Mia had absolutely no interest in these, surprisingly, as she liked the hard yak cheese chews from the same brand. I couldn’t even convince her to take it from my hand. Many times she’ll sniff, then lick, then take into her mouth and sit down to further inspect upon new foods/treats to decide whether it smells good enough to really taste test.

She walked up and sniffed and straight up walked away. Don’t feel it’s fair to give 1 star because this may go over well with other pups, but Mia had absolutely ZERO interest, which is unusual. It’s been maybe 2 months and it’s still laying there completely untouched.

Also, her friend that comes over didn’t have any interest either. which NEVER, I mean EVER, happens! Sadly these were a 1000% fail in this dog loving home!.

I have a very large dog with a beef allergy, so there’s a lot of things he can’t have. Gelatin is used as a binding agent in so many dog treats and it’s so frustrating to find treats that are safe for him.

That being said, these are a great option! I’m so glad to have found these. The bacon and peanut butter flavored ones are good too. He’s always excited to get one of these, they are only minimally messy, and it satisfies his urge to chew something up.

The price on these is great. Highly recommend.

This was more like a cookie treat, my dogs at it in probably 1 minute and didn’t last at all long. All four of my dogs loved them but at them so fast that by the time I went in the room all of them were gone.

I don’t think I will buy them because really wanted them to last a little longer with some chewying involved. They do break up to piece when they chew them. I need to find a harder one. Expensive for a dog treat like a cookie.

I have two small and two large dogs and I think my small one ate it fast than my large dog. I was hoping the where hard like a chew bone.

So, the pill pockets function as advertised. The dogs eat them. There’s nothing wrong there. The real issue is that these STINK to high heaven. I recently used a different brand and type of pill pocket that was made with peanut butter and no meat and the smell is pleasant, if you are agreeable to the smell of peanut butter and apples.

Since that was harder to find, I placed an order for the Peanut Butter pill pockets expecting them to be the same. They are not! Chicken is the main ingredient and I’m not sure you can say they smell like peanut butter or anything other than awful.

Opening the bag made me want to gag. I’d have to scrub my hands immediately after using one not just because it’s the right thing but because I needed that stench to be gone as soon as possible. It was strong and it lingered.

I was so glad when we finally started running out of these because it meant the twice daily suffering would end. I have since found a source for the preferred pill pockets brand that don’t stink and are just as easy to use.

Dogs still eat those just the same. The problem is not with the function, it’s with the experience. If I can give my dogs pills no problem without being subjected to nasal assault, that’s what I’ll do.

I’ll never buy or recommend this product again, even if they do technically perform as advertised.

Our newly adopted rescue dog was diagnosed with heartworm by our vet. (The shelter said she was not infected. ) She is on the road to health, and is in Phase 2 of the protocol. It’s a pretty rough road.

Izzie must remain calm and still 24/7 for 8 weeks. She is a very mellow dog, but there is to be nothing that causes her heart rate to increase. She could clot and die. The vet suggested pill pockets to administer her meds when needed.

We want to make everything as pleasant as possible to assure Izzie’s complete recovery. The pill pockets are large! Izzie is a short-haired border collie mix and she weighs 50 lbs. We cut the pocket in half and molded it around the pill.

Hand out and presto! She takes the pill happily and there is no muss or fuss. I tell you this lonnnng story b/c I want prospective buyers to know: 1) it’s far better than using cream cheese or liverwurst, 2) no difficulty (we let Iz lick a spoon that had some PB on it so she’d recognize the scent), and 3) whether your companion be wee or large, these pockets can be molded to suit your best pal.

That way, they are economical. Be assured: This is a quality product and eases any and all strain on your furkid when giving meds.

I use to find anything I could to put medication in liquid or pill form and it was a pain. I don’t know why I didn’t try these sooner. One of my 5 dogs had teeth removed and needed an anti inflammatory.

I’m so happy I tried these they are amazing! Someone said they aren’t big enough for large oblong pills…. You should crush your dogs medicine anyway but especially large pills so they don’t have to deal with it.

My dogs pills were plenty small but by crushing it then putting it in he had no clue he was taking any meds. I like these so much that I’m switching from their regular daily treat to these. I get more for the money, I can sneak meds in if anyone is on them and they won’t catch on and after I gave all of them one to try that is what sold me.

