I just can not say enough about how elegant this kettle looks. I have never seen a marble kettle like this anywhere before. The BELLA 1. 5L Ceramic Electric Marble Kettle is not only light weight, but it heats water quickly and evenly.

I use it for my Father who is elderly when making him his tea and oatmeal in the mornings. I have received so many compliments on this appliance! And the auto shut off is by far the best feature! I am forgetful at times and if I happen to walk away I do not have to worry about it.

Once the water boils the kettle shuts off and the water stays warm for quite some time. I would highly recommend this product!.

The kettle is perfect for my home and entertaining. The pattern flows nicely with the modern design of my home. This is the first time I have seen such a unique pattern for a kettle. The practical part of the kettle is the auto shut off.

Full disclosure. I’m more of a tea drinker than a coffee drinker, especially when it comes to home preparation. I’d been wanting to purchase an electric kettle for a while, but am very particular and was having a hard time finding one that I liked aesthetically and had all the features I wanted.

I had eliminated the Stagg because I didn’t care for any of the colors, so I’m glad they released the Sweet Cream color because this kettle has all the features I wanted! The kettle and base are very pleasing to look at! Currently I’m using it upstairs since my partner and I have COVID (serendipitous timing for this purchase, I know – who knew an electric kettle would come in handy during another summer heat wave) but I can’t wait to add it to my beverage cart because it’s so pretty! It also feels thoughtfully designed and is a pleasure to use, although I find it slightly heavy with water.

Feature wise, it checks all the boxes for me. Personally, I find the size to be perfect! No one is drinking more than a cup or tea at a time. I like not having to boil way more water than I’m going to reasonably use in time.

The automatic hold feature is very nice although I haven’t gotten much use out of it yet. The variable temp was crucial for use with tea, and I appreciate that I’m not limited to presets. It also has a memory function, which is nice, but it’s also super quick and easy to set the temp.

I like the stopwatch feature in theory, but I wish it had a timer option instead/in addition. It would also be nice if it could chirp or something when it reached temperature. I find the water heats up super quickly, as well – within a few minutes.

Overall, it’s a huge improvement in form factor, precision, and efficiency from my stovetop kettle and thermometer setup. I would say I wish I had purchased sooner but I’m really obsessed with the color so I’m glad I waited! Can definitely see myself purchasing another for the office this fall/winter.

A little pricey but quite nice (both in aesthetics and functionality) and is working well so far. Liking the wooden handle, though I did need to tighten its screw after only a couple uses (luckily I had a 3.

0 mm hex bit on hand). The temperature control is great, I especially like that it keeps the temperature for a few minutes even when the “hold temperature” feature is turned off (holding for an hour seems excessive, but a few minutes is perfect for me).

Would prefer if it turned off automatically when the carafe is removed from its base — after setting it back down, it will try to bring it to temperature again, but I often empty the pot entirely. I’ll have to get used to turning it off manually as I don’t want to rely on it eventually detecting that it’s empty.

I do like that it remembers the temperature setting between uses. Since it’s only 1200 watts it’s not the fastest kettle, but its smaller volume makes up for it. I tend to boil just over a mug’s worth at a time.

The interior is all high-quality stainless (except for a small silicone seal around the temperature probe), no plastic. The cover is stainless steel as well, and is fully removable instead of hinged, which is so much easier to work with.

Would have appreciated a limescale filter, but I guess this will force me to descale more regularly 🙂 The plug is “upside-down” for me (the typical orientation of wall sockets varies regionally), which combined with the very short cord makes a very awkward loop in the air on my counter.

Edit: since my review, I have actually decided to remove a star for another issue that I am having. The button to turn on the kettle is not very sensitive and sometimes takes 4-5 presses before the kettle turns on.

Between this and the loading screen, it takes a lot longer to turn on than an average kettle that only requires a flick of a button. This combines with my previous cretique to get a 4/5: It reboils when you put it back on the base (and there is no option for this not to happen).

I often use the entire kettle’s worth for a pourover, and then instinctively put it back on the base, where it could start boiling empty if I’m not careful to turn it off each time. Original review: There are lot of electric pourover kettles out there that are similarily priced or cheaper, but this is an icon.

