20 Best Chairs For Camping (2022 Updated)

So far so great. I do not believe that there is a perfect chair for every situation. Different activities require different chairs. So over the past year I’ve been on a chair buying frenzy, purchasing based on usage activity.

The target activity/activities this time was events, ie: – kids sports – tail gating – outdoor concerts – picnics – etc The requirements for this, in priority order, were: – PORTABILITY – WEIGHT – SHORT TERM COMFORT (max 1-2 hours) – TRANSPORTING – EASE OF USE – QUALITY/DURABILITY I ultimately went with cliq because it was superior in all the above categories.

– PORTABILITY I needed to be able to carry these to and from each event, sometimes far walks. Most chairs are easily carried, but add the wife and daughters chair and carrying 3 chairs is suddenly difficult! Not only do the Cliqs fold up to the size of an umbrella, but they have multiple sized chair bags available to make it even easier to carry more than 1.

Huge points there! – WEIGHT Similar to the above. Carrying 3 chairs can get heavy, the Cliqs are SUPER light. Like 3 of their chairs weigh less than my high back camping chair. – SHORT TERM COMFORT (max 1-2 hours) The events are typically 1-2 hours so they definitely need to be pretty comfortable.

Some chairs I tested hurt after 5mins, NOT Cliq, they are actually very comfy. The canvas cradles you when you sit. There are no tight spots or pressure points in the canvas when your sit in it. The flex in the design provides some great comfort compared to typical rigid style folding/collapsing chairs.

– TRANSPORTING These chairs would likely be living in the trunk of the suv or car. 3 chairs can take up a lot of space, so the size is also important. Like I mentioned early, these chairs fold up super small and have a bag so they are as about as compact as you can get.

Another HUGE win here. – EASE OF USE sometimes this is scarified when the chair size is important. One chair I returned to different company collapsed VERY small but it required that you basically put it together bar by bar like tent poles through holes and then attaching the canvas.

It was so not practical, it took 5 mins to set up each time. Cliq, has it figured out. This chair sets up in about 7 seconds. And it breaks down in 3 seconds. You can do it so fast it looks like I fluid motion! – QUALITY/DURABILITY I’m roughly 6′ and 210lbs and I am use my things hard.

The chair is definitely small in size but it is strong. Super quality, does not feel cheap or “tin-y”. It has no problem holding me in resting position or when I’m putting more stress on it when moving.

Cliq is a great buy for anyone looking for a extremely portable, comfortable, easy quality chair.

First, I want to acknowledge Cliq’s legit customer service team. Someone had left a smoldering fire unattended at my campsite and the wind carried an ember onto my chair, burning a whole straight through.

Despite the fact that this wasn’t covered under warranty, Cliq decided to send me a replacement canopy. Turns out they ran out, so I received a completely new chair. I was stoked. Use: I am a mountain bike coach and often help build trails.

This chair stays in my trunk, and is the easiest chair to open I’ve owned. There is no assembly, just open and close. After a couple of hours in the sun, I snap this chair out and rest for a moment. This chair goes with us to races where we camp and takes minimal space in my small car.

There are more comfortable chairs out there, but those chairs are nowhere near as portable and easy to use. Even then, this chair is a 4/5 on the comfort scale. I wouldn’t use it as a chair to use with a table as the seat position is slightly reclined; so it’s made to be a lounging chair, around a campsite, at a picnic on the grass.

It’s got some heft in terms of weight, but absolutely durable. I own two chairs, not including the third with the burnt canopy, and would choose this considering it’s size and ease of use.

Bought the two chair set with the free carry case, very responsive & quick order & delivery, well packaged, the chairs have very sturdy, high quality, sky blue & red nice colors, not cheap looking, looks very durable for the long haul, and even the 2 chair carry bag is high quality.

Price a bit high for my taste but in same price range as competitor products in the same quality & function, would not call 3. 65 lbs. each ultra-light but light enough to carry on hikes & such, extending each post was a little tricky at first but should be easier after a little use & more familiarity with the set up.

Overall, did a lot of research & the Cliq chairs are one of the most compact & light portable chairs to stash in the vehicle, even on a bike, take hiking, or to events. The posts are very solid and everything folds out & assembles fairly easy & quickly once you understand how to extend each post, plus you are not piecing it all together like the ultra-light competition.

Comfortable but low back although any higher & you will not have the compact convenience they are designed for. I think they are perfect for any purpose when you need a super compact & lightweight chair to take with you anywhere.

