20 Best Chinos For Women (2022 Updated)

As a person with health issues that cause my stomach to swell to the point I look pregnant I am all about fabrics that stretch and features that increase comfort, but I still want to look pulled together.

Being in lockdown for a year and wearing yoga pants, leggings and other comfy clothes has made that preference worse. The thing that initially attracted to me was the stretch waist. SCORE. Next was the rise.

These are advertised as being a mid-rise style, but on me they seem to be at the normal waist. However I am short-waisted so they might actually be a mid-rise on a person who is longer in the torso. The fabric is a good mid-weight that I think would work year round.

especially in heated and/or air conditioned enviornments. I do feel it could have a crisper finish though. It seems too soft for this style of pant. There is a good selection of neutral colors, but no white, which I find odd in the warmer months.

I think these were introduced last year and they had a white then. It seems to me white should be a standard choice every year, just like like black, navy and tan. The ankle length give these a fresh twist, however it also make them trendy and unlikely to be fashionable in a season or two.

The fashion industry overall is one of the worst polluters of the enviornment and I am trying to be a more careful clothing consumer so I tend to stay away from anything super trendy so I can wear items for mutliple years before donating.

I know there is a full length pull-on chino too, but I am not sure it is this exact pant, and they looked so frumpy on the website I did not bother to even try them. My main issue with these is the area around the hips and thighs.

There is too much material there for me. Even though I am short waisted and tend to gain weight around the middle (the classic apple shape) I have a pretty trim butt, thighs and hips. These are way too roomy for my build in that area.

They need to be slimmed down considerably. I can grab a fistfull of fabric on each side and they still appear a bit too loose. I think if you are a person who gains weight in the lower half of the body, the classic pear body shape, they would probably fit better.

Because of the excess material around the the hips, thighs and butt, there is some serious creasing going on in the crotch area as soon as I stand up. I immediatley look frumpy and rumpled. I look frumpled.

As a person in a supervisory position this is not a good look on the job. I got overly excited when I bought these and washed them right away so I could wear them the next day, which I shoudl not have.

I don’t feel like I can return them now. I usually wear them with a long tunic shirt for a casual look as the tunic covers the baggy part. I think these pants have the potential to be a really good product but they need some redesign to get there.

My go-to easy-wearing pants. Zipper-free, yay! Smooth chino fabric holds its color. Elastic stays flat, hasn’t stretched out yet (same pants as summer 2021), got some new solid colors this year (not a fan of the prints).

Cotton makes them year-round. I’m comfortable in 1X (16W, 18W) and even 18 regular. They are forgiving and look/feel ok a little baggy or snug. I’d write the same review of the crop version.

These are great quality and a wonderful option for those of us who don’t appreciate everything being ‘skinny’ especially when many of us are not! The fabric is twill, not chino and tend to loosen or get a bit baggy.

My usual size is 22w or 2x but the fit chart indicated that I would be a 24w but to order a size up, 26w. Seemed too big a jump for me so I ordered a 24w and now I am faced with attempting to alter them to make them my regular size of 22w or 2x.

But these are great quality and really nice if you can get the fit right!.

I bought four navy and two khaki (khaki were backordered). Washed and wore navy no real problem, other than they are NOT the 7 day casual with back elastic that are apparently discontinued (ugh). Upon receipt of the two khakis, washed and they smelled so bad, washed again.

Came out of the dyer wrinkled and smelling bad. Not sure what fabric they are using, but even sweet smelling detergent with odor blasters; they smell like they need to air out for a long time. Am a longtime Landsend customer that is more than disappointed.

Lands End does not know its customer base. Elastic waist pants are so hard to find, and they are a necessity for kids with disabilities. So they got that part right. However, the fabric is unwearable.

No matter how much it’s washed it doesn’t get soft and comfortable. Why should our kid have to suffer in the crunchy stiff pants? Who is choosing fabric for these? Fire them. Return shipping is expensive.

Get it right.

I struggled to find some khaki pants to wear to work in petites. Although these weren’t petites, the customer could choose the inseam length so I thought these might work. When they arrive, I was disappointed in the stiff scratchy material that was uncomfortable.

The inseam seemed completely wrong so I had to have them hemmed. I think people want comfortable wrinkle free material that doesn’t need to be ironed. Slow to be shipped.

