It’s a beautiful board – the wood pattern is really lovely. I also like how it has gripper pads on the bottom corners so that it doesn’t slide around. It seems to be getting scratched up basically immediately upon using it, so I docked a star for that.

Omg the bestttttttttttt cutting board I have ever used. It is heavier than the plastic ones however I liked it because its big so I can do a lot of cutting at the same time. Also more presentable on the kitchen counter.

May leave some colour when washed for the first 1 or 2 times but overall I am totally I made this purchase!.

Very nice cutting board set. I treated it with cutting board oil, and conditioner, upon receipt. Since then, I’ve used a cleaver on the large one several times. There are no dings on it, which leads me to believe this will be quite durable if I take proper care of it.

I also love the juice groove. I chop and dice a lot of veggies per week, and the smaller boards are also holding up. For me, the set is a keeper.

I definitely won’t be needing to go to the store anytime soon for new boards! These boards are the best quality and size I have seen so far. The medium boards and small are perfect for everyday use. I used the largest one for grilling and taking it to the grill, fits all my meats and veggies on it.

I don’t have to plate the steak anywhere and just serve it on the big board. The juice grooves are the best! None of the steak juices got on the table and looked real good! Very comfortable.

Beautiful teak cutting board that I actually used to make a fiber blending board. I glued and tacked down carding cloth and between the cloth and the board, I build a fiber blending board for under $70 (the cheapest one I could find online was over $170).

The one I made using this teak cutting board is much prettier!.

Beautiful board! It is lighter in weight than I expected, which will make it easier to handle. Just the right size, too. The juice canal will make it great for carving roasts and other meats.

Good cutting board for my bar. Good size, and great tactile feedback when cutting citrus fruits for cocktails. I just wish it had a juice channel.

It was a christmas gift. The design was beautiful, but after putting it out 2 or 3 days on my cupboard, we realized we kept getting small mounds of saw dust. Horrified to find out that it had powder boaring bugs in the wood.

Needless to say, had to contact customer service for a credit on something else.

This is a sturdy but little too heavy cheese board. It has a neat storage compartment for cheese knives, and a plenty of space for all of your cheese, fruits,and crackes. you name it. It is expensive, but you get what you pay for.

P. S. I would add a personalized engraving, but such service is not offered.

Bought for a Christmas gift. It is really nice. Love the weight and the way the serving pieces are hidden in the drawer.

A sturdy board. Olive wood which is very pleasing to have on display (can be used also for serving salads, cheese or cooked meats). Stays put when you are using it, doesn’t mark because it is so hard.

Unfortunately neither John Lewis nor Waitrose sells the mineral oil which is recommended to maintain the board. It has been difficult to source this oil.

This was beautiful though smaller than expected. I had measured and had accounted for the non-uniform size but it was still quite small. Despite this I kept it because it is so beautiful and really lifts a table.

I’m very happy with the quality and finish of it – a special piece.

It shipped from California. I’m sending this to my niece in California. **If you plan on giving it as a gift, be sure you’re ok with sending it with no display box. I mean the type of box that would give you a preview of the item and sometimes features of the item.

It will come in a regular brown cardboard box. Then the actual box is also a brown cardboard box. I’m downgrading the rating because I would’ve liked it to be in a nicer box. If this was for me, I wouldn’t care, but this is a nice gift and now I’m stuck trying to figure out how to repackage it in a way to make it look nicer.

Recently bought a smaller version on zulily. Loved and used often but wished for a larger size to use when serving more than a few people. When this came up recently I quickly ordered it. I have used it several times and it goes wonderfully with smaller board.

It is much smaller than it looks and than expected. The little, ceramic tray is very small/narrow and shallow. also not as long as it appeared in the photo. Not sure the quality but at least it was on sale and cheapest from target in comparison to competitors.

First one I purchased, the round one had an extra layer of sealant on it or something. I decided to try purchasing another to see if it was just a fluke and now I am super happy! Just wonderful! Excellent quality and they are HUGE.

I purchased 2 sets of boards because a reviewer regretted purchasing only one set. So glad I did. These boards are pretty big and beautiful. I plan on using them for decorating when not in use as charcuterie boards.

I purchased the small round and the small rectangle boards and they are so much nicer than I expected. Perfect size for a quick cut of anything or for small charcuterie boards, a new home gift. Love that they have a hole so you can hang up somewhere.

I loved the ease of the purchase I did find some other boards after the fact that I could get monogrammed. They are really sturdy they came later than my family get together there is always next year.

I just got this and really liked the different grains of wood, but once I rinsed it like it said to before use and pat dry the wood had tiny splinters all over. You can’t serve food on it. Very disappointing.

Great quality bread/charcuterie board by Choice! The board itself is not too large – in fact, for a “medium” size board, it feels somewhat smaller than expected. However, it is a fantastic complement to my 24″ x 18″ heavy board whenever I just want to cut up a few fruits or vegetables quickly.

The handle works very well and the overall construction is solid, although it is not one piece of wood. As a whole, it is a very reasonably priced board for the utility that it provides. So far, Choice has come through on both boards I’ve purchased, and I’ll definitely look to them for future replacements if necessary.

The perfect surface for my simple wood-burning class. They came as described and need minimal sanding for optimal results to prepare my samples before the class. Thanks for providing a consistently solid cutting board.

These boards are the PERFECT size for our flatbreads. I love how natural they are, even the weight is solid. They display so nicely and contrast the food perfectly. When washing, we do not soak them long or scrub too hard because we want them to last.

First of all, this walnut cutting board is simply beautiful! It is a workhorse, too! I use it for every chopping task I have throughout the day. It washes and dries easily–no matter how vigorously I clean it.

