20 Best Chair For Kids (2022 Updated)

I received a Stokke Tripp Trapp high chair with newborn set through the Stellar Product Testing Panel, for use with my baby. I actually already had a Tripp Trapp from my daughter, who is now almost 4 years old.

So even as I received this one complementarily, I have paid in full for one previously. Which is to say, please trust I mean it when I say the Tripp Trapp is worth the price. While we already had a Tripp Trapp, this Stellar Panel is our first time with the newborn set, and it came at just the right moment.

My son is 4 months old and cleared for light solids. Feeding a young baby is generally a mess–they’re sitting on your lap, they’re squirming, oatmeal is dripping down their chin and onto the floor. So I’ve loved that the newborn set makes this process easier.

And an easier process with a baby is instantly a more joyous one, as you can focus on the fun part and not on the challenging part. The newborn seat is easy to pop on, is secure once it’s on, appears comfy for baby, and looks and feels nice–bringing him right to the table with the rest of the family.

From here, I absolutely *know* I will continue using the Tripp Trapp with him. I know this because we still use our first Tripp Trapp with our daughter, these multiple years later. It has served us well, from those early days with the baby seat and food tray (thank goodness it’s so easy to remove and clean that tray!), to the milestone-feeling days where you adjust the seat to reflect your growing child’s new height.

I love that, at almost 4 years old, she has a chair that’s a good size for her. A traditional high chair would be too small physically, and would infantilize her. A dining room chair would be too big; a dining room chair with a booster on it wouldn’t be sturdy and wouldn’t fully feel like hers.

So the Tripp Trapp is really purpose-built to grow with your kid, and it shows.

This is our fourth Tripp Trapp for our fourth kid, so needless to say we love them! With our older children, we didn’t start them in the Tripp Trapp until just after a year old (we switched from a different high chair), so this is our first experience with the newborn set and it’s been a great addition.

I love that the newborn set has allowed our new baby to sit up at table height with the family; she loves watching her older siblings and being a part of the action vs in a bouncer or other chair on floor level.

Being up at the table and part of mealtime is great for her development, but also gives us as parents time to eat since she’s much more engaged and content than she otherwise would be. I frequently bring it into the kitchen with me while cooking or doing dishes, and the height of it is much easier to navigate around than something low to the ground that would be easier to trip over.

The angle adjustment on the seat has been great as she grows and is now able to support her head more than she was as a newborn. The only downside is that it’s a little bulky to move around just due to the nature of the chair, but it hasn’t ever stopped us from using it.

Once she starts solids in a few weeks we’ll transition to the high chair, but will probably also use the newborn set at times as well since it’s so easy to take on and off the high chair portion. I was a little skeptical of this given the price, but I am absolutely sold on it and it’s one of the few things that I wish I had had with my older kids.

I’ve already been recommending the Tripp Trapp itself to everyone I know having kids, but I’ll definitely now be recommending the Newborn Set as well. We received this item as part of the Stellar Review Panel in exchange for an honest review.

WONDER WOMAN CHAIR, GRANDPA SLAMS A HOMERUN, GIRL LOVES IT! She loved it so much I couldn’t get her out of it lol :). I was concerned this chair was a pretty high price for what it was, but the quality and my grandbaby girl who just turned 4 says it’s worth every dime.

 I gave this chair to my grandbaby girl for her birthday yesterday and she just absolutely went nuts over it. She gets to sit in her very own chair with all the adults as we watch TV and just hang out.

She’s been a Mickey Mouse fan since she’s been old enough to show any interest but now she’s found another super hero. I told her she was my Wonder Woman and I’ll always love her. Seriously home run for Grandpa .

Quality and overall take on this chair is great, aside from kids just loving it. When it comes in it’s in two pieces, and you just slide the back rest into the base and you’re done. I wanted to make sure that I let everyone know that I have put together Adult chairs and the rails that slide the back into the base are the same size and for that size of chair it should literally last a very, very long time.

The chair is built really well and in my opinion will last a really long time, our last one we still have and it’s been 3 years now, and is and has been used a ton. So no worries on this one, you should be solid for a long lasting chair and the quality of it explains the cost.

I would totally recommend this chair and am glad to have received it. It will last a very long time in my opinion, so purchase with confidence on this one. .

Great quality and perfect size for my toddler (3. 5yr) to chill in or my 1year old to climb in and out of, all day! Its sturdy and and has a higher density cushion, yet still super comfy for my kiddos, so I don’t imagine it will sink or look droopy over time.

