20 Best Children’S Sleep Aid (2022 Updated)

I received the mommy Bliss kids sleep gummies with melatonin for 3-year-olds and up for my honest review. I have to say the first night I got them I tried them out myself and they were good. They had a delicious flavor, just like candy.

I took 3 of them right before bed laid and checked some emails on my phone and about 20 to 30min later they really hadn’t done anything so I took two more and they seem to relax me. I didn’t so much feel sleepy but I felt relaxed to where, not even knowing I just closed my eyes and off too sleep I went.

Usually I have to go on my phone or listen to music so I’m not paying there for hours thinking about all I have to do tomorrow. Usually playing light music helps. After taking these I was laying there thinking ok if they don’t do nothing I’m going to play some music and before I knew it, it was morning.

I usually don’t get up during the night so I slept like a baby lol. I woke up and felt like I normally do so they didn’t give me a groggy feeling that other sleeping aids I’ve tried did. All in all I’d say if they worked for me an adult they should work for your little ones at the recommended dose.

I haven’t tried them yet because I’m waiting for one of those restless nights. It doesn’t happen often but once in a while my kids will have trouble falling asleep and I think one or two of these would come in handy.

I do recommend these because they relax you to the point you just doze off to sleep. They don’t knock you out or make you feel really sleepy with heavy eyes. I like them and if they seem to do the same for my kids as they did for me I’ll be buying again.

The Mommys Bliss Kids Elderberry Gummies are a hit with all of my kids! My picky-eater four year old daughter loves them, as well as all three of my teenage boys! I may or may not have snuck a few too – too tasty to turn down! I appreciate that these vitamins not only taste fantastic but are made of healthy ingredients.

Plus, they do not have any artificial flavors or colors! Why add unhealthy ingredients to a product meant to make you healthy?! These vitamins do not taste overly sweet, so I wasn’t sure if my daughter would like them, but she loves them! Other gummies we have bought have been a bit tough to chew, especially after they have been opened a few days.

These gummies are very soft to chew and stay soft! We plan to keep these vitamins in stock to stay protected against the many sicknesses floating around right now! It gives me great piece of mind to be able to do what I can to protect my children, and these vitamins are great a great tool for building your children’s immune systems.

I would highly recommend them to any parents and happily give them a five star rating.

I’ve made and purchased elderberry syrup for my family and especially young daughter before. It had mixed results, with some not liking the taste. One syrup had so much added sugar, I just didn’t feel comfortable giving it.

These gummies are like the best of both worlds! My daughter happily gobbled them up and even remembers to ask for them. I like that they have minimal added sugar and other yucky stuff. I have tried them myself and they taste like a delicious orange citrus fruit snack.

They are shaped like a little cluster of berries, but my daughter calls them grapes 🙂 I love that they have the benefits of elderberry. And also are packed with Vitamin C for a healthy immune system.

It is sometimes so hard to make sure little ones are getting enough vitamins and not wanting to compromise giving tons of sugary juices or supplements, these easy gummies are perfect. I’m loving how much she enjoys them so it’s easy to give them and mess free unlike mixing or pouring syrups to get the same benefits.

I’d gladly buy them again to keep our family immune systems in top shape this cold and flu season.

Easy to use. Tasty. My four year old will even request for one! This does calm him at night where he is able to “de-stimulate”, from a busy no nap day, and sleeps 10-12 hours! Wonderful combo remedy!

I am 66 years old, have some major medical conditions, and take several prescription medications. I wanted something natural and gentle, and my doctor approved this. I was taking straight melatonin. It worked at first, but it seemed I built up a tolerance over time.

This product is working so far with no side effects. I do need to take 2 tablets. One tablet didn’t do much, so I take 1 about an hour before bed, then another half an hour later. I like that I have the option of taking 1 more if necessary.

I like that these are chewable. They don’t taste bad, and it’s much easier than swallowing pills. For those with allergies, the label verifies that there is no wheat, gluten, GMO, soy, dairy, egg, corn, fish, shellfish, nuts, tree nuts, yeast, barley, or added sugar.

I would recommend this, seems like a person has nothing to lose by doing so since it’s very safe.

My daughter has ADHD. She has always struggled to fall asleep and stay asleep. When she was a toddler I would often fall asleep myself trying to get her to bed only to wake up 4 hours later, and she would still be awake.

