20 Best Chapstick For Lips (2022 Updated)

I have autoimmune problems and have chronically chapped lips. I was always rubbing the dry flaky skin off and “sanding” them until raw. the pain. the frustration. I’ve literally tried EVERYTHING and nothing has proven itself more than this balm here.

I love the cooling sensation and it’s repaired my lips beyond what I had ever imagined that they could be. Thank you o’keefes you’ve saved me. Oh and it’s bright Orange so my eyes always go straight to it so Im consistently using it.

Plus hard to lose. It’s pricey I know but it’s worth it. Also it’s not gooey and sticky. Has like a matte finish. It’s perfect. My search for a lip stuff is over, day and night this is it. Like I can’t even put in words how good this is that’s why this review is one big happy ramble.

Just go get it please.

The winter months always take a toll on my lips. I lather on the chapstick all day long and feel that it doesn’t do much to retain moisture. I’ve started using this Night Lip Repair and it has worked miracles.

I wake up with my lips feeling hydrated, which doesn’t typically happen in the winter. It isn’t really scented/flavored which I like because I find that scented balms burn my lips more. It’s extremely hydrating and lasts for hours.

I do reapply it in the middle of the night but only because I wake up frequently so I figure what the heck, I’ll put on some more! Highly recommend if you suffer from dry lips like myself!.

They are the bulk pack, the gauze might be recycled. I am blond and our skin is just what they say. Thin skinned. So we are more sensitive. That’s life. I’m sure all people don’t have a reaction but mine is very bad for now.

So I am trying different masks. This gets expensive and I have less of a chance of getting out. Have to take the bad with the good. STAY SAFE.

I love ChapStick! I’ve tried other products and come back to ChapStick everytime! I keep it in my pocket, my purse, my car, my house, I even give sticks to friends! My favorite by far is Cotton candy and Cake Batter! I love these two! I wish you would get a grape flavor in! I also have Classic Black and Strawberry! Thanks Chapstick for helping my lips all these years!.

Let me start off by saying I have an obsession ChapStick. When I go to my local drugstore I always check their ChapStick display to see if there are any new flavors. When I saw coffee trio, I got very excited.

The Vanilla Latte & Caramel Macchiato are wonderful. The Mint Mocha, which is the one I was looking forward to the most, has a great flavor but smells horrible. I don’t know if I somehow received a bad one or if they all smell like this.

This is the first time I experienced something like this. Rated it a 1 star because of the smell, it’s that bad.

I recently purchased the Coffee pack and as soon as I opened the Mint Mocha I knew that it wasn’t for me. It smells like. well, frankly it smells like poop. I’ve tried to use it several times because I don’t want to waste the money I spent, but this scent is the absolute worst.

The other two scents/flavors smell great.

I originally ordered these in the colors blush and Spice. The spice is a very nice light brick red color, and the blush color is a very natural pink. They are incredibly hydrating, and I love that they have an SPF of 30.

I have tried to find a nice hydrating balm with an SPF of 30 in stores but most of them were very drying and waxy in texture. Obviously this is not like a regular lipstick in that it comes off when you drink and eat and you do have to reapply it a few times per day.

However, it is extremely easy to apply even without a mirror and very hydrating! My only complaint was that two of the three lip balms that I ordered did have an issue with twisting up and not coming back down.

However, they sent me another lip balm to replace the one that I had an issue with. I didn’t take any stars off for this because the lip balm is so great, and their customer service was superb. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a hydrating spf balm.

These tinted lip balms are my favorite! It’s very hard to find an SPF 30 lip product with color. I had low expectations for these at first, but the formula for the Ruby red shade is highly pigmented & looks like lipstick on my lips! It also fades/wears very nicely.

This may not be the most moisturizing lip balm but, considering there’s SPF30 in the formula, the texture is really nice. I have since bought the blush & spice shades as well. The blush shade is a very light tint of pink & the spice shade is really brown.

My favorite is still the red/Ruby shade. These are for the daytime to protect your lips from the sun & not to be used as an overnight lip balm. There are plenty of those products out there! I’m excited to wear my new lip balm at the beach/pool all summer!!! Customer service is also amazing!!!.

I LOVE THESE SWEET PEACH! I DONT LIKE THE OTHERS BECAUSE THEY SMELL NASTY BUT THIS ONE IVE BEEN USING FOR YEARS AND IT SUCKS THEY DONT SELL THEM AT MY LOCAL TARGET ANYMORE! THESE ARE MY GOTO CHAPSTICK.

I love this Chapstick. Site, sound, feel. That is smushed, scented and boom. Its a chapstick that then those start up a young school here. It really keep my teeth clean of the company and my face soft.

