20 Best Chef Shoes Review (2022 Updated)

These are the best shoes for everyday wear and for all day walking on various terrains. I wore them all over Europe and never had any trouble with my feet.

I buy the men’s sizes because I have wide feet. These fit me better than Dasko which tend to to cut into the top of my feet as I have high arches.

Bought this for work as I am on my feet nearly 10hrs of the day, not including home care for the babes. I have ridiculously flat feet and I have tried many different shoes and tons of moo-lah to properly support me.

After one week, my lower extremities don’t ache at the end of the day, my posture is better and the molding has not warped. I’ve gotten lots of complements from other associates in the field. Sucky part is they don’t come in half sizes.

It took me a while to get use to looking at them, because at first I felt like I was wearing clown shoes with the big bulbous toes and I wish there was a heel strap when I need to be in a hurry. They run a bit big.

Width is true and maybe a little wider.

Would have been good except had not tried on before ordering due to social distancing. Size 41 in this style did not equate closely to Size 41 in my other closed in shoes The London. So have returned this latest pair & will await new stock in size 40.

I will need them for ability to wash them thoroughly after work in Emergency Department in hospital. Tried Bogs but inadequate footbed support for long days at work. Just need confirmation that $$s are back in my account.

Just like all shoes you gotta break them in, but my feet feel so so much better after my 12 hour shifts then before. I have had chronic plantar fasciitis for over a year now and am in physical therapy and have tried the works.

The first day I put these on (with my custom inserts) I was just amazed that my heel didn’t hurt one bit all day! If I would have known this to be the fix I would have bought them months ago. Definitely unattractive but worth every penny.

Love that they r easy to clean too. Everyone I know that has them say they last forever!.

Love these, washed dishes in them for months. They clean off insanely easy. You can step through minor puddles/spills and not get wet socks. I would recommend these to anyone working in the food industry.

My boss bought them directly through shoes for crews.

The clog is comfy on first fit. However the sole does have a cheap feel. The comfurt you get kinda fails as its not really cushioned on the feet just a soft rubber which takes getting used to. If working long hours maybe another clog would suit.

Also the non slip grip is a magnet for dirt. Like gunc from unknown locations will somehow appear in the gaps. These shoes need constant cleaning on the sole. Luckily these come packed with a scrapping cleaner.

Kind of annoying having to keep de messing the soles daily. But on the whole for the price it does what it says it does. A nice cheap lightweight set of clogs.

I have had several bad falls wearing crocs as they are lethal on wet. algae surfaces. There is no metric to test clog slipperiness but I went ahead and bought them. They are slightly heavier but they do not slip and that is the main thing for me.

Most manufacturers do not show the sole which makes comparison difficult. Not sure how they will wear but the plastic is denser which is a good thing. There is a device to test tread depth but it will probably get lost These clogs are under sold.

my third pair of statesman shoes already. tried different shoes, also other shoes for crews models, but this model is really by far the best in quality and comfort. maybe a bit mor expensive then other models, but for me they last for at least one year.

I put a lot of miles on these, they look great. Everytime within a month or two they start to lose a seam or something but every pair of these 45 have eventually let water into the shoe.

Having extremely arthritis/gout on both enlarged big toe joints with a wide foot, these CROCS accommodate this without placing pressure on the enlarged toe joint bones. They also provide great support to the overall foot.

I have tried extra wide New Balance sneakers. These are amply wide enough, however, my feet are loose and these sneakers do not provide the same support as these CROCS. These CROCS take first place by a country mile.

I am a professional cleaner and these CROCS are my now only work shoe. They are also my daily and weekend wearer, and I distinguish my work and play pair with a Jitbitz. Another benefit is they can be used with any work involving water, including washing your car.

You can simply hose them off, or take them in the shower for a more proper scrub. It’s a win win. Luckily I have two extra pairs of these CROCS in storage as they always appear to be sold out. Highly recommended as your only shoe to people with gout, Arthritis, a raised big toe foot joint, and people with EXTRA wide feet.

You will not find better.

Great shoe for hospital work! My line of work frequently results in various liquids on the floor and spillage. These closed-toe shoes are very easy to clean–douse them with soap, hydrogen peroxide, alcohol, etc.

They are coated so they don’t absorb the liquid. There is light cushioning so your feet/legs don’t get tired. The strap can be behind the heel or across the arch–whatever you prefer. the toe-box is firm, but not super rigid (like Dansko’s).

I’ve not tested them to see how “strong” the toe box is, but I don’t think that’s necessary. I used to wear Dansko’s, but these have been my go-to work shoe for about a decade now. fwiw, my friend who is in the restaurant business also wears these–for very similar reasons that I’ve stated.

