20 Best Chairs For Meditation (2022 Updated)

I bought this to sit on the floor next to my dog and I can sit on and read it for about 45 minutes before wanting to change position. It would be useful for gamers, young children who want their own minisofa (if you bought two of these), and for folks who want to meditate.

The covers can be removed for spot cleaning, and the adjustment system is easy to use. I have the chair on the most upright setting and it holds its position and feels stable on the floor. I highly recommend this item after 2 weeks of ownership.

It is excellent value for money.

I bought this for my 5 yr old grandson because he loves sitting on th floor and watch TV. I sat down on the floor with him and was surprised how comfortable the chair is. It has very thick cushions on both the seat and the back.

I have been using the chair more than my grandson. I will order another one in a different color for my grandaughter.

These chairs are super comfortable, are well made, and very versatile. My son even slept on them and said they were so comfortable, he thought he was in his bed. I’ve ordered two more to add to the teen hangout room.

So I bought this as an early gift to my older brother and he loves it so much. The only con about this is the way this was manufactured. When setting it up most people said in the reviews on Amazon that it was easy since it took them five minutes, with this one it took us 30 minutes due to the holes where you’re suppose to screw it.

It was covered with something that was wrapped around it. My brother had to break it with a knife in order for the nuts and bolts to go inside the holes because it was covered. So far it’s still ok. It makes my brother watching TV in his room more comfy because of this chair.

I love how it spins. It’s a unique chair. Hopefully this lasts longer. Just a warning for future buyers that this chair is a lot smaller than it looks in the picture. It fits more to smaller people. Think it through before buying.

I really wish this would’ve worked out because now it becomes a huge inconvenience for myself and my husband as we now have to take this chair apart to take it back to the store. It’s listed as being 40″ W, however in actuality it’s only 36″W.

It’s just too small for our needs, otherwise it seems to be a really nice chair. I’m glad the manager Stefanie understood and was completely cooperative and is allowing the return. I would hope so, it is a mistype on the website! It’s even printed on the box as 36W.

However, we didn’t catch it until it was too late, my husband had already put the chair together. You really NEED to update your website to say the correct size of the product, especially for that price!.

After a few days these balls kept coming off from underneath. Now like a month later seems like the top is gna fall off and there is absolutely no cushion to the cushion left. Had my heart set on this type chair for so long too.

Half tempted order another hoping just got a bad chair! 🙁 but would be so upset if broke so quickly. Def should have bought warranty!(who would think it would brake so soon!).

Very well made and attractive but HUGE. I am 6 feet tall but my husband ended up cutting off about 3 inches of the legs to make it more comfortable to sit down and get up. Seat doesn’t come out far enough under legs so your legs aren’t really supported.

Not terribly comfortable. Probably wouldn’t buy again.

I bought this chair specifically for the seat height as listed several places in product description. “Dimensions: 22-in L x 26. 8-in W x 44. 5-in H; Seat height 25. 5-in,” Seat height of 25,5 is what I needed.

When i finished assembly seat height is actually 30. 5″. Five inches to high. Very disappointed.

To move forward, after about 24 hrs I received a response from the same rep via email that management was not able to offer me ANYTHING.

that is fine, it is their prerogative, but for just a small percentage they could have kept me a happy customer instead of loosing me completely and permanently and there is no way in good faith I could recommend this site to anyone.

As for the chair itself, it appears where the swivel base mechanism was or should be, they have replaced it with a square of UNFINISHED PLYWWOOD which looks completely shoddy vs. the chair itself. (I have similar barstools that look almost identical to these and they do swivel).

The rating here is base not only on my disappointment with the product, but with the service received by the management and company itself, not the rep I dealt with. I would skip this chair if you are looking for a swivel chair because it doesn’t and I personally would not shop nor recommend Houzz in the future if they don’t stand by the workings of what their own website search produced and lead me to believe I was buying.

**UPDATE – after posting this review and only after posting this review, Houzz credited my account 10% of the price and I kept the chairs. Wish they would have stepped up without me having to do this, but nonetheless, the did step up and I must give credit where it is due.

I’m very pleased with this purchase overall. Would have given 5 stars except for one detail of the chairs. The piece of wood on the bottom of the seat, to which you attach the legs, is UNFINISHED wood.

While standing this does not show, but if you are in a low chair somewhere else in the room and look toward these chairs the unfinished wood stands out like a sore thumb. I spent $15 for a small can of walnut stair and a brush and about 30 minutes staining these unfinished pieces.

Now you don’t notice. THE MANUFACTURER SHOULD DO THIS TO BEGIN WITH. All that aside I’m happy I bought these chairs. They look great with my Tulip Table.

I ordered four of these chairs for my new dining room set up. They are beautiful and I would absolutely recommend. However, I am giving giving a four star rating because the charcoal fabric is MUCH darker than pictured.

