20 Best Chairs For Streaming (2022 Updated)

Received for christmas but after 6 months of daily use I can say this is the worst white elephant gift I’ve ever received. It’s huge and heavy, so it simply doesn’t work in a small space or at a desk.

Every time I sit down in the chair it makes terrible creaking sounds (I weigh 100lb so its not me thats the issue). If you are into the whole speaker thing, I guess that’s a plus, but I vastly prefer headphones so I’ve honestly never even used them, and I have no desire too because then I’d have to have all sorts of cables plugging into my chair for that.

Worst of all, it’s simply terribly uncomfortable. I recommend you look at the chair from the side profile and really think about how your body could conform to it. It’s impossible to have good posture with this chair.

I’m going to swap it for a regular desk chair ASAP, because this thing is simply not good.

Have waited over a year to write this review, incase I had a change of heart about this chair. I have many problems with this, and will list as follows: The chair, considering its price tag, is incredibly uncomfortable for extended hours of gaming.

I can’t go more than 1-2 hours a session without getting uncomfortable because of the structure of it. Again, for the price, you’d expect decent materials. But the base material is cracked and ripping apart after only 12 months of use.

The arm rests never stay secure no matter how tight you do up the bolts, (which, as a side note, the arm rests are only arm rests and are not mechanically structural enough to be used to lift or move the chair) The base doesn’t move at all – makes it annoying when using this chair for computer gaming, dragging too and from the desk etc.

And lastly, the speakers installed in the chair are nothing more than a niche that will wear off when you start getting back aches from the sub installed in the rear of the seat. Would not recommend this chair to anyone over a similarly priced dxracer, or other gaming branded chair.

I kept this chair in the lounge and it got a lot of use as most people that came over wanted to try it out. It’s a comfortable chair with pretty good speakers, the vibration is really cool. It is wireless but the wireless adapter does not come with an AC plug, despite it having the ability to be power that way.

This means that unless you buy a separate plug for the adapter you will need to use batteries and they will run out of charge super fast, the quality of music drastically reduced when using the chair wirelessly.

I would recommend using the included AUX cable over the wireless adapter. The base of the chair only has 4 tack welds holding it in place and over time these ended up coming undone as they are usually not used to permanently secure something.

Maybe this happened to mine due to the amount of use it got but it is a sign of poor quality.

Wow just wow i really am surprised at how awesome this chair is for its price. Ive sat in othe gaming/desk chairs at this price and this is the best one ive experienced in this price range, you really cant beat it.

At first the butt cushion is stiff but it gets softer pretty fast, there is a break in period assembly was super easy and comes with gloves. and the fabric is really nice and i think its supposed to be water resistant, its also toot resistant apparently because you know how usually when you toot in a cushion you like “oh dang it now its going to be trapped in there for all eternity” well look no further this chair just deflects the tooticles (toot particles) out and up so when you or someone sits in it the stuff dont come up.

In all seriousness this chair really is amazing.

Excellent value and comfort. This chair feels really solid and really balances the line between support and comfort. It feels a little hard on some areas, then you realize its supporting your back exactly where it needs to and the lower cushion is firm, but yet the quilting is very gentle.

Very little fatigue with this chair. The X really just loses the 4D arms, but that really doesn’t matter much to me. Box is a bit big and awkward so do as it says and get help to move. Instructions are pretty straightfoward to assemble (really very little parts and everything you need is in the box).

I personally don’t like high lumbar support. Over time it makes my back extremely sore and this chair has ALOT of lumbar support. Unfortunately you can’t adjust it and I wasn’t able to find a setting that was comfortable for me.

On the bright side the packaging and quality of the chair was extremely high and I was really excited to unbox it!.

I use this chair at my desk. I love to sit back and rock when I get tired of typing. When I need to get up it is very easy to turn around and get up. What I don’t like is how low it actually sits. I am using a couple pillows to raise me up a bit so I can sit at desk level better.

This would be a perfect chair if it were higher or if the height could be adjusted. I have also had to spray the rocking mechanism with WD-40 to stop the squeaking and grinding noise when I rock but that was an easy fix.

All-in-all I love this chair.

At first I wasn’t too sure about this chair, after all how can you be online without planting your butt in it at the store? Well as soon as I pulled the parts out of the box I knew I was going to be pleased.