I love the fit, comfort and quality, though not the full purchase price and mostly-drab, darker colors. They’re as comfortable as jeans but somewhat nicer, without being mistaken for prim “slacks”. Fortunately, they do have frequent sales but it seems that tends to be when the more-popular sizes and colors have sold out.

I’ve worn variations of these curvy, Legend Wash pants for years, mostly in the shorts. I might suggest the tall shorts for women if you’re mid-height but long-waisted. Though I’m only 5’5″, I always get the Tall shorts because they fit better in the crotch.

I started getting the Reg. length pants more recently and like them much, too. I’ve lost a lot of weight recently, however, and the curvy cut has gotton too roomy in butt and hips so would like to start getting these same style, just in the “slightly curvy” EB cut.

But I haven’t found any (and believe they used to sell them). But I think my biggest objection is the lack of brighter colors and lighter tones. I’m not talking about “bold” brights but rather, less grim.

A bigger variety of colors would be nice, too. The ones I’ve loved and bought most have been in the mid-green “Azure”. They went with almost any color top. And they no longer exist, exactly when I need a smaller size.

Isn’t that how it often goes?!.

So, these pants are generally great, but if I buy them again I would alter my expectations. First, the material is a very thick cotton – almost like canvas – and has much less stretch than I would expect something that has “stretch” in the title.

If there is any stretch it is imperceptible. Also, the lack of elastic means that they don’t keep their shape well. I sized up based on the several reviews I had read that said the curvy fit pants are sizing differently than a couple years ago.

I agree with that assessment, but wish I would have gone with my original size as these expand considerably as you wear them. For me they are at least a full size bigger within an hour of putting them on.

I still like them, and would recommend them, but just wish I had known these things before I bought them.

I needed everyday pants that would go with a variety of tops in warm weather, so I ordered Cloud and Light Gray. Cloud has golden tones and looks too harsh for spring and summer. If I wear these pants with an olive green top, I feel like I’m wearing camouflage.

Light Gray is nice, but there also needs to be a neutral shade that’s light and soft that will go with everything. I ordered these Curvy Fit pants because of the front pockets. I have more of a Slightly Curvy shape (although have to wear a belt or they gap in the back when I sit) but Slightly Curvy pants have side entry pockets – they’re not at all slimming, and sometimes things fall out when I sit down.

I’m usually size 8, sometimes even 10 in some styles, but in these Curvy pants, I’m a 6, with still too much room in the butt and thighs, although the waist is perfect. I don’t like the fabric either – it’s not soft, and it seems there’s a coating.

When I walk, the material makes noises.

Wow a pair of slacks that you can dress casual to dress up. They feel great the right thickness and the length is perfect hard to find that. They have that stretch that when you bend over it bends with you.

I like that you can wear it for work and then if you happen to have a date after work just change your top add a light jacket and a pair of heels good to go. With these you have a large selection of colors you can choose to pair with them.

The only con I have is they have only one actual pocket the others are fake for the look. I would love to have pockets to make them a little more functional. And you will get lots of compliments because of the name on them and we’ve all heard of this person.

The quality of these pants was evident as soon as I opened the bag. The fit was perfect (I vary between size 12 and 10, depending on brand, and opted for a 10 in these because of the stretch aspect) and the cut is very flattering.

I also really like the length – they just sit on the ankle. I am also super-happy with the beautiful sky-blue colour!.

I love these slim fit chino pants! They have the khaki look, but they are still stretch for comfort. They look amazing with every shirt that I wear them with. They are very well made. These pants are made with a thicker material.

I also love the fact that they don’t wrinkle. I highly recommend anyone to purchase these pants. They are true to size!.

I received the Dockers Weekend Chinos, Slim Fit in Camo green through the TryIt Sampling Community and love them! These Chinos are amazingly comfortable and cute, even with my body type which I essentially refer to as a tree trunk, no curves.

I am challenged with finding pants that fit my body type; either too small in the waist to fit my hips and legs or to big in the hips and legs but a perfect fit at the waist. These actually fit more perfectly, with a little room in the hip and leg area which is what I prefer.

With my sandals, slip on sneakers, or more dressier shoes, these pants are perfect for all occasions. So happy with these Chinos, I have purchased three more pair. Highly recommend ladies!.

These are basically the perfect pants for every day. The overall fit and tailoring is way nicer than I expected honesty, so they’re super stylish yet still comfortable. The green color is great and pairs nicely with more outfits than you might think.