Still beautiful and I am still happy though.

I decided to decorate my main floor house in red and black. I ordered these chairs because the price was reasonable and they liked comfortable, they’re eye no reviews at the time of purchase so I am going to provide feedback.

I ordered a pair of these chairs from Walmart. com they arrived early which was a plus, over was damaged horribly when received, it had two slits on the upper back and thee inside material was busting through the outside fabric.

This created doubt and I began to feel as if I made a bad purchase. My husband decided to put the other one together and I’m glad he did, it is so comfortable and I love it. I ended placing a pickup order and having the damaged chair exchanged for a new one.

I’m glad I kept them. The chairs are very easy to assymble just screw on legs in matching numeric order according to the provided illustated directions.

Sometimes you just get what you pay for. This is one of those times. The chair arrived in a timely fashion. It is a dark brown just like the photo. Ours head a spot that was ripped underneath. You can’t really see it so probably not worth sending back.

Also the faux leather was not pulled tightly in all places so it appears cheaply made. We are putting it in an office so it won’t get sat in a lot. Again, price matches quality and just not worth sending back.

Just beware.

You get what you pay for. When they some assembly required, they fail to mention that the legs that they send do not match in length so the chair wobbles. Luckily I bought two of the chairs so I could mix and match some of the legs.

You have to use ingenuity to get the rest to work. I would have been better off going to an actual furniture store and buying chairs there. If you don’t care about your chairs wobbling these will be great for you but if you want some legitimate chairs do yourself a favor and purchase a different chair.

Pink is a bit bright (think bubblegum). The Red Floral is a RUST leaf-pattern. The seat and arms are firm, not plush. But that’s OK with me (hence buying a second color!). The legs ship in a compartment in the bottom of the seat.

Also find plastic washers to place between the legs and base. The curve of the legs, particularly the back legs, should be toward the rear. It will probably take two people and turning the chair over, to get the screw attaching the back of the chair to “bite”; you may have to leave out the metal washer there.

Make sure both sides of the back are in the metal ‘grooves’.

Best purchase of year! I will come back to elaborate further but here are some basics. You will not be disappointed. Set up in a snap. Legs are labeled front and back. Legs have 3 flat sides and a curved.

The curved faces inward. Be sure to use the plastic washers when attaching the legs. I did not bolt the back on, and am quite pleased with how solid the char still is, They are comfortable for the purpose intended.

They’re easy to keep clean. Vacuum once a week to keep color vibrant and to keep dust from settling into fabric. I think I will get two more for a different room. Really like the style. This is the pop of color my room needed.

Wasn’t sure what to expect but took the risk and pleasantly surprised. Construction seems sturdy and assembly was straight forward. The connection screw between seat and chair back at the bottom was not sufficiently long to attach.

However, the chair back fits tightly in the side slots so no danger of getting dislodged. Works great as accent chair in guest bedroom.

The chair in itself is a nice chair. It arrived quickly. The color is more beige than white. The seat cushion is thin, but comfortable. All you need to do is attach the chair legs just but twisting. This was bought as accent chairs for our master bedroom.

As I was twisting the chair legs in I saw a big warning label sticker under the chair that read WARNING CONTAINS Formaldehyde! Being 7 months pregnant (which can cause birth defects and cancer) I freaked out, immediately got them out of the bedroom, and washed my hands! Now I don’t know what to do with them?! No where in the description does it say this.

We’ve bought so much furniture and put together, never once have I seen this warning. Pretty annoyed!.

This chair is smaller than I thought but it looks great. The fabric is nice looking and finished well. Slim cushion and more for decor than seating used a lot. Both arms have indentions in the foam under the fabric.

I thought it might fluff back up after removed from packaging but they didn’t. Slight chemical smell. Use pliars to turn & take off plastic caps covering leg screws. Overall very nice looking for the price.

Luckily I was not extremely set on the color I thought I was getting (as shown as an white/ivory color). The chair was def more of sandy/beige color. But I was okay with that too. Chair is pretty stiff, but will probably soften up after we break it in over time.

Got 2 of these in green for my living room to help define the space. I don’t think green would have been my first choice, but it was available. I do really like the green color now that I have it. Chairs swivel freely, no noise when rotating, are comfortable, support my larger frame, and look great.

I really like how the back of the chairs have these little slits that give them some extra flair.

These chairs are the cutest. We recently got 4 of them for our basement. Had 2 friends over just yesterday and they both said the chairs were comfortable. This was also the best price we could find for this style of chair.

Shipping was faster than first stated and they were packed well and covered up to prevent stains/marks. Highly recommended.

Overall, this chair is very nice. Easy to put together, sturdy, nice leather. However, I would recommend this chair as more of a statement piece as opposed to something you are going to sit in all the time.

The comfort level is not great if you will be sitting for more than 10-15 mins. I personally was looking for a reading/tv chair so I ended up returning it.