This is truly high quality. I own an office chair so I do have something to compare it to. It’s the same height as my office chair. The arms move up and back so you can have a regular chair should you so desire.

I found the chair to be very comfortable and relaxing. I’m only 5 2 so the height of the back of the chair was nice for my head support as well. It would not be a good fit for a 6 foot or taller person.

So please keep that in mind if you are purchasing it for a tall person. I also don’t think anyone of 300 pounds or more could fit in the chair. It’s not as small as an airplane seat but it’s not first class seats either.

That’s the only reason why I gave it one less star. I do have large family members that I know for sure won’t be able to sit in it.

It’s a good chair but I only get a year out of them before the plywood breaks. If it was plastic or metal it would be better. Great chair though the respawn rocker is a phenomenal chair. I just personally don’t get many miles.

My grandson turn 18 years old, he has his own car he is a a senior in high school. He has so many things, when it comes to birthdays it’s hard to figure out what get him. He still loves gaming he spends hours playing, he suffers from a back injury due to football so sitting that long in a uncomfortable chair was hard on him.

So I decided this would be the perfect gift for him, it’s so awesome looking with all kinds of features including a back massager. I had to order online when it was delivered to his home, his dad put it together for him.

He immediately fell in love with the looks of the gaming chair, it was so sporty looking. He said the wheels looked like rims he loved the color and most of all the chair reclines, and the best part the massager.

He was really happy with his gift, there was nothing he didn’t like about it. I feel we as his grandparents made a great choice, to buy the gaming chair for his birthday!.

We are a family of gamers and I do quite a bit of my work from home. Starting with the desk, it is perfect in size and especially in width. I love the depth and quality of the desk-top. It is adjustable and fits most monitors.

I love that it has a cup holder and a handle for your headphones to maintain a clutter-free desktop. It was very easy to put together and set-up. The chair is so comfortable! It is ergonomic and completely adjustable for that perfect setting.

The lumbar cushion is amazing and I love that it isn’t stationary and can be adjusted to different parts of your back. The handles are adjustable and can be put down if you don’t want them in the way.

The foot rest is terrific as it helps with any circulatory issues you may be having as you sit for longer time-frames. It can be tucked away completely as well. There is a plugin and I can attach my headphones to the chair.

I absolutely love this set together. The comfort of the chair paired with the width and simplicity of the desk is amazing.

This set is such great quality. They were both very easy to assemble, the instructions were easy to read and it came with everything you needed. The desk is very stylish and aesthetically pleasing. It can hold two monitors very easily and it offers cable management clips to keep wires in place.

I love the headset holder and cup holder on this set. The raised monitor platform has been a life saver as it reduce neck strain. The finish on the desk allows for easy cleaning. The gaming chair is sturdy.

It’s comfortable, especially with the lumbar pillow as it supports your back. It even has a foot rest! This is honestly a great value. It would benefit any gamer, someone who works in an office setting or even someone who works from home.

Easy to assemble and very comfortable. I’ve only had it for about a week now, but today I sat in it for 6 hours during a required video call/meeting for school. I am not a gamer, but a 34 yr old student with a full time job.

I needed something ergonomically comfortable while studying. The lumbar support is surprisingly decent, the materials appears very decent quality and sturdy. I love that the arm rests fold up easily, so I can sit “Indian style” in the chair when I need to change positions.

It also reclines some, but you can lock it with the lever as well to lock the recline function. I highly recommend this for general use. I got the dark gray color and it looks like a normal fancy office chair.

Even though I didn’t pay lot for this chair eventually my pocket will feel it. Started to assemble when I noticed the wheels DO NOT lock to the chair. The instructions are minimal. They are pictures showing assembly.

Went on here to get an idea of how to correct this without having to send it back. I came across all the negative reviews on this item. This is definitely low quality and attempting to get a satisfying resolution from the manufacturer I can see will not happen.

I have yet to see a feedback from the manufacturer to the complaints. Big flag for me because obviously they can care less of the poor quality products they sell to us. I definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND this product and this is coming from someone who hasn’t even finished assembling the product but already know what will be the end result.

