14 Best Chalice Dungeon Glyphs (2022 Updated)

This is a great starter pack to get your dungeon building up and running. I managed to build 2 small-ish rooms and some corridor, or one large boss arena. Plenty of doors and floor pieces, but I always run out of walls, and it has very few corner wall sections.

It feels sturdy but is light enough to easily carry large builds to the table. The paint job, while not being up to the level of what I could makemyself, looks pretty good overall, even up close. The exterior doors open and close, though are a little delicate.

The interior doors are fixed, though it’s actually really easy to use the exterior ones instead. Overall, I’m very happy with this starter set and am looking forward to adding to my dungeon collection to be able to pre-build entire maps beforehand.

Shop around though, I got this for 40 less than I’ve seen elsewhere.

This is a great system that works well for getting terrain on the table quickly. The tiles are well made and look good on the table. The doors and walls are likewise very easy to place and great for visualizing battlemaps.

There are a few issues with the system. The fist is that even though this set has more tiles than the Town set, it still feels like you need more. With no expansion set specifically for more tiles you will have to buy more of the tile sets in order to really use all of the walls.

The second issue is with the clipping system. The tiles are not very easy to clip in from multiple directions. You really have to think about how you’re going to lay out your battlemap before you begin clipping in tiles, otherwise you will find yourself having to unclip tiles and repositioning them to accommodate new tiles.

You could always, of course, not clip in the tiles and be just fine although you loose some of the sturdiness that the clips bring. One other issue (which will probably be a non-issue for most people) is that these tiles are thinner and of a different dimension than Dwarven Forge tiles which makes combining tile sets a little wonky.

A simple piece of thin cardboard could probably bring the Warlock tiles to the same thickness as the Dwarven Forge floors but don’t expect to easily use DF walls with this system. Again, a little planning will likely be needed when combining tiles across brand.

All-in-all I would say that this is a great buy. I am looking forward to the future expansions and hoping that WizKids brings in more diverse tiles such as odd-shaped caverns and more diversity in wall lengths and sizes.

I was really hoping there would be 5 tiles which clipped on to the other WarLock tiles I owned. But instead there is one light-generating base and five pretty, thin, patterned plastic things which just lay on top.

The one single base does not have holes in the side for clips, so it will just have to sit next to / along side other stuff precariously. Rather disappointed. I was hoping for something which would grow my collection and allow me to make bigger battle spaces.

This is not it. Wish I hadn’t bought it.

Bloodborne is a semi cooperative game for 3-5 players, and generally lasts for about 45 minutes to an hour once you understand the mechanics. The overall theme of the game is that the players are fighting their way through the chalice dungeons in order to get to the final boss.

Along the way players will improve their hand by getting new cards, collect victory points (called Blood Echoes) by dealing damage, and even attempt to sabotage their fellow hunters. Once the final boss is defeated, the player with the highest total Blood Echoes wins.

The Good: Great price point, quick turns, engaging combat, not too mean backstabbing mechanics, and mostly faithful to the source material. The Bad: Nothing too serious though, in my opinion, the relatively low variety of cards and the slow rate at which you acquire them negatively impacts the experience.

The Ugly: Where is Ludwig’s Holy Blade? Where is the Chikage? There are too many iconic weapons and items from Bloodborne that are absent from the base game as well as the upcoming expansion. Considering how long it has taken for CMON to release an expansion, this seems like a problem that may not get fixed.

Overall: Despite Bloodborne: The Card Game’s issues, I have enjoyed my time with it so far. Most people I have taught the game to have asked to play it again, which alone makes it worth the price.

This game is so good I bought it twice! Accidentally. The contents are all of high quality and the game is simple to learn and play. We enjoyed it but not quite what we expected, though making a soulslike board game could be challenging.

As surprising as it may be, Bloodborne translates very well into card game form. This game is excellent at making each run feel different and making each player feel strong. Bloodborne is a semi cooperative game, with each player working towards the same goal, while requiring players to be thinking about how to get themselves ahead.

There can only be one winner. All in all a fantastic transformation of a great video game into a very true to the source material card game.

I bought this to go along with the Dungeon of the Mad Mage board game. I was lucky to only have 2 duplicate figures in the entire bunch, which also wasn’t a big deal for me because in the board game there are multiple miniatures that are present with more than just one copy.

Obviously these boosters have more than just what is included in the board game which is why I think they work well for any collector.

This set has a good variety of figures which all have great sculpts and decent paint jobs. This set includes huge minis as well, which is great since many of the prior sets only had large minis.

