20 Best Chapstick For Women (2022 Updated)

I purchased these on Amazon since I’m always misplacing my chapsticks. The packaging was super cute, it comes in a bunch of great flavors and it feels really nice on the lip. Only the mint one has a cooling effect and the rest are soothing.

The only thing that disappointed me about this product is that i have to apply frequently. It doesn’t seem to last more than a 10 minutes. This is good if you do not have super dry lips and just need a chapstick for a pick me up.

If you have really dry lips I’d look for something that lasts a little longer. But this is a great value and I was very happy with them!.

I love this lip balm set. I’ve been more conscious of the ingredients of things I use on the daily, and love that I can recognize all the ingredients on the list. The balm itself smells good, is smooth and moisturizing.

Would definitely recommend!.

are these the best tinted balms ever? yes, yes they are. i initially thought these were ridiculously expensive for being just tinted balms but i’ve been blown away by their performance and now think that they’re worth every penny!! the colors that i bought(lady & lullaby) were super flattering on my skin tone(light warm olive) and could be worn really sheer for a touch of color or built up for more intensity.

the balm itself feels so nice gliding over the lips– super soft and silky smooth and it wears comfortably on the lips without any stickiness. it’s so plush-feeling, it’s amazing. the moisturizing aspect of this balm is good, nowhere near a lip mask or any sort of lip treatment of course, but it does its job well and as advertised.

i haven’t had these in my collection for too long but i can already forsee that they’ll end up being a HG staple in my daily routine for sure due to ease of use, versatility, and great formulation. these are definitely worth a try for anyone into minimal or natural-looking makeup!.

I got this in Lullaby to try to match my Becca lip liner in Blissful (RIP to Becca). The liner literally looks like my lip color just better but can be super drying on me. I was looking for something hydrating to go over top that would vine with the liner color & was in a compact tube for traveling with.

FOUND IT!! This is surprisingly pigmented & very hydrating. It can go on sheer or be built up…very versatile! It also barely feels like there’s anything on my lips. It fades gracefully & is the perfect shade for my cool-neutral, pale skin tone.

I also love that the cap is magnetic & is secure but not overly hard to get off. I’m not exactly keen on paying $28 for a balm but for Ilia products it’s definitely worth it (I probably would not pay this much for any other brand, TBH).

But the quality of product + amount you get makes it worth it (plus it’s clean beauty so I don’t have to worry about what ingredients I may be ingesting from my lip color).

I really wanted to love the new balm, but it is just not the same. It sits weirdly on the lips, feels heavy and actually dries my lips, leaving them patchy. I also get a tingly sensation in the lips, I don’t know if it’s a reaction to some of the ingredients…I still have some left from the old formula and I don’t get the same sensations while applying the old tinted lip conditioner.

I used to wear ‘forever’ lipstick everyday. I’d put it on and forget I have anything on my lips, the color lasted longer and it was the only lipstick that could make my lips look alive in a very dry climate.

Unfortunately I can’t say the same about the new one. It’s an ok balm and the colors are still beautiful and flattering, but I wish you didn’t change the formula. It was a perfect sheer lipstick and having tried many from other brands, I really think it was the best.

Maybe this new product is just not for me. Having said all that, I really like everything else from Ilia and a big fan of the color block lipstick in Rococo.

I grew up using this chapstick. It’s the chapstick my mother always bought while waiting at checkout and I guess I learned the behavior. As I got older, I would also grab one of these cherry Chapsticks at checkout when with my mom since they were only $1.

After becoming an adult, I made a note to use up all the ones I had left and not buy them anymore. They do taste and smell nice and also provide a very natural tint to your lips which I like. However, they are very sticky feeling and I find myself unconsciously wiping it off throughout the day because it doesn’t feel comfortable.

If I don’t wipe it off, it ends up coming off on its own and needs to be re-applied VERY often. In my opinion, this is best left as a convenience chapstick. If your lips are REALLY dry and you’re at checkout, grab one, keep it in your car because if it melts it’s fine since it was only $1.

But I wouldn’t seek them out, there are much better lip balms out there.

I will start off by saying I am VERY picky about my chapstick. Since this is the original brand the only one I really like using is the classic cherry flavor. In wintertime when the air is the driest and my lips are struggling to retain moisture this is a good way to go.

It doesn’t have an overpowering taste/smell, and it formula isn’t overly greasy or ineffective. It works well and leaves my lips feeling plump and smooth. It’s also relatively cheap (I’ve never seen it go above $1.

50) and can be found in almost any retailer. Good product. Easy to find, and effective.

My boyfriend is a fan of the Chapstick brand especially the classic 🍒 cherry one. This one is definitely his favorite. He loves the taste and how well it works to protect his lips from getting chapped in the cold weather.

It also makes his lips real soft. There’s a bunch of flavors to choose from, you can buy them in variety packs or get them in one flavor in multi packs. He’s been buying the cherry one for years and there’s only one other brand he would buy.

