I bought this for my dad when he came out of hospital, he has mobility issues and they were worsened to the point he couldn’t stand up by himself. This chair was a great price and delivered on time, there have been some problems with it falling back as though the joints aren’t stable.

This is a concern but it moves fine so would recommend for the price.

My Mom’s mobility recently declined we needed a strong sturdy remote recliner fast. We needed to keep in mind her size price. Aosom was amazing. Their website site easy to navigate the best prices. Well, I wanted to be fair, and have used this chair for several months. I am quite dissatisfied with the chair, and will be returning it to Walmart just as soon as I figure out how to do it. I purchased the chair and a service policy online, and it took four or five tries just to get the order placed.

That should have been a warning, but I persisted and the big box with the chair parts arrived on my front doorstep a few days later. OK – opened the box, and everything looks fine. Read the instructions and all of the parts needed for assembly were there.

The chair parts didn’t fit together too well, but with some perseverance I was finally able to get all of the bolt holes and padded back, seat and sides together. The ottoman portion of the chair does not work like a traditional recliner, and has a black plastic handle on the lower right side of the chair that you lift forward and up to raise the lower section so you can rest your legs.

Weird, and not easy to actuate. Now – the recliner feature – FAIL. The chair doesn’t actually recline, but it will tilt back if you apply pressure to the chair back. And as soon as you lean forward, the chair springs forward with you.

Not a recliner – more of a spring back chair. There is a small plastic knob on the left side of the chair that is evidently there so you can “lock” the reclined chair in position. FAIL. That never worked, as the locking force of the knob is easily overwhelmed by the spring back nature of the chair.

Hoo-boy. this was getting tiresome. I really wanted a recliner, not a tilting chair (that does not tilt back more than 15 degrees or so. ) that is darn near useless. So I thought that maybe this chair could be used as an office chair.

FAIL. The height is not adjustable, and after a couple of weeks use the chair started squeaking as the metalwork supports are not well designed or made. A close inspection of the weldments indicates very low quality welds, and general low quality.

Yes – the chair was made in PRC (People’s Republic of China) but that is no excuse for the poor design and lack of execution in manufacturing. Can you tell that I’m not happy about this purchase? I spent about $300 for the chair and warranty and tax.

Not a good value if the total price was $150, or even $50. Lastly, the base of the chair is a round metal disk, which leaves a hula=hoop shaped crush mark on the carpet, so even the chair’s interaction with the floor is a.

FAIL. I hope this review will help other potential buyers avoid problems and false expectations. This chair might be OK for a basement area so kids can watch TV or play video games, and if you paid less than $75 for the chair.

For what it was advertised, and what I paid – this “Coaster Leatherette Swivel Rocker” is a FAIL. My next call will be to Walmart. com to arrange a return. Sigh.

I’ve only had for less than a week and that isn’t enough time to really acclimate myself to the product. It took an amazing amount of time to get it and it seem to work ok yet there are a few things that seem to be off putting.

At certain angles my neck is uncomfortable I use a neck pillow to help the discomfort but other than that it seems ok. I like the color it’s very soft and comfy, the arm rest seems a little too low when sitting upright, but they are padded ok.

I believe I will enjoy this chair very much once I am acclimated to having it. Thanks so much. I very much liked shipping free and home delivery and set up was awesome. We really love this chair. We purchased it to replace a worn out 10-year old massage recliner. We actually prefer this to our previous recliner. It has a much smaller footprint than our previous recliner, but is equally comfortable.

The footrest is separate from the chair. On our old recliner the footrest was a part of the chair and every time you wanted to get in or out of the chair you had to electrically raise or lower the footrest.

The chair seat is slightly lower to the ground which makes it much easier to sit in with your feet on the floor (and work on my laptop, for example). Once we learned how to simply push on the arms to adjust the chair back, that was easy to do.

We pretty much used our previous chair just for the massage function. This chair we also use when we just want to sit.

I love the chair is very comfortable and I like how it looks. The chair has vibrating massage on upper back, lumbar, thighs and legs through the footstool. It arrived very quickly and in perfect condition.

The only thing that I had trouble with was the vibrating massage. My recliner came with a couple of the wires detached and the vibration couldn’t be turned on with the remote. I took the wires out from the back of the chair and fixed.

It was not a big deal, I would buy the chair again even with that minor issue. Also, it doesn’t have heat but that’s not important to me so I don’t mind.