Even I (mama) has given a test run, and its a thumbs up. Its nice and lightweight so I’ve been carrying up and down stairs because my boys won’t part with it throughout the day. The material is a wipe down fabric so it should withstand my 2 boys, for years to come, all spills and goldfish crumbs are easy to wipe right up.

SpongeBob for the win with my boys, the pop of color is perfect in any kid zone. It does require a tiny bit assembly, has 2 bolts on the chair back and a velcro strip covers that part up, so it’s not visible or dangerous.

I was able to put together myself in a few minutes, without having to ask my husband for help. :).

Today’s review is on the Wonder Woman youth high back chair. This chair is Super Sweet! Assembly is extremely easy, only took about 10 seconds to snap the back support onto the base. I did take the time to explain to my little one’s that the open space between the back support and base is not a compartment (do not put your hands in there).

My little girl just turned 2 yrs. and she absolutely loves her chair! I would definitely consider this a smart purchase, it’s very sturdy, the upholstery materials are good quality, has ample padding for comfort and support, she has plenty of room as she grows and not to mention that it looks really cool and fun.

I mean, come on, Wonder Women, Strong, Bold and Beautiful! What little girl would not want to grow up and be like that? Prefect! Just to compare, I also want to mention that occasionally my 6 yr old son likes to sit on the chair and even he has enough room for comfort.

So, if you’re like me, more practical and tired of toys, then this is an excellent idea as a gift for Christmas or Birthdays! Yes, I definitely recommend. I love this chair, my little girl really enjoys sitting in it with her stuffed animals and blanket as she watches cartoons and I already have plans to purchase one for my son.

This is a must have for parents with kids who play sports or for traveling and outdoor activities. It’s great because it can accommodate a small child who still needs a harness system as well as an older child who doesn’t.

The 5 point harness system in the chairs is removable if you don’t need them but a great feature for those with small children. There are canopies attached to the top for sun and wind protection but can also be removed.

The seats alone are the perfect size for any child. I like the built in cup holders and storage bags to keep snacks and drinks when one of my children have soccer and football games and this is so handy for when the new baby comes.

The legs have a flared look but also have safety locks to keep them from toppling over. The teal color is nice and gender neutral for both my son and my daughter. They are easily foldable and comes with a handy travel bag with a carrying strap for easy transport.

It is also easy to clean with just soap and water and a good wipe down and I love that the materials used are fade resistant, stain resistant, and also resists mold. An absolute must have!.

I recently received this Go With Me Grand Deluxe Portable Chair for Kids in grey. My experience with this portable chair was that it was very easy to set up. I like the safety feature of locking the chair legs in place.

When my kiddos sat in the chair, I noticed that the fabric of the chair’s arms pulled down. I would have preferred if the fabric wasn’t attached to avoid the sag. I like that the canopy is removable, however, it doesn’t appear long enough as the sun was in their face.

I would prefer if the canopy was long enough to cover over the removable tray. I would prefer if the canopy height was adjustable as they grow, especially since it’s meant for up to 10 years olds and/or 105 lbs.

I like that there is a removable tray and it seems sturdy. I like that there is a designated cup holder. I like that this chair can be used indoors or outdoors. However, for indoor use, the feet of the chair slides on the floor (hardwood/laminate/smooth flooring).

I would prefer if the feet had grip of some sort to avoid sliding. I like that there is a side storage bag to hold onto their stuff. I really like that when not in use, everything easily folds up and stores in the carrying case.

Wow! This children’s chair turned out to be much more than I originally expected. First off, let’s start by making it clear that this is not your ordinary big, robust, heavy high chair. Nor is it a simple, cheaply made fold up chair.

It’s actually an all-in-one multi use chair, made just for young kids. It is very lightweight and portable, ready to be taken on any family outing. Perfect for the sandy beach, a family picnic at the park, or for a day out fishing with the kids.

It can be used similar to a highchair, except it sits low. Babies can be strapped in using the buckles, or the buckles can be removed for toddlers on up. There is also a detachable table that can be used to eat on.

Easy on, easy off. Same thing goes for the sun shade, which happens to be pretty large and provides a lot of coverage. Perfect for sunny days out. The legs of the chair are extremely sturdy and the fabric is made of quality and durable material.

Folds very easily into a very compact, easy to carry case that can be carried over the shoulder using the sling. Weighs just a few pounds, even the kids can carry it with no issues. This has become the kids new favorite chair.

