20 Best Cheese With Pears (2022 Updated)

Got at Grocery Outlet for $1 but in different packaging. Years ago I tried different types of vegan cheese but they never tasted good and never melted. To my surprise the Daiya American Cheese tastes like real cheese and melted.

Made grilled cheese with it. Don’t see it anymore for $1 but would buy again.

Pretty decent. I find that most Daiya stuff, even though I eat it, tastes a little weird or “off”. Almost artificial or plastic-y. Still, it’s a pretty decent cheese when melted on stuff. I used it on vegan meatball subs.

I just cut a French bread loaf in half, and stuck some of this on there for 5-10 minutes, and voila! It’s pretty good. Not my favorite vegan cheese, but it works if you don’t have access to better stuff and need a fix.

I also wanna add that this does have coconut oil, which in my opinion is a “must” for good vegan cheese. So at least there’s that.

I really like the daisy products. It’s amazing and with a good flavour. I never ever tried this daisy Swiss before and I had a great experience! It’s a delicious cheese, however when you smelted it I thought just a little bit salty.

It was less expensive but clearly not as pungent or easily shaken out of the bottle as Kraft brand. It served its purpose for making a side and tasted good but for table use I would go with Kraft

My Step Son, has been buying this delicious cheese for years. His jars have always been wrapped individually. I ordered 10 jars for myself for my anniversary. They came in on time, however, the jars were not individually wrapped in bubble pack.

They were put into a box together unprotected from each other. Remarkable there were only two jars busted open. If you can imagine digging through all that broken glass cleaning each jar by hand. 150 dollar purchase Gee thanks.

I saw a video from Formaggio Kitchen in Cambridge (possibly the best cheese shop in the US) and they said the staff loves this cheese. They were not wrong! I have spread it on grilled bread with avocado and used it as a salad dressing including the oil.

It has a ton of flavor.

The product is amazing. The shipment left a little to be desired. Lid was not on tight enough on one of the jars, which resulted in an oily mess in the box.

CURRENT OBSESSION! I can buy this at my local grocery store- not having to spend a lot for the size. THIS IS DELICIOUS! I had to research the type of cheese but its a blend of parm and cheddar. VERY smooth and the coffee gives the perfect pinch of flavor.

I have tried this and it’s sister flavors (merlot and chardonnay) and love this the best.

I am extremely impressed with this cheese. Mama Francesca premium parmesan asiago and Romano. This was my first time ever using this brand. I used it in my alfredo sauce. We make alfredo sauce on a regular basis at home and I usually use either Kraft or great value because I feel those two are very interchangeable.

I was pretty surprised when I made my alfredo sauce last night with Mama Francesca, this had actual cheesiness to it. As if I had just grated a wedge. It was very delicious. I will definitely buy again.

This is not your fancy expensive Parmesan blend of cheese but it sure does taste like one. I actually bought this from Walmart which I have started only shopping at the past two years; that was due to some of their labor and associate relations policies; which have gotten better.

I believe Stop and shop has this too. This is a great go to product in cooking in so many different meal not just for topping on spaghetti. I use it to make Alfred sauce , chicken cutlets and broccoli Parmesan.

Not over bearing just plain good.

When I don’t have fresh parmesan, this brand is definitely my back up. The flavor is tangy and delicious and melts beautifully on pasta. I love to use it in my pasta sauces. It makes my alfredo sauce fantastic.

These truly exceeded my expectations. Cheese straws typically are a little too dry for me. These cheese straws melt in your mouth. The chipotle flavor had a little bit of heat but not too overpowering.

Love these cheese straws! If you don’t have the ability to make your own or have homemade, these are the next best thing. I love the flavor, the consistency, they pair great with wines and overall make a great snack.

They are simply delicious and will continue to be a staple in my grocery cart. If you have not given these a try, you are truly missing out.

Love these! Perfect size for caprese salad. Snacking. Pizza! I have tried other brands. But they seemed dry. Suggestion though: put more in the package!

These are tasty and delicious! A perfect afternoon snack, especially when paired with cherry tomatoes basil and avocado. Great value, they stay fresh for a long time, would definitely buy again. Fridge staple.

Contrary to the reviewer who stated that this cheese is made from Goats milk, the cheese container clearly states that it is made from COWS milk. The taste is more mild than full fat version and so far not tangy like I expected.

It is good none the less. I like that I am not eating the fat but am enjoying the cheese.

I love most cheeses and Feta is no exception. Unfortunately, I also have to be careful what cheeses I eat. Feta is one of the few that isn’t as unhealthy as some other cheeses. It goes great on salads, sprinkled over a chicken dish, or even in a grilled cheese.

Plus, it keeps well in the fridge.

