I loved this book! It really resonated for me. I was first introduced to Steve Harvey’s literary talents in his book, “Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man” (a must read for all women – single or otherwise).

I was pleasantly surprised by the wit and at times humor that Steve expresses in his book on success. I won’t say that what he writes hasn’t been said before in other books and various media, but he breaks it down as it applied to his own life.

The two things that I mention to family and friends when referring to his book are the reference to “finding your gift” and “Change is inevitable. You can either react to it or participate in it. “.

I absolutely loved this book. Steve Harvey is such a funny person and he puts his humor into this book as well as being serious about being successful in life with everything. Its very motivating and inspiring.

It will get you to thinking about your own circumstances and wanting to change them. I highly recommend this book and I was very happy that I got to read it because it truly hit home for me!.

If you’re interested in learning the skills to become an entrepreneur, if you’re interested in growth mindset and development this book is hands down for you! Amazing and inspirational book about paving your way for success and he really talks about what it takes to stay on top of your game despite setbacks.

I came across Dr. Harvey’s products a few months after my almost 16 y. o. (lifelong fed raw food ) clumber spaniel, Tater was diagnosed with “kidney failure & anemia”. He was put on KD food, which while he did like, I’ve rarely fed any kibble.

I saw a few Dr. Harvey’s customers praise the food for their dogs with kidney issues and started off with a few small bags and I think samples of ALL products. All 3 of my clumbers, 16 y. o. , his 10 yo son and 18 mo gr’dau.

LOVE these products. After a short time weaning from KD to Dr. Harvey’s, Tater’s bloodwork showed improvement in kidney values AND the anemia. The staff is great answering questions & doing phone chats.

My vet even said this was good for kidney issues. All of the products contain herbs, etc I would normally supplement even in my raw feeding so in reality, the cost of Dr. Harvey’s is not really outrageous when you balance out the cost of all single herbs you would be paying for separately.

Tater is now 16 yr, 1 mo. and doing great. I even alternate Oracle with reg raw diet for my pup or she pouts not getting the “special food” grampa gets !.

Ive read this book twice, gifted it three or four times, and have recommend it countless times. Whatever your view is on the role of men and women in this world, we simply cannot escape the fact of innate HUMAN NATURE, which Harvey expertly and straightforwardly explains.

Best of all, he is hilarious. Ill probably read it again one day, simply as an entertaining reminder of reality.

I believe every young woman age 15 thru their 30th’s should read this book. It gives very valuable insight. Wish I had read it when I was young. Want to know why he ghosted you? This advice is geared mostly for young, single, divorced women with children. There should be a book for seniors and widowers. Some of his advice I didnt agree with I. e. if the female holds out sex longer than a month then the man has the right to cheat!!.

I believe that golf is as much about concept as is swinging a club to hit a ball. This is a great concept aid that can be taken to the course. I am not saying to do exactly what it says in the book and you will be a better golfer.

I found it useful in making small changes where I needed a little help as well as increasing my confidence in another part of my swing that I was thinking needed to be changed. It works differently for different players.

I have heard about the book for a long time and finally bought it. I am glad that I did. Larry.

Best little book on Golf. I bought another copy for my son who is a college golfer. I feel there are tips and golf knowledge in here that everyone can use. Even if you are an avid golfer I will bet you can find something in the first 5 or 10 pages that you can use to improve your game.

The book is small stories some only 1 or 2 paragraphs long that convey wisdom about the game, grip, clubs, strategy, and humor. Harvey was not only the golf pro for Austin Country Club for 40 or 50 years, but the Golf Coach for Univ.

of Texas for 30 or so years. He mentored PGA pros like Tom Kite and Ben Crenshaw. There are stories about them growing up. Easy to read, common sense golf knowledge that you can take to the course. If you don’t own it or haven’t read it you are missing out.

Still a couple months of winter, time to get it read it and take it to the course.

This book is a must have in your golf instruction collection. I have used It all my years playing golf and it continues to provide me much needed help when my mechanics are a bit off. I have given my other copies to others serious to play the game.

So I keep buying another for myself. Great book and the condition was awesome.

I have has many Guy Harvey shirts over the past several years. I usually buy them at Bealls. This one I ordered from the website Guy Harvey. There is a notable difference in the quality of this shirt.

The fabric weight is much thinner than older shirts and the neck already appears stretched and worn only after 4 times wearing. I love the artwork. But the quality of the fabric looks like I will only be wearing it one summer.

I would rather pay more for a shirt I could wear several summers. Guy Harvey is a classic. Please rethink using lower quality cloth to display his artwork on.

I have purchased Guy Harvey tees for my husband and sons for many, many years and never had an issue with their quality. I washed this shirt for the first time as the label directs, in cold water, and dried it on low.

I could tell when it came out of the dryer it has shrunk. The sleeves are now 1″ shorter in length and the length is 2-1/2″ shorter than the other tee in the same size I purchased from this collection.

