He loved it. I try to give gifts that fit with my values, so I like to give experiences or food/beverages so we accumulate less stuff. This gift was both of those things. It was so much fun learning to make whiskey together, and we can reuse the materials, and it came minimally packaged.

I would highly recommend this for anyone who wants to give a creative gift for any whiskey lovers in your life.

Ordered this for my husband’s birthday, and he’s so excited about it. We’ve already got two bottles of bespoke bourbon aging away in our cupboard, and he’s talking about what infusions he’s got planned for the next round.

Purchased for a friend for her birthday to enjoy some whiskey gingers. Previously purchased the Gin Kit for my husband who had fun with it. I didn’t see inside this particular box but based off of the past one the directions to use are a little vague and it is pretty pricey considering you still need to buy the vodka to complete the kit.

Buy it!!! Never be without it!! BAKtrack C8 has taken the guess work out and replaced it with hard data I can trust!!! How I feel after a few drinks is irrelevant; I have the data in my hands now! I take my BAKtrack C8 with me anytime I leave the house knowing I’ll be drinking.

I feel so much more confident, no more paranoia worrying if I’ve had too much. Now I know exactly how much I’ve had. I’ll pause drinking, rinse my mouth and take a few swigs of water, wait a minute, and test.

This is for the C8 model. The standalone mode works great. It gives consistent and accurate result and is easy to use. I bought this because it could also connect to the app and store the data on the phone.

The app mode is very underwhelming and deeply concerning regarding privacy. First of all the need for an online account to store personal medical data is an absolute no thanks from me and I highly recommend anyone not signing up for an account for that reason.

Second, the app is the only point of control. I am an iOS app developer and know it is entirely possible to have just the standalone mode and have the device report to the phone without the need of actually opening the app Withings scales is a good example.

Another issue with app mode is that when you are done the device does not shut itself off. As a matter of fact it is still on right now after the test I took before writing this. At a minimum I would expect it to shut down when the app is closed.

The app itself seem quickly put together without much regard for usability or privacy as per above comments. My conclusion is the app mode feature is a dud. I recommend staying away from the app only models for the above reasons.

This is a product that knows how to make breathalyzers, but it is woefully unprepared for the world of smart devices. In retrospect I would probably have gotten the C6 or for the accuracy perhaps the more expensive S80.

Keeping mine in standalone mode while wishing for a device that can seamlessly connect to my phone.

The C8 arrived very quickly and was well packaged. It included a Duracell AAA battery, which was nice, and 3 mouthpieces. Its a nice, compact unit and feels well made. The display is bright and clear, with enough resolution to actually give full sentence reports and info.

I downloaded the app from the Play Store and had no trouble getting the unit to connect. With no alcohol in my system, it has always given me a 0. 00 reading. It seems to be very accurate, if used 20 minutes after your last drink.

The reason I bought it is because I have a breathalyzer installed in my car. Ive had issues where I was drinking the night before and attempted to use my car the next day after thinking I had enough time to have zero BAC, which I need to be at.

After being wrong a few times and getting in trouble, I bought this unit to ensure I never attempt the car breathalyzer unless I know Im at zero BAC for sure. So far, it has been very consistent and accurate, and my anxiety about knowing if Im truly at zero is gone.

I really feel I can trust it to detect if Im not ready for the car. So, if that is your situation too, this is the unit to buy. 10/10.

I have been bartending for nearly twenty years, so I was very skeptical about using this stuff in drinks. My reputation rides on a decent cocktail. But, increasingly, non-alcohol drinkers are looking for “mocktails” to enjoy when out to dinner or socializing with friends.

So, I invited some friends over for a trial run of this alcohol substitute knowing they would shoot straight about the taste. Surprisingly, it was a big hit. To be clear, it is not meant to drink straight.

It is too watery/bland for that. But, it really shines in margaritas. It is spicy; a peppery finish is substituted for the burn associated with alcohol. Both my “guinea pigs” and I liked that about it.

It adds a depth of flavor you’re not going to get by substituting sparkling water. This is the recipe that garnered all the positive comments: Mango Peach Margarita (serves 8 people) 12 oz. frozen mango chunks 33.

