Manischewitz – Gefilte Fish in Jelled Broth, 24 oz
Quality since 1888. Kosher for passover and all year round. To life! All natural. 0 g trans fat per serving. No MSG. Healthy body, healthy spirit. No sugar added. This product is lactose free. Made from select fish that are caught in the Great Lakes of the USA, Manischewitz is proud to bring you our delicious gefilte fish – a traditional family favorite for over 60 years.
My husband and I have been eating gefilte fish our whole lives and we’ve never once tasted any as bad as this. So not like Manischevitz at all! The consistency was so mushy that it shocked us, and the taste was unlike any gefilte fish we’ve ever had before.
We had purchased 4 jars- threw out the one we opened and returned the unopened ones to the store. So very disappointed. Generally we only buy gefilte fish during Passover, but I need to start eating protein at breakfast and thought 2 pieces of gefilte fish would do the trick.
Guess I’ll have to find something else and stick to eating gefilte fish at Passover only.
This jarred fish is so delish! I ordered two jars of it, but one jar lost its vacuum and turned into moldy yuck. Please be careful before you consume anything. Make sure that vacuum button pops up when you open it! I am sure I can speak for JET on this.
We don’t want anyone to be sick! Please be careful and check your foods, all foods!.
The only downfall to this is the gel around the gefilte fish pieces—it doesn’t taste bad, just kind weird to look at and have to peel off the pieces. I love the sweet gefilte! It’s an acquired taste, but the sweet isn’t overwhelmingly sweet.
I still enjoy this with horseradish sauce. The consistency of Manischewitz is the same throughout the pieces.
Yehuda Matzo was the top brand amongst 8 brands of Matzo taste tested by the San Francisco Chronicle. “Crunchy, with a good snap,” said one of the Panelists in the above survey. Under the supervision of the chief Rabbinate of Jerusalem.
Hala selected according to Jewish law. All equipment is thoroughly cleaned during production.
I used Streits and Manischewitz my entire life, until I tried Yehuda Matzo a few years ago. Its a better tasting product, and even though its made in Israel and imported, sells for much less than those made in New York.
A unique, hand painted and glazed Seder plate with matching bowls that will make a striking impact on your Seder table and stay in your family for years. This beautiful ceramic design, brought to Israel by Armenian master craftsmen, has become one of the country’s most distinctive styles.
Each of the 6 sections of the plate and its associated bowl carries the word identifying the appropriate food in Hebrew and English. Zeroah (shank bone), Baytsah (roasted egg), Maror (bitter herb e. g.
horseradish), Charoset (a sweet salad of apples, nuts, wine and cinnamon), Karpas (a green vegetable) and Chazeret (a second bitter herb, often Romaine lettuce). This Armenian ceramic plate also carries the Hebrew word Pesach (Passover) in the centre, surrounded with a classic Armenian design.
Each individual item is hand made, fired, then hand painted using metallic and oxidised paint in order to keep its natural colour. It is then finished with a fine glaze that gives it its attractive appearance before being re-fired to harden the glaze.
Easy to clean. Suitable for dishwashers. Plate Diameter: 30cm Height: 2. 5cm Bowls Diameter: 9cm Height: 2cm.
Nice seder plate. It would be even nicer if pictures of the different articles on the plate were added. Include in your offfer also the import costs. These were now unexpected.
This was a gift for my niece who is celebrating her first Passover; she was very excited to receive this and thinks it’s is just beautiful! Thank you for giving me the opportunity to give my niece a meaningful gift!.
Beautiful set. I have wanted this for many years since I bought my Armenian pottery havdalah set in Jerusalem. I used it for a Zoom seder this year that I led. It is now a new piece of Armenian pottery Judaica for my family and friends.

And these are just a couple of ideas All our matzos and crackers are baked on a regular basis so you know they’re going to taste fresh no matter how you serve them or which variety you choose.
Passover isn’t the same without this product. Of course, you can make this to make Matzo Balls but I also use to to coat chicken to make pan fried thin chicken cutlets. I also use it to meatloaf. So use this like you would bread crumbs.
[brand:manischewitz] matzo meal is my go to matzo meal when it comes to making delicious homemade #matzoball soup! I often make chicken matzo ball soup for Shabbat and let my 3 year old daughter help making the matzo balls.