They are also very affordable! I’d definitely recommend.

you are like me, you will go through a pack of these in like a month! not because I use them all, but because I end up losing them! But honestly, they keep my lips nice and moist throughout the day, while other brands tend to dry out my lips even more! Also, the original Beeswax version has a nice natural taste to them, which I prefer over the coconut or vanilla! I have been using this lip balm for years.

I could never get sick of using the same kind every day when it comes to Burt’s Bees Original Lip Balm. I work outside in the summer so I am exposed to the sun, wind and various temperature changes. This is the only lip balm that has worked for me.

It keeps my lips moist and protected at the same time. It smells and tastes great too. I certainly would recommend this product to anyone, any day! It’s not greasy, lasts a long time, and has a good scent. We only ever get the peppermint type and routinely purchase this three pack for stockings at Christmas time.

Fully fulfills its purpose from the first application. My lips are extremely dry and chapped if I don’t use balm one day. In the first photo I had 2-3 days without using any balm, my lips looked dark, swollen, with cracks and 2 skin that I tore off before taking the photo.

MY. FAVORITE. LIP. BALM. This color is gorgeous and really adds a little color to perk your face up even if you are not wearing much or any other makeup! The product is shaped less circular and more oval which I like also, it’s easier to get the ball on your lips instead of all around them like with some over lip balms!.

Decent lip balm, I didn’t see the color really pop or even show on my lips. Which i am fine with because I am not a fan of lots of attention to my lips! I felt like it was a kind of basic lip balm not bad but not the best I have used.

It was originally 8 dollars but I got it on sale, not sure that I would regularly buy this product on sale or full price!.

The product packaging is adorable. The smell is of a very light vanilla and the price is reasonable. It goes on with very sheer color that doesn’t slip or melt, not greasy. It makes your lips softer but I feel myself reapplying often.

I’m really enjoying these lip balms! I’ve been dealing with very dry lips lately, and these have been great to help combat that, and are convenient to keep in my handbag various places so I always have a tube available! The colors and flavors are oh so cute! This is by far one of my favorite flavors.

Plus these include natural shea, which is awesome for moisturizing the lips! These would make great gifts, favors, and stocking stuffers as well! Here are my personal rankings in order of my favorites to least favorite: Four-Pack Set: Totally tropical (So many faves in this set!), Super soft shea lip balm, Super fruits, Sweet treats (This would make a cute birthday gift!), Minty cool.

Two-pack set: Coconut sugarcane, Coconut milk (I don’t have this two pack yet, but this flavor is included in one of the four packs, so I already know I love it, and look forward to getting it!), Coconut Sugarcane and Pineapple lime, (Can you tell I love coconut yet 😉? These are amazing! 🤩), Mango Dragonfruit , Passionfruit Agave and Mango Dragonfruit, Raspberry Kiwi Splash (The packaging is soo adorable on this set! Love the coloring!) These are my rankings so far, but I hope to try more EOS products in the future! Also, some of the EOS lip balms are derma-tested hypoallergenic , not tested on animals 💗🠰, paraben phthalate-free, and gluten-free.

(But check the packaging on yours first to be sure!) The only negative I see with these is that some of the flavors aren’t labeled on the individual so it can be difficult to know which is which just from looking at it once you have several of these.

I think the price is a great value for these two products. They’re pretty much the same, but in different packaging. It smells exactly how you would imagine a mango. Sweet but not too overpowering. I love the sphere one the most just because it’s cute and it’s already round so you don’t have to kind of worry about shaping the lip balm like you do with the stick, if that makes since.

They’re both super easy to carry and don’t take up a lot of space. Products feel very moisturizing but I wouldn’t say that they’re long lasting. I have many lip balm products that withstand eating, etc.

These have to be constantly reapplied but it doesn’t deter me from buying the products again. 9/10.

I don’t wear full-on lipstick often, but I’m pale and need color on my lips to look alive. My lips are also chronically dry, and on top of that, I’m hyper-sensitive to artificial fragrance and my lips break out in tiny, painful bumps even with basic Chapstick.

All of this to say that I’m constantly searching for great lip balms, especially tinted ones. Honest Beauty tinted lip balm is now 100% my holy grail. It’s moisturizing and doesn’t irritate my lips or cling to dry spots, and it goes on quite pigmented.

I don’t expect incredible performance from a balm, but it can last for several hours and, best of all, it wears off evenly and leaves behind a stain on my lips so that I look natural and alive between applications.

I have the colors Blood Orange and Plum Drop, and they both look great with my pale, neutral-undertone skin. Plum Drop is basically a dupe for Clinique Almost Lipstick in Black Honey but is actually moisturizing (the Clinique dries me out a bit).

I will definitely be purchasing more colors, and I’m crossing my fingers that this will never be discontinued!.

I’ve really been leaning towards tinted balms lately, and i really like this one. I just received the color fruit punch. I was hoping it would be a brighter color for summer, but its more of a muted coral.

it wasn’t what I was looking for, but I still like it. It really feels like a balm, which I love, and has the slightest bit of color so you feel put together. Also applies very easy! No mirror needed.

I’d like to try additional colors. I’m fair skinned (but i consistenly sport a spray tan during summer months, so that affects the lip color appearance), dark hair, dark green eyes.

