I like this brut champagne for special occasions but not a daily drink. It’s very affordable and the bottle looks great for a gift. It’s not for people who don’t like a strong flavor as this champagne does have a slightly bitter, crisp flavor.

Not only is Mumm the perfect Champagne to celebrate with but it is also an amazing choice when pairing with food due to the high proportion of Pinot Noir lending a definite complexity that has become a trademark.
An explosion of freshness in the mouth, followed by strong persistence. The complex aromas of apple, stone fruit and lemon on the palate create a beautifully balanced Champagne with notes of caramel perpetuating the intensity.

It is heavy in cork and seems forced. Very little Pinot noir character, mostly Chardonnay, very yellow and hints of soda infused gas. After six bottles with no different experience, I feel it’s worth telling others to stay away from this if you enjoy the real Mumm thing.
Did I mention that all tasted like they were corked? Very disappointed.

This was a gift to my brother and sister-in-law that covered a 2 week stay helping out while I recovered from shoulder surgery, my brother’s birthday and their wedding anniversary. They really appreciated the gift and anxious to try products they weren’t familiar with.
This is the second bottle of Dom Perignon I have sent them. They have been saving the first one for a real special occasion. My brother joked that if he had two, then they would try the first one and save the other for something real special.
This was my first time ordering from GourmetGiftBaskets. com I live in Australia and needed to organise a nice gift for friends in Northern California. Their Champagne Vasket was perfect, as it allowed me to choose Dom Perignon champagne, which came with quality chocolate truffles and other assorted high quality chocolates.
It was very close to Christmas but their confirmation and tracking systems kept me well informed during the processing of my order and every step to delivery. They managed to get it to the recipients BEFORE Christmas in miraculous time.
The packaging was lovely, and the quality products made it a VIP gift. I have great confidence in – and respect for – this organisation. It is with pleasure that I highly recommending GourmetGiftBaskets.
Everything about this purchase was just perfect! This was a 50th wedding anniversary gift for my cousin and his wife. It was delivered exactly as promised. They were just thrilled with everything in the basket.
The follow up call from Seth in customer service was very much appreciated. This is a company that cares about its customers and both the product and service demonstrate that. I will definitely shop with them again and refer them without hesitation.

It was my husband’s birthday so I decided to buy something a little bit better than our usual fizz and I am so glad I chose this. For a start the cork came out with a satisfying POP without the contents fizzing all over the place.
Small bubbles which effervesced no the tongue for a delightful experience. Slightly sweeter than I was expecting but still really lovely. I couldn’t tell you what grapes it was made from, or what the “bouquet” or “aftertaste” were, we just know we really liked it and will definitely buy it again for a special occasion.
We love Perrier Jouet Grand Brut. It’s the only champagne we buy, but hard to find. If you like a nice, dry champagne you will love PJGB. Total Wine ships quickly so we had our champagne well before New Year’s Eve.
Took a while to choose a Champagne for a celebration and found this one. First created in 1846 and clearly just got better over the centuries. Delicate and well balanced flavourt. Good mix of red grapes dominate with Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier.
You can taste hints of cherry, apricot, ginger and honey. Elegant bottle to round off the perfection!.