They LOVED Them. It was quick so no one picking a fight with anyone else either which is a bonus lol and if any ever lose enough teeth that crunchy or firm treats are too difficult that won’t be an issue.

I also love that on chewy you can get a multi pack of 3 different flavors. They are also low in calories which is great for my fat butt puppy lol This is a 5 star treat.

I’ve been buying Dingo-brand dog treats for years; they are my dogs’ favorite treats by far. The quality is excellent, with healthy and fun additions like cheese, peanut butter and chicken. My little maltipoo won’t go to bed without a cheese twist treat accompanying her, and my other three are crazy about the peanut butter ones.

My dog loves these things but there hard to find in the store so I buy on here. Here’s my problem though, in the store there $3. 99 a pack and on here there $5. 99. Not sure why I have to pay $2 more when I’m buying from the makers.

My 55lb (still growing), 6mo old Bully/Pit/Mastiff/Dane/Boxer mix has been chewing on this intently for 20-30 minutes now already and has barely made a dent. Exactly what I was looking for, a sturdy chew that is safe for his teeth and lasts more than a blink! Al tears through the water buffalo tails (and loves them) as well as bully sticks, cow hooves, etc.

The hooves can last a while but only bc he isn’t as zeroed in and engaged by them. The buffalo tails he loves but eats in 10 minutes. I wanted to find him a safe for his teeth chew that was more “chewing” than “eating” if that makes sense, and this is it! He really isn’t interested in the nylabone and similar products and isn’t incredibly food motivated so a food puzzle isn’t usually the right fit for enrichment either.

This is great, I will be ordering more and hope to avoid the consistency issues a few others mentioned here regarding hardness. This is definitely 8/10 hardness as advertised. Happy pup!.

First off, even though I ordered the small size, I was surprised how substantial these were. There were two larger ones and a smaller one. I have a 10 lb terrier puppy and I gave her the small one first- I thought the larger ones would be too much for her since they are very hard.

She was a huge fan until she got about 2/3 of the way through it (which took several days,) then she forgot about it in favor of her other toys. I gave her one of the bigger ones (which was darker colored and had a pleasant smoky scent) and she didn’t have any trouble with it, although she did lose it pretty quickly (it’s most likely under the furniture somewhere.

) Although these bones are very hard, I did toss one onto the hardwood floor and a piece shattered off, so probably don’t do that. There were never any issues with the bones shattering while the dog was chewing on them though, and since the broken pieces can be microwaved and puffed, it’s not any big loss.

My two dogs Kaya and Tyson were sent these treats for free for our honest review. Kaya and Tyson LOVED the flavor of these treats (Turkey Liver and Cranberries). They also LOVED how crunchy these treats were — they’re not picky when it comes to the texture of their treats.

What I loved most about these treats for my dogs were a few things: 1) I love that these treats are made in the USA. 2) The treats are low calorie (less then 3 calories per treat)! 3) The flavor of the treats are unique and my dogs loved them! 4) The bag of treats includes a good amount of treats to be used as either an occasional snack for your pups or (what we like to use them for) for training purposes! This is a great little treat for your dog. Each treat is about the size of an oyster cracker and has only 3 calories. I have an English Labrador Retriever and his name is Charlie Bear! When I first saw this brand, the name caught me eye, for obvious reasons.

Next, only 3 calories got my attention. I buy these in various flavors for my dog and he loves all of them. I highly recommend these because my dog loves them, they help keep him slim and they are very economical.

First time trying this treat. I thought it would be healthy and the label makes it sound flavorful but when I opened the bag I found the pieces are dry, crunchy little buttons. No moisture at all. I gave one each to my dogs and my pekepoo sniffed it then walked away.

My doodle, who usually likes most anything, got it in her mouth then dropped it to the floor. She sniffed it and looked at me as if to say, “There’s no taste. Why is there no taste??” The number one ingredient being WHEAT FLOUR should’ve tipped me off, I guess.

I don’t normally write reviews, but on this product, I thought I should. I wanted a small treat for my chow hound that had glucosamine in it. I read the reviews and saw that some purchasers had found bugs in their batches.

