12 Best Chef Knife Bag (2022 Updated)

I do not have a large collection of quality knifes therefore this roll bag accomplished my requirements. I am not a professional chef and have no need to transport my knifes, I just wanted a product to safely store my knifes.

This product is more like a small attache case with two wrap around zippers, rather than a typical roll bag, and I like that. This is about as professional I will ever get.

Simple 5 knife bag for transporting limited knives for temporary use. (i. e. bringing your expensive carving set to a relatives for Thanksgiving. ) I just received this case today. It is definitely NOT worth $15.

99. This is a small inexpensive canvas bag worth less than $10. 00. I think there are better bags out there for the price I paid.

As a Chef who travels with a small amount of my trusty knives, they are safely enclosed in this sturdy case. I won’t lose them nor can they become damaged or fall out on my foot. The cast is not big and cumbersome but just the right size.

There are several inches between knife tips and end of bag. Though it is not necessary, I also encased the blades in plastic sheathes. Reasonable price for the perfect bag.

The shoulder strap is great, and my knives stay secure in the pouches, and with the 3 different compartments I can carry everything I need when extra knives and added material is needed, and the knife bag looks GREAT also.

This chefs bag has tons of space for all of my knives and tools! The shoulder strap makes it super comfortable to carry. I am the envy of the kitchen with this awesome bag.

Knife bag is awesome, plenty of space for everything. Mine arrived without the 2 knife guards that were supposed to be included.

LOADS of space and the knife case is a great addition. The backpack style allows for even weight distribution when extra “gadgets” need to be hauled around. This it by far the best case that I have purchased in quite a while.

The knife bag that comes with this backpack if pretty great, only downfall is how the knives can slide around since the slots are little loose. There is a ton of room in this bag and has many compartments for everything! Laptop and all can fit, along with a change of clothes if you want.

You can keep all your writing utensils and things in the smaller poaches too.

I have been using this backpack for culinary school. The knife kit case slides right into the back compartment, and hold just about everything I need. The back is padded, giving added support and the padded shoulder straps very durable.

I have loaded it up with my laptop (a separate compartment), my clipboard, culinary texts, and notebook, apron, side towels, and plenty of storage for all of my electronic media and writing instruments.

The only complaint I have is that I didn’t find this sooner. I have recommended this product to several people within the industry.

The 5 star rating is for VALUE. This thing is BIG lots of room for big knives lots of room for small ones. That being said, I’d advise purchasing blade covers for your bigger implements, as they sit close together.

Also the pockets are large, they just fit a dexter/choice/update style handle, so when narrower handles are inserted, there isn’t a snug fit. All in all, for the money it’s a sturdy functional spacious knife roll definite buy.

The price is Great! But I still feel weird about the blades moving around so much. It’s really just not a pretty as the photos posted. But I do suppose edge protectors could remedy the problem. The pockets all feel too large to comfortably keep hold of a paring knife or a small utility handle.

I had to put them together in the same pocket. The whole case honestly feel a too large when opening on either a dinner table to a kitchen counter. 4 stars because it will still hold a great number of tools, the awesome price, and that the bouncing knife edge problem can be solved with edge protectors.

Excellent value for the money. Holds a lot of tools! You can actually fit several smaller tools per pocket in some cases. My knives each have a sheath so having them move around hasn’t been a problem.

The adjustable straps to close it are great as I keep putting scoops and other bulky items in mine. Very happy with the purchase.

I was very surprised with the quality of materials with this given the $14 price tag. The zipper is robust and the bag itself is thick and protective. I hold a very large nikiri, 8″chef, petty, steel, sharpies, and headphones with ease.

Includes a a clear plastic pocket business card sized on the outter to put your contact info or a Poloroid. Note that there is no fabric sheet that lays over the knives like in a knife roll so you really want edge protectors on your knives.

This is a good case to carry when doing a small job and only need a few pieces. I would add 2 more elastic slots on the other end. Not only would it increase the capacity, the 2 additional items would help balance the case when being carried.

A pocket on the outside with a zipper or Velcro flap would make it perfect.

It COULD have been a nice gift if it was made more practically for a chef. For example, there are no pockets for a chefs tools (thermometer, etc). And I got this gift for my husband who’s a professional chef so when he mentioned the nice leather but lack of practicality, I contacted the shop for a refund of an item (that had not been touched) only to be told that because it was out of the 30 day range that no refund could be issued – I was hugely disappointed.

Not only can it not be used by my husband, but now I’m out of over a $100 because of a date range. Again, not practical. A better criteria would be 30 days/ unused. And another issue, there was no flexibility at all to change the color of the stitching which made me question if these are really custom and hand made.

Very disappointed with this shop and experience.

I now own three of these and love them. They were super well packaged, arrived in a timely fashion. Lots of pockets, well made and very attractive. This sturdy knife case with Rigid liners is very well constructed. It holds the knives in place during transport. The sturdy sides keep the knives from tossing or banging inside the case thus reduces the chances of damage.

I love ❤ this knife set. I purchased it when I was in culinary school. I think it was over $300. It’s very sharp and get the job done. I highly recommend!!

Hi All; I have alot of Spyderco knives, and to me, there is no other way to store them if you also want to show them ! This is such a great and convenient product, especially since I do not have to look through hundreds of boxes, which can be very frustrating! Know what I mean? In the Spyder Pacs, there are clear pockets which allows you to view the knives while keeping them from contacting each other, thus avoiding scratches, while also keeping the dust out.

I also have the small Spyderpacs which hold less, but I like them for the models that I only have a few of each, and I also like them for my medium to small folders. The Spyderpacs have their name Spyderco along with the Spyder logo reg TM embroidered in a gold colored thread on the front panel of thick black sturdy nylon denier which is a nice and meaningful way to show that you take great care to protect your collection, and if I may say your investment, seeing they can be quite costly! I have enjoyed them, and with all the handling that they have experienced, they do not show any appreciable wear at all! I hope that settles any quality questions which you may have, but would expect anything less from this company? If you are a “Spiderco Fanatic,” like yours truly, your simply going to love them! Awesome build quality. Nice and roomy, space for 30+ knives. Love it.

I would rate it 5 stars but the compartments are too short for any folder over 5 inches. Other than that, It is an excellent storage and carry case. Made very well and with good material.

It hold plenty of knives but the slots are to small for many of mine.

This knife bag exceeds my expectations, more pockets than I thought and the room in each one is more than enough
