This Vermont cheese is WONDERFUL! I normally buy Cracker Barrel (2 blocks) for my baked macaroni and cheese, but substituted one for Cabot’s Vermont Sharp Cheddar Cheese when I found it on sale at Kroger.

It’s become hard to find a supermarket grated Parmesan cheese without cellulose added. If you don’t want to eat cellulose fiber and you don’t want to grate your own Parmesan, this product is a reasonably-priced alternative.
The taste is good, the cheese works well for sprinkling on pasta and vegetables, and melts well in baked dishes.
This and the just-cheese Parmesan are great. My complaint- why I only gave 3 stars – is that they’ve been made an ‘in store only’ product even though they are shelf stable until opened. I had both shipped to my home regularly for a long time with no problems.

If you’re looking for CHEESE look elsewhere – this is cheese but missing most of the water content so it’s not the same at all really. Like cheese, the flavour will differ between brands so maybe it’s not a type you like, but you might like another? Cheddar is my favourite of the Moon Cheese brand, and I love it! It’s rich (no water really and it’s pretty dense!), light to carry, and adds a flavour you don’t often get when backpacking/touring/in the mountains.
You also don’t need to worry about it freezing and the packaging makes a good garbage bag later. I’ve made a lot of food compromises when in the mountains, but this is one I’m happy to make. I’ll even buy this as a snack sometimes!.
Ok. You “Pepper Jacked” me. I am now totally “Pepper Jacked. ” Addicted. I have hit rock bottom. As soon as my Moon Cheese arrives (I buy a variety of flavors), my go-to bag is “Get Peppered Jack. ” I tear open the bag in anticipation of that wonderful tangy flavor.

I Love Tillamook triple farmstyle thick Cheddar cheese. I use It to enhance my eggs, Pizza and grilled Cheese with soup. I really love the taste of this cheese. I was told that this company makes the best icecream which I did not know.
Honestly the best cheese ever. Great for food toppings such as tacos, burritos, quesadillas, enchiladas, even baked potato!!! Mmm. so good. Since the cheese are perfectly thick, I always sneak a small hand full as a sneak hehe.