8 oz peach nectar (about 1 qt. – look for Kerns or Jumex in the international section of your grocery) 6 tsp. Bottled or fresh lime juice Blend these three ingredients thoroughly in a blender until smooth.

Add crushed ice to glasses. Add 2 oz. of Ritual Tequila Alternative and 4 oz. of mango/peach blend to each glass and stir.

I purchased the whisky, tequila and rum alternatives. Nothing tastes like the real thing, but here are my reviews: Whisky — Once past the clove taste and smell, it is a passable substitute for my rye and ginger.

It becomes more acceptable the more one drinks it. Rum — This one is almost not drinkable. The clove smell and taste (and something else I can’t put my finger on) is extreme and very off-putting. I had it with ginger ale, but I just bought some cola so will try a rum and coke and let you know.

Tequila — This one came close. I made Cactus Club Margaritas (with jalepeno simple syrup, lime juice and a touch of Triple Sec) and it was good. Overall, the product is okay but too expensive for me to purchase on a regular basis, especially once adding the shipping fee and converting the cost to Canadian dollars.

(Speaking of shipping, the box arrived completely busted up, but the individual boxes inside were miraculously fine. ).

This makes flask number three that we have bought from you and love the quality. This one is an anniversary gift for my husband. He liked the leather but didn’t want to pay the price. So I pulled the trigger and bought it for him to show I see he is worth the it!! We used our two first flasks on our trip to New Orleans it fit perfect in my purse.

My husband stated it was comfortable in his side pocket of his shorts. We also have a YouTube sight called magicdoesntfade and plan to do a review. Cheers.

Seems really solid for a decent price. I should have actually looked at the volume closer though, this is ABSOLUTELY more than just two shots, it’s about 7. If I’d seen a pic of it in someone’s hand or had a dimensional measurement I definitely would have gone with the small one, this one isn’t fitting discretely into any pockets or anything of the sort, though that’s not a flaw in the product.

Would recommend.

Great flask, have given several to friends. Looks great, and easy to pack for those treks into nature. Only comment: Would be nice to be able to remove the leather for cleaning the flask. Otherwise excellent product.

Just like it is in the photos! Glass is nice weight, and I really like the wood tray for the stones and that they are a variety of different colors/textures and not all the same. I didn’t plan of keeping the box but it’s so nice I’ve been using it to store them for now until I get my bar area set up.

Definitely would recommend as a great start up for someone interested in whiskey.

it was different and unique that’s the first thing I like it’s a thermos sippy cup martini glass you can travel with I really like this some other sellers sold it for $24. 95 but it was easier for me to buy it at Walmart thank you.

Got this jus the fire Xmas. Had seen the reviews online and to be honest I was a little dubious. The beer does come usually with a big head but that may be just my technique at the moment. Have used it throughout the festive period and was beginning to think it didn’t make that much difference until I had a can of lager without using the machine.

It tasted flat in comparison. I would say this device does exactly what it says. Makes bottled and canned beer taste like draft. Brill (although it is a bit expensive).

Only 650ml intake, makes this item not worth the money. There’s others in Robert Dyas website that take in 5 L and have a cooling system – same price and much better and with it! Saying that, this dispenser was sturdy and good quality.

But my Dad’s only used it once based on the fact it’s only for 650ml. A bit of a waste.

Ordered this in white for my beer loving Significant Other. It arrived a few days ago and he was skeptical at first, as usual, of the “gadget” but now he is using it each day when he enjoys his daily two cans of beer.

Easy set up for first and subsequent use. Nice to have battery and plug in options included. Appears to be built well and with care should provide a long time of enjoyable use. Glad I purchased something good for my “hard to buy for” guy.

I bought these to go in my purse, suitcase while traveling and home. I use them to clean my phone and my Apple watch. These are the perfect size to clean small electronics or other items that you touch alot and pick up and put down on surfaces.

My partner and I use them daily to clean our phones especially since we take our phones everywhere. The swab comes folder. When opened its no larger than 2-3 inches wide, so again this is for tiny or small jobs not for large areas that need sanitizing or cleaning.

I am a first-time buyer of this product. The other swabs/pads I use have been continually out-of-stock; so, I decided to give these a try. I am so glad that I did because they’ve exceeded my expectations given the low price and the generous quantity of pads.

