20 Best Chapstick For Kissing (2022 Updated)

This is one of my favorite lip products in the world! Amazing price point at under $4 USD per lip balm, color pay off is a natural, soft, cherry pink. It’s buildable if you want a more saturated pink, but it never gets to look like it’s overdone or fully saturated like an actual lipstick.

Always sheer and natural. Excellent for a daily no-makeup-makeup look. It reminds me of a lippie a male K-pop idol might use to just add a light, healthy hue to their lips. I also love the smell of it! Smells so yummy and sweet like cherry candy.

I haven’t tried the other flavors yet, but I definitely will soon! This cherry lip balm by Revlon is a huge upgrade from the regular cherry Chapstick.

I absolutely love this lip balm!!! I’ve tried most of the other flavors and they’re not bad, but this one is perfect!!! It’s the perfect shade for my lips given the fact that I was looking for a lip balm that blended in more with the color of my lips and this one does the job.

It taste good and keeps my lips so moisturized throughout the day. I only wish I had money for more right now as I’m currently out. 😪 In time I will be getting more and I’ll be sure to order multiply single one’s of the tropical coconut so that I don’t run out again.

I constantly have dry/chapped lips and it’s extremely frustrating, but not when I’m wearing this. 5 Star product for sure. Give it a try! It won’t disappoint!!!.

My new favorite chap stick! I bought Strawberry and Berry. Strawberry was a little light, but the Berry was nearly perfect! I wish they had a slightly darker shade, but this is still the best tinted moisturizer I’ve ever found.

It’s buildable, smells like the color (Berry smells like berries, etc. ), and it lasts better than most lipsticks I’ve tried! Don’t need a mirror to reapply, and it wears off very slowly, even with eating, so it’s not embarrassing like lipstick is when it wears off during meals.

I will be buying this again and seeing what other shades I can find elsewhere!.

I have really dry and pale lips, so I’m always on the hunt for a good tinted lip balm. This is not it. The first thing I noticed was how strong of a scent this stuff has; I got the Berry Burst flavor and my fiancé could smell it while he was sitting next to me.

That wouldn’t be the worst thing if it actually smelled good, but the scent is weird, artificial, and cheap smelling. it reminds me of those Lip Smackers balms I used to get from Claire’s when I was in elementary school lol.

not sexy. But the biggest problem is the hydration factor, or lack thereof. It’s little more than a thin, slippery coating that sits on top of my lips rather than actually absorbing into them and hydrating.

Unless I want berry-scented flakes on my lips, I have to apply a far more hydrating clear balm first, which pretty much defeats the purpose of a tinted balm. A tinted balm should be a one stop shop, something you can quickly swipe on before running out the door.

The color is a nice, healthy, reddish-pink, but that’s not enough to make up for this product’s lack of quality elsewhere.

I bought the original color and absolutely love it. I have normally fair skin but I self tan occasionally too. This looks great with my fair skin and with my faux tan. I love the slight tingly/cooling feeling when I put this on.

It doesn’t burn at all like some plumpers. I didn’t notice drastic plumping like items that are typically more burning feeling but my lips feel ultra hydrated. I love putting this on after I’ve used a matte lip color because they can tend to be more drying on my lips.

It’s thick but not sticky feeling. I love that my hair doesn’t get caught in it and I really appreciate the large applicator. This is definitely a gloss for everyone and one that you can use all year long alone or with another product.

I have not tried any of the other colors but this one is a must have for any makeup kit.

I bought this completely on a whim online from Sephora hoping to find a more convenient lip balm to use on a daily basis that was more portable and had better ease of use than my Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask.

I didn’t expect I was actually going to fall in love with it! I’ve always struggled to find balms and treatments that actually hydrate my lips instead of just sitting on top. I didn’t have high expectations or hopes for this product but was so pleasantly surprised that it delivered on its promise to hydrate, soften, and smooth the lips.

My lips look the healthiest they have this entire winter. I like that the formula is tacky enough to stay put for hours but is not like a typical gloss that is overly sticky. It even stays put throughout the night and my lips feel great in the morning.

Love the applicator as it’s so easy to apply and the smell is also amazing. Definitely will be repurchasing in some of the other shades!.

