20 Best Charger For S21 (2022 Updated)

I bought this so that I would not have to carry two chargers; one for my iPhone, and another for my MacBook Air. All I need to do is carry two charging cords, and this charger, which is smaller than the charger for my MacBook Air, and I can also plug in a third device if needed.

I am often in places when I travel where I may have access to only one outlet, and plugging in two Apple chargers to one outlet can be difficult if not impossible. This solves that problem for me. I especially like the small rubber base that comes with the charger to use on wall outlets, very clever, and it’s really very convenient.

One more thing, it’s made by Anker, and I have always had good luck with Anker charging cords. I use an Anker charging cord for my iPhone that I keep mounted on the handlebars of my motorcycle which I have ridden from Prudhoe Bay, Alaska on the Arctic Ocean to the tip of the Baja peninsula in Mexico.

I use my iPhone for GPS on my motorcycle, and my Anker cord has not broken despite all the abuse it has received on my motorcycle travels after these many years.

I’ll start by saying this charger runs just as hot if not hotter than my other 120W charger, but if Anker can honor their temperature reliability claims then I’ll only worry if it ends up failing. Overall a very functional solution for those needing 3 USB-C ports, but the execution on redistributing the 150W power is annoyingly confusing.

• Middle USB-C port w/ MacBook Pro = 100W • Top USB-C w/ iPhone + Middle USB-C w/ MacBook Pro = ≈27W + 90W (Why?? When iPhone unplugged from Apple cable, the MacBook stays at 90W, but if I fully unplug the Apple cable from charger then MacBook will start receiving 100W.

) • Top USB-C w/ iPhone + Bottom USB-C w/ MacBook Pro = ≈27W + 90W (But whether I unplug iPhone or the Apple cable entirely, the MacBook stays at 90W and does NOT correct to 100W) The laptop symbol on the middle USB-C is right to suggest using this port when charging alongside other devices, but I wish the power redistribution was equally intelligent across all ports.

Or at least the bottom 2 ports.

The charger seems to be working well. Very robust design. I have not had the opportunity to connect more than one device so far. However, I have been an Anker fan for a number of years and I have no doubt it will perform flawlessly as do my other chargers and devices from the company.

I firmly believe that all of these wall devices should have power indicator lights on them. I find it frustrating when I am trying to troubleshoot a wall adapter but I’m unable to tell if it is even generating power.

Anker seems to vacillate quite a bit in this area. If this works with multiple devices as I expect it will, it will earn my five-star review.

I love the Anker 711 Nano II 30 W charger! It is so small it doesn’t interfere with outlet plugs, plus the compact size makes it super portable. I chose the white color and paired it with a silver 10 ft USB-C Anker cable to charge my iPAD Pro.

Works great!.

You get 30w charger that’s only slightly bigger than the Apple 5w charger. Takes up less space than the 18w or 20w chargers I was using for iPhone and iPad while also using energy more efficiently. My daughter uses it to charge her MacBook Air as well.

I love my new 711 charger. It’s great that it’s basically the same size as an iPhone charger. It also works perfectly charging my MacBook Pro. Overall it’s a great product that I’d recommend.

Like most Anker chargers, this offers an exceptionally high max power that can be distributed efficiently between 3 ports. It’s a little disappointing there’s not a version that is all three USB-C ports, since that seems to be trending toward the standard, but having at least two USB-C ports is still awesome, especially if you’re on-the-go.

The only real negative is that it comes with this suction-cup-skirt thing that helps stabilize it when it’s the only thing plugged into the outlet. Basically, it’s long enough that it would start to sag at the far end, especially as you use more of the ports available, and it wouldn’t be safe if the prongs eventually became exposed.

And so this weird skirt thing is to help prevent that from happening. But although it’s short enough to allow a second outlet to be used simultaneously, this is *not* true when the skirt is in use. So either you must use this by itself, with the skirt, or you need to remove the skirt and have this occupy the top outlet so it can effectively rest on the bottom plug.

