20 Best Charge Blades Mh4U (2022 Updated)

I’m a sign-maker and I’ve been using the Z Series blades for years. They are no longer the quality they once were. They aren’t as sharp and they are only good for a few cuts before I have to use a new blade.

This has been an issue for the past 18 months. Disappointing. They don’t do as good as job as they once did and I go through them quickly. I would not recommend them to a friend based on the above. However, there aren’t too many options on the market and I until I find something equal to how the Z Series blades once were, I have no choice but to continue to use them.

I have not used it long enough to be able to say if it works 3x longer than the standard manufacturer’s blades, but I can tell you a number of things about its performance. I have been using vinyl cutters for many years and have a Silhouette SD and a Portrait.

I only cut small stencils with vehicle VIN numbers in a stencil font for an etching kit my company sells. The Silhouette blades have worked okay. I discovered that little pieces of stencil that come loose work their way inside the blade housing.

This prevents the blade from turning properly and the small letters and numbers begin to get torn up. The end white piece unscrews so it is possible to clean them out. The last two Silhouette blades I bought have been nothing but trouble.

They were not cutting all the way through all the characters and when the blade was extended, they ripped up the vinyl. It was as if I got shipped used blades. This Premium blade also opens up to clean out the small pieces, but it does not seem to accumulate nearly as many as the standard blades.

The standard blade clicks from position (number) to number, so it is not possible to set it in-between. The Premium blade allows one to set it in-between the numbers. This is important if you use different types and thicknesses of vinyl like I do.

Inorder to do our VIN etching kits at a low price, we use scrap vinyl from our sign making business. We use large commercial cutters for that. In fact, thousands of dollars in cost difference, the large cutters just are not made with cutting out small stencil characters and the Silhouette cutters do a better job.

The Premium blade cuts cleaner and more uniform.

This blade is worth every penny! I no longer use the auto blade in my Silhouette Cameo 4. I’ve had ZERO issues with this blade, and it’s lasted 9 months so far. I craft daily and it’s still going strong.

Definitely recommend!.

Product is the same thing you would find at Hobby Lobby for a much cheaper price. Works much better than the auto blade and havent had any issues with it. Only thing Ive had to get used to is changing the depth when cutting multiples things on one sheet.

The only thing that I’ve noticed that bugs me is they have no blue stripe im not sure if this is just a manufacturing mistake or whether they just stopped printing the stripes on these now but it was always a great way to identify these as the best blades made ever! So PLEASE PUT THE BLUE STRIPES BACK ON THE “BLUE” BLADES !!!!!.

Always cutting up boxes at work. A lot of them are those thick ones with the wax coating. Most cheaper blades cant even hardly do it but Irwin cuts right through. There is no lever to get blades out, you have to work them out by hand and they dont want to come out sometimes.

It bothered me so much that I transferred them.

If you want the Irwin blades with blue printing on them these are them. Blade’s a blade but I like the printing to show wear.

The 7 1/4 Demo Demon cut through a vinyl/nailed plywood/floor tile/plywood stack to remove and 80 year old kitchen floor. and found a few lag bolts without dulling or loosing teeth. (Roughly 800 feet of cuts.

) Cut ring nails cleanly in half in many cases. Still cuts smooth and fast for framing. (I bought a spare for the floor project and have yet to need it. ).

While knowing this is a cheap demo blade meant to be trashed (recycled) in short period of time, I still wasn’t impressed with this specific blade by Freud. Perhaps too much paint on blade.

While other blades like Dewalt are good, and I am a Dewalt fan, Diablo blades blow away the competition.

It seemed like I was constantly needing to go to the store to get the regular #11 blades, as they either went dull way too fast, or the tips kept breaking on them. I had no idea X-ACTO had Z-Series blades, until getting on eBay, trying to find a better deal on blades than what I was constantly paying.

I saw the #11 Z-Series blades and how much they were and decided to make that kind of investment for blades, even though it was way more than what I was paying for blades. Turns out, these blades are amazing, and very much worth the extra cost.

So far I have yet to break a tip off a blade, and the blade lasts forever! If I had to gauge how much longer they last, compared to the regular blades, it would be about 8 to 10 times longer. Only thing I wish for now is that there are more blade types available in the Z-Series.