Coffee fanatics just know the shape from a mile away. And for good reason, there’s really nothing wrong with the kettle except being a little expensive. I bought this after having the stove top version for a couple years, and it boils very fast.

I love the version I got with a walnut handle and the Easter egg is awesome though I won’t spoil it. I have 2 little gripes that don’t make or break the kettle, but it would be nice if they were fixed.

Number 1, the rubber feet aren’t balanced and it rocks pretty badly. One of these days, I’ll modify it, and I’m fine with doing that. The second, is that after you pour and go to replace the kettle in the base, it starts boiling again.

And it’s usually empty after the pour too. I wish it behaved differently, but once you get used to it,byou just put the kettle to the side instead, or turn off the base. For these reasons, it’s actually a 4.

I have my Bella kettle in white with blue. I’ve had her for 6 years now. This kettle is so durable! It is slightly heavy(ceramic). It heats up really fast about 3 minutes. I’ve kept it well maintained and used it very often, almost everyday since we are all mostly tea drinkers in my home.

I highly recommend, not only is it a great working kettle it looks so cute on my kitchen counter. I love!.

This electric tea kettle is one of the best I’ve used! It is very heavy and great quality. It boils the water very quickly and I’ve had zero issues using it. There’s no after taste either. It’s also very easy to clean! It’s the only brand of tea kettle I plan on purchasing in the future.

This is a nice looking and fast to boil kettle. It is all ceramic so be prepared to hold on to it carefully with both hands when full. In other words, it is useful to have strong hands which I don’t.

Good price and good quality. Nice long electrical cord!! The kettle seats on the base and then it boilds (nice feature). It has a light switch ON/OFF. I accidentally submerged the base in water and left it to dry at 37 C for a day after a nice shake and it still works.

Overall, a nice kettle, pretty, but very heavy.

I am extremely happy with my purchase of the ceramic teapot hot water electric kettle. The pink color and shape is very cute, and the easy method of boiling water in about a minute is perfect for coffee, tea, instant oatmeal, and ramen, or soaking dishes in the sink.

If I had one complaint, it is that even with the lid rotated correctly in the slots to stay on, the lid rattles and slides and threatens to fall off when you pour it forward, which would be solved by a silicone gasket around the base of the lid.

The lid also gets extremely hot, even on top of the finial. Overall it’s a great reliable little kettle and you can’t beat the sweetness of the design.

My Pinky Up tea pot is perfect! Mint color is a very cool green/blue. Ceramic and sturdy with a perfectly shaped spout to pour easily. Holds just the right amount of water to keep me in tea all day. Automatic shut off is a wonderful safety feature.

I saw the review of the USED and dirty tea pot that was sold when the customer expected a $90 new electric tea pot. My mom bought a new iron and she had the same experience. It was noticeably filthy and resold as new.

If that happens once it could be an error, but twice in different parts of the country, its a policy. Makes me wonder how many used items they resell. Maybe do some quality control on returns before reselling it.

We rely on you to get it right, so do that.

I recently bought this via Walmart, managed to snap one up right before they sold out. This kettle is gorgeous. The silver foil design is so classic, and complements our kitchen nicely. The kettle is a bit heavy because of the ceramic, but no heavier than a full teapot.

The ceramic insulates the water so it stays hot longer, and the silicon seal on the lid helps retain energy to make this more efficient than steel kettles I’ve had, with the bonus that it doesn’t spew steam everywhere when it’s done boiling.

We boil a full kettle of water and then just need to reheat it for a short time for refills. Another great thing is that it doesn’t drip when you pour it. Finally, most stainless steel kettles have a plastic mesh screen to filter out hard water deposits.

This kettle doesn’t have that screen. We haven’t had any trouble yet with hard water deposits. But the plastic screen in every other kettle I’ve had failed within 6 months or less of heavy daily use, sending plastic bits into the water.

Not having to deal with that at all has been great. I hope this lasts forever, it’s a great kettle.