And overall, the materials just feel really high-quality, so these pants will certainly stand up to plenty of real-world use. My only complaint might be that it would be nice if the back pockets were actual useable pockets, although for me personally I rarely use back pockets anyway so it doesn’t affect my overall opinion much.

The Weekend Chinos are just an overall great and versatile pair of pants that feels like a real staple piece for a wardrobe.

First of all, the green color of these pants are the perfect shade, not too dark and not too light, this compliments my olive skin tone perfectly. These pants are soft and stretchy but not too stretchy that they loose their shape as you wear them throughout the day.

The slim fit is flattering on my slightly heavier bottom and I never feel uncomfortable with how it hugs my body. I am on the shorter side so I like to wear these cuffs but I prefer a cuffed look anyway.

These are my favorite pants to wear on the weekends when I’m running errands due to the many awesome pockets that these pants include.

I am a 12/14 and a solid size 12 jeans. In most ON pants, I wear a L or PL. I’m not particularly curvy and have a relatively flat stomach. Based on reviews, I ordered these in a misses M, and they fit but with no room to spare.

A large would be too baggy. Curvier ladies and those with more belly fat should probably order their regular size. They come pre-rolled like the pics but roll down for a full length pant on me at 5’4.

The elastic is very sturdy and initially irritated my skin, but I pulled it down towards my hips while wearing it at home to loosen the waist some. They did initially pull a little at the pockets and across the front, but this eased up after wearing them for a day.

I took off a star because the waistband at the front bunches a little. I feel like, with all that sturdy elastic on the back, they should have had a wider front waistband and, perhaps, a snap instead of button, although the button feels very secure.

I purchased the panther, khaki, and cedar. I’m probably going to return the cedar because it feels slightly smaller. Also, the panther and khaki pocket insides are died to match, but the cedar inside pockets are white.

The panther is more of a faded grey/black and would be difficult to dress up.

I ordered a pair of these in blue, size Small Tall, after trying them on in store and realizing that they fit very big. I liked them so two weeks later, I placed another order for the same pants in the same size in pink and black.

I received them and the sizing was WAY off. The pink fit like they were a full size smaller than my original blue pair and were way too tight on the waist and thighs. The black pair fit larger than the pink, but smaller than the blue.

I’m debating on keeping the black, but I’m afraid it feels too small. I also had washed and dried the original blue pair several times trying to shrink them a bit because they had felt large when I got them.

I don’t understand because they’re all the exact same size and were purchased within two weeks of each other?? I checked all the tags and they all are the same Small Tall size. For reference, I’m 5’10” and 155 lbs.

I’m usually a medium tall at Old Navy, so I thought they ran big but it seems sizing is a little random. The plus is that they are cute, comfy pants, just a pain to have to exchange sizes due to poor quality control!.

Love the colors, the fabric is soft and washes well, the cut is flattering from the front, however the heavy duty elastic waistband in the back is ridiculous looking for an adult wanting to tuck in a shirt and it feels very uncomfortable.

I tried on a size bigger(m) and the elastic felt a little better, however then there was just too much loose fabric back there and overall did not look slimming. They remind me of toddler pants that have to fit over a diaper.

A milder, more subtle elastic or a hidden flat stretch waistband found in many men’s khaki pants(not from old navy) would have made these pant 1000x’s better and I wouldn’t feel so ridiculous wearing them.

Also, I wouldn’t be embarrassed if the waistband showed. Even with a wide belt, I don’t think the back looks very good on my slender teen daughter or on myself, an older adult. I did make the purchase, but disappointed in the waistband.

For reference, I am 5’5″ – 130lbs,usually a size 4 or 6 and purchased a S. My daughter is 5’6” -115lbs, size 2 and purchased an XS.

Most of my closet is filled with Loft pants – reliably great fit and quality. This was the most disappointing Loft purchase ever. The fabric is sub-standard – terribly so. As one review mentioned, the pants “grew” as I wore them.

This wasn’t normal stretch – this was an extremely poor textile. I’m a reliable 2 or 4. I’m never ever a 0 in pants. I thought to pick up the 0’s instead of the 2, but this is a quality problem. I think the 0 would have performed similarly.

These are very poorly sized in the first place, but exacerbated by the fabric problem. Returned nearly immediately, but I really wanted to love these.

This chino does run rather large. I agree with the one review asking you to restock in 00 in the Coral Flare. I originally ordered them in a 0 and a 2. The 2 was huge one me and the 0 is still too big.

