Our family uses this product to make a pasta called Samela. Our Italian grandmother taught us how to make it and we have carried on the tradition. Best product to use. Only wish the Farina was easier to find.

Great hot cereal for those chilly mornings. I can’t help but to wonder too why this is so expensive. The same 28 oz. box is $3.49 in ShopRight??? Huh???

I love farina and in this brand. It taste great and is healthy. I raised my kids on it and was brought up on it myself and still eat it till this day. I love to add granola or chopped fresh fruit and raisins to it.

So for starters I just had a big old bowl of this for breakfast this morning which means I took a trip down memory lane to my childhood, camping with my family and eating lumpy cream of wheat cooked on a camping stove in the middle of Algonquin Park.

This has always been one of my favorites for the memories it brings up. Everyone I know who likes cream of wheat likes it smooth and liquidy except for me. Let mine stand in the pot for an extra 5 and don’t stir it.

I want it thick and lumpy. Then I’ll add some brown sugar and a little splash of milk before eating it. Funny story, once when we were kids my brother (knowing that I like the lumps) put a stone in my cream of wheat and waited for me to find it.

It wasn’t funny when I almost broke my tooth on it and then almost choked on it but it sure was funny when my mother gave him a blast of trouble for doing such a stupid thing.

Filling hot cereal, low cost, with many vitamins and good taste. It is not high in sugar except after adding any sweet toppings. Low sodium, no sugars, cholesterol or fat except in added milk/dairy. I cook it in a non stick omelet pan and eat it out of that, because it is ticks a lot and is hard to clean out of bowls, the only drawback.

Combine 3/4 cup water or milk with dash of salt, bring to a boil and stir in 3 tablespoons cream of wheat, turn on low and stir frequently until desired thickness. Add craisins while hot, pour milk over it to cool down.

The salt sweetens it enough even without adding the dried cranberries or raisins.

This has been eaten for breakfast by my family all growing up. My mom used to give me this as a toddler even so literally a long time. lol. it is just so delicious and you can put so many different things in it to make it your own or different.

I like mine with butter and sugar or with berries and maple syrup and don’t forget a big ole glass of milk! It is just a great soul warming, tummy filling and warming breakfast that for sure fills you up.

My mom made it for me before school and then I was able to make it on my own when I got older. I appreciate the microwave option with the individual servings for quick on the go breakfast but I prefer the original made on the stove and dish it out and serve it with everyone sitting around in the morning starting our day! That is a way food can coinside with memories!! I recommend anyone to try for sure!!.

This special K cereal with red berries in it is the one I replaced my bran cereal with. I had tried other bran cereals before finally selecting Special K, but I could not stand the taste of the other bran cereals.

I like the taste of Special K cereal with red berries, but it is not especially good for lowering cholesterol, and it has too much sugar in it for someone trying to control their weight–but it is my only choice.

I had one of the worst experiences of my life with a brand new box of this Special K—-I opened a fresh bag, poured a bowl, filled it with milk, and almost immediately bit into something foul that filled my whole mouth with a bitter, sour, oily, horrible taste.

I threw it up, brushed my teeth multiple times, and still couldn’t shake the horrible taste memory. I don’t know what it was exactly, but it had to have been a rat dropping or a insect part. I don’t expect everyone to believe me without actually seeing it, but I wouldn’t bother to leave a review otherwise.

I have eaten dozens and dozens (maybe hundreds) of boxes of Special K in my life, and this was the first horror situation. I may never be able to eat this exact flavor again. It was stomach turning and horrifying.

Accidents and crazy things happen all the time, so I have no trouble believing that a one in a million kind of thing happened, and there are all sorts of biological parts and remnants that make it into packaged and processed foods—whatever it was, it was vile.

So for a little background, I’m not a big cereal person mainly because I don’t like plain milk, only chocolate. So whenever I eat cereal, I always eat it dry. I also don’t like many different types of cereal, so I have a few select favorites and that’s it.

I already like the original Special K, but I love the Red Berries version. I really didn’t expect to like it as much as I do, mostly because I don’t really gravitate toward dried fruits. But for whatever reason, I love these dried berries and I love the cereal.

It’s one of my all time favorites whenever I am in the mood for cereal or picking one out at the supermarket, this will 9 times out of 10 always be my first choice. If you haven’t tried Special K before, you need too.

They also have a chocolate chunk version in place of the berries that is also really delicious! But I still personally prefer the berry version!.