I purchased this as well as the board game to have a lot of the minis from this set. I also purchased the hard book and the map pack with extra stuff. I really like this set and the models are pretty cool.

I got a balor which is what I really wanted because the death tyrant comes in the standard board game edition. If you buy a brick of this and have the board game you will most likely have a close to complete set of things.

Minecraft Dungeons was a fun game that I enjoyed playing. Although I admire the charm it has and the time and attention they put into creating, there are certain things I would like to have modified or changed with this game.

The first is that the nine levels are far too short. Only spending 30 minutes on a task instead of a couple of hours isn’t the best deal for a $20 game, and if you have a fully equipped build like I have, you can finish an objective in half the time.

Furthermore, this game requires more diversity and depth. Each level, as well as each level’s sub-levels, include more puzzles to solve.

I love minecraft dungeons. Its my all time favorite game. Some levels are a little challenging on apocalypse mode but overall its so much fun to play. I love searching for the secrets and the chests.

The new tower is a little hard but still fun overall. I love the unique items you can collect and now gift to friends. I have to say if you’ve never played this before I insist that you try it. I might be an adult but this game is awesome.

This game is just poorly mediocre. Definitely not a “real” Minecraft game- there is no building or personal creativity and freedom in this game. It’s just an overhead adventure game based on “quests” and “missions”.

The concept for the game is ok, but the lack of creative freedom Minecraft is known for is what brings it down. So glad I didn’t pay the extra $10 for the bonus content version as this game isn’t really worth the $19.

99 plus tax that I paid for it. I shouldn’t have expected this game to be much after the Minecraft Story Mode flop. Thank God, I still have the real, original Minecraft to fall back on as well as Terraria and Starbound.

I loved this game so much it was on eBay one hour after I started playing it. What’s right with it is more the point. I bought this as it is done by SpikeChunsoft,great DEVS that bought you the 999,and Virtues last reward games, they were great, BUT This is a total waste of time avoid.

What I suggest is the game I bought before this one, called Etrian Odyssey 2, untold story of the Fafnir Knight, NOW THAT IS FREAKING AWESOME,THAT I SUGGEST YOU BUY AND AVOID This pile of dog refuse.

Great music by Yuzo Yoshiro, lots of build and team composition options, charming enemies, some really great bosses, and plenty of content to keep you busy for ages. I don’t know what else you’d want if you like Roguelike games.

This game offers a lot of content strategic gameplay and cute girls to use. While the game is pretty hard its also very fun. People who don’t like difficult games may not like this one.

I love the dark feel of the game. The tutorial is fairly easy though it is possible you can fail if unlucky. From the first level you will have to start managing your characters ailments and mental health and sometimes its just better to pick a new character until you can upgrade your facilities to remove ailments and such.

There are lots of classes and items and skills to upgrade but it takes time and patience and great strategy of how you manage your characters. My only complaint is I wish there were more enemies. If you want to play a game where you kill everything easily this is not the game for you.

Your characters will get diseased , go crazy , have many different mental and physical illnesses. Take them to the brothel , gamble or go to the pub to take off stress , literally. The systems are fairly deep and if you like a a real challenge and deep systems Id give this a try.

Just dont get attatched to that one powerful character(s)you have there are many who you can replace them.

Just boring ..no controlled game play..No true advances. Just repeating same methods over and over.Cant save characters you build up.Game will take over play when losing.

If you have played Dungeon Siege 2 before you will love the expansion Broken World. The combat and spells are enhanced and more complex and there are plenty of new items as well. New classes are available such as Dwarves and Blood Assassins which adds a nice diversity to the species in Aranna.

The new enemies you come across will be sure to suprise you and have some very cool attributes. The expansion also allows you to level up your character further and become even more powerful. Besides the storyline coming to a more satisfying conclusion, the side quests are also a blast and you will find yourself with 15-20 hours of overall new gameplay.

I bought this item on eBay because I was able to get it for twenty percent less than retail. I found it in “New in sealed box” condition, which is very important for a video game (you never know if there’s going to be one little scratch on a used one that prohibits you from playing it on your computer)Broken World is a very good expansion pack to the main game.

Though I don’t like the fact that you had to buy the expansion just to be able to finish the story that began in the main game. All the new features are useful, and the new Dwarf species and character classes are fun to use.

Things that bother me: enhanted item recipes are nice but never worth the expense or effort (i’ve only done this a few times, and I always end up selling it immediately). Pets are stronger than actual characters and with their emanation power it’s a hard decision to drop a pet just to gain a character that never measures up.