Her first paediatrician recommended Luna Kids to me when she was about 6 years old and the very first night I gave it to her she fell asleep early on the couch within an hour. When Luna kids was taken off Amazon Canada I thought that I was unable to get it so we briefly tried prescription medication for sleep when she was a bit older and formally diagnosed with ADHD and also taking a stimulant to help with focus, and there were bad side effects so she had to stop taking it.

Then her paediatrician recommended she take 6mg of melatonin for school nights, but warned me not to give it to her on weekends so that her brain would still produce it’s own; not only did that statement bother me, but while the melatonin certainly helped with her quality of sleep it was not as effective as Luna Kids and did not make her noticeably tired.

I was thrilled when I found out recently l that I can still order Luna Kids online, even though it is in USD. My daughter loves the flavour and how relaxed she feels taking it an hour before bed. I have taken the Luna Kids for myself and love it so much I ordered the regular version.

I let everyone know about it including my daughters new paediatrician, it is life-changing!.

Pros: Combining Calcium with Vitamin K2 makes the product outstanding and superior to the majority of other products in the market! Cons: The flavor is too intense which makes the gummies unattractive to most kids (none of my kids enjoy the flavor).

Also, excessive amounts of crystalized sugar on the gummies. This significantly reduces its appeal to parents who try to minimize daily sugar intake in kids. The sugar amounts per gummy can be reduced by 50% without affecting taste.

It would be great if it was made USP grade.

This product is nothing short of Amazing! My 3yr old falls asleep within 30 minutes tops. Out 5 children my youngest son is full of energy everyday. He out plays all his siblings, nephews, and cousins everyday.

Since we’re in COVID I don’t take him out to play like I use to because he has tendency to put everything in his mouth. So the energy level is Through the roof everyday! These gummies work fast! I’ve tried them and they taste like a strawberry gummy.

Very satisfied with these kids melatonin gummies. They have a good strawberry flavor to them. I normally don’t take melatonin but for this review, I tried them and I like them. The texture of these gummies isn’t really soft but they’re not hard either.

They’re chewy and about the size of a small gumdrop. These are 1 mg and is what I usually purchase for my kids. I do wish that this particular brand would put the amount of melatonin (mg) on the front of the label instead of having to search for it elsewhere on the label.

These gummies help my kids fall asleep and stay asleep without feeling groggy the next morning. The bottle is childproof and is a product that I’d purchase again.

Our daughter was drug and alcohol exposed throughout her birth mother’s pregnancy, and sleep became an issue early on in toddlerhood. She dropped naps quickly, and then had a hard time settling down for bed.

We tried EVERYTHING. And I mean everything. The things that calm other kids down, stimulate her. We really didn’t want to get her started on melatonin, but when she wasn’t napping and her bedtime routine started taking 2-3 hours each night, we finally gave in with her pediatrician’s approval.

It worked wonders! She’s usually out within 30 minutes, but sometimes sooner, and occasionally up to an hour later. Once she’s on it a while. It kicks her own internal clock into gear and we can go a few weeks without it.

We just play it by ear from night to night. The only con we’ve found is she can be a little extra cranky the following day sometimes. But she’s worse if she doesn’t get enough sleep, so we put up with it.

Once we notice it, we usually take the next couple nights off. It’s not for everyone though! Her “Irish twin” brother gets night terrors from it, so it really seems to depend on the kid.

It was empty! I bought this bottle in-store. I unpacked it from the box and threw it in my first aid kit to travel overseas with. I had never tried it with my kids, but saw the rave reviews and wanted something in case my kids would have a bad case of jet lag.

Here we are half way across the world, it’s 3am, my 4 year old is wide awake and I thought let me grab the bottle for him to take, and hopefully fall asleep. To my ultimate frustration I opened what was a sealed bottle to a cotton ball and desiccant pack.

My fault for not opening the bottle when I threw it in and thought, how weird the pills aren’t making a sound… but I’ve never opened an empty pill bottle! So I didn’t ever expect the chance that it could be empty.

I’m not even sure what to do upon our return to the US. if it’ll be passed the return date since we are out of the country for 2 months. I love zarbees products, but with this particular product I’m left incredibly disappointed, and feeling bamboozled.