At first, sight unseen, the quality seemed too good to be true, and I had low expectations given the price and quantity. But, although the pads are thinner in material used than the other pads I’ve used in the past, the absorption/retention of this Curad pad’s 70% alcohol content is very good! Plus, I appreciate that I have no allergy on my skin after wiping my skin with the pad before applying medicine patches.

I also have used the pads to wipe down my cell phone, and I love using it on my phone because the transparency allows me to see what I am doing and is just the right size and amount of alcohol.

These are better than most. They are thicker and a single pad that doesn’t fold out. My only complaint is that I wish they were a little bigger. I use them to change my insulin pump and cgm sites and usually have to use several.

They are priced really well on Amazon though for a 4 pack. Overall great value.

I’ve tried meticulous cleaning, opening and closing the lid, and cleaning the bar code reader, but it still fails to read capsules. However, if I turn the power off and on without opening the lid, it instantly reads the capsule.

So it’s not related to cleaning or how I closed the lid. I contacted customer support who at first of course tried to blame me, but finally gave me return authorization for repair. They received unit at close of business Friday.

Monday was Memorial Day holiday so machine wasn’t looked at until Tuesday. On Tuesday, they decided nothing was wrong with machine and sent the same defective unit back to me along with a gaslighting email saying if I was having issues with the machine, it must be my fault.

They totally refuse to acknowledge the issues I’m having or that there could be anything wrong with their machine. They even went so far as to suggest something us wrong with the electrical outlets in my 10yr old house and that’s why the machine doesn’t work correctly.

If you’re lucky enough to get a fully functional unit, everything should be great for you. But if you’re as unlucky as I was and receive a defective unit, be aware that customer service is non-existent with this company, and be prepared for the gaslighting and being blamed for whatever is wrong with the machine.

This company does not care about the quality of the product, nor do they care about the customer.

Of course all the recipes for the drinks it makes can be made without the machine, but at least for me I was not making them. Managing all the juices, syrups, herbs, etc. on top of everything else in 2020, no, I was not doing those things.

This is the barrier the machine takes away. You still need to purchase the spirits; sometimes you still need to shake the shaker (Cosmopolitan, for example) – the machine solves for having to have the more esoteric ingredients and then it also speeds up the prep – no muddling, squeezing, etc.

So, by and large they have left in the “easy effort” steps like buying a bottle of your favorite tequila and taken out the “harder effort” steps like measuring out four kinds of juices. Now there is also the competing Drinkworks.

Drinkworks is by Keurig which is a big publicly traded company; this product is a startup – so, advantage to Keurig there. Drinkworks is also the only machine that can pop out a Moscow Mule or Mojito since Bartesian has no CO2.

If those are your two favorite drinks and you want them in this type of convenient fashion then Drinkworks is probably the choice for you. Otherwise the Bartesian is more than likely your better option unless you’re swayed by the vendor viability argument mentioned above.

Sure, Drinkworks can make a Vodka Soda, a Gin and Tonic, a “Whiskey Cola” — but do you really need a machine for those very basic combos? Once you get past those five drinks then the Bartesian does all the other things the Drinkworks does, except that: 1) You control the spirits on the Bartesian – which, in the Drinkworks sometimes you don’t even know what brand of spirit is in there 2) You control the portion of spirits on the Bartesian – for many customers that’s the difference in a drink hitting or missing the mark 3) The Bartesian doesn’t have refrigeration – but – kind of like the ‘Gin and Tonic’ issue, this is easy to solve – just put some ice cubes in the water reservoir, or have all your drinks go into the shaker with ice, or both.

Having now had the machine for a couple of weeks the proof is in how it has affected our drink choices – by taking away the ‘ingredients’ (oh, no, no white grape juice around) and ‘time to prep’ barriers we have diversified and brought cocktails back to the table more often.

If that sounds good to you, the machine is definitely worth a try.

I couldn’t find any negative reviews or any cons. All the benefits of the cocktail maker were pros. I have owned the Bartesian for a few weeks. We have used it several times. There are 3 adults in my home and we all have made our favorite drinks.