I am finding the Z-Series to be a big improvement over the regular X-Acto blades. I cut thin strips of paper with them and I am getting 3 to 4 times as many clean cuts per blade. In addition the tip isn’t breaking off all the time.

I have a couple of retractable exacto blade handles and a gerber tool that only work with genuine exacto blades. The blades that I got do not fit.

Cutting was slightly quicker but overall, for the price difference, this was not much better than the Rubi wheel. Also within a week and a half the wheel caught, bent and piece flew off. I have been tiling for 26yrs and using grinders on site for yrs and in my opinion an unsafe product.

Manufactures were contacted and deemed me to have mitred with product and wheel had overheated, this was not the case so be warned.

Cuts quick and clean with very little chipping out. Thin blade therefore less dust. Pleased with quality.

Have used these discs for the last few years and found to be much better than what I’ve used before.

I picked this blade to destroy some old furniture for a burn pile. The year had not been kind to a soft, loveseat and china cabinet that we just wanted gone. I didn’t want to drag them outside and just light them up so I thought I’d break them down.

Well that’s easier said than done so cutting them up into manageable pieces was the only solution. This blade ripped through nails, screw and even some steel springs I forgot to remove. It’s still sharp and cuts fine after dismantling all of those items.

I think I’ll tackle some stumps and large limbs next but for it to maintain a sharpness after all it’s already done is amazing itself. I’m truly shocked and glad I chose the right blade. The price is extremely reasonable as I was expecting to pay double for a blade that could do it all.

I am so pleased that it was just what I needed at a price less than I imagined.

Ok, so this carbide tipped blade replaced some cheap blades I had on my Sawzall. I was going through demo of old 1940s construction with lots of nails and assorted junk in the wood. My old blades were smoking, wearing to nubs, and chugging through batteries.

Swapping to this blade made a huge difference in the project. Just given the time and effort savings I think I am sold on these for future work. Time to rotate the blades in my packout.

We work on old houses and install pre-hung doors, it’s a lot easier to cut out the jambs and remove everything. We used the AX on the last job, even using our small cordless sawzall it cut threw everything with no problems.

Not sure if we would kill the blade I just cut threw the nails with no problem and back into wood like nothing changed. Great blade worked like a champ. Again the size was great, longer blades have a way of getting caught up and bending.

For whatever reason, the above-named stranger felt compelled to hack into my Chewy account and purchase this item. I was unable to cancel the order with Chewy even though I received notification within hours of the purchase which I did not make.

Because I had a saved payment method on file for subscription items, this hacker helped himself to this blade and there was nothing I could do about it. I’ve closed down my chewy account as a result and alerted Paypal and changed ALL of my passwords on other frequented sites.

That Chewy could not cancel this unauthorized purchase just rewarded the thief. If you’re reading this review, start changing your passwords and know that anyone can shop with impunity on Chewy ON YOUR DIME.

I have been grooming my bichpoo for 4 years using my Andis clippers with the ultra edge blade. Two of the teeth were broken off over time so I decided it was time to replace the blade as I wasn’t getting a perfectly smooth cut like I had previously.

I ordered the ceramic blad based on a personal recommendation and boy were they wrong! This is a horrendous blade. He looks like he was cut by a first timer with scissors. He looks ridiculous! Chewy as always refunded my money, no questions asked! I will always recommend Chewy, but this product is garbage!.

I’ve bought 10 or so andis blades over the past few years and LOVED them. They’ve always been durable, easy to clean / use, sharp, and leave clean lines. Not this time. I bought a 7FC ultra edge and I opened the package to use and it wouldn’t cut the hair at all.

All it does is pull the hair. I guess I just got a dud. I will still be ordering andis blades but will either have to return this one or have it sharpened… which is highly irritating spending $30 on a blade only to have to pay to have my brand new blade sharpened.

Perfect fit for my lawnmower. I was concerned since my mower is over 5 years old and was not sure if I could get a blade. Not available in store, but it was available online. Perfect!

Exactly as ordered. Gives me a spare blade so I can get one sharpened while still working with the other one. Easy install.

