Chappelle’s Show is a satirical sketch comedy television series created by Dave Chappelle. The show ran for two seasons on Comedy Central and became one of the network’s highest-rated shows. Each episode featured a number of sketches, some of which were pre-taped and others which were improvised on the spot.
One of the show’s most popular sketches was “The Racial Profiling Experiment”, in which Chappelle played a black man who was stopped and searched by police officers for no apparent reason. The sketch satirized the practice of racial profiling by police officers and the way that it disproportionately affects people of color.
Other popular sketches included “The Mad Real World”, in which Chappelle played a character who was fed up with the hypocrisy and drama of the reality television show The Real World, and “Charlie Murphy’s True Hollywood Stories”, in which Chappelle told stories about his encounters with famous celebrities like Prince and Rick James.
The show was praised for its sharp, biting satire and Chappelle’s performances. However, it was also controversial, and some sketches drew criticism for being insensitive or offensive. In one sketch, Chappelle played a white man who was trying to learn how to be black.
The sketch was criticized for its use of black stereotypes and for its suggestion that race is something that can be changed or learned.
Despite the controversy, Chappelle’s Show was a critical and commercial success, and it cemented Chappelle’s reputation as one of the most talented and provocative comedians of his generation.

David Chappelle is a successful comedian, screenwriter and actor. Chappelle’s laid-back yet socially attuned style of comedy has made him a favourite among all ages and races. In 2003, Dave partnered with the COMEDY CENTRAL to launch his own sketch-comedy series called ‘Chappelle’s Show’, where he takes on American culture from the streets to the ‘burbs and all things in between.
Originally aired on HBO, America in 2000, ‘Killing Them Softly’ is without a doubt one of the funniest standup specials available. You’ll never laugh more than you will here. Comedy doesn’t get any this!.
Dave Chapelle is at his raunchy best before an appreciative audience filling the seats of San Francisco’s Fillmore. His ease in the stand-up setting is apparent as he moves fluidly from subject to subject, aided by the colorful language for which he is known.
Decidedly not politically correct and packed with shock value, the material covers crackheads, Michael Jackson, and the comedian’s experiences at Disneyland with his kids, among other things. Chappelle here ventures even farther into the realms of the risqu than he does on Chappelle’s Show.
First time i saw this was on the telly, and i saw about half of it and it was hilarious, so i knew wright away i had to get the full episode on DVD. It is so damn funny! This guy is a great comedian on the highest level.
And it’s a “gotta have” for all dave chappelle or comedy liking folks! P. S. A great way of exercizing your Abs. BebaMontenegro.
Dave is loose and funny and looks at the world with a funny perspective. Not Richard Pryor, since Dave had an easier life, but he has Pryor’s ability to hold life up to us and show us why it is funny.
Also, like Pryor, he is not afraid to show us the humor where many would be timid about a subject. He has a clear view of his path at a very young age, many of us are not there yet, and that helps him stay true to his craft, and not hold back on any subject.
I worked all summer with staff who spent a great deal of time repeating many of Dave’s skits, and I want all his DVDs now. I can’t wait to see what else he does.
Rendя is an innovative and revolutionary paper, which allows you to use your sketchbook, pad or roll 100% for the first time. Doesn’t bleeding or show through, you can really use each side. Suitable for almost every medium, with which you would like to work.
A 180 g/m² heavy weight, acid and lignin-free paper. Patented technologyя – marker paper 2. 0 – no bleeding show-through.
The paper is amazing, nothing bleeds through to the other side. This is the only paper I have ever found that you can do alcohol marker drawings on both sides. Also takes light wet washes fairly well.
The paper is overall smooth but not as smooth as most marker paper, however still takes markers beautifully (I think that that was what it was primarily made four). However the binding on the sketchbook is beyond frustrating.
The fact that render calls this a lay flat sketchbook just makes me irate. Look closely at the image of the open sketchbook, it is not a photograph it is a very reattached image. There is so much glue between the pages that keeping the sketchbook open at all is a challenge.
There are lots of lay flat sketchbooks out there, I don’t know why render has such a hard time with this. There’s nothing about the sketchbook that is lay flat.