I wouldn’t like it with milk. In Germany I learned to make a scrumptious breakfast with Weetabix. Heat fruit juice (I nuke a Pyrex measuring cup full of my favorite juice in the microwave for a minute), pour it carefully over the whole wheat bar to moisten it.

Then spoon either plain or vanilla yogurt over the moistened cereal bar. Then pour your favorite fruit over the yogurt. It’s so good I ate that every day for 2 years until I got tired of it. I’m ready for a Weetabix breakfast again! Yum!.

Now, this product was good at the time as I saw a deal with two weetabix boxes, and I thought at the time, I will try these as the weetabix cereals are usually quite pricey and for a deal, I thought one cannot go wrong with this deal at the time.

Also, I haven’t tried this particularly product as yet, but the weetabix ranges are usually very tasty and I have no doubt that this product will be the same too, & I would probable get the product in future, as weetabix is usually very good.

Lastly I thank Asda for their timely service to me, when I came to collect my order from the store, this gesture is truly appreciated.

Nothing as good as real weetabix. I’ve tried many different store brands, and while some are quite nice, others are awful. So, I’ve gone back to the original Weetabix. Although they cost more, it’s worth it.

Some of the cheaper brands are so hard and coarse.

So I tried this because it had pecans. I thought cinnamon would probably be okay too. Little did I know this would be the best cereal I’ve ate in years!! The flakes stay crispy til the end of the bowl-WINNER!! The flavor is exactly what I look for.

I am not your typical cereal eater. I don’t like much sweetness. This is perfect as it has all the grain type flavors mixed with just the perfect amount of sweetness without feeling like you are eating a bowl of sugar.

The cinnamon is prominent and delicious without being overpowering. I am totally impressed with the size of the pecan pieces. WOW! No itty bitty microscopic pieces but nice big, chewy ones. I love pecans so if these were tiny pieces it would be a deal breaker for me! So if you like cinnamon, pecans and great grain flavored flakes this is for you!! This is currently the only cereal I eat!!.

This is so tasty! Nice and sweet without being too full of sugar, that touch of vanilla doesn’t taste artificial at all! The perfect amount of nuts and crunchy goodness. Whoever thought to pair real almond slivers (which are not too chewy like some packaged varieties can be sometimes), subtly sweet vanilla, and the already amazing Special K flakes is an outright flavor genius! I have always really liked this brand of cereal, but this is the only version I have bought just for myself more than once.

It might even to get me to buy cereal on the regular. I even have a little baggy here in my bedroom for a healthier little midnight snack lol. I also plan to try blending into a morning shake for an almost hands free breakfast!.

For about 40 years now, this has been my go to cereal. Sure, I tried all the fruity and marshmallow stuff as a kid but always came back to Special K Original. At one point, it’s all I ate for weeks and it helped me lose about 40lbs (I know, not the healthiest idea).

I haven’t had this cereal in over a decade and boy has it changed. When Kellogs came the chocolate delight the was a great game changer. How trying for the first time after so many years the appearance changed completely with the cereal flakes being enlarged drastically, as well as the skimpy amount of chocolate morsels that are in this particular box.

I was so disappointed with the big flakes and the small portion of chocolate. This issue need to be addressed in reference to adding more chocolate to the gigantic wheat/Rice flakes. Add more chocolate please.

The packaging materials are cheap and ineffective. The cereal bags frequently have small holes, which looks like it may result from a manufacturing defect, as there are perforated lines running down the bags.

The cereal bags often have small holes because it also looks like the sharp cereal edges are able to puncture tiny holes in the bag during packaging, as the plastic bags are so thin. If you do happen to purchase an unpunctured bag of cereal, it is nearly impossible to open the bag properly, as the plastic is so thin that the entire bag of cereal rips from top to bottom, requiring use of a ziplock bag to store the remaining cereal.

The packaging materials are very disappointing – cheap, thin, and ineffective. The punctured bags contain stale cereal that has been open to air during transport. Nearly all bags require use of a ziplock bag and/or tupperware container to store the cereal, as the bags rip substantially when opened.

Despite enjoying Life cereal, it is expensive remaining a customer, as each purchase is a gamble: (1) will I ultimately purchase a punctured bag with stale cereal, or (2) will I rip the entire bag of cereal trying to open to open a new bag?.