After so many reported issues with cellphone batteries overheating and sometimes even starting fires, I opted to buy the correct charging block for my Samsung Galaxy A13 5G. And glad I did, my old phone started overheating when I was using a generic charging block, even the block was getting hot so when I sprung for a new phone I wanted to be sure I wasn’t going to burn the house down.

Although I still say at least a few Hail Mary’s whenever I plug this in to charge my new phone, so far no issues. Plus, with it being a new phone, if anything happens to it due to battery issues within the first year it won’t be void of warranty by Samsung.

yes, it does charge very fast, as well as burn up as fast. i have gone thru (2) super fast charging blocks since 2/24/2021. they were plugged in at 2 different locations. i really like the charging speed, although, i would much rather have one that works.

i have been a samsung customer for many years and have never had a charging block fail until the “super fast charger. ” all i can say, is take it for what it’s worth. oh, by the way they are not providing with the s21 line, need to purchase separately.

when you do, terrible packaging, a large box 8 times size of product, and product is just lose in box. really not sure how samsung is saving in shipping or packaging. good luck.

Overheats considerably. So much so that charging itself becomes intermittent. These are cheap so high quality should not be expected but be warned you are relying on failsafe designs in your own device preventing these chargers from doing serious damage to your phone.

As the pic shows,, internal hardware tells the tale, this could have been (indeed may have been) put together by a high school student taking an introductory course in Electronics.

So far very compact wall charger (A LOT smaller than other store bought options) and I use the matching 6ft cord. Debating on buying more for car & work. Have yet to travel with it. Hope cord lasts 6-12 months or longer.

Charging cords of high quality are harder to come by versus charging wall outlet. Phone charges fast but doesn’t keep charge. The phone is still fairly new. New to me being almost a year new but not quite there yet.

5-6 months away from a year. (iPhone SE) Charge has been slowly going down in terms of battery life longevity. I’m on my phone quite a bit overall. Charger is effective at getting battery to 100% charge within 30-60 minutes depending on whether phone is still being used within duration of charge.

Phone has died completely. Stuck this on charger for only second if not a minute at most and the phone is back on & operational. Love the color options and feel of the materials used to make product.

Feels durable. Bought black / chrome color. Would like purple and blue.

USB-C 20 watt charger Nano I got an iPhone 13 and wanted to start fresh with a new charger and cable, (Anker 6 ft. USB-C) to get the fastest charge possible. I was not disappointed! I never realized the charger (and cable) used makes such a difference.

I am very impressed how quickly my phone charges now. This charger may be a little more expensive, but it is totally worth it. You get what you pay for! Even though it doesn’t fold it is very small if you need to pack in a purse or bag.

The charger looks very sleek with the white iPhone and clear case. I like that the white has a silver end so that I can quickly distinguish it from my other chargers that I keep for an old iPhone and iPad.

I recommend this charger. I read a lot of reviews about many different chargers. I purchased 2 of these chargers and 2 ( Anker 6 ft. USB-C cables) and I’m glad I did.

The power brick comes inside of a latex bag, slotted into a plastic mold, all inside of the standard Anker white and blue boxed packaging. The power brick has a sleek, shiny, metallic finish on the front, which I personally find to be appealing.

I have personally paired this with the Anker Powerline+ III USB-C to Lightning nylon cable. In my experience with using this power brick, I can confirm that it does charge very fast, far more than wireless chargers or the stock Apple power bricks.

I wouldn’t say that this product is absolutely necessary if you already have a functional means of charging, but it does add speed to the charging duration and has aesthetically pleasing qualities. I personally stand by Anker products, as I personally find them to be quality in functionality and design, and I recommend this product.

purchased for a new s-22+. arrived today, is barely an improvement over the adaptive fast charger that came standard with my s10+. it is only marginally faster when plugged directly into the device, and will not wireless fast charge the device through a third party 30w wireless fast charger.

the s-10+ adaptive fast charger will wirelessly fast charge the s-22+ through the sane third party wireless charging device, so despite all the bells and whistles, the 45w charger is substantially slower when connected through a third party wireless charger.

i got this through a discount coupon for much less than the $50 usd retail price. nonetheless, it is still probably going to be returned, because it is simply not worth the money.

alright. this charging block is great at doing its job. it charges fast. but it doesn’t charge without a usb-c cord. so why sell a product that cannot operate on its own and requires the second half (the cord) in order to perform its primary purpose? to charge! is it really not affordable for a company like samsung to include a cable with the charging adapter that alreasy costs 20 dollars? i give this product 2.

