20 Best Chocolate At Aldi (2022 Updated)

I’ve never been someone to enjoy plain chocolate, but for dietary reasons, I have found this Simply Lite milk chocolate bar to be the best of its kind on the market. When I need a sugar-free chocolate bar, this is it! And, if you’re in need of a low-carb chocolate bar, three (3) pieces equal only 2 net carbs.

And, the taste is really good. The texture is also smooth, and fresh bars are melt-in-your-mouth goodness. One warning though: eat too much and your stomach will pay for it…or people sitting around you will.

I buy these bars from Trader Joe’s…and they are incredibly affordable – only $1. 99 per bar.

Soooo good!!! Very addicting!!😂 the perfect amount of chocolate. I will only eat 2 or 3 at a time and that cures my chocolate craving. It’s not an actual blueberry in the middle, it’s like a fruit juice/gummy type thing which sucks.

I love actual fruit in dark chocolate. If you try these and like them, Costco sells them in big bags! Otherwise Walmart sells smaller bags so you can try out all the flavors. This company only has 2-3 different types that I know of.

I’m surprised they haven’t made more or tried to do other things.

Nope—the chocolate is horrible. I love good chocolate and can appreciate anything cocoa-y, but this isn’t it. There’s no creamy texture nor does it taste like real chocolate, it’s that fake chocolate liqueur taste and super sweet so the cocoa flavor is hardly there.

It’s a shiner lacquer like chocolate shell. If you like real chocolate I don’t think you’ll enjoy this. The inner dried blueberry/açaí part is good. The product as a whole is bad tasting, I am a very open minded eater, but the chocolate is terrible and doesn’t even constitute as chocolate.

I was dodging these on the snack board and still have over half a bag to figure out what to do with.

I don’t believe I have ever tried anything from Brookside before, so this was a first for me and now I need to know where I can get more! These were absolutely addicting, and I was honestly sad to see the bag gone! I usually don’t like most fruit or fruit flavored stuff dipped in chocolate, so I wasn’t expecting to like these so much.

I really liked the açaí and blueberry flavored center, very flavorful and fruity with a nice texture and the dark chocolate combined with it just made it all the more tasty. I really liked the combination of açaí with blueberry, definitely different than anything I’ve had before and much better than it would have been had it been solely blueberry flavor.

I also am not a big fan of dark chocolate so i was doubly surprised at how good I thought these were. The chocolate was nice, rich and good quality. No funky aftertaste or overpowering flavor. Ever since I tried these I have wanted more, and I know that there wouldn’t be anything comparable to them if I looked.

My kids tried them as well and they too liked them a lot! I couldn’t forget about these if I tried, so I will definitely be getting more even if I have to hunt them down and order them offline! I highly recommend these even if it doesn’t sound like it would be something you would love, I probably wouldn’t have grabbed these first as a free choice so I am so glad I got a sample! Full stars on the rating these deserve it!.

My dear mother in law always surprised after work with this chocolate. My spouse once told her that I love dark chocolate because it’s healthier that other chocolate. So every time she comes back from work? She’ll surprise me with dark chocolate.

I like that THEO CHOCOLATE is Fair Trade 👏 and that their ingredients are not just synthetic and full of preservatives. Their Fair Trade Ingredients are: Cocoa Beans, Cane Sugar, Almonds, Cocoa Butter and Pink Himalayan Salt.

They are affordable.

Bought this bar for my 94 year old mom and she loves it. After dinner, she was looking for something and was disappointed that she didn’t find it. I asked what she needed and she was looking for her chocolate bar.

Luckily, I bought an extra one and gave it to her. Her eyes lit up, big smile, and then she had a bite. heaven!.

This dark chocolate is so good! It has a hint of pink Himalayan salt. What makes it good to me is the fact that’s a healthy option when I feel like eating something sweet! It’s organic, fair trade and non gmo! Love it!.

I eat this daily, to reward myself for taking my not-so-yummy pills and supplements. Not being a sugar person, I break the bar into 8 pieces before putting it in the fridge, as I like my chocolate cold.