Bought the Expander chair after seeing a couple of videos. Delivery was prompt and chair arrived well packaged. Didn’t take long to figure out how to construct and deconstruct but the real test is getting your bum on the seat.

It’s very comfy, so much so that my partner got me to order one for her as soon as we got home! The Expander’s small footprint is a winner as we have limited storage in our campervan. So, if you’re looking for comfy camp chairs that are well built, are easy to use and fold up into a very small package and are well priced then I suggest you buy an Expander or two.

Sturdy, strong, comfortable and compact. What more could you want. Really happy with these chairs. They’ve freed up space for us in our 4wd and are more comfortable than our old umbrella style chairs.

Wide enough for taller and larger people. Height is a little higher too so its better at a table and easier to get out of for those of us with creaky joints 🙂 A WInner!.

During our last camping trip I had to fit four bulky chairs, leaving out some other things I wanted to take. The front runner expander chairs are the perfect low profile chairs for our set up. Super small and light weight.

I plan on using them today for the Veterans Day parade in our town. Get some.

It is a little hard to get in and out of, I am not as young as I used to be. but it is pretty comfy! I got mine in the Elder Goth Black color which is awesome looking. This chair is VERY sturdy! It really plants itself where you place it.

I don’t feel tippy at all sitting in it, and the material seems really durable so it should last a long time. I wish the chair didn’t unfold quite so taut, which would give a little more room for my poor posture.

(I have back problems) but they all kinda do that. The bag to carry it has a small handle on top to carry it like a grocery bag, or a shoulder sling. I have yet to see ANY folding chair come with a shoulder sling that didn’t want to eject itself from your shoulder after about a minute of carrying it, and this chair’s bag is no different.

Even though the day after I bought this I found a similar chair for 10 bucks cheaper, I am very happy with the purchase and plan to carry it along for all my folding chair needs!.

Great looking chairs that arrived faster than the ones on Amazon could. Glad Walmart can deliver faster and at a good price. The chairs were super easy to setup. And they are very nice looking, enough that people sitting behind us asked where we got them.

This chair would have been what I was looking for had it had a little bit higher back and been made of aluminum and not steel. I don’t think it will hold up after getting in the sand, and I purchased it for using at the beach.

So I returned it. I did like the fact that the side bars made it easy to get up and out of.

I tried every lightweight collapsible camping chair that I could find, and none of them — literally not a one — was comfortable enough to make them viable to sit in for more than 10 minutes. until I found the Nemo Moonlite.

Finally, a collapsible chair that I can sit in for hours and throw into my bike pannier bag easily, or take on a plane when flying to a camping destination. The ability to change the angle of the back is the winning aspect to me.

I have some back problems and need a chair back that is as straight as possible. With the Moonlite in its straightest position (which is still somewhat angled), my back is fine. And, when I want to, I can angle back a bit using the adjustable straps.

The straps really do change the angle of the back quite a bit — more so than I expected. I’m so glad to finally have found a chair like this that I can sit in for hours reading, watching the stars or talking with friends.

I’m sitting in it as I write this review. As others have said, the build quality is great. It’s a little too heavy (to me) to take backpacking, but this is great for car camping, outdoor concerts, etc.

It can be a bit tricky to break down because the corner rubber pieces don’t easily pop off the metal frame, but I’m hoping they’ll loosen up over time. Thanks, Nemo, for a great product!.

I’d like to echo comments from another reviewer (stinkyglove). Not only is the geometry for this chair apparent upon setting it up on a hardwood floor(perfectly flat) and trying to get comfortable. Try doing that in a real world senerio out at a campsite on less then perfect ground! I’m not here to trash the chair or Nemo name, I actually like everything else about the chair.

Fabric is comfortable and breathable. The poles and feet are sturdy. It’s just not comfortable! It wants to tip forward. You have to hold yourself up with your legs. Your butt barely sits in the seat.

You’re far too forward and feel like you always need to scooch back. Add in less than perfect ground and a little angle or something and forget-about-it!! I wanted to give it two stars because I’m liking the other parts of the chair, but the comfortability factor really just ruins it and puts it down to a one or zero star.

I’ve had similar ultra portable chairs in the past, and every single one has had plastic hubs that eventually break, and none of them has had the comfort and height of this one. I’m 180 pounds and this chair feels very solid whether I sit upright or lean all the way back.