5 stars for the half of the complete product that it should be. don’t want to be petty like that but it just defeats the purpose to have an adapter with no cord.

This is a cell phone charger. Big deal, right? Well, sort of. It’s different from the 5000 other cell phone chargers that I’ve accumulated over the last two decades and that are sitting in my junk drawer in that it is all-USB-C.

I’ve not seen this before. I do have and have had devices (phones, bluetooth speakers) that charge through a USB-C port on them. But the other end of the cable has always had a traditional USB-2 plug to be plugged into a charger or computer with a USB-2 port.

But not now. Using this charger requires a USB-C plug on both ends. A cable like this is something I did not have, and no cables are included in the box. All that is in the box is the charger brick itself.

If you don’t have a USB-C to USB-C cable, you’ll need to get one, as I did, before you can use this charger. This charger’s two claims-to-fame are that it is fast-charging and that it is “foldable,” meaning that the two prongs for plugging into a wall socket can be folded down to make the device compact for easier storage or carrying around.

We can dispense with the foldable prongs first. They work fine and fold nicely out of the way. This is hardly earth-shattering as I have encountered foldable prongs on all sorts of A/C adapters and chargers over the years, so this is nothing new.

The real interest is in the fast-charging. It says on the box that this charger is “for Samsung. ” I have a Samsung Galaxy A42 5G phone that I’ve owned for only about a month now, and it charges pretty fast using the charger that came in the box, which is a more standard USB-2 (charger) to USB-C (phone) device, and the included cable has the appropriate plugs on each end.

Also, the included charger, while it doesn’t have foldable prongs, is still small and quite unobtrusively portable. The question was, does this Anker charger provide a meaningfully-shorter charge time? If so, that’s something.

If not, it’s just another charger, and, like I said, I’ve got several thousand of those already. One of USB-C’s claims-to-fame is faster data throughput than previous incarnations of USB ports. Another is what’s claimed here.

that all-USB-C charging is faster than anything that involves USB-2. So I put the charger to the test. I let my phone run down to 70% charge twice, and then I charged it back to 100% each time with either the charger that came in the box with the phone or this Anker charger.

The verdict? Both charged the phone in pretty much the exact same time. In fact, when I first plug a charger into the phone, it says right on the screen how long to a full charge, and, in both cases, it said 43 minutes.

this is a single port output charger, it is well built with foldable AC prongs. It feels substantial and feels like it weighs slightly more than other chargers but still fairly compact. It charged by Galaxy S21 from about 20% to full charge in less than an hour and is rated to be able to fully charge that phone from near zero in a little over an hour.

The phone got moderately warm during the quick charging process as well as the charger. I also fully charged my Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 in just under two hours, with it going from a 2% charge to 25% within 15 minutes.

I used my previous phone Samsung Galaxy S8 for more than 5 years and it’s been the best phone I have ever used. I was looking for something as reliable and amazing as Samsung S8. After a lot of search I thought nothing else but Samsung Galaxy note 8 would be the right choice for my requirements.

I am an extensive reader and I love making notes on documents I read. The S pen is a great addition and I love how handy it is. The photo and the video quality is exactly like my samsung s8 and I am very satisfied with that.

Pretty fast, big storage availability and of course not to forget the beautiful sleek design, massive screen and the quick response makes it the best phone you could buy for the money. Great buy.

I’ve had my phone for over a year now and I love almost everything about it! The stylus is my favorite! I recently discovered Smart Select which allows me to copy a string of text/number from an image.

It has save me so much time!! Another stylus feature I love is being able to use it to take pictures from afar. Just set up the phone on a stand at a distance and press a button on the stylus to snap a photo! Another feature I love about the phone is being able to zoom out on the camera so capture more in the photo.