Paper: 5/5 Experience: 1/5 This review is for the hardbound sketchbook, NOT the lay-flat sketchbook, which I HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you want to try this paper. The hardbound sketchbook is incredibly stiff and hard to use.
I cheaped out and grabbed the hardcover, simply because the paper sizes were bigger and it had more pages. I advice spending the extra money for a lay-flat version, simply for ease of use, even if the paper sizes are smaller! This paper will absolutely not bleed through.
And I don’t mean to the next page, but on the back of the page, either. It’s actually quite incredible. I took alcohol based markers and did a stress test, and I think I wasted a whole lot of ink to prove their point – you turn the page over and there’s NO trace of ink on the other side.
You truly can draw and color on both sides. This feature isn’t free, though – you are spending the money for it, and the paper doesn’t feel like normal paper. My markers tend to blend oddly on it, not like they would on a smooth bristol.
Whatever they added to the paper to make it bleed-proof MIGHT mess with your coloring techniques, but for a sketchbook, it’s nice to have every page in full color. Again though, please skip the hardcover and grab the lay-flat.
I might arrange a return with Blick for the lay-flat one instead, because the hardcover is almost impossibly hard to use.
Honestly ive drawn for over 15 years now and this sketchbook has so many flaws that i cant see artists really wanting to use this. I can only do one layer of color with my copics before i see all this spoltchy texturing throughout the color.
It makes the surface colored look like if a crayon was a marker and colored over it. I dont know why so many white spots pop up when coloring it but it just throws off the texture of my works and makes the blending look horrible.
I will say that it 100% does not show through the paper but its very frustrating and dissapointing to use. For me its not even worth buying if i feel like its lowering my art quality. Sketching on this is also irritaing in that it doesnt pick up pencil very well at all.
Itd say this is a better sketchbook for ink or paints maybe but ive hated using it with my copics. Would not reccommend to other copic artists for sure.

This is the sketchbook I recommend to all of my Elementary Art students in 3 schools. Many students and this sketch book stays together if treated as a sketchbook and not a baseball bat. I have noticed some sketchbooks are not coming with a folder pocket in the front of the book.
That is the feature I liked the best. If you can pick this book up with a folder pocket in the front. this is the best choice for my elementary Art students to keep their things organized. It can be used for multiple years and I recommend NOT tearing out Art work so you can go back and see your work as a true sketch diary! I send all of my students to buy this particular sketchbook because if its size, excellent price and spiral Binding! I should get a discounted price since I sent so many familes to buy this product at their local Wallmart! This is the one Parents! 81/2 by 11 inches or 9 by 12 Spiral bound.
I’ve been using this brand ever since they were Academie Sketchbooks, so about 12 years. It is the best bang for your buck. The paper quality is excellent and will not tear or crinkle under the pressure of an eraser (unless you take a grainy one or a pink pearl to it, but that’s with any sort of paper).
The perforated edges make removing pages easy and painless. You can use it for markers just fine, but I recommend having a bleed sheet under it. The pages will absorb the ink with no trouble at all. I haven’t tried the sheets for painting, but the same should be true for it.
Unless it’s watercolor, which will wrinkle any paper besides heavy sheets anyway. And you can’t beat that price with a stick. So long as you take care of the sketchbook as if it were your baby, it will last you as long as you need it.
I could go on and on, but I’ll just leave off saying, forget the expensive ones. This is all you need. — 1st year art teacher and artist of 23 years.
This is a good quality sketch book and will work perfectly for my son’s art class. What is great is it arrived so quickly! When I looked into ordering through other sites it was going to take so long to get here and we could not wait that long.
These sketch pads feature 50 lb. micro-perforated, opaque sheets with medium tooth. Media can be easily blended and erased well on the paper surface. Combining performance with value, they were designed to appeal to beginners and students.
I was not expecting much from this sketchbook, mostly because the paper weight is way too thin for wet media. I think the minimum should be 190-200 gsm. I haven’t really tried other mixed media papers, but for an affordable option, this is great.
Water-based markers like Crayolas glide across the paper without much streaky appearance. Alcohol markers don’t work for many papers, including this, very fast bleedthrough. I primarily dabble in watercolor, and thought I could use this for wet-on-dry sketches, and it works decently but the warping is quite annoying, even clipped down.