It’s a lawn mower blade that fits a 16″ mower. It works, it’s cheap China made steal that will not last. You will get to cut the grass 3 or 4 times before sharpening and get 2 sharpening out it before replacement.

If it was D2 steel it would last all season or longer. Since they make them so cheap, you have to buy more. You need it for your lawn mower and it works, that’s all.

This blade is the real deal. I eventually purchased this for cutting ribbed steel panels for the inside walls of a workshop after trying several other lower cost alternatives. I started out using snips and then the abrasive type wheels on a grinder and circular saw.

The abrasive wheels worked, but they threw sparks everywhere, were hard to make a straight cut with, and burned the paint on the metal. I decided to give this blade a try after reading many positive reviews from others using it for the same application and all I can say is I should have just bought this in the beginning and saved myself a lot of hassle.

It cut the panels incredibly easily and smoothly with surprisingly few sparks. It cuts very quickly and it’s easy to make straight cuts. The only time I had any issues was if the cut was right near the end of the panel, the blade would rip up the thin strip at the end when I started to cut and then it would get stuck on the guard of the circular saw.

I only had this issue a couple times though and it was only when there was a very thin piece being cut off. As long as I cut off around an inch or more it was fine. I made 32 cuts on 42” wide panels across the ribs and a couple lengthwise cuts totaling about 30 feet and the blade cut as well on the last cut as it did the first.

I did notice a few teeth are chipped, but it still cuts fine. I am really glad I purchased this and I highly recommend it to anyone who’s planning to install metal roofing or siding.

This saw blade is the best solution for cutting metal roofing sheets. It does not burn through the metal and damage the paint like other “metal” cutting blades do. This blade literally slowly shreds off the metal creating almost zero heat.

I used it to cut the valley roof metal and had absolutely no issues what so ever. After cutting more than 20 pieces of metal and 10 pieces of trim the blade still cut as if it were brand new. It was worth its weight in gold compared to using metal sheers.

The only warning i would give is to use long sleeve shirts and dont skip the eye protection with this saw. The metal slivers the saw spits out will get stuck in your skin and bleed. Also, if anyone is helping hold the metal, have them use protective equipment also.

I was building an outdoor kitchen and I needed lots of concrete board but the reviews on most of these blades where not great. Either very expensive or short life. I was skeptical but I went with this blade and was impressed I needed to cut.

8x – 4×8 1/4 inch sheets of hardibacker 10x – 3×5 1/4 inch sheets of hardibacker 5x – 3×5 1/2 inch sheets of hardibacker. All boards required cutting and this one blade cut them all with ease. Even after all that cutting it cut just as smooth and clean as the first cut.

Been using Dewalt corded but now that I purchased my milwaukee m18 2732-20 and this blade came with it. This blade is a thin kerf and super sharp. Cuts through the wood like it’s melted butter. Should have made this switch a long time ago.

I would rate this blade better than the diablo I used in my Dewalt. Perfect combination, cordless, cuts true, ultra portable. Win win win.

I have been framing for a solid two years and the Milwaukee blades hold up as the best blade because of its durability! Much better than Dewalt and the diablo blades and it’s worth the money because it’s able to withstand a lot more abuse from cutting metal as well! Never will I switch to another blade other than this one.

Their Reciprocating saws are also the best demo blades too and I recommend anyone trying them as someone who has used diablo and Dewalt blades for renovating jobs and demo!.

This blade came with my rear handled circular saw. I have been using it to cut 2x10s and pressure treated 4x4s for a deck. I don’t even know how many cross cuts I’ve made with it so far and it’s still cutting like it’s brand new.

The saw itself is really powerful but no matter what kind of saw you have, a dull blade won’t cut. At roughly $10 a blade, you’ve got a great price for what seems like a quality blade. I will continue to buy this product.

Whatever would we do without utility knives? I have several of the classic Stanley 99 knives – in the back entry closet, from which I pull it for opening packages and any number of other household chores; in my tool belt, where I’ve long since lost track of its uses; two of them hanging from nails by the workbench (when I had just one there, I could never find it; now that I have two, I can never find one, but the other one’s reliably there).

The knife blades themselves come razor sharp, and last a long time; and are inexpensive enough that I recycle them when dull, rather than trying to sharpen them.