I have very chapped lips all year round. Had it as a child. Heredity for sure, my brother and sister suffer through the same. This lip balm has changed my life and have bought it ever since. Got my sister into it as well.

I see a lot of comments about the tint. The tint is light but it’s there. Get a lipstick if you want more coverage. A lip balm is meant for the moisture more than it’s color. I personally love the fruit punch on my skin tone.

It makes my lips come to life. Also note it’s ingredients if you get an allergic reaction before purchasing. Super important.

I stumbled on this chapstick by chance because it was the only kind the store had and it turned out I loved it. The peaches and cream chapstick really works for me. I’ve tried others like the original or cherry and its not the same.

Included are Peaches and Cream, Pink Lemonade and Cool Watermelon. My favorites are Pink Lemonade and Cool Watermelon because they have a great scent and flavor and remind me so much of summertime. My only problem and complaint is there is absolutely no spf lip protection in these products.

I really like these lip balms, thought they’re quite pigmented so it’s almost like a hydrating lipstick. The consistency is so creamy it feels amazing in the lips. I won’t say this is the best balm out there as I haven’t tried them all, but it’s my favourite so far and it does hydrate the lips better than a regular chapstick.

Flow is perfect for a neutral every day nude look, it’s such a nice colour and I can wear it and you wouldn’t even realise it was tinted balm. It just makes it look like I have perfect lips naturally.

I also have Rush for a pinker more dressed up vibe which is also still very pretty and natural. If you’re wanting something truly bold then probably better to opt for a real lipstick. Rush and Pulse were very similar in colour though, with rush just being slightly darker.

Because the tint is highly pigmented you do still need to be careful of smudging and product on teeth.

I added this on as a promo code to my last order (hence mentioning it’s a free sample; definitely NOT given by the company, lol), and I’m really glad I did. I’m going to go ahead and warn people that this review will be mildly gross because of the state my lips were in.

This is basically an exfoliator without the scrubbing for me. I have a huge issue with anxiety, and part of it includes biting/chewing my bottom lip which leads to it being dried out/cracked/chapped.

What was awesome about this balm, was that it essentially moisturized my lips to the point of all of that excess chapped skin coming off (not in a painful way; just in the way manual exfoliating would without it being raw).

Since it has hyaluronic acid, it is also meant to be moisturizing/add that protective barrier (there are a lot of benefits with hyaluronic acid, but I really don’t know the concentration this has in it, so I can’t speak to the whole range other than what I’ve noticed it provides).

The only cons are: • The peppermint/menthol smell might be a bit much for some people. It’s not overwhelming for me, and it doesn’t give me headaches. I feel it’s there to add that cooling illusion to the hydration.

I believe if people don’t like that peppermint/mentol smell, this isn’t for them. It definitely lingers •As others have mentioned, it’s not the longest lasting lip balm What I personally do to combat that, is use it as the protective layer under other balms/glosses which allows me to use any gloss/tinted balm I want without drying my lips out/accentuating chapped lips (since they’re not chapped right now after this).

Other than that, I just reapply as needed. I’m definitely buying more when this runs out because it’s been a huge success for me. I’m curious about the other colors too, but for the price, this is worth it in my case (I haven’t even put a dent in the promo sample).

I’ve got my fingers crossed that this will continue to work as well as it has been!.

I was so excited for this — the idea of having a tint and SPF in one product is perfect for me, especially on hot summer days when I don’t want to have to keep messing with reapplying spf and then lipstick or lip gloss over top.

The color is also very nice, and it’s buildable. That said, I found it to feel a bit more matte on my lips than I’m used to or expected. I think this would feel good to others who are used to wearing matte lipsticks, but I’m normally a tinted lip gloss wearer for my everyday.

The other issue I had was that the product came cracked down the middle inside the tube. The tube will raise the larger side of the cracked product up but will not lower it back down, so I have to push it down with my finger and mess with it to get the full lipstick up and ready to be applied which is unsanitary and has ruined the shape of the lipstick.

For as much money as the product costs, I expected better in this regard and won’t be repurchasing when this one has been used up.

This lip/cheek balm is PERFECT for simple days, or even glam up evenings. I Love the color BLUSH!! It is very moisturizing, and I’ve heard that claim from many other makeup lines, and have bought some, but they are not as moisturizing as these.

The blush and spice work as great cheek products for me. I like the blush for spring and summer and the spice for fall and winter. I also have the color Bare which I will use before or after a lipstick/lip gloss.

And I love that they are SPF! The only slight issue I ran into was my balm had been twisted up too high, and it stood still while twisting it down (had to gently press down). But, it did work perfectly fine the next time I used it.

AND I’m pretty sure it had to do with the temperature being 98 degrees outside! I would definitely recommend it!! And I have.

These r great! They feel soft, fluffy, light, matte texture on the lips. Love the red and berry tones on my lips, very flattering. I have the nude and pink and I actually don’t like those colors on my lips, just doesnt suit my skin tone, but I use them on my cheeks on my natural no makeup days and I’m obsessed! Easy natural sheer color that can be built up.