I can’t speak to durability, but by design it seems way stronger than other options I’ve tried. This chair lets you adjust your weight and recline without accidentally unbalancing or stressing the chair joints as happens with plastic hubs.

The reinforced ball sockets for the mesh attachment are much easier to use than many chairs where you have to struggle to stretch the weak receiver pockets over the frame ends. The recline tension adjustment serves two purposes- you don’t have to assemble under so much tension, and of course you can recline at several angles.

The weight is about as light as I can imagine before the chair would become shorter, weaker, less comfortable, or less durable, all of which I’ve seen in similar chairs. While an ultra portable chair is not always what you want it can always be with you.

Note, if you are a larger person, the width of the seat is only moderate and you will probabaly not be comfortable in this or many ultra portable chairs, although there are wider chairs available in this class.

My Wife and I purchased a new camper last year and wanted a new set of chairs to use. I saw these on your website and was reluctant to get them. However they had good user ratings and she talked me into it.

What a great buy. These chairs are the most comfortable fold up chairs I’ve ever used. They’re oversized and overstuffed and are so nice to sit in. I was even able to get a quick nap. Never been able to sleep in this type of chair.

I highly recommend them. You won’t be disappointed.

My girlfriend and I bought a pair of these a few weeks ago. Now that we’ve had the chance to use them on a few separate occasions, I can safely say these are the best out chairs we have ever had! They fold up a little bulky, but are still incredibly light weight to carry over your shoulder with ease.

As a fat man, it is a perfect, comfortable, and durable chair for me. And for my gf who is petite (and still dating me for some reason), its larger size gives her the option to curl up her entire body in the chair and along with the padded material, keeps her insulated pretty well with the addition of a small throw blanket.

This has literally helped cut the number of daily complaints about being freezing in half. Which has done wonders for my sanity and that of the sanity of others in proximity :).

Bought the Guide Gear folding 500 capacity chair. You did not have colors I preferred at the time. But I purchased the brown color. Absolutely love the chairs and girlfriend very happy also. One of the best purchases I made with your company.

It’s to big! Not in capacity or weight, those are ok. The distance from the front of the seat (where your knees hit) the the front of the backrest, is way to long. Plus it’s angled backwards (for comfort) but no way a normal sized ( under 7 ft tall) person can sit in it and lean back.

The seat height and width are great! But you can’t use the backrest. Im 6 1 and it’s like I’m a 6 year old kid in a adult chair.

I got this chair for my husband. He is just below 300 lbs. I was afraid it may be not good quality or would not fit him. It is perfect! And comfortable as well, nice back support. I am thinking of getting another one for myself.

The cup holder is not very deep. A water bottle or large soda is not stable. The pockets on the left are too narrow. Not worth the price. The chair is stable and easy to get out of.

Pros: — I’m 5’8 and am comfortable with my legs stretched out, and my head rests on the back perfectly. — Most comfortable camp chair I’ve ever used. — Super lightweight. — Everyone wants to sit in this chair.

Cons: — Everyone wants to sit in my chair. — It’s tricky to get out of it! Pro tip: push down on the armrests — don’t try to get out any other way. — Somewhat difficult to set up and take down. Neither pro nor con: I tried the ENO Lounger DL and found it much harder to set up and take down, and it didn’t support my head comfortably.

If you can try this chair in person, do it, from setup to takedown.

I didn’t buy mine from REI, but I tried every chair in the store I visited, and these were far and away the best. I’ve had mine more than a year now. I bought them to take to a week-long festival (AirVenture) but I even find myself using them around my apartment.

They’re fabulously comfortable — one of the only chairs you’ll try in which its possible to be fully relaxed and comfortable in a variety of positions. You can even lean your head on the back if you so desire.

Very sturdy construction has so far stood up to significant use with no damage. Finally the pocket on the right side is great at holding just about anything, though a bottle of beer fits especially securely and accessibly — far more so than in any mesh-bottom cupholder I’ve ever used.

They’re easier to set up than pack up, but still not difficult to pack once you get the hang of rolling the mesh around the folded legs. Not trivial to get out of but not that hard either. You can lean forward if need be.

This is a sturdy, well constructed chair and with the mesh throughout the whole chair it breathes while at the beach where I use it the most. It is extremely light and easy to move around from spot to spot.

The case it comes with is also built of sturdy quality and has a shoulder strap. The chair is pretty darn easy to get into and out of this stuff sack. This is a ground chair for sure as it sits pretty low to the ground so getting out of it takes some work if you are not young and flexible.

