20 Best Chick-Fil-A Salad Dressing (2022 Updated)

I don’t know where to start. Wishbone to me has always provided quality dressings across the board. I like many of the varieties but the creamy caesar was one of my and my families favorites. We usually buy several at a time, because we’re always running out.

This time I only bought one because at the time, money was a little tight and we needed other groceries, but we couldn’t survive without at least one bottle of our favorite dressing. I got home, quickly went to work chopping the romaine, adding the croutons and a little extra grating cheese as I always do.

I took one bite and immediately looked at the bottle to see if I had bought the wrong type of dressing or the wrong brand: “Wishbone Creamy Caesar” just like I always buy. I then checked the expiration date and no problem there.

It was then that I happened to notice the “NEW RECIPE!” flag on the bottle. “!” indeed!!! I finished the salad because I was too hungry at this point and figured that maybe I should give it a fair shake.

That maybe it was just a first bad impression and that maybe I would get used to it. No such luck. I then poured some into a spoon so I could inspect and taste it by itself. Upon inspection I found it had that translucent and shiny quality that is usually relegated to the worst tasting diet or low (or no) fat dressings.

Not creamy at all!! I then proceeded to try a couple of spoonfulls and the acidy or extreme vinegar taste began to actually give me a little heartburn. Does caesar dressing even supposed to have vinegar in it? It really didn’t taste like caesar at all.

Athough there was some grating cheese taste to it, it tasted more like the worst version of a diet italian dressing. I’m not sure what the reasoning was behind changing the recipe. Because the old recipe was one of the best on the market with few exceptions but definately the best for the price, especially when on sale.

If it was a financial issue of the cost of maintaining such a high quality product, (without speaking for the obvious multitude of other loyal customers that gave it a bad review), I personally would not mind paying a few extra cents to keep the original recipe on the supermarket shelves.

Just for the record, this was the first time in my life that I have ever submitted a product review like this. It might be that I have a little more time on my hands than I usually might, but I felt this situation definately warranted it.

Thank you, and please bring the old recipe back.

I am absolutely traumatized and heartbroken after buying multiple bottles of creamy Caesar dressing. I am absolutely begging you to do 1 of 3 things. Let me purchase any back stock of the former recipe you have , Provide the recipe so I can once again live happily, or have your “team ” actually give us straight forward feedback on if this really being considered as a change to it’s former recipe.

I’m advocating for all of the fans in these comments. We’re sad. Please hear us out , first we couldn’t buy toilet paper and now our favorite salad dressing decided to flip the coin also. For the love of all things good and pure.

Change it back.

Been on the hunt for a dressing similar to the caesar that comes in fresh express salad kits. Thought I’d give wishbone a try. I’ve never regretted a decision more. You’d come out cheaper just buying a bottle of vinegar… cause that’s all this is.

I’m writing this review immediately after taking a few bites of my salad and salad ending up with a burning throat, because I feel like I just knocked back a bottle of the finest vinegar. Not sure who is producing this, but you may want to find a more suitable position for them.

Would I recommend this to a friend? I wouldn’t be a friend if I did.

I must be one of the few people who think that Chick-Fil-A is overrated. Their sauce is nothing to rave about and I’m not exactly sure why everyone talks about it as if it’s the only good tasting sauce on the entire planet.

Well, guess what? It’s not. McDonald’s sauce is way better and less homophobic. Heck, Wendy’s has some great sauce too! Why not try those restaurants? They’re cheaper and have better tasting sauces and food.

You won’t have to sit in line for hours. And you might feel better knowing that you’re not supporting a homophobic company who funds programs to hurt members of the LGBTQ.

The first time I had a taste of this sauce, I made sure I always ask for extra piece. The flavor is simply delicious as dip to chicken, meat or fish. When, we moved to another state, Chick-fil-a is quite far from where we live.

I was surprise that Amazon carries the Polynesian sauce and my cravings for this sauce has been met. Just 2 weeks ago, I saw Walmart has Chick-fil-a Polynesian sauce at the grocery area and it’s price is cheap.

Taste just like it…. I read some reviews on here that said it didn’t taste anything like it which made me hesitant to buy it. But honestly I wouldn’t pay attention to that it taste exactly like the sauce at Chick-fil-A.

Definitely recommend buying it if your like me who buy’s large quantities from Chick-fil-A. This is definitely a cheaper way to go and it taste exactly the same.

This was my first time trying this dressing. I like poppy seed dressing but they are all high fat,sodium and sugar laden! I am diabetic so I thought Id try it. The texture is watery,the dressing looks a bit grayish in tint, and the taste is disappointing.

Its not flavorful like a ranch or parmesan dressing. I cannot describe the actual taste, but it is sort of chemical, you dont taste poppyseed flavor. They create a grit texture,nothing more. Im not impressed nor mad about the expense as its $1.

