anything from Denon.

I’ve had this gem for awhile now and it really seems to do everything well. The majority of my listening comes from my Plex server or Pandora, and the sound is amazing. My jazz music sounds awesome, even streaming.

The HEOS app for phones/tablets makes it very easy to queue up music, and it allows the user to adjust the EQ from the app. Only (slight) dislike is when playing music from my turntable using RCAs. Sound is washed out a bit, but this was easily solved using an inexpensive Tubed pre-amp I got from Amazon.

Together they make old Led Zepplin albums sound better than they did in the ’70s.

An excellent value for a compact CD player that has its own amplifier. I use it on the shelf above my kitchen sink with two book shelf speakers. I have not used the volume beyond half way because that is plenty loud for the room.

The remote works good. The dimensions are 11 inches wide, 4 1/4 inches high and 12 inches deep. The power plug adds another 1 inch to the depth. The features I do not like are the controls on the unit.

These are on the top and in black along with a black surface. It is very difficult to see these controls because they are flush with the surface. It is actually easier to use the remote which has clear labeling of the control buttons.

It would have been better to have buttons on the front that are protruding from the surface. The two buttons on the front are: on and off, and the tray eject. Denon is an excellent name so I expect this unit to last a long time.

I know no one uses CDs now a day to listen to music but there are couple reasons why I picked this CD device. * I can hookup my music streaming to the CD (all smartphones) * The CD-200BT can play all MP3s and other files.

* CD Sound is awesome. * CD Rackmount on my Stereo Rack system. * Perfect for my garage stereo system.

Purchased this after my CD player finally quit working after 25 years. Very pleased and Tascam sent me free headphones after I registered. it. Love the auxiliary jack for other devices and the bluetooth!.

Arrived earlier than expected in sealed box. Great sound for the money paid for a quality item. I have several other SONY products now adding this to my collection. You can trust SONY for quality workmanship.

CD player works well. It even plays MP3’s and R/W. Takes just over 1/2 hour to rip a full CD to MP3. No repeat or shuffle features. Display a little bit small but rolls screen when it begins playing song title.

Won’t play my Bluetooth headphones. Overall very satisfied with this product.

I just bought this CD player and tried it in the car for the first time. I did not expect such good sound quality – sounds great and no skipping. The volume control is fine, certainly loud enough. Too soon to rate battery life.

I love that it comes with cables to charge and needs no batteries. If it continues to work well over time, it will be one of my favorite purchases.

This CD player is awesome, my jeep does not have a CD player nor XM radio. I have so many CDs with all my favorite music so I decided to give this a try. Best choice ever!! Not really a question but an observation against what I read here. This didn’t come with the AC power cable/adapter. I am not sure if it was missed in my order or they stopped shipping them with adapters.

I found one that worked then I removed it to try out another one. That didn’t work. I switched back to the one that had worked and it didn’t work again. Within the few mins I got it to work, I couldn’t figure out how to switch from radio to CC (my fault, i am sure its quite easy) but being that it didn’t have an external antenna, the FM radio wasn’t very clear.

Too much stress. I will be returning.

Bought this mostly for the small footprint and because Jensen makes great car radios. i’m disappointed in the sound quality of this device. I know the speakers are small and I was expecting minimal bass but the highs are missing too.

A very muddy sound that sets off resonant buzzing in the cabinet at times. This unit desperately needs a tone control or switch to bring back the highs. The device is otherwise well-made and everything works as advertised.

Bluetooth connects easily and stays connected. The tuning knob (on top right) does not rotate. Instead it is a “jog” control for tuning and track selection. Bounce for one jump, hold over for scanning.

Considered buying another unit for a different location but the sound quality is too bad, even for the sake of the small footprint.

Just needed a basic CD player for kids room. Thought I’d give this a whirl for looks and because it had the blue tooth feature. Very slim design- looks great in their room. Sound is very good and blue tooth was simple to sync and work with any device! Highly recommend for a slight upgrade to the basic bigger flatter designs out there for a few dollars more!.

This is a classy looking unit with front end CD tray loading. I like the sleek furniture look. The play features are awesome. Easy to setup and start listening to all my favorites.

We have it in the kitchen. The sound is amazing. A bit under powered for more than just the kitchen. But serves its purpose well. We use a spare cellphone on wifi to connect to the internet (e. g. Pandora).

Works best with the remote. the front panel buttons are hard to see/use.

Everything with product was good except when i turned the volume to a certain level on bluetooth mode it started to cutoff sound n give a static sound. Thats my only issue. unfortunately i wanted the headunit for the bluetooth but the bluetooth is the one thats messed up.

I love the design and black and gold color scheme of this stylish stereo system. I like the fact it can play my old school cd’s and has bluetooth pairing at the same time. It also allows for 20 FM radio presets which is always nice.

The bass is decent but not for the person looking for a wall shaking type of delivery.

I originally purchased a Sony box for my ex, but she said it sounded tinny and just awful, so we returned it. So I bought this for her instead, based on the great recommendation of your support staff, and she is blown away by it.

She loves the look, the sound, and all of the features. Bravo!.

I was very excited to receive this system, I needed something small and easy for my kitchen workspace, away from my main stereo. Well, unfortunately, almost nothing works correctly on it. The cassette deck does not play well, sometimes it plays at 2x speed, sometimes the sound washes in and out, sometimes it won’t rewind or fast forward without a horrible grinding gear noise.

The CD player generates an unlistenable amount of horrible noise on top of the music if you listen through the poorly shielded headphone jack, and a different horrible noise if you listen through the RCA outputs.

The record player sounds thin and awful, especially when compared to the CD player sound, which at least has some bass under the noise. There is no EQ feature either, in case you wanted to add any bass or subtract any treble.

The SD card recording feature that they advertise is factory preset to record only at 128 kbps MP3, the worst recording quality possible. This gives you an indication of the quality of the build on this stereo system.

Very disappointed with this, and having to work very hard to get the purported 30 Day Money Back Guarantee to take effect, they have required me to take videos and make audio recordings of the system working improperly, when I really just want my money back to try and find a system that works.

Avoid.

Unit arrived broken, majority of cassette tapes wouldn’t play and when one did play, it would only have sound coming out the right speaker. Vinyl player arm looks like it was glued back on after being broken as well.

Customer service is slim to none when contacted about this. They are very slow at responding, it takes several days. They’re not located in the United States, they’re located in China. Asked for a refund and they are fighting me on it despite the proof I showed of the unit being broken as stated before.

AVOID THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU LIKE BROKEN, TERRIBLE PRODUCTS AND LOVED BEING SCAMMED! IF YOU NEED A VINYL PLAYER, GET ONE FROM AMAZON OR A REPUTABLE SELLER!.

I bought this product at the time that it was advertised that the SR button could be used to enhance the bass sound, which was the selling point for my decision to buy. That button did nothing but paused the operation.

I am renewing my vinyl collection that was lost. I really wanted to hear quality sound as advertized and only heard what sounded like a clock radio, and not Bose. After begging to be refunded, I had to pay for shipping, which amounted to almost half of what I paid for the product.

I was told that I will not be refunded for shipping for a product that was falsely advertised. I merely wanted to throw some business this company’s way, but I learned my lesson.

This CD player is a must to have. It has everything needed to fulfill an array of playing music.

Product is just fine, but shipping leaves a lot to be desired. Very slow shipping and could not track.
