20 Best Cheesesteak Reading Terminal (2022 Updated)

This was tasty enough, I guess,, but: (1) I don’t see how Velveeta gets off likening it to a Philly Cheese Steak anything (let’s start with the CHEESE, shall we?); (2) I wished it included more Noodles than it does; and (3) while my Grandchildren LOVED it, I felt the need to “tweak” it a bit (specifically, I added decent amounts of roasted garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcester Sauce plus a squirt of Sriacha to my own portion) to make it more to my liking.

Since I wasn’t expecting anything “spectacular” to emerge from the box, I wasn’t disappointed. At the same time, I didn’t come close to being at all impressed either. “As is”, I give it a 3 (even with my “tweaks”, I can’t give it more than a 4).

As I noted above, it was tasty enough, it was convenient, and (in my personal opinion) it is fairly priced. I have absolutely NO intention of buying this — or any other variety of Velveeta Skillets — for personal consumption ever again (it’s just as easy — and probably more economical in the long run — to buy a whole package of Egg Noodles and prepare them to my personal liking), but since the kids liked it so much (what IS their Mother feeding them???!), I will, in likelihood, keep a box or 2 of this variety on hand for when they visit.

This is AWFUL. It is way too tomato-y. Even with the white cheese sauce all you taste is tomato. It is sweet, they added sugar to cut the tomato acid, but it tastes too sweet. If you don’t eat it within the first 3 minutes it turns to glue.

It is terrible. It went down the garbage disposal. Waste of money. Their chicken varieties are good but not the classic lasagna. It doesn’t taste anything like any lasagna I’ve ever eaten. AWFUL. 🤮.

It’s decent. The prep was easy. However it’s velveeta so the consistency of the alfredo sauce was definitely. velveeta. Lol not sure what else I was expecting. It’s good, sorta, but definitely not top quality alfredo.

I think next time I make it I’ll use like 1/3 of the sauce in the packet because it’s just so thick and gooey and makes it almost unenjoyable. It’s good if you’re in a pinch though but I honestly wouldn’t pick it over the other brands of box alfredo that I’ve bought before.

The meat seasoning that you mix in while cooking is delicious though!.

I have had a Kindle for years i upgraded whenever i could. I got my whole family hooked and even went to kindles for online use. My Mama loved hers until the day she died. I love to read and with kindle unlimited I have gotten to read and love a variety of books I never would have known.

The newest has come a long way from my first one. It is light great to read from and text can be enlarged which helps my eyes as i have grown up as well and need a little extra help. It turns great and in its cover really feels like a book.

I can’t imagine life without it. The benefit is I already have so many books because it is so hard for me to let them go and I have ran out of room. My kindle holds so many books i have gotten and with unlimited it is a fabulous adventure into many types of literature.

You want be disappointed with this purchase, worth every penny.

Cutting right to the chase: the adjustable color temperature screen is the greatest advance in Kindles since self-illuminating screens were introduced on the first Paperwhite… period, full-stop. And, at least for this reader, there’s no going back after trying it out.

It’s that good, and that much of a game changer. With both warmth and brightness (they have separate controls) turned up to about the midway point, reading on a Kindle transitioned for the first time from merely reading words, to the experience of reading words on a paper page in a book.

This might sound like “Who cares?” nonsense to most people, but if you’re in that small minority of the public buying a high-end Kindle, you understand what I mean, and it’s that kind of difference that you’re paying for.

The new lighting also transforms the experience of reading in a completely dark room. On existing Kindles, I could never find quite the right light level. If it was as bright as I wanted it to be, that felt too harsh on my eyes.

But bringing brightness down to a level that felt comfortable seemed too dim. Now, by simply increasing the lighting warmth on the new Oasis, you can have brighter light with no harshness in a dark room, making reading much easier on the eyes.

Finally, I’m happy to say that Amazon seems to have (finally!) nailed the quality control issues that have plagued new Kindle lighting systems in the past: No splotches. No dark spots. No shadows. No weird color casts.