I bought this product on a whim, as I wanted to try something new. I would say that this lip balm has a heavy, “baked goods” base note scent/undertone that doesn’t actually smell much like the original moisturiser range (the moisturiser smell is much sweeter and lighter).

I also found that my lips were starting to flake after some use. It didn’t appear to be any sort of allergic reaction, just that it wasn’t as hydrating and more of a beeswax based film. I don’t think I will repurchase as it is not nearly as hydrating and lacks many of the humectant ingredients other true balms have.

It seems more like a fun lip balm that is trying to live up to the brand hype, rather than a decent product in its own right. It’s basically just a big adult Lip Smacker dupe. At this price point, I would expect genuine quality.

It might be a nice one-off “stocking stuffer” style gift for someone else, but there are far more effective lip balms that are actually worth the money.

My first thought when I received this was “whoa! That’s the biggest ChapStick I’ve seen in my life”. Lol I have to say. this is the best chapstick that I’ve ever used in my life. It smells good and it feels amazing on the lips.

It made my lips feel so soft, smooth and hydrated just after the first couple times that I used it. I took off one star because I think that $17 for a chapstick is a bit ridiculous. But ti be fair, it is a gigantic chapstick that will probably last me forever.

I’ll probably loose it before I finish it. Sometimes I apply this under my lipstick and it doesn’t move my lipstick or do anything weird to it. It makes lipstick application smoother and easier and looks better too! I’m likely going to buy a few more as stocking stuffers for Christmas this year.

Again, it’s expensive for what it is but totally worth it in my opinion and I’m very happy with this purchase.

I have to say, I was already giving it a negative review since I first had a glance at it. Thought Lipsmackers would create another chapstick that would not deliver healing to my chronic lips. Ive tried EVERYTHING! I bought lip scrubs, moisturizers, all types of chapsticks, you name it! I really love how minty this lip balm is and the moment you deliver it to your lips you get a very nice tingly/cooling feeling.

I wear this chapstick at home and before i go to bed. I make sure I put a lot on my lower lip since thats my chapped/bleeding/cracked lip. In the next morning my lips have been greatly moisturized! I noticed for my lips when they are very bad, skin on my lips have to be ripped off so that the skin underneath can come out.

This lip balm really moisturizes my lower lip and by the next morning, I was removing my dead skin off my lips (using a circular or swipe motion with a tissue) so that the skin underneath can be seen.

This lip balm saved my life! I cant wait to tell peope about it and how it really helps my lips! Hope Lipsmackers do not remove this item and keeps it forever!.

This lip smacker is the best hydrating lip therapy I have ever used. My lips get extremely dry and this balm has been my saviour. I have tried many of the flavours but the Eucalyptus Mint is my favourite.

It is cooling and pleasant on the lips and I highly recommend this product.

I’ve been wearing this lip balm for the last two months and have used it as a daily part of my beauty regimen. The other in my city can’t decide if it’s still in winter or ready for spring. This means my lips have taken a beating between being chapped and being cracked.

It’s difficult to find a balm with flavor, spf and that provides long lasting moisture. Instantly I could taste the flavor and smell it as well. Who doesn’t love strawberries?! The feature of the product that brought most attention to me was the moisture it provided.

The texture of the balm was smooth going on but not thick to where my lips felt they would be stuck together. One application lasted hours before having to reapply. The balm was perfect to fit into my purse or even pocket.

It is the perfect fit for my lips.

I just finished the last of my [brand:revlon] Kiss Balm in Tropical Coconut. I liked this lip balm as a quick throw on with SPF and the coconut smell and taste was tolerable. This did leave a bit of a whitish sheen on the lips after application but it would go away quickly after drinking or eating.

This isn’t a long lasting balm but it was still ok. Not sure if this dried out my lips at times. I won’t be repurchasing this as I still have the Strawberry and Peach to go through now.

I love this lip balm! This lip balm glides on smooth. This balm give good moisture and it leaves the prettiest color on the lips! I think this may be my favorite lip balm! I also love it for when I do bold eyeshadow looks because it gives such a nice color.