And of course SPF! They’re not super moisturing so if u have dry cracked lips this won’t be enough, however these do not irritate or dry out my lips like some lip products with spf can. Past SPF lip products I’ve used are chalky white undertones or make my lips peel/irritated.

But I have none of those issues with these. Hope you guys come out with more colors and maybe something in a glossy finish for my hydration.

So I was dying to try this new lip balm and I saw some of the recent LE launch on sale so I picked up both Red Maple Bloom and Deep into the Redwoods– Both are pretty but Deep into the Redwoods is GORGEOUS !! Its seriously one of if not the most gorgeous tinted lip balm I own and believe me; im a die hard lifelong addict of lip balms, oils, and glosses.

This color; in the tube looks like a tootsie roll. Lol. Its a deep nude. But on the lips its not brown it just gives your own lip color a lil kiss of depth. This is coming from someone who is a half a beat up from the palest person on earth.

Maybe. Both are super sheer. But just like a nude lip neutralizes and lightens your lips; Redwoods neutralizes while deepening your natural lip color and evening it out without adding additional pigments of red and pink –which you won’t need because they are already pre existing in your natural lip color; to varying degrees of course.

COVER GIRL PLEASE MAKE THIS COLOR PERMANENT!! Seriously; this is what the market is missing and we need more of these super sheer, glossy , deeper nudes to balance out all the pinks, reds and berries.

Its just so natural and so freaking stunning!! As for the rest of the lip balm; I only have the LE colors so perhaps the ones for sale above are different as ive read many reviews commenting on how pigmented they are–i can definitely say I would respectfully but firmly disagree.

Mine take some layering to build up. Its not a single-swipe kinda situation here. Its gonna take some elbow grease to get you there and that’s coming from someone who is see through pale. Hydration wise; meh.

I wouldn’t look to this to heal chapped lips; it is hydrating but in a sort of generic lip balm type of way. The formula is lightweight and moderately glossy and you won’t really feel it on your lips.

IMO; its like Cover Girl got their hands on Maybelline’s Baby Lips formula and duplicated it without the flavor or scent. The packaging is sort of boring and a little too chubby in diameter for my taste; however, its functional and the lid stays on when in my pockets and handbag and thats all that really matters.

So its like Baby Lips grew up and went to Law school. I deducted one star for lack of scent or flavor–id much prefer a strong yummy flavor or at least a tingly minty flavor as opposed to nothing. So in regards to that and the packaging it’s boring; but if you can get your hands on Deep into Redwoods; DO IT.

If you know me, I always have a lip balm with me as I loathe the feeling of dry, chapped lips! I have been using Covergirl’s Clean Fresh Lip Balm in the “Clear as Crystal” shade and I am so very impressed by it.

It goes on smoothly and I have nothing but good things to say about it! It surprisingly lasts a very long time (the advertisement claims that it actively hydrates for up to 24 hours, and this could quite definitely be true, as it even lasts a long while with my mask on!) The stick is nice and buttery.

The formula is quite moisturizing but does end up on the normal amount of moisture side once it “sets”. Crystal clear goes with any look and season, and I love it as it is both versatile and highlights my natural beauty.

The Covergirl cCean Fresh Tnted Lip blBalm is a good one! I tried the ‘Life Is Pink’ variation and I will tell you that it does give you a bit of pink color. Not too much. just the perfect amount. Giving you that little bit of a flushed look.

So you’re not totally bare. I like it because the pigment in my lips is a smidge faded in certain areas and this just kind of evens it out my lip color Again a light coverage! The balm itself feels wonderful on my lips.

It doesn’t Gunk up. I have to be very careful with anything that I put on my lips. Where my inner portion on my lip meets the outer portion of my lip, (that crease where the moisture hits the dryness), I get this film sometimes.

Depending on the product I’m using. So I must be very careful on what I try. this however, has passed the gunk test LOL! It leaves my lips feeling smooth, moisturized and just looking all around good.

Perfect for those days where you want to have a no makeup makeup look or you just don’t want to do any makeup at all! In the winter months it’s always good to have a balm at the ready. This one not only fits the bill, it also fits nicely in my purse!.

I can’t say enough positive words to describe how much I love this lip balm. Not going to lie the only thing that is a negative is the price, but when I get the result of soft subtle lips by using this delicious product, all the negativity about the price is gone.

Purely addicting I use it all day, but put a heavy layer of it at night and sometimes I will wake up and put more on in middle of the night to get that extra nourishment and moisturizer. This lip balm not only works great, it smells FANTASTIC as well, subtle hints of rose, very gently and beautifully done.

As much as I use this product a little bit goes a long way and I get 4-6 months of use.

This lip balm is my all time favorite lip balm. I’ve receive this as a gift with purchase a few years ago. Prior to the covid epidemic I would wear this under neath matte lipstick and it did not cause my matte lip stick to smudge or smear.

In other words it plays well with lipsticks, lip serum and etc. The product is creamy but light and soaks deeply into the surface of my lips. Almost like a heavy lip serum. It does have a pleasant rose fragrance.

I also use this during the day and prior to bed time sparely. A little of this product does go a long and it last me a few months. I’m excited and can not wait for my full tube to arrive in the mail.

