Smells of molasses and caramel with a hint of vanilla and, like their tequila, there is solidly something reminiscent of alcohol to that smell. Not exactly like that of rum, but the quality is there.

Like most Ritual alternatives the capsicum burn is definitely there as well and lends itself well by layering onto the smell, which is retained in the taste, along with a bit of acidity and sweetness.

I’m completely blown away by how GOOD these spirits are. I got the tequila, rum and whiskey, and as mixers, they all taste just like the real thing. Of course, since there’s no alcohol they’re missing that viscosity solo, so don’t expect a miracle– but the tequila mixed with lime and soda was a wonderful, calorie free summer treat, and the rum and whiskey with coke were seriously JUST like the real thing.

My personal favorite is the rum, which tastes like a really high end real life rum: it’s got this gorgeous aroma and rich vanilla. I absolutely love it with a coke zero for a treat that doesn’t mess up my macros.

The other plus is, while there are some other spirits out there that are pretty good, they’re much more expensive. Ritual is the best value matching its quality. A must buy for anyone looking to cut back, if you’re preggo, or dieting, or just don’t want alcohol but enjoy the flavors.

For years I’ve longed for an acceptable non-alcoholic alternative to our beloved spirits and for years I remained disappointed. Then Ritual showed up, knocked down the door, kicked me in the ****, and slapped me in the face and told me “Buckle up boy’o, you’re about to be blown away”.

Nevertheless, I was blown away. The smokey whiskey, the botanical gin, the peppery tequila, and, my personal favorite, the gingery spiced rum all bring a new level of complexity to drinks I’ve been making for years.

Though they lack the burn and side effects of traditional spirits, they more than make up for it with their theater of flavors. Best of all, I earned the freedom to go unchecked in making drinks any day of the week, without the peril of becoming a degenerate alcoholic.

I can have my cake, and eat it too. Although I will never seize to use traditional spirits, I now find myself craving a Ritual drink no matter if it’s Friday or Monday.

Overall I love these extracts. I have recently gotten into candy making and I am having a ball experimenting with all the different flavors. I have discovered however, that this rum flavor contains water which causes chocolate to seize unless mixed heavily with a fat like butter or oil.

If you want to flavor dark chocolate, use ACTUAL Rum rather than this “rum flavor. ” I have not yet tried it in any other capacity where it may or may not work fine.

This extract has zero rum flavor. It has a faint acetone (aka nail polish) odor, but even that is too pale to call it a “nail polish flavor”. This is very bizarre.

This product is a good alternate to flavor sodas for my husband with a rum flavor, without the alcohol. My husband loves the rum flavor but is having a hard time with his body processing any alcohol as he ages.

This product really helps him get the taste he likes w/o the alcohol.

I’ve been a fan of a certain Captain spiced rum for years. A friend of mine kept telling me to try Bacardi. I eventually did. Omg. It’s delicious! Has a nice sweetness to it that my previous rum doesn’t have.

This is now my favourite! You can use cheap Diet Coke with this and it still tastes amazing.

It’s a lovely smooth taste of Bacardi. But wow, the flavours coming through, I can definitely taste vanilla and cinnamon which are 2 of my favourite flavours. It’s so tasty, it’s a drink you don’t need a lot of to taste the flavours and hit the mark.

I had this with cola and it was a great choice. Will definitely be trying it with other drinks too. Just a really warning drink for a winters night. It’s absolutely perfect.

I drink plenty of expensive rums but this one will always have a place on my bar. It’s along the lines of Captain Morgan Private Stock but I would give it a higher rating. It has more character, a nice vanilla spiced taste that is hard to put down.

This is my personal favorite of all of the canned cocktail beverages that I have tried. It tastes like a Mai Tai, not some lab chemicals that got mixed together. It’s not overly sweet. For comparison, the Bacardi rum punch while flavor-wise tastes good, it’s a little too sweet.

Some of the other canned cocktails, it’s not clear that you’re having a cocktail…just some flavored beer drink (Zima). The first sip of the Cutwater, it is clear your drinking an alcoholic beverage. I wish they made a rum punch.