Quick delivery and delivery people brought it to where it was going to sit. Minimal assembly needed, though a second pay of hands is helpful. Soft faux leather. Super comfy chair that surrounds you. The back pad heats up well though is only situated in the lower back.

The controls are very simple to use and the added massage in the foot stool is an added bonus. There are only two things that mark it down for me personally- (though for what I paid I couldn’t ask for more and if I had more funds I would have upgraded) – One, vibration.

Beware if you have wooden floors or live above others. I have been told that it sounds like my washing machine is on a half hour spin cycle. Thank goodness I have great neighbours! Two, It would be nice to have more control buttons to individually select where you need the vibration.

Overall, a great product for a reasonable price. Really comfy and good massage action. If your budget is small (I had 200) then you can’t go wrong with this chair. Really soothing, strong massage, super comfy.

The chair is comfortable and looks good out of the box, but within 4 weeks the black pleather started to peel away from the grey backing. It’s still comfortable, but it looks awful. I might have expected this from a chair costing half as much, but for the money this is a bit ridiculous.

I will not be using this business again. I feel cheated.

Searched for a modern, functional, reasonably priced recliner for two years. Found nothing in the stores I liked, so I went on-line. My mother found them first and had such excellent service with the company that I ordered from them too.

The chairs are so comfortable I forget to turn on the massage unit sometimes, but the heater on the small of the back is awesome. We fit perfectly (5’2″ and 5’11”) and enjoy them. They will work well in a small sitting, television room.

Both arrived in good shape except one chair had one massage module not working. Dreading the call, the company handled the situation painlessly, and within two weeks I had a new chair that works perfectly to replace the one that did not.

I have loved the4 idea of a camel leather chair for our library. these two are perfect. We have a moderate sized room painted in Benjamin Moore’s Hale Navy with White trim. We have cherry book cases and side tables, This color will be perfect!!!.

The recliners that I received is wonderful. Exactly what I expected.

Good small recliner!The chair comes in a medium sized box that weights 80+ lbs. It was delivered to my front door. I was able to remove the top piece of the cardboard container. I removed the seat back which is not attached to the chair from the carton.

I was able to slide the carton into the house and close to the area it was going to be placed. I removed the chair from the carton by cutting the carton carefully so as not to cut the chair upholstery.

The carton protected the chair from any damage. The electric cords, chair controller and assembly instructions are packed under the chair and you must turn the chair on its side to remove the box. The cords are easy to connect.

After the cords are connected you have to slide the two brackets on the chair back into the two metal back arms in the back of the chair and push the chair back down to fully engage with metal back arms.

Plug in the power cord and the chair is ready to use. The chair is listed as being on roller which it does not have. I am able to move the chair on carpet. The chair is small and is for my wife who is 5 6.

This is not a large oversized plush recliner but is works well and looks good. It is a good value.

first product bought from Aosom. Delivery was within 48hrs. Box arrived a little worse but the contents were ok. Assembly was simple and done in 5-10mins. You will need a second pair of hands to lift out the box.

There was a red cord that is attached to the chair that was sealed to the outer package to indicate contents were in box. This made getting it out of box interesting, so i would suggest cutting this prior to lifting the contents out.

Apart from that, all ok, works well, nice colour. Great product and a lot cheaper than others, so only time will tell on quality lifespan.

We purchase this chair for my 80 years old father. It is perfect. Not too bulky. Very quiet when using the electric lift. He is very happy with the chair. We are first time buyer with Aosom what a great and fast delivery service.

I am very pleased with this chair. It is comfortable except you cannot adjust the back separately. I found that to be a problem. I previously purchased a Lazy Boy recliner and within a month the mechanism broke down due to their using plastic gears.

I have had this chair for 5 months and it is working beautifully. I have a hip problem and there isn’t a chair that affords me the ability to sit straight and I lean to the right. This chair is far more comfortable than the Lazy Boy at a much higher cost.

The Recliner arrived earlier than the expected delivery date which was nice. It is comfortable and was rated from my research as being in the top 7 Recliners of this type. Powerlift. Nice & simple. I did not want all the bells and whistles of massage/heat.

This review is for the replacement chair. My original chair appeared to be dropped from a truck and was very loud on movement, leaving wood shavings and after 2 days completely stopped. We purchased two of these chairs (in blue linen) less than 7 months ago. Originally we loved them – great color, easy to put together, comfy. However a few days ago a sharp metal spring in the seat cushion broke and is sticking up through the seat.