On one side of the chair is a stretch pocket which is deep and wide. I don’t understand why they did not put one on the other side though. I would have preferred to have one on each side. I find it easy to put together and like past reviewers it takes a little strength to put the one post into the frame but it does go.

I do notice that after a day at the beach it can difficult to pull the poles up to collapse the chair at there is sand in them. All in all you get what you pay for this is a quality product which is breathable, comfortable and light.

The seat fabric disintegrated after very light use for a few months, used less than 6 times by a not-large adult. I spent hours sewing and patching it back together only to have it tear again right next to one line of stitching.

It’s a shame because this was the MOST comfortable chair for my back that I could find. A sturdy fabric should have been used. Clearly it’s a common issue. What is Coleman doing to make this great chair design better? It was the best chair I found for my bad back and I would buy it again for the design IF the fabric was sturdy enough to be dependable!.

Except for the unraveling, fraying and eventual disintegration of the green trim, a great chair. Started looking worn after 6 months and not ‘guest worthy’ after a year. And if your patient, in 2 years the seat will rip while your sitting in it.

It’s a shame, I always supported Coleman as a brand, they always seemed better quality at a reasonable price. Oh well, will now have to look elsewhere. If interested I can post pics. Let me know.

The chair was delivered at my door in a large cardboard box (not fitted to the size and form of the chair). There was no instruction material that showed how to expand the chair and to fold it up. After some experimenting with the chair I was able to get it snapped into its form ready to sit in.

It took some effort which wasn’t expected. Then I went to work trying various ways to get it folded up, which took a while. I wondered if everyone who buys this chair was able to figure out how to put it into use.

Also, the description of the chair online claimed a weight of 3 pounds. It weighs close to 8 pounds.

The Arrowhead Outdoor Portable Folding Camping Quad Chair is a great all around chair to have. It comes in it’s own storage bag, which is great when you’re taking it anywhere. The chair itself feels very sturdy and well built.

It has a good amount of padding in the seat and back making it comfortable to sit in, even for extended periods of time. The seat area is nice and large making it perfect for everyone to enjoy. It states that it holds up to 330lbs, however, it held family over the specified weight limit easily and comfortably.

The chair has a cup holder on one arm. It held both cans and bottles without tipping over. The other arm has a 4 can cooler with a zipper closure. This is my favorite feature of the chair! It’s perfect to hold extra drinks, or even to keep snacks cool in the heat.

There is also a small mesh pocket on one side of the seat that perfectly holds my cell phone. The blue color is beautiful and has not shown any signs of fading from being out in the sun. All-in-all this is a great chair to have.

Perfect for camping, fishing, the beach, taking the kids to their practice or games, or just for extra seating around the house or outside. I plan on getting a few more of these in other colors because we liked it so much.

Plus, it would make a great gift!.

So this chair has become the house favorite. It’s currently set up in the living room and my sons take turns using it. It’s a very large and comfortable chair. The chair is easy to open and easy to fold up, however I don’t find it too easy to take places as it’s a bit on the larger side.

The canvas of the chair itself is very durable and well made. Unfortunately within the first day we managed to partially rip off one of the pockets for your cellphone or whatever you chose to use it for.

I would definitely recommend this chair! I think if I was a taller person, i’m only 5’4”, the chair would be easier to tow along.

Exactly as advertised! Nice wide seat! Makes you feel safe and secure! Doesn’t feel sketchy like SOME chairs I’ve tried. Totally comfortable! My only “complaint”, I wish the cup holder was about 4 inches closer to the front.

I have to reach back a little to put my drink cup in and take it out. Sense the bottom is not attached, the whole thing comes up when you take your cup out. Hardly worth mentioning. It’s a great size, feels sturdy, relatively easy to set up and take down, and surprisingly comfy! I highly recommend it! I could sit in it and watch TV all night!.

I am beyond surprised and impressed. As a previous customer described herself “Chunky Mama” lol I too am this! This chair accommodates up to 225 lb which was another selling point! Let’s start with the bright red color love it.

I also love that its not extremely heavy (arthritic hands) When opening the chair it is wide and accommodates very comfortably for sitting. In the past when sitting in this style of chair the weight causes for the front strip underneath the knee to be tensioned and be painful unable to sit in it for long periods.