I have literally eaten Cinnamon Life almost every morning for over a decade. I buy 3-4 boxes a week. I wouldn’t ever get sick of it; in fact, I’d still look forward to every bowl. Since the recipe change I just can’t eat it anymore.

I tried looking in different stores and carriers for a few months, but all the good old ones are gone. I can’t believe I have to find a new cereal. I see comments about removing artificial flavors etc… but what’s artificial about Cinnamon and sugar? There’s literally no cinnamon or sugar anymore.

If a consumer wants a sugarless cereal then buy a different one. I don’t see Lucky Charms trying to remove artificial flavors; consumers know what they’re buying. So why the sudden change for Cinnamon Life? I hope for me and the other die hard fans out there that sales will drop and they’ll bring some of the old back.

I buy Cinnamon Life Cereal multiple boxes at a time and always keep it in the pantry. I especially love getting that last bowl and getting the extra sugar and cinnamon which adds so much flavor to my milk.

However, it feels like recently there has been a big shift in taste and quality. At first, I went to the boxes and made sure I bought “Cinnamon Life”, which I have been eating since I was a kid. Then I thought that I might have just gotten a bad batch.

Maybe one day a batch was produced, but the sugar and cinnamon hopper was empty so they could not properly coat the squares, but they sent out the box anyway. This does not seem to be the case. After trudging through multiple boxes from my stockpile, I went to the grocery store to buy a new box.

I brought it home and found the same. The flavorful squares coated in Cinnamon and Sugar have been replaced with just the most bland cereal available. I am really confused about changing a very popular existing product.

Why not just let people buy original if they want the squares with no flavoring. The bad news is that for some reason Quaker is trying to slowly destroy all of their beloved formulas. The good news is that my tastebuds still work, which was really a concern of mine for a while after first noticing the change.

I’ve been eating this stuff for decades and long ago got used to the cardboard flavor, high price, and the little barbs that occasionally irritate my throat and make me choke cough (sort of like swallowing roach antennae).

But this stuff works for me and I would normally give it 5 stars. However, for the last few months there has been something wrong with the All Bran from my local Walmart (Mt. Pleasant SC). It has an odd bitter taste and it stings the side of my tongue.

I don’t know if something died in it or just too much of one of the vitamins or something. Meanwhile, the All Bran from the local Harris Teeter still has the normal bland flavor to which I had become accustomed.

If anyone from Kellogg’s wants to see what I mean, I have most of a full box of the stuff at my house you can have. I had bran flakes for breakfast this morning, Tastes a lot better than All Bran but will it have the same effect?.

I was hesitant about trying this cereal because of the bran content. I’m not a fan of bran cereals, but I do need to get a good amount of fiber in my diet. This works like a charm. The cereal looks like little brown pellets, and I must admit they are not very pleasant looking.

The box of cereal itself, was very heavy compared to other cereals, and I know that’s from the amount of bran. Once I added milk to the bowl of cereal, it took on a little different shape. Perhaps I let it sit too long in the milk, so it did become mushy.

I tried the All-Bran again the next morning, adding the same amount of milk as the day before. Once I started eating it, it took a long time for me to chew the cereal. I liked that because it took me longer to eat, and I felt full much faster.

Other cereals leave me wanting for more, because my hunger isn’t satisfied, but All-Bran really did the trick. Since I lack fiber in my diet, my bowels tend to become sluggish. All-Bran works just as well as high fiber mixes or pills, and tastes much better.

I don’t like sugary cereals (I usually stick to the basics), so this product is what I like. Keep the high fructose cereals for the kids (although I don’t recommend it), but I think All-Bran is wonderful for adults.

I also think the pricing is good, because this product will last much longer than other cereals. I believe this is good for dieters, and anyone interested in a healthy life style. Chew away, and enjoy the benefits of All-Bran.

Kellogg’s All Bran cereal is a classic healthy choice. Its nutritional values make it one of the healthiest cereals anyone can eat. With skim milk, it has only 120 calories per serving. There is no saturated fat and the net carbs are only 13 because of the fiber.

The taste, all by itself, is acquired. But, we mix it in with other cereal. I have also baked the original All Bran muffins. They are dense but have enough flavor and are a healthier alternative to other muffins.

Top that muffin with a little bit of butter or honey, and it’s a very healthy snack or breakfast with a hot cup of tea or coffee. We have tried GM Fiber One but Fiber One does not appear to be as dense even though it states it offers 55% fiber value.