This is a good looking chair for the price. It arrived far earlier than expected and was extremely well packaged. Assembly was easy. BUT be aware that the color is not caramel (which to me suggests a touch of orange) but straight up dark tan.

That’s the only thing that I found disappointing.

First, the delivery box clearly states 62 pounds and FedEx will dump it anywhere except where you have instructed so be forewarned. The two seating pieces are merely plastic bagged with a thin cardboard wrap between and the chrome base and stand are wrapped in a thin foam paper and loose in the box.

Despite all this, arrived seemingly undamaged and I was pleasantly surprised there are only 4 bolts and four washers needed to fasten the seat and back (already assembled) together! Note lifting these out of the box is awkward cuz of the shapes and plastic bag plus they are weighty.

I dont have my white pebble chair in a stark sterile mod setting but in a calming retro midcentury sewing space with a (70s) particle wood sewing cabinet, utilitarian Origami shelving and other vintage/thrift items and it fits very well.

The nearly 36 inch padded curved seat satisfied my initial wish for a settee or a plush wingback chair without the bulky footprint. The high back provides support for my shoulders and neck. The 360 swivel eliminates the pushing back and forth on casters that often jolted me when theyd stop abruptly on the rug even with the mat.

I am freed up to scoot closer to my handicraft because I am not hampered by chair arms. It took me a year to decide whether I should choose kiwi or teal but opted for universal white because it will blend in any room if/when I move.

Excellent complement to my living room. The chair is so comfortable, the seat is wide and comfy and it’s very different than anything else you find. I also have the teal counter stools ordered earlier and they match perfectly!.

But very cute! its very much a living room chair, hence the height. Fabric seems fine, I feel for the person who received a ripped one. And yes the instructions are vague. but i was able to figure it out and now i’m using her every day! happy shopping!.

Lovely chair. Yes it sits quite low but for an accent chair to lounge in your bedroom it fits perfectly. It is stern but comfortable. Set up took no less than 20 mins and this lovely piece seems durable.

It is my first day with it, I am going to go in store to find a nice ottoman and I believe it will be the perfect addition to my bedroom. Especially since we are in isolation and I’m tired of laying in bed lol.

Cute chair – looks just like photo. The light gray is very cool (has a lot of blue undertones). Returning because of color. Seat sits pretty low to ground.

I purchased this for a client’s family room. We needed something bold that swivels – it would have to stand up to some abuse from little kids, so the price had to be right. The shape is a knockoff of the lobster chair, which sells for around 5k.

The Peggy is a solid chair and swivels very nicely. The gray has a slightly blue tint with a metallic finish and looks just as pictured. The packaging is heavy and large – the box takes two to maneuver, but putting it together is a simple.

one-person job. The chair itself is very firm and not what you’d call soft and comfortable. But at this price point, we didn’t expect comfort. However, I found myself sitting in it over and over again.

In spite of its firm quality, it’s a fun chair to be in!.

I love the color and the base chair is comfortable. A “fuller” cushion on the seat would make it more comfortable. The instructions are ridiculous – there is a very nebulous comment about the “tilt lever” which does not seem to function at all.

The “odd assembly” is that there is no means to permanently attach the “foot” or base of the chair. The stem just rests within the opening on the feet, so if you need to move the chair, unless you slide it, when you lift up the base remains on the floor.

Poor design on that component, but so far I like the chair in general.

The chair is extremely comfortable and well mad. Easy to assemble. BUT the Shipping Packaging is SUBSTANDARD. I ordered 2 and one was return because FEDEX would not delivery the damaged box (and most likely chair) while delivered chair had minor damage on one upper corner because of the POOR packaging.

However, Hayneedle refunded me for the one chair purchase and damage on other. I love the chair, and will try again. Hope HAYNEEDLE improves their Quality controls over shipping from their manufacturers.

Cute but not for adult sitting, maybe for decoration or kids. Again it’s not big so it’s nt comfortable but it’s so eye catching and easy to set up. Quality wise it’s ok but not the best , but I love my furniture and will be getting the silver one.

Super fast shipping! Nice chair, seems sturdy. Only had to attach the armrests and bolt the back to the seat at the back. The rest was fully assembled. 10 minute job. Very lightweight and easy to move around.

I can’t say for long term with a big guy sitting in it? But working great as of now.

Chair is wonderful. AOSOM service was amazing. We had issue with 2 previous chairs and the took great care to make sure we were happy with everything.

It was much smaller than expected. Teen son said was uncomfortable. He wanted to use it for sleepovers as a chair and then bed at friends houses and when they came over. Would be best for younger children.

Its exactly what I wanted for the guest room my grandkid uses when visiting. He uses his electronics sitting on the carpet so I thought I would get something a bit more comfortable for him. He loves it!!.