My favorite feta! I love salads with spinach, seeds, and strawberries and of course feta is a must! It brings out the sweetness of the fruit and pumps of the flavor of the dressing. Easy store easy serve packaging is fantastic, keeps it fresh long after opening.

I received the Harry and David fruit and cheese assortment a week ago. The cheeses and apples were very good and we enjoyed them very much and that is why I felt it was fair to give a satisfactory rating.

The pears however have not ripened completely and are a bit woody in texture. I have cooked two because I cut them open thinking they were ripe, soft at the stem, but they were crunchy with little flavor.

I usually like products from Harry and David so it was a disappointment to have this happen.

I sent one of these packages to a friend and got one myself. I had more fun passing out those wonderful pears to my local friends, warning them to make sure they had a towel handy as they were incredibly juicy.

The two cheeses that came with this package were also outstanding as were the apples. Couldn’t ask for a better deal for the money. The speed of the shipping was also wonderful. Thank you.

Surprised to get this box of fruit from friends. The box came in great shape. The only negative was that at least two or more of the pears had dark brown spots on them. I was able to cut all the skin off and the pear still tasted great.

Just not a very good presentation. Apples look super just disappointed in the appearance of the pears.

This is some of my favorite goat cheese! Goes so well on crackers with maybe a glass of white wine. Perfect amount of sweetness. Hard not to eat the whole thing in one sitting. Much better price at Target than our local health food store.

So good, it’s so creamy, a hint of honey. I started putting this on my avocado toast and it’s sooo good. Love goat cheese with crackers or with fruit! Surprised at Target’s quality since this is my first time buying cheese from there.

I hope this comes back to my store in Lacey, Wa!! It’s delicious, I couldn’t believe it but I trusted the comments, especially since they don’t hold back when it comes to Good & Gather products. They were right and I’m bummed I only bought 1 pack, I can’t find another package for 40 miles.

This is by far my households favorite Parmesan cheese EVER. The first time we bought it, we literally ate the whole thing like a snack. Its nutty, it’s fruity, it’s savory, it’s got it all! It use to be sold at my local market, but the fools let this brand go.

Now I must travel outside my area for this cheese. Is it worth? By golly, you bet it is.

I’m giving it 2 stars because each time I’ve bought this cheese it’s mostly rind. I use the rinds in sauces but I’d rather have a little more cheese. I think I’ll go back to buying the imported stuff.

Love the taste and texture! And my French-Italian family loved it and they are extremely picky/critical when it comes to cheese. Definitely worth the extra time and effort to grate your own.

I bought this variety of cheese because I have heard people talk about the high quality of professionalism of cheese making that went into each individual bar made? I was totally lost for words because the taste of the cheese was absolutely incredible.

So the rumours and all the other gossip I have heard about Swiss Colony and their cheeses are true. I would recommend this item very highly.

I make a charcuterie plate/charcuterie board with this cheese. Sometimes I make a special grilled cheese with the cheese if I ever have any leftover, which is not very often.

Bought this for our son and daughter-in-law for Christmas. The cheese was delicious. Wish Swiss Colony had more just cheese gift sets. I would like to get them a larger gift set.

I love trying new foods. Sometimes, I wake up with a thought of combining tastes – and that’s where the fun begins. A dear friend had told me about Buffalo Milk Burrata, a month ago, and I’d been thinking about it ever since.

While at a nearby restaurant, I saw Burrata listed on their menu, so I took a chance, and asked if I could order Burrata instead of chicken, on pasta, with arugula and basil, with a bit of butter. They provided me that on penne – it was divine.

Four days later, I shopped around, still no Buffalo Burrata at Trader Joe’s – but I found this at Sprouts Market. I added Trader Joe’s organic arugula, and their organic basil, drizzled it with TJ’s wonderful Avocado Oil, then accompanied it with their Brioche Toasts (it read like a delicious sweetness to sweet or savory dishes.

) The crisp crunch, along with sparkling arugula, deep basil, and the mouthfeel and delicate taste of Avo Oil nailed it. The Burrata was brought to room temperature, first, then nestled, drizzled, and gently opened with a spoon.

If you have never tried this please do! Especially if your a cheese lover like me. This is so creamy sweet and delicious! I love to eat it on a bed of mixed greens with balsamic vinegar and olive oil.

I definitely recommend this it is really a delicious experience.

The BelGioioso Burrata is such a unique experience! There are two huge mozzarella balls in the container. When I cut into one of them I was shocked to see a soft, creamy center! So fun and unique. These taste amazing with a drizzle of balsamic.

Great value, good variety, solid cheeses. The slices are nice and thick, too. Would definitely buy again.

I really like the idea of a platter! Whenever I’m stuck eating just sandwiches for the week, it’s nice to change up the cheeses each time!