Why can’t the secondary ability of the new multiple class character classes gain experience at the same rate as the primary? Though all you have to do is switch between using the primary and secondary once in a while to keep them even.

The story is well thought out and the landscapes are breathtaking as usual. I shall continue buying Dugeon Siege as long as they make new ones.

This is an excellent follow on to Dungeon Siege II. I am still playing this game and have over 50 replays of it which translates into outstanding return on my dollars. Highly recommend this game to anyone who loves to experiment with combinations of tactics and strategies.

By the way I own three copies for my computers and have given at least three as presents!.

I absolutely love Dungeon Siege! Dungeon Siege was given to me as a birthday gift 10 years ago, and it was one of the first PC Role Playing Game that I really got into. The graphics are amazing, the slash-and-hack battle style is fun and entertaining, and the ability to choose how you want to build your team and characters is awesome.

Unlike most RPG’s where you have to pick a class and you are stuck with a preselected set of spells and attacks, Dungeon Siege lets you train whichever skills you want, and find/buy any imaginable combination of spells/weapons/armor! I have played the campaign and online versions of this game at least once a year.

This is one game that never gets old and will always have you coming back for more. I highly recommend this game!.

There are certain areas in the game where my army will scatter even though I have settings on hold ground that unnerve me. It looks cool but is not as I lose control when some of the team is out of sight.

Then some screens are so dark and hard to see I will brighten the screen. I am constantly backing up or putting on the brakes as a result when things get hairy. Plenty of saves keep it from being impossible.

I like it better than DSII or its expansion BW. Other than that I feel it is worth playing through every year or so.

I have been hearing about/seeing Dungeon Siege for quite some time and wanted to start at the beginning. So I bought Dungeon Siege (first in series). It is a few years old, 2002 I believe, but a fun game for anyone who likes: typical party based adventuring, going through dungeons, dispatching monsters, helping out local townspeople, gathering goodies and cash! This game has above-average graphics for a game of its time and runs quite smoothly.

If you have every played the game Darkstone, this one will seem familiar. I recommend for anyone interested in this type of video game genre!.

Dungeon Roll is a fun filler game with using dice rolling / press your luck mechanic. You take the roll of a valiant hero trying to push to the deepest depths of the dungeon and score the most points.

You roll dice to see which heroes can help you in the dungeon. An opponent rolls to see which opponents you face. Hero dice can beat more or less monster dice, IE a 1 Cleric Die can destroy up to 3 skeleton dice.

The further you press your luck the more points you can win, but also you increase your luck of losing them all or facing the dragon! I enjoy this game as a fun filler game but it also teach a more in depth mechanic simply.

So great for a segway to Elder Signs, non-gamers, or young gamers.

box is a bit on the fragile side if u constantly shake it with the treasure tokens inside. card sizes are odd if u want to sleeve the characters, use tarot sized e. g. (elder sign) and trim them down.

game play is fast and best with 2 players alternating between party dice and dungeon dice.

Two of my friends got in on the Kickstarter version of this. Even though I am not into D&D or any sort of Dungeon Crawling RPG or similarly themed game, I play this with them and was highly amused. It is simple to learn, fast to play, and definitely worth the price.

I had to buy one for myself. It is very well suited as that little game, you can easily open up, not take too seriously, and get through quickly, while waiting for the rest of your gaming party to arrive.

The product arrived on time and was exactly as advertised. I have played all the other Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games, and although I am not close to being done with this one, it is very different. Many consider it to be the worst installment in the PMD series, and I can see where that opinion comes from.

That being said, the game’s not bad! They definitely tried some different mechanics with the dungeons and I think that’s cool. My only real complaint about the game so far is that it starts off very slow and there is a lot of un-skippable dialogue that takes a while to get through.

I appreciate how they tried new things in this game, even if not all of those new things ended up being well-received. Glad I didnt pay full price for this game when it was new, because it would have been a disappointment for $40, but buying it for a much lower price online is a good value.

First of all, if you enjoyed any of the previous titles (Red/Blue Rescue – Explorers of Sky/Darkness/Time), you will enjoy this game. The storyline starts out as it did in the previous games – you’re human that’s turned into a Pokémon.

I felt that the plot in this game wasn’t as strong as it was in the Explorers games, yet it is still enjoyable to play. There are a few twists along the way, and also a few memorable characters too. This game gets rid of some crucial elements from the old games, such as the Hunger feature.

This gave the game a sense of realism that is now missing, yet it would certainly make the game more enjoyable for the younger audience. Another bad point about this game is that you are truly restricted with the Pokémon you can get.

