20 Best Chef Shoes 2022 (2022 Updated)

I bought these shoes to take on vacation in Washington DC, as I wanted some comfortable shoes to wear during my sightseeing. Also, the brand was recommended by several healthcare workers as a comfortable shoe for extended walking and standing.

Approximately two hours into my sightseeing around the city, my feet began to hurt. I toured the city for an entire day with achey feet. The shoes did not provide the comfort or support unfortunately.

The next sightseeing day I was going to give them another try, but I decided instead to wear something else. I will try them again, but I will remove the insoles to see if that makes a difference.

The overall product is good. My issues is that it recommends to size down if you are a 1/2 size. My traditional crocs fit perfectly while these were. a weird fit. When putting my foot in, the part that goes over the top of the foot is very tight (I cant wear any type of socks with these shoes, and even without socks it’s very tight on the skin).

I’m concerned with rashing, or blisters due to the rubber nature of the material. I’m hoping that with wear they will stretch a bit. They are also very shallow. With the insoles they provide, which are very comfortable, the heel of the shoe sits very low on my own heel (it is uncomfortable and with the height of the shoe I’m nervous of rolling my ankle).

Show in the pictures you can see the difference of insole and no insole and how tight it looks on the top and how low it sits on the ankle/heel. If I pull the insoles out it fixes both of these issues but then it’s obviously not as comfortable and the sole of the shoe is hard.

I’m going to try and find thinner insoles and hope to salvage these. The shoe fits length wise etc. but I’m wondering if I would have been better off sizing up than sizing down. I am traditionally a 71/2.

I usually get 7’s in all of my other croc shoes and I got a 7 in these clogs.

I really like the feel of the soles they’re VERY comfortable. Unfortunately they do not fit like they are supposed to with normal shoes. I am normally a size 8 US women’s. I bought them according to my normal size.

When they arrived I tried them on with socks and my feet keep slipping out of the heels. Even after trying to put double heel anti-slip pads at the back they were still doing that! I’m thinking it must have something to do with the fact that the padding of the shoes goes up REALLY high so it’s easy for your foot to slip out.

This is such a shame because I bought these for my clinical courses in nursing school. I’m going to try and give them a go anyways, but I can already tell I’ll be really annoyed with my heel constantly sleeping out of the back of the shoe.

I don’t know how safe they would be if they keep doing that during my clinical rotations. So sad, much comfort, too much slip.

I bought two pairs. The first one in my second house in an island, I used them for 20 days and I’m totally satisfied! The second one caused me an embarrassment! I used them just for 1 day after came back from my holidays and the pair suddenly begun to shrink both in length and wide.

It was an 11 M size and after just two days it shrinked in less than 9 size and it is no more capable to use because it became too small in width. I’m disappointed! I use Clogs for many years and the same thing has happened with several pairs in the past, but after a use of long periods.

This time this happened just in between two days, the pair is now useless!.

I bought this shoe hoping it would be a comfortable work shoe specially with the inserts. That was not the case with these shoes. I feet immediately started hurting. The width and size were correct. These even hurt my feet when I was sitting at my desk.

I took out the inserts hoping this would help. Not really. Without the inserts they are just too big and my feet slip around in them. I ended up returning them.

My husband wears these types of shoes at his medical practice because it can be easily wiped down if it gets dirty/germy but he’s always worn a different brand that’s over $100. These are as good if not better than the expensive pair quality-wise but they are a tad heavier in his opinion.

Because they’re made in the US, I’m certain they’ll hold up well and proud to support US companies.

I bought these Klogs because I need to wear comfortable and supportive shoes around my house due to severe pronation and plantar fascitis. No flip floppy slippers for me! These have moderate arch support and a good amount of cushioning.

They make my feet a bit warm, but I do not mind because I am always cold. After wearing them a bit they start to mold to your foot. I am very happy with my purchase.

I am almost flat-footed, have very wide feet with large bunions & I have bad knees. I am on my feet all day at work – stairs, ladders, uneven surfaces, need safety toe, etc. I am 6ft, weigh 280 and am really hard on shoes.

When I buy shoes, I get size 14-4E, but they are still not comfortable or wide enough sometimes and I began to wonder “Will I ever find a shoe that helps me!?”. I researched for a long time and discovered Ortho Feet.

I am a mechanic on my feet for 10 to 12 hours a day for 22 years now. Have been suffering from plantar flashia for years now. These boots have relieved my terrible pain. With the arch support and optional inserts supplied i was able to build a custom fit boot for me to my liking and comfort.

Hands down the most comfortable anything I have put on my feet from date of purchase. I noticed the benefits immediately. No break in required as other companies suggest. I have had many high end boots and shoes throughout the years and these boots by far are the best.