Will have to have them altered if you don’t restock them in 00. Why, oh why LOFT are you making your clothes sooooo BIG now. I have gotten to where I have to order tops and sweaters in an xxs, or in some cases an xxs petite.

That is ridiculous! I absolutely hate the “boxy” style in sweaters that has taken over in the past couple of years. LOFT, Ann Taylor, please start making more sweaters that actually fit slender people!.

I found them to fit oddly and oversized. I used to wear 4 Curvy. I find Loft sizes recently all over the place and unreliable. These are a great example of that. I chose 4 regular. The waist was huge and when I first put them on the thighs felt tight.

But by the first hour everything had stretched out and was bigger and baggier. I spent the day pulling up my pants wishing I could put them in the washer and dryer and shrink them. I chose the Peach Glow-there was more Glow and less Peach.

It was much brighter than in the photo…leaning much more towards orange. I do not like these and would not buy again.

I wanted a comfortable pair of casual pants that I could dress up or down and these fit the bill! The fabric is soft and I love the Iguana Green color. It is a very neutral olive green that goes with many color surprisingly well.

I originally ordered these in a size 4 Tall which is the size I typically wear in Banana Republic/Gap pants. When they arrived they were fully a whole size too big so I sent them back and ordered a 2 Tall which fit perfectly.

They are a true mid rise and hit me just below the belly button and the length is just above my ankle bone so they are slightly cropped. For reference sake, I am 5’10”, 130 lbs with a 27. 5″ waist and 35.

5″ hips. They do not puff out in the hips which is a typical problem for me having rather narrow hips. Now that I ordered a size smaller I LOVE these pants! I am so glad that Banana Republic carries tall sizes and I plan to order the Iced Latte color now that it is back in stock.

I oedered one pant to see how it fits. I love this pants. Very well made, fabric no too thin not too tick and soft. I am 5’7, 138 Lbs, 30 inch waist. My only complaint is that BR don’t make enough TALL SIZE.

I am wear size 6 Tall because I don’t like crop pants. I feel bad for tall girsl when they can’t find longer length. When the pants are crop I feel like if I am wearing my little sister pants. I ordered the Iced Latte color.

I wanted to buy more colors, but BR don’t have the other colors in Tall. Oh well bad luck and they losse sales.

I love a great pair of chinos. TRUE chinos. The material is perfect, its a little thicker but stretchy. I recommend sizing down, because these will get bigger as the day progresses. I am 5’4″ and weigh 120lbs (small frame) I bought a size 0.

when first putting them on, they’re a little tight but in an hour or so perfect! Also, if you want to roll them more than once, you should get the tall. I love the stitching detail at the pockets! Super pleased with these and I’m very particular and hard to please when it comes to pants and jeans.

I would love to see these in a bootcut!.

I didn’t need another pair of pant but was curious to try them on after reading all raving reviews. Needless to say, I left the store with a purchase. They’re are flattering, comfortable, simple design, easy to style and wear.

Yes, the fabric is on a heavier side but that’s what makes them so flattering, imo. They don’t show every lump and bump on my thick thighs. I live in a hot a humid climate and feel very comfortable wearing them at 98 degrees.

They do run large. I’m 5’5 145 lbs, normally 8 in J. crew bottoms and size M was huge, particularly in waist. Purchased S and they fit comfortably relaxed. I picked natural color which looks better IRL, definitely not almost white, as it looks on-line.

Considering getting another pair in navy.

I loved the idea of the casual vibe of an elastic waist with the heavy cotton of a traditional pant and wanted something a little different. I also loved the chocolate color. So, I really wanted to like these pants; I put them on several times and was amazed each time how really bad I looked in them.

The wide legs are not soft and flowy so the they just looks really wide — the pants are so not flattering and not stylish (they remind me of something I would have sewn years ago in a first attempt to make a pair of pants.

) I usually wear a size 4 in bottoms and got the x small, which was the right size. I saw other people liked them and am baffled how that could be.

All around A+++. I was skeptical about these but after trying them on in store, I bought the navy pair without hestitation. Wish they’d been on sale but I couldn’t wait. The waist fits me well & the legs drape nicely.

I wouldn’t have minded if they were slightly more cropped (I’m 5’5″). I appreciate they’re wide leg without a ridiculous flare or pencil thin. These are classic pants that will last and last. They’re practical while also being on trend & super comfy.