Walmart should be mindful of continuing to do business with these third party sellers that get such low reviews.

This would be the third chair I have purchased since working from home for just over a year. I love this chair. I’m a short and plus size, it works well for. My previous chair was a big and tall chair what I thought would last, however in became uncomfortable after a few months.

I’ve had this chair about 5 months now and highly recommend. The only reason it’s not getting 5 stars is because I feel the cushion could be a little better but I am over the weight limit. I work 10 hour shift, this chair is comfortable the entire time.

I don’t need to constantly get up because it’s hurting back back or butt like the previous ones I have purchased. If you’re looking for a good inexpensive chair I highly recommend this one not to mention my other two were more expensive and didn’t last as long.

Bought this for my 13 year old teenage son to use while playing xbox. It survived 4 months. Last night I took the bottom swivel off to assess the problem and one of the bottom steel braces had snapped where the bolt was.

the rest of the chair still works fine. As a much older. uh 50 adult, I find the chair back uncomfortable but he likes it and how it adjusts. He likes the swivel as well. We both agree it is too low to the ground.

I think if it was 6″ higher it would be much better. It was very easy to setup. The fabric is as good as new after 4 months of constant teenager use. The bottom cushion is thickly padded. I used it for a couple hours over the course of a few days and it helped if I used a thin pillow at the base of my back.

I don’t know if I would recommend this as a gaming chair. The failure in the bottom frame could have been a fluke. I will not be replacing it with another one. I think we will go with one of the curved gaming chairs that are simpler and less to stress under the wild gaming sessions of a teenager.

The chair is nice overall, no assembly is a win for those who do not want to be bothered to do it. The swivel feature is very good also, and its light-weight so that you can move it around without any problems.

I have read the reviews and have taken note of the reclining issue but decided to purchase anyway along with the protection plan. The chair has a weight capacity of over 250 lbs so it should be durable enough for me.

I am 118 pounds, and about 5’3. Although when you sit in it, and start to use the reclining adjustment feature you can tell and or feel where part of the chair other customers are complaining about it reclining and not coming back up.

For some, it may not be durable enough for it to be your “main” chair. But it really still is a good product! Just purchase the protection plan to save yourself the headache later. Just in case.

I bought this for my daughter to uae while gaming, however it did not work for her. The lift at the front of the chair below the thighs was elevated just a bit too much and would cause her sciatica to cause her pain.

However that is a personal issue, the chair is is very good quality, but not too heavy to move. The materials were good, and the chair is comfortable, just not a good fit for my daughter. She is 5’4″ and weighs 136.

She does have ongoing sciatica issues, she needs a flatter shape seat area. So my review is on the chair itself. This chair also swivels and you can adjust the upright position. Overall it is a very good and comfortable chair.

It would have been for me.

This item was received in a larger solid box. Unfortunately, the hardware bag had opened and was spread throughout, but after taking everything out, I was lucky enough to find all the pieces. After putting it together, it seems as pictured.

I’m a woman about 5′ 8″, 145 lbs, and the chair seems sturdy enough for me, however, if you are bigger, it may not be sturdy or wide enough. My only major complaint (and the reason for 4 stars)- the casters don’t seem to roll as smoothly as I’d like- but, I can get some better quality ones for minimal price at a hardware store.

Overall, seems to be what I needed for occasional office use.

The chair is attractive. However it really doesn’t seem to be sturdy, so I wouldn’t consider using this as an everyday office chair. I bought it for my teen, she will probably use it a couple times a week and it looks cute in her room.

Only designed to be decorative. I had the chair for six months and the arms of the chair broke. Just attempted to sit up right and the arms snapped. Not reliable/dependable/sturdy/durable.

I ordered this chair as I wanted something more stylish since you can see my open concept office from adjoining rooms. This chair is definitely stylish with the gold accents and the contrast of the black seat.

The chair is more comfortable than I expected with the high back and it does offer some lumbar support. I’m short so having this is rare. I can sit in this chair comfortably all day. I also appreciate how affordable this chair is and it arrived just a few days after I ordered.

Communication was superb from when the order was received, being processed and then full shipping and tracking details were sent the next day!! Overall, I’m very very impressed and love my chair!!.