With this chair it does not happen. Also when opening it is extremely easy. I have absolutely no complaints and extremely happy with my purchase. I’m glad that I also bought two I’m often weary of purchasing more than one product at a time in case I need to return it.

I am so thrilled with this chair! Not only is it very sturdy, but it’s very comfortable as well. I’m very impressed by a couple of the extra details. The cooler has an included/attached bottle/flip-top opener! The double, side zippers on the top flap of the cooler are connected by a soft handled so that you only need to pull once to open or close it.

(Previously, I had a collapsible chair that was not even close to this quality, but it cost almost as much!) The only improvements might be to have a place on the chair to store its bag and/or have a carrying strap for the chair itself, so that the bag did not need to be brought along.

But those are not significant enough to subtract any stars from the review. While I bought this to take to outdoor concerts, I know I will be using this at home, because of the comfort and ease of setting up and folding down.

These are great huge sturdy camping chairs. They are very wide, almost the size of a living room oversized chair. They’re great for thicker folks who need support and the width of a sturdy camping chair.

They’re also heavy and weight 19 pounds so if you’re gonna be carrying them along ways you might want to get some Velcro straps and strap them then carry them in a wagon or small dolly. The red color is more like a wine but beautiful.

Were very happy with this purchase and for only $30 each! I noticed the price when up by $10 the week after I bought ours so very glad I got the best deal too. Get them if you need the width, these don’t cut into the back of your thighs either.

I bought this several months ago and it has been awesome. The chair is strong enough for heavier than average weight and very durable. Also it’s easy to open and then pack back up. There are two different sized drink holders, and an extremely handy cell phone holder in one of the arms.

The only thing about it I don’t like is the carry bag. The shoulder strap is not adjustable and way too short, making it very awkward to carry, especially if you are trying to hold/carry other things in you hand(s).

Because of the short strap it can only be carried over one shoulder vertically as opposed to diagonally across the torso for better balance. Even with a free hand(s) it’s hard to hold it so that to keep the strap from falling off the shoulder.

Otherwise, it’s the best folding lawn and beach chair I’ve ever owned. If it wasn’t for the bag I’d easily rate it a full 5 stars.

This chair seems sturdy and made of good materials but the proportions of the chair are odd and make it uncomfortable. I am 5’ 8” and the chair is so high my feet can barely touch the ground but the depth of the chair is short so the top half of my legs to my knees hang off the chair and don’t feel supported.

The chair is plenty wide as advertised but similar to other chairs I have tried that were not labeled as oversized. Also, the arms of the chair feel too low and are awkward. We own 3 other foldable chairs by other manufacturers and have not encountered any of these issues.

I would not recommend this chair unless the top half of your legs are unusually short and the bottom half of your legs unusually long with gazelle-like upper arms.

My boyfriend and I got these half off one day and we are so beyond pleased! We use them 3-4 times a week on our porch and they’ve been incredible while camping. The media pocket, cooler pocket, and deep drink pocket are great! Plus plenty of seat room.

I had an old fabric chair for many years. It was falling apart and I needed another one. It is very difficult to find a simple lightweight small chair. Glad REI had this and it was on sale. I wasn’t expecting it to be made of plastic…not necessarily a bad thing but worth noting.

It is very lightweight and blows over with light winds.

I bought this chair over a month ago and I am really happy with it. It is well made. I am a heavy guy but there will be no problems with this chair. The chair weighs a little more than other portable chairs but this is due to its durable construction.

I use this for fishing and I like that it has no arms and allows me to sit up straight.

Very comfortable chair. Bought this knowing that it would take up quite a bit of space once folded, so not a problem. This is compensated for with a very comfortable chair. Used while camping and was great for extended periods.

Dried quickly after an evening left in the rain. The ventilated back and seat was great during the day, but required an extra fleece/sleeping bag to wrap around to stay cozy in the evening.

Very Good for my back. – It’s not heavy at all, when travelling i can easily carry this in my back of my car, then unfold it to sit for work and relax wherever i like – It look solid and hight quality, hopefully with my gently use, this chair will last for a very long time.

This is hands-down one of my best purchases from Decathlon! I don’t have to spend a fortune on a bulky armchair or recliner. For $60, I am paying for comfort and portability, while saving space at the same time.

This is a beautiful chair, very light weight, folds easily. Nice enough to put indoors for extra seating. Easy to get in and out of. How does it fit or how and why will it fit? I have reached the point of asking how wide the seat is because some of us are now wider and most chairs are not.