Worst thing I’ve ever paid for and then put in my mouth. My husband likes a drink he calls a “Guy Tai” made with good rum and real orgeat syrup served in a tiki glass featuring scantily clad maidens.

I bought this cold beverage on a hot day and it definitely replenished. The taste of the coconut reminded me of vacationing in the tropics. Overall a great product but could not drink more than 1 or 2 in one setting.

Very potent flavor and high alcohol content really wiped my spine. I would definitely try other cut water products soon.

This rum was OK until recently I had been buying it for over a year. However; the last bottle I purchased smells like rubbing alcohol it wasn’t good. I switched to different brand. Maybe I just got a bad batch?.

I bought this recently. I was unsure bc at first wasn’t sure what I’d mix it with. I have found I can mix it with banana to make an exciting strawberry banana smoothie, the drinks listed on website, pina colada etc.

It’s light but was very nice. Definitely took the edge off of stress but wasn’t over the top. I fine it equal to drinking a glass of wine but easier to change up to avoid boredom. I’m definitely planning to purchase this again!!!.

I must say, the reason I do not like this product is probably my fault. For some reason I thought “Malibu Watermelon” would be the typical coconut rum with a watermelon twist. Watermelon coconut sounded decent to me.

This is not the typical coconut flavored rum with a Watermelon flavor. It is just Watermelon rum. A very fake Watermelon flavor at that. I wanted to love this, but it’s a miss for me. Can’t even think about what I could mix it with.

First discovered Stroh rum when stationed in Germany in the 1980s. It has been my “go-to” rum ever since. Absolutely makes the best Rum and Coke (a “Stroke”). Because of its high proof, a little goes a long way, making it surprisingly economical over the long-term — use just a couple splashes and you’ll taste the unmistakable flavor of a Buttered-rum Lifesaver.

Its high-proof is great for cooking and baking applications. As I understand it, this is how the majority of Austrians use it. Makes an outstanding flambéed Bananas Foster, for use over ice cream or a decadent topping over cheesecake.

For adding depth of flavor, any cocktail recipe that calls for Baccardi 151 is greatly improved by replacing with Stroh’s rum. This rum is exceptionally versatile and flavorful; and is a must-have for your bar if you make cocktails/mixed-drinks.

An Austrian friend recommended I try Strohs 160 in a recipe he shared with me. I decided to try it before using and, oh my Goodness, what a wonderful surprise! It has aromas of caramel and vanilla while the rum is smooth and soft in the background.

Sipping the rum was like nothing I have had before. The texture is so ethereal (very delicate, very light), the flavors then emerge (caramel, vanilla, and spice). Swallowing then reveals the true nature of the rum and alcohol and has some bite to it.

It finishes with the caramel etc. I’m really looking forward to baking with it.

I finally decided to try Stroh 160. Wow, what an experience. The unique herbal taste is different from the typical Caribbean rum that we all know. The taste to me is reminiscent of the Lifesavers butter rum candies.

Bought a 50ml taster first and was totally impressed: very flavorful, great aroma, and smooth enough to drink neat – comparable with rums twice its price! Then bought a 750ml bottle – same great flavor and aroma! Then bought two more 750ml bottles – and what a disappointment! The latter taste just like vodka – no sugar cane, no molasses – totally tasteless.

The price recently went down from 7. 99 to 6. 49, so perhaps, the bottler found a cheaper source for this rum. But unfortunately, the new rum is so much worse that I won’t be buying it again. You may still get lucky and get the old batch with great flavor, but don’t count on it.

Unfortunately, the batch number on the label is totally fake: same number 34604 for the old bottles, the new bottles and for the pictures on this website, so it’s impossible to rely on it.

I like to try different rums. I tried this on a whim and found that I like it a lot. It works fine as a mixer with my Coke Zero. It’s a little rough on it’s own

If you like sour lime taste this might be for you. I personally do not like the taste of this specific Malibu. It’s quite sour and doesn’t have the best real like taste to it. It is tolerable but would not be my first choice.

I like this lime flavor. I used it recently to mix it for mojito. The recipe called for white rum and lime, so I figured to just buy a lime flavored rum to make it easier. It came out exactly what I was expecting! Finished the whole bottle in a party with my friends, they all loved it as well.