When I opened the box (and bag inside) I thought, bummer, bugs. Then I looked closer and saw that what I thought were bugs were actually flax seeds. I am not saying that the other people that made reviews were incorrect on what they received.

I am just saying that I almost returned mine as well until I realized my mistake. Miss Maggs approves and so do I :).

I opened the box, and the treats are inside a plastic bag, with a twist tie. on the outside of the plastic bag / in the creases, I found some dirt, tiny worms, and white silky web material. I didn’t think anything of it, until after picking off the 3rd or 4th one.

Wish I could’ve taken a picture and submitted it. I kept the package since the treats themselves seem to be ok. (wasn’t going to ship a 15 lb box back!). but wonder if this happened to anybody else?.

my pup loves the himalayan yak chews from Barkworthies AND it takes her forever to whittle them down. i thought I’d try this brand since it was on sale. took her about 20 minutes to demolish the entire thing.

didn’t even realize bc usually she takes days to make a dent so i was not happy that she got through so much in such a short time. the reason i give her yak chews is so she has something that lasts a long time (she can make her way through a bully stick moderately quickly and i wanted an alternative bc she doesn’t super care for antlers).

these also make a mess with little pieces shattering off everywhere and i was honestly worried for her teeth. my dog isn’t even what you’d call a “power chewer” she’s a 37 pound dalmatian. ended up microwaving them to make doggy cheese puffs and that worked much better but again, lasts a couple minutes max which defeats the point.

won’t buy again unfortunately :/ also unclear why they’re different colors in the picture, all of them showed up in the typical light yellow.

the first time we ordered this it was great. our puppy loved it and chewed it often and it lasted a little over a month before it got too small to let het have it anymore. so when it did get too small we ordered the 3 pack.

what a disappointment. they we not all the same size , all were a lighter color , and they have a smoked food kind of smell. the first cheese we had gotten smelled sweet. since some of the cheeses are so small already they won’t last nearly as long as the first and our pup seemed to like the flavor and/or smell of the first one better.

when i ordered the 3 i expected them to be 3 that were all like the first cheese. i ordered from the exact same place and exact same kind as first cheese just got 3 instead of one. expected to get 3 of the same thing as i got before.

so because my 2nd order was deceitful and not what i should have gotten i only give 2 stars.

Our 75lb pit/lab puppy is an extremely aggressive chewer. Any toy that isn’t solid nylon, he will destroy almost instantly. We can’t give him bones, bully sticks, pig ears or any other chews because he refuses to chew on them and tries to hide or bury them.

These cheese sticks and antlers are the only things we’ve found that he will actually chew on instead of hiding. He loves them and they last for days to weeks each, which is unheard of for him. He loves the little puffy treat at the end so much that he barks at it the entire time it’s soaking and in the microwave, and I love that none of it goes to waste.

These are worth every single penny to have something he will actually chew on that lasts!.

My 6month old corgi is obsessed with these. When he sees me putting on my shoes to leave the house, he gets in his crate to wait for these treats. They are bigger than the other Fromm types of treats, so these are not good for training.

But we will always keep a steady supply of these since our boy loves them so much!.

Love these! the ingredients are natural and simple and won’t upset the diets of puppies during training if many are used. Love the size too. They are great for training because of the size and because dogs LOVE liver.

I use these for general training but I use freeze dried liver for rewarding potty outside when first housebreaking. You want to pull out all the stops when it comes to housebreaking :).

These are great biscuits in a perfect size. My dog enjoys it very much. I alway check the ingredients when I purchase dog food and treats, and Fromm has continue to be the top brand in my opinion. Highly recommended!.

My dog has been eating cow ears for at least 2 years. In the past I have purchased the ones from Brazil. Problem with the Brazilian ones is they do not cook them long enough, because they are very chewy and hard to cut through.

I give my dog half of an ear after each meal to help keep her teeth clean. The ones from valuable are cooked longer and I can tell my dog enjoys them more. They are easier to cut through and she finishes them up much quicker in comparison to the Brazilian ones.

It’s my guess that valuable is getting cow ears from America, a clear positive in my estimation. What’s the problem with value bowl? The cow ears are short and small in size. Second problem is valuable has told me that they manually count cow ears.