The seat is 19” wide and the space between the arms is 19”. The space between the vertical metal poles that holds up the arms is 20”. This is wider than most folding lawn chairs and even wider than many chairs that state a 500 pound weight limit.

My friend who is a tiny 4’-10” 85 lbs. is very happy in this chair. Me, I’m 5’3” and a very chubby, hour glass shape. The design of the chair does not pinch and is stable and comfortable. The back position does not adjust forward enough use to sit at a table and use a laptop.

Lafuma also makes an XL version of this chair with a seat width of 21”. It would be nice to have to option of ordering the XL chair.

I love the lumbar support this chair gives. I have had one that I bought 18 years ago. It still works though every time I took it to a potluck, pre pandemic, someone was always sitting in it. The quality is outstanding.

I have back problems and this is the most supportive chair I’ve come across. It is very light to carry and folds almost flat. I looked for many years to get another one so was so elated when I saw REI was carrying them I bought two for myself and one for my friend.

Bought it a few weeks ago and am very impressed. Yes, they are expensive compared to others, but you really do get what you pay for. The build quality is excellent, they fold really well, they are light and, above all, really comfortable.

The padding also keeps you that little bit warmer when the evening chill appears.

Great camp chair. I would pay $100 for the same chair without a team logo. The reclining feature is nice for being a folding camp chair. Very sturdy for a 215lb guy

This chair is really well made with strong seams and solid material. Very sturdy and comfortable. You do sit down leaning back in a comfortable sort of way but it is not a good chair to pull up to a table to have dinner.

So if you want to sit comfortably and have a cold one, then this chair will suit you just fine. I would buy it again.

My daughter loved her new camp chair! It’s comfortable, well-made and sporty. It seems like the kind of chair that will last a while and was a good investment…especially at this price.

I hadn’t opened it since I bought it, and wanted to use it for an event. I didn’t want to waste time at the event, so I put it together at home. Ended up collapsing the back legs to get it into the trunk, and it was light enough to wrangle to a seating area at the event.

Took it apart before I left, and it was really easy to disassemble and PACK AWAY with ease. Delightful. 😎The chair isn’t too low, but without my dog it would be more difficult with bad knees.

Very nice quality. Comfortable. Delivered very quickly to California. Easily assembles. Customer Service people are helpful and knowledgeable. I got two of these chairs and the weight capacity will allow toddler to sit on chair with us.

Just received our 2 pack of camping chairs and absolutely love ! We were looking for light weight chairs to travel with to Hawaii and Georgia and these fit the bill. My husband is 240 pounds and 61 and he couldnt believe how comfortable these chairs are.

We had seen similar items but those sat too low to the ground and it made it difficult to rise from sitting position. The compact carrying case makes it convenient for travel and lightweight enough to add to our suitcase.

Buying sets for each of our kids. Cant go wrong !.

A comfortable chair is a must for those long hours waiting for the bite alarm to go off and when it does, you need to be able to launch out of your seat and make a mad rush for the rod! We’ve tried all the different styles of camping chairs out there, and this is the hands down winner.

We’re now up to 3 of them, because we were tired of playing musical chairs with the one we had. It packs flat into a rectangle and does not need to be stuffed into a bag. Deployment and putting up takes less than a minute.

It even has straps for you to carry it on your back. With the generous sized bag on the back of the seat, it becomes a backpack. The 4 positions aren’t that different, but are appreciated. Most of the time we are either fully upright or fully reclined.

It’s reclined enough to take a nice nap, which is a good way to pass time when the fish aren’t biting! Oh, and as a tip, since the armrest is flat and not too thick, you can clamp on a gooseneck cellphone holder to it.

This keeps your cellphone safe and out of the sand when you run for your fishing rod.

We bought two of these great chairs to attend outdoor concerts. We are 70 years old and were having difficulty getting out of our chairs after sitting for several hours. Our neighbors loaned us their Outdoor wilderness chairs and we loved the wide wooden armrests that allowed us to push down on to help us get out of these low chairs.

They are fabulous! We immediately ordered two for ourselves. We even ordered a third one for a friend who just had knee replacement surgery and needed a better chair to attend concerts. We also love the backpack straps to carry them to and from the car.

Chair ripped within a few times of use. Poor quality stitching and/or weak fabric. Called customer service and told full refunds were only given on products in original unused/unworn condition. So a product failure after only a few uses is not covered.

