20 Best Ceylon Cinnamon Powder (2022 Updated)

Just started using this today. I am drinking a coconut milk, ceylon cinnamon, and raw honey beverage right now. Ceylon cinnamon is very low in toxicity. I researched it, and it is an antioxidant, and may be helpful for memory, and other benefits.

I’m looking forward to seeing the long-term health benefits. I have never tried ceylon before and only used cassia in small amounts. Ceylon can be used in larger amounts for health benefits and may help prevent Alzheimer’s.

I’m very happy that it’s organic and the amount will definitely last throughout the year ! I bought it because it was a great price, and I had been interested in trying it for awhile. Thanks for carrying it!!.

Cinnamon is a staple in our kitchen, so I buy 1lb. bags. I had heard ceylon cinnamon was a superior type and had bought the Frontier brand in the past, which is good. This Starwest brand tasted bland and course, as if it had sawdust mixed with it.

You can see it is much paler then ‘regular’ cinnomon. Maybe it was from a poor batch. We thew it out. I have tried other Starwest brand products and they have been great! Not this time.

Lots of good Cinnamon here. I use a lot of Cinnamon, so it is good for me to be able to get it in a large package. This one pound bag works great. I find this Organic Cinnamon from Starwest Botanicals as good as, if not better than, any other quality Cinnamon I get from the local stores.

Only the price on this Starwest Organic Cinnamon from Swanson Health Products is far better than others. That being said, I prefer the Vietnamese Cinnamon that I buy from Swanson, also in a one pound bag.

To me, it is the best Cinnamon I’ve ever enjoyed. It sells for more than double the price of this product, but I go for it anyway, because it is so good. I needed Cinnamon, and the Vietnamese Cinnamon was unavailable from Swanson, so I got this one.

I have to say that I am satisfied. This is a good product. As I mentioned above, it’s at least as good as the best available locally around here, and better than all the rest. The best Cinnamon available in stores around here costs quite a bit more than this Starwest Organic Cinnamon runs from Swanson, and I don’t believe any of the local stuff is even organic.

Heck, it may not even be pure Cinnamon, I don’t know. So here’s another plus for this one. If you don’t want to pay more than double the price of this product, even from Swanson, then go with this one.

You will like it, and you will like the price. I just got a notice from Swanson that they have the Vietnamese Cinnamon back in stock. So it is already in my next Swanson order that I am putting together.

Very decent price for organic Ceylon cinnamon. Arrived ahead of scheduled delivery date and was very carefully packed for the trip. Kiva has a website, which I visited and may purchase other organic products from them.

Aroma is heavenly and price is easy on the purse. Highly recommend.

I just realized that there is a warning label on the bags, I did not realize this when I ordered them. Not very happy about it, I will not be using it.

I’ve just used this powder for the first time and it is delicious and just what I wanted. It’s very finely ground and comes in an easy to use bottle dispenser. And it’s organic! Can’t wait to bake something cinnamon to use this again.

This cinnamon does the trick. It isn’t anything too strong, but it works well with recipes. I like having it in the kitchen just in case. It’s affordable and I enjoy this brand as well. However, if you’re looking for something high end, this isn’t it.

I use this in my water to make it taste better , usually one stick of the other kind I use and I’ve got yummy water for at least 3 or 4 refills. But one stick of this did nothing , and two made it taste gross.

Spend a little more for better quality and flavorful cinnamon Do not recommend!!.

I really like the Organic Ceylon Cinnamon Powder I purchased. As always, I am never disappointed in any products I order from Piping Rock. Their products are always high quality. I have been ordering spices and other items from them for many years.

I read that Ceylon is by far the best cinnamon for flavor and have found it to be true buying the organic Ceylon Cinnamon Powder from Piping Rock. I use it to make a simple fruit salad that everyone loves.

I dice whole organic apples with the skin on, add raisins or dried cranberries, walnuts, Ceylon Cinnamon and honey and sometimes I add some tangerine or orange and mix it up! Enjoy!.

After learning that Casia cinnamon could be harmful to my health, I stopped using it. I looked online for a place to purchase ceylon cinnamon and Piping Rock had the lowest price. I ordered it and it arrived very soon afterward.

It comes in a large 1lb resealable bag. I poured some into a shaker and have been using it every morning in my coffee. The taste is very good.

Ceylon Cinnamon is superior to Cassia that is normally called ‘cinnamon’ by an astonishing number of corporations. Powdered Cassia (labeled cinnamon at St@rbuck$) leaves a snot-like, viscous mess at the bottom of your coffee cup.