The chair overall is a good value, comfortable, and stylish. The manufacturing, however, could have been better. During assembly it is required that you attach the chair arms to the seat section with the screws provided.

The screws were there, but what was missing was the holes in the vinyl. I had to feel for the holes below the vinyl and delicately cut out openings to allow the screws to penetrate. This presented an opportunity to ruin the seat and shows a complete lack of quality control in the manufacturing and inspection process.

the chair is fine for what it is. i dont like that the frame is made of wood, it got creaky fast but hasnt fallen apart. the sound is good & i do prefer it to the couch or recliner. it sits you up straight, rocks & swivels.

for $180 im happy with it. I really just bought it to see if i liked how a captains chair with speakers would workout, it cool so far. its been about 3 weeks. i dont see it lasting 2 years, the upholstery seams are poor, the entire back is mainly just thin fabric & the wood frame just doesnt seem to be made to last.

it’s basically just like sitting on a padded speaker box that creaks a bit. but it works, looks cool & is pretty fun to use. im definitely not disappointed, i got exactly what i expected.

Great sound, comfy and looks great. Bought it as a gift and it was very well received. Roommate is thrilled with it, his boss is jealous, all goals hit. Wouldn’t connect wireless to the ps4 but that is the consoles issue, not the chair.

All in all it is sturdy, stylish and a bargain for the price. I am well pleased with it.

I bought this chair 1 year ago. The first chair broke in 8weeks. The support beams that hold the back rest together are flimsy at best. When i returned the old chair I received a new one. The new one took 6 months before a support beam gave up once again.

What I learned from this experience is that do not buy “gaming chairs”.

There was some damage under the sitting part of the chair. This review software doesn’t allow me to add a photo. The cushion for the head is too low to actually use unless you are short. The chair, is not covered in leather, it is 100% plastic.

The chair is very stiff and not well cushioned at all. The wheels do not turn, they drag. Razer does not list any chairs on their web site. This is a product from Zen using the Razer name under license.

Great chair, extremely comfortable for extended periods of time. Good back support and the design of the chair is perfect. The material is great and doesn’t get hot which is good for an extended period of use.

Would definitely recommend this to others wanting a good chair for office and gaming.

These chairs are CHEAPLY made. The leather is PU leather (fake) and easily loses shape/stretches. The main reason I’m letting you know to not buy is the parts quality. Respawn skimps everywhere they can.

The engineering was copied from another company so fitment is not precise. Bearing in the base of the chair is a plastic ring. The chair is nice for about 2-3 months (depending on use) and then the chair is wobbly at the base.

The response from Respawn is to send you the same chair, which becomes wobbly in 2-3 months. It’s so frustrating to spend money on a product that ends up being worth 1/4 of what you paid. For the price, order a Secretlab instead.

I bought this chair roughly two months ago, and the leg rest showed immediate issues, as it bowed downwards with any kind of pressure that resting your feet on it would provide, and eventually the metal on the leg-rest holding it in place broke entirely through light-to-moderate use.

This was not a defective product from my viewpoint as no parts were broken or damaged, just poor quality. Moderate use of the armrests resulted in permanent disfiguration/compression of the padding on them.

The chair consistently creaks and squeaks under it in a worrying fashion when moving, even after applying some lubricant to all obvious points of friction(I’m not much of a heavy person either – 220 range for 6’2).

I am in an enclosed space so the back of the chair took a bit of a beating against a wall sometimes and mildly ripped the leather, and that would absolutely be my fault, though through this I would give them the fact that the leather itself is very good quality, and does not come apart at the seams very easily – it’s taken a beating from what would be considered “improper use” by rubbing against a wall very well.

Given that, don’t get this chair, all in all – there are equally priced ones that will last longer and don’t use what seems like flimsy metal.

IšverstiShow in original languageChair was packaged very well. The look of the chair is top notch professional. It is very comfortable. The arm padding is softer than the Hyken. Though it doesnt have stepped recliner, its only straight or lay back 2-steps, unlike the hyken which gives you 3 steps to lay back and lock.

The build was very easy only requiring 3 types of bolts and each is color coded with thread lockers. Initially the mesh seat gave some resistance but quickly within 2- days it became more pliable. Before I had a $50 foam mesh back chair from another retail store and after 2-3 hours sitting it was giving me back problems and had to lay down.