It works well with watercolor pencils, the color fully dissolves unlike another WC paper I have that is too textured. Just like their XL watercolor paper, the sizing makes paint and marker ink hard to layer.
With their XL watercolor paper, I could just prewet both sides of the sheets and pat it dry so it absorbs more, but this paper is too weak and thin to handle a lot of water. Overall, pleasing somewhat smooth texture and holds up to the mediums stated above.
I personally have owned so many Canson Sketchbooks that I have lost track and now I have passed down the love of their quality to my daughter who’s a budding sketch artist that draws mostly people. She was so very excited to see that she had gotten not One but Two Canson XL Sketch Pads! The only thing she doesn’t like is she prefers the ring to be on the side and not the top, but she said that doesn’t change the quality of their paper and durability of the sketch pads.
We are definitely looking forward to purchasing more Canson Brand in the future!! As a Poetry Writer on Instagram I love using my Canson Pad to be able to jot down my thoughts wherever I am and sketch something with those thoughts that may perhaps turn into something extra later on! So a big shout out and thank you to Canson for being our family brand!! 5 ★★★★★.
The mixed media pads I purchased are a 9th birthday gift for my grandson. He’s prolific and is drawing all the time. It’s exciting for his parents and this grandmother, who is a former art teacher and artist, to see.
He’s been using 9″X12″ pads and I thought it would be interesting to see what he creates on a larger format so I included the 11″X14″ size. His current media of choice is pens, markers and colored pencils.
Check out the hands,. stance and the shading on the attached figures. It’s fun to be included in #sweepstakes. Whatever the future holds for this young artist it’s sure to include a lot of art materials purchased from Dick Blick!.
Traditional lace-up closure for an adjustable and custom fit. Supple leather upper. Padded tongue and collar for added protection and support. Ventilated lining for ultimate comfort. Memory foam cushioned removable footbed for all-day comfort.
Shock-absorbing midsole. Pull tab at the heel for easy on and off. Slip-resistant nitrile rubber traction outsole. Eh safe rated astm f2413-05. Slip resistant sole tested with astm f1677-96 mark ii standards to meet or exceed a.
The name of this shoe — Trickle — is terrible for such a comfortable shoe. I work in a big-box store, walking and standing on cement floor all day. These are the most comfortable work shoes I’ve ever had.
The memory foam insoles, plus the thick, firm soles provide excellent cushioning. I add a 3/4 length orthotic for metatarsalgia. I also have a pair of Skechers Max Cushioning Elites. While both styles are well cushioned, I prefer the firmer platform sole of the Trickle.
The Elite sole is softer and a bit squishy, as if walking on sand. I can’t speak about durability because I’ve only had the shoes two weeks.
I really needed the shoes for working. I can never find my size. There must be lots of people out there with large thin feet! Lucky I found someone at last who could order me these shoes. Most people told me they were just out and I would have to come back.
One person even told me hey did not make the shoes anymore. I hope more people are shown how to order shoes that aren’t on the shelf. This was very helpful.
Been suffering painful feet for so long now wearing our works safety shoes, they may be fine, but my feet have many problems and since wearing these shoes my feet have got much worse, spoke to a lady who told me she had foot problems but always wore these shoes at work and wouldn’t wear anything else as they were so comfortable! So I purchased exact same pair and I can’t believe the difference in my feet! I am on my feet for many hours and these are so comfortable and light yet supportive.
I go home and my feet do not hurt anymore. it feels like I have new feet! Amazing shoes for work and I would not wear anything else now but these! Highly recommend 100%thankyou skechers!!.

Dave Chappelle is a comic genius. He pokes fun at racial stereotypes, drug use, relationships, and popular culture. Issues that remain on our minds are readily discussed in these short sketches. Dubbed “Racially offensive” by Dave himself, The Best of Chappelle’s Show reminds us NOT to take ourselves too seriously! This is a must see!.
Record your sketches and ideas in this attractive, black hardcover sketchbook. The durable, embossed cover has the look and texture of natural grain leather. Filled with 108 sheets of white, 65-lb. , acid-free paper.
