After reading a lot of reviews and looking the site over I decided to purchase and install the long range repeater. First of all I have about 500ft to go with a few trees and a house between my site and the barn I was going to.

I installed the antenna and pointed it towards the house. very weak signal, I then took my router outside and pointed it towards the barn. Now I have 50% plenty to run u-tube or anything else I need.

Looking the situation over I feel it’s very very important to have a good router , I have a RT AC86U it gave me over 200ft without anything also router placement is important. My only issue I had setting up was I was trying to use my router password and should have been my wifi password.

Once I corrected my mistake everything took off. I am very happy with the system, now to get my security cameras set up and going.

Used the system for about 3 months then it stopped working. Everyone I talked to at the company told me to try something different. I sent the system in for a replacement. They sent me another one that doesn’t work.

They will not refund me but will be happy to send another replacement! I have had no internet now in my Airbnb for months. Waste of money! Customer service treats you like a child.

Installed approximately 500 feet away from the house on my shop building. I have direct line of sight with no obstructions, and it works very well. I am now getting around 15Mbit internet at my shop while I get 45Mbit at the house.

This is a repeater, so loss of speed is expected. I am very pleased and highly recommend this product.

This is the third router I’ve purchased trying to maintain reasonably fast signal within all corners of our approx. 2500-2750 sq. ft home, with a reliable connection for over 25 regular clients on the network, and upwards of 10 or more guest devices during peak family visits.

Also needed something that would extend to our detached garage, approx. 40′ from the router, with exterior walls in the line of sight between the router and inside the garage. In the house on the same floor, speeds are reaching 400-500 mbps, upper and lower floors are seeing 100-200 mbps, and the garage is achieving 25-75 mpbs depending on the location in the garage, plenty to stream YouTube video on the TV.

User Interface for setup and management of the router has a number of advanced tweaking functionality, but includes a basic mode for unfamiliar users, making it super easy to setup and manage for anyone.

Bonus, AX model router supports TP-Link Mesh networking, whereas the upgrade model the AX50 and 55 don’t currently support it. Just something to consider, as the mesh setup may not be on your list of needs.

Short review – This is a “mid range” wifi 6 (ax) router that will work and exceed most people’s expectations for its price. Details – This is a wifi 6 router, which means it supports the new wifi convention ax, the previous ones were known as ac, n, g which have now been renames as wifi 5, 4, 3.

This means that newer devices that are wifi 6 compatible will really benefit from the new tech which will clear up any congestion on your home network. But if you are using older devices that only have an ac wifi card in your device, do not worry, ALL wifi 6 routers are rated for backwards compatibility.

With Wifi 6 , it also comes with MU-MIMO technology, which in laymans terms means you will be getting much better stable connections between all your devices. The 1800 in the ax1800 stands for up to 574mbps on 2.

4ghz channel and 1201 mbps on 5 ghz channel. Frankly I am not sure what the difference between the Archer AX20 vs AX21, since both are listed as Archer AX1800. This might just be something to differentiate between retailers.

As far as I can tell on their website the specs are the same across the board. Ethernet ports are rated for gigabit, so thats going to be plenty for most of residential users. The USB port is unfortunately only 2.

I have this placed in a central location in the house, coming from from a dual band ac600 (300/300) router, I am getting amazing speeds, but importently I am getting 5-4 bars in all 7 rooms in the house, 4 on the same level as the router, with 2-3 walls in between, and the 3 rooms in the basement.

I am slowly getting more wifi 6 devices, such as my smartphones, laptop (you can easily upgrade wifi cards in your laptops), ps5 and I am getting amazing wifi speeds. I pay for the 1000 mbps internet service, and at best I was getting around 450 on the 5ghz channel about 10 feet away, with one wall.

Now on the TP Link AX20, I am now getting 800-900 on the 5hz channel about 10 feet away with one wall.

It does extend the signal quite well and gives me full bars on the other side of the house. The problem is that About every 10 seconds, there is a second of no communication. This isn’t a huge problem if you’re streaming a video as you can buffer the video quite a ways out even if you get a second of interruption.

It is, however, hugely problematic if you video conference as the feed is constantly skipping a second for every 10 seconds. The worst problem is the customer service. It’s comically bad.

Receiver does not work. Try a second one and that also does not work.

Same solid quality Traxxas has been known for in this transmitter. The Bluetooth capability in this newest transmitter is a wonderful and necessary feature for programming settings into the rc car reciever.

It’s great having telemetry data on speed, volts and temperature from the car displayed onto my cell phone. A must when using LiPo batteries. Only bad feature so far is battery compartment only accepts “AA” batteries.

Previous transmitter models had the ability to use rechargeable 3 cell receiver pack batteries. Sure beats disposable alkalines. Do not use 1. 2volt rechargeable NiMh batteries as suggested in the instructions.

These are too low voltage. Definitely don’t use the new LiPo “AA” batteries. These hold a steady voltage till the end then they just quit unlike the slow voltage drop continuously with alkaline. Spend the money and use alkalines!.