Also I can’t believe the value. For how much shoes cost now days and I have a full grain leather boot for less then some tennis shoes sell for that don’t last or hold up to abuse. Extremely happy with how comfortable these boots are and will definitely buy again and again now that have discovered them.

I have been wearing these shoes at work, 8 to 12 hours a day, for the past 8 months. Let me tell you, they were absolutely wonderful for the first 5-ish months. After month 6, I HAD to find insoles due to the inner lining of the shoe losing all of the shape.

We’re officially on the market for new work shoes all together. The leg, knee, hip, and feet fatigue is too much to handle. For the price they were ($74. 99) I was hoping they could keep up with long days.

They are very water resistant and slip resistant, so that’s a perk. I love that they’re slip on style because I’m always on the go. Overall, they’re good short term shoes. Not at all for the long haul.

I bought this shoe because my old shoes were raggedy and falling apart. I am very picky about shoes because I am a Type-I Diabetic, and also drive a manual transmission vehicle. For me, the shoe has to be solid enough to avoid any injuries to my feet, but also breathable enough to ensure proper moisture wicking.

It also needs to be narrow and flexible enough to press a clutch pedal in a smaller vehicle. This shoe, while a little bit expensive, checks all of those boxes. It is comfortable to wear and is very light, with good tread.

It drains water well, so well in fact that they dried about as fast as boating shoes after being submerged in river water while kayaking and seem no worse for wear.

I work in a kitchen, on my feet 8+ hours a day, you know what I mean. These are great. The non-slip is the same pattern that Shoes For Crews uses, and it’s fantastic non-slip. The padding on the inside is good, but if you had high arches you’d need more support.

I wear a 9, but an 8. 5 fit very comfortably… maybe even better. My feet hurt significantly less after a shift now, but make sure you stretch during your day.

I think I will buy two pairs of these; this one for winter use with heavy wool socks and a half size smaller for summer with lightweight socks. More affordable than similar or same brand in the mall stores by about 40%.

I have not been able to get correct size shoes from a store in years because they no longer carry small sizes, but I found them at Boscov’s. I will buy again.

Bought these shoes because they claim they have memory foam. They felt comfortable in the store, but after working a few 8 hour shifts, my back and feet are killing me. Even after using insoles, these shoes are still horrible.

Now one of my heels feels bruised all the time because of them. Don’t waste your money, buy literally anything else.

My husbandf has worn this type of shoe in black for everyday use for the last several years. His usual brand choice wasn’t available any longer, so I took a chance on these. He says the fit and comfort and support are equal to or superior to his previous pairs.

He has worn them for several days and is very happy with them.

I must say, it looks pretty cool, I like it, came on time, and looks very well made, I have been using it intensively for a week now, hopefully it will last long. Very happy with my order.

They are light and comfortable to work in all day. I highly recommend these shoes.

I have worn Sanita clogs for 15 years and have consistently worn a 39. I originally ordered the Bordeaux riot in my usual size and the clogs were WAY TOO SMALL! The clogs were short, and the instep was very shallow.

I could get my foot in the clog, but the instep was tight. To be noted: I have a narrow foot and low instep, so anyone who has a medium width foot and “normal” instep probably wouldn’t even be able to get their foot in the shoe.

I returned the 39s, and reordered the clog in a 40 and it fits great. The shoe itself is very pretty… shiny but not overly shiny. Looks good with a variety of clothes. Just remember to SIZE UP!.

The leather is great. No problem there at all. The wood is cheap loose pine, and after just a few wearings the sole split, and also the staples pull out and now the holes are loose, so they come out easier the next time.

Going to have to try to rehab them (have about 6 pairs) with straps and leather glued around the posterior sole. And, if you get the soles wet. they fall apart. This is in stark contrast to the Sven wooden/leather clogs I wore up in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in the 1980’s.

Wore those for 20 years, and they still look/function great.

I have been looking for a new set of clogs and found these. I was a bit skeptical that they wouldn’t be as described, but they are even better. I absolutely love them. They are made of a great quality leather.

The only reason for not giving five stars is they were extremely tight across the top and I had to purchase shoe stretchers so that I could even try to brake them in. Other than being tight across the arch they are the best fitting shoe I have had in a very long time.

Having worn Crocs since they were first manufactured, this makes my 7th and 8th pairs. While I haven’t worn them for years, my lined Crocs that I wear as houseslippers are beyond comfortable as I remember Crocs being.