They are almost the same price although All Bran is a better price value – a box of All Bran is over 18 oz while Fiber one is only 16. 2. We go back & forth between the 2 but almost always will choose Kellogg’s All Bran over Fiber One.

Because it offers a whopping 40% of daily fiber intake, it makes it a staple in our kitchen cabinet. If you need to get more fiber in your diet, think about adding All Bran to your breakfast. You won’t be sorry.

I bought this for the first time. I’ve always bought the other Cream Of Wheat brand. But the last few years the previous Cream Of Wheat has a sort of chemical taste I can’t tolerate. So I stopped buying it.

Oatmeal products have this same smell and taste. I can only guess it’s an overdose of glyphosate. But who knows. In trying the Malt-O-Meal it truly reminded me of how hot cream wheat should taste. Give this stuff a try.

It really does taste good. I cook it with milk instead of water. Makes a more flavorful fulfilling breakfast and top with banana or other fruit.

DECLICOUS! When prepared properly (Boil water first, SLOWLY add the m-o-m product, and STIR CONSTANTLY) it is awesome and doesn’t have the off flavor instant packet stuff has. It’s just the wheat and that’s it.

And it takes maybe a minute more time than instant. It’s not hard. Just keep stirring. Plus you can easily store more and use it over time than packets.

I’ve always loved Chocolate Malt O Meal! I’ve eaten it ever since I was a little girl, I’m 58 years old now and still love it. I had to search online for since it’s not available in the stores anymore.

It’s more expensive, but totally worth it. It’s a great way to start your day. It’s just plain good!! Good for you, tastes great and fills you up, and doesn’t need sugar added. I love to eat it especially on a cold morning.

No morning will ever start without coffee. That is a fact, or be very wary of this bald guy. From nice to mean, yet if that happens, Raisin Bran is also part of my breakfast routine. There’s a simple reason for this.

It’s relatively healthy, as raisins plus bran clears you out. To put it kindly it keeps your metabolism humming. Also I would proffer, that it’s one of the more delicious healthy cereals. No it’s not Fruit Loops which I cheat with while camping, but with some milk added, it’s a good flavor.

Also I like the semi crunchy texture. The only negative is brush your teeth a lot after eating this. Yes it sticks. Yet looking at the health and flavor advantages, this is a minor inconvenience. Available everywhere, be sure to look for couple and sales.

I have always loved bran cereals and they are not lying when they advertise the 2 scoops of raisins – there’s always a raisin or two in every bite. I like that it’s high in fiber and low in calories, although it’s high in carbs but I will remain loyal to it.

My husband loves Kelloggs Special K Red Berries cereal. It has alot of nice crunchy flakes and dried red berries that add a tart sweetness to each bite. He prefers it in a bowl with some vanilla almond milk so that’s how he has his cereal every morning.

I usually buy 2 boxes when we’re out shopping because it doesn’t last too long in our home. Good old Special k has outdone themselves again with this one. The red berries are nice and it’s convenient esp because having fruit on hand isn’t always possible.

I love coco wheats. They can be made on the stove top or microwave. I prefer the stove top. All you need is water and they take about 5 to 10 minutes to prepare. They are also fortified with iron and folate.

Calcium is the first ingredient too. They make a healthy breakfast and there is only 110 calories This box was only $3 for a 28 oz box. I found it at Walmart. I would recommend them.

My extremely picky six-year-old loves this stuff! I used to eat it as a kid and found it again recently. I was so excited to share this with my son! He loved it. He asked for it every day. I kept making it for him and purchasing more after each box we would finish.

Suddenly, I couldn’t find it at Walmart anymore! I searched with the Walmart app. I found it should have been where I had found it every time before. I asked different sales associates and discovered that even though Walmart carried the product they didn’t carry it in my store.

I’m stoked to have ordered it and can’t wait to start eating it again!.

While I have yet to actually eat this particular box of Raisin Bran, I have eaten others in the past. I grew up preferring another brand because the integrity of the Kellogg’s Raisin Bran became soggy and turned to mush with little hard raisins scattered throughout.

As an adult with a Sam’s membership, and a more mature palate, I tried Kellogg’s Raisin Bran a few years ago and found them to be much different than I remembered. As I pour my milk, splattering it everywhere because of the huge flakes, I remember fondly how my mother used to recommend pouring slowly.

As I scoop and try them, I remember fondly how I used to load them with at least two scoops of sugar to match the two scoops of raisins. Now I sprinkle on a little stevia and I’m happy. As I encounter the small raisins, I realize they have now figured out how to help them maintain their softness once they meet the cold milk.