We have all used the strong setting (comparable to a drink made at a bar). I purchased the sample pack of capsules for the experience of tasting flavors I wouldn’t ordinarily order. I haven’t found any I don’t like.

Here are my reasons for liking the Bartesian: 1. I can purchase the capsules I like most. 2. I can use the spirit I prefer most. 3. I can have unlimited drinks if I desire. 4. I don’t have to worry about drinking and driving because I’m home when I’m using it.

5. I can try new flavors by ordering different capsules. 6. I can subscribe to receive the capsules if I desire. 7. If I have a gathering at my home, my guest can make their own drink without anyone having to make drinks missing out on all the fun.

8. COVID can’t shut down my home. So if and when the bars are closed, I can always safely have a drink at home. Overall, it’s a great investment and well worth the cost. The machine pays for itself in a quick amount of time by saving me on buying expensive drinks in a club or at a restaurant.

I have been preparing meals at home more since I made my purchase.

I have every top name brand of cooler thermos mugs there is. Since I watched a comparison video that demonstrated that all of them kept ice for nearly the exact same time, I chose the ORCA COOLER because it’s the classiest of all.

I love the grainy textured orange color that gives you a good grip on sweaty days. The whale tale design Incorporated on the front as well as in the flip up tab add so much character and charm. Unlike some of the lids of the more expensive brands, that have a drink hole but no way to keep the liquid from spilling out, the lid of the ORCA COOLER has the flip up whale tail to close it off.

I highly recommend this cooler because of it’s overall charm and it’s ability to perform with the best! It’s a reminder of the times I spent at the coast actually whale watching!.

My Custom Branding Orca tumbler… I love it! My hand is small, but the texture/shape of the 27 oz. tumbler helps me grip it with no problems. The wording, which was centered perfectly, supports my favorite football team.

This is the most reliable cup and it’s made of good quality. This is our second purchase the first one is the older design and it works well all though it has some chipping around the bottle edge, we still use it daily.

I would highly recommend buying this cup you will definitely get your money’s worth.

Let’s be completely honest. This thing is amazing. Awesome. Works great. Used everytime I’m having a bourbon. I have 2 for myself and giving two away to my best friend so that he can enjoy also. I tell literally everyone who’s seen my posts on social media and asks (I’m a guy not an influencer so the above statement is limited to the number of people it affects) what it is and where to get them.

These are nice. I purchased two of them for my son’s birthday. The silicone insert fits nicely and tightly inside the glass with no room for error. In fact, after my son placed two one of them in the freezer, one was accidentally knocked over, yet did not spill, which is nice.

The inserts are also easily removable. Once frozen, the ice looks exactly as it does in the picture. So – after you add your alcohol, you get a perfectly slanted drink. Really cool! They’re quite masculine looking, which is nice.

The only thing I didn’t like about them is that because the glasses themselves are frozen (with the ice inside of them), they get cold – – really cold. Like, you can’t to hold them in your hand for too long.

I hadn’t thought about that before purchasing them. They’re much colder than a glass with a simple ice cube added to it. This is definitely a negative, but the cool factor of these glasses makes them worth it for my son.

The Corkcicle Whiskey Wedge is for people who enjoy their liquor on the rocks. The ice has a large surface area that keeps it frozen longer than ice cubes or ice balls, but keep in mind, it will dilute the whiskey if you drink slowly.

Overall, I like these glasses a lot. I plan to purchase more as gifts for friends and family.

This product appealed to me because of its compact size. Figured it would be a good way to stay safe and I was interested in how fast/slow alcohol metabolizes. Unfortunately it doesn’t work at all. Readings so up while actively ingesting alcohol but does not accurately measure readings following active drinking.

Bottom line, if you’re interested in knowing that you have an elevated BAC while drinking (an obvious result considering the basic understanding that ingesting alcohol raises a BAC level) then this product is for you.

Otherwise as inexpensive as it is, it’s just not worth it if you are looking for accuracy.

I got this today. Have been playing with it to see if it reflected what I was drinking. Had been drinking some 3. 2% coolers. Kept registering 0. 0. Called customer service. Answered right away. Explained low alcohol level in drinks probably would register 0.

