20 Best Cereal For Toddlers (2022 Updated)

I had high expectations for these, but I was very disappointed. ☹️ I was expecting a sweet strawberry Nesquick flavor, but instead got this weak, dull, strawberry Slim fast type flavor. I took one bite and I spit them out and threw the entire box away.

I don’t know what’s going on with Frosted Flakes,but none of their cereal taste like they used to. First of all they are not flakes anymore, they are just crumbs. And they have greatly reduced the sugar content so they are not sweet at all.

Even the regular flavored ones taste bad. Sorry, but it’s true. They are not good.

While this is my all time favorite cereal and also live in constant fear they will be discontinued, I have to confirm all the other reviews here and specify these are totally Corn Flakes with marshmallows.

I’ve noticed they’ve added more marshmallows as of about a year ago, as they’ve probably noticed the feedback. My best guess in terms of why they held out on the “frosted” part is they thought it would be too sweet for most people? Look, people who purchase a cereal called, “Frosted Flakes With Marshmallows” know (or THINK they know!) what they’re signing up for.

And people who wouldn’t come near such a thing aren’t going to buy it based on its name, yes? So stop skimping on the sugar/frost and just give the people what they ask for!.

I love how great this cereal taste the little Marshmallows add the little bit of cream to pull the bite together to really mimic the tastiness of the frosty. The little chocolate puffs are so tasty and aren’t too crunchy.

The textures this cereal has to offer is great and really makes it taste like I’m eating a frosty. I love the size box this cereal comes in, it makes it great for sharing. My whole family sat and ate a bowl of this, my daughter didn’t know it was frosty cereal and she said “momma this taste like a frosty from Wendy’s”.

My whole family enjoys Wendy’s frosties so I’m sure this cereal will be a fun treat to get again and again to make the whole family excited about eating breakfast. I would recommend this to anyone who loves to have a Wendy’s frosty as a treat because it tastes just like a Wendy’s frosty and it’s super fun to eat this cereal.

I love the value and quality this cereal has to offer because it’s as close to eating a frosty workout actually eating one.

Two of my favorite things are cereal and frostys. When I seen this cereal I was so excited! I love the whole concept of it. It’s very different and it works! My whole family was excited to try it. This cereal is filled with chocolate flavored multi-grain cereal pieces, marshmallows, and the amazing, delicious taste of chocolate Frosty.

This cereal has 7 vitamins and minerals and a good source of fiber. Honestly this cereal is so good that you don’t even have to use milk. It’s good dry as well. Not only And it’s great as a breakfast meal but as a snack through the day as well.

Another plus of buying this cereal is that it comes with a a get one free small Frosty or Frosty-ccino with any purchase at participating locations. If you haven’t tried this cereal you definitely should!.

It doesn’t exactly taste like a Frosty from Wendy’s, but it tastes like an even better version of Cocoa Puffs—and with chocolate marshmallows! The end of the cereal bowl blesses you with chocolatey milk, too! I wish the marshmallows were bigger, but they add a nice touch.

The puffs have a smooth texture like Reese’s Puffs, so thankfully the roof of your mouth avoids damage. It doesn’t get soggy, either! Delicious, you have to try it!.

My son and grandson love it! They wait for it to come out every year! My son is 40 lol. He was ecstatic to find out its gluten free, as he was recently diagnosed with celiac disease.

Boo Berry is great. Delicious! So glad it’s back for Halloween again especially with the classic artwork on the box.

The halloween season I like to have my Boo Berry. the flavor is good not necessarily a berry flavor, but still fun to eat.

I first tried this cereal when I was an extremely young child, my mother gave me a small bag of it dry to keep me occupied while she worked on speaking to someone. My only memory that accompanies that is that I loved the texture and flavor, it was just a satisfying snack.

After that I had completely forgotten about it, until one day I had a random craving. Now I hadn’t thought about this cereal for so long, it turned out I completely about this cereal, but I craved the nostalgia of that memory, the satisfying crunch, and the familiar flavor.

After a few months, I thought I was going crazy as I couldn’t remember the what the darn thing even looked like. Eventually after a few rounds of cereal roulette, I had found this box. I was a bit disheartened to find that the taste had changed a bit, but that may be more the fault of my aging tongue rather than the formula or really anything in General Mills part.

I eat this cereal in the morning best paired with 2% milk, as to not heavily out weigh milk to cereal flavor. Then I usually put a small amount in sandwich bag to take with me to work. The look of this cereal allows me to eat these as a snack without really being judged, since it doesn’t look like typical cereal.