I move around a lot at work and these pants are my new go-tos. Hope they’ll come out in more colors: pale pink, black, rust brown, etc.

Wanted to like these pants, but sadly the fit/fabric was a big disappointment. When the pants arrived I tried them on; they fit nicely. As directed, washed them prior to wearing them. Wore them the next day- they seemed to fit ok.

– though after a few hours they were a little loose. The next time I wore them they became looser and baggy, as if they were a size 8 or even 10. The fit was so sloppy, and the waist so big it felt like the pants were falling off.

They are being returned. To LLBean, Perhaps you will do something about this kind of fabric, as it’s probably not a new issue. Been buying LLBean pants and jeans for many years- it’s only in the last few years that there have been problems with the fabric not holding up.

Very nice pants. The blue fit perfectly in every way. The brick pants were on back order and when they arrived a few weeks after I threw them in the wash and ironed them. When I finally put them on I was surprised that the waist was way too small.

Almost too snug to button. I expected them to fit like the blue pair, or at least close to them. These fit as if they were a size smaller than the blue pair. Otherwise, the material is really nice and what you would expect for chinos.

The length on both pairs is perfect for me at 5 foot 4 inches. All in all, I love these pants. I just need to I swap these small ones for some that fit.

Bought these in a size 10 med tall in the boulder color and they fit perfect and are now my favorite pants. So I bought the exact same size in vintage indigo. The fit was totally different. Lower in the waist and much snugger.

I tried another 10MT with the same issue. I went up to a 12MT to see if that would help. That pair was 2″ too large in the waist. I have washed them according to directions too see if that would help.

I air dried with 5 min on cool in the dryer to get out wrinkles. Still too big and they were a bit shorter in length. No idea why color should make a difference in how they fit. Sadly, I have no vintage indigo pants.

This is frustrating.

I have three pair of Talbots chinos. Two were made in Jordan and one in Bangladesh. I wanted a navy pair so ordered one. I didn’t even try it on just put them on a hanger as I always get the same size.

A few days later I tried them on and they were tight. I hadn’t gained weight but the size was different from the other chinos in the same size. I paid over $80 between the product, the shipping and the taxes.

The indigo new pants are made in India. I can still wear them but they are not comfortable and I have lost faith in just buying from Talbots and being sure they will fit. Very disappointed, and mad at myself for assuming the size would be standard.

I even wrote a rave review for one of the first three pairs I bought.

So happy with my purchase! I chose these pants because our dress code at work is office casual, and because they are equally useful outside of work. The construction is top-notch, and the fit is perfect.

The fabric is of a lighter weight. though still high-quality, smooth, and substantial. so I think they’re probably most comfortable in spring and summer. These can be dressed up with a blazer and pumps, or part of a more casual outfit with a simple top and a loafer, flat, sandal, or sneaker.

I have just purchased several pairs of Talbots pants because I’m building a new wardrobe from scratch, and I’m so impressed with the consistent quality. For reference, I’m 5’10” and 200 lbs. , and a 16 Plus size, or a 1X fit me perfectly.

These are my favorite pants. Depending on the top and accessories paired with them they can be very casual or more polished. They’re also extremely comfortable. Talbots, if you read these reviews please, please stop sewing those thin tags to the side/back of the waistband.

If you wear a tucked it top it’s not bad but otherwise it feels like a thorn is in the waistband so the tag must be removed. Even when using a small seam ripper it is almost impossible to remove without ripping the inside of the waistband.

Because of the tag talbots is my last choice when buying pants.

I followed the size guide and got a 4 in black, but decided I wanted a more flowy look (like on the models) and got my next pair (the gray color) in a 6. Glad I didn’t order two sizes down, as many recommend in their reviews.

The 4 fits great, I didn’t need to return. I’d say the fit of the 4 is “relaxed” and sits higher on my waist, but…I really do love the flowier look of the 6. Honestly a 2 would’ve probably fit, but they’d be more form-fitting, and that’s not the look I’m going for.

Material is very comfy, lux, and pants feel well made. Be sure you get them *right* when they finish in the dryer because they can wrinkle a bit. I love the pocket detail. The seam around the knee/calf area gives them kind of a cargo/utilitarian look, but only if you look close (I didn’t see before I ordered, and didn’t like at first but now I’ve come full circle).

These are perfect for work, relaxing, and can be dressed up as well. My new favorite pants. Would love to see them in more colors, like a rust color especially!.

