20 Best Chocolate Almond Milk (2022 Updated)

When I think of consuming milk, I choose almond, coconut and oat milks. Almond breeze milk is a thinner consistency than coconut or oat milk and definitely the preferred milk of choice for my 18 year old son’s homemade protein drinks.

It tastes great, doesn’t have an odd aftertaste and makes my coffee, oatmeal, smoothies and cereals just right! I’ll even use it in place of water when I make my children pancakes. I usually pick up a few boxes of original and vanilla Almond Breeze milk to stock my fridge and pantry.

I’ve thought about making my own almond milk, but the process seems a bit too tedious for me. In turn, picking up a box of Almond Breeze milk keeps things simple and easy. I love that I can stock a number of boxes in my pantry unrefrigerated until I’m ready to consume.

It’s also easy for me to find this product in the stores I frequent, like Target, Sprouts, Stater Bros. , Ralphs and Vons.

I’ve been using this milk alternative for almost a year now. I’ve opted in after trying Silk and Trader Joe’s versions, which are both good too. But this one is such a great balance that I’ll drink it entirely by itself.

It tastes even better with cereals. I’m a huge fan and highly recommend. Only side note is that I recommend using a different milk to cook. I do use this for making scrambled eggs and I think it slightly sweetens it, but in other foods, that wouldn’t be a preference for me personally.

this is my favorite non dairy milk. sometimes i use the vanilla one with pancakes and other baked sweets but the unsweetened one here is so versatile, it mixes well with mac and cheese and doesn’t have a noticeable taste.

this is so great for cookies. i love making chocolate milk with this brand and i’ve never even liked drinking regular milk. love this brand especially this larger size. i keep a bottle of this at work for my coffee every day.

I love this unsweetened almond milk. I don’t drink dairy milk and soy milk made my stomach hurt. I switched to unsweetened almond milk years ago. You avoid all the sugar fats on traditional or sweetened milks.

This big jug is very affordable, too. Sometimes, I get the unsweetened vanilla almond milk to use in coffee or boring cereal that needs a little flavor. I highly recommend this product to anyone who doesn’t consume dairy or is looking to cut back on sugars and fats.

Love the milk have been purchasing it for years. We always like to keep the kind that doesn’t have to be in the refrigerator handy. However the delivery made me realize that maybe this isn’t the best option as it was delivered in 98* weather and I walked outside to pick it up as soon as it was delivered however the box was so hot that so was the milk.

Ever had hot almond milk? It’s bitter. We will not be drinking this milk unfortunately. Other than that I recommend you do buy it in store or same day delivery refrigerated.

So I have tried various brands of almond milk. There’s one generic I can drink. There is another brand that begins with the word Almond that causes me to have allergic reactions. Silk Almond milk is the only one that I know that I can safely drink.

This package came in an oversized box and several cartons were a little beat up; however, none of them were leaking and I started with those. Silk is “as smooth as silk” as the saying goes. I like the flavor.

This was a great price for the number or cartons and the number of ounces.

I like to give these individual packs to my son. They are very convenient and they taste great. He loves chocolate milk but sometimes I give him this instead and he hasn’t had any qualms about it so far.

My only complaint would be the straw. It always never fully works. You do get to drink it but it’s like if you were to use a straw with a hole on it. It can get a bit frustrating specially for little ones.

I absolutely love this product. I’m pretty picky when it comes to milk or what I drink because I worry alot about taste due to many products advertising that you cannot taste any difference and then when you get it tou most definitely can spot a totally different taste or something different about it.

This is so smooth tasting and it tastes very “chocolatey” and it really is so much healthier for you or your kids instead of giving them syrups to make chocolate milk try using this healthier option first.

So freaking good. I bought this to put in my coffee but ended up just enjoying it on its own. It is so light and the dark chocolate gives it a different depth than normal chocolate milk. I also enjoyed the texture.

The cocoa is also organic, fair traded, and stone ground for a bolder flavor. I think that this chocolate bar has a bolder, clearer chocolate flavor compared to other chocolates. I can literally eat one square to cure a chocolate craving compared to an entire bar or more of another brand.

Its very decadent but not overbearing. Sweet but not sugary. Overall, a very good quality chocolate bar. And only 200 calories for half the bar, which I have only been eating a square of so at a time.