Can I give this price tag 10 stars? No? Well Darn!!!! Been driving my Rustler through my legs in fresh powder at 35 MPH! At Midnight. My Wife Watched knowing Her Stock Rustler can Not Do This. Neighbor came outside to record video for the police.

Very nice controller. It is the cheapest on the market and comes with everything you see here. It does not come with a back cover but that is the least of your worries. I have bought two and they are both fantastic.

This was an awesome buy and you don’t have to update it at all when you get Traxxas Stability Management (TSM) and the third channel is so nice if you want the Traxxas On Board Audio (OBA) or if you want it for lights, which I have done before and it works great.

This is the best and cheapest controller on the market and it is a must buy. Hope this helps. :).

The TP-LINK AC600 USB adapter’s super high gain more than compensates for its larger size than those thumb-drive sized adapters. Still small enough to fit into the side pocket of my laptop carrying case.

Easy installation of drivers from the included DVD. My only problem was at first I appeared to have no greater WiFi signal strength (zero bars) than I did prior to installing and mounting the adapter.

I subsequently discovered that my Windows 10 OS laptop default selection was the internal WiFi. In discovering and selecting WiFi 2, the AC600, my laptop had phenomenal WiFi range. There was nothing in the provided installation instructions mentioning the need to select WiFi signal sources.

This device actually works really well. The wireless is reliable and the setup was flawless for a windows PC. The problem is the design. It is back heavy which makes the connections to the port fail.

Makes it seem like it’s on but it isn’t. I have resorted to using something, rubber band or whatever, to make the connection reliable. Once that is in this works well and is worth the money. I recommend to anyone who needs a cheap wireless ac adapter and has a little macgyver in them.

I purchased two. The first installed very easily and over came the problem that the internal wi-fi had in dropping the signal. This is much improved. Installation was very easy and no issues. Because of that I purchased a second.

The installation was not so easy. Can’t say as to why but it would not find the device and having found it would not find a router. After getting the latest down load from the web site (used the CD installed software first) it was okay.

Again, over the nano dongle used before the Archer T2U Plus with the antenna worked better either with the antenna vertical or horizontal and at the back of the PC. It is 5GHz only so some older routers wont be found.

2/14/20: Rockforce Rockville 384 DMX Controller Open Box unit with usb led light & power cord. Great find if you are in the market for a good muti function beginner DMX controlling unit. I found it solid and not too big or too small.

I didn’t want a rack mount unit. I installed some rubber feet on the bottom to keep it from slipping around. The power cord is oddly short. The buttons and slides are acceptable. I’m not a pro. Works for me.

When I first turned it on, I pushed a bunch of buttons. Then I had to reset back to factory default and start over as I got serious about the programming of scenes and chases. The documentation was fine but I had to read it three times and reference it about ten more times.

I added wireless dmx tx/rx to it, nice! Looking forward to years of use with this metal body and rubber handled ends. tip: the music sound sync function only works with a chase set up. I clapped my hands too much before I figured that out :).

This an outstanding DMX controller, especially for the price! It’s very well built and sturdy, and is very easy to use. I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for an inexpensive DMX controller that is capable of running any lighting system.

Must be just about the cheapest configurable computer transmitter available now. It has its drawbacks but also it’s good points. Cons:- Uses the outdated AFHDS protocol which has limited support by firmware developers so it’s pretty much as-is.

No extra chanels, no extra features. Failsafe feature which is pretty important to ensure no flyaways of aircraft etc. seems to be either limited or not available as far as I can see. Pros:- Well obviously the price is good and it feels nice to hold and operate unlike the little ‘toy’ controllers supplied with many RTF models.

Setting up the controller and setting up models is simple and quick and reasonably effective with endpoint, subtrim etc. Quick to learn for newcomers to RC. Scroll wheel type navigation control is very quick and easy to use.

It works! There is much more info to read but this will do for me. I’m happy with the unit and have no complaints for the price I paid.

A good transmitter works well but the manuel could be more user friendly!

I restore older RC Models. All my RC cars use the same receivers this allows me to use only one transmitter. It is a good product has good range light weight and no antenna sticking out of the model.

the more RC models I get will be upgraded to the tactic TR325 receiver.

can’t go wrong on the price and quality, very happy with it. will work with any 3 channel RC situation. it’s not ARRMA specific.

It works well but my signal strength is just a little less than my old one. My system is old, so I guess that plays into the whole equation. The instructions were confusing though. Dire warnings about not plugging in until the driver was installed from the mini cd that came with it.

Turns out it’s plug and play. I tried to use the cd and it fell inside my vertical DVD drive. Some issue with my machine, but it wouldn’t have happened if I didn’t insert the CD unnecessarily. The only real issue therefore is the instructions and that’s minor.

W ent from 35 mbps to 135mbps. Installation varied from instructions a little. Even tho program never indicated installed, I went ahead and plugged adapter to my computer and worked great. Caution installation disk is a mini disc.

