Dearest Cabot, I have exclusively been buying Cabot Seriously Sharp Cheese for 25 years because it was perfectly sharp, was rich with flavor and had great texture. We were in a devoted relationship. This past 6 months, something changed about you.

Your cheese has become bland, rubbery and, quite frankly disappointing. I had hoped this mild, cheap-tasting, Kraft-knock-off was not here to stay. This is not the Seriously Sharp we know and love and clearly corners are being cut somewhere.

To my dismay, based on your customer communications as well as lack there of, it seems you have no plans to rectify the matter. I bought a large block this week thinking maybe it had something to do with the small block batches, and – against my own better judgement – “maybe it’s me?” No.

I don’t think I can finish this block of cheese that for 25 years has stood my favorite. For the record, I never wanted it to be like this. I’ve given you the past 6-months but will give you no more of my time.

This love affair has now come to an end. I will now begin my search for a new brand of cheese. I hope you find whatever customers it is that you’re looking for. – Jacqueline P. S. It’s not me it’s you.

Cabot’s Extra Sharp White Cheddar taste is Excellent traditional Vermont Black Wax White Cheddar Style. Now available in Walmart in two sizes. No need to go to Vermont or wait for a mail delivery. I have bought large round Black Wax Aged Extra Sharp White Cheddar cheese in Vermont numerous times ever since the 1960’s.

I drove to Vermont from neighboring states for the day, primarily just to buy the cheese. It is that good! Now I can get it at Walmart. It adds an excellent flavor to macaroni and cheese. Or even some sprinkled into lasagne.

Eat it plain with your favorite cracker or on an old fashioned Apple pie. I have even frozen the larger plastic wrap size. Tastes great but crumbles a bit more. Although Cabot says to refrigerate not freeze on the package I have frozen it to last and cut a thick slice off to eat.

It warms up and makes it easier to slice. Sometimes it crumbles more but still you can put on a cracker, a sandwich or bake it.

This Vermont cheese is WONDERFUL! I normally buy Cracker Barrel (2 blocks) for my baked macaroni and cheese, but substituted one for Cabot’s Vermont Sharp Cheddar Cheese when I found it on sale at Kroger.

What a great mix! The taste of this cheese is WONDERFUL and gives a tangy, sharp cheddar taste unlike the Wisconsin or New York cheddar cheeses. I highly recommend Cabot’s Vermont Sharp Cheddar, either white or yellow.

I’ve tried both.

Guess I have lucked out with my store, because so far, my cheese has always been within date, not wet, not smelling of mold, and no rind running through and through. It’s a soft pliable cheese, with the usual white rind, has the usual brie smell, as any brand I have had.

And it heats up nicely with brown sugar, maple syrup, a bit of black pepper and pecans. And I use the Wal-Mart demi baguettes to serve it on. I have tried a couple savory recipes and they are okay, but I like the sweet, much better.

Oh, and don’t forget to thinly slice pears and place them on the baguette, then top with a spoonful of the brie concoction. MMMMMM!!! Granted there are a couple other brands I prefer, but no one is selling them in my area anymore, so this is my 3rd choice but serves us well.

Should I receive a wheel or brie as several have notated, I will pitch a fit!.

President Brie cheese with noble white mold, covered with a very delicate white mold only on the outside. Moreover, this mold does not cause associations with mold at all. Its structure is velvety and pleasant to the touch, and the smell is absolutely not repulsive, though specific.

The aroma is specific, but pleasant, slightly mushroom, without a putrid smell and sharpness. The taste of President Brie cheese is fantastic! Soft and delicate, creamy, with nutty-mushroom notes at the crust.

I’ve given this brie multiple tries over the years, and I always end up disappointed. I think today was the last time I’ll ever buy it. Everyone knows this isn’t a high-end cheese. this is what you get to put on a cheap cheese board to try and make it look fancy.

but even so, even as a cheap alternative, I just can’t recommend it. It has one big issue. There’s this really prominent acrid bitter flavor. have you ever inhaled while someone was spraying Lysol in the room? That’s what it tastes like.

it almost completely covers of the more delicate buttery flavor associated with Brie, for me it makes it completely unenjoyable. I’m so thankful that I have a good quality Supermarket that sells specialty Cheeses near me.

From now on, I will skip getting this knock off, and get a decent one there. yes, it’s more expensive, but if you want a good Brie, you’re going to pay for it.

This cheese is so delicious!! I love cheese and have tried so many but Cabot is definitely one of the best. It’s an affordable price- not what you’d expect from a specialty cheese. I love the Cabot company too.

I’ve gotten free cheese coupons recently just for giving blood- which I was going to do anyway. They really support those that give back. I feel good spending my money with them.

My Dad was from VT so Cabot was the go to brand growing up. I love the sharp cheddar cheese. By far the best brand for taste. I like sharp cheese to be sharp and Cabot delivers. It is great just to eat and is wonderful in cooking.

Can’t beat homemade mac and cheese with Cabot sharp cheddar.

Cabbot cheese is soooo good! They have a large variety of cheeses. I love all the Sharp cheddar variations they carry! I always have to have cheese in my fridge I highly recommend cabbot brand cheeses to other cheese lovers!.

I love Kraft cheese. It is always consistently tasty, moist and made with real milk. I also like its versatility: it’s great in mac and cheese, as a grilled cheese sandwich, on hamburgers or for snacking with crackers.

It melts easily and smoothly. Kraft is a name people have relied on for more than 100 years and will be a name I will continue to rely on.

delivery is great. like the fact that i can easily get a refund if something is missing or damaged. like that you let me know if something is substituted and the option to change it if i don’t like the sub.

like that your shoppers are your employees and if you don’t have what i want you will substitute it with something of equal value or more expensive eith no extra charge. i am going into my second year as a member and have no complaints.