Hopefully in the near future one is made with sunscreen/sun protection and fragrance free. Although personally fragrance does not bother me but I know others who are sensitive to fragrance. The ingredient list is short and simple which is good for potency.

Overall I will repurchase.

One of my holy grail items. Put it on once and your lips will be smooth all day. Can be written by itself out under anything. I always carry this with me in the winter and summer at the least. It smells so pretty and has a good taste.

I cannot recommend this enough. One bottle will last you almost forever, it feels like. With how little you need to reapply, a little goes a long, long way. I’ll also use a spot if I ever have any dryness anywhere and it fixes it right away.

Very disappointed in the new formula. Let me tell you – I LOVED the old formula. I continued to buy the old formula until I noticed they were all expired (you could get them on sites like Walmart, etc.

). I had heard the new formula wasn’t as great so I was apprehensive to switch but finally decided it was time. I finally switched and all the things I heard were true. It tastes awful and it hardly lasts! And part of why it doesn’t last is because I want it off my lips asap because it gets in my mouth and tastes like sunscreen.

It also goes on thicker than the previous formula and it is quite sticky. At least I enjoyed the good one for several years but now back to the drawing board for a new go-to everyday lip balm.

First of all, this is a petrolatum based lip balm, which is a safe dermatologist recommended ingredient and one of the most researched at that. I’ll never understand how “health conscious” people will cause such a scare over petrolatum and parabens, then douse their skin in highly irritating ingredients like lemon or lavender oil that will lead to skin issues.

Petrolatum is not an ingredient you need to be scared of. When it comes to lip balms, you want an thicker barrier because the skin on your lips is much thinner than the skin on your face, which is also why the SPF 30 is appreciated.

Skin cancer of the lips is more common than people think, and an area we need to protect just as much as our face. I do wish that this was a mineral instead of chemical though. Not because chemical sunscreens are harmful.

They’re not, but because there’s an increased risk of irritation even if you may not experience irritation from chemical sunscreens on the face/body. I had no issues with this lip balm, but I gave a friend the same one and she experienced irritation around her lips due to the chemical sunscreens even though she uses a chemical sunscreen on her face.

Again, the the lips are highly sensitive due to how thin the skin is. I’m guessing they went chemical because it’s easier to fit into cosmetic formulas and doesn’t leave any white cast. For me, it’s not a deal breaker because my lips tolerate them fine, but if you’re sensitive to chemical sunscreens, then it’s something to consider.

Other than that, great product.

This lip balm applies like petroleum jelly, but dries my lips, and tastes horrible, like sunscreen. I have to spit and rinse my mouth to get the taste out. It leaves a tacky residue. I am not one to lick my lips too.

Not sure what I am doing wrong as compared to other reviewers and friends who are fans of this, but I am bummed and disappointed I can’t use this from the Super Goop bundle it came in.

I cannot even believe how far technology has come. This is literally the best thing I have every felt on my lips other than a homemade balm (that was not as long lasting). I am so impressed by this – i had a particularly dry night and it really messed up my lips, i could hardly talk without my lips hurting.

The consistency is so soft, good consistency, it doesn’t feel greasy or glossy or sticky or gross in anyway. You can feel there’s something on your lips, but it feels good. I plan to try out the lavendar flavor soon.

Also! There’s no taste!!! I’m so impressed this exists. What a time to be alive!! Also, it’s 100% natural…what?! This is seriously blowing my mind how good a tube of chapstick is. This is dope!! I love technology!.

Hunting for a hydrating, flushed, your-lips-but-better? Look no further! I absolutely love the subtle wash of color this gives your lips and the pigment lasts for a good amount of time! Sunset nude is a warm, hint of peach color that is great for an everyday, neutral look! It’s a balm! Very hydrating, adds a sheer-type shine and feels fantastic.

I got this in my Walmart beauty box and I have to say I’m really disappointed in it. I absolutely love anything coconut but this one barely smells like coconut. Also with this formulation I find I have to apply it so many times during the day that it’s only lasting me about 2 weeks.

I’ve used others in the total hydration line and they’ve been great. This one has a slightly gritty texture to it and I don’t see any difference in my lips as far as their claims that you are going to see a difference in the appearance of your lips the suppleness of your lips and this one really missed the mark for me.

I actually end up putting a layer of regular Vaseline over it. I won’t be repurchasing this.

I LOVE the color. Midnight Magenta is perfect! The weight is perfect. not sticky at all. What I DISLIKE about this product is that it is a “weird” smell and taste. It’s almost nauseating. Very chemically.

I had to throw the tube out because the smell/taste was gross. Otherwise, it would be perfect and I would stock the HECK up on it. So sad.

This is the best gloss that cost just coins compared to other brands. I will say right away that I do not use this as a single product (although I would really like this, but it flows very much from the lips).

BUT, at the same time, this is is the best lip gloss that I have ever found, just need to add: contour pencil and your favorite liquid matte lipstick. I took darker shade of pencil(No name, similar to old Kylie waterproof matte lip liner, some Marsala shade), made a contour with drew vertical lines on the lips imitating wrinkles, applied ABH Crush matte liquid lipstick, and then applied just few little drops of this chapstick (nearly Nude).