When the pandemic first started and my son was home, he started having problems falling asleep. He just wasn’t getting as much activity during the day from school and recess that he was used to. We started using melatonin to help with that as we needed to maintain his schedule to keep as much normalcy as possible.

In addition, he has ASD and ADHD which make it hard for him to slow down his thoughts at night to be able to fall asleep. We tried a few different brands/dosages before finding this one! Liquid supplements are a strict no-go for him, so this gummy has been fantastic.

It is small, round, and a red berry-ish color. He likes the taste/texture the best out of any we’ve tried and we find just one is enough to do the trick. We noticed on other brands, even at the same dosage, he would have nightmares and other sleep interruptions.

While this seems to be a fairly common side effect of melatonin, we figured it likely had more to do with whatever fillers were being used as opposed to just the melatonin. With Natrol, we rarely have any of those issues.

Plus I like that there are no artificial flavors, preservatives or dyes (which was likely causing issues with the other brands that we tried). We give it to him about 30 min before bedtime to give it time to kick in.

By the time we’re going upstairs to complete our routine he’s yawning and rubbing his eyes. He is still a generally early riser, but at least we know he’s slept the through the night! For reference my son is 10, about 100lbs, and around 5′ tall.

These are incredible! My daughter is almost 6 and I started giving them to her a couple years ago. I was extremely reluctant because I did want to make her feel sedated. She was having really bad anxiety at bed time taking hours to fall asleep.

So I finally went and did some looking into the kids melatonin gummies. These had the lowest amount of melatonin (. 5mg) and the youngest age recommendation of of others I looked at. So we went with these they are as easy to chewy as a regular gummy she loves the way they taste and is quick to ask for it when she is having a hard time sleeping.

I rarely give her even a half of 1 gummy and it does the job for her. If she doesn’t have at least a good 8 hours to sleep tho she does have hard time waking up sometimes. I HIGHLY recommend these to any parent that has tried everything else still struggles with their kiddo being able to fall asleep!.

Not going to lie, these work!! My 5 year old boys have a really hard time focusing and going to bed on time, I’ve tried natural remedies, as well as the normal melatonin and nothing worked. I tried these! just one gummy and 15 minutes later they were snoring like babies! Very impressed! I’m one for natural everything, I don’t really like the thought of my babies relying on medication or something that just isn’t necessary ya know?? But there comes a point where they need their sleep as do us parents.

And let me tell you again these are safe! Healthy! And honestly the most affective thing I’ve tried yet! And no. I’m not on here commenting good for no reason lol they really worked!.

Man what!? When my toddler boys are groggy and/or want to stay up past their bedtime, These are my go to. After carefully reading the directions, I started out giving them 2, then 1. now I only take one gummy and half it.

I even use the adult ones. They’re very tasty, almost like a candy but not as sweet. Olly Kids Sleep gummies are also easy to chew and takes my boys less than 30 minutes before they are tapping out. We typically only use 1 week at a time or when needed.

I actually compared the ingredients to Olly Kids Sleep gummies to other brands and found that despite the higher price tag, Olly uses natural ingredients and less melatonin making the gummies safer for little kids.

These used to be good, now not so good. Flavor has changed and ingredients. I’m using a new bottle and I dont even think I’ll get the results I want… to me it’s like if you mixed the vitamins and this together to make a new product.

I literally thought I was eating the vitamins one. What is going on in the factory?!!!!!. I understand times are different right now but put products on hold then. I will not be purchasing this again.

Hardly do I ever feel inclined to write reviews about products I buy but I am so so happy with these. I take medicine for my anxiety but there are still often nights I struggle with insomnia. Even Benadryl doesn’t seem to help calm me down enough to sleep.

I’ve been taking these for about a week now and I have not once struggled with falling (and staying) asleep after taking them. If you struggle with your sleep I highly recommend.

My children all liked the gummies and loved that they had immunity boosters in them. They said the flavor was almost a little overwhelming but not bad tasting. I think it has more to do with they aren’t big grape flavor people.

They love grapes, but the grape flavor was just strong. Anyways, they sometimes struggle with actually falling asleep. We’ve tried different things, routines and different brands of melatonin even. I was very excited to see that within the hour, each of them was completely and comfortably asleep.