UGH! Makes me nauseous. However, Ceylon real cinnamon doesn’t do that. It is at worst, slightly gritty, but NEVER snotty. Trust me. You want real cinnamon in your morning drink! It has medicinal qualities to, such as lowering blood sugar levels.

The Fresh Market in Indianapolis hasn’t had Ceylon cinnamon available in the last couple of years. In my search for true Ceylon cinnamon, I discovered Druera and after reading the reviews gave them a try.

When it first arrived and I opened the jar I was disappointed. Even practically sticking my nose in the powder I couldn’t smell cinnamon. I wanted true Ceylon cinnamon for its health benefits and not cinnamon from other countries that can actually damage your organs, so I was willing to pay the extra cost.

I had some package bowls of cooked sticky rice. I sprinkled on a package of stevia, a generous amount of cinnamon and a tab of butter and microwave for 2 min per package instructions. Heaven! I also add cinnamon to hot tea, also good.

I learned that heating really brings out the cinnamon flavor. In short, I’m happy with my purchase.

After speaking with the sales rep, I chose this cinnamon to make some batch cinnamon water. It has a great flavor and much less non-soluable waste than the Korintje type. I just bring water to a boil in a pot, shut off and mix the ground cinnamon in and let sit for 30 minutes.

After pouring the results through a strainer lined with cheesecloth, I have a perfect base for my health tea recipe!.

I have always loved cinnamon and just bought the stuff they sell at the supermarket, until one day I smelled some Viet Nam cinnamon at a local health food store. This opened up a whole new world to me and now I have tried many types of cinnamon along with other spices.

This product is true Ceylon cinnamon and I’ve been taking it for health reasons. I add it to oatmeal, coffee, yogurt, etc. as a supplement for heart health. I’m happy to say not only does it make food more delicious, but it’s working wonders.

I have not tried Ceylon cinnamon before but will never buy any other kind again. This is sweet and adds so much in a subtle way. The texture is nice too; almost like very fine shavings rather than finely powdered.

Your cinnamon powder is very potent with a fantastic smell. It surprised me because most cinnamon powders don’t smell at all. I loved it!

Hi power herb, I use it in my smoothies and also ingest a little raw cinnamon with water. This cinnamon warms my body and soul.

I use this cinnamon product every day as an additive to my morning coffee and whey protein cocktail, to which I add 2 tablespoons of avocado oil. I am hopeful that it helps reduce my blood sugar. The combination of ingredients seems to help lose weight (about 4 pounds in two weeks, without hunger).

My bloodglucose is high due to medications I must take and I am pre-diabetic. At this point, I am quite satisfied.

Excellent product at a good price and the real Ceylon Cinnamon “cinnamonum verum” which is extremely low in courmarin and, to take it to lower blood sugar, will do just that but not harm the body. Courmarin is a substance that is found in Viet Nam, Indonesia and Chinese fake cinnamon that you find in the spice rack at supermarkets.

While Ceylon cinnamon has trace amounts of it, the “other” cousin containsi up to 1200 times the amount of coumarin, which in a large amounts could cause damage to the liver. So, stay with the real thing – Ceylon Cinnamon.

Excellent quality. I use the cinnamon to lower my blood sugar. My A1C went from 5. 7 to 5. 3 in less than 6 months using the cinnamon and diet without the use of medication. I will not disclose how. Wouldnt recommend or even consider doing this without consulting a physician and regular testing.

Great for sprinkling on various foods.

this is cinnamon, so all i can tell you is that it looks, smells and tastes like cinnamon. i don’t know where it came from or what properties it has or doesn’t have compared to other cinnamon because i am not a cinnamon specialist.

what i can tell you is that is smells fresh and has a very pleasant cinnamon flavor. the consistency is just right for my liking, not to powdery and not to coarse as to be chunky so i can use it as a sprinkle on top, mix with liquids, or cook with.

it is packaged well as to lock in freshness and prevent leakage or contamination. the price is very good for the amount of what i deem to be high quality cinnamon, making it a great value to me and a product that i could recommend as well as repurchase.

I love Cha’s brand of cinnamon quills and are a great price. They are truly so flavourful. I use them in many of my recipes sweet and savoury. They arrived promptly and would purchase again.

Better quality than some others that I’ve had, and just the right size to add to a cup of tea. Cinnamon flavour is very mild, but pleasant.