A few drops of your oil once a week is all it needs to stay healthy and glowing. It is sturdy, not heavy, and it looks great out on the counter. I’d been getting by with the glued bamboo boards my market stocks, but they are fragile and of poor quality.

I’m a convert to “Our Place” craftsmanship now. Real wood is superior in every way—treat yourself! And they make terrific gifts, too!.

Bad quality. Too heavy and one of the most horrible creations. I spent around $500 to buy items from our place. But this item is one of the horrible purchase. I am just planning to throw it in the trash.

Just save the money and get a $10 or $20 wooden board from target. It will last for ever. It looks like they are giving these items to the youtube folks and they are just making these reviews which is why I bought.

This is a good proof that don’t just believe people without testing it out yourself.

As soon and I received my cutting board I noticed that it was a bit rough on top and almost felt splintery. I decided to wash and scrub it to see if that helped, but it didn’t really do anything. I received the board around holidays and I was also getting ready to move, so I decided to see if I could use some cutting board oil on it to make it less rough once I moved into my new place.

I just got around to doing this and it doesn’t seem to have helped at all. I am very disappointed as I don’t feel comfortable using a cutting board that feels like it will leave splinters in my food to cut anything on.

I was so excited to get a nice looking wood cutting board that was pretty enough to leave out on the counters, but this just wasn’t it.

As a cutting board, the product is high quality, heavy duty and thicker than most standard boards. The only reason for four stars instead of five is that the quality of the printing could improve. The color penetration of the personalized printing is a bit inconsistent.

We had a family name printed on the board and the top half of the printing is much stronger penetration that the bottom, so it looks a bit two toned.

Bought this for a small galley kitchen I had just created in the back part of my house for guests a couple of years ago as an it’ll do for now mini-sized food prep solution. After throwing out some old chopping boards about a year ago that had seen better days, I started using this in the main kitchen of the house for chopping herbs, garlic and as a cheese board.

I’ve now moved house and the same little chopping board is hanging up in my new apartment kitchen as it was still looking good and had become an essential part of my food prep tools. It probably needs a bit of a light sand and re-oiling now, but it hasn’t harboured any food odours over time since my initial olive oil priming.

The trick is after every single use (as with any chopping board) to give it a little scrub with a nylon kitchen brush and some dish washing detergent followed by a rinse under the hot water tap and then propping it up vertically to air dry.

Anyone who thinks it appropriate to put wooden chopping boards through an hour-long high temp caustic deluge, i. e. dish washer cycle, is assuming that wood has the same qualities as materials engineered specifically for the purpose – it doesn’t.

As with anything, if you treat a chopping board well and properly, then you’ll get better/more effective and longer use out of it. The board has also completely resisted staining and hasn’t yet split nor splintered.

Admittedly, when I bought this board I had to choose carefully as some of the others seemed to be filled with plastic wood to hide holes and divots in the wood, and I’ve never soaked the board nor allowed it to remain soiled or wet on the top surface for longer than mere minutes.

At this price point (only 5 bucks!) it’s caveat emptor, so please be picky in the store, not after when you notice flaws you hadn’t looked out for – spilled milk, folks. This board is Polish-made as well, which is a refreshing change from pretty much everything else in IKEA now being made in China and Bangladesh.

Although not a bad thing, there are sometimes supply chain issues regarding ethical treatment of workers and sustainability of materials. Hopefully IKEA is well aware of labour conditions and materials provenance, and so keeps on top of this at all times for the sake of everyone.

Well priced, solid board. I haven’t had a chance to use it though, as I followed the instructions and the spent the last two days oiling it. That part I didn’t like but I suppose that’s normal? There was one noticeable gap but not enough to make me want to to back for an exchange.

Just a bit of a quality control disappointment. I like the solid thickness and weight. I also like the size. Small kitchen friendly so far.

I bought this product over years, and I was surprised from the bad quality this time. I use this wood chopping board as cheese board or just simple use. Always hand wash since the heat might affect the glue, but from first use the tip of the board came out.

I ignored at first since it might happen and I can still use it. I think I used it only 4 times but I can see the product is already breaking apart. I hope I can exchange this or return.

The Quality is REALLY good! It is VERY small so initially I opted to cancel my order when I saw it in person BUT I couldn’t stop thinking about how darn cute it is AND the quality. It’s nice for kids or even for self.

I was very excited to find this charcuterie board from Better Homes & Gardens and give it a try. I do not do elaborate food displays, but this charcuterie board certain can accommodate any of your small sized charcuterie needs.

The board is very easy to clean. It has a very nice appearance. Any foods would display nicely on this board. It is fun to use. And it also would make a very nice gift! I would not hesitate to buy more of these.

I was disappointed (the reason for 3 stars). The wood hasn’t been stained or finished so food and/or liquids cannot be used on it because that would ruin the wood. The write up states it’s 12″ but only 8-1/2″ of the board is ‘useable’ – the rest is the handle.

I saw the picture of the board showing Happy Home and assumed that was already on the board. It wasn’t. I have to do that myself. That’s my fault for not reading the fine print. If you are artsy and know how to do that type of thing, I think it would look really cute.

Paint or burn your family name, or your favorite dish on it! But what I will use this item for is for setting hot pots and pans on! The 1/2″ thickness makes it perfect for protecting my countertops and tables!.

I’ve ordered 3 of these boards so far and 2 of them were great, but the last one wasn’t up to quality as the others. It didn’t appear to have the same finish as the other boards. There was a noticeable scratch and even a small chip in the wood.

I’ve been using these boards to put resin on and gift to family members, so I was disappointed then 3rd board I got was poor quality. Images attached of the good boards!.