I bought this kettle in October 2019 and have only used it on special occasions. I got it out this week and found it leaking water everywhere from the base. I cannot use it now. I plan on calling customer service and hope to get a positive response, and help with a new one.

Until it started leaking, I would highly recommend this product. When it worked correctly the water heated up nicely and it was so easy to use. Based on how customer service responds will determine if I would recommend the product or not.

I hope I haven’t wasted my money with this product.

I purchased 3 of these kettles for Christmas gifts. One was for a sister, one for a friend, and one for me. One kettle had a defect in the ceramic, so I returned it for exchange. I am still waiting for my new kettle.

My neighbor has one of these kettles, and I thought it was so nice I wanted to get one for myself and friend/family. It is very pretty and “classy” for a teapot! I haven’t been able to try my own yet, but believe it will be a great addition to our kitchen and entertaining with friends/family.

The only thing I would have designed differently if I were the manufacturer is that the handle does not seem to be need to be SO LARGE. Even for average hands, the handle is a little overbearing, but the quality, usefulness, and style of the tea kettle is worth the price and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this teapot over the usual stove-top types.

I have a little different design of the flowers. They are nevertheless really pretty. I am giving this one to my daughter, love, love, love it. Perfect for cold weather. Yes I live in southern Ca. , but we do get cold days.

Hi, This is a really pretty teapot that is fun to watch change from Blue to pink when it boils. I was looking for a teapot that was all ceramic, which did not turn out to be the case. Inside the teapot, there are two small areas that are plastic, so that the water has a little bit of a plastic taste to it.

They are screw covers in the bottom of the pot right in the boiling plate area. It’s a bummer that they did not stick to stainless steel and keep it plastic free.

Great for the office. Heats up quickly and fun to watch it change collets when its hot. Very very happy!

I have loved everything I have purchased from your store but Aunt Polly’s Kettle is my absolute favorite. I bought it a couple of years ago and I liked it so much that I purchased one for my daughter and another for my daughter-in-law.

I bought the Ceramic Electric Tea Kettle over a month ago it finally arrived: After washing the insides of the tea kettle gentle washed the outside. I have used the tea kettle 3 times. I am leery of the base where the tea kettle sits as it heats up the water.

It has a petroleum smell to it: might be it is just new. I have an electric coffee pot I purchased years ago. I use that to heat up water to use in my French press to make coffee. The electric coffee maker I purchased from The Vermont country store; also.

Must now be about 3 years ago.

The delivery was very fast and it was nice. I was waiting with a great desire to quickly see and show my relatives this purchase as my chosen gift for myself. I would like to return the teapot, because in the picture I liked this teapot precisely in style and pattern.

But on the teapot I received today, the picture is very far from the original that is shown in the picture on the site. On the teapot I received, the picture is like one solid red spot, you can say so.

On the site for sale, the picture is clearly drawn with the details of colors drawn, and the color scheme of the petals goes from one color to another, the leaves of the flowers are completely different in color.

They differ in color for the worse, as opposed to the picture on the site. Bloopers in the printed image. I am very disappointed with these differences. I buy such a stylish teapot for the functions, but I also choose visually.

I would be glad if your company can offer me exactly the same teapot and with a beautiful pattern, as I see on the site for sale. How can we solve this? Should I return this teapot and order again, in the hope that I will get the same teapot as in the photo?.

It heated the water well however the pot is a little hard to hold on to when it’s full and the top doesn’t have a seal. It is smaller than what I wanted.

We recently received and tested this electric kettle and we weren’t disappointed. The kettle is a nice companion to our onyx kitchen aid artisan mixer. It’s interior is as sleek as its exterior. The heating element is completely encased in the body of the kettle, so there’s no exposed heating element where deposits can build up.

It boils hot in under five minutes and is simple enough for a three year old to operate (though this is not advised without proper supervision). One of the flaws is that it still turns on if water is below the minimum fill line (or even when it’s empty).

It would be great to have an automatic shutoff feature. And while it can hold 1. 5 liters of water, it’s not ergonomically designed to do so properly. One liter of water feels most comfortable for pouring.