It’s looks and feels so good, ABH usually make lips dry, but with this chapstick on top – it feels so comfortable. Of course it is transfers like any gloss. But this gloss looks expensive, no micro shimmer pieces, just a glossy glassy finish.

Really love the smell ! Like it smell realllyyy good. The packaging is small and cute, it can easily hold in your pockets or a mini purse , it was not damaged and had all necessary info. It was gentle and moisturizing and had a small tint when on the lips.

Would definitely try again, and I also wanted to try the other flavors !.

I’ve tried so many different chapsticks over the years and yet I always come back to this. Some other chapsticks work for a short period of time but then I’m back with chapped lips. I have so many of these little guys spread over the house and in numerous bags and purses.

If it works, it works! As long as I have this my lips are smooth. I lowered the rating a tad though because while it maintains the moisture in my lips it doesn’t do anything above and beyond.

Chapstick brand is my favorite, go-to brand for chapstick and hydration. I have tried other brands but they do not compare to this. Other brands have dried out my lips even more but not this one. I love the original chapstick flavor the best.

Doesn’t leave a bad taste in your mouth either. Great price as it lasts a while. I would definitely recommend this product!.

I’ve purchase this product because I have been in need for a nice on the go lip balm. I’ve normally use drunk elephant lippe lip balm but I’ve always wanted to try something from the Chanel line. I’m not a huge make up kind of girl, and I’ve already own a perfume from the line.

This lip balm itself did not wow me. The packaging is best, and it very sleek, elegant, and looks amazing for any occasion. I love the twist packaging and it very sturdy. It is a one of a kind packaging.

that has wow like no other The product inside of the packaging is not as impressive as their hydra beauty lip balm (that comes in a jar packing). The hydra beauty lip balm seems to provide intense hydration and moisture to the lips.

The Rouge coco Balume has a soft and butter feel to it so the application process is much easier than your typical lip balm. However, I do not think this lip balm is suited for the brutal winter months.

The lasting power does not seem to last as long compared to the hydra beauty lip balm. I find myself having to reapply it every 45 minutes or so. It just does not feel like it is truly hydrating my lips.

I only use this lip balm 3 times a day, maybe 3-4 days out of the week and I have not ran out. I’ve had this container of lip balm for about 2 months now. It’s a possibility that I will repurchase solely because of my love for packaging.

SPF would not be a bad ingredient to add to the lip balm for the summer months. My honest opinion is that I’m indecisive because the product is not a complete miss, and it is not sticky unlike some lip balms, but it is not super hydrating either.

It may work well under lipstick too.

The Chanel Rouge Coco Baume (Hydrating Conditioning Lip Balm) is hands-down the absolute definition of excellence & perfection! It’s the ONLY hydrating lip balm I’ve ever found (after going through countless other brands) to fully RESTORE & HEAL my physically cracked lips.

I have an issue with corners of my mouth becoming so dehydrated that they crack & bleed. This lip balm is the ONLY one I’ve found which will HEAL them. I don’t care what the cost is—When my lips are so dehydrated that they’re bleeding—I’ll pay anything to obtain relief… And Chanel doesn’t fail! There’s no color provided.

However, it can be used underneath or over any lip color—Just be aware that if you apply this balm over a lip color—Then, the lip color will rub off onto the Chanel lip balm—But, you can always reuse it with the color on there.

The rubbed off color isn’t intense or take a piece of tissue paper & gently wipe it off. I use Chanel products, only—So this doesn’t present an issue for me. But, it might for others—Just friendly advice/tips.

I’m happy I came across this hydrating lip balm it’s free of mineral oil which is amazing because it’s really caring not like many mineral oil based balms that only leaves a coat on your lips that causes dry lips underneath the balm which is obviously the exact opposite of what it should do.

The Chanel rouge coco baume balm is pricey I haven’t tried other special mineral oil free balms so I can’t give you a review of other products but there are many alternatives who do the same for less.

I bought it and don’t regret it because it’s a high quality packaging lol I always loose the caps of lip balms and this one is more solid. I love the balm because I never had any skin irritation problems while using products of the Chanel hydra beauty range which is rare because I have sensitive skin and my skin is usually reacting to products with more than 4 ingredients haha so long story short : it’s a good product so It get’s 5 stars but since it’s only a lip balm you shouldn’t have a hard time finding a good product for a better price 🙂 I’m gonna update this review as soon as I try something similar :).

I used the old formula/version of this product for about 2. 5 years. I bought multiple colors. My favorite was sparkling pink. I was running low and went to the store to buy a replacement and I was surprised to find that the product has changed a lot.

The size of the lip balm used to be more narrow. This new version is fatter. I thought the old version was easier to apply. The formula has changed as well and it does not stay on my lips nearly as long.

This version will completely disappear from my lips quickly. It also has a minty feel whereas the old version did not and I prefer it without the mint. They also changed the colors, there is no pink color that matches sparkling pink and the reds are different from the red color that I also used to buy.