Because t loyally know these guys, I know the product be given the Death Star. I just dont cafe anymore. Good bye.

The usual and iconic chapstick lip balms are my favorite to-go lip primers, but this formula of theirs in particular was a swing n miss with me. At $4, I expected more hydration and potency with the same signature lightweight feel – I was sorely disappointed.

This stuff after one coat is too oily, slick and overall uncomfortable. I absentmindedly kept mine in my pocket during a busy day December and pulled it out of my pants pocket at the end of the day to find that – surprise, it was melting! I’ve done the same thing with regular chapstick (in much “flimsier” packaging) and that had never happened! This product was so disappointing and I’m sorry to say, I haven’t and wouldn’t buy this again.

I usually have a hard time with lip balms – they never seem to actually make my lips soft and moisturized. But this one does!!!! The texture is amazing, not too greasy or waxy. Gives you a really pretty light wash of colour and shine.

Plus the packaging is absolutely stunning.

Bought the orange one for the packaging anf the lipbalm is sooo amazing it melts on your lips and the color is sooo pretty! It’s slightly orange with a hint of pink perfect for me when I want a natural color on my lips!.

Baby lips Courtesy of my sister I got to try this adorably named tinted lip balm, Baby Lips. At first application, I could already tell it surpassed other pricier lip balms, chapsticks, serum, etc. Is it the best I’ve had? No, but I think it’s great, what makes this a memorable lip balm is how it’s not greasy not one tiny itty bitty bit.

Yet it manages to feel hydrating and has staying power on my dry lips even with my bad habit of lip-chewing. After 4 hours I still feel the softness on my lips from the chapstick that has been fully absorbed into my lips.

So I would say you can feel the lip balm for a good 3 hours to absorb on the lips ( if you apply a heavy coat ) and the effects last about 4-5 hours. The tint was Cherry Me, which just enhanced my lips.

I enjoyed how it complimented my skin, the color was so fun it kinda made me want to smile. The smell was delicious yet very understated. You only smelled it when first applying it on. So I imagine your kissing partner might benefit from this.

😉 As far as the design, it’s such a fun summer color that just using it makes me happy, I enjoy the twist-up lipstick design, I’ve never been a fan of the pot lip balm because of it being unhygienic.

So this earned it some stars. *Across-the-board as low-end drug store lip balms go, This one reigns supreme ♡ 5 s t a r s.

The Maybelline New York Baby Lips Loves Color Lip Balm is very moisturising on my lips. I love applying this before bed so it has all night to work it’s magic. It’s also great for day wear as is has a light pink tint to it and just gives my lips a boost of colour.

To use this lip balm you take the cap off and twist the bottom of the tube. My lips don’t get dry and cracked when I use this lip balm. It also has a really light smell to it which is lovely and to me it doesn’t have a taste.

The packaging is also cute and catches the eye.

I buy multiple amounts of this lip balm, I’m terrified they’ll stop making it. Not only does it care for your lips beautifully with its moisturising abilities. It just looks naturally amazing giving the most gorgeous subtle colour.

I must have been responsible for a good few sales as I get so many compliments, asking what expensive lipstick I’m wearing!! ❤️❤️.

This tinted balm is a staple for me now! It has a thick but silky feel and lasts for hours. I got the shade Summer Melon and it is a true blue-pink, not orange like many vegan pinks. The pigmentation is perfect and looks natural and not cakey.

The balm doesn’t have scent other than faint vanilla. There’s a generous amount of product in the bullet so I hope it will last the summer. Looking forward to collecting the other shades!.

Im a big fan of this. I received this from #ipsy in one of my glam bags. This was my first experience with the brand. I have never heard of Hanalei before receiving this product but I now own a couple of products.

This formula is like a lightweight kinda thick serum consistency. The colorwas pretty pretty being a peachy pink. I know this says treatment but after putting this on I decided then that it was going to go in my purse so I could wear it throughout the day.

Treatments don’t have to be for nighttime use only. It is just what I am used too. I applied it and went to bed, it was comfortable on the lips. When I woke up in the morning my lips felt so nice and moisturized.

They felt and looked healthy and it made me fall in love with this product! I do wish that there was more product in the tube. I feel like we don’t get much at all especially because I have been applying it throughout the day and not just at night and i go through it quite fast which is why I gave 4 stars.

This tastes like Carmex and was a solid block of wax in a tube to squeeze out. I assumed by the ad I saw it would be a legit Kukui nut oil- based lip oil. I was dumb, and didn’t check the ingredients to see that lanolin and petrolatum were the first 2 ingredients.