My Orange Mario Batali bistro crocs are my favorite sturdy pair of all Crocs I’ve owned and I’ve owned more than 30 pairs in a variety of styles. These are so great for walks and hikes, vacations with cobblestones and stairs, rainy weather.

I am sad they are discontinued and I can’t find other solid colors in my size any more. I would have bought several pairs if I knew I couldn’t get more later. Please consider making this Orange model again perhaps in other colors, too.

I get many compliments on them and other crocs wearers especially notice. I own the tie-dye bistros and would buy again though they are also not available in my size now. No bistros in my size, alas.

I am a female with wide size 8 12 feet and struggle to find safety shoe that are comfortable. I purchased these in a size 9, in the hope that they would be wide. I can honestly say I have never worn such a comfortable pair of safety shoes.

I have arthritis in my big toe and it is lovely to not be in pain whilst on my feet. The shoes are also really light weight, not the usual heavy and clumpy. The floor of the kitchen I work in is always realy slippy when wet but these shoes grip really well.

I would most definitely recommend.

comfiest bar shoes I’ve ever owned. It did take a couple day to break in but not the actual foot bed, that was comfy from the get go. The tongue was stiff and needed wearing in but that’s expected. I wore these on a 17 hr new years bar shift.

Absolutely no foot pain. The anti liquid membrane or whatever is great. I have spilt water straight onto the shoes and socks remained bone dry. Highly recommend, will be a returning customer when needs must affordable, comfy, water proof, quick delivery, great anti slip can’t ask for anything else.

Started a school catering job and shoes I had were slippery and uncomfortable so after a couple of days on the job I decided to purchase these, and they are awesome, not very fashionable I must say, but super comfy and non slip, perfect if your on your feet for any length of time.

I am a normal size 8 usually buy a Clarks 8 and these fitted perfectly, plenty of room in toe area and width. They are synthetic material but are tidy and well made. Hopefully they will last a while, would definitely purchase another pair when time comes.

So comfy and probably the best fitting shoes Ive ever had. The nonslip is good but not perfect, I still sometimes slip but not in a way that would make me fall or Injure myself. The mesh on the top and sides helps in those really hot kitchens, feet stay cool in them.

It’s my second buy. First one I bought it was too small. I have a UK 10 size or 44EU and this time I was luky I can wear them, still they are kind of small and not really conforting, I didn’t try them in full like 10 hr, but with my restaurant closed because of the lock down I can’t yet.

Last time I ordered they sent me a 42 EU size, but on the box and the shoes it says 44EU.

I bought these because I’ve been spending a lot of time standing on concrete floors in a food establishment and my feet would hurt, along with my legs and lower back. I work from home right now and transition between sitting/standing at my desk on a carpeted floor.

These shoes are great for both! The structure engages the midfoot so that your weight is evenly distributed. I’ve stood for several hours on both types of floors and my feet, legs and back don’t hurt.

These are good shoes! I will agree with other reviewers who have said that they’re a little loose. I purposely bought my true size (6W) and could have easily gone with the regular width. When I add a bulkier pair of socks, these are perfect!.

I purchased these for an easy-on/off, comfortable option to wear after my hip replacement. I didn’t want orthopedic-looking shoes and these seemed like they could pass for black tennis shoes with the jeans covering the top half.

Unfortunately, I have a difficult size to find – 11 wide. I was excited to get these, but had to return them because they fit too snugly and had no arch support.

I’ve had these shoes for a couple of weeks now and it feels like I am still breaking them because I have sore feet after a serving shift. However, I find the shoes themselves very comfortable. I’ve had many non-slip work shoes and I believe memory foam is the way to go.

I like the look and the quality of these shoes. The breathable material, good sole, and the fact that they are slip on is awesome! I bought a half size down from my typical size 9 and I am wearing a thicker sock as well but as soon as the memory foam is formed with my foot I believe they will last me a long time.

Good at keeping water out and not over the top for professional looking shoes but not as comfy as they look. Nothing an insole can’t fix. Runs pretty true to size.

I use these for work as a waiter. I’ve only had them a month, but they are comfy, fashionable, and I really can tell a difference with the slip-resistant soles when the kitchen floor is wet. Definitely better than my old shoes and would recommend.

Hopefully they will hold up for a while.

Brought these for back to work shoes. I’m on my feet pretty much all day, so I thought I’d invest. They an okay work shoe, they definitely aren’t the comfiest shoe as my feet we’re killing me after a shift.

They’re definitely slip resistant as I had to walk through an oil spill. But they’re hard to clean. either way their okay for the price.