The Vicks Pure Zzzs Kidz & Immunity Melatonin Gummies are very good my child said. For my child they didn’t really work as in making her sleepy, but it calmed her more. I like the fact that it doesn’t have Corn syrup, Gelatin.

It also doesn’t have other harsh things in them and Lactose Free. I feel these are a better choice than many others out there and it has a little more boost and extras for it. Overall I think they are good for the little ones and helping them relax naturally.

Our 2 year old is everything you ever hear about the “Terrible Two’s” including sometimes not willing to go to sleep very easily at the end of the day. She’s exhausted, but sometimes just can’t seem to knock off.

We (very) reluctantly decided to try these gummies and O. M. G. they worked perfectly! We don’t give a full gummy. we give her half a gummy or less (<. 25mg) 30 minutes before bed and it sends her right off into dreamland.

We also don’t give it to her nightly, as she does oftentimes fall asleep quite easily. We consider these as “backup” when needed, including when we go on vacation in our camper or to places she’s unfamiliar with.

This product is amazing for both my sons! I use it in the mornings my son with adhd. In the morning after breakfast he tends to have a more difficult time focusing and settling himself down for the day.

This really helps him calm down and focus. It takes the edge off for him to help him have a good start to the day. It really helps my other son go to sleep when he’s having a bit of trouble. I have even used it to help me calm down if I’m stressed or feeling anxious!.

Works great at helping calm your child down for bed or anytime they are alittle too stimulated. Love that it’s homeopathic and gentle for your child. It’s not a strong taste and easy to take since it dissolves instantly.

The ONLY reason I’m giving this product a 4 star rating is because he still had a hard time going to sleep but he did sleep through the night. He said the gummies have a great taste. I am going to keep letting him try these out as needed.

So before I have these to my kidos I tried them and then gave them to my daughter she has a hard time falling asleep. So I was very surprised how fast these worked and they don’t taste bad at all kinda taste good.

My 15 year old son has rarely slept through the night since the day he was born (not exaggerating). His pediatrician recommended melatonin. We’ve tried a few other brands but Olly is the one! These gummies are great in flavor and in the amount of melatonin one gummy comes in.

My son or I don’t feel groggy or feel a sudden rush of tiredness. It’s the perfect amount to ease him into sleep when he has trouble falling asleep, but with Olly my son is able to fall asleep and stay asleep! I like that this one has lemon balm, chamomile, and a few other extracts added as well as Gluten free.

I highly recommend against Melatonin for kids. I don’t know about most people, but my kids live an active life. We read books, cuddle, and pray for our downtime before bed. My kids are amazing sleepers with a descent routine.

A grandparent gave this to my children (with my permission). My child started wetting the bed. Melatonin was the culprit. I tried taking it a night to see how it made me feel. Being three time their weight, I was shocked at how lousy I felt in the mornings.

I even tried taking half the gummy. I tried these for a week. I will never recommend Melatonin for kids or adults. I recommend adjusting your lifestyle to small healthy habits.

My son has autism and needs these to sleep. we usually use the Natrol brand, but we tried these because of the better price. He fell asleep in the same amount of time, and he liked the taste. I personally tried them.

The taste is not as good as the Natrol brand, but these work just as good!.

My kids like it a lot. It does help him sleep faster but he still wakes up during the night after a few days. We dont want him have it everyday. So we give him once the other day.

This stuff really works! Between my son’s 2yr sleep regression, 2yr molars coming in and just starting daycare my son’s sleep was terrible! Wasn’t sleeping through the night anymore, waking up early, it was bad! This helped right away.

The directions say to give 3x a day and that’s key. We’ve done only once a day and it didn’t have the same effect. Highly recommend.

This product is incredible! When my 6 year old wakes up in the night this is the key to relaxing her mind and body so she can drift off to sleep again. I’ve been using this for the past year (or more) with her and she’ll now ask for it when she awakes in the night.

Even though this is a “kids†remedy, I use it myself and have the same success. (I am hypersensitive. ) I only have ever dosed once in the night, if needed, not throughout the day as indicated in the bottle.

I highly recommend this safe, natural product! As a home filled with chronic, poor sleepers, we will never be without it.

I have recently moved with my 11mo old daughter and she was so stressed and refused to sleep at night and didn’t go down for naps for the first 3 days. Yet when I tried this calming blend, I noticed a major improvement in her ability to settle down and actually get some sleep.