With the exception of receiving the wrong color from Everlane (I received Parchment when I ordered Ice), which I am keeping anyway and ordering a couple more colors, this is my perfect pant. First, I love the drape and touch of Tencel.

The cut of this pant is ideal for my boyish leggy body frame. Because of medical issues, my weight fluctuates like a yo-yo. I originally ordered a size 6, and the pant “hangs” loosely on me, but when my weight increases, it will be fine.

My second order I am placing, I will order a size 4 because I believe at this point with my weight, the pant will be perfect. I am 5’6″ and I constantly have issues with pants being too short. This is the perfect length for me, rolled up or left down.

Love that it is high-waisted, even though it somehow hangs as it portrays in the photo; it isn’t high-waisted tight like some high-waisted pants or denims. Most comfortable pant I now own. And with Everlane, I knew I had to order them while they had them; otherwise, they are gone before you know it.

I have a small waist and slightly wider hips so finding properly fitting pants is difficult. I also have a really hard time wearing anything that cuts across my belly too tightly. The waistband on these pants is not elastic but is the perfect size for my waist to allow breathing room.

I can’t stop wearing these pants though. As others mentioned, they are super comfy. They’re loose-fitting enough that you can’t tell exactly how big my thighs are, but not to oversized so that they look huge lol – a look I’ve been trying to achieve for years to no avail! I definitely plan or purchasing more colors, and hope they come out with more please! like the reds you have in the jeans or an army green would be awesome.

I was shocked at how well these fit! I’m usually a 4 or a 6, and typically online order the 6 to be safe. However, the 6 was sold out and I went with the 4 and they’re perfect! So if you’re in-between sizes I would go with the smaller one.

I’m 5’1, 135 pounds, bottom heavy/athletic build. I will note, the fabric was a lot different that I was expecting but I don’t mind. I was expecting more of a slack material, but it’s a bit more rough.

But not uncomfortable or anything.

Bought these for work but they also work great for casual wear! I’m 5ft3 and the length is perfect! I love the fit of these trousers, however, they /are/ huge. I’m between a 12 and a 14 so I got a 12, but I probably could have gotten away with a 10 as well.

Overall I would say I love these trousers – great fit, good length, very comfortable, work for work and casual. BUT. They stain very easily and seem to attract every loose fibre in the area (at least after you wash them anyway).

This is a huge nuisance for me which has stopped me from buying another pair, but if you’re used to lint rolling your clothes regularly then it probably won’t bother you too much?.

I could not be more happy with these pants – the fabric is soft and has great structure to it. They’re super comfortable and so flattering. I’m quite short waisted, so it’s tough to find high waisted pants that don’t make me look terrible, but these are everything I want in a high waisted pant and more.

I wish they had more colors, I’d buy every one if they did.

I love these pants. Fabric is soft yet substantial and they’re well made. Appreciate the variety of colors offered as well. I ordered Pebble size 12 as 12 is my normal size in most slacks. I’m exchanging them for a 10 however.

They are generally large overall and don’t fit as pictured on the website-especially in the waist, hips, and thighs. They are comfortable enough but they just look big on me. As for the length, I’m 5’6″ and the 12s hit me just above the ankles-lower then expected but probably because the waist and hips were a little big and they sat lower on my hips then they are supposed to.

I think the smaller size will correct that. I gave a 4 star only because the fit doesn’t seem to correspond to the size chart- otherwise they are exactly what I’m looking for. Hope to order more if the 10 works out!.

These are a nice alternative to jeans but I’d like them better in petite sizing. They’re not as slim looking on me as they are in the photo— they’re a little baggier than I expected but workable. The waist is perfect, just wish they were slimmer through the thighs and legs.

I got the white because pebble was sold out in my size. The fabric is light, which I wanted for summer, but you can easily see the pockets through the white fabric. On the plus side, I can tuck shirts in with these pants and they look nice— can’t say that about many pants.

Fits absolutely perfectly. Sooo comfortable. These are my new favorite pants. Not too loose, not too tight. Barely even feels like I’m wearing anything! Doesn’t ride up high. Sits comfortably. I will be ordering them in more colors.

I normally wear size 4 and the size 4 fit perfectly. Im 5’6” and it goes below my ankle for the perfect length.

These are THE PERFECT pants for pulling off 10 – 15 pounds of STUCK @ home Covid weight gain!! For reference I wore a size zero (NOT ANYMORE) now I wear a size 2 -4 -although in these I wear a 2 as they are roomy.