1 Book – 108 Sheets. High quality artist paper for independent work. Ideal for crayon, pencil, pen and ink, charcoal, paint and more. Hard cover, acid-free paper. Great for use at home or in the classroom.
These notebooks are very well made and look really nice. The paper is of a good quality. The binding is strong. The hardcovers are strong and elegant. These are definitely quality sketchbooks that I will continue to buy in the future.
This paper stands up to a lot of abuse. At least my degree of abuse. I mostly use pencil and markers on my paper. certainly holds up to both, though the markers will bleed through and you have to place a thicker bit of paper between the pages so it doesn’t bleed through to the second page.
But otherwise the paper takes the marker really well! I like that it is affordable because I go through them pretty quickly so I keep some on hand, a sketchbook stockpile! :3 It’s good for quick studies and more intensive practices.
The binding is soild, more so than a lot of other sketchbook brands I’ve bought. Some just fall apart at the end of their use, and don’t look so great to display on the coffee table for guests to view through.
But the cansons always look right and tight. I really do enjoy this paper, and the binding, I think for the price these are excellent sketchbooks. their watercolor papers are pretty good too, as well as affordable.
This is a nice sketchbook! The cover and binding are very sturdy and it travels well. I mostly use it for studies and preliminary drawings. The paper has a nice, fine texture and takes pencil very well (both graphite and colored pencil).
It’s great for detail work/fine lines. The paper is a tad thin; very dark colors might slightly show through, especially if applied heavily to the opposite side of the paper. I know some other reviews mentioned that they use wet media with this, but I can’t see myself doing that.
the paper is very thin. Wet media like watercolor and marker bleed right through it and warp the paper. I would highly recommend this for anybody who wants a nice white paper sketchbook for dry media.
Actor, writer and comic Dave Chappelle loads up a bus with residents of his Ohio hometown and takes them to Brooklyn, N. Y. Once there, the travelers enjoy a concert featuring Kanye West, the Fugees, Big Daddy Kane and others.
Rehearsal footage and Chappelle’s brand of comedy enliven the proceedings.
Iconic design and premium materials fuse with innovative Skechers Performance technology to achieve the ultimate in comfort and style. Skechers On the GO Flex – Ashore boasts a slip on casual boat shoe design with Air Cooled Goga Mat insole.
Skechers’ boat shoes are my favorite, and I have several variations in different colors. I own the Un Mar shoes in both beige and black. They are very comfortable and just stylish/dressy enough to wear to work.
I have found, however, that the Un Mar variety are longer? than the others. When I walk, there is excess space in the foot opening, and I feel like it flaps open and closed around my feet as I walk. None of the other types of boat shoes are like this.
Had I known, I would have exchanged them for a 9. 5 wide instead of a 10 regular. If you are somewhat between shoe sizes, I would size down in this way. The width feels fine.
Really like the Skechers shoes, but I know that not every Skechers shoe is going to fit me. The shoe is really cute and comfortable as long as I wear socks because, for me the distance of the vamp (upper part of the shoe) to the heels opening is too long for me.
Consequently, my foot does not stay inside the shoe when I walk. This is okay during these cold days because I wear socks, but, when the warmer weather hits, it doesn’t look like I’ll be wearing them and that’s too bad because you don’t even feel like you’re wearing shoes when you have them on.
Also Skechers always sends a thank you and makes you feel valued. I would recommend this brand. I would also recommend this shoe with my results of wearing it.
I wrote a review on these shoes about 21 days ago under Lisa W. I now have to review again because I think the shoes I ordered were not the same as the more comfortable ones I purchase 1 year ago. The insole of my older shoes say Goga Max.
The new ones say Goga Mat and believe me there is a difference. The Black/grey in the Go flex Ashore look exactly like my older shoes but the insole is different. If you look at the description of the Skechers Go Walk Lite – Isla with Goga Max insoles that is what my older shoes are and they are the most comfortable.
The cushioning is fantastic and it doesn’t go flat. The Ashore is stiff and the cushioning is very lacking. I feel like I’m walking flat footed. So if you can find a shoe that is Goga Max you will not be disappointed.

My go to for sketch pads. Plenty of paper. Can do more than just sketch with this pad. I’ve used it for chalk, pastels, markers and paints. Happy with my purchase.