Tried two so I could make sure the flavor isn’t too much and to see if it stained or colored the lips. It does not stain or color also has a faint taste of what it is like peach and a light tropical very good flavor.

Doesn’t taste waxy or overpowering. Moisturizes really well and easy to apply. The tip easily glides on top and bottom lip for a quick apply when needed. Great for lips in a hurry or chapped in the cold.

Baby Lips Crystal Moisturizing Lip Balm in Peppermint is one of my all time favorite lip balms to use year round. I do specifically favor it more during the cooler months because my lips tend to chap a lot easier and the peppermint soothes my lips without being overwhelming.

I love to keep multiples of this product so I have it everywhere I go. One for my purse, one for my car, one for my desk at work. I love that my youngest can use it without it being so strong that it burns her.

The product itself has a nice smooth, glossy feel without being heavy and cakey. I hate cakey feeling lip balms. Some lip balms also leave like a residue feeling on the lips but this product does not.

One of the only things I don’t like is that I have cracked the plastic cover multiple times in ways I feel like shouldn’t have resulted in a crack. Never the less, I highly recommend this product and love to give it as a gift in stockings at Christmas as a stocking stuffer.

You can never have too many lip balms, especially not a peppermint one in the winter. It is soul soothing to have that cooling effect on my lips when I need it the most. As far as what I would have liked to know before I bought this product, I think it would be just how addictive this product is.

I have this balm in the colour “Pink Lolita”. It comes in a charming pink tube with white writing. The pink of the packaging is very similar to the pink of the actual product. The product winds up and down in the tube, which I personally love as it means that when I recap the product I don’t accidentally make a mess.

The product is scented a sweet candy like flavour, however I don’t find it too sickly and I feel the scent fades as you wear it, which as someone sensitive to overly scented products I appreciate. The balm goes on very smoothly without any drag onto the lips.

It feels very smooth and buttery on the lips, not waxy or sticky at all. The moisturising feel lasts for a long time for me. The lip balm is very shiney looking on the lips, however it doesn’t have any glitter or shimmer.

I really love the colour of this product. It’s not overly different to my natural lip colour. So it adds an extra pink hue without being over the top. It gives a gloriously shiney look to the lips. I love wearing it when I’ve popped on a natural makeup look and I don’t want to wear a lipstick but need something on my lips to look “done”.

It’s a great handbag staple too, as it’s really moisturising. So even if I do a heavier makeup look, it’s good to have on hand for when my lips inevitably dry out. The price is very reasonable, and the fact that you can buy it at most supermarkets and pharmacies on sale quite regularly, there is no reason not to splurge on multiple.

This product was one of the last lip balms with petrolatum that I tried before confirming that my lips couldn’t stand that particular ingredient. While I’m glad it works well for others, I personally experience peeling and further dryness rather than the cooling relief that the peppermint scent suggests.

I also don’t find the texture to be appealing; I don’t like products with heavy amounts of petroleum, wax, and polybutene, whose molecules are too large to penetrate and therefore sit like a film on top of my lips rather than absorbing comfortably.

For some, these occlusive moisturizers can be excellent protective barriers to lock in moisture that is already there, but they can make chapped lip issues worse for many people like myself. What works for me is Dr.

Bronner’s Organic Lip Balm Naked (light blue tube). It only contains avocado oil, jojoba oil, beeswax, hemp oil, and vitamin E. The beeswax is a humectant rather than an occlusive so it’s much more comfortable on the lips, and as the sole sealant ingredient, it provides proportionate protection while all the other ingredients work to improve and enhance my lips’ natural moisture.

I received this product free for my honest review from influenster. I generally dont use bronzers, but thought why not. I took notice first of the scent. Now by rule, I tend to shy away from makeups with perfumes or scents because Im just not too fond of them but this one I liked, alot.

It wasnt too heavy, not flowery. Gave a Mediterranean feel for lack of a better way of putting it. What Id imagine maybe an open bizarre or market with spices and such would smell of amoung other scent and whatnot.

Its pleasant. I swept my foundation brush across the powder and then using the directed suggestion from the packaging, swept from my forehead to cheek to chin on both sides of my face, then for added effect, dabbed a bit along side my nose and a bit on my neck and blended out.