The chair has only seen normal use in our living room – no jumping on it or extreme use of any kind. This is extremely dangerous! I immediately called Walmart and was told that we were outside of the 3 month return window.

They suggested I contact the manufacturer, and when I asked for the contact information they said they didn’t have anything on file. The only thing they suggested was to call my bank and file a dispute for the charge.

I’m extremely disappointed in Walmart’s lack of customer service and that they don’t stand behind their products, and very confused and concerned that they don’t have any way of contacting one of their vendors.

How are they supposed to do business with them? I have a useless, dangerous chair sitting in my living room and can do nothing about it. I don’t love the idea of disposable furniture. A chair should last longer than 7 months.

Hubby LOVES it!! He falls asleep in it every day. The material is strangely soft. When you sit in it, you do not squish down as it is quite firm yet very comfortable. Easy to recline and bring back up for everyone except my Mom who is very old and feeble.

Not overly wide of a chair so it doesn’t take up too much space. It sits higher than a regular couch. Our family ranges from 5’5″ to 6’3″ and we all love it. So happy with this purchase!.

The color is beautiful. The size is ideal for both comfort and space saving. I bought two for my sister’s family and they are overjoyed. The color also looks good with a light or dark interior while adding a little extra splash to the feel of the space.

This recliner fits in a small space very well. It does take a hard kick to close it when you get up and it’s nice to have the handle to pull to open it. My husband is pleased with it but it is a small recliner and not good for someone over 5’10”.

This recliner is nice. I’ve paid twice the amount for other chairs and this one is just as nice. It looks and feels like it cost a lot more. I didn’t know I was ordering a power chair, but now that I’ve got it, that’s nice, too.

The mechanism is smooth and really easy to operate. It goes from a totally upright position easily to a totally flat position with a simple push of the button. You can stop the button at any time when you’re at the position you want.

The chair comes in two pieces. The bottom/seat section is heavy, as it should be for stability. I put the chair together by myself with one simple step…insert the metal tabs on the chair back into the metal slots on the back of the seat.

These chairs are nice! First off, they do not smell. Second, they take only a few minutes to assemble. Third, I am a 5’2″ woman who unpacked the boxes by “rolling” them, and then assembled the recliners without help.

Fourth, they are comfortable and roomy enough. One friend reclined on one of them, and she is about 5’4, 240 pounds. She said it was comfortable. Fifth, they are good for small spaces. I looked all over for an appropriate sofa for my small living room.

I was using a futon couch that was about 6′ long and couldn’t spare more than about 75″. I like traditional furniture and spent a lot of time looking at sofas that were either too long or much too short.

Comfy recliner. I sit in this chair every day to watch tv and relax. I’m 5’7. The chair fits me no problem. I could see how it would problematic if I were any taller. The assembly was very easy. The reclining mechanisms are sturdy and have had no problems.

You need to be furniture adventuresome to make this purchase. It is clearly a different looking chair, has one color, and you can’t try it out. Have to buy it from the picture and reviews. We bought two of them for watching Netflix in the evening and wanted something for the room that did not scream recliner.

These chairs do both in style. These chairs can be pushed back against the wall and not be in the middle of the room like a typical recliner that needs space behind to recline. They are all in for comfort.

The cushions are not gushy soft, but a nice firmness for comfort. The reclining mechanism is on the has very comfortable positions. The head cushion has a separate adjust. The controls are integrated into the side of the cushion.

No cord and button to find or remote to lose. My wife and I strongly recommend these chairs. I don’t normally do reviews. This chair is the exception, it is worth it, even if you can’t try it.

I bought this chair to float in my living room. It is HUGE. I measured and even taped it out, but it just needs a lot of physical space and takes up a lot of visual space. It just dwarfed all my other furniture.

The fabric seems soft and durable, even for kids and pets. It is fairly comfortable, but I don’t like the thin arms. They look sleek, but there is nowhere to rest them when you recline, so you have to just lay them awkwardly at your sides.

It is convenient that the controls are hidden to the right of the seat, but odd that the switch/plug is in full view in the back. I’d recommend this chair for someone who was going to place it against a wall (it doesn’t require clearance behind it in order to recline) in a huge room with tall ceilings and other huge furniture.

Bought a pair of these sight unseen and waited for a long time to get them. We’re very happy with them. My only real gripe is that the power cord and switch are right on the back instead of underneath.