0. So drank 2 drinks. One 4. 5% and one 5%. Waited my 20 minutes. Was0. 5%. So about an hour later drank 25 oz of 8% alcohol. In about 45 minutes. Waited 20 minutes. I was feeling pretty buzzed. Registered 1.

1%. I think it registered pretty reliable.

I have the full kit one in my house for parties; like my guests to use before driving. Find most thing it will be fun! I have the small keychain one for myself, I purchase one for a friend and recently one for my brother.

I “blew” into the one I have at home (Police style) and then blew into the keychain one- same number. So rest assure these things work and are accurate. After a glass or two of wine at a restaurant it’s good peace of mind to check and know you are okay to drive AND below the alcohol level for a DUI.

I would imagine if you did get pulled over having a BACtrack with you and showing it to a Police Officer would help your case- maybe?! Highly recommend this product- works as it says. Have had my keychain one for a couple of years, no problems.

To give you some context, I used to adore gin but can no longer drink alcohol. I like the Lyre’s ‘gin’ quite a lot. I was tempted to stray from the Lyre’s by this gorgeous blue bottle. Sadly, like a couple of the other reviewers here, I thought this didn’t taste of anything much.

I am a big fan of coriander, juniper, lavender and lemon – some of my favourite flavours there. These are all mentioned on the bottle but indiscernible on the palate. I first tried this with soda so as not to disguise the taste; so disappointing.

Like another reviewer I then tried it neat; it’s kind of weird, the fragrance is promising but then the taste is insipid. Then I tried it with some Fevertree tonic and then some bergamot based tonic; both of the were pleasant but I fear it was the tonic that I was enjoying and not the ‘gin’.

Sadly disappointed. Back to the Lyre’s for me.

I haven’t actually tried the product, but imagine my surprise when I opened the box and there were two bottles inside, when I only ordered one. Turns out I received someone else’s order. My bottle was one of the two, so bonus free bottle for me, YAY! I reached out to the company to advise them, but never heard back.

Moral of the story – check the packing slips and make sure you got your own order, but don’t expect a timely customer service response if mistakes are made!.

I love the idea of an alcohol free gin. This was my first try. I love juniper and was so excited to order this. Sadly I I couldn’t taste anything at all when I added it to soda, so I tried it neat. It really has virtually no flavour or aroma at all, just a very light scentless heat like extremely dilute ginger beer.

Now I’m worried to try others as these are not cheap. The bottle is extremely gorgeous though.

BD’s pads are thicker than all the others I’ve tried. I use each one twice and these work perfectly. Other brands dry out quickly. BD swabs are thicker and softer so there is no comparison. Price is very similar to others, but the quality is way better.

I buy 3 or 4 boxes at a time and use them daily so these are an important product for me. You won’t be disappointed if you buy these.

These are great compared to the Walmart brand! Walmart brand is pathetic! A thin piece a toilet paper thick material with a dab of alcohol! Just barely enough for one shot let alone 2 which is what I have to do twice daily for the past 56 years.

The Walchina brand evaporates before you can do the next shot (5seconds)!!! I complained and they keep putting the crap out! Spend the extra $ and get quality swab from BD!!!.

I’ve purchased this brand of alcohol pads in the past. They are small, thick, and very useful. I primarily use them for testing blood sugar, but these are strong enough to stand up to other small projects throughout the home.

These have become my go-to alcohol pad brand.

This is a great glass but make no mistake when ordering it…understand that it is 3 shots total – not 1 shot and 1/2 shot.

I honestly only buy a handful of different pods. Old Fashion, LI Iced Tea, and the Margarita. These are my staples. I have, and will continue to purchase others but they are few and far between. The Margarita is a very refreshing cocktail.

Flavors are very good but it is on the sweet side when made on regular strength. Make it strong and don’t forget the to salt the rim. Party on!!.

I love these! WAY less sweet than Truly/White Claw and taste 1000% better! Watermelon is fantastic, you can’t even taste any alcohol in it, tastes just like watermelon juice and sparkling water. These are great summer drinks, glad my friend introduced me to them!.

Okay wow these are good! The flavor is authentic and refreshing! Other hard seltzers are weirdly malty with a little fake sweetness to them. I’m so happy I found these! The grapefruit is my favorite.