Might as well just use Vaseline or Carmex if I wanted to put a petrol product on my lips and not really sustainable products (lanolin). I assumed more natural with the use of Hawaiian words like Hanalei and HQ in Hawaii.

But it feels more like appropriation. I ordered the special sample set of 3 for $8. The website said due to shipping delays, expect 4-6 days. Which I was fine with. It took 10 days to come to California from a warehouse in Colorado.

I’ve been scammed on IG before, so I was concerned that happened again. I emailed support and was just given a link I already had to track my shipment. It had over 40 entries “in transit” but not actually saying where it was.

I have the shop app. I also clicked on the hanalei tracker on in the email, it would say “just shipped” for the last 10 days. On my second email, I got a response that said the carrier is out of their control and I should check with the carrier on the delay.

It’s Hanalei’s product, and they chose the carrier. Why couldn’t they just send a courteous update that there was a longer delay than expected. Or actually find out why their carrier is delayed so badly.

I finally got the product. It was 3 tiny tubes sent in a oversized box. If it was just shipped in an USPS envelope, it would have been cheaper than $8 would have arrived way faster than Colorado. I’ve used better products that actually were natural and sustainable from small, local businesses that I know from living in Hawaii, and can ship to CA in no time from Hawaii.

Not distributing from some mainland warehouse. I should have tried this before telling my friends to try. But I let them know if they haven’t ordered yet.

I’m not crazy about lip balms or lip treatments, but this one is amazing. I was suffering from very dry lips and tried Sever lip products that didn’t help at all. Not even the ones I use regularly. I had this one unopened and decided to give it a try… what a pleasant surprise!! It truly leaves your lips hydrated and soft.

Has a subtle dark pink color that’s quite flattering. Isn’t sticky. Super comfortable. The only thing I don’t like that much is that smells like baby butt ointment, but it actually works SO well that I don’t mind.

The texture is soft and smooth. It’s a great product, I definitely recommend it!!.

I had been introduced to this product while attending my dentist office. They, unfortunately, quit giving it in their bag after teeth cleaning. I was using the last tube I had when my five-year-old granddaughter was visiting.

She loved it as well and it is the perfect size for her to use without making too much of a mess. These will be in her stocking this year!.

Bought for my teenager who looses everything. Now when she looses chapstick it only cost less than 1. 00 a tube and not 4. 00. Great for a couple of weeks. Lets be honest she couldnt even keep track of her mittens that long! Lol.

Awesome lip balm. I’ve used these for years. Used to be easier to find at the dollar store or vending machines but I’m happy to be able to buy them here on eBay. I’ve had to buy in bulk and I’m never able to use them all before they expire so it’s good that they last way beyond the expiration date.

This is my favorite chapstick of all time!! It applies so smooth and leaves my lips feeling very moisturized. This compares to the feeling of Vaseline or Aquaphor but stays on the lips longer. The smell is amazing and really resembles a cupcake flavor.

I buy a pack of 8 on Amazon and couldn’t love this product more!.

I don’t love the fragrance, but it’s light enough that I can handle it. It’s the same great Carmex formula, but without the menthol tingle. To me that’s a plus. Menthol can sometimes irritate my lips.

So this is a nice alternative when my lips are feeling sensitive.

I love this Chapstick! It’s by far my absolute favorite but it’s very very hard to find. A while back I found a box of about 20 tubes at dollar general they’re almost gone now so I’m on the hunt to find more.

You know something’s good when you buy 20+ tubes at a time! This chapstick feels so smooth, smells delicious too. I apply Carmex like 20 times a day. My lips are super smooth.

I was able to participate in a cash back campaign with EOS and Influenster, receiving this complimentary in exchange for my review. I was super excited as I’ve wanted to try their lip balm. It was great at first! Fun scents and light wear, not overly greasy.

Unfortunately though, I noticed it making my lips flake more. Not long after, the bumps got worse and I realized I was allergic. It took about two weeks for my lips to fully heal. I hated throwing away the lip balm since it was pretty awesome but with the allergies, it wasn’t worth the continued pain.

If you have sensitive skin like me, I wouldn’t recommend sadly.

I enjoy this lip balm. I have the color “Pure” and it’s pretty much clear. It’s a nice, thick lip balm that has no texture inconsistencies. This is my first one, and I’ve almost used it up.

This is an incredible brand of lip products, this lip balm being a holy grail of mine. It smells absolutely amazing and the moisture it gives my lips is unmatched by any brand. I put it on before my lipstick and before I go to bed and my lips have never been better.

If you suffer from chapped lips throughout the entire year, this is the product for you. It includes everything you need to keep you lips in great shape. it is also a great value over buying individual packages.

Love this multipack. My whole family uses chapstick. Buying single sticks at other places gets expensive. Buying this multipack not only saves money but means we don’t run out.