Just smooth, even, beautiful lighting across the screen. So, is this the perfect Kindle for me? No. The perfect Kindle would be this new 7” screen in a Voyager form factor. The ergonomics of the Oasis are still not great for me, although my satisfaction with the new screen appears to make the annoyances matter less.

The 2019 Oasis is not only a keeper for me, but I’m actually trading in both my Voyager and original Oasis.

Love it. Many have complained about battery life but I actually don’t mind it. I do most of my browsing on my phone or computer and the device is specifically for reading. So far it’s lasted me about a week with heavy usage (like reading more than 10 chapters on high brightness and warmth).

I love the page turn buttons and the ability to disable the touchscreen so I can hold it better without touching to turn on accident. Was going to go for the paper white but glad I chose the Oasis. Hopefully Amazon upgrades it and I can trade in.

I love physical books but hate storing them because I never have space nor do I ever rarely re-read some books. This device is a game changer and makes more excited to read more books.

Decently made 9″ crimpers(perfect size imo) but did have some machining artifacts and gunk on them when I opened package. also didn’t want to open more than inch or two, but some oil and working them a bit helped that out.

Seem pretty solid, and in light use so far they’ve been ok. Not like expensive ones, but good enough for the junkier toolbox.

It appears to be a well-made tool. Practically identical to my Kleins, both in weight and size. I needed an extra set for my workbench and this was half the price of a new set of Kleins. Only time will tell, but I suspect theyll live on for quite a while.

Awesome, lost my last pair. Very durable. They are thinner than most which makes it better for crimping uninsulated and has a spot for insulated so you won’t rip through. The other grip might be nicer but these do a better job.

This device has changed my life. So simple to use at my markets and a great way to give payment options for my customers! It can be a little slow if you are in certain places where cell is not as accessible, but I think that is with everything.

I was so limited with the Reader that I think it’s worth spending the extra money on the terminal. Less headaches for sure and easy to set up before you go and make your first sales. It was easy to charge in the morning before my markets but def give it a few hours for a full charge (over night charging is better).

It is a bit bulky – so be super careful when storing it so you do not scratch it. I would prefer it came with a case or something to protect it. Otherwise, a good machine overall.

We’ve had two of these now, and both have performed perfectly. The form factor is good (a bit heavy, but understandable, given the battery, screen and receipt printer incorporated into the unit), but there’s a secret in the design–there’s a threaded receptacle built into the base of this unit, and that receptable is exactly the same size and thread as a standard camera mount! I don’t know even one viable option beyond this unit (other than phone-based stuff).

It has never failed to process a transaction (connected to the Internet through my phone’s hotspot).

This unit does everything it is supposed to do. Once connected, I was able to log in and transactions happened! I like the functionality of wireless connectivity, but only after I was able to connect to the wifi due to wifi connection security issues.

The options of Apple, Google, Tap, Android, swipe and insert card, it allows for everything. Yes, it’s costly, but to my need, is better than the plug into the USB port unit and the 1/4 plug connection.

Battery life is long too.

The slicer has feet to grip on the surface and is substantial but not heavy like the marble ones. It is easy to clean and has two additional spare wires. The instructions for cleaning the slicer and how to replace the wires are very helpful with diagrams.

It would also make an ideal gift as it comes in a nice presentation box. I have found that I can cut any thickness or thiness of cheese and so much safer than a knife. I am delighted with it and can’t fault it!.

The wire is not attached at both ends as shown on the package. Ends broke off with first attempt to slice cheese. Comes with 2 extra wires with ends that will break off as well.

Stainless steel blends with all our serving items, the slicer is easy to clean and will be in use weekly. Delivery was very fast! I would definitely recommend this product.

I must admit, I was not expecting much from the Raybern Philly cheesesteak sandwiches, largely due to past experiences with frozen meals, but I was immensely impressed with the explosive taste and appeal! For starters, the instructions were super simple, making this sandwich a definite go-to if you need a quick meal.

Simply microwave and go! Boom! And the sandwich is not overtly messy, which makes this sandwich ideal for individuals that don’t want to worry about having to clean up immediately after eating (always a bother to waste precious minutes when you only got a small window of break time before work, and you have waste time trying to find the restroom sink to clean up).