This cereal is one of my favorites, if not my absolute favorite for bringing me a moment of the past back into my day to day trudge.

Kix, 18 Ounce (510g) (Pack of 5), by General Mills Cereals. This Kix breakfast cereal has been around for many years. It consists of small puffed balls made out of corn, and has a rather bland but pleasant taste.

Thankfully, for the sake of preserving our health, it only has a minimal amount Sugar (3g) and an average amount of Salt (180 mg) per serving. Processed foods in general contain too much sugar and salt.

It would be nice if they did not contain any amount of either one, but you always seem to get stuck with moderate to large amounts of one or the other, and sometimes both at the same time. This cereal would be even better if it also had the equivalent of a daily multiple-vitamin pill added to it.

I recently bought this cereal, because it was recommended by a friend. In all honestly it is what you expect out of cereal. The flavor is alright, and so is the texture. BUT!!!! what really brought this home for me, was surprisingly an aesthetic and artistic point.

For my class we were required to sketch something with a repetitive texture, and with complex lighting. I surprisingly found this to be the perfect still object for me when put into a bowl and given lighting from an angle.

I got an A, so the bit of appreciation I can give is this review. and 5 Stars. Overall the cereal itself, has a fine taste good texture, and great quality.

I absolutely love fruit loops as does my family. It’s been a staple in my house for years and will continue to be. The taste has been the same for as long as I can remember and we eat it with or without milk morning or night sometimes.

I would definitely tell anybody in the cereal aisle staring at all the cereals thinking about which cereal to buy to grab a box of fruit loops anyway because it would never let you down. I buy this knowing it doesn’t have huge nutritional value, that’s my biggest fall back for lack of a star plus it all tastes the same. I give it four stars because it’s a childhood favorite that I let my kids enjoy from time to time.

I just wish it had more to offer and better flavoring for the different colors. It’s one I would buy again. I also wish cereal wasn’t so pricey per box but that could just be where I live.

My vet told me about this recently when my dog had serious stomach problems. They give plain cheerios to puppies because it’s gentle for them and they recommended I give this to my dog during this time as well.

I was surprised that my dog actually liked it and now it’s a staple treat in her life. It’s like a comfort food for her now. It also is great that I can snack on it and my dog can get some as well!.

This classic cereal is the perfect meal for any morning! It’s gentle flavor makes it a food that can be eaten any day, whether your stomach is feeling well or not. This cereal tastes excellent when eaten with milk or plain! I eat this cereal every day and it still hasn’t grown old.

Cheerios are my favorite cold breakfast cereal. They are primarily made from heart-healthy, fiber-rich, whole grain oats, and pack a wide array of important nutrients, including iron, fiber, and vitamin D.

Furthermore, Cheerios are low in calories, fat, and sugar. I find the taste of Cheerios to be pleasant and satisfying. I love to start my day with these little rings of oat-y goodness that have just a touch of sweetness to them.

How can Cheerios be beat? They can’t. Breakfast with or without milk, bananas, other fruit. Great as a snack. Great for those upset tummy foods during recovery. Children love them, and they are a non sticking, non sugary snack for the car.

They are part of our weekly routine breakfast. Healthy, protein filled deliciousness.

I’ll give it a four only due to the health factor. We aren’t huge on sugary cereals but we do love our fruit loops either for a snack, dun craft you can eat or a fun breakfast or something quick easy and makes the kiddos smile ! Corn pops are another fun breakfast option too.

With five kids it’s good to have options to have alone or pair with other breakfast items.

This is a mixture of boxes with 3 different cereals. These are useful if you’re on the go, but otherwise I don’t think tiny cereal of all things is practical. Price-wise these are going to be more expensive because of the convenience factor.

I would not buy these.

Green up eating these. My mom would get these ones for me when I wanted something sweeter. These were the “fun” cereal because of the colors and flavor. Definitely a classic and still eat til this day! 5/5.

i don’t normally do reviews on walmart but i had to write one for this. after reading all the good reviews on amazon about how great of a peanut butter taste it had i was sure this product would be excellent plus it supposed to be organic.

by far this is the worst cereal ever not only did it not have any peanut butter taste it was very hard and stale. i looked at the date and it was not expired. i would not recommend this cereal to anyone very terrible and definately do not taste nothing like peanut butter capn crunch.

do not do it this cereal is not worth 6. 98 a package of 26 oz. i was hesitant and had been looking at this for a while and decided to take a big chance on this cereal because of the reviews and purchased 3 of them and this time i wish had followed my hesitation.