I have so many blades right now. I always seem to pass by the 100 pack heavy duty blades and snag them up. I have a bunch or bags for tools and in each one I have a pack, a pack in the truck, work truck, a few hanging in the shop, drawers and so on.

These blades you can’t go wrong with. The last longer then anything else out there, they dont break or at least I haven’t had one break on me yet. You can seriously tell the difference while cutting paper, carpet, trim, whatever you need it for it’s always nice having a blade you can trust and a knife to cut with.

These blades are fantastic. I purchased these about 3 months ago. They are very sharp and long lasting. The dispenser is decent, though you have to be careful when extracting blades from it. The blades themselves have a liberal amount of oil on them to prevent corrosion, which can get a little messy.

I wiped off the excess before putting them in my two knives. I doubt I’ll need to buy any more in my lifetime. I’m very happy with these.

I am EXTREMLY pleased with my purchase of the two units I bought. I LOVE that I do not need to ‘find’ an un-used electrical socket to plug into. I have USB sockets almost everywhere throughout the home, so that is a HUGE plus for these two bettery chargers.

The best thing, regarding the device, is how EASY it now is for me to see batteries needing to be replaced. I have other ‘chargers’ that will allow this, but only by knowing how to GET to the resistance feature.

The “NITECORE” device AUTOMATICALLY SHOWS YOU THE VALUES!!! I don’t have to remember special key presses and such. YAY!!! I bought TWO of the devices, but if this-here “Old-fart”, what’s in his 70s, starts getting geared back up again towards needing to have heaps of charged batteries ‘at the ready’, so-to-speak, I just may end-up getting a few more!!! I really like this charger as it can charge different sizes of battery at the same time. I use mine mainly for 4 x Li-ion batteries. The charger according to Nitecore is built of fireproof material so a good option for use with Li-ions although I hope its never put to the test.

Once plugged in via the micro USB port the charger needs no setting up, it just does its own thing which is good. The 18W limitation assists in maintaining charge current which in turn reduces the risk of over heating as Li-ions can get hot if charged at high current, I have no problem erring on the side of caution.

There is a clear display which shows each slot in turn and can be selected with the left hand button – so for each slot you can see battery charge current, voltage and mA/hr charged. Theres also a Good / Poor / Bad based on internal cell resistance and this has shown up a few elederly Ni-MH batteries.

Its worth a mention the Nitecore UMS4 will also charge the larger C & D type 1. 5v rechargeables, but you can only fit two at a time due to size. Overall an excellent charger from Nitecore and I’d buy it again for sure.

I’m 73, been a woodworker for 25+ years, planed, ripped, edged, joined, sanded, hand-finished over 25 large pieces of walnut/mesquite/hickory furniture. Used Systematic, Freud, and several other brands of rip blades on over 10,000 bd ft; never have I had a rip blade as sharp, as true, as long lasting as the RF101.

I ordered a second to use while the other is being sharpened. Here is the topper; I have not changed this rip blade for cross-cuts-I leave the RF101 on. That has never happened. This blade has been going non-stop for over 6 months nearly every day.

This Popular Tools saw blade has been an amazing addition to my track saw. It is mounted on a Hilti 267-e and the cuts I have been getting from it have been amazing. I like that the blade has a larger kerf, it will have little blade deflection and should last many sharpenings without issue.

The cut is superb having now made cuts in baltic birch plywood, walnut, and pine. This blade comes highly recommended.

We love these blades. They are very smooth cutting blades, but they are also fairly aggressive. We are very happy with this purchase.

Replaced my old blades with these, and now it cuts the ice like a hot knife through butter. Takes all of 5 minutes to swap out.

Bought this for my last trip and the blade broke in half, lost one half down the hole and the other part stayed bolted on. But to be fair they were super sharp before they broke

So I haven’t had to replace my blades yet, but these are the same blades that are on the auger to begin with. To that effect, I have absolutely no complaints about the blades I have on the auger now.

This charge adapter is so much better as it allows me to plug it into a more sophisticated charger. One of my batteries refused to charge with the Blade Chroma charger and this got it to balance charge.