I trust President brand and often buy their cheese. Feta is just amazing! Crazy about it. Pleasant saltiness and nice texture. You can cut it in cubes for your Greek salad, slice thinly for your sandwich or just shred it on your plate.

I like adding it to my salads.

The cheese was MUSHY. Extremely soft and mushy. I’ve tasted different kinds/types of feta but nothing of this consistency. It was borderline cream cheese and lacking in flavor. I returned it to the store for a refund.

If something is a different flavor make the packaging noticeably different. The original flavor is literally identical except for a small square with miniature writing on it that says this one has horse radish in it.

It tastes disgusting. I literally thought it was expired.

This is pretty good! We’re a huge fan of sharp cheddar and have recently become obsessed with dips and spreads and this fits the bill. Has a whipped like texture and is really creamy and has that sharp cheddar bite to it.

It has a cheese whiz flavor with a consistency like whipped cheese whiz. If you don’t mind that artificial flavor and consistency, you’ll probably like this, but I was very disappointed. I don’t know what to do with the rest of the tub☹️.

I’ve tried to find a large tub of cottage cheese and was happy to see such an item at Costco. In spite of the fact they only carried low fat, I bought it anyway hoping the low fat version tastes as good as just plain old cottage cheese.

And. it DOESN’T. What I don’t understand is why someone would think that 2% fat is so much more healthy than 4%. Seems to me you’re just kidding yourself if you think 2% is going to be healthier than 4%.

I also read someone say it’s so smooth and creamy. Ok. I’ll buy that. ALL cottage cheese is smooth and creamy. What I’m interested in is flavor, and this 2% cottage cheese isn’t nearly as flavorful as 4%.

In fact. it hardly has a flavor. I have no idea why Costco would choose to carry 2% rather than 4%, but they do, and since it’s the only choice I have I buy it. Perhaps Costco will read this post and begin carrying 4%.

In summary. if you enjoy eating cottage cheese that is tasteless, or it’s the only choice you have. then buy the 2% Daisy cottage cheese.

Daily Reviews: I generally start my day with cottage cheese with fresh fruit ,rye toast and coffee. Sometimes I add a glass of orange juice because it goes perfect with my morning meds. I prefer the small curd cottage cheese and usually buy daisy when I’m shopping for sour cream or cottage cheese.

I buy the large container because it’s a great buy. I buy daisy because of the healthy ingredients.

I love this!! Thick and super creamy. The curds are the perfect size. The flavor is delicious. It only had 4% milkfat. 1/2 cup is a serving size, which is alot. 5g of fat, 20mg of cholesterol, 390mg of sodium and 110 calories.

They do have a non fat version, but I never tried it. I highly recommend this!! Also goes great mixed with fruit!! Nom nom!!❤❤❤.

This feta cheese was incredible. I loved it so much and it kept very well! I loved putting it on salads. I’m not great at describing food but something about it makes it so good, definitely worth the price! I highly recommend and can’t wait to buy again soon.

Very tasty but very expensive. i love to use this as a splurge for salads at lunch. it’s also amazing melted on top of my Mediterranean zucchini boats. they don’t use fillers and it’s all natural ingredients, very tasty and high-end.

Favorite to sprinkle on top of our tomato salad! I hear ya, this cheese is not everyone’s fave. It wasn’t mine either. But you slice in half the variety of Cherry tomatoes, shave most of the skin off a fancy cucumber and slice in quarters, add shaved red onion, Kamala olives, and fresh dill in a bowl.

Emulsify olive oil, white wine vinegar, salt, pepper, and olive juice and pour it over the tomato salad. Top with cheese and I swear to you that acidic juice with cut through that stinky cheese and add that creamy saltines the salad needs! Enjoy!.

This is my new “go-to” dry curd or Farmers Cheese! I will forever mix this with my small curd cottage cheese for the extra tang. Can be used in sweet and savory cheese taste treat sensations! Just add a little sugar mixed with small curd cottage cheese and bake with pastry dough for desserts or mix with small curd cottage cheese for perogies.

I will always use this feta cheese fried with my French Toast, maple syrup, Mandarin oranges and powder sugar.

I’m disappointed in this product. Over the past several years, the “crumbles” have become practically dust instead, rendering the feta extremely dry. It’s convenient for use in moist dishes, but of course the best feta is sold in brine at a Greek shop (or you can put a block in a water/salt mix yourself and change it out once a week or so).

I’m afraid I’m going to have to give up on this particular style of feta unless/until it becomes moist crumbles again.

Kraft singles are an American classic. what else can you say about the product? quality? The company however, is a what I have a problem with. Shrinkflation is real people, and here’s your proof. Not only did they raise the price of the slices, but they’ve also reduced the package count/size, so you’re paying a LOT more than you think you are.

Since WHEN is 22 slices standard packaging concerning sliced cheese? If you do the math, that’s an 8. 3 percent reduction in size, coupled with the (alleged) 8 percent inflation; you’re in all actuality paying almost 20 percent more for the package than you were a year ago.

And it’s only gonna get worse, before it ever gets better.

My first time buying Good & Gather shredded cheese and definitely the last. It has a weird, plastic-like texture that left a weird film over my tongue and teeth. It has almost no flavor either. It does melt really well, but that’s about all it has going for it.

This good and gather cheese is a reasonable price. It’s not sharp tasting and goes well with tacos, nachos, as a topping for lasagna. The good and gather brand is sold at Target. It also melts nicely and doesn’t need a lot of heat to melt.

Yes I would recommend others try it.