None of the choices have any shimmer and the pink is much lighter, it looks like I am wearing barely any color. This isn’t what I wanted from this product. I was a really loyal user of these but they no longer offer what I want so I will have to see if a competitor offers something more similar to the old version of this product.

I don’t understand why brands are often to tempted to fix things that are not broken. If someone wants Chapstick with a little color then you may actually like this product however you could find much cheaper alternatives.

Before the product was more unique in my opinion, which made me more willing to splurge and pay the higher price.

Okay, remember back in like the early 2000s when the Venom brand was a thing and they came out with all of those lip plumping glosses that stung? They had one product that was a primer/balm, and this smells and tingles exactly like that.

I think it must be the peppercorn in it, but it was a very nostalgic moment. Anyway, it’s not a harsh plumping effect, just a slight cooling feeling that goes away quickly. The balm stays pretty glossy for about an hour before it settles into a stain-y look.

I think while it’s glossy, it’s quite hydrating, but I’m skeptical about the 24 hr claim. I do absolutely adore this color though. It’s not as deep on me as it is in the listing photo, but it’s definitely got a bit of pigment.

Since it’s sheer, it’s easy and quick to apply – you don’t need a lip brush and 20 min in front of a mirror to get it right. Basically, it’s a red I can wear in the office without looking too made up or needing to fix it all the time.

If you’re in to Asian beauty, I actually got this because it had a fresh and dewy red look reminiscent of youthful Korean makeup. I almost bought this shade in one of Givenchy’s other formulas, but they were all more pigmented and brighter, and a little more intimidating.

With this one, you can wear it under a mask (a crucial consideration these days) without worrying it will require a lot of effort to touch up.

Ok ok! I spent some time deciding how I feel fully on this product that I received free in exchange for my full and honest opinion! First of all the packaging is beautiful I absolutely love the tube it?s very cute and it?s also nicely made.

The actual product goes on so smooth even though it?s a lip balm/gloss it goes on smooth and thick like a lipstick! I appreciate that because you can feel the coverage. The color is extremely transparent but it is very buildable.

Definitely something great to keep in your handbag for on the go. It does have ingredients in it for lip plumping and you can definitely feel them activate without feeling too much of a sensation. My one and only complaint that kept this from being a complete five star review is the fact that it does not last nearly as long as it is supposed to.

You will be lucky to get over two hours of wear before you might feel the need to reapply- once again not a huge issue because the application is super smooth and quick you can do it at a red light. However, I would love to put it on once and make it at least halfway through the day.

All in all it?s a really great little product and I would purchase it again!.

I recieved this lipstick complimentary from Influenster in shade 400. First let’s start with the presentation and packaging. I must admit, it is very very gorgeous. The bullet looks so velvety, I dont think I’ve ever owned a lipstick with the bullet like that, and it makes it feel very high end.

Although personally, I do think it could have been slightly heavier and a magnetized cap would have brought it all home. As for the formula, I was actually very pleasantly surprised. I’ll start with the color, as I’m usually a light nude person and on my skintone this is a deep, vampy shade when applied full on.

It’s a beautiful color that does compliment my lighter skin tone so I like that. I’m actually sad I received this color when spring is just around the corner as the only time I’d wear this is in the fall and winter.

That said, the product was VERY comfortable on the lips. I’m quite surprised as I don’t think I’ve ever felt anything like it, it literally feels like nothing is on the lips. Not sucking the moisture, not giving moisture, just nothing.

To me this is a plus, as even the more comfy matte finishes alway feels even a little bit drying, but with this one I even forget that I’m wearing it. I did not test it out for 16hrs because realistically I don’t wear lipsticks that long, but the color stayed saturated and in place for about a good 7 hours.

As I said, I’m more of a nude lip person, so I probably wouldn’t wear this deep color very much. However, I did try sheering it out on the lips and it gives this really cool 90s midtone brown lip color that’s more my everyday speed and I’ve been enjoying it like that once I was done testing it out full coverage.

I typcially I wouldn’t buy a lipstick this expensive, but if the formula and color is special, I don’t mind paying. Given the comfy formula and the tones of nudes in this finish, I really feel like one of the middle shades of the line would be my perfect “nude.

I received this Rouge Dior lipstick in 300 Nude Style Velvet to try out complementary in exchange for my honest review from Influenster. The actual casing of the lipstick is durable, heavyweight, and the container doesn?t open without intent.

Velvet is definitely a perfect word to describe how this feels on my lips! The lipstick is pretty lightweight not overly thick and feels like a velvet powdery soft texture, when I rub my lips together.

The finish is definitely matte, but it doesn?t feel as drying as some other brands I have used with a matte finish. I love the color and it is just a few shades darker than my natural lip, but makes me feel less washed out as pale as I am from winter.

I always feel like nude colors look orangey when I apply them, but this is definitely more of a burgundy/brown and one of the few nudes I?ve loved. I am usually someone who is habitually reapplying lipstick every 45 mins, because I am afraid of it moving out of place or wearing off, but I didn?t need to reapply that often.