My husband has Guy Harvey tees that are 5-plus years old and have never shrunk, one of the reasons we keep buying them. The shirt is still beautiful, just too short.

The last 3 shirts I purchased from Guy Harvey have been a very inferior product from the Guy Harvey of old. Lighter weight cotton and much tighter fit than before. I will not be buying more shirts from Guy Harvey.

I have found that Island Jay’s uses a heavier cloth and the shirts fit truer and are longer lasting. I will be ordering from them in the future. Shame on you for cutting corners all in the name of making a few cents more on each shirt.

Harvey Shine is in London for the weekend for his daughter’s wedding. His work in New York preoccupies him: he writes music for ads, and he knows his boss is pushing him aside for younger talent. Despite a stern warning from his boss (Richard Schiff) that his job is in jeopardy, he flies to London for the impending wedding of his estranged daughter, Susan (Liane Balaban), to a chap named Scott (Daniel Lapaine).

Harvey soon comes to regret his decision to attend when, shortly before the ceremony, she informs him that she’s already asked her step-dad (James Brolin) to walk her down the aisle. Devastated by the snub, he rushes back to Heathrow but arrives too late to catch a flight back in time to prevent his being fired.

Next, he dejectedly drags himself into a pub where, while crying in his beer, he becomes instantly smitten with Kate (Emma Thompson), a shy and retiring spinster. She’s also down-in-the-dumps. between blind dates from hell and the constant smothering from her hovering helicopter mom (Eileen Atkins).

It is therefore no surprise when sparks start to fly between these two sad sacks, and Kate grudgingly agrees to accompany Harvey to his daughter’s wedding. After the reception, Harvey puts his plans to return to the States on hold indefinitely to pursue the whirlwind romance which ensues.

This modest story has been told a million times – loveless singles who find each other. And yes, the story is way predictable, as American Dustin Hoffman ventures to London for his daughter’s wedding, cross-cutting with British Emma Thompson struggling with a possessive mother, a rote job and impinging loneliness.

You know what’s coming. And it does. But the finesse with which Dustin and Emma handle their acting chores, squeezing every ounce of humanity from the script, and adding a lifetime of acting skills to paint their characters, is a joy to experience.

The joy isn’t discovery of the predictable plot developments, but of two pros filling the screen with their brand of humanity. But the script, for the most part, is nuanced and natural, rather than sitcom-y or broad, and doesn’t go for the obvious line.

There are rough edges in Emma Thompson’s character delineation, as well as her mother’s sketchy storyline, but for the most part — when Dustin and Emma are on-screen – it’s movie magic. With a lower case M, since there are no fireworks or Rocky-line denouement.

But it’s a special movie in its own way.

Material feels ok, the cut seems to be a little smaller than normal. Not much stretch and give.

Ordered a large this medium at best. Not a true large. Sleeves are super small.

It is a story that many should read. We all go thru trials in life and I found the book enlightening. How we can find thru other peoples hardships and successes that we all have the ability to find courage and strength to continue and obtain our well being.

The book content is fine. I thought it was a hard cover. There was nothing to indicate otherwise. I was unable to negotiate a hard cover purchase.

This is such a cute bracelet and very well made. The fact it helps bring attention to the plight of sloths is even better! My one problem with it is that the sloth is attached in the middle of the bracelet and does not move, so when I lay my arm flat, it will sometimes pinch me.

It would be much more comfortable attached as a dangle and placed near the knot by the other tag. I bought this to go with a few other bracelets I wear in memory of my husband, so I never take it off which is why it pinches me a lot.

Otherwise, this is a great way to help support the sloths! Thanks to Vera Bradley and company for supporting these great charities!.

It’s SO GOOD. The powdered sugar and the good sour lemony flavor. I bought a tin of Cavendish & Harvey Sour Lemon Candy many years ago while visiting Mount Vernon in Washington, D. C. Years later, I bought another tin of it locally, but haven’t found it locally since.

I saved the tin, tho, and years later, when I realized one of my grandsons LOVED it so much, it occurred to me to look for it online. I started ordering it for him for Christmas. He’s 16 now, still loves the Sour Lemon, and now anticipates, and is thrilled when he sees that he is opening a new supply! I love my boy and he loves his C&H Sour Lemon.

The whole family loves these candies. This is the second time I’ve bought this flavor combo. They are covered in powered sugar so they don’t stick together. They are so delicious! Blackberry is my favorite maybe I should try the other berry flavors next time.

I suffer from dry mouth after Cancer. These drops are so delicious, plus they have just enough sourness to them to make my mouth water. They are coated with confectioner’s sugar to cut the sourness, if you’re not too fond of lemons.

The drops themselves are just a little sour. Serving size is 3 pieces at 60 calories per serving. Give them a try, you don’t need dry mouth to enjoy these.