I found the use of this very effortless, leaving a perfect evening look. I cannot wait to try this for a daytime look. I used it as a bit of a contouring and bronzer combo as it worked perfectly for both, taking out any need extra step so I didnt have to grab anything extra from my bag.

I liked the smooth finish it gave my skin over all as well. Was not heavy on my skin, which I felt was a definite plus too. Effortless application, no need to add more or touch up here or there. It was a joy trying this out and something I definitely suggestion to try out.

Im definitely going to be looking for more of this in the near future as its a very worthy product.

This is a great affordable option if you want a small one to bring around. I trued a lot of popular chapsticks before( dior, kiehl’s, l’occitan, laneige, carmex, burt’s bees, eos, and more) but I think this is a great one too.

It doesn’t do significant things, but for it’s price, it does what it has to do. I like to use it as a sleeping mask too. I would recommend it for people who like to use different chapsticks and something affordable.

I have tried so many brands of lip balm and so many scents of chapstick brand. This one is my absolute favorite. I use it every day and probably 20 times per day. I have one in my purse, car, daughters diaper bag, one at my parents’ house, one in the kitchen, one in the family room, one in my bedroom, one in my car, and one in my husbands car.

A very fun and good cruelty-free lip balm. I have great memories with these and have bought them again and again. The packaging is cute and the product really tastes like the drinks they represent. The formula is nice, smooth and keeps your lips well-hydrated.

Note that some of the lipsmackers have a different formula. Some are a little creamier than others. I would really recommend these fun, hydrating and well-priced lippies. My favourite one is the Coca-Cola cherry.

I have this product in the shade #be sweet and it provides a nice, natural looking flush on the lips. It’s just slightly darker (verrryyy slightly) than my natural lip color and it adds a subtle sheen to my lips that just helps them look extra hydrated.

It’s a nice no-fuss option that you don’t have to worry about coordinating with makeup looks or clothes because it goes with everything. I also purchased this product in the shade #smooch which I quickly returned when I saw that it had little flecks of GLITTER in it.

Be careful purchasing these because some of them have hidden glitter that you can’t just see by looking at the bullet and I personally associate that with kids makeup. Based on the shade #be sweet, I love these! Based on the one that had glitter in it, be ware and keep your receipt until you try it on or swatch it.

I purchased this lip balm in the store today in the color: Be Sweet. It’s a light brown, but I was unsure about whether or not I would like it because it looked like it might be a bit darker than I wanted.

I tried it on right away and it was perfect!! I wanted a lip balm with a little color and shine to it, but nothing that would stand out too much at all. This lip balm has great moisture to it that lasts and goes on light and has a shine to it.

I love it. It smells really nice to. the only way I can describe the scent is. how a popsicle stick would smell after eating the popsicle off of it lol. just a light sweet smell, nothing that would get sickening after a while.

I have been wearing it all day and it’s definitely my favorite lip balm now.

A friend of mine gave me this product because I am absolutely obsessed with lip balm and I have tried so many but they just never seem to actually heal my lips they only put a Band-Aid on the problem so to say.

So far I am very pleased with this product and of course it has a minty smell and flavor which is pleasing. I feel like it’s also good for other dry patches like knuckles and elbows.

Makes my lips soft, kissable. The mint makes them tingle and feel refreshed. I absolutely adore these little pots. This brand has several formulas and I love them all. I get them fairly cheap at my local beauty supply warehouse.

Amazing product! It soothes my lips almost instantly and doesn’t feel dry after a while like does. It really does revitalize the lips and repairs your lips. I’ve been using it for months and almost cry whenever I can’t find the tub.

So I’ve tried nice products before since the drug store is semi limited to Vaseline, jergens, okay etc. And figures it was worth a shot. I had used there in shower moisturizer and body soap and loved them! So after receiving the Nice Creme Voxbox thanks to Influenster’s I was excited to dive into this super luxe body cream! Especially because it’s a winter wonderland on the east coast and the cold weather, chilly wind, snow, and constant dry heat being circulated througu out my home always keeps my skin from being it’s natural self.