Ordered this Giant sized Bottle of fizz for a friends Birthday. The ornamental value of this champagne far out weighs the delicious taste of the boozy bubbles inside the bottle. It takes its pride of place on my friends cabinet in the lounge for all to admire.
The order and delivery experience of this item with The Bottle Club was very positive. Great value for money compared to other retailers selling the same product. Highly recommend this online retailer.
Smoke, toastiness, tar and ripe fruit emerge from the glass in a generous, expansive style. This is a relatively simple Dom Perignon, yet the wine possesses outstanding balance and plenty of harmony.
The tasting begins with a wine that breathes and comes alive in a light, playful spiral, with touches of angelica, coconut, cinnamon, cocoa and tobacco. In the mouth, the wine reaches a state of complex fullness: earthy, smoky and pearly, underscored by the vibrant warmth of peppery spice.
The sensation of intensity develops and melts into a deep, rounded heart, with a fruity, exotic maturity and a slight touch of aniseed. This sensation, almost unsettling, is even more pronounced in the finish, while the notes of spice, still present, remain discreet, with toasted and iodine flavors.
Laurent Perrier La Cuvee Champagne NV 75cl and 2 Flutes in a Special Edition Gift Box which an excellent gift for any occasion. It embodies the typical style of Laurent-Perrier’s wines which represents freshness, elegance and balance, all of which can be found in the Brut year after year.
Chardonnay, is the dominant grape variety in this champagne and its proportion is unusually high for a non-vintage champagne blend, almost double the average. The blend is made of wines from more than 55 crus and between 10 and 20% of reserve wines are used.
The colour is a pale golden hue, with fine and persistent bubbles. The nose is fresh and delicate, showing good complexity with its hints of citrus and white fruit. Laurent Perrier Brut Champagne is a leader in making champagne the ideal aperitif.
It is perfectly balanced, with crisp flavours and finesse.
Every girl loves bubbles, especially when they are pink Why not spoil her for that special occasion. Great for birthdays, anniversaries, engagements, or a treat. Not a harsh taste like some bubbles can be.
Will suite any food, if its to be used for that. Reasonable price. Why not recycle add lights to the bottle after. Makes a lovely decorative bottle light keepsake to remember the occasion.
Possibly my absolute favourite champagne. Definitely one for when you want to celebrate as on the pricier side however worth every penny! Lightweight bubbles, dry rosé – absolutely divine. If you want to splash out you cannot go wrong with this champagne.
Ayala Champagne’s award winning Brut Majeur Non Vintage Champagne has a dosage of 9 grams per litre, this Champagne reveals the delicate nuances of the aromas and the bouquet. Light gold in colour, with a delicate mousse.
The nose unveils expressive notes of citrus, florals and white fruits. Well balanced with a delicate complexity, Chardonnay adds a lively, fresh fruitiness on the palate, whilst Pinot Noir gives the wine richness and length.
On the palate, it is well balanced and shows great finesse and complexity. Pinot Noir grapes gives the wine richness and a long finish while Chardonnay, from the finest soils of the Côte des Blancs, adds delicacy, liveliness and freshness.
Pinot Meunier, mainly from the Marne Valley, gives the wine an appealing fruitiness and roundness. A firm, chalky edge to this mineral Champagne, mouth-watering flavours of candied lemon peel, green apple, crystallized honey and biscuit.
This has an elegant texture and an overall sense of style. Drink now through 2020. Ayala Champagne House is owned by Bollinger.
Spring blossom and smoke notes mix in this lively Champagne, with a creamy bead carrying hints of lemon shortbread, peach and ground ginger. Drink now through 2017. 40,000 cases imported. 90 points, Wine Spectator (Dec 2014) Perrier-Jouet Grand Brut.
is the epitome of brut, the driest style of Champagne. Torrents of small bubbles fill the glass, delighting the eye as they swirl in a platinum-colored wine and delivering a burst of light lemon and biscuit to the nose.
On the tongue the bubbles burst with ultracrisp and invigorating light citrus and buttered toast. The finish is absolutely flinty, bone dry and superb. This is a beautifully crafted Champagne and tastes more expensive than it is, but its extreme dryness may limit its appeal to novice sippers.
Colette & John Bancroft, tbt* Wine of the Week (Apr 10, 2013).
We had a special occasion and decided to have a treat. We made a good choice. This Perrier- jouet was definitely worth the money. A very nice champagne with a slight sweet taste but delicious. A bowl of strawberries and it was perfect.
This definitely made the day feel as good as we wanted it good. A very nice smooth drink. Will definitely purchase again.

Moet Imperial is the House’s iconic champagne. Created in 1869, it embodies the unique Moet Chandon style; a style that distinguishes itself by its bright fruitiness, seductive palate, and elegant maturity.
; Vibrant intensity of green apple and citrus fruit; fresh mineral nuances and white flowers; elegant blonde notes of brioche and fresh nuts; Fresh white-fleshed fruits (pear, peach, apple) and vibrant citrus fruit brought to life with fine, lively bubbles and a bright finish;.
This is the best champagne out there! My husband and I are snobs when it comes to champagne. We buy Moët every holiday and special occasion. It’s worth the $45-$48. Will never buy another brand. Lots of bubbles and fizz that do not die, always bubbly.
Taste a tad sweet but not too much, just perfection! Love it!.
91 points Wine Enthusiast. The non-vintage Clicquot Demi-Sec strikes a nice balance between fruit and sweetness, retaining plenty of fresh fruity acid structure. Like a sparkling Vouvray. Layered finish.

This champagne is refreshingly smooth and creamy. Creates a good atmosphere for the “moody blues. ” I heard about Chandon in Snoop Dog’s Drop it Like It’s Hot. In Jay Z’s lyrics “Ain’t no stoppin the champagne.
” I understand Moet Chandon has been around forever, which is why I tried it. This champagne is on the mildly expensive side, but affordable for a special event. I tasted no bitterness, and has a good amount of bubble, effervescence and low acidity.
I put 4 stars, because there is always room for excellence.
A golden color, distinctive of black grape varieties. Very fine bubbles. On the nose, it has a beautiful aromatic complexity, ripe fruit, and spicy aromas, with hints of roasted apples, apple compote, and peaches.
On the palate, there is a subtle combination of structure, length, and vivacity. The bubbles are like velvet. Flavors of pear, brioche and spicy aromas, notes of fresh walnut. In celebration of over 40 years of partnership as the Official Champagne of 007 and the upcoming film No Time To Die (2020), Champagne Bollinger has produced a limited edition gift box that brings together three icons: Bollinger’s signature Special Cuvée, the Aston Martin DB5 and the legendary British secret agent, James Bond.