Then I enjoy one or two squares (or three if it’s a bad day) to cheer me up and get the bad taste of my flax seed oil out of my mouth! What makes it even better is that my doctor told me to eat and enjoy my couple squares of this dark chocolate, as it’s good for me! As a recovering mold victim, I am so appreciative of the Enjoy Foods brand and mission, as mold victims generally end up with a host of food sensitivities.

Thanks to Enjoy Foods, I get to enjoy a few treats and don’t miss the other stuff at all! Okay, maybe fruitcake. Yes, I know, but tea and a GOOD fruitcake is one of life’s most cherished pleasures, at least to my family.

Just need to find a fruitcake free of gluten/egg/yeast/dairy/sulfites and whatever else one of these days.

Since I liked the enjoy life soft baked chocolate cookies I wanted to try out another product from the same brand. I found this rice milk bar and here is what I think: 1) It’s okay. It is a nice chocolate flavor but not a good chocolate “snap” (the kind of nice bricky texture you want in quality chocolate).

It’s more like it has once been melted and then solid again. Soft and chalky. 2) BUT the ingredients are great and it’s absolutely eatable and tasty! I do recommend this product (if you are not very picky with your choc) 😂👍 Flavor: 8/10 Texture: 2/10 Ingredients: 9/10 Price range: $$$/$$$$ (1 bar/ 32g for 3,3$) Over all: 7/10 (-1 for being very expensive).

I did a side by side milk chocolate comparison of Hershey’s, Harrison Swiss Chocolate, and this Great Value bar and by my complete shock the GV bar was better tasting than the other 2 established brands.

It was smoother and more balanced than Hershey’s and had more flavor in general than Harrison. It even has subtle nutty notes that compliment the vanilla notes so well and that contributes to a full flavor body that really shines without being overbearing.

Walmart knocked it out of the park with this one and gives me no reason to ever by Hershey’s again, especially for this price.

Eh, the toffee bits are too gritty, ya know? Kind of annoying to eat. It’s not bad, tastes fine, but the toffee bits are just a little too small, kinda messes up the texture when chewing. The toffee chunks kinda break apart in a way that is uncomfortable to chew.

You’ll see what I mean if you try it.

Best chocolate bar ever!! I can’t say enough about this candy bar with salted toffee pieces. You get the great taste of milk chocolate along with the great crunchiness of toffee and the hint of saltiness.

My go to candy bar along with the other Great Value candy bars.

Dark chocolate is my one splurge. I have tried many quality brands but always return to Divine. It’s rich and delivers a heavenly melt in the mouth. It’s a fair trade product as well. While I have tried every flavor, I always return to the plain 70% cocoa.

You won’t be disappointed.

This chocolate tastes great. It’s gotten harder to find good quality chocolate NOT CONTAINING soy lecthicin or aspartame. THANK YOU for this brand that doesn’t include this junk! I’ve now purchased every flavor Divine has on Vitacost and each one is DELISH!!!.

This dark chocolate bar is fantastic. The dark chocolate itself is rich and smooth and the mint crystals add a nice crunch without overpowering the dark chocolate. If you like a mint and chocolate combo, you won’t be disappointed by this item.

Slate makes the perfect shake in the morning. I was truly blown away by the mocha late slate milk. As a fitness professional, I am always very cognizant when it comes to how I am fueling my body and let’s be honest half of the stuff out there has either way too many ingredients I have never heard of or just isn’t the best tasting.

Typically, I would always grab a $10 protein shake and a $4 cold brew after a morning workout. Now I have all of that in one for under $3. Not only does it taste great but it’s clean simple ingredient are truly good for me! I will always have a cold slate waiting for me in the morning after a workout now.

It’s creamy, smooth and just absolutely delicious. Perfect amount of caffeine – leaves you feeling energized with no jitters or crash.

Hey all you adult chocolate milk lovers, our time is finally upon us!! I ordered a double 12-pack of Slate after seeing their ads on Instagram and being smitten by the prospect of a better-for-you beloved childhood drink.

They arrived promptly in lovely, neat packaging and can be stored cold or room temperature. I’ve since taken to drinking one daily and they really hit the spot!! I would recommend shaking them up a bit since dark matter can settle on bottom, but beware that the can will fizz/rile up just a bit when you open after shaking.