But that is just the outward appeal of the sandwich, for the true test of the Philly cheesesteak is indeed flavor, and this sandwich does not disappoint! This simple yet massively flavorful sandwich taste good from the first bite, to the very freaking last bite!!! There is no corners cut with this sandwich! I even opened it up just to check, and yes that meat stretched from sea to shining sea!! THAT’S WHAT I WANT TO SEE! YEAH BABY!! Once I started eating on that sandwich, all conversation stopped! It was too good to waste on words! Now on the downside, if I have to mention a downside, the sandwich does not look like the package.

Big surprise there! But the flavor is still there and in charge! And the sandwich is a little on the small side for me as a man, but I was hungry when I ate it and it was darn good! I would also suggest a little sprucing if you want more volume (like some peppers or BBQ sauce).

But then again, this is myle trying to nick pick and find some downsides to balance out the overwhelming awesomeness of this sandwich! Overall, if you looking for a snack, a fast lunch option, an office lunch bag stuffer, or just a change of pace, Raybern’s Philly cheesesteak sandwiches are the sandwich of champions!.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. I try to eat healthy, but I admit I have a weakness for a good Philly. So let’s be clear, these are comfort food and in NO WAY healthy, but they’re pretty small in size and definitely less calories than getting an actual philly which would be 2x larger from a restaurant.

I was skeptical that these would actually have soft bread like they advertise on the box – after all, anyone who’s ever microwaved any frozen entree with bread in it knows it basically turns into a brick as soon as it cools to room temperature.

While these fared slightly better and still stayed soft enough to eat, they did get hard and very chewy once they started to cool. The “steak” was strange as it looked like thinly sliced gyro meat, and from reading the ingredients, I guess they add dried vegetables to the meat patty before slicing so they don’t have to worry about adding actual peppers and onions.

The processed and reformed meat was a bit unnerving and considering these still cost over $2 for a tiny sandwich, I would expect real veggies separate from real, unprocessed steak. At least there was a decent amount of meat on each sandwich.

Overall, I won’t be buying these again.

Raybern’s Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches definitely checkmarks the boxes for me when I’m looking for that great, fresh-tasting quick meal. If this were a blind taste test, I would not have guessed that these came from a freezer.

Both the bun & meat inside cooked up evenly in the oven. The bun crisped up to my liking, resulting in that perfect hot crunch from the first bite until the last, along with the seasoned beef slices.

The cheese had a nice mild tang which complemented all components and did not overpower. I do have 2 minimal critiques: (#1) The sandwich could’ve definitely benefited from being served w/ a sauce; individual sauce packets w/ each individually wrapped sandwich (perhaps an Au Jus).

(#2) The amount of meat that is on the actual sandwich is approximately 75% less than the advertisement on the front of the package. It wasn’t a total dealbreaker, mainly thanks to the all of the fresh tasting components.

Would buy again.

Read through, you’ll get to the Termapen review. But I feel like I need to talk about this company I guess I now have a relationship with ThermoWorks. This relationship started with a ThermoPop, at the time I didn’t want to make an investment in the Thermapen.

The ThermoPop completely changed the way I cooked. I left it accidentally at a friends house that lives some distance away. I quickly realized I could not live without my ThermoPop and told my pal to keep that one and ordered another one express delivery, and it arrived in short order.

COVID happened soon after. When I felt the need to monitor body temps of my family and visitors to our home, I knew to turn to ThermoWorks and purchased The Wand body thermometer which is stupid fast, accurate and trusted in our family.

For Christmas, my wife gave me the Thermapen Mk4. I am absolutely in love with the auto light and auto rotate feature. I hosed down my grill and completely forgot my trusty Mk4 was still sitting right by it.

It took a good hosing, and works fine. I love that the Mk4 gives temps in real time. There is no waiting here folks, the temp will change on it constantly because it is constantly reading the correct temperature.