I have had problems in the past in which I did not get all of the ears that I paid for. But what’s positive is that valuable stands behind their product and if you complain legitimately, they will correct the problem, which is all you can ask of a supplier.

So I think the quality is top-notch but I think valuable has to do two things to get a five-star rating, make sure their accounts are correct and try to source larger American cow ears while keeping the price the same.

If valuable is able to accomplish these items, and there is no doubt in my mind they will be a five-star supplier. And I don’t work for valuable and I only give out five stars when they supplier definitely earns it.

I encourage you to try the cavaliers for your pet and I think you will see that it is a very good product, just make sure that you count the calories! And if you don’t mind the calories being small, then you found your five-star supplier.

But I own a Doberman Pinscher and she will need a large cow ear every time she eats! I’ve literally seen her eat one of these cow ears in less than 60 seconds. Has the veterinarian says about my doberman pinscher, “wow,what a set of choppers! I encourage value to do better.

I’ve been getting pig ears from VPS for quite a while. I have always been extremely happy with the product and the service as well as having happy dogs who enjoy their chew treats. This time, however, as I unpacked the ears I noticed a pretty strong unpleasant smell.

I’ve only opened one of the boxes that has 50 each. I’m assuming the other box might be the same. I am keeping an eye on my dogs because two had a bit of an upset stomach/gut yesterday. It may be totally coincidental.

So I’m trying again today and will keep a close eye on them. If it isn’t bothering them I will continue to give them the pig ears. I just thought perhaps you should know that I was not that happy with the quality this time.

The size and appearance seem fine though.

I have 4 dogs, so a supply of bully sticks for them is typically a small fortune. After finding ValuePetSupplies, I did some research into beef tendons and found that they’re actually comparable, if not a better alternative to bully sticks.

I took a chance on the 20 lb box, and so glad I did! All 4 dogs love them, they’re larger and they last just as long as bully sticks. They do have an odor but no worse than most chews. Will be packaging them in groups with a food saver and will hopefully have a stock for a year or two! They also arrived quickly.

Awesome! My main advice, check the sales. A day or two after ordering, they were about $100 less than what I paid 😞.

I was very dissatisfied with this purchase. First off, they package in a vacuum bag, which, while probably cheaper, allows the contents to break. This they did, to the point of many crumbs, very few intact pieces.

Second, they were packaged together in a large box with other items, thereby causing further breakage. I would not buy these again, unless they change their presentation.

After smelling the patte like cream when filling up my rescue named Kamala’s king I decided to give it a little taste. After reviewing the all natural ingredients I figured a little dollop wouldn’t kill me lol.

I was pleasantly surprised once I tasted it. My pup was definitely a bit jealous when she saw me dabbling in her treat bottle. I got this for my puppy when she was 7 weeks old and every night would fill her small Kong with this at bedtime. It was kind of like her little pacifier but now that she’s 8 months old she still loves it so I’m still buying it! BUT I don’t recommend ordering if the weather is cold as I’m pretty sure that’s what caused the product to blow out the top when it was opened.

I’m a little unhappy with the response from Chewy, wanting me to mail it back versus them replacing it. I’m pretty sure I lost about half the product in the can from it blowing out. I receive these in february, added them on because I knew I would use them eventually and wanted free shipping.

Just got around to using them and pretty sure Montana weather affected the product so just be aware of that!.

This stuff gets my dogs to take their medicine without complaints every time. They love it so much they don’t care the meds are in it lol. It’s great for putting in the Kong toys of course, but just be aware that even with the lid on, the tip of the nozzle dries out a bit between uses and leaves a little dried goop on top.

I don’t think the dogs mind it but you could always wipe it off. I just wish the size was bigger for the price! If you’re regularly filling things with it then you’re going to run out rather quickly.

These treats are my secret weapon for crate training, recall training, and I get instant rapt attention if I just touch the container. The Schipperke and Lab love these. I like the fact that there are small chunks for the former, and bigger pieces for the latter.

If there’s powder at the bottom, it’s a great kibble enhancer. The original container is a pain because the top is hard to reseal, so I decant them right away. If they are exposed to air or humidity, they age very rapidly.