And when I say it boils hot, it boils super hot! Water temperatures in this kettle are hotter than my stove kettle. I’ve had to adjust water ratios for my three year old so that his tea isn’t scalding hot.

If your an avid tea drinker that uses different temperatures to steep different types of teas, this is something you’d want to keep an eye on. Over all, we’re very pleased with this product.

Bought this kettle in empire red in August 2019. For a couple of months we heard a clicking sound coming from the kettle while not in use. Same sound the automatic shut off makes when the water is boiling.

We also noticed the water boiling for longer then normal prior to it shutting itself off. This morning for the first time the automatic shut off did not work. Hoping this is a simple fix by replacing a part on my own, hoping Kitchaid can assist me with a diagnosis and part number, as at first the kettle worked better then your average kettle plus it looks like a show stopper sitting on the counter!!.

I’ve spent months searching for an electric kettle that had an interior consisting entirely of stainless steel with zero percent plastic. Many manufacturers claim their kettles have 100% stainless steel interiors but upon closer inspection you will find a plastic spout filter or plastic lid.

I was ecstatic to find KitchenAid made a kettle whose interior was truly 100% stainless steel. I was about to order two (one for myself and one for another family member) but decided against the order when I learned the kettles are not available in black anymore in Canada.

This kettle is available in other colours in other countries but in Canada your only choice is red. A red kettle would look like a mini fire hydrant on my kitchen countertop. Sorry, KitchenAid, this looked like the perfect kettle for me but the colour is a deal breaker.

Good handle and how light it is – makes it easy to pour over an Aeropress. It’s simple and takes up a small amount of real estate on the bench. The Brewista 1. 2L is a better amount for general use though.

I struggle making tea with this one. I think we’ve had 2 of the Brewistas and one of these previously and I like them both, but they don’t last long enough (OK, one of those I dropped it and broke the spout).

The old stove top version has been going since the 1960s and we did go back to that for a while. The speed and temperature control of these is addictive. This one has a better handle. REally wish they lasted longer than a couple of years or you could buy the bits separately at least.

I’m a forgetful person, and have burned at least a couple of expensive saucepans, from forgetting I was boiling water on my stove. Not anymore! After a third near-fire at my kitchen, in under one year, while I’d forgotten a pan with water on my stove Christmas day, I realized that had to stop.

I ordered this teakettle the following day, for its features, materials, quality, and auto-shutoff features. Though it’s too soon to talk about its long-term use—so far, I’m quite pleased, (AND relieved).

PROs: It heats up my water quite quickly, keeps the Temperature I want to keep, AND has a 1-hour Auto shutoff Feature. Its gooseneck spout is PERFECT for spill-free cup refillings; it looks stylish, with a deceptively low profile, on my counter.

CONs: It does get noisy (which in my case, it is a good thing); its hot outer surface could burn a careless hand; Its water level markings are inconveniently located on the same side as the handle (unless you’re a “leftie” this is inconvenient); Owner’s Manual does recommend not to use it on same Circuit as another High-Wattage appliance, lest you trip the circuit.

I became interested in Japanese green teas as a potter making small tea bowls. I discovered the Bonavita electric kettle after struggling for months to bring water to the proper temperature for optimum tea brewing, and have been using one for more than a year.

Overall, I have absolutely no complaints and would definitely buy another one just like it if this one ever fails.

I bought this brand 13 years ago when it was all grey (not two-tone) and it is still going strong. Only the enamel coating on the lid button is slightly the worse for wear. By contrast, 2 Breville glass jugs (made in China) used in another part of the house have failed, one after 3 years and the other after 3 uses! Im planning to by Braun again, although I do like glass kettles.

I was disappointed when I used the kettle for 2 days because of a strong plastic smell and flavor in the water. However after 2 weeks the water quality improved. The Kettle boils quickly. I don’t believe I would buy the same Kettle again, I will go for a glass Kettle with my next purchase.

Have been looking for a replacement for my last Braun Kettle (Aqua) which was the best ever because of the balance of the handle, can use left or right handed, and it was the QUIETEST to use. Love love loved it – but like most of that model it started to leak from the bottom, so I hope that they have remedied it with this model.