I’ve purchased this multiple times and only once had an issue and it was a small one (the screw portion in the middle of a tube was broken). The sticks arrive in a blister pack as pictured. I’ve been using ChapStick for years and will for years to come.

I don’t write reviews often but this product is superb. I have dealt with annoyingly dry skin (especially in my T-zone and lips) my entire life. Other lip balms have acted as a temporary one day fix to my chapped lips.

After using this product for a month I have not had a single day of chapped lips (even on the days I forget to use it). The tinted balm has a slightly bumpy texture that I think lightly exfoliates my lips every time I apply it.

It also has a lovely smell. If you’re wondering whether you should buy it. here’s your sign: yes!.

The lip balm (rouge tint) has lasted me for about 4 months. It’s easy to push and glide with a finger or a pen. Love that rouge color, gives me a nice pink-reddish color. Still a little expensive than I would spend on lip balm, but I definitely found it was great quality.

With repeated use the texture gets a little grainy, but I don’t mind that. Looking forward to composting it!.

I love this lip balm which is why I purchased four. Forget about Chap stick. This balm feels so much better going on your lips. It keeps your lips so soft and I love the flavors. You will not be disappointed.

You may want to get the soaps, lotions and the perfumes as well. They smell so good. The texture of the lotion is so creamy and the scent lasts for quite a while. The soap really lathers up. I love these products and will be back for more.

I bought eight different flavors to try out. Favorites: Clove, Cup of Coffee, Cucumber Melon, Wintergreen. The one that I didn’t completely love was tea tree, which has a bit of an astringent flavor.

That said, the packaging is simple and clean, the formula is absolutely nourishing. This is how I’ll get through the fall.

Once again, very impressed with these lip balms from BrayerRidgeSoap! They shipped very soon after I put in my order, and came in before the expected delivery date. I did the “Buyer’s Choice” of 4, and ordered almond biscotti, banana pudding, bourbon, and vanilla coffee.

So far I have only tried the almond biscotti, and I really love it! Love the sweet almond scent and it’s super moisturizing. Would definitely purchase from here again, to try some of the other flavors offered!.

First of all i need to say that BALM is most definitely an inaccurate word for this product. There was nothing balmy or moisturizing about it. This was a lipstick. AS a lipstick, it was fine. The color stayed on for a while even after the slight shinyness faded (and i do mean slight).

There were only 3 color choices at the store. Unfortunately after studying the package a while i could not find actual color Names anywhere. The lipstick had a flat tip instead of at an angle so it was a bit harder to get it exactly where it needed to go.

But for a lipstick it was a good basic every lipstick. The color i chose was lovely however, Very nice.

Was i really was inpressed with the fact that. I actually liked this lip balm. Was kinda hard ti get to the store that carried it. In n their stock but. Other than the lack of store availability i really liked this product.

Made my lips soft n smooth. after a little while of wearing it it was hard to tell if i had put on my regular brand or something differ ent. definitely will recommended and may try again for the right discounted price.

There are 3 shades i think but only one was available when i got mine. Milf was like a beigeish pink tone. I liked the color looked good with my medium skin complexion.

This was such a great purchase for me. I very rarely wear lipstick as I prefer tinted lip balm. This to me is a cross between lipstick and lip balm as it has more color payoff than most tinted balms and has more of a lipstick texture than a balm, but it’s not drying.

It’s not super moisturizing either, but as long as my lips are prepped beforehand, there is no additional dryness. The colors are all flattering. I bought all three, but my favorites are MILF (perfect nude) and Boss Babe (perfect pink).

In my opinion these are pretty much perfect.

Rouge Coco Bomb Smoothing Moisturizing Lip Balm instantly makes lips soft, plump and plump. This last property in itself is not really anything special, after all, your lips will always look plump if you smear them with balm, a bit of an illusion, but this really happens because the skin is hydrated.

Well, a nice lip balm in a nice package, but yeah. I’m a little skeptical, you only get a very small amount (3g) of (very nice) lip balm for at least €29. 50. And that’s a little off, especially if you know that also has another very nice lip balm, Hydramax + Active Lip Care.

This product is less well packaged, ie in a jar, but you get 10 grams there for 33. 00 euros. Not a bargain either, but a lot cheaper to use and definitely comparable in terms of results.

I’ve used tons of different lip balms and I get the worst reactions. Most are the drugstore brands. I had a really bad reaction to a lip balm in March 2020. I splurged and got this and a few other brands in desperation to get some relief.

This balm worked so well. I was so relieved to find a lip balm that was hydrating and helped clear up my reaction. This is my second purchase! I’ll continue buying this one.