98. Maybe I got a bottle thats been there a while. All I can say is try it and see, worst case. dump it. I saw Ken’s dressing had a lemon poppyseed dressing if its still made. That was good, but had all the stuff I have to avoid as listed above.

Bought this because I was looking for something with low calories and low sugar in it. It actually tastes pretty good and has a good consistency to it, unlike similar brands. Didn’t taste any kind of an aftertaste either, which you often get with these sugar free products.

I’ll probably try some of their other flavors after this. Almost $2. 00 for only 8oz, so it’s kind of on the expensive side. But most are. The price you pay for trying to eat healthy. The only thing I don’t like is that it comes in a glass bottle.

I like to take it to work with me, so I’ll have to be extra careful not to drop it. Very much worth the extra cost.

I have been searching for a salad dressing that was delicious yet not filled with sugar. and I found it! I’m normally not a vinaigrette fan but I thought I would give this a try. The flavor is just right: there wasn’t a “fake” raspberry taste and the vinegar didn’t overpower the whole thing.

It was also a nice surprise to see the bottle is glass instead of plastic. Other than the raspberry seeds, the dressing itself was light and flavored your entire salad. The lack of added sugar makes me happy because I don’t feel guilty using a dressing in my salads.

I plan on keeping this on my grocery list at all times!.

I cannot believe how good this dressing is. I’m usually the type to like creamy dressings such as ranch or blue cheese but this dressing has become my favorite after all these years. Another thing, I usually pile my salads up with a bunch of ingredients, now all I really want is the dressing with just a few items.

This is bad. in a good way. Who came up with this recipe???.

So worth the price. Tried a different brand. Don’t bother. Ken’s is my go to for Greek dressing. Super tasty. Wish they had larger size.

Best salad dressing. Very tasteful. Pairs well with any green salad. Not oily tasting.

I bought this awhile back and hoped for “western” and “tangy”. Nope. It is colored corn syrup with zero taste. It has no place in your refrigerator other than to take up space and having no use in the kitchen.

Unless you have some sort of sweet and not sour need, it is horrible. Wishbone should be ashamed of this product and pull it from production until somebody can fix the formula. Fixing the formula would involve adding some savory western and some western tang.

It is western in name only. At this point you can’t dip an onion ring in it without wondering why it tastes like Karo Corn Syrup. Don’t order it regardless of the attractive bottle. Run! And, trying to leave this site, I was asked if I received an incentive for this review and I did not.

My wife and I have been using Western dressing foe several years. After purchasing a new bottle at the local grocery store we found that the product was very runny and did not have the same flavor. Obviously either the ingredients or production methods have changes – not for the good.

I love Western dressing. It’s been my favorite since I was a kid. Last week I bought a new bottle because I’m running low. The consistency was like water, not thick texture that is one of the trademarks of this dressing, and I was too scared to taste it.

Irritated but figuring it was a one-off thing, I bought another bottle this week. SAME THING! Disturbed I read the most recent reviews on this site and see that I’m not the only person experiencing this.

Where was the quality control on this product? Wishbone, if you knowingly changed the recipe, please disclose such. If not, do the right thing and pull the product until your quality control is up to standard.

I will not be buying this for the foreseeable future; I’m utterly disgusted and disappointed.

My favorite dressing outside of a restaurant or homemade. All other widely produced Italian dressings (including others from Ken’s) are inferior!! I should know, raised by Italians!! 🙂 Sometimes it’s in stock (in some parts of the country it’s pretty easy to find) though in other parts of the country it’s not as common in the grocery chains.

Me and my husband like this salad dressing a lot. It’s full of flavor and really not super oily in my opinion. I do usually purchase this when it’s on sale other it’s priced almost $4 plus.

I don’t know if it’s the cheese or what but it’s such a smooth taste: no harshness at all. Delicious not only on salads but with other veggies, on sandwiches, chicken, etc.

This is my favorite dressing. It is light yet flavorful and extends itself to so many dishes. Obviously great on salads. But, I have found it as a delicious dip for strawberries, along with a little fresh cracked black pepper! Believe it or not, this is delicious drizzled lightly over sorbet! Great for dipping bread.

I hate mayo, and used to use Italian dressing on my sandwiches. But this has even replaced that act. So good!.

I use this in place of making my own Caesar dressing now. I just add the anchovies as whole fillets. It enhances any salad. It is an EXCELLENT marinade for meat and fish. want a quick and easy shrimp scampi type dinner to impress company? Marinade large raw peeled, tail on shrimp for an hour or so.

Put some good olive oil in a heavy pan with minced garlic. Quick sear the shrimp and remove. Add more Girard’s and some dry white wine. Add sliced crimini mushrooms or the Giorgio Sliced Mushrooms available here.

Grate some Parmesan or other hard dry cheese. Pour over linguine and enjoy. You will love this dressing!.