I have narrow feet and high arches and am on my feet most of the day, and Crocs are comfortable if I’m not out in my Salmon hiking shoes. The Coastal (Mossy Oak Coastal) clogs I also ordered were great and I have them on now and walked in them last night for half an hour on wet sidewalks last night—completely comfortable, rugged and soft as I remember–durable, too! Put on the Bistro Pro LiteRides today and couldn’t believe it.

I wore them down the hall and immediately took them off. They are super hard, there is no arch support, and no cushioning whatsoever. They feel uncomfortable and rigid, whereas the other Crocs I’ve worn feel fabulous.

Too bad. Will be returning. I’m used to super support with my Salomons and Crocs, and will be wearing my Crocs for restoraitive shoes mostly, and obviously the Coastal is great for walking outside, too.

I can walk with ease. Comfy and very non slip highly reccomend. Kind of foamy base meaing i can walk for hours with ijt pain great shoes

Very comfortable for working long hours especially when your constantly on your feet and on the move 24/7

They have very little grip I slip around more in these than my old shoes that where 3 years old and worn every day at work

I’m sorry but these are the worst shoes I have ever worn. The insoles are so hard and just killed my feet to wear at work. I would send them back but I did not save the box ans paperwork because they fit well when I tried them on.

I believed the reviews I read about the comfort. I expected more from a company that caters to the medical industry.

New style for me, being a true clog, that is suitable for gardening. I wore them right out of the box around town to try them out. Very comfortable as I expected from Easy Street brand. Glad it is not some sort of memory foam, which makes me feel unstable.

The back strap is nicely adjustable to wear as pictured or it will move to the top of the shoe making them “slides”. Nice options! I think they should show that in the pictures because I was not certain about that.

I got Blk/BrightMulti color which is cute and matches most everything. I have Sloggers shoes and boots also, love those, but was very happy to find these too. Another thing I like is that the sole is not deeply lugged as mud and such gets into those deep grooves making a mess when you come inside.

This sole provides good traction but will not be so hard to clean. Living in PNW climate with wet grass much of the time, I will really enjoy these shoes. The only negative I’ve noticed is a definite odor, kind of like rubber, which could be annoying; but I’m keeping them anyway, hoping over time that will go away, and I’ll be using them outdoors mostly.

It’s not the kind of shoe I wear around inside, except shopping and things like that.

Love this shoe for long days on my feet at work. Medium width was perfect even though I always get wide. Generous toe room. The only disappointment was the picture was the cute flower pattern and that’s what I thought I was getting but instead I received solid black.

Was really looking forward to the happy flower pattern getting me through my shift.

I love these clogs – extremely comfortable, perfect fit, good arch support, water proof, nice color, removable insert, absorbs impact when walking. I wear them to walk my dog in wet weather. I’ve had them for 4 months.

Because I like these so much I just bought a pair of the “Kris” shoes that I can wear to work while commuting on metro.

Western Chief is a brand I recently discovered while looking for rain boots. Mom saw my boots & told me she wanted something like that but in a clog that she could slip on to take the dog out. I bought the Bees Garden clogs for her.

I know she’s going to love them. I do wish I could find more styles & also in more stores. Having free shipping is a great plus when needing to buy online. I’ll be buying more Western Chief soon! (Some styles run big, others true to size.

Super cute and comfortable. The stay on feet. I thought dirt might enter through heel, but no. Foot remains snug. The sole is comfortable and thick bottom treads. So happy with them!

I love these boots. The fit is great. The extra padding around the top is comfortable. The height of the boot is great. My only complaint is the way they are laced. The “hooks” are the second row down and the holes on the top row.

It should be the opposite. It makes it hard to lace up. I’m sorry. That’s the only way I can explain it.

Wide feet and steel toes required? These are the most comfortable boots I have ever owned. I have paid twice as much for extra wide boots that were nowhere near as good fitting as these. I am on my feet 9 hours a day, and finally found some good, comfortable boots.

They seem like they will last a good while too.

Just a little narrow in the toe area even though it is a 6E. To be fair, all of the wide shoes I have tried are a problem because I think I have an unusual bone structure in my right foot. However, these are really nice boots for the price.

The leather and the soles look like high quality materials you would get in much higher priced boots.

Good shoes, but unfortunately rubs one of my big toes raw so I cant wear them and as there is nothing actually wrong with them I cant send them back. Ive started wearing their trainer style ones instead which are more comfortable with a slightly wider and softer toe, and are cheaper.

Whatever you buy, wear them at home for a few hours to make sure they suit you I didnt.

They are smart and non slip so my son, who is constantly running about, looks smart and stays safe. The fit is good but make sure you CHECK the size chart before buying as they tend to display US sizes not UK sizes.

So if you are a size 10 buy a 10. 5 etc.