There are a few from each Generation before the fifth (literally 3 or 4), and you can’t even get all of the Unova Pokémon! I also felt that there was a lack in dungeons. It is true that there are DLC dungeons coming out.

However, there are only 12 of these, and these don’t introduce many more Pokémon. This game also lacked the Legendary Pokémon bossess from the previous games, with only a few. However, this game introduces a number of new features.

The first is the Magnagate feature, allowing you to use your 3DS’s camera to scan round objects to find new dungeons, which I suppose makes up for the lack of Dungeons in game. However, a mistake they made is that you are given random Pokémon to enter these dungeons with, not ones that are in your team.

This was disappointing, but the feature is still enjoyable. Also introduced in this game is the Pokémon Paradise. This is an addictive feature which allows you to find building materials from completing Dungeons, and using them to build your ultimate Paradise.

In conclusion, I believe that this game is a great addition to the Mystery Dungeon series, but is aimed at a younger audience then the previous titles. Because of this, they have dumbed down the game a lot.

I would still recommend purchasing this title, as I have throughly enjoyed playing it!.

I’m so pleased I managed to get this game at such a good price. No problems with it at all, it works fine and is keeping me entertained. I love the strategic style of gameplay and how each time you play the adventures are always different.

A must for any Pokemon fan. The game arrived neatly packaged too.

I love this game. I purchased this as a replacement for a broken disk. The first thing I must mention is that the graphics are excellent; for the era from which this game was written. It is an old game, out of print, and the graphics are dated by today’s standards, though they were considered quite good when it was released.

Game play is third-person; you look down on your creatures and dungeon from “on high”. You can also possess creatures under your control and play first person, though this is only practical to carry out specific missions.

Probably what appeals to me more than anything else is that it is just fun to be the bad guy. Having played games like Diablo for some years prior it was just simply a blast playing the other side, where you have to protect your evil dungeon from all of those pesky goody-two-shoes heroes.

There is a LOT of really quirky humor woven into the game, such as the very grim warning “Your dungeon is filled with yoghurt”. or at midnight the announcement “‘Tis the witching hour; curses are half price”.

it’s also quite fun to watch your creatures disco dancing in the casino to 1970’s tunes. I have noticed that the game does play best on older computers. It seems that if the system has more than 500MB of memory it gets unreliable.

This may not be true of later releases, but I found it simply runs better on Pentium II era machines. To summarize this is probably the most fun of all the vintage games I have played.

My husband and I have owned at least 5 or 6 copies of this game and fight over it and the poor things end up getting broke, scratched and so forth. I got 3 this time. lol now my kids like it too!! Graphics are amazing for the date of the game, yes adult content but not that bad.

you beat levels by building a dungeon (sort of like Age of Empire build a city)accomplish the task for that level, and then move on to next level. In one aspect it’s another life/simulation game. So matter of taste if you like this.

It’s right up there on the shelf with Age of Empires for us!! Always there, always fun to play if nothing else to do, or bored somewhere with laptop. Shame EA bought the company out, and put breaks on them, DK3 was looking great!.

I have always been a fan of Dungeon Keeper! I use to own the original. When I saw Dungeon Keeper II I knew I just had to have it! It is an awesome strategy game! I purchased this game a time before but cannot locate it.

So I bought another copy. It’s evil but in a good way. ;-).

I love this game. As an admitted “spooky” kind of guy, the idea of being the lead bad guy in a mythical bad place is really appealing to me. Now, don’t get me wrong. It’s not as if I’m evil or anything like that.

I don’t sacrifice animals on an altar or cheat on my taxes, there’s just something about this game that speaks to me. Maybe the power to control goblins and warlocks in this fantasy world helps the psyche after a long week of not being in control of anything in the real world.

Who knows. I bought this game (twice, I might add)because I think it’s well thought out. One can play most of it with only the mouse. It’s difficulty is progressive and its internal tutorial is pretty seamless.

I’ll admit it’s a little buggy here and there and the graphics engine is showing its age a bit, but its replay value is fantastic. It can be played differently each go around. The character types are both creative and funny.

Funny is an integral part of the game. Gallows humor is what this game is comprised of: after all, killing a bunch of do-gooders with a legion of trolls, warlocks and booby traps is not exactly like playing a sesame street game! If you’re looking for an involving and entertaining game that can be played in short spurts and fulfills your need for spookiness, this is the one!.

Action role playing game with many character options. The quests and sub-quests are intriguing enough that you can lose track of time when playing, yet not impossible to solve which make them very enjoyable.

Able to play the game and not have many frustrations as everything seems to have a good logical flow. A lot of fun if you love RPGs.