Tastes like a fresh grapefruit squeezed into plain seltzer water with vodka. This is going to be my go-to summer drink!.

I realize these don’t technically have an expiration date, but they have fruit juice in them so there should be some limitation on how long stores sell them for. Total wine had an entire end cap of High Noons that were made in July 2021, that they were still selling in last August 2022.

I don’t blame the store, we have come across it other places.

I’m just a little hesitant, I’ve never tried any of your drinks, but excited to try. I’m expecting an interesting experience to usual alternative of alcoholic alternatives, that unfortunately no longer suit’s me and my son has suggested your product as a special gift for Christmas.

I’m just about to purchase the set of choice and intend to give my full opinion to a sober Christmas gifted to maintain and pleasantly up to the challenge to comply. Let’s wait for my true review of the hopeful experience that has been sold to me by the promise to be told.

I love the livener great fior before you go out drinks, social elixir great to keep you going while out, then come home and unwind with a nightcao! I liove all the different flavours and sharp gin like taste so you feel as though you have had a drink.

The affect is similar, you feel relaxed and calm whilst you’re in control, and no hangover is a big bonus. No lost weekends recovering from Friday night. Having been an insomniac for the last 20 odd years, I am pleased to say, after a nightcap I have had a full night’s sleep without nightmares every time I have had my nightcap.

I won’t do without it now.

My wife enjoyed the Nightcap one. The Livener and Social Elixir are loaded with caffeine, which wasn’t stated on the website. I suppose this is what is supposed to give you the lift, but I don’t want the post-caffeine headaches.

I found the predominant flavour in the ones I tasted to be ginger, I would guess this is intended to give the ‘burn’ of a spirit. While I do like ginger, I thought it quite a harsh burn without the smoothness of a good whiskey.

I could do as well with a bottle of ginger beer from the corner shop. My wife may buy again, but for me it didn’t pass the basic test of ‘better than water’.

Delivery was reasonably quick. It tastes just like Fresca, can’t even taste the alcohol in it, you would never guess it was made with gin. The strong might have a tiny bit more alcohol flavor to it than the original but still very mild.

My only complaint was that we ordered 2 extra cases of the cranberry in our order and they were out of stock and rathger than giving us the option to switch to a different type, they just cancelled those items, meaning we paid the same shipping for less items.

Otherwise, great experience.

I’ve had the cranberry, the regular and the zero sugar and liked them all. TW&M finally got the Strong version which I’d been looking for. It too is good. It has a more-alcohol taste, but for whatever reason I don’t feel the 8.

5% more than the 5%. That being the case, I’ll just enjoy the others.

A friend turned me on to Long Drink and the taste surpasses any other cocktail in a can by far. This is a staple in (and out) of the house now – we pretty much take them everywhere on trips with us too.

My parents are even hooked now too!.

I started drinking Clase Azul Reposado in about 2015. I’m retired from the wholesale liquor business. This tequila wasn’t in our market at that time. But in St Louis a small local retail chain of called The Wine & Cheese Place had it imported as an exclusive to their stores.

It was far superior to any Tequila that I’ve ever had in the past. And at $89 a bottle it easily our favorite. We just moved and kept 4 of the hand painted original bottles with their signature Bell on top.

We gave away the other 20. We’ve had the Anejo but still prefer the Reposado. Now it open distribution & that’s a price increase to about $150 & limited availability. Too bad.

The taste is delicious. However I remember it being smoother. It now reminds me a lot of Casamigos Repo. Tequila was packaged wonderfully and arrived a bit earlier than expected. Nice surprise. Based on taste, I now (personally) find this tequila to be overpriced but I’m glad I purchased a bottle of my own.

I’ve only ever had it in restaurants. I would definitely purchase other products from this company again.

I was recently drinking a very fine drink (Tequila) at a Tequila Bar and found myself sitting next to a very popular Tequila Connoisseur. As we were talking about my drink, he suggested Clase Azul Reposado.

This medium bodied tequila is surprisingly light and refreshing with a great aroma. I finally have a “go to” drink and since I’m not a big drinker, having a high quality sipping tequila is right up my alley.

I would suggest purchasing this to anyone. While quality comes at a higher price, this is absolutely worth every drop!.