I figured this crene would help moisturizer and hydrate my skin. but I’m not so happy with it. First the smell. super nice fragrance but it becomes overwhelming for me after a few uses and a few hours of wear.

not my go to smell. 2nd and what really turned me off was the way it didn’t sink into my skin and absorb. it left a heavy feel to the places I applied it and never really soaked into my limbs. just kinda set on top.

and 3rdly I am not impressed by the price. it’s isn’t cheap or expensive for the amount you get. but I didn’t really see any results because I couldn’t get over the smell and the fact that it felt like I was wearing a Nivea Snowsuit after I applied.

Not impressed. Won’t purchase or recommend.

The blue Nivea lip balm (I think it’s the original) is one of the only lip balms I purchase. In the winter I usually buy several impulse lip balms at a time and I used to try all different brands and flavors etc, until I found the best ones in their class.

When it comes to drugstore/supermarket beauty purchases, most Nivea lip balms are not my favorite because a lot of them wear too quickly or taste weird if you get them in your mouth (I don’t mean licking your lips either lol).

The blue one is perfect though because it doesn’t have much scent or taste and stays on a decent amount of time. The price is much better than some of the Blistex or fancier named ones at the drugstore and this one is usually not as popular so it’s almost always available.

Five stars because it’s gentle, it works well, and it does what it claims.

lip balm is one of those cosmetics that I rarely do without because I have a very sensitive lip mucosa that cracks easily. Among the various lip balms that I have purchased over time there are also those from Nivea which once had a fairly classic formulation, that is, based on paraffin, which as far as I’m concerned had a good waterproofing power and shielded my lips well against the cold; now they have changed and contain vegetable oils such as avocado or shea butter and have lovely colors and greedy fruit aromas.

The finish in many cases is luminous, i. e. shiny and therefore can also be used as lip glosses or moisturizing lipsticks. I find them emollient and pleasant to wear.

I felt like I really made a good buy for my lips! It felt really good when I applied the lip balm. The instant when I twist the lip balm open and applied the Lime Crush on my lips it felt good! It didn’t disappoint! I thought I was going to like only the Pineapple Vibes based on a second look of the Vibes’ application, but no.

Both shopping choices was a good result. The random surprise pick for the splurge was a feel good splurge. Not only did the tube was right, the application roll on the lips was good, the gratification was of the instant “yay!” was a.

YES. I haven’t felt that random buy splurge success in a while. That Essence lip balm is definitely for me was definitely just a nice pick me upper after having ugly, chafed wintery chapped lips all winter.

That feeling of moisturing and being able to sealed some moisture was nice so I could feel the lip protectant working me. So thrilled and it’s in really fun colors, by the colors!.

I have a really big thing about texture on my lips, I can’t STAND bees wax on my lips it feels super thick on my lips. But this stuff??? Amazing!!! I use the lime one and I plan on buying them all for variety.

It’s super hydrating and it soaks in quick which is really good for the people who hate the feeling of something on their mouth. It’s also super hydrating!!! I also own raspberry and dragon fruit, they’re a little dry for my taste but they also have color and sparkle for good for a chapstick day with a touch of glam.

All in all I LOVE these, not only are they affordable but they work super well and I can actually wear them!!! It’s super rare that I find a lip balm that I can wear for long periods of time but no matter now much of this stuff I lather on it never feels thick or heavy.

I bought the coconut lip balm and I really like it. It applies in a nice, thick, smooth way. It has smoothed and softened my lips even when they were very dry and scaly which is something that the Chapsticks I have used in the past have been unable to do.

The coconut lip balm doesn’t really have a smell or taste (the smell and taste is most like the organic filtered coconut oil you buy in jars, rather than like the artificial tropical coconut fragrance in most cosmetics) and applies in a sheer and gently shiny way.

I really prefer this since strong smells trigger headaches for me. The only con of this lip balm is that I feel like I need to reapply this lip balm every 40 minutes or so if it is the only product I am wearing since once the oils in the lip balm sink into my skin, my lips feel dry again.

I think that this lip balm might not be occlusive enough by itself. I don’t mind reapplying it often for how comfortable and affordable it is, but usually I end up layering this lip balm under Vaseline or a lip gloss and this keeps my lips smooth and hydrated for hours.