For reference I am 5’2” & NOW 🙁 weigh 128 (on a cut back diet) as I also broke my ankle during Covid. NO NEED to fret these pants are so flattering you will be in ❤️ HEAVEN… on my 3rd purchase. Another bonus- when losing the weight this style pant looks great a tad looser although not baggy.

They are very forgiving – my favorite part is the baby soft fabric – stretch – and mid-rise as I am tired of high rise pants. Can’t wait for the army green to arrive!.

Love the fabric and style of these pants – I purchased a size 8 in the army green. Fit is good, but the rise is such that it hits an area where middle aged women tend to carry a bit extra and the waist cuts in some.

Otherwise the seat and the legs are perfect. For reference I am 5’5″ and 147 lbs with an hourglass figure you might say. I have a size 10 in the white (through another retailer). I always purchase white pants one size up so as not to have visible seams.

The 10 fits better in the waist but a bit looser in seat & legs. But that’s okay as I like a baggy look as well – just wear a different style top.

Love almost everything about these: The beautiful stretchy fabric, unhemmed style, deep (usable!) front pockets and they’re made in the US. The only reason I dropped one star is the length; I am 5’6” and they are just a little too cropped for me, even if I wear them lower on my hips.

I own 2 pair and would buy more but for the length. Maybe F & E will consider offering some styles in 2 lengths!.

For summer, these are very heavy. I always Summer in Maine and it gets hot in July and August. I ordered muliple pants, jackets, tank, striped tees. On air, the pants appeared very lightweight on the models, by the way the fabric fell and appeared to crinkle.

According to other reviews, some seem to like them. They just aren’t for me, being heavy and I don’t like the feel of the fabric. I surmise this designer is trying too hard to make a ” collection”. If she didn’t feel so restricted to plan within a collection, it would turn out better.

I ordered both the navy & white. I rec’d. a different navy pant & not the StyleList navy pant because the tags were cut off & the pant was wrinkled & looked worn. I sent back the navy. The white pant fit well & is comfortable.

I can wear the pant 2 ways: cuffed & uncuffed. I ordered a sz 8 & I could wear a sz 6 if I want a tighter fit.

These pants are high quality. 18 petite is my normal size and fits great. The material is lovely and the cuffs are super cute. Just enough stretch but the pants hold me in. I got these on a lunch time special and sure wish I would have purchased another color at that great sale price.

I really like these pants. They are stretchy but still high quality fabric that is heavier than most “chino” type pants. These are the kind of pants that I could wear to something business casual and not be worried about ruining them if I had to stop by the farm on the way home.

I’ve washed and dried them once and they washed well. One of my favorite things about these pants is the pockets. They are nice and deep but made of a thin fabric so that they don’t leave crazy lines under your pants.

Thank you, Duluth, for problem solving instead of depriving women of pockets. The reason I gave these pants 4 out of 5 stars is because they run really big. I am 5’7″, athletic build, about 130 lbs and I ordered the size 2, 33inch inseam.

I usually wear a size 4 with 34 inch inseam. The size 2 is barely small enough for me but I do like the 33 inch inseam and the fact that there are inseam options. Duluth, please keep making pants in size 2 or smaller!.

Over the years I have purchased many pairs of these chinos. My usual size had a bit more material at the hips than usual so a smaller size may have fit better. Unfortunately, the colour was not to my liking; I prefer a greener khaki whereas this was closer to beige.

But that is just personal preference. I am 5ft 4 and the long were just right as I like to wear them unrolled. Would like them in dark or light grey!.

I bought a pair of these in a few months ago in store in the sand colour. I hadn’t appreciated I’d purchased them in the ‘long’, but they were the perfect length for me, as I preferred the ankle length rather than the mid-calf length.

I instantly went online to find it in other colours, but sadly none in my size (6). until now, when I found them in the sagey-green colour. I snapped them up, and I’m every bit as delighted. The waist is a smidge on the big side, even in the 6, but not a problem, I just wear a belt.

Even better in the sale, too!.

I have had Devon chinos in the past and loved them. I recently ordered a pair in the short leg which states an inside leg of 29 inches. When they arrived they were extremely short and initially I thought I had been sent a pair of very short crops.

But they were definitely Devon’s and on measuring the inside leg they were 22 inches with the turn up and 24 inches turned down. Unfortunately I had to return them as they didn’t meet the brief.