And then there are the flakes. Few of them maintain integrity once I have reached the bottom of the bowl, but plenty do maintain it to begin with. I can say without embarrassment that I do not mind the mushy mass they turn into now in my adulthood.

I do have teeth to chew them with, but I’d be just as happy without, I do believe. And the box these come in at Sam’s is pretty nice as well. Corrugated cardboard. Nice and stiff, sturdy enough for the job at hand, but not as thick as plywood.

Raison Bran could be an excellent five-star product, but it is ruined by coating the raisons with sugar. Not only does it make it unhealthy, it actually ruins the taste. Raisons are naturally sweet so this cereal is unappetizing due to the intense sweetness created by adding sugar to the raisons.

I have picked them out of the cereal also (just as the other reviewer stated) so I could enjoy eating the cereal. I absolutely agree with Daniel who posted the following. “Great if STOPPED coating “nature’s candy” in sugar” This really would be a great “simple inside” cereal, if Kellogg’s joined us in the 21st century, and stopped dusting “nature’s candy” (raisins) in sugar, as the cereal is sweet enough without the added sugar.

This shouldn’t have a bearing on other cereals as the people who buy Raisin Bran are mostly health conscious, like me, and are not going to buy the sugary varieties. How do I know that it has just the right sweetness without the added sugar? I take the time to remove all the raisins, thoroughly rinsing (massaging) them in warm filtered water to remove the sugar, and then spread them out on some kitchen towel (placed in a large baking tray), moving them around to soak up the excess water, and then allow them to dry for around a couple hours.

I then keep the raisins in an airtight container, which has the added advantage that I can add just the right amount for a single serving (I don’t like the taste if there are too many raisins). I also weigh out 1.

4 oz of the bran flakes for the perfect portion size, regardless of how big the flakes are.

We have been Kellogg’s raisin bran fans for many years. All of a sudden, as of April and May 2022, something has drastically changed. Those classic flakes we all know have changed. They used to have a darker sort of glazed appearance to them, which tasted great and were easy to eat and swallow.

Now they have a drier and lighter tan appearance and are much harder to swallow. We have even felt like we were going to choke at times. I wish iconic brands like this would leave the formula that is so loved and well known alone.

We all know what happened when Coke tried to change it’s classic formula back in the 80s – disaster.

One of my favorite cereals. It’s literally nothing fancy, but it’s soo good! When my little ones were starting to eat solid food, I introduced this cereal to them. After that, we had little baggies of this cereal in all the diaper bags.

😂 The kids loved them as a snack, really good finger foods. The OG without the Cinnamon is good too, but just adding the cinnamon to it, made me not have to had sugar like with the OG. I also love cream of wheat and I think this cereal tastes alot like that but not creamy, instead crunch.

However if you let it sit in milk long enough and it gets soggy it almost tastes just like cold cream of wheat 😂.

This cereal is so yummy. I literally can eat it dry or with milk. My 1 year old son enjoys the crunchiness and how easy they are to hold in his small hands. The only downfall about this cereal is that it gets soggy entirely too fast.

I normally fill my bowls pretty high with cereal but this specific brand forces you to pour small amounts at a time. Other than that it’s a yummy taste and perfect for any time of the day.

This is one of my favorite cereals. It in my opinion is well balanced between sweet but not too sweet so it tastes somewhat healthy. My kids love this cereal. It doesn’t make the best on the go snack because it has a lot of tiny crumbs but that doesn’t usually stop us.

I do like crunchy nut as I like the combination of the cereal with the nuts and the texture. I was excited to try these new crunchy nut clusters with chocolate. The box isn’t huge, not a family size box but big enough to last a week or so.

The first thing that I noticed is that it’s still a cereal but with lots of big clusters of the mixture so very uneven in consistency. Lots of chocolate strands, similar pieces to what I would put on the kids ice cream in the summer.

I have been eating cornflakes from my childhood days and I just enjoying eating it. It goes so well with warm or cold milk with a sprinkle of sugar and some nuts and raisin. It’s sometimes my quick fix for small hunger.

Apart from the usual stuff I also use cornflakes to give a crunchy coating to my chicken and my kids love them. I also bake few cookies with cornflakes and it turns out yum. Its not just that I use it to make few Indian savouries which could be stored for a while and its a delicacy to be eaten.