Got the green one for the boy, and already the girl is asking for the pink one. We’re very satisfied and will be looking into more products made by Baby Delight.

These chairs are everything! I recently bought them In white. They are so cute and so easy to put together. They also are super sturdy which is nice for a crazy toddler. For the price the quality is superb.

I highly recommend to spruce up your kids playroom or table set up!.

If I could upload a pic, I would! Its beautifully made and very sturdy. It took my husband less than 15mins to put together. My daughter loves it and plays with it every single day! The teal color is absolutely gorgeous.

The only thing I would say is for the younger ones you may need to place the chairs on carpet as they do slip when theyre trying to sit down.

Bought 4 of the Chiavari Chairs to add to our dining chairs when we add the table leaves to our dining table. The chairs blended in nicely with our dining chairs and are such a nice quality. We bought the Mahogany Resin style.

The free cushion that accompanied each chair is very nice and comfortable (attaches with Velcro easily). Each chair unexpectedly came with a fabric cover which is great for storage. And. the chairs stack with the covers on which is great! The chairs also arrived in record time and no damage was found.

These little chairs are so cute! They are sturdy. They came in a big box with a black fitted cloth covers. I ordered 5. There were 2, 2 and 1 in 3 boxes with the cushions in each box. The seat covers made of vinyl look very well made.

They were ordered the 4th of March and delivered on the 21st. FedEx lost them after a vacation hold. The price is really good as I could not find dining chairs even on Amazon that were not less than $100.

I was nervous before my purchase. I did tons of research before buying knowing that I was going to be ordering several sets. I ended up LOVING the quality and color. They are essentially all one piece, so the boxes they come in are large, but I love that about them because they don’t come unscrewed or need nearly as much maintenance as the traditional wood version.

They stack nicely for storage, and have held up well after a year of use several times outside. I recommend storing them between uses so that the sun doesn’t fade the color from them being left outside permanently, but the quality is great so they take the outside elements really well even after many, many uses.

I bought one of these a few years ago to use while my grand daughter and her three children were living with me. The chairs are so cute! Although chairs were smaller than smaller than I expected, this set plus an extra chair I bought at a thrift store was fantastic.

Sturdy and nice looking. I passed it on to them when they moved to their own place a year or so later. I would buy this again!.

Love it! Very Sturdy! Table is big! I purchased this for outside I wanted a big table area for snacks and outdoor activities like painting and play doh. The instructions aren’t great, they’re just pictures and it does take a few minutes to figure out what goes where with the chairs but, you’ll get it.

The chairs snap together great I did need a strong man to snap the backs on. Also, although you can put the 8 screws into the tabletop with a screwdriver I strongly recommend a drill or screw gun to put the screws into the tabletop as you will be screwing them into thick plastic that doesn’t have predrilled holes.

Not pre drilling the holes makes the table extra sturdy so I like this a lot but, use a drill or screw gun if you have one. That being said it’s a great set and I’m pretty sure it’s going to last a long time!.

The instruction’s are pretty useless. Hopefully you can make out the black and white picture enough to see how it goes together. The ” three tray adjustable” is really two but they put 3 notches. The seat is placed at an awkward angle so if you strap your child in the seat they have to fight against the straps to lean forward enough to reach the tray.

Even if you loosen and adjust them. The chair again in table form with straps makes it hard for the child to reach the table. The chair padding has deep ridges where it was sewn together – so food easily gets trapped in it and its not the easiest to clean out.

The rest of the chair wipes down fine as it is mostly plastic. I do like how easily you can switch from highchair to table.

Two stars go to the look of this chair and the ease of assembly. Otherwise, I find this chair mostly frustrating and far too expensive for the quality. It’s incredibly light weight which seems nice at first until my son pushed against the table and the chair moved almost a foot from the table (very scary, actually).

Since then I’ve been really nervous to leave him alone, even for a second, while he’s in the chair. Second, the height of the chair is just so that it tucks nicely under our table with a 1/4” gap. Which seemed nice until my son’s fingers got jammed in that gap.

Another awful experience. The straps are impossible to clean and such a color that shows every stain. Lastly, putting my baby into the high chair is nearly impossible without the help of another adult.

It’s so difficult to get his feet together and they have to slide down and just the right angle. It just doesn’t work. Again, I love the look of this chair but functionally just isn’t there.