I’ve tried numerous bottles and half bottles of Bollinger over the years and never been impressed. It swings wildly from harsh and overly acidic to the bottle I got unusually cheap at Asda. The cheapest deal on Bollinger anywhere, so I thought why not grab a bottle for a nice occasion.
This time it tasted quite noticeably watered-down and bland. Suspiciously watered-down, especially considering the unusually low price. Made me genuinely wonder what kind of special deal Bollinger have made with Asda.
I am not a big champagne fan, finding most of what I have tasted in the past to be highly overrated and wondering what all the fuss is about in having champagne. However my two grownup kids treated me to a bottle of this Bollinger for my 70th birthday recently and I have to say that it is exceptionally good.
I dont know, never having tasted any, whether true vintage champagnes taste anything like this or better, but if they do then I take back everything Ive thought about champagne. This is truly a fine celebratory drink and worth every pound of its price just to enjoy its delicate but special flavour.
For me this champagne is streets ahead of others in its price range. If you are looking for a good champagne, havent tried Bollinger and might be a bit sceptical about champagnes in general, I would highly recommend that you give this one a try Ive just bought another bottle for someones special birthday.
A delicious champagne to suit those who enjoy a lighter flavour profile. It’s all personal preference of course – if you prefer a more brioche, vanilla butter flavour then other brands may better suit.
Bolli however always ticks the boxes for an elegant accompaniment for seafood or as a classy aperitif.
Ruinart, owned by luxury goods conglomerate LVMH (LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton), is the oldest Champagne house. Omni Scottsdale Resort Spa at the Montelucia recently hosted an exclusive one-of-a-kind experience in collaboration with Ruinart.
My husband and I were thrilled when the Montelucia extended an invitation to us. A live demonstration format allowed the guests to sample quality ingredients sourced locally. Executive Chef Marcos Seville served three family-style courses, and Ruinart provided libations.
A custom millwork, hammered brass finish, outdoor herb garden, and a variety of citrus, herbs, and exotic mints adorned the Chef’s Kitchen, an indoor/outdoor space. It was a limited event with a maximum of 24 attendees.
The first wine we tasted was the Ruinart Blanc de Blancs. This is a non-vintage wine (which means it has grapes from multiple years rather than just one year, such as 2012, which had only grapes from 2012).
Approximately 20%-25% of the blend is reserved wine from the previous two years. The soul of Ruinart is Chardonnay since it is the winery’s signature variety. All of their cuvées are composed of grapes from the terroirs of Montagne de Reims and Cote des Blancs.
The 2004 Dom Ruinart Rosé was my favorite among the wines we tasted. I couldn’t believe how delicate, beautiful, and exquisite it was. It may be a while before I can again enjoy such an old vintage of Dom Ruinart, so I treasured tasting this one.
Course after course of creative, delicious dishes, expertly paired with wines by sommelier Jason. Thank you to Montelucia and Ruinart for an unforgettable evening!.
How can you resist this rosé Champagne, with such a delicate taste? And this luxurious packaging? Often too dry, this imperial cuvée from Moët Chandon is the only champagne I can drink. Of course, what the price is, I don’t drink it every month, but from time to time we indulge ourselves in this refined pleasure.
✨🥂 Furthermore I feel proud to say that I have been lucky to live for a few years in the Champagne-Ardenne region in France, and during a trip to Reims I saw all the most prestigious familie’s names of champagne : “Moët Chandon”, “Veuve Clicquot”, “Louis Roederer”, “Nicolas Feuillatte”, “Lanson”, “Bollinger”, “Dom Pérignon”, “Taittinger”, “Piper – Heidsieck”, “Mumm”.
Sooooo this is one of my absolute faves! And NOW, I found it in mini bottles! Yassssss! So much yes! I actually found the case at Costco! These are perfect for when you want sparkling, but don’t want to open a full bottle.
These are also great to pack for picnics, and music in the park. I am so in love with these minis! I’ve been to Chandon about 7 times, and wanting to go back. I also would love to know if there’s any sparkling wines of theirs that I haven’t tried.
I can’t find the sparkling red anywhere? (We serve their bottles at our fine dining restaurant and catering for the intimate dinners weddings. 🥂 🍾.
Champagne, Champagne. Reserva. Alcohol content 13. 0%. Seductive, generous and vibrant, the Moët & Chandon Brut Impérial is the Épernay house’s iconic Champagne. Created in 1869, it embodies the unique Moët style, distinguishable due to its splendid fruit, seductive palate and elegant maturity.
Not surprisingly, Napoleon Bonaparte himself was captivated by this exemplary Champagne. Napoleon made the Moët & Chandon Brut Impérial widely known throughout Europe and the winery decided to call it Imperial in his honour.