I would definitely reccommend to chocolate lovers who want to eat a little healthier or more sustainably!.

All of those are a big YES for me! Aside from loving sustainable companies, I have to say I love these as a snack, dessert or just for no reason other than enjoying a sweet, crunchy, and delicious bite.

I’m picky about my chocolate and won’t eat Nestle because it tastes cheap imo. My sister who isn’t even big on sweets or chocolate loved these just as much as I did. It tastes like quality chocolate and you get so many at a good price.

Definitely glad I have a Costco membership to taste delicious products like these.

My favorite brand of almond milk. I’ve tried many kinds but always found myself going back to this one. I’m not a fan of the vanilla flavor and the regular but the unsweetened regular almond milk is life.

It makes me happy that it’s one of the liquids I can drink right now before my sleeve surgery. It’s delicious smooth and nor sweet. Doesn’t leave a residue type feeling in the mouth after you drink it like regular milk.

It also helps my acid a lot when I get it. ♡.

Almond Breeze is an excellent quality dairy substitute. I thoroughly enjoy the quality and flavor of this particular brand. I now prefer it over dairy milk. The longevity of shelf life compared to dairy is a hide selling point.

The only downside is the environmental impact of how much water is used to produce almonds. I am a faithful consumer of this brand however, and highly recommend anyone to at least try it!.

Only unsweetened almond milk I will buy! 10 year fan, will not switch brands! Delicious flavor and touch of vanilla. I hate the taste of cow’s milk (although I love plain Greek yogurt) and plain cow’s milk does awful things to my GI tract and hormonal cycle.

Silk almond milk makes me feel great and Target always has it in stock for a great price! I use it in smoothies and add a splash or two to coffee. I like it in cereal too. Glad the sodium is lower in this than other brands and no oil or sugar like some other non-dairy milk options.

I am the biggest fan of silk dark chocolate almond milk. My husband bought a carton and noone in the house liked it. Not wanting to see it go to waste I gave it another try. Now I drink about a carton every 2-3 days.

Ive noticed how my skin has become much more clear since I stopped drinking cows milk. My digestion has significantly improved and I don’t feel as bloted and full as I did drinking cows milk. I absolutly HAVE to have silk if I eat anything thats full of carbs.

I purchased two packets of this because it’s supposed to be shelf stable. I wanted to keep it for whenever the refrigerated seed milks run out. I used one box at the end of February, and that was good.

The second box I opened on March 3rd, and it poured out of the box like cottage cheese. I opened another box and it had the same consistency. I opened the second package, and low and behold, like the first box it was also curdled.

I didn’t think about expiration date, bcuz the milk I bought is based on the description of its “shelf stability”. There’s no expiration date on the box housing the six cartons of milk. I checked each carton, and they were all expired.

Buyer beware.

Our family has been using almond milk since our daughter was 1 and we found out she couldn’t tolerate whole milk. We were using the silk brand until I discovered this Great Value brand. We have never looked back.

This stuff is gold! I have never been able to eat cereal with almond milk until we started using this. My husband and daughter also use this to dip their Oreos in. It has such a neutral taste and now I can’t even remember there being a difference in taste in this compared to skim or fat free milk.

The best part is there is only 30 calories in a cup of this. We always have at least 4 of these in our fridge at all times. The only negative I can find is that they don’t sell this in a bigger container!!.

Prior to starting to buy this almond milk, I tried several others like Silk and Blue Diamond. The Almond taste was so strong it ruined my coffed and ceral taste> I didn’t even like it plain in a glass.

I tried the Great Value Original Unsweetened Almond Milk and was very pleasantly surprised to find an almond milk that was healthy and did not change the taste of my coffee and cereal to a point I count not drink it.

My wife uses this in all of her baking and even she doesn’t mind the slight taste. I cannot have any dairy and needed a healthy alternative. This definitly solved it for me and has turned out to be the only one the covers all of the bases for me.

I cannot recommend it more highly.

This stuff is simply amazing. I’ve tried several brand of almond milk and several flavors and this is the best. Chocolate is second best but less practical because it doesn’t pair with anything. The ingredients are the prize.

Almost entirely the best versions of each. And it shows when you drink it. I rarely review anything but I’ve drank like dozens of cartons. I probably average 2 a month. So this deserves it.