I have sat in this new chair and have not had such problems, I even took a nap on it laying back it was so comfortable. In the future I will buy thrid party polyurathane wheels as with these basic wheels will usually get clogged and dirty within 6 months.

BUt that is not a boon on the chair. This is a must buy chiar for comfort and long stretches at the computer or desk setting.

IšverstiShow in original languageI am 6’2″ about 205 lbs, and this chair fits me so much better than my old chair. It’s helping my health to sit in a good ergonomic chair (which I read were way better for you than gaming chairs).

I opted to purchase additional rollerblade casters, which were a nice addition, and now whenever I use my old chair it’s like scraping across the ground by comparison. (However, I am not sure the base will hold up due to the additional leverage that the rollerblade wheels have by virtue of being larger).

I was afraid the arm rests would hurt my arms, but they’re made of a pliant material, so they’re actually pretty comfortable. I chose this chair over others in part because it went on sale, and since we’re in a pandemic and I had to purchase a new chair sight-unseen, I reasoned that if it was a bad fit or something, that I would have less sunken costs.

It was one that I had been researching, along with the Aeron and the Leap and the Hyken. It was so silent at first, but now has a super minimal squeak, as I am pretty restless. So I will try to WD40 it.

I was having severe fatigue, and between this and switching from pop to nothing to coffee, I have regained my productivity! So happy, thank you Union & Scale and Staples! I purchased it with coupon, but then decided to change the color, so I cancelled my order.

I assumed the coupon would be able to be reapplied, but when I went to buy the new chair, the coupon said it had already been used. So I wasn’t able to get the coupon – just beware of that. I was afraid the headrest (which for me is a major factor) would not be very useful on some of these types of chairs, due to other reviews, but I love it.

I did notice that although you can lock the chair upright, that it doesn’t allow you to lock it into different degrees of recline. I bought in haste, partially cause I was so sick of the weeks I spent researcher, but I am absolutely satisfied and would recommend to other people, especially considering the sale price.

The mesh material is very comfortable and seems like it will hold up based on what others have been saying.

IšverstiShow in original languageI have been searching for a chair for my home desk for about 3 months now. This was my third one and it was worth it! Ergonomic mesh chairs are hard to find under $300.

The ones under $300 have terrible reviews. This chair is affordable (less than $200 was my goal) and seems to be made of quality material. So far, I’ve had no stretching of the mesh (this was a huge problem on reviews for other chairs) and that adjustability makes this chair great for different needs.

I have found even if the chair is not tall enough to have proper typing stance (elbows 90 degrees or slightly more open), the armrests can be raised so you’re able to have your elbows above the keyboard.

The standard recline of the chair is nice — not too far back, but it is adjustable if you want more of a recline. My biggest complaint is that the lumbar support does not actually touch your back (at least for me weighing less than 150lbs).

You have to apply quite a bit of pressure to feel that support bar, but the mesh isn’t too loose so this isn’t a huge problem. At full height of chair, anybody 5’6 or less should get a foot rest for proper posture.

Overall, great chair and so glad I found it.

The headrest is great and I’m now getting used to it. The height adjustable arm rests were great and moves up and down no problem. It seems durable but time will tell. Solid purchase and 100% will recommend to anyone!.

I purchased this chair to replace a worn out office chair I’ve been using for three years. I was excited by the prospect of having a foot rest and being able to recline the chair. And lumbar support, the one thing my old chair was missing? Why, that sounds awesome! It wasn’t difficult to assemble and was put together in about an hour.

I find it much more comfortable compared to my old chair. The addition of the headrest and lumbar support really help make my work and leisure time comfortable. Despite being comfortable, there are some problems I just can’t overlook.

A week into owning the chair, I noticed a tear in the chair material where it had been against the edge of my desk. Another mark was right beneath it, likely from when I raised the chair higher. The footrest is flimsy.

I opted to get an ottoman to use instead of the footrest, as I worry putting too much weight against it might make it snap. It’s not really comfortable. The chair wobbles a LOT. I noticed on day one that even after I tightened everything, it felt a little wobbly.