The one thing I hope to see in the future is longer battery life.

Travel adapter is excellent but 3 stars because it should have come free with a phone your spending over £1,150. This environment friendly idea is nonsense end of the day your buying the adapter separately means more packaging and more waste! The people who are complaining about their Galaxy S21 Ultra not charging faster with this 45w adapter it’s because your phone doesn’t support 45w charging.

Galaxy S21 Ultra only support 25w charging so it won’t make a difference with this travel adapter.

The charger is very fast. Did about 70% in an hour. Little bit bigger than standard charger but that would be expected with bigger components. Only down side is it isn’t a standard usb socket.

I’ve had other brands and this one is the best I’ve used. Works fast with my phone charging needs plus I did purchase the 3ft and 10ft cable wires from Ghostek to use with it. Definitely would purchase again.

Works way faster than my wireless charging station. This is my go to every time my phone needs charging.

Not much else to say. It charges my phone (Pixel 5a 5G) much faster than the manufacturer-provided charging unit. I recommend it.

Every reviewer is just whining that this charger didn’t come with their $1500 phone, nobody is actually reviewing the charger itself. This is not helpful. If youre complaining that you had to buy a $25 charger, then you can’t afford a $1500 phone and you shouldn’t have bought one in the first place.

Here’s an actual review of the product. Been using it for a year now and no issues. It communicates very well with the phone and makes voltage and current adjustments instantly based on the phones SOC, parasitic drain, and temperature, with charge speed almost the highest priority.

Often to a fault. Sometimes you need to tell it to chill. If the phone is very low battery, the core temp is below 35C, and there’s little parasitic drain the phone will deliver more than 1C, I’ve seen over 5 amps delivered to the battery at 5v, obviously pushing above the 25w rating, not ideal for battery life.

It’s also not backwards compatible with older Samsung phones, if you have a phone from before C to C was a thing it will still try using PD to charge it and it will destroy the battery very quickly, doing huge damage to it instantly.

It seems to work ok though not great with other c to c devices, but really its best to stick to Samsung phones since that’s what it knows. It doesn’t stick to 5V, 5amp charging for very long, by 60% it’s switched over to 9V 3amp, and after 80 9v 1amp.

If temperature ever goes above 35C it immediately switches to 1amp charging regardless, and it will go over 35c if you use the phone while charging for even a minute or two. Having the 5v 5amp charging when the battery is low is a great feature, but once 9V kicks in there’s not much difference between this and the old charger.

Charging times from 65%-100 are virtually identical between this and the old one. The old one sometimes even being faster. Good to have around for that 10-60% zone but it’s maybe too strong for its own good, and it doesn’t play well with others.

But it works.

I’ve been a long time Samsung Galaxy user and my trusted old Galaxy S7 Edge recently died a sudden death. I had already been considering purchasing an S21 and so I went ahead, knowing that Samsung had made the marketing decision not to include a charging plug.

Never mind, I though, I already have a couple of plugs for previous Galaxy mobiles and they will supply the new C Type cable with the phone. How wrong I was! The phone comes with a C type to C type cable.

What use is that to me, when all my existing plugs require a USB cable? So I now have a brand new S21, but can’t use it as the battery is dead and I have no way of charging it without first purchasing a new plug.

What an absolute con! Samsung, you should be ashamed of yourselves and don’t give us that crap about saving the Earth. The ONLY reason you don’t include plugs with a £800+ mobile is to make more profit.

Some useful feedback from a user since 2011: I just upgraded from my Galaxy S8 to the S21. Before the S8, I used the S7 Edge, S4 and the Ace II over the years. Why no charger? Every phone before my S21 came with a charger and I never spent more than $750 CDN on any of your devices.

Here I am, $1400 of my hard earned money invested into a phone and no charger? The no charger actually dropped my rating of the phone 2 and a half stars! Device performance is pristine as always and I’m glad that unlike LG, you didn’t fall off after your peak with the S5 like LG did after peaking with the G3.