Honestly just feels like regular printer paper, pretty cheap for its price and shipping was good. I do recommend for beginner artists however I got used to thick and heavyweight paper, so its a little strange.
We bought this drawing notebook last week. My son was really happy to see that notebook. After he done with first page when he tried to turn the next page it got tears. Each and every page is like that only.

I’ve been using Canson xl watercolor paper for 11 years for my indigenous Animated/Comic Art. I began using Canson xl because my line work and flow was smooth and effortless on this velvety finish, my lines are detailed graphics and I achieved amazing Results I can’t live without it, literally.
The local HobbyArt store discontinued Canson Paper. So I love it so much I now drive an hour from my home to buy it in bulk at a Michaels Art Store. My Art Project is at the end of its process, but I will still use it for my Art in general.
The watercolors and ink work beautifully on Canson XL watercolor paper. It’s Fabulous. Daneal.
I used to LOVE the Canson XL Mixed Media Pads. I would purchase the size 18″x24″ for work. But with a new order I placed I saw they had rebranded and redesigned, I don’t mind a rebrand but they had changed the paper quality as well.
The old Canson XL had a great toothy paper, that worked great for mixed medias like ink and watercolour. The new redesign has a paper that feels like a thin bristol, very vellum-y and smooth and not at all what I wanted or was expecting.
Shame, because I placed an order for 3 pads. Still on the lookout for mixed media pads of that size with the same tooth and feel.
Simply follow the numbers. Royal & Langnickel has created a brilliant project for all ages. The painting by numbers kits are a terrific way to learn composition, plus a great stepping stone for painting on your own.
Each project includes a pre-printed artist board, practice sheet, acrylic paints, paint brush and instructions. The small, 8-3/4-inch by 11-3/4-inch, format of the painting by numbersjunior small was selected to offer a project that could easily be tackled and finished in a short amount of time.
Whether a rainy day project or a gift for a child, the painting by numbers kits provide pure entertainment. Conforms to ASTM D4236. Recommended for children ages 8 and up.
I love the Zeta series sketchbook for my watercolor sketches! It takes a lot of water well and it takes a lot of effort to get the paper to pill when using watercolor – it actually allows a lot of pulling up and blending.
It’s super smooth, which allows for a ton of details. My only complaint with it is that you can’t really use a regular eraser on it – you can only use the Tombow Zero eraser if you don’t want to leave discoloration areas.
Other than that, it’s amazing for sketching and painting! I use Arches hot press WC paper for most of my final paintings, but the wc sketch of the mouse reading that I’m including with this review was done in my Zeta sketchbook.
The experience of painting on the Zeta paper is similar to that of Arches except that the Arches paper is a little more thirsty, so the Zeta paper requires less water and paint for the same effects.
The Zeta paper feels very smooth to the touch, and it works beautifully for pen and ink illustration. The Copic multiliners glided effortlessly on its sleek surface and made crisp clean lines without any bleeding nor feathering.
There was no show through the back of the thick sheet of paper either. The Pilot Metropolitan Fountain pen also worked really well with this sketchbook without any issues. Its steel nib move effortlessly on the smooth paper surface without skipping nor getting caught on the paper fibers.
I was able to doodle several helmet designs in minutes since I could sketch quickly without having to worry about the compatibility of my art materials. For a coloring test, I used some gray Prismacolor markers I had lying around my desk.
There was some show through the back of the page with this marker ink given the paper mild translucency. Yet the marker ink did not bleed through. I would not recommend using alcohol markers on this fine paper anyway.
The smooth Zeta paper still has enough tooth to grab colored pencil quite effectively. The Caran D’Ache Museum aquarelle pencils colored an ink sketch quite quickly and looked bold enough even with the dry marks.
A quick pass with the waterbrush, and the watercolor pencil marks blended softly into each other with minimal warping of the support paper. The Stillman & Birn Zeta sketchbook opened nice and flat even when brand new, so it is pretty easy to work across two page spreads and scanning in the future should not be a problem.