It’s a cool bottle. I mean seriously. If you check out with this and that cute cashier is there, they will have no choice but to assume you know what you’re doing. You’re not some lame-o that buys generic blue cheese.

You’re the sophisticated person that buys *champagne* dressing. Buy this for the sake of your future relationship my friend. You won’t regret it.

I had ordered this dressing online about 2 1/2 years ago because the Sam’s Warehouse in Glendora didn’t carry it anymore. It taste the same and didn’t spoil by the time they were used. I reordered it again about a year or so ago and was sadly disappointed.

The recipe had changed and it came no where near their original recipe and it wasn’t spoiled. I really dislike companies changing good tasting items just to cut corners or what not. Sad to say that I won’t be purchasing it again since there’s so much and really dislike the newer taste.

Will have to settle on a different one.

This is my favorite Ranch dressing I have been using it regularly for many years. I use it daily as part of my Keto diet for my salads and my family are ranch dippers for all sorts of foods and vegetable.

It has always been a great price, it recently went up but is still fairly priced. I have have had trouble finding it in stock at my local stores, but I found it online for delivery. Mild flavor ranch, smooth texture and great overall taste.

The reviews for this dressing are all from business owners and that’s fine. Here’s a review from a regular person. My family and I put Ranch dressing on everything and our favorite is the Great Value Classic Ranch Dressing (#1 Consumers Reports), but I get tired of buying ranch all the time, so decided to try this.

Big mistake!! It is very thin in consistency and very, very sweet. It has a very fake appearance and taste and I would not recommend this to anyone who loves ranch dressing. I’ll stick to my tried and true Great Value Ranch.

I was given a bottle of Heinz Vegan Salad Cream as a substitute for more commonplace variety. Unfortunately, due to Crohn’s Disease, I’ve had some distressing reactions to Vegan copycat products. It’s been 15 minutes since I ate my first blob, the customary length of time for my gut to react to a product it cannot tolerate, and no ill effects so far.

I admit I didn’t think I’d like it but I really, truly did. There’s a strange aftertaste in my mouth but nothing to write home about. Hope this is of use to fellow Bowel Disease sufferers.

Heinz have 3 versions of their salad cream. Oddly the lowest fat version (70% less) is the one with the least carbs. This is because they thicken with xanthum and guar gum and replace some sugar with sweeteners.

It’s almost impossible to get though. It’s never available and only this one, which isn’t as low in carbs, or the full fat one with the highest carbs is ever available. Nobody seems to really buy this one.

You’d think they’d get rid and keep the two popular ones.

I’ve never been invited by Asda to do a review of anything before, so I’m rather amused that it’s Heinz Salad Cream. This stuff is both the bomb AND the diggedy. No cupboard is complete without this stuff.

It’s not just for salad. It’s for sandwiches, it’s for cold pizza first thing in the morning, it’s for everything. Salad cream is love. Salad cream is life. And, there’s none that quite compares to Heinz.

It’s pretty hard to find ‘creamy’ style dressings that are dairy-free – there seem to be only a small handful of companies making these. This Chosen food Caesar dressing had a little zing to it. Very close to a traditional Caesar dressing flavour and fits the bill for vegans or anyone with lactose intolerance or dairy allergy.

Very flavourful. Only complaint I have across the board is that many of these dressings are sold in bottles with large openings so it can be hard to control the amount you’re pouring out. Other than that, love it.

Happy for the glass recyclable bottle as well. Would definitely buy again.

I am always leery when buying a new dressing, as I have had my fair share of bad luck with it! It’s always hit or miss. I just ate my Second bowl of salad because this dressing is so delicious. Light champagne? I wasn’t sure what I was getting myself into, but it seemed interesting at the store.

I decided to go for it, and I think I just found my new favorite dressing. I guarantee it would be an excellent marinade, too, as it kinda reminds me of Italian. It’s so flavorful! Can’t wait to pack it for my lunches.

AND it says “I’m local” on the tag at the store, so it’s always a plus to support a local business. The bottle is classy too. Five stars all day!.

like to use this for marinating vegetables. drizzle over cooked grain alternatives, quinoa, wild rice. excellent on salmon or your favorite fish. for more than just salads.

I wanted to give this a good review, as other have, because it’s organic. But, I must have different taste, along with my husband, because we both thought it was horrible. It is very, VERY strong! Almost felt like the sides of my mouth on the outside was burning.

I better look, maybe it peeled off the skin. LOL *-* I know everyone likes different things, but, sorry, I won’t EVER be buying this again. I will give it two stars because it’s organic, but I just can’t get by the strong taste,,,It’s going in the garbage can, waste of my money this time.

I tried this dressing at my moms house and I loved it so much I had to go and buy me some. I’m very picky with dressings and this is now one of my favorite salad dressings. It taste super yummy! I like that it only contains one carb per serving and that it’s organic and gluten-free.