Once I start working out again, I can see these becoming my go-to staples for post-workout recovery/happy-place indulgence. I don’t like coffee so I didn’t try that espresso one, but the dark and milk are absolutely divine!! Milk is richer than you would think and dark is not as rich as you’d imagine–they are both oddly balanced and (this is rare for me), but I don’t have a preference because they both make my chocolate sweet-tooth equally satisfied, but not overwhelmed.

I highly recommend this product! I like this company and I hope they continue the deals, practices, quality, and small-business perks that makes me want to purchase from them. In closing, please make a combo pack of just dark/milk chocolate WITHOUT the espresso.

Slate is a great protein drink alternative. Frankly, most protein drinks end up upsetting my stomach to some degree. Not the case with Slate. The only negative thing I noticed, at least for me anyway, is you really have to watch your caffein intake if you’re going to use the latte flavor.

It has the equivalent of two cups of coffee. So if you’re use to having caffein elsewhere throughout your day, adding this might be too much. So, I’ve opted not to do the latte flavor again. Otherwise, I absolutely love the two chocolate options.

They don’t have the caffein that the latte does. I’ll be back again and again to reorder these two flavors.

I have had these chocolates before – many years ago. Saw them and thought they would make an unusual and delicious stocking-filler for family and friends. Obviously had to try them myself first! They did not disappoint.

The good thing about them is that they suit everyone regardless of their choice in chocolate.

I found out about these back in college. Some of my favorite chocolate as it is both rich and creamy. They’re wrapped in foil so I can have a few and then wrap them back up. If you like darker chocolate they have that too and it’s quite good.

I used to love this chocolate bar. And the Cadbury bar. But again, the ingredients, and size have changed. This whole trick with changing packaging and reducing size while they raise the price is getting old.

And when you make a Twitter post to them about it, they deny the obvious changes. Anyway, this bar used to be great! But if I have to spend so much for it, I should be getting more quantity, the way it used to be.

Just as expected. Pay more for less.

Rather than give out cheap little pieces of candy that are gone in one bite, I bought 7 boxes of these full-sized candy bars this year for Halloween. Trick or Treaters loved them! Kids really lit up when I put these in their bags! SIDE BENEFIT! You get to eat all the candy that is left over! These bars were also very fresh, so we were very happy with the purchase.

My wife, kids and Grandma are still eating left over bars as snacks!.

My mother eats a piece of one of these candy bars every day. She is 85 and has severe dementia. She does eat food that is good for her but I like for her to have something she really loves that is sweet and this candy bar is it.

It’s a treat for her that is a good value for the ,only because every bit is eaten and how much she enjoys it, I have been buying them for years and will continue to do so. I do recommend them. A delicious treat for my sweet mama!!!.

Soft and has an authentic and rich caramel flavor while being affordable and simple. A definite favorite with no needs for improvement. Also a quick and on the go treat for you when you’re craving something sweet.

The chocolate notes add a sweet and more intense taste, and is a delicious summer snack.

I like this Milky Way Midnight Dark Chocolate Candy. I love dark chocolate, and I’m glad that the candy companies are finally making regular chocolate candy with dark chocolate. It took long enough. This is just like a normal Milky Way with Vanilla nougat and Carmel.

I think it’s so tasty. The price is typical for a candy bar. I recommend anyone to at least try it.

Oh my this candy bar is really good. The dark chocolate taste good. I like to put mine in the fridge for a little bit. If you are looking for a dark chocolate with caramel give this bar a try. I haven’t had one in a while.

I’m surprised how tasty this chocolate is. It almost tastes like a very good chocolate cake and It tastes better than any other milk chocolate I ever had. Normally I would buy milk chocolate for me and dark one for my wife.

She doesn’t like milk chocolate but now we tried this and it tastes more like dark chocolate, we can share it/ no more buying two different kinds at once. Not to mention this one has less calories which will take away some of our guilty feeling.

I was delighted to taste that the candy didn’t taste “diet”, like most other products that are no sugar added. The fact that no sugar was added is a plus because the taste itself is enough to satisfy.