It’s a spendy treat because they are freeze dried organ meat, but if my vet uses them, and my pups crave them, then I’m all in.

I’ve been using Stewart’s Freeze Dried Beef Liver pieces for years as yummy nutritious treats for our retired racing Greyhounds. For the past year I’ve been using it as a nutritious food topper ( with Wellness Core Kibble) for our newest adopted boy, Aslan.

They’ve all loved them`~ Aslan seeks and relishes each morsel before diving into his breakfasts and dinners! I like that he’s in glowing good health ~ and he’s happy, has great energy and a coat that gleams.

As with the comment after this, I’ve noticed my last couple of shipments have been cut in a bit larger chunks. Most dogs, except perhaps tiny toys, would be able to bite through these easily and enjoy it.

Or they can be cut in half. (I’ve been giving a couple fewer at meals). But if you decide to cut them, save every freeze dried chip to add back to the container ~ this is precious nutrition! When chunks are gone, I pour remaining chips and powder over a dinner and mix with a little hot water for gravy, as usual.

First, I have to say that this is a good product and well-priced. Beef is the #1 ingredient. My 4 dogs are always excited at treat time. They were not excited with these treats. Three of them were lukewarm to the treats when they sniffed them, reluctantly taking one.

The small dog, a Siberian, chose to hide hers rather than eat it. I quit offering the treats after a week. I think that the “savory” scent turned them off.

Was going to buy this till I noticed that there are two “natural flavors” added which are anything but natural. Then we have caramel coloring, these additives are not needed. If there are real ingredients in something why would you need to add fake flavorings, and a dog does not care what color its food is.

My dog is SOOOOO picky! He doesn’t like most dog food, or even treats. Never fails that when I get something them CSFTS, he eats it right up! The ULTIMATE compliment! He usually likes it when I break things into tiny pieces for him, but with these sticks, he puts them right in between his paws and eats it like a little kid enjoying a lollipop.

We had purchased Himalayan Yak chews form other companies in the past, but after discovering Best Bully Sticks, I decided to try theirs. We are more than happy with them and will not purchase from anywhere else again.

The chews are long lasting, even for heavy chewers. I like that you get different sizes in each pack. These chews leave minimal mess. There is some mess when chewing, but it’s not much. My favorite part is that this is a hard chew, but it’s small enough that when the pup drops them, they don’t make a loud noise on the floor (like the marrow bones).

I took a chance and ordered them. My dog is a very strong chewer and she tears through most things called “chews” in seconds (thankfully only her designated chews). Even Bully sticks don’t last long.

These are great. She loves them, they last a long time, are hard, (but not too hard – I worry about bones), DON’T splinter or break and (best of all) are easily digested. I love them. I just put them on subscription.

I hardly ever write reviews, but I’m so impressed with these yak chews I just had to! I have an aggressive chewer(Staffordshire Bull Terrier) and she’s used to getting yak chews that take her 30 minutes to finish.

I expected the same but was hoping for better quality when I ordered these – not only are they better, odorless, and cause less flatulence in my dog, but she’s been working on the same chew for a whole day!! I am AMAZED, since most of her toys don’t even last that long.

My little Maltese and Shih Tzu mixed dog just loves anything with bacon. The Darford Grain Free Bacon Recipe Dog Treats, 12 oz pack is her favorite. All she has to do is hear the bag rustling in the panty and her ears are up and her tail is wagging.

She is almost three years old, so I want to make sure she is getting nutritious food and this Darford treats being grain free are good for her. She loves them like they are a piece of bacon straight out of the pan.

She has other treats, but the grain free ones are the ones that I want her to continue to enjoy and I will be switching all her treats over to the Darford brand. The treats look like they taste yummy and telling from her reaction they must taste great to her.

I also loved that they are only 6 calories per treat, so I usually break them in half or quarters and get a few treat/praises out of one treat. We’ve been using them to lure a heel, and they have been working out extremely well! Eva is a very, VERY picky eater, and she also has chicken allergies; so I was very happy to see this option in this price point (you truly get a lot of treats in the bag!).

Eva liked them so much I am going to try some of the other flavors. I cannot believe I finally found a low-calorie, medium-high value treat for my pup! Thank you so much, Chicken Soup :).