While individual sheets might warp during heavier washes, the book closes back neatly given the substantial weight of its sheets and sturdy covers. If your coloring media is brightly saturated like Caran D’ache Museum pencils and NeoArt watersoluble pastels, the white surface of the Zeta paper will show them in their best light thanks to the contrast between them.
I would highly recommend this sketchbook for artists that value performance with mixed media and seek a sturdy home for their watercolor sketches and experimental drawings.
This sketchbook is absolutely great for all kinds of media! The quality is top notch. Lays flat, can handle literally all types of media. Definitely will purchase this sketchbook again in the future!
Color really pops on this mixed media toned paper! This sketchbook is great for a wide range of dry and wet media, with 100 lb. fine art paper that supports multiple erasures without pilling and holds ink line without feathering.
Internal and surface sizing means remarkable wet strength and forces pigment to remain high on the surface so that color glows. Suitable for colored pencil, ink, gel pens, paint markers, watercolor, gouache, chalk pastels, oil pastels, water-soluble graphite, charcoal, Conte crayon, colored dry pigments, watercolor pencil, soapstone pencil and more!.
I’d been looking forever for a toned sketchbook to use for watercolor/gouache, and I finally found it! This thing is awesome!! Pros: The surface takes watercolor very well, much better than you would expect for a thin mixed media paper.
No pilling, no sloughing off of the surface; you can pile on the layers and scrub away (within reason of course). The texture is mild and pleasant, enough texture for watercolor, but smooth enough for a good drawing experience too.
Cons: The paper is somewhat thin, so even though the surface holds up great to watercolor, significant buckling is inevitable when using heavy washes. I work small so this doesn’t bother me, but keep it in mind when working larger.
Thin paper = more pages, so it’s a trade-off I guess. Overall I’m extremely happy with my sketchbook. I’d personally prefer thicker paper, but that’s just because I use it primarily for watercolor.
Once again Stillman and Birn have out done the competition. I love their books and usually use the Beta and Zeta books as my main sketchbooks of choice. Now I have to add one more to that list. I picked up a grey 8×10 and I have been loving it.
The paper isn’t as thick as their beta or zeta but it’s still pretty thick and as far as I know it’s the thickest toned sketchbook out there. I’ve used colored pencil and blended with oderless mineral spirits, I’ve used gouache, watercolor, and India ink markers.
So far it takes the abuse no problem. Using a lot of water I did get some buckling, but I expect that with any sketchbook that you soak. Over all it is one of my new favorites and I’ll pick up a black one soon as well.
I got this hoping to use it for watercolor sketches with thin marker, and you can, but. without a clip, the page buckles too much to work easily. I’m not a watercolor artist, and haven’t tried many other sketchbooks, but I like the toned paper and was hoping the mixed media books would allow some wet work.
A photo is easier to show how this book responds, so I’ll include some. It erases beautifully, I love the rounded corners and handmade look of the bindings, so it is a quality product, but for someone just starting out, the cost difference between this product and the Strathmore Toned Sketchbooks (not the Mixed Media Journals), which behave the same when wet wouldn’t make sense.
Canson Artist Series Sketchbooks are constructed with sturdy, double wire binding for a strong book. These books contain acid free, French made paper that works great with pencil, charcoal, and ink. The hard chip cover and backing make for a great surface to sketch against on the go.
Each 6″X6″ book contains 80 sheets of 65lb / 96g paper.
I love these little books! I keep my journal using them. The paper surface is such that you can draw, write, paint. It is a convenient size as a sketching journal but good as a scrapbooking journal. I’ve used them for many years and my old ones are in great shape.
With spiral binding it lies flat. Wonderful not to have to keep fussing to keep a conventionally bound book open while you work.
I have bought this notebook many times from many vendors. I bought one from a famous internet store and it arrived with wavy pages. Long story short I bought a test one from here. So about the book. I love these because paper is nice and smooth.
I actually keep my journal in them. They comfortable to write, draw, use any kind of ink with and the small size gives you the opportunity to finish works. You can focus on a project and have it done.
It is also great for sketching outdoors. Opens flat. I’ll definitely keep buying them!.
I love the paper in the Canson Field Drawing Book, and I use it for so much more than drawing! I use this as a journal and the paper allows me to use a variety of pens in lots of colors. The spiral allows me the flexibility of using it easily outdoors as well.