Gerber has been a staple for my family for generations, so I could already attest to taste, quality and convenience. I utilize various products from Gerber when providing nutritious foods to my babies, so it was nice to see that they’ve incorporated even more nutrition in combining Gerber Oatmeal & Barley Apple Cinnamon in a convenient travel and quick snack/meal (4.

5 ounces total) to go that I can easily throw in my to-go bag for my rambunctious toddler. The tray was easy to puncture (for air release) and placed it in the microwave for the prescribed 20 seconds.

After stirring the contents, I did that first taste test myself (for flavor and temperature), and it was perfectly fine. My toddler put up no deterrence after consuming his first bite and it was gone in minutes.

It was nice that the consistency of the food was easy for my toddler to manipulate/maneuver with his spoon easily. As a parent, I loved that this Gerber Oatmeal & Barley Apple Cinnamon contained lots of fiber, vitamins, and minerals all packed into one.

It doesn’t contain artificial flavors, and in fact, is made with real fruit. I felt good feeding Gerber Apple Cinnamon to my toddler and will continue to do so.

I recently bought these to add to a gift for a friend with an almost 1 year old. She was trying all kinds of new foods as well as trying to keep her nutrition in line. Apparently this were a hit. All over.

Perfect morning breakfast for the little one. Its a perfect portion for them. Also great for roadtrip. They come in different flavor but the apple cinnamon is my son favorite. It’s not too sweet so it’s healthy.

Only thing I could say to improve it is make it so I dont have to microwave it.

I am a first time mom and very nervous about feeding my son the wrong things. He just turned 6 months old and his pediatrician suggested adding rice cereal because it’s a great source of iron. I compared the different options and also read some negative reviews about rice cereal in general.

However I chose Earths Best Whole Grain Rice cereal because it’s organic and no gmo. I’m confident in this product. I didn’t know how much to feed him at first but the box has a suggested serving of 1 tablespoon at first so I mix it 3-4 ounces of breast milk with it and he has no issues getting feed from the bottle.

Right now I only give him rice cereal once a day on days that I haven’t tried feeding him a solid food like banana or avocado.

I have used this same product with all three of my babies. At the time it was the only brand that had whole grain and not just single grain. We always like to add fruit and or peanut butter to add flavor as the babies grow.

Now that he is older, i plan to use the left overs to make him smoothies. Priced right. Con would be the packaging! Maybe a new packaging to open and store easier. The little pour spout is terrible. You always pour out more than ideal and it goes to waste.

This cereal box was originally listed to come packaged with a limited poster. There was no poster to be found for me or others based on the reviews, thus the cereal listing of a poster has now since been removed.

The cereal part actually fully tastes like OG Trix (before they made them into all those different shapes and colors, when they were just pink, yellow, green, & orange balls) and the little Baby Yoda heads are extremely sweet and taste lightly of vanilla.

Definitely, for those flights nowadays where food costs an exorbitant amount of money instead of being free, this would be a great lifesaver. It’s lightweight and small, and can keep for a while, I’m actually going to keep a pack in my backpack just because you never know when you’re stuck somewhere and hungry! If you must eat your cereal with milk, in a pinch, dry milk powder may do the trick.

About the product: Most flavors are pretty common and I do like them all, but Apple Jacks were new to me and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked it. The cinnamon was not overwhelming at all, and they basically were froot loops with what seemed like an extra crackle.

The cardboard box was easy to open from the top (I don’t know what the additional perforation along the back side does). There’s an additional plastic sleeve that seals in the freshness.

I did store pick up and bought 2 of these. I ate this cereal a few times for breakfast and they taste yummy! It tastes a little more like berries when it’s dry without milk, but the best and my favorite part is the shark fin marshmallows! I totally recommend this breakfast for any baby shark fan!.

Winn Dixie had them for 50% off! I only got one box but I should have gotten them all becuase this is a HIGHLY nutritional cereal!!! Babies and toddlers don’t get enough vitamins and minerals (not their fault but parents who don’t focus on a growing body’s needs).

They are alphabet shaped but sadly so tiny in shape so be careful if giving it out dry without milk. Love playing with this to learn the alphabet but again so small. $1. 99 I think yes!.

How silly to make a comment about GMOs since I bet you eat other foods like corn and potatoes but go ahead and enjoy this cereal as you will be eating less pesticides. Modern farming is a good. I bought this because my youngest loves Elmo. It is a new favorite of the whole family. It is a mix of a Cheerios taste yet with cinnamon. I will eat this instead of having dessert on some nights! So good!.