The last time I had this famous yehuda original delicious gefilte fish,I was just a child. I am now 74, years old. I took a chance and ordered your product as a part of my Walmart Home Delivery Order.
I refrigerated it for two hours, I then planned, due to the cost, to have 1. 5 servings per day for five days. I sat down, used a fork and placed 1. 5 pieces on my plate. Manischewitz matzohs were the perfect accompanying side kick.
Purple colored horseradish, in a small jar on the left fork, knife and spoon to my right. I take that “first bite” and faster than you can say “oh vey”, I find myself in Heaven! The Creator of All that is “good” sits in his throne, looking down upon me and speaks these words.
” Well now Shimon Ben Mendel, are you satisfied? I took you “HOME” (for the first time in 60 yearsplaced the ultimate”gefilte fish “ in front of you. in the mere blink of an eye, the entire five pieces (in the jar) has been consumed into your Yiddisha mouth! “.
Now you’ll have to wait throughout “Eternity” for the next bite of the closest thing to your 👵Moms ❤️ (RIP) Gefilte Fish ever to have crossed your “plate” and your “palate”. Oh wow. if only it didn’t cost so much🤑👀.
I grew up on Gefilte fish but now I am using it as part of my diet. I really was not that crazy about the taste but these are fantastic. No need for the horse radish. Very healthy and they make a great snack.
Worth buying. No added ingredients other than real food. This is a wonderful go to snack for any one, protein rich, not too on the sweet side. It would be great with the addition of horseradish or beet horseradish.
This gorgeous, personalized Seder plate is the perfect gift for any child for Passover. It measures a full 10 inches in diameter with vibrant, colorful images of the six items on the plate including the egg, shank bone, charoset, parsley, bitter herbs, and lettuce with names in both Hebrew and English.
The plate is made of sturdy melamine and is dishwasher (but NOT microwave) safe. Please note that the plates do not have little indentations for the foods. Your child’s name is featured in a bold font in white with a black shadow to make it stand out.
Background color choices are turquoise (good for all genders), pink, and blue. Be sure to include the child’s name in the Notes to Seller. Please allow one week for production and an additional one week for mailing.
The seller was extremely kind and helpful in customizing this item. She shipped quickly and the packaging was great! I love my plate! Definitely a great way to make this holiday special despite it being so different this year:).
This plate is great!! I have 4, one for each kid. It’s a great way to get them to sit at the table and want to learn more about Passover and the seder plate. BullCityStudio was so easy to work with. I ordered this for my oldest and needed it for my younger ones.
I didn’t see it on Etsy so I emailed BullCityStudio and within minutes, the item was on the website. I ordered them that day and got them in the mail soon after.
We love our custom Seder Plate!! Valerie was exceptionally easy to work with on creating a truly special plate that my daughter will cherish for years to come. The turnaround time for both design (we asked for something slightly different than the plate shown) and shipping were super fast.
I highly recommend Bull City Studio for all your design needs.

Reviews From Real Customers
My Peruvian husband LOVES Matzo ball soup! I had trouble finding matzo meal locally here in Clarksville TN. I was astounded to find this 3 package deal! It arrived in a timely manner and very well packed.
It’s great. The only Passover matzah that I use. It’s exactly what you want it to be. Last for a long time and it taste great. I highly recommend. It is a good price point and easy to find in lots of stores.
This is my go to brand for that clasic Matzah taste! Just the right amount of crunch and snap! As with any bread of affliction, it can be a bit hard to “let my people go” if you have too much, so I suggest pairing with lots of water and some fruit!.

Yahuda Gluten Free Matzo-Style Squares are perfect for those who desire gluten free products during Passover and all year round. All products bearing the Yehuda name are always made to perfection, and this item is no exception.
This is our favorite GF matzo. We all love the onion flavor – it’s mild but it’s not as plain as the unflavored version. No gluten, no wheat, no leavening. A fragile cracker, that will easily break if you attempt to press a spread onto it with any force, but if you know that you modify pressure and it works better.
Not low carb, so I cannot recommend for anyone needing to restrict carbs. But quite a good texture, and satisfying. We don’t eat these year-round, but when we do we will stock up. as we will go through a half dozen boxes in a couple days.
My sister had a special dinner for her youth group and ordered these one of the youth that has problems with gluten. She had a leftover box and gave them to me because I am gluten intolerant. I immediately fell in love! Since I have found out all my health issues were related to gluten I had been on a search for a cracker as close as possible to a saltine as I could find.
With all the crackers there wasn’t any that were just “plain”! Most were buttery, cheesy, flavored, coated, which was never my favorite even when I was eating wheat. Just a plain crispy cracker with the closet taste and texture to good ole Premium saltines I have found in the gluten free crackers.
I live in SE Texas, about 30 miles inland from the Gulf and it is humid. When I don’t get these crackers in a sealed container shortly after opening them they get that stale not crispy taste. I just put them in the oven on low temp for a few minutes, they get a little darker, a little crispier, and I usually add a bit more salt to them.
But watch closely they burn quick! My daughter used them at Christmas to make “Christmas Crack” for me. She makes it every year using saltines for the family and this year i thought to give her a box to make it for me.
It is crackers in a pan, a mix of cooked butter and brown sugar and melted chocolate chips on top. These crackers held up really well with this recipe, it was almost like a Heath bar with the addition of a crispy cookie.
Just sooo good. Well, she had leftovers at her house and her husband tried them. He is now obsessed with these crackers, just LOVES them, and he doesn’t have any gluten problems, just knows a great cracker when he finds one! I had a problem with my order but Vitacost customer service solved that lickety split.
Thanks Vitacost for standing behind your customers!!.
Finally a gluten free bread product that tastes pretty much like the regular version! Bought a 2nd package from store to ensure I could enjoy it longer. And a great crunch too. Only downside is it crumbles way too easily once biting into, or trying to break in half – the only reason I gave it 4-stars instead of 5.

Charoset is a sweet, thick paste made from fruits, nuts, and wine. It is one of the traditional foods eaten during Passover, and is used to represent the bricks and mortar used by the Israelites to build the pyramids.
The word “charoset” comes from the Hebrew word “cheres,” which means clay.
Charoset is usually made by grinding up apples, pears, figs, dates, and nuts, and then mixing them with sweet red wine. Sometimes honey, cinnamon, or other spices are added to the mixture. The resulting paste is thick and sweet, and has a slightly gritty texture.
Charoset is eaten as part of the Passover Seder, the traditional meal that is eaten on the first night of Passover. During the Seder, charoset is eaten along with matzo, a unleavened bread, and bitter herbs.
The combination of sweet and bitter tastes is meant to represent the bittersweetness of the Jewish people’s history.
Charoset is a reminder of the hard work and suffering of the Jewish people, but also of their eventual liberation from slavery. It is a symbol of hope and resilience, and is a reminder that even in the darkest of times, there is always light at the end of the tunnel.