This kettle replaced one that we loved (a Krups with a glass carafe) but which had outlived its usefulness. It was no longer programmable (212° was the only setting that worked), it occasionally balked at starting, and it was unreliable about stopping.

Worse still, it had started leaking both top and bottom. With tea-drinking relatives coming for Christmas, it was time for a change! I like that this kettle has one-button start and that Keep Warm is the default, making it pretty much foolproof.

I love the lighted water window and controls and the audible signal when it reaches the desired temperature. One complaint: Since we push the kettle to the back of the counter and pull it out for use (to get the steam out from under the upper cabinets), I wish it would slide more freely and that it were easier to push it without risking a burn from the hot carafe.

The old kettle had controls on the base, so the base was larger than the carafe, making this easier. But I do like the compactness of the new one, and it was a pleasure to be able to program the kettle for Oolong tea when we got Chinese takeout over the holidays!.

While it’s not the same as my other kettle, this one is sleek in design, easy to use, easy to pour, allows for you to achieve the perfect temperature for your needs and will keep the water at temperature for 30 minutes, so frequent hot beverage drinkers will appreciate that convenience.

I gave it 4 stars because the window to observe how much water is going on, is obscured by the handle and so you can’t easily tell when it’s to the max line, which is important to me so that the water doesn’t splatter out when coming to a boil.

It’s on the pricy side of things but Cuisinart is a well known brand with well made products and a good history of longevity so totally worth the money. A great kettle for any home or place of business.

After years of having a standard electric kettle, I gifted myself the PerfecTemp Cordless. One of the best appliances I have ever had for my needs. I can now set the exact temperature for my different types of tea (from delicate to Yorkshire) and for my French press coffee.

I also bake challah (bread) almost every Friday, and I can now set the temperature for the proofing of my yeast on the kettle. Nice wide lid and design is great for keeping clean (old one was trickier).

I fill it each evening with filtered water from my frig, turn it on in the morning, and wait for the beep to know it’s done. Very happy with this product. Highly recommend it over standard tea kettle (which I have fried on my stovetop); whistling tea kettle (annoying, especially when I am renting in an apartment and want tea at 6 a.

m. ); or standard electric tea kettle. Worth the money to upgrade. Wish I had done it years ago!.

I am so disappointed. I’d been eyeballing this for a while and finally decided to splurge when my Capresso Gooseneck was showing signs of internal Corrosion. This item Heats fast but that is due to the smaller capacity.

The on off button does not function right. Some times it takes 5 presses to turn it on. In the two months since purchase, this switch has gotten worse. I reached out to WLL and representative directed me to contact the manufacturer.

Their website has a service request form, but no phone contact. My online request for help has not received a human response in 3 days. Ok so when it heats, it should stop at the temp I set it to. Sometimes it goes several degrees higher.

I would expect finicky electronics after a few years not right out of the gate. I wish I had stuck with replacing my Capresso with like make and model. Instead, I picked up a regular kettle for half the price and am Enjoying consistent and fast without the bs gooseneck which is really not that important.

I bought this for the same reason everyone else did, not the fancy controls, or particular quantity of water it holds; this borders on art. It is beautiful, and in this aspect, it does not disappoint in any way.

Let us be clear, I am not an alarmist, but this thing has no regard for safety or associated control. If you lift the kettle off while it is still heating (say you lift it off at 99C while set to 100C), and lets be honest we all do this, then put the empty kettle back on the pad, it just keeps heating.

With no water. I’ll you figure out how well that goes. You have to turn it off manually or let it overheat. With all the gorgeous electronics nestled within, you’d think they would have the basic safety control of shutting off the heater when you lift it off, like every CSA approved kettle ever.

Then there is the pouring, this thing pours slower than my tears at the realization thereof; painfully slow you might say. This is both annoying, and hurts; partly my soul, partly my wallet, but mostly my hand.

