20 Best Cheese For Ham (2022 Updated)

This a delicious sharp American cheese that I grew up eating. It melts beautifully and makes the best grilled cheese sandwiches and baked macaroni. It is only available in parts of New England and upstate New York.

When we moved to Kentucky we really missed our fav cheese so searched for it online and found Webstaurantstore. com carried it! We buy it 10# at a time! Even with shipping the cost is less than we paid for it in New England.

I had this cheese as suggested by a waitress on my tuna melt at a local restaurant and have to say it is super creamy and smooth and just melds right into the tuna and other ingredients of the sandwich.

so much better than Swiss cheese which does not melt and meld together with the other tuna melt ingredients. I am truly impressed and intend to have it again. It is just a totally superior cheese in the way of its melting consistency.

I can see where this would be a superior choice for mac and cheese dishes.

I love this cheese. However, my shopper got me American cheese slices!!!! One hundred and sixty American slices. When I get a chance to go shopping myself, I will get the 2 lb. Cheddar block!!

Such a great go-to when you’re not too hungry, or if you’re like me, I’ll generally eat two as a meal. Besides the hot pocket oozing out cheese every once in a while, its such a good snack. Just enough meat and cheese to suffice your cravings.

9 out of the 10 times, it cooks well in the microwave and a simple solution to wanting a bite to eat. The sleeve that comes with it also is super convenient to get a good crust all around, and turns into a mini holder to make it that much better.

I love hot pocket and so does my mom ehen she visits. Its really delicious. The ham really tast like ham but the cheese could get a more real cheese flavor and get stringy:) After I put it for 3/4 of the time in the microwave I put it in my toaster oven and toast the rest (bout 5 minute) doesn’t vhsnge the color of the outside but taste so much better.

Personally, I think cabot makes the best cheese out there. I love the packaging, you get SO MUCH PRODUCT for your money; one block will last my huge family for ages and ages. The taste is impeccable, I like a really strong sharp cheddar and this does it for me.

I ordered my regular Cabot sharp cheddar cheese. Instead I received 2 8 oz pkgs of Cabot Vermont extra sharp cheddar cheese. I made a casserole with 4 oz shredded on top. The cheese completely ruined the whole casserole with its horrible taste.

I had to throw out the whole thing. I would like a refund on both packages. I will not use the unopened one.

Boy was I blown away. I got the regular old Cooked Ham. Everyone’s had it right? Wrong, not me. My Mother bought cheaper brands, saving cents. I can totally understand, my budget being razor thin most of my life, but I had never had Oscar Mayer Ham before.

The 20cents to 50cents more than the cheaper brands in price made it an easy way to just shave off money to use in the chicken and steak department. I made a sandwich on Sourdough with Mustard and Romaine, I hate to say this but, I literally moaned “mmmmm” after I took every bite.

Sounds ridiculous right? I felt ridiculous, but I could not stop. My boyfriend asked “You ate the entire sandwich? You never eat that much!” The Ham was so amazingly good! I now understand the #makeeverysandwichcount life.

I made open-faced ham and swiss sandwiches for lunch. I broiled layers of honey ham topped with swiss cheese and garnished with olives. It was quick and easy to make a warm satisfying lunch before the game.

It would be great for an anytime snack or make a platter full for game day guests. You could top it with the cheese and toppings of your choice. For breakfast, I lightly browned the honey ham and Sautéed sweet peppers.

Then I added this to scrambled eggs and topped it with shredded cheese. The honey ham made this a delicious and hearty breakfast. Honey ham isn’t just for sandwiches. I want to try the honey ham in macaroni and cheese next.

It’s great to have honey ham on hand because there are endless dishes you can make with it.

This cheesy ham is a fun little bonus to add to a sandwich and/or snacks. I used it for a ham and cheese sandwich and also used it to create a fun little snack try got my young son. Both of us really enjoyed the flavor of it.

It’s surprisingly less salty than the regular ham which I love because the saltiness isn’t overpowering. The ham is also moist enough to add to the fresh taste. Overall, I am satisfied Roth the flavor and my son really loved it as well.

I was hoping that these would be a great addition to snacks for my kids on the go, but they are not very good at all. I originally thought I may not like the crackers since they have been kept in the cold.

I thought they might be kind of soggy. This wasn’t the case, so it was nice to bite into them and they still be crunchy like a cracker should be. That being said, they are overly salty and had a strange seasoning so I couldn’t finish eating them.

My kids didn’t care for these either and ended up just eating the cheese by itself. The cheese was nice and smooth and creamy, so I enjoyed that. It is a mild tasting cheese which is likely good for kids but I didn’t care much for how bland it was.

My kids did like the cheese though. The salami was nice and firm with a good bite but too was overly salty and so mild that I just didn’t enjoy it either. My kids, didn’t mind much though. So overall I would say that kids might enjoy these since the lunch meat and cheese are mild, but I’m not sure about the crackers.

I just tried Oscar Mayer Natural Meat and Cheese Plates. I was nervous because when I hear Oscar Mayer I think of hot dogs and bologna, not meat and cheese plates. I was happy to see that there are 390 calories with 18g of protein.

The 940mg of sodium is high but I give that a pass since salt is used in meat processing. I was extremely impressed by the taste. The cheese is sweet and subtle, the crackers are filling and dense, and the salami is very bold.

I then tried them in a sandwich form and they play very well, the cracker cuts through some of the boldness of the salami and the cheese adds sweetness in contrast to the salty cracker and savory salami.

I purchased the Oscar Mayer natural incited hard salami and white cheddar cheese snack pack with whole wheat crackers. I was a bit apprehensive to start as I wasn’t sure how fresh everything would taste, boy was I wrong.

Me and my family love this cheese. My 11 month old loves it and it’s the only cheese I choose to give him. When he won’t eat and is being fussy, he’ll always eat this cheese and avocados lol. The taste is wonderful, great with grapes and crackers.

The Darigold Medium Cheddar cheese block is so delicious. This cheese is perfect for shredding. When you shred cheese yourself the cheese melts better and it is perfect for macaroni and cheese. The taste is amazing it has a fresh and sharp taste like sharp cheese.

I love the block because it has multiple ways it can be used from shredding to slicing it for a sandwich or grilled cheese. I have no problem with feeding this to my family.