If you think you’re in for a sugary coconut bomb with just a hint of lime, think again. In fact, the coconut takes a back seat to the lime in this spirit. It’s citrusy, not quite like fresh lime, but like a good glass of limeade with a splash of coconut water.

Unlike a lot of flavored spirits, this one actually makes sense. Lime and coconut are two flavors that belong side by side, so it’s amazing it took this long to put them together in the same bottle.

I don’t know how I keep on in the products that nobody else has ever reviewed but somehow I keep doing that. This one is OK. I can’t say when it comes to these cheaper premixed alcohol drinks you do need to drink responsibly.

If you are looking for the sweet, semi thick, potent, flavorful taste of Angostura Rum Punch, DO NOT go for this Barcadi knock off. I deceptively bought two of these because I can’t get the Angustura version, and because the pic had a deceptively similar color and description I got duped.

I don’t know what the return policy is for the unopened one, but I dread having to drink it simply not to waste money. It is thin, not very strong, sour instead of sweet and flavorful and not worth the purchase.

I love Malibu Pineapple Rum! It’s a refreshing tasting rum, ideal for so many cocktails! Great with a mixer or on the rocks! We use it to make jello shooters as well! Malibu is a great brand, lots of flavors, fairly inexpensive, smooth taste, great to have on hand for parties or just partaking in a relaxing drink to wind down your day! For me Malibu is the world’s best-selling rum at all times with natural coconut flavor. i always mix it w pinnaple juice no matter whatIt its smooth, fresh coconut flavor with a sweet finish. Perfect for bringing the island to anytime or anywhere.

It smells of fresh coconut milk and whipped cream and the coconut flavor becomes more obvious but is not overwhelming. The sweetness is well-balanced and leads into a pleasant, soothing finish.

This review is for Malibu Watermelon Rum, not. At first I mixed the rum with Sprite and REALLY didn’t like it. I was afraid I’d have to just pitch the bottle. Then a friend suggested mixing with lemonade and club soda.

It was so good I ended up buying a 2nd bottle! So, try mixing with different things and you’re bound to find a mix you like! The lemonade mix was perfect for a hot summer day by the pool!.

To be honest I don’t think I’ve ever actually tried rum before (yes, really). It was strong yet not too overpowering when taken straight. But here comes the pineapple juice and when mixed it tastes fresher – with a different kind of sweetness lingering in mouth.

Mind, the coconutty hint kind of disappears in the pineapple so straight might actually provide a better, more full taste experience of this Bacardi drink. I’ve singlehandedly worked my way through about a quarter of the bottle but I believe this drink is best left for a special occasion.

As many people know. There is an alternative brand that do a similar drink. But honestly by a mile this is much nicer. It does not have that overpowering sugary taste I’ve had in the past and doesn’t impact flavour at all! The drink itself is very very smooth and goes great with pineapple juice with blended ice! Or a good fail safe of Coca Cola! Honestly so impressed and have already ordered another one.

This was a world away from the sickly sweet Malibu type rum that I drank in my youth and I served this at a summer cocktail party. I had raving comments all night about how delicious this was mixed with almond milk.

The coconut is not overpowering and superior in flavour to white rum. As for the character of this rum, the emphasis is certainly on the coconut here. It’s strong on the nose and the body, and only if you leave the rum in your mouth for several seconds do you get any sense of fruit here, and even then it’s vague, mainly citrus in tone.

It’s a heavy dark drink, It is very strong and it’s got some burn going down but the cinnamon aftertaste seems almost like an Altoid. It’s a great drink for me as it gets the job done too, just a handful of shots and it’s kicking real nicely has a long lasting heat after taking that first drink.

I warn people before taking a drink that it is very much a strong taste and very much an acquired one. It is very smooth for it’s bold flavor as well. It’s a taste that either you love or hate and there isn’t much room for the middle.

It’s a wonderful kickstart drink and even with its strong flavor I would recommend it to a lot of people but it may not be for the people who prefer the fruity drinks as this is very much not one of them, but if you prefer a more powerful flavor then this is definitely for you.

I saw this while looking for something different from the norm. Saw this read the label brought it home. It turned out to be a tasty citrus blend that was smooth shot w/ just a bit of kick from jalapeno.