Awesome! Got the job done. Had to follow directions, plug up, then unplug Desktop from modem, etc. Great item. It worked!!! It works. I would recommend. I appreciate it. Good price! Run the disc. It worked.

Junk, I rarely write a review unless something is really good, or in this case really, really bad. My trusty WRT54G running dd-wrt died, only needing a base model router I bought this. I have some old stuff that only uses the 2.

4 spectrum, the router worked for about an hour then started dropping packets, yes I did a power cycle coupled with a reload, then for grins I changed channels, all for naught. Shortly after this the 5G segment that we use for our Google Pixels started doing the same thing.

That was enough for an evening. Back to walmart we went, returned this and bought a real router. So for about $20 more I have a Netgear R6120 that has not dropped one packet in either spectrum, plus I have better range.

Save your money, don’t buy junk.

Beats Netgear by a mile, no stupid app, no online account and dead easy to use. Great router, and great price. Highly configurable for a consumer router. Fully supports bridge mode which merges WAN/LAN ports and disables NAT.

I bought this to connect to a Raspberry Pi I put a cellular card and home data sim into, rather than a regular modem. Setup for that specific use case is as easy given some basic knowledge of NetworkManager.

On the router, go to WAN settings, check bridged as type, pick a static IP from the cellular LAN for it’s new address, and set the cellular modem as default gateway and set appropriate subnet mask. On the computer, bridge appropriate network adaptors.

Use a whole home hotspot data plan, DO NOT use a phone plan. This router also supports acting as a repeater or WiFi to Ethernet receiver.

This was my first wifi system ever after moving out of my parent’s house and it was easy to set up. buying it outright means I didn’t have to rent the modem/router from xfinity and it saved me some coin (14$) on my monthly payment.

Make an account with xfinity then set up the router, and you’ll connect the router to your account through the xfinity app if you have iPhone (idk for android) and after it’s on and connected to xfinity, you have to download the app for the router mention in the instruction manual, and enter the details of the router into that app as well.

then, it is ready to work. I struggled with getting the names and passwords assigned to the internets on my account, like I’d have 3 names pop up in my phone’s wifi settings, two being 5g and one being 2.

4g, and I had to be on 2. 4g to make edits to the router settings but when I’d switch from the 5g to 2. 4g (not cellular) it would throw my connection in the trash 30 seconds after I connected. so I had to work fast to delete the guest network and cement a password into the 5g setting of the router’s app.

it gave me more trouble by not having a 5g page in the app to edit at all so I had to make the guest 5g just to edit the regular 5g. it was a little bit of running around and I suggest when you set it up originally, don’t confuse your networks or passwords.

I have them cooking smoothly now and my signal doesn’t drop or fade. It’s great for my small space. big houses might want a wireless access point upgrade but dorms, apartments, small houses and it’s fine by itself but your experience may vary.

using an internet speed test from google will help you see what your signal does behind closed doors or walls and is a great free diagnostic tool. my last bit of information that I had to claw and bite for on the internet is that this WiFi Cable Modem Router is a standalone unit.

You connect it to the wall with a coax cable (xfinity gave me one but you might have to buy one) and after you have an account with your Internet Service Provider (xfinity for my area) then this box will do all the work unless you choose to add extra bits.

It is a modem, router, access point, and has 4 switched connection points onboard. It’s pretty dang space conscious and I am happy with my purchase.

Netgear really keeps the compation on their Toes. They are always developing the most up-to-date product on the market. This is why I haven’t bothered using anything else on the market. You don’t stray from a top of the industry leader to a third rank hopefully it might be good enough company.

Every time I suggest switching from what they are using to a Netgear product, they just can’t believe what a difference it has made for them. No more connectivity issues or dropping connections during the most inconvenient times, when they needed to be connected the most.

If you are having issues getting to the internet and are just feed up it all. Do yourself a huge favor and switch to Netgear, you won’t regret it in the least. But on the other hand, you live for frustration and thrive on it.

Then you shouldn’t switch. If you’re one of those people who have more money then you know what to do with and enjoy paying a monthly fee to rent from your provider, then this wouldn’t be something you would be interested in getting.

On the other hand Most all of the Major Internet Companies, support Netgear products, even suggest using them, if your tired of renting. Basically it’s a no brainer.

Well, I thought about it for awhile and then I just went ahead and bought it. I took it in to get registered at the cable store mac number registration counter and put in the time hooking and unhooking, typing in passwords, and calling, and in the end it was just incredible.

Oh! The applause we got! We did a two minute unplugged power cycle and subsequently were connected on all levels of the universe! I will save approximately $168 a year and be thankful to the online community (who we should all be thankful for) for my new dual-band connectivity.

And wouldn’t you know it, it was another funny pet video on YouTube, and I was on my way. I don’t upload, though, I’m not that sort of citizen. I like my router flexibility to be quasi-metaverse social.