I now can not live without my Mk4. There is something to be said for a company that specializes in something and the excellence in ThermoWorks products shows it. Customer service is outstanding at ThermoWorks and you can rest assured that any order will be expertly packed and arrive soonest.

I also enjoy the catalogs and cooking tips included. There are cheaper options out there, but there are no better ones.

I tested a couple of other Instant Read Thermometers before the MK4 due to the fact that it was more expensive than the others. I should have just purchased this product in the first place. The others just took too long to read with my hand and arm over a hot grill or inside my Pit Barrel Cooker.

I’m new to the cooking and smoking scene so this is a vital tool for a great finished product. I use it now for everything, indoors and out. The backlit, rotating display has been big for smoking and cooking at night as the days get shorter in New England.

ThermoWorks also does a great job posting videos on YouTube and their Website to instruct users how to use it which was helpful because i’m a firm believer of reading the manual, no matter how simple we believe something to be.

This tech and design is just better than others. Spend the extra money on a Thermapen Mk4. You’ll save yourself the time of buying, trying, and returning others while being more precise during your cooks.

I use mine for my Pit Barrel when cooking everything from Brisket to wings. I don’t review products often, but this is worth writing a review for. I hope it helps those who are waffling, or are caught in the buy, try, return cycle.

Perfect for small batch cheese makes. Each packet makes up to 2 gallons of milk per packet and takes out the guess work. Once your milk is at temperature, simply sprinkle the packet contents on to the milk, then wait 5 minutes before stirring to allow the cultures to rehydrate.

Stir 3-5 minutes, cover and wait 45-60 minutes. For the new cheesemaker, this takes out any guess work. Each batch I’ve made using these has turned out great.

There are 5 packets per $6. 95 order. Each packet holds 1000mg of powder. Since this is good for 2 gals of milk, I compared it to 7. 3g packet of MA11 which is good for 250gals of milk. This means that this C101 packet contains 58.

4mg of lactis and cremoris cultures and 941. 6mg of lactose (a type of sugar, in this case acting is a filler for volume so that powder can be seen and poured). C101 packet costs $1. 39 (58. 4mg) of culture compared to $0.

088 of the same amount of culture from MA11. While it may make sense to buy MA11, you will have to deal with dividing the culture into packets, which may reduce the lifespan of the culture as it soaks up moisture in the air and warms up.

However if you can do it in a dry atmosphere and with cold conditions, a lactose 1lb bag only costs $10 from amazon, so you could mix your own packets if you dare. I used a 10mg resolution scale to measure 1000mg packet powder, and used the MA11 net weight designation on the packet as the other indicator.

Really cheesy without being overpowering. Super delicious, a little salty, the cheese is not gooey; sort of like dry cheddar should be. Calories/pack are not bad considering the carbs. It’s hard to have only one pack though; combined with fruit …delicious!.

I bought a box of Austin Cheddar Cheese crackers this morning at HEB. They are terrible, they don’t taste like anything. No flavor at all. the packaging says new look, but there is no new flavor. Maybe someone should work on the flavor before working on the packaging.

What I really like about Austin Cheese Crackers with Cheddar Cheese, 1. 38 oz, 27 count is of course not only the taste, but also the mere convenience of them. Can be a snack taken anywhere- to eat as you go.

No better way to check a system! Connects to Measure Quick on your phone and paired with the Fieldpiece wireless psychrometers it will basically diagnose the system for you. Wireless connectivity has been great so far.

I do mostly residential HVAC so there have been several times these gauges have been hooked to the condenser on the side of the house and I have been on the 2nd floor on the other side with no connection problems.

Measure quick connects well and readings are in real time if not just a second or 2 off. I have never owned a better piece of equipment , it is my most favorite tool in the van!And as for ordering – couldn t have ordered from a better place.

This tool is outstanding in almost everything that it does. Supreheat and subcooling, etc. , are displayed in real time. They thought of everything. It will update for the new refrigerants as they come out.

Only one caveat: The connectivity with my iPhone 6s Plus, while functional and useful, is spotty, and disappointing. This seems to be true of all of these tools, as I have quite a few. If they get the wireless working solidly, these will be perfect.