This kettle pours so artificially slow that beyond the burning of your muscles while holding this art piece aloft admiring it and willing it to pour fast enough to justify its existence and expense, it is just begging to pour boiling water on your hands.

Something about the particular shape that doesn’t need to be tipped very far over before water dribbles out around the lid as you desperately try to to hurry it along. Deity of your choice help you if you have the lid holes facing the wrong way.

I suspect all reviewers here agree deep down in their souls, but have trouble coming to terms with dropping $200-$300 on a kettle that you can’t take your eyes off, but you know is the worst kettle they will ever own.

Do not, under any circumstances, buy this kettle.

I recently bought this kettle for a small counter space in my new travel trailer, when I have time to do a pour over coffee & enjoy the peace and quiet. It is a perfect sized kettle to make 2 good sized cups of coffee for a couple.

I bought the copper style, and it looks gorgeous on the counter, and takes up minimal space. The functions on the kettle are straight forward & easy to use as per the instructions, and I like that you can set your desired temperature, and the kettle will hold that temp for a full hour, if you set it to hold.

The kettle base also has a timer on it so you can time your pour over to perfection. The instruction manual also explains exactly how to this. This is a very slow pour kettle made specifically to control the rate of the pour.

The only negatives in my opinion, are that the shape of the handle makes it easy to accidentally stick out your thumb & burn it, so be careful. Also, a soft bell might have been nice to let you know the kettle is up to temperature.

As well, if you have the “Hold” feature turned on, it will stay on after you empty your kettle & put it back on the base. For safety reasons, I think it would have been better to have the “hold feature” always go off after you lift the kettle off the base, & then reset it yourself if you still have water in the kettle to keep warm.

These are just a few things to keep in mind, but overall, I’m extremely pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend this kettle. It arrived on time and was well packaged. Excellent service!.

My mother got this kettle for me a couple of years ago and I love it! When my daughter moved into her own apartment, she couldn’t find a kettle she liked as well as the one in MY kitchen, so I got her one of her very own.

It’s so pretty and vintage-looking! It boils water very quickly for tea or French press coffee with just a press of a small switch at its base. When the water boils, it shuts off automatically so there’s no worry of wondering if you “left the kettle on.

I had loved my electric hot water kettle. But the other day the plug melted the outlet and started on fire, very scary! I am not sure if the plug was faulty or the outlet had some sort of issue. I may take it to an appliance repair shop and see if the plug can be repaired.

Unfortunately many made in China items like this one, may not be worth it, and it should go in the trash. Too bad because it was good while it lasted. I cannot recommend it.

This is my second kettle of the same model. I gave away the first one to a friend of mine, after a year of using it happily. The second time around, I looked for something different for a change, but couldn’t find anything else that can hold this much water (1.

7 litre) and still looks nice (I won’t say this is stylish, but better than many). Bonus! It turned out it’s even quieter than the older model I had. I like the wide spout for filling up the kettle fast (although I like the look of skinny one but it takes too long.

We bought this kettle a few years and noticed several problems with this product. First – inside it started to build rust and second, the cover was not able to open. Just yesterday the cover fell off, three crews holding the cover broke from the handle where it was mounted.

Looks like it is not a good concept of design at all. Contacted the product support and they not helping at all, saying the product is out of the warranty. So will just trash it and buy a different brand.

Do not recommend buying this KitchenAid 1. 7L Electric Kettele.

This kettle looks nice and it’s great for variable temps and holding temp, but I wouldn’t buy it again. The pop-lid mechanism is terrible. I started having issues with the button (I would have to press it at a certain angle for it to work) – until it got to the point that I was refilling it through the spout because it took so many tries to get it open.

I contacted customer service and they sent me a replacement. A couple months later the same thing started happening. Now even the spring on the lid has given up – so I have to press the button in a certain way, while lifting the lid with another finger (and then holding it open with the kitchen faucet).

I thought the first one might have been a lemon or a dud, but the second one proved me wrong. All my kitchen appliances are KitchenAid but this kettle was a mistake – especially for the price tag. I had a cheap Sunbeam kettle that gave me no problems for more than 5 years.

This entire saga was under 12 months.