This is not standing by your product, products that are meant to be used in the active outdoor lifestyle they market. Literally sat in the chair three times, and I am a small build less than 150 lbs.

Now I am supposed to find a box to return it in and send it to see if they will determine whether or not I get a refund, no guarantees. What a pain.

This is the second Eddie Bauer low camp chair I’ve bought, since everyone loves sitting in the first one. I love the bold color scheme, and it’s angled just right for both lounging and working on a computer or reading.

The arm rests work as both arm rests and for pushing up put of the chair. It’s really easy to fold and get back into the carry bag. , and while not the lightest I’ve come across, I’ll take the extra weight any day for the overall robust feel, and it’s perfectly comfortable to carry over the shoulder along with a bag of other stuff.

Overall very pleased!.

Love these camp chairs! The quality is excellent, and we have been using them for years. Just purchased this one to replace one that flew off the top of our vehicle because it wasn’t tied down well enough.

These chairs work great for camping and for the beach. They are super easy to carry, and it’s easy to brush the sand off of them. Love the color and design of this one (celadon). Highly recommend!.

I bought a pair of these April 2021, because the size looked crazy comfortable for campfires and stargazing. And large enough for the dog to curl up in it! And the cup holder is a nice touch. At the end of their second summer of camping, they’ve bleached from the sun, the frame is rusting, and the edging around the fabric is fraying and rotting off.

This after a couple of summers being regularly used in usual east-coast Canada weather, and stored indoors off-season. The rust is causing the folding mechanism to catch, keeping it from sliding smoothly.

These are now backyard chairs, as they’re hard as heck to fold down and a little bit more of the fabric crumbles everytime it gets rolled up. Expected better quality for a chair meant to be used outdoors in the elements.

Overall, it’s a comfy chair for occasional car camping!.

I bought one of these chairs last year because I loved the look, and had to got back and grab one for my husband as well because he would constantly try to steal mine! We find them very comfortable, and love chilling in them with a drink at the end of a long day.

They are set on our deck. We try to protect them from the rain as much as possible, but even when they get soaked they air dry pretty quickly, which is amazing. However, as other have mentioned before: don’t take them to the beach! We had an issue closing only one of them, but what a nightmare it was.

Also they are huge, and heavy to carry around, so we probably won’t take them camping if we have a bit of a walk from the car to the campground. I am also VERY DISAPPOINTED that the color I loved so much has faded a lot over just one summer!!! It’s an outdoor chair for Pete’s sake.

It’s supposed to be used outside, in the sun. Whoever chose the fabric when designing that chair should know better :(.

Im a guy whos got some issues with lawn chairs, i dont quite fit in them, or i end up breaking it when i sit in it. So i was pleasently surprised at finding these oversized chairs. Got this chair because its rated for 400lbs.

Used it twice this summer and found it to be very comfortable and you can sleep in it. But the plastic hinges are already bending. Im not sure if its going to stay together and not break over its life span.

If im careful, i could make this chair last but seeing parts flexing and bending out of shape after using it once is a concern for me. I will update this review if i ever see more issues over the summer.

Originally I was looking to buy the popular Isabella Thor chairs but everywhere was sold out. And I’m so glad they were! These chairs are identical but HALF the cost. Good quality, sturdy chairs. Amazingly comfortable.

Fold away flat. I have bought the foot stools to go with them and they are just as good. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a quality lightweight chair. There is no need to spend a fortune when these are as good if not better.

Fantastic delivery, It arrived quicker than expected. Absolutely love this chair. It’s sturdy, yet light to lift, very comfortable, the moveable headrest is a great idea. I purchased the footrest too because I wanted to sit upright but with my feet up and it does exactly that.

Not cheap but worth every penny for me.

Nice chairs but there are a few things that could have made it a great chair. Firstly, the chair arrives in a plastic bag (inside the box). A cover / bag would have been a nice cheap addition as the gunmetal paint can get scraped in transport / storage.

Secondly, the chair moves back and forth with your seating position. However that does seem to make the only options upright or laid back. There doesnt seem to be any middle ground as you would have to balance yourself in that position.

Friends on our camping trip had bought two similar versions elsewhere at the same price as one of ours and theres had a locking leaver that held the chair in your desired position so this would have been a good option to have had.

Otherwise its a good camping chair. Well built and very comfortable. Its a bit wider than lower priced chairs so extra comfy and folds pretty flat for transporting.