I put mine in the freezer and did shots w/ friends. Then ended up making Jello shots with sugar free raspberry and Cannon Blast for a Halloween get together and everyone loved them. So now I’m going to try all the flavors and see which I like.

I cannot tell you how much I love this rum! It’s so flavorful and has so much body. It’s nice and thick as well which is something I love. A lot of rums (even spiced ones) do not deliver on the flavor.

Saw Bacardi Lime on display at my LCBO down the street and thought it might taste good with Coke. I usually squeeze a lime into a rum in coke if I have one. It tasted great! I also tried it with soda and it might have been even better.

After looking it up online, I tried a couple additional things that were awesome too. My favourite was a shot of it in a corona. Amazing!.

Wonderful flavor, without being too sweet. It’s slightly lower on the alcohol content, but not loaded with sugar. Perfect for mixed drinks or on the rocks for sipping.

I love this product, I always buy Bacardi Superior white rum to make my favorite cocktails like mojitos, daiquiris and to mix with coke. And for making those you always have to squeeze lime juice. well this product will save you this step and if you don’t have limes handy 😉 delicious!.

Can’t get enough of this rum. It surprised me, it has a sweet aroma, but it doesn’t have a sweet taste, nice aftertaste similar to coffee. I can drink it everyday.

Trotz dieser eher kräftigen Grundstruktur schafft es der Dictador aber mit einer gut ausbalancierten Milde zu überzeugen, sodass man sich problemlos auf die unterschiedlichen Geschmackserlebnisse einlassen kann.

There are recipes on the bottle and you can find tons online! Taste so good not artificial highly recommend!.

Such a yummy drink! It was a mixed drink and it had one of my favorite liqueurs Malibu coconut rum!!! I feel like it was a little watered down but my husband thought it was strong. It came in a plastic fish bowl which was so adorable!! But they would only give you two as a limit.

I love this mix its great for parties. It tastes great and I use it all summer long. I enjoy making cocktails at home with friends and entertaining and it was affordable and tasted great as well! It makes super fun drinks to drink around the pool all year round if you are in Florida like me!.

If you evaluate the “Bacardi Carta Blanca” in its purest taste and aroma, then in simple terms it is a distillate with sweet notes. The alcohol component is not as bright as that of vodka, but still.

A sip of pure rum burns instantly, there is no sweetness in taste (only in aroma). There is no unusual taste game either. In its purest form, I would not drink it without special need. Well, if only you did not find yourself on a frosty night in the middle of the forest and you need to warm yourself.

In combination with cherry juice, rum is good (we recommend the juice from the Ribbon, it turned out to be the most worthy in comparison with others). The cherry is given an additional sweet notes of Bacardi and you get the feeling that you are enjoying an expensive drink.

Even with juice, such a strong drink does its job, intoxication comes quickly, but gently. Caution to girls: a couple of such delicious glasses can be knocked down. But in the morning there are no unpleasant consequences in the form of a headache or a hangover syndrome.

Everything goes softly somehow. I can’t give the maximum mark to Bacardi Carta Blanca, because here we still pay for the brand, rather than for quality. Rum is like rum, without wow and other delights.

Less publicized rum brands (and at a lower price) turned out to be an order of magnitude higher in quality than Bacardi.

I certainly say Bacardi White tastes like vodka but it is a light bodied rum and one of the lightest in the market but beyond that it’s not a bad spirit. It makes a great rumcoke at the bar or club though and that’s why people like it.

If you just want a cheap mixer that is always available readily then this is it. It is also an honest product with no added sugars. You could also sip this in a bind, its really not that bad. BACARDI MOJITO recipe: 50 ml Bacardi Superior 4 lime wedges 12 fresh mint leaves 2 tsp extra fine sugar 25 ml soda water/ club soda spring of fresh mint • Take the lime wedges and squeeze them in the glass.

Gently press together the limes sugar. • Bruise the mint leaves by clapping them between your palms, rub them on the rim of the glass and drop them in. • Next, half fill the glass with crushed ice, add the BACARDÍ rum stir.

• Top with crushed ice, a sprig of mint and club soda.