Ever since then, the most famous of sparkling wines has successfully kept its essence unchanged, maintaining a balance and regularity that very few can match. This means that whenever you uncork a bottle of Impérial you always find the same quality and a recognisable style, the result of a time-honoured expertise which has been passed on from one chef de cave to another until reaching Benoît Gouez, the current guardian of the Moët & Chandon Impérial’s magical formula.
The collaboration between Dom Perignon and Lady Gaga marks the encounter of two creative forces. The design of this limited edition, rippling and shifting, is itself a visual ode to creativity. This Limited Edition unveils another facet of the collaboration between Dom Perignon and Lady Gaga and features Vintage 2010 in an exclusive and creative case.
The 2010 Dom Perignon is already expressive, wafting from the glass with aromas of crisp green apple, peach, iodine, freshly baked bread, orange oil and smoke. Medium to full-bodied, pillowy and charming, it’s soft and round, with ripe acids, a moderately concentrated core of fruit and a pearly mousse, concluding with a saline finish.
Open-knit and pretty, this is a giving Dom Perignon that readers might think of as reminiscent of a less reductive version of the 2000 vintage.
This wine is from France, Champagne region. The base blend is identical to Brut Yellow Label, with an addition of 12% of red wine from vineyards in the Montagne de Reims. A luminous color with attractive pink glints, an elegant nose with initial aromas of fresh red fruit leading to brioche notes.
This was a gift. The selection, web site ease of use, the delivery as per request were all excellent. Very nice way to deliver an item for a special occasion! I shop at Total Wine at home and have always found the same friendly customer service and a fantastic collection of spirits and accoutrements.
Trying this gifting service for the first time based on my prior excellent experiences did not disappoint! Thanks to Total Wine’s super customer service!.
Wafting from the glass with notes of pear, peach, ripe citrus fruit, toasted almonds, fresh pastry and white flowers. Medium to full-bodied, pillowy and textural, it s concentrated and layered, with lively acids, an enlivening pinpoint mousse and a long, sapid finish.
I bought this for my boyfriend’s 30th birthday and we so enjoyed it! Initial notes of oaky vanilla and honeyed raisins open up to a bright, clean finish with grassy green apple and grapefruit. The play across the palate is beautiful, and it’s fantastically bubbly.
We bought many bottles for client gifts and the holidays. All who sampled the Roederer Brut Premier NV really enjoyed this bubbly including a few friends I consider to be wine snobs. I actually bought cases of three different types of champagne in the $40 to $60 per bottle range before volume discount and this was my clear favorite of the three all of which had ratings in the 90’s.
Dom Perignon 2010 vintage puts back into sequence the vintage release of this prestigious champagne, following the release of the 2008 after the 2009 vintage. The bouquet on the nose is immediately radiant with the sweetness of tropical fruits – green mango, melon, pineapple.
This is followed by more subtle notes of orange zest and hints of mandarin. As you allow the wine to breathe, its freshness is revealed. Like the fragrance of flowers after rain, you get the tactile sensation of peony, jasmine and lilac.
The wine has a rich, full and ample presence. It is dominated by juicy ripeness. It’s generous, firm and assertive on the palate, and evolves into vibrant spiciness and peppery notes. Its vivacious character extends to reveal a salty finish.
The bottle comes presented in a black gift box with the distinctive Dom Perignon badge.
Once upon a time, many moons ago, I had a very wealthy friend who worked in the public service. That’s a government job, in Australia. We lived in a magical city of immaculate roads and scenic parks.
Rumour had it that political leaders lived here. My friend, the wealthy public servant did something with computers and IT. It was a little bit like The IT Crowd. Not much actual work. couldn’t be sacked.
Lots of fat pay packets. Anyway, he decided to buy a stonkingly #bougie bottle of this fine French Champagne and also decided that I – a lowly assistant store manager in a retail prison- would be allowed to have some too.
Readers, I have never tasted anything quite so regal. So French. So bloody expensive. I regret to inform you that I will never again suckle from the fat pay checks of IT types. But at least I managed to grab the bottle and chug some when he went to the lavatory.
That will teach him for taking his eyes off the bolshie commies such as I.
I no longer drink champagne like I used to. But the 1996 Dom Perignon was by far, the best. Yes, it was a pricy bottle. But for those special occasions, you could not go wrong with this vintage. The bubbles were light, refreshing.
The taste of crisp Granny Smith apples. Even someone who doesn’t drink, nor appreciate champagne could appreciate the crisp taste of this dom. I loved it. I miss it. The flavor was impeccable.