Device satisfaction: 9. 5/10 One UI 4. 0 needs improvement on the battery life. Bought my phone brand new in Dec 2021. Went from 11hrs 25 minutes SoT (Screen On Time) on One UI 3. X to 8 hours 30 minutes SoT on UI 4 Cameras always on point.

9. 5/10 just wish the top camera was the main one but I’m sure that will change over time.

First analysis of this product. I have an anker 15W and it feels better than this products. The second analysis refers to the fact that it does not have an anti-slide and your phone can fall if you do not hold it well.

Third comment. This product, having a fan, continues to heat up quite a bit, not so much on the surface because it is only plastic and has nothing anti-slip, so it is a useless fan. The box says super fast charge this last analysis is false this charger does not charge more than 10w I have a cable that detects the watts used by usc type c chargers.

I can tell you that it uses the fan with the charger almost 17 watts and not continuously. I do not recommend this product either because of the price value or because its materials are adequate to have a correct grip on the phone.

Don’t buy these expecting super fast charging. You are only going to get your phone to say fast charge, which is a maximum of 15 watts. I did these tests with the Samsung s22 ultra 265gb and it takes almost two hours to fully charge from 0%.

Another Samsung wireless charger that has issues charging my phone with it’s case on, despite the fact that my dirt cheap wish. com wireless charger doesn’t have this issue. I personally use the pad as a holder for the charging cable, to keep it on my desk and in place until I’m ready to unplug it and plug directly into my phone.

This part is great, as it charges the phone amazingly fast in, I believe, 25w mode. So to summarize, the actual usb charger is great, the wireless pad is just not very useful to me, as it takes way more time to take the case off and on than it takes to swap the plug over.

i received this as a gift with my purchase of my buds2 pro. nice packaging and i was excited that it had a fan on the bottom for heat. i charged my s22 ultra on it and removed when done charging. i checked my phone to see if it got hot while charging.

it reached 101° not super hot but hotter than when using a cable to charge. not sure if the fan worked or not while charging my phone. i charged my buds case and the fan was working. so i will have to give it another try.

Love the fast charging adapters. They have saved hours off my life being tied down to a wall. Its amazing. The price is great as well and so is the variety lengths of cords you can get. Growing up with flip phones in middle school and charges lasting days seems like a distant memory now but at least it doesn’t take a full day to charge anymore.

I love my Samsung charger it charges my phone really fast. This is a fast charger and it works really well with my phone. My kids often ask to use it because they always lose their chargers. I have had to order this charger again and it is always worth it.

This is a Samsung fast charge adapter. It works according to the name. I use this adapter whenever my battery is low and i want to make a run on the road. It last me a longtime, its good and reliable.

I would recommend this samsung fast charging adapter to anyone with a samsung phone and USB.

I give it 3. 5 stars. While it is MUCH quieter than the last wireless charger I had, it fails a bit too much. It will start charging, then randomly stop. I don’t mean when the phone is fully charge, I mean it stops within 10-15 SECONDS after starting to charge, then it flashes and won’t start a charge until I leave the phone off for more than 10 minutes before trying again.

Also for a “FAST” charge, it’s about 40% slower than just plugging the phone into a cord, and slower than the old one that makes a lot of fan noise (one of the reasons I replaced the old one was the noise, the other reason was it lit up the room like landing lights for a plane and that’s just not possible to sleep with that noise and light) This has a much nicer red light and green light than the old one which was a super bright blue.

After trying several other brands’ wireless “fast chargers” I figured Samsung would have to have gotten it right for thier own phones but NOPE. This thing is garbage, returned it the same day I got it.

I have tried nearly every advertised wireless fast charger out for my S21 and have found dissappointment after dissappointment. I finally found a very affordable 45w Anker wall charger and it is incredible, highly recommend.

very disappointed. i don’t know if i got a lemon, or my phone case is too heavy or what but it does not charge my phone at all. my plug in charging port on my galaxy s8 has gotten loose somehow and i thought this might solve my charging issues.