I buy these 2 at a time so that I always have one on hand!.
Maruman “CROQUIS BOOK” series includes this compact sized sketchbook that measures 182 mm x 165mm (7. 17” x 6. 50”). Small sketch pad is perfect to carry around handy in your purse for quick draw and quick sketch.
Coquis art drawing pad contains 80 pages of 60g/m2, neutral PH acid free, Maruman’s original cream coquis papers. With a smooth, flat texture, this high quality lightweight paper works great for use with dry media such as pencil, colored pencil, pastel, crayon and charcoal, etc.
Cream paper creates a beautiful contrast with these drawing media. Durable art sketch paper allows for erasing without damaging paper surface and won’t tear easily. Each sketch pad features a unique spiral bound system called SC binding.
The continuous cover is made of sturdy and flexible Kraft cardboard and hides the coil loops inside the spine to give a stylish slimmed look. It also protects the wire from getting tangled or hooked.
Since first created in 1970, with its symbolized “CROQUIS” logo, this premium quality artist sketch notebook remains a bestseller in Japan and loved by artist, designer, and illustrator of all generations.
The paper is thin, but it is good for what I wanted it for. I keep it at work for a quick sketch of an idea. I don’t recommend using both sides of the paper if you’re using a fountain pen. The cover will get creased, unless you leave it on your desk (for a while I carried it around with me) It might be rather expensive, but it takes pencils and fountain pens (Decimo F) well enough.
Surprisingly love it! Bought this out of curiosity. Didn’t use it immediately but once I did I loved it! The paper is perfect for sketching for all kinds of pencils and depending on how you erase, the paper is sturdy enough to not crinkle.
Ink does okay but art markers will DEFINITELY bleed through. The design is unique too! Like a note-taking pad that melted into the cover pages. Looks like this type of sketchbook is only for pocket sizes so I hope Maruman makes one bigger like the others! (especially since this paper is thicker compared to the others.
Very handy little sketch book, I like that I can easily fold the cover around the back while using it. Paper is a bit thin for some media, but for pencil sketching is very nice. It’s quite smooth, but has a very slight uniform texture that is pleasing.
Stay protected and very comfortable for your full shift with the Skechers Work Sure Track – Martley ST shoe. Smooth leather upper in a lace up sporty casual comfort work steel toe slip resistant sneaker with stitching accents and Memory Foam insole.
Always happy to find steel toed shoes for women. I was super happy about 5 years ago when I found steel toed shoes at sketchers. They were a different style than what I bought this time, but they had better cushioning for the insole.
That’s my only complaint about these shoes, they advertise “memory foam” but the insole is so stiff and uncomfortable, I dont see how it’s considered memory foam. The old shoes I had were most definitely memory foam and very comfortable.
If they could have kept using it, I’d have been 100 times more happy. But I’m still very happy to have these shoes. Especially since I work in a wood mill where things fall occationally. Also, the thickness of the rubber sole is very good to have when walking around the parking lot where nails and screws fall all the time.
My first pair of these shoes, I stepped on a nail sticking out of a board and it barely touched my skin, didnt even break the skin. My shoe was perfectly thick enough. Thank you!.
Ready to take off? Anyone who has ever come to enjoy a Jordan sneaker, knows why these shoes have such a high popularity factor. And the Jordan 11 Retro again impresses with its unusual design and excellent comfort.
Especially women’s hearts will beat faster at the sight of the sneaker. Of course, this is due to the girlish coloring, which really shows off the breathable and shiny upper, which seems to merge with the lacing and thus ensures a striking look.
But not only the upper material revives the design – even in comfort, no other sneaker approaches the Retro 11! A carbon fiber leg improves the fit and the rubber sole provides the necessary traction, so nothing can go wrong on the court!.
A premier American sportswear performance brand, Nike’s focus for decades was on sneakers, and this still accounts for a significant portion of their business. With the 2010s advent of drop culture and rise of “sneakerhead” collectors and flippers, Nike has flourished by bringing fresh colorways of its iconic shoe lines to market frequently, resulting in lines at the door on launch days and immediate sellouts online.