When you are craving something quick and salty, Lance’s ToastChee Cheddar crackers are the perfect solution. In my location, sometimes they are a little difficult to find. I pick them up when I see them so that they are handy.

Love these little squares of crackery goodness! It’s got the right amount of spice to switch things up when I want a change from the peanut butter ones. I like these in the afternoon at work to give me a boost till I get home for dinner.

Excellent product but not worth the price. These are snacks that you go through fast and the cost is way too high. I would be apt to get them on a fairly regular basis probably even in a pantry order if they weren’t so expensive.

There are so many other snacks available out there that cost a lot less so a person would be apt to order them on a regular basis before ordering these on a regular basis. I hope they reconsider the pricing in the future.

This product is very flavorful, tender and just overall an awesome snack. It is pretty affordable, but could be a bit cheaper or come with more in a pack. To get more bang for your buck. Sometimes you can get pieces that have a bit of a weird texture.

Otherwise I would definitely recommend it as a snack!.

Love beef sticks. They have the perfect meat taste. Pros they taste delicious. Only con is they can get stuck in my teeth lol. Not really needs to be improved. They are great nothing disappointing about them.

I was looking for something that would allow me to do what I can do with this measuring tape but a little bit smaller. I wish it came in a 12 or even a 16 but 25 makes it too bulky for what I needed it for.

Other than that, it does what it says it will do. A lot easier to read than comparable products on the market. The smaller size would have earned this tape 5 stars!!.

Purchased this meat thermometer to replace our old one we had for 19 years and it is working great. I highly recommend this model. It has markings that indicate how deep into the meat you place it to get an accurate read, the dial is easy to read, and the thermometer cover has all the proper temperatures for any particular cut of meat or poultry.

You cannot leave this type of thermometer in your meat while it is cooking, and the instructions wisely remind you NOT to submerge the temperature dial under water ( that is how our old thermometer met its demise).

I gave this thermometer only 3 stars but still wanted to recommend it for both its merit and fault. Merit: it Is good for what it is meant for, quick in telling temperature of a big chunk of meat, by “big” I mean that it has to be almost 3″ either in longth or width.

Fault: it is almost useless for anything else, because you are supposed to insert the whole almost 3″ long grey area on the probe into the object that you want to take temperature for, anything that is smaller therefore does not allow inserting the whole length will not do.

I took pains to find out these things because I have little confidence in digital thermometers and really wanted this thermometer to work. I put it into boiling water to test its accuracy the first thing after receiving it.

But it reached 180f and refused to go to 210f, which is the right temperature. Then I read the manual and realized that it was accurately reading the average temperature of boiling water and the cooler air on top of the water.

I would recommend this product to those who need an analogue thermometer only for big chunk of meat. I had to retuned it, for I usually cook smaller portions.

First Thermometer arrived with the glass cracked – BB&B quickly replaced, but does concern me that the glass used may not be the most robust. Thermometer seems to work fine, but I am disappointed with the following: 1.

outer rubber ring is difficult to turn. Maybe this will loosen over time, but for now it’s not really usable as I’m afraid I might break the thermometer with the force needed to turn it. 2. I don’t know why the indicator needle is so short on the temperature end.

The long end points down to the fine print with generic settings such as “beef”, “poultry”. But the words are so small they are very hard to read while cooking. The opposite stub end of the needle is used to point to the temperature, but it’s so short extrapolation to the temperature is ambiguous.

Not sure what this end isn’t longer to reach the numbers. Overall I wouldn’t purchase this model again. It’s more expensive than other options, and not as well designed.

I play acoustic guitar. I have had this pedal for a couple decades I think. It is a must for ballads, Margaritaville songs, solos, Little Wing and everything in between. Usually the settings are all 12:00 It is subtle but still there.

Hard to explain but if you play acoustic guitar and only have ONE pedal this is it. You can just leave it on with the effect at about 11:00 it thickens your sound nice (Second to add to acoustic guitar is the Boss CP-1x compressor.

But that’s for another review).