We liked this chair so much, that we ordered it directly from the manufacturer which only shipped it within the EU. We than imported it from Germany since it was not sold in the U. S. in July 2018. Our child started using it around 6 months and loved it from the beginning.

The foot rest provides support so that the child can sit more comfortably. We really did not need the harness as the Nomi Mini (the restraint plastic bar) is fitting snug around the child (no worries, our child was in the 95%+ for height the entire time until 2 yr and it was not too tight).

The tray comes off and can be cleaned easily. The chair integrates better than other highchairs in the dining area because it is not having such a large footprint as most of the other highchairs. We are now using it without the tray and without the Nomi Mini and our child (a little over 2 yr) can easily step onto the chair to sit with us at the table.

Keeping it clean has never been an issue for us. Our child just got the tray and sometimes the seat cover dirty, which both can be removed in a couples seconds.

I love the fact that my daughter is able to sit at the table with us and enjoy her meals comfortably without struggling to see what’s in her bowl. I was worried she would fall, but it’s very sturdy and hasn’t had any accidents.

These chairs was easy to put together. Not only are they aesthetically pleasing, but they’re also nicely made and sturdy. For a 2-year old, this was a perfect height. He can’t reach the floor while seating but it’s also not hard for him to get on it.

Also it doesn’t feel flimsy. Looks great with the unfinished table we also got from Houzz. Would recommend.

These look great and add a little contemporary feel to my transitional decor without competing with the rest of the furniture. I have a small space that needed barstools without taking much away from the adjacent living room and making it look too overcrowded.

These virtually disappear and are more comfortable that you would imagine.

These chairs are great! Very easy to put together and seam very sturdy. I looked forever for outdoor bar height chairs and finally came across these. I did purchase the smoke. They were wrapped excellent for shipping Great price too.

Bought two little reader chairs for twin girls. We love this product! Great size, our twins are 18 months. Thought we wanted bean bags, floor pillows our poufs for corner space in basement/ playroom to be used as reading book.

Turns out these chairs are perfect for this space. Also versatile, we’ll use them for watching TV or throughout other rooms if the house. No comment on cleanup, we have not attempted to wash the seat covers yet.

I bought this baby chair for reading area. At first I purchased from Wayfair, becasuse Walmart was out of stock but Wayfair was $25 more expernsive per chair. So when Walmart got more in stock, I returned Wayfair (hadn’t even opened the package) and ordered from Walmart and saved $50 since I bought two.

6 month old loved it and sat in it a whole hour. Chair is so stinking adorable, reminds me of the good ole days. Chair is good quality, beautiful, and easy to assemble legs (the one thing husband and I didn’t fight over the assembly, ahaa, we fought over assembling so many other hard to assemble things, but not this!).

I also bought one for baby sister coming and put the two together to form a little bed in case 6 month old started to lean or fall. I imagine as they grow this will be their tv watching chair too. I can’t wait to put both babies in it with the seats pushed up together to form a little bed so they can face each other reading.

All I can say is how adorable this is! We got this as a gift for our daughter for her first birthday. Fast shipping, easy to assemble. Sturdy! And it will be perfect for her for years to come! She will be able to grow into it!.

These chairs put out and enormous amount of static electricity. Sounds crazy, right? It’s for real. I’ve read up on this material and it seems to be a common occurrence. I contacted Polywood and have several emails back and forth.

They said they’ve never heard of it before and after giving them some more info like what type of ground they sit on and what the serial numbers are, they can’t back with this. I was able to get correspondence from our warranty specialist in the engineering department.

They stated that spraying the chair down with water or even wiping it down with a fabric sheet can help solve the static electricity issues you are experiencing with your furniture. So I guess I’ll be having a wet butt and/or going through a lot of Bounce sheets.

At least I’ll be comfortable and smelling fresh. I would not have bought these off I had known this was an issue. The static issue along with the issue of the cut ends of the material having the plastic burrs still hanging.

I would think for the price point that simple quality control issue would not have been overlooked. I can’t in good conscience give these chairs more than 2 stars. I want to because they’re comfortable and they look good but this static issue is going to be a pain in the butt.

I originally bought 2 chairs for the front porch. Putting them together took about 15 mins. Easy to follow instructions. The chairs are solid and comfortable. I liked them so much I bought 4 more for around the back yard fit.

I bought white chairs, they clean up easy with soap and water. They held up great in the summer sun. Even when in direct sun, the chairs stayed cool to the tough. I am interested how they will hold up in the winter.