Even if the lipstick did rub off, it didn?t look terrible, because it blended with my natural lip. This is my first Dior lipstick, and the thing that took the most getting used to, is that the lipstick is fragranced.

If you smell the lipstick itself, it is perfumed and when you apply it, you can continue to smell the perfume throughout the day from your lips. I didn?t find the perfume to be a turnoff, just rather something I wasn?t used to.

Overall, I really love the color, wearability, texture, and everything about this lipstick and shade. I will repurchase when I run out of this one!.

As someone who worked at sephora for a few years, I always loved Dior’s lip products and was a big fan of the shades and different finishes. Of course, it being Dior, it is pricey for a lipstick so I would definitely consider it a splurge.

The new velvet matte formula feels so velvety soft without feeling dry or powdery. It’s a very creamy formula and feels super comfy on the lips and I feel like it didn’t exaggerate any dryness I had despite it being a matte lipstick.

It doesn’t last super long, if you eat or drink you’ll definitely want to reapply, but it lasts longer than I anticipated for it being pretty creamy. I normally gravitate towards peachy nude shades, but I really loved the shade 100 despite it being more of a mauve nude.

It’s such a beautiful nude shade and I actually really love it on and can definitely see it being a great shade for all year round. I’m also obsessed with the packaging of this lipstick, it just feels so luxurious and makes me feel so boujee.

I highly recommend splurging on this lipstick and treating yourself if you’re on the market for a soft creamy matte lipstick! This formula feels like no other lipstick I’ve tried and I’ve probably tried nearly most brands lipsticks.

The lip-caring ingredients in it are great for keeping your lips soft and hydrated and I really love how Dior went in a more eco-friendly route with making this lipstick refillable, I adore that idea so much! *I recieved from Influenster for my review.

The Givenchy Rose Perfecto Liquid Balm in shade 011 is the best lippie I have ever owned- and I’ve owned hundreds. I purchased this myself, and I’m so glad I did. As you can see from the before and after I posted it makes my lips look so much larger and plumper and oh so juicy! I’m not wearing anything on my lips other than this liquid balm in the photo- no liner no nothing.

I’ve been obsessed with this shade from Givenchy for years now- the name of it is Noir Révélateur. They made a solid balm and a lip liner in this shade (which I own and love) but this new liquid balm, which is Noir Révélateur marbled with another classic Givenchy shade Rose Perfecto, far surpasses them.

It appears to be a deceptively dark berry color beautifully swirled with a baby pink, but as you can see it’s only a wash of color once applied. The formula is top notch. Besides applying like liquid silk, it’s also very soothing and moisturizing upon application as it contains 97% skincare ingredients like hyaluronic acid which is naturally plumping, vitamin C, shea butter, and pink pepper, all of which improve the volume and health of your lips.

The color and skincare effects last throughout the day as well. I truly can’t say enough about this lippie,! You just have to try it!.

I received the Givenchy Rose Perfecto Liquid Lip Balm complimentary from Influenster in exchange for my honest opinion. I was super excited about this product and it’s plumping promise as with age it seems lips start to disappear! So when it arrived I saw I was gifted the color Black Pink 011.

Immediately I went online to look up this shade and learn about it first hand and it’s beautiful…. online. The packaging of this product is elegant and all a girl (or boy) could ever ask for! Anyone would be delighted pulling this little gem out of their bag to reapply.

The applicator is long enough for the fullest of lips but also has a delicate enough tip for thinner lips. The consistency of the lip balm isn’t too thick or thin, but just right if you apply properly.

You don’t need much which is always a delight when you want your product to last longer than a minute! I’ll be honest, the color I received wasn’t what I expected. It went on “black pink,” like REALLY BLACK PINK.

All I could think was so not my style!!! Of course my three year old was like oh put some on me mommy! But in the spirit of being fair I left the lip balm on and gave it a try. My initial impression, after the color shock, was the tingling.

You get this fun tingling to your lips. It’s not unpleasant, it’s almost like a warm buzz. There is a slight smell. It took me a minute to place it. It isn’t a perfume smell as much as it’s the pink peppercorn used to aid in the plumping aspect.

Yes I ran to my kitchen to grind up pink peppercorn to compare! Over the days I used this lip balm, I learned with the black pink that if I blended it in either using my finger or by rubbing my lips together, the ‘black’ in the color wasn’t as prominent.

This was a win. The color is still a little more on the berry side than I personally prefer, but it is a berry color as Givenchy promises and is a beautiful color. I would definitely recommend this product.

It does have a minty feel initially as it plumps your lips slightly. Color is great: just a touch of dark purple that comes off mauve-ish and my lips but better shade after a while. It has a smooth and silky feel upon application yet not sticky like other glosses.

It keeps lips moisturized and does not make my lips peel or pill as it dries down after a couple of hours. Its a balm, not a lipstick so i don’t expect long wear from this. Packaging is excellent: heavy glass bottle with a leather detail on the handle, so pretty.

It feels luxe, it looks luxe, and some may even say it smells luxe. Again, if it wasnt for my dislike for floral fragrances, id buy this in all the shades. However, as a plus, if the rose fragrance is from rose oil extract, i know this would have superb skin benefits.