Boss makes excellent pedals at fair prices. They have very clean effects in their chorus, delay, and reverb pedals, and moderate “dirt” in the overdrive pedals. I use to have an assortment of brands on my pedalboard, but currently all 7 pedals I am using are made by Boss.

I even have two Boss Katana amps that I run in the stereo expanse mode and they sound excellent.

BE CAREFUL what you order. zI realize ordering online from anywhere is like spinning the wheel and waiting to see what it lands on. Let’s face it. The only way to guarantee you know what you’re getting is to buy it off the shelf yourself and take it home.

But what happened today to me is utterly ridiculous. It all started with a simple grocery delivery placed online. One item was Chester’s Puffcorn Cheese one bag, which costs maybe $3 in the store. Walmart had it listed as a multipack for $11.

99, so of course I thought it would be several bags, but the description was very vague. Still I had a craving for this particular item, so I added it to my delivery order. Then when I received confirmation email, this item was listed as shipped only.

That just had to mean it was several bags in a big box then. But it showed the receipt date of shipment as March 30th. Wow that’s a long time to wait for a snack, even Chester’s. Then I get email today on March 12 stating my package was delivered, but it wasn’t at my door, so I called Walmart.

They said USPS delivered to my door and offered to reorder or refund. Finally I found out USPS left it in the complex office and I had to drive over and pick it up when I have health issues and didn’t want to get out.

This box is a little taller and little longer than my Smartphone and weighs light as a feather. I opened it and found ONE 4. 25 OZ BAG FOLDED into this box. In grocery store when they’re bagging your items, you don’t want your crunchy stuff smushed, so you REALLY don’t want it shipped like that.

WHO DOES THAT? Oh, I almost forgot. This cost me $13. 38!!! So, as much as I wanted my Chester’s, I am getting a refund for this ridiculousness just for the principle of it. And Walmart definitely needs to do something with the outside seller, they used for this purchase, which was MDS, Inc.

Btw, I love Chester’s but this delivery was so senseless I had to share this. See pictures.

I think this new way of online shopping stinks. Today,Dec 9. i odered 11 items. I have to go all the way across town to walmart store to pick up 2 bags of popcorn. THEN i have to go back dec 11 to pick up 5 more items.

THEN i have to go back dec. 14 to pick up the last 2 items. SO YOU TELL ME HOW THIS IS EASIER FOR A 82 YEAR OLD WOMEN TO DO ONLINE SHOPPING WITH YOUR STORE. I AND MANY OF MY OLDER FRIENDS ARE GOING TO SHOP SOMEWHERE.

I love these, ever since I tried them on a whim. The cheddar are the best of the three flavors. But, not this last bag. It had about ⅓ (one-third) the usual amount of cheese powder. NOT ONE was completely covered, with most being bare white, and extremely bland, like corn-flavored styrofoam, without the usual amount of cheese powder.

I hope this was just a rare occurrence, and not the new normal, or their sales will certainly cliff dive.

I love these crunchy crackers, and only 20 calories a piece. These are great alone and simply wonderful with goat cheese. If you like these you may also enjoy Jan’s Farmhouse crispy crackers.

Looking for these crackers everywhere since I moved to Wisconsin from New York. Only problem with them is that they’re addictive.

These crackers are uniquely perfect – tough enough that spreading a soft cheese doesn’t cause them to crumble yet easy to bite through. Lovely flavor and perfect compliment to cheeses.

Como he ido comentando en la página de FB he probado hasta hoy hacer el yogurt normal y el yogurt griego y el resultado ha sido 10! Ahora me falta probar los quesos y el tofu.

Pero hay dos cositas que quería mencionar y que he notado, una es la señal cuando un programa acaba que a no ser que una esté al lado de la máquina no se hoye y luego el hecho que es difícil limpiar la cuba ya que no se puede sacar por lo tanto hay que hacerlo con un paño y esto no resulta tan higiénico.

Pero a parte de estos dos puntos la máquina es de recomendar. De todas maneras cuando haya probado hacer queso y Tofu tengo la intención de publicarlo en la página de FB.