I actually use them as slippers at home, I love how they feel. Worked with them for a bit too, good for shotr shifts. If your shifts arent too long I would recommend these, however if youre standing for long long hours Id advice birckenstocks.

What cushioning there is compacts down to a rock within a week. Upper is described as mesh but lacks the give, stretch, and breathability one would expect from a mesh upper, very painful when feet swell! Sole is flexible as advertised, but expected a much more comfortable shoe than this actually turned out to be.

Heel upper rubs badly on the back on my ankle as well. If it was truly designed more like the old flex walkers with plenty of cushioning, back of the heel sock-like cushion, flexible stretchy uppers, and a less pinching width it would be a win.

As it stands, it merely has the look of those, but not the feel.

As pretty as there are they run very large. This is my second 43 and these just run way bigger and the toe box is very wide. I needed a wide toe box but this one was too big. My foot on the sides were hurting eventhough i had on thick socks and foot jellies the shoe still bothers me.

Shoe is very comfortable, but the sizing is very different even if you use the size chart. I originally bought the equivalent to a size 12, had to return it for a size equivalent to about a 10-10. 5.

If you order, actually measure your foot with a tape measure and go by the size chart for that not what you would normally wear in other shoes. Other than that, I am very happy with the product.

I love Sanita clogs and I have always gravitated towards black, but these are so bright and fun, EVERYONE compliments them. They are so comfortable, great arch support, my feet never hurt at the end of the day.

Love that Zulily has them cheaper than other retailers.

As I anxiously waited for this shoe to arrive, I was instantly disappointed. The instep was so tight that I could barely insert my foot. Unless you have the flattest foot ever, RUN RUN and don’t even try this shoe.

Exactly what I was hoping for. I needed a rubber shoe handy to the back door for house training a puppy that was easy to slide on and off and protect my feet from wet grass or snow. These fit great. have cushion and are actually very comfortable.

We raise ducks. For slogging through muck, these are ideal. Please note that size is already slightly larger than my normal shoe size, so no need to compensate by ordering a larger size. I just ordered my normal shoe size.

They fit comfortably over socks or bare feet. Love the cushion feel.

Wanted a shoe for warmer weather instead of a boot. Oil/slip resistance & inside foam for comfort

They appear to be exactly what I need, but we shall see when they arrive. Hard to rate something before you’ve actually tried it on.

I’ve had Sanitas for years. This finish cracked the first time I wore them. Now, over the past weeks are peeling and look terrible. The comfort is as expected from Sanita- but this pink patent leather has terrible wear.

I will never buy another pair with this finish.

FINALLY found what my Severe Flat Feet No Arch Feet needed. This shoe is WONDERFUL since wearing them I have absolutely no problems with my feet anymore feels like I’m walking on a Cloud. I work 12 hr shifts 4 days out of the week and me being heavy on my feet was not helping any UNTIL I purchased these shoes.

I bought these at the end of June and immediately started wearing them once I received them as I am on my feet all day at my restaurant. I have cronic pain issues and these shoes have been easing my foot and hip/lower back pain when I’m on my feet for hours at a time.

I do wish they were slightly more slip resistant but not to horrible. I also enjoy that even though they are a solid nonbreathable material they don’t cause my feet to sweat or my body to overheat.

I accidentally wrote a review on another page for the wrong clogs. I am coming back to review these that I actually bought. I have painful arthritis in both of my feet, especially bad in my right foot.

I would say that on a scale of 1-10 (with 10 being the worst), my pain level was at about an 8. With these clogs, my pain level is ZERO. Zero. Yes, I really mean that. I even came back and bought a second pair so I would have them if something happened to the first ones.

This is nothing short of a miracle to me. I thought I was bound to be crippled for the rest of my life. I have since bought sandals and sneakers from the Healthy Feet Store, and they are all fantastic! Thank you, thank you!.

Sturdy and waterproof. I wouldn’t wear them all day because the fit is a bit clunky. Maybe with some foam insoles it would be okay. They are great for slipping on for a short walk out in the snow or to do some gardening.

It is so hard to find Velcro shoes in a size 6. And apparently shoe makers think if you need this you have a wide foot! I have a special needs adult child that just got a job and needed nonslip shoes.

I took a chance on the wide since there is nothing else on the market! Seriously!? These shoes were just right. They were not too wide and not too narrow. He is very happy with them.

So far so good. Have only worn them once since I got them but it was for an “on my feet” day. I needed a good solid shoe that’s easy to pull on and off (velcro!) and that wouldn’t cripple me on the first day.

Like I said, so far so good!.

Great shoes for our Down syndrome son who has trouble tying. He uses them at his work and the first pair lasted over a year. This is our second pair. Ordering and picking up was extremely easy too!