Apparel underperformed until a mid-aughts collaboration with designer Stella McCartney upended possibilities for the brand and the industry. Nike continues to drop collabs with noted designers and public figures, continues to uphold its standard of iconic advertising (print media) featuring inspirational figures and the recognizable “swoosh” logo, and has flexed with many sportswear brands into athleisure apparel in more luxurious fabrics and stylish colorways and prints.
Buyers should know a few things: 1. The shoes run narrow, and for some models, a bit small. 2. Due to collectors leveraging aggregators to track releases, some pieces sell out immediately and reappear on the gray market at huge markups.
3. Clothing is mostly well made and with care should last for some time. Cotton pieces will still shrink a bit. Some say women’s clothing sizes also run a bit small. 4. Due to a broadening of the brand’s target market, pricing for items ranges widely.
Nike has always been one of the best Brands of shoes for decades. No longer are they just a shoe brand. With athletic gear, jackets, headbands, underwear, socks to hoodies, which are my favorite. They continue to expand so they have something for everyone.
No doubt this has increased their popularity. Making them a classic staple for any age. I am partial to Air Force ones and Jordans myself but, again there’s something for everyone! Everyone’s getting into tennis shoes in a big big way and if you have the right pair some are worth thousands of dollars.
My husband has about 25 or 30 pair and his collection and he will never part with them. It’s really hard to find a pair of the styles I like for a steal, a sale or even on clearance. I’m a female and I wear a size 7 or 7 1/2 in women’s shoes which means I can wear little boys or youth shoes size 5 or 5 and 1/2 and I have learned this is a way for me to save a lot of money.
Regardless the price they are tried and true and I know I’ll still be able to rock them in 10 years from now so I don’t mind paying a little bit extra for something it’s going to last they go with pretty much anything and different colors and color combinations, styles to choose from I can find exactly what I want without worrying that my girlfriends are going to have the same exact pair.
They even have an option on their website where you can order custom design your own, add a name, very creative and a way to express your individuality.
I loved [brand:nike] even before I knew I loved [brand:nike]…they were my very first pair of shoes and let me tell you they’re absolutely adorable infant sized. I’m not a shoe hoarder and only own one pair of sneakers at a time, but anyone who knows me knows they will always be [brand:nike].
They’re well made, comfortable, and designed right. I recently downloaded the [brand:nike] app and find myself on there just as much as I am on Amazon. Can’t find a pair you like? Don’t despair! With [brand:nike] by You, you can design your own pair! Which happens to be wheee I spend a lot of my free time, when I’m not searching the sales or trying to find my next new shoe, you’ll catch me caught up in sneaker design.
I’d venture to say I have probably customized as many shoes as their design team-and much to my shame Ill admit my photos are racked full of these artistic achievements that perhaps someday I’ll finally commit to one to sport on the street.
They’re serious about shoes and it shows and what makes them stand out besides the quality of their kicks is their general disinterest in fashion trends…no no they’re one step ahead (pun intended) dare I say even paving the way for future fads offering unique stylish sneaks all while never once compromising the quality to which the [brand:nike] name speaks! [brand:nike].
Hit the streets in classic laid-back style of the Melson slip-on sneaker from Skechers. Boasting of Relaxed Fit design, this sneaker is styled with herringbone-patterned canvas upper and tonal bungee lace detail for a perfect natty vibe.
They are light, cool, easy on ans off, and extremely comfortable. I did scotch guard them before wearing and have no staining issues – despite the light grey color. Of course, I also don’t go play in the dirt in them! I did have to buy a half- size down from my usual.
I was looking for shoes that would be super comfy and casual for my feet, but look classy enough to wear with khakis and “business casual” attire (which athletic shoes CANNOT!). These fit the bill perfectly.
I like everything about them … except not sure what to do with the “laces” once I snug them up a bit.
My husband says that these shoes are like wearing slippers all day. They look good with shorts and jeans. Definitely a better look than flip flops on vacation. An overall great purchase.
The Chapelle show sketches are concluded with a few final words from Dave Chapelle. He thanks the audience for watching and encourages them to keep supporting comedy and art. He also gives a shout out to some of the people who made the show possible, including the writers, producers, and crew.
Finally, he gives a special thanks to his family and friends for their support.