I also was able to use my ‘better’ charger to see what the state of each battery is. 🙂 Good purchase all around.

If you need any new accessory for you blade Chroma and you haven’t purchased one of these,then get one the supplied charger that comes with the chroma is a waste of time and takes two hours to charge the flight pack.

This adapter will charge a flight pack in half an hour when used with an hobby grade charger,which means less waiting around and more flying and that’s gotta be good!.

I brought this so I could use my balance charger. I had to get extension cables for the connections so it would go in my battery bag but works the way it should. Would definitely buy another. Thanks

I needed a metal cutting blade that I could attach to my circular saw so that I would not have to lug around my heavy cutoff saw when I just needed to cut metal objects on the go. When I saw this Milwaukee 7 1/4” circular saw blade that is rated to cut steel, aluminum, struts and angle iron I knew this was the one! The cobalt infused tungst carbide blades effortlessly cut through the steel angle iron I was cutting.

The blades remained sharp even after 20 cuts. The cuts were also pretty much free of burring. The blade was relatively vibration free and did not overly get hot. The 48 tooth blade is kind of best of all worlds as it is good for heavier stock metal but can cut lighter metals, plastics, and copper.

There are also 56T and 70T blades available that are more geared for lighter metals and plastics if those are the main materials being cut. This is another stellar professional product by Milwaukee tools that I highly recommend whole heartedly!.

I have been using this blade for a lot of projects since I got it. It makes getting the job done a breeze. I used it to cut through sheet metal on a project and the blade cut through with no hesitation.

I also used it on another project to cut through real aluminum siding and it cut as if I was cutting through butter. That was after I had already used it on a couple of previous projects. The blade didn’t get dull or lose its sharpness at all.

Very happy with this blade. Made everything a lot easier and cut my work time in half. Another good tool to add to my collection, would definitely purchase in the future.

Should have replaced my original blade years ago on my Craftsman 19. 2v circ saw. I thought the batteries were dying. Nope, it was a dull blade. This new Irwin is thinner and the saw rips thru pine quickly, and doesn’t overwork the batteries.

it’s a bit of a rough cut, but i have plenty of files and sandpaper.

This is my first Irwin bade and I am pleasantly surprised. I was using a 20T Craftsman combination blade that was still very sharp but the feed felt slower than I wanted. I got this Marathon blade on a whim and it zips through pine and plywood with virtually no resistance.

It is very thin, I couldn’t even tighten the nut far enough as the threads stopped the nut on the shaft. Had to make a washer fit just to tighten it up. Not a big deal. Inexpensive blade that does a great job.

It can wander a bit as it is so thin, but it makes your table saw act like it has twice the horse power.

I was about to undertake building a desk out of ash and figured it was time to replace my table saw blade. What a difference. I was able to rip boards and then glue them up straight off the table saw without using a jointer.

Great blade for the money wouldn’t hesitate to get another one when it is time.

Genuine Milwaukee blades designed for cutting PVC. Worked great. I looked for this item in stores and could not find anywhere. Perfect tooth-count for PVC in my humble opinion

I bought a pack of these a few years ago and was down to my last blade. I couldn’t find these anywhere. I use these to cut the side of the island cabinet to install an outlet. You do not want to mess up the side of a island cabinet!!.

I use these in my cordless Milwaukee sawzall which gives perfect control when cutting. Thanks for stocking these.

This is a good blade to have If you like to do DIY or if your a professional wood worker. This blade by Milwaukee is a wood framing blade that is 7-1/4 inch and has 24 cutting teeth. This is cobalt infused tungsten carbide blade that extends cutting life and maintains tip sharpness.

This has increased accuracy and laser cut vibration slots to help reduces wobble and warping. I have used this blade several time for different projects and it has been very accurate. It’s a high quality blade.

This also has a anti-Friction coating so it cuts cooler and resists corrosion and gumming. This blade will last along time and give you many great cuts in the future. This can be used on a hand saw or a meter saw.

It’s recommended for soft wood, hard wood, plywood, wet lumber and treated lumber. Milwaukee has always had quality tool and accessories. I have never had any issues with this blade. It works great. I have finished several of my wood projects with this blade.

And will definitely be using it in the future.