By the second week, it was wobbling way too much. I ended up retightening everything which helped, but I suspect I’ll have to retighten the screws on a weekly or biweekly basis. Not something I expect to do with a brand new chair.

Part of me loves and hates the chair. It’s really comfortable, but obviously not made of great material. And to have to retighten the screws is really a downer. If you’re looking for comfort, this has it.

But do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for something with a little more quality.

arm rest are very flimsy no matter how tight you can get the bolts. cushions are VERY stiff. after a month they have started to soften to where it doesnt feel like im sitting on wood but still not much softer.

the footrest feels sketchy but so far it has held up to the weight of my feet. im 6’3 165lbs and it feels like im maxing this chair out even though its very wide. oh and no instructions to be found on assembly online or in the box so it took a while to put together.

some holes did not line up very well either. not using the footrest as much as i thought i would. it does the job and looks amazing. reclining function is very nice. hoping it will get more comfortable with time.

I thought i’d give a month before dropping my review. First, the box is huge, thank god our councils are disposing of our waste responsibly. Woah thats a lot of cardboard, the box it came in is built like a shed, no joke.

Once you broke the chair out of its confinement, The construction of this chair is brief and forgettable. You can do it solo but there is no shame in asking for help, if your a girl that is 😛 Once it’s up – its sturdy *coughs* – built for big people – not hugging like you’re in some sorta clutch hold, other gaming chairs tend to be built like that- the ones i have owned seemed to be anyway, this is just perfect for me its as smooth as a models peach coloured thigh.

Wheels glide, no squeaks or wheezes. Comfy (the firmness wears away) I play a lot of star citizen and when i swing the chair round and sit down – swinging my legs under the desk and fire my engines up it just feels epic.

I love this chair. If you are at the pc loads like me, your butt deserves it. Decent quality faux leather that looks like its been stripped from a luxury 1990’s bmw. (I think anda seat do make seats for cars like bmw and mercedes) It goes high so my feet don’t touch the floor (5ft 9ins – My height – not the height the chair achieves) and drops very low, plus the arms do the same up and down – left and right, twist in and twist out, my only niggle is when you set the chair back like your at the dentist the arm rests don’t slide back very far to support your arms.

But this is very minor problem. If i had two butts there would still be room. Great chair man Great chair.

I bought this a week ago to replace a corsair gaming chair which had seen better days. While assembling this new chair it is obvious from the materials used how much a better chair this was compared to my old one.

It went together very easily and since using it is very accommodating due to its size and the memory foam seats are very comfortable. There was only one snag due to lumbar pillow side release connector on the strap being damaged.

I contacted Anda Seat via email and after proof of purchase given, they have quickly dealt with the issue with a replacement. Overall, I am very satisfied with this chair, and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

This chair is great. It’s comfortable and versatile, able to manoeuvre from being pretty much vertical, to almost laid down. The head and lumber support cushions are a bonus (although you don’t have to have them installed if you don’t want them).

I especially love the height adjustable arms, these go far higher than any other home office chair I’ve owned. I know this is supposedly a gaming chair, however I do my gaming in front of a TV, this is purely for my home office and I know that I’ll never go back to ordinary operator chairs again.

I am also on the larger side and can confirm this chair is more than adequate in that department. I couldn’t help with how it would be for somebody tall (I am 5’7″) but my 6’7″ son has sat on it and was more than happy with how it felt.

It’s easy to put together (although I did need another person to hold it still while I fastened things). Just because you’re not going to be completing missions on Call of Duty for hours on end, does not mean you couldn’t love this chair!.

I am in LOVE with this chair. The aesthetic colour scheme, the comfort, the features. At first I thought it was kinda pricey but its so worth it. It came with 2 pillows, a stuffed animal, and even a gaming/mouse pad.

It has airplane type arm rests but theyre pretty comfy. The trim is holographic and the top pillow is reversible so one side is purple and one is white and it has a strap buckle that attaches it to the top of the chair.

The chair has a reclining feature to about 160 degrees, not quite 180 but still very nice. The wheels go 360 and they dont get caught on anything. All the hardware has white plastic covers so it still looks very nice.

The seat and arm height are also adjustable. Surprisingly quick and easy to build as well!! I highly recommend it honestly. Despite other reviews mine came clean and packaged well in plastic brand new.
